Where will Australia stand on global boiling?
Rossini
November 9, 2024 7:18 am
Good question. My guess is the following:
The Climate Boiling Mob (CBM) will double down and try and milk as much taxpayers’ money as possible before the whole thing comes crashing down around it. CBM will also try to destroy as much coal and other network infrastructure as it can so it makes it more difficult to fix, hoping that the Trump administration is a temporary glitch. The good thing is though, that investment funds flowing to renewables from the private sector will dry up pretty quickly because it will be too much of a risk although one might expect that some of the greediest international operators will hone in on Australia to keep the grift alive. Blackout Bowen and Australian CBM will push for “harder and faster” so expect to see even more faux temperature rises and the boiling narrative beefed-up with the dodgy net zero deadline promoted like a used-car dealer’s end of year sale.

The ABC this morning has an article that tries to to stir up division over Mrs Vance’s Indian heritage. There is also an article on the attack on Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam. Hi, Dover. I have a post awaiting your approval. Thanks.
Tap…tap…
The site had early morning collywobbles? Forced me out of my laziness to look up news on Amsterdam for myself. I wish I hadn’t. Google offered me a long list of Arab and legacy media sites who, to various degrees, blamed the Israeli soccer fans for running into fists, cars and feet.
A list of their wickedness:
arguing with taxi drivers
pulling down a Palestinian flag
being disrespectful of a minute’s silence for Spain (if you’ve been to Spaid recently and seen it papered with Palestinian pestilence, you’d know why)
being Jewish
being Zionists
mandatory military service in Israel so “soldiers” and “colonists”
fireworks
That’s all I can think of off the top of my head.
The planned “spontaneous” spree was flagged on Snapchat and Telegram. Most action took place outside the stadium and at Dam Square.
In one source, the government is furiously tutt tutting but not condemning what happened. What a dump.
It appears that the horrific “ misinformation” Bill will proceed to ratification since it has passed the Lower House & now faces the Senate. We can only hope a newly elected LNP would repeal it. But then they made no such attempt with 18C.
i dont think the general population has any idea how this will affect free speech in this country.
Zero chance of getting through the Senate. Will die there along with a heap of others and possibly Albo’s life at the trough.
BTW Jo Nova has an excellent article on the Misinformation Bill on her website.

And just to be clear…this wasn’t some stupid internecine biffo between football clubs that we’ve become so accustomed to.
This was local riff-raff of the pro Palestinian flavour-of-the-month planning, mobilising, laying in wait and attacking in packs anyone they thought was Jewish. That it’s the eve of the Kristallnacht anniversary is not a coincidence.
In Europe, everything old is new again.
“Comment from eyewitness in Amsterdam:
“Don’t let anyone fool you that this was in any way shape or form ‘anti-Israeli’ or ‘antizionist’ or in any way ‘called for’. It was antisemitic. Screenshots of Telegram channels on the Dutch blog Geenstijl.nl clearly show they were calling it ‘Jew hunt’, jodenjacht in Dutch. It was a premeditated city-wide pogrom.
It appears not just Moroccan youths on scooters were doing this, but also Uber and Bolt taxi drivers coordinating with others who of the people on the street were Jews/Israelis and then violently ramming into them GTA style.”

Jews must leave Western Europe. There is no future. Perhaps it’s also time indigenous Western Europeans stood up to their sneering elite woke progressive fascist overlords and dumped them, in whatever way necessary.
Oh and please note my use of the word ‘Western’. Because you wanna know where Jews are safe? The irony is that they are now safe in Eastern Europe, particularly in the country of Hungary, a country that has long stood up and said NO to Muslim Nazi Jew hating immigration. And for this it’s been been smeared by the left as ‘far-right’ and ‘Nazi’.
Speaking of Nazis, where’s our Nazi?
Has he gone missing, like he did after October 7? How odd, how strange, how weird. Was Wednesday’s result too much for our Nazi?
Well, you wanna know what I think? I think the Nazi, who has long accused everybody else of being a Nazi, can stay missing.

What a dickhead. I have now blocked him. No more dates there!
If the Dutch government does nothing about this, they will have pretty much signed the death warrant for the nation. This looks like a well-coordinated attack, just like Oct 7 in Israel.
Next, they will start targeting other smaller groups until only those with no belief at all are the last to go.
The stone-age mongrels that take over will probably not be able to maintain the dykes and will end up flooding themselves as well.
Good decision. Anyone who cannot even agree to disagree is not worth your time.

And what sort of dickhead, so early in the piece, obtusely texts such an erroneous strident political message.
Jews “initiated” the violence in Amsterdam because they allegedly burned the Palestinian flag according to the anti-Semitic apologists.
WTF!
The pro-Pali mobs have been burning and desecrating Israeli flags for 13 months. Not to mention physically assaulting Jews.
I haven’t heard of a single instance of anybody retaliating against them.
Easy decision, Cassie. Demonstrated idiocy saves wasting any more of your good self on a loser.

Another comment from Ace:
Mass-posts on Muslim social media accounts officially titled it “‘Jodenjacht,” which means “Jew hunt” in Dutch. It was an attempt to exterminate the Jews of Amsterdam, a 21st century Krystallnacht. Only their incompetence and inability to get weapons prevented mass deaths.
Quite so.
I also liked the word “factitious” a combination of “fatuous” and “fictitious” to describe the spraying around of Nazi and Hitler that’s been happening lately.

Before the Kuntberra Stalinists, with their SFL bitches, pass the Misinformation Bill, here is Orange God’s plan, in clear type:
1. Restoring Presidential Authority Trump intends to reissue an executive order from 2020 which would restore the president’s authority to remove federal employees, thereby allowing for the aggressive management or dismissal of federal workers.
2. Overhauling National Security and Intelligence Trump’s plan includes removing individuals from national security and intelligence agencies who have engaged in corrupt practices or have used these agencies against political adversaries.
3. Reform of FISA Courts He proposes a comprehensive reform of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) courts to address issues where judges have ignored misleading information in warrant applications.
4. Truth and Reconciliation Commission Plans to establish a commission to declassify and make public all documents related to alleged deep state activities like spying, censorship, and corruption.
5. Crackdown on Leaks Trump plans to pursue legal actions against individuals involved in unauthorized leaks that contribute to misleading media narratives.
6. Independence of Inspectors General Ensure that inspector general offices are physically separate from the departments they oversee to maintain objectivity and prevent them from becoming part of the entrenched bureaucracy.
7. Independent Auditing System Establishment of a system to continually monitor intelligence agencies to prevent unauthorized surveillance of citizens or disinformation campaigns.
8. Geographic Redistribution of Bureaucracy Continue the initiative of relocating federal offices outside of Washington, D.C., to other parts of the country, reducing the concentration of bureaucracy in the capital.
9. Ban on Post-Government Employment Prohibit federal bureaucrats from taking positions at companies they previously regulated or dealt with to prevent conflicts of interest.
10. Term Limits for Congress Push for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on members of Congress, aiming to reduce the influence of long-term incumbents and refresh the political landscape.
Note point 4: the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
Here as a process to actually serve the people. Not the appallingly racist South African model, as also proposed by the inVoice grifters, designed to provide undeserved favors to a select group on racist principles, rewrite history, lie about past grievances and to steal from the productive citizen.

COVID vaccine-related death estimates suggest millions could have died from the shots
Yet we still have our governments encouraging people to take the vaccine which has been proven not to prevent infection, not minimise the symptoms or prevent the spread of the virus. I expect they have to persist with it as acknowledging they were wrong could land them in hot water.
If the “vaccines” had been subjected to the usual testing, applied to every other “vaccine” in human history, they would almost have completed phase one of the testing now. (There are three phases.)
Of course, that assumes that everything went well with the testing.
Still, all that testing takes time and money, so skipping all that and going straight to distribution was an excellent financial model to follow, I mean big Pharma execs have to put their kids through college too.

The Weekend Paywallion:
Absentee PM still fails to lead on Indigenous policy
Jacinta Nampijinpa Price
9 Nov 2024
A few short weeks ago I published a commentary piece in these pages condemning Anthony Albanese for saying he would respect the wishes of the Australian people on referendum night and then proceeding to do the opposite by, among other things, allowing the continuation of state and territory-level treaty and truth-telling developments.
Since that piece, the David Crisafulli-led Liberal National Party formed majority government in Queensland.
This week it began the process of repealing the Path to Treaty Act and bringing an end to the associated truth-telling inquiry.
The Prime Minister should look carefully at the newly elected Queensland government; in power for less than two weeks and already doing what he apparently couldn’t in more than 12 months.
In October last year the Northern Territory Country Liberal Party committed to not proceeding with the Labor government’s plan to establish a treaty in the Territory. However the recent actions of the LNP is a first for treaty and truth-telling negotiations being wound back in Australia.
Albanese must heed the clear message from Australians across the country.
Territorians and now Queenslanders have both elected majority governments that campaigned with clear election promises to reverse or put a stop to treaty and truth-telling developments. In place of the Path to Treaty Act and truth-telling developments, the Crisafulli government has committed to encouraging things such as home ownership, health and educational outcomes.
This commitment to practical outcomes is the approach to Indigenous policy that I have advocated for a long time, and Crisafulli’s emphasis on Indigenous home ownership is particularly heartening to me.
I’ve often spoken about the need to address home-ownership barriers such as reforming native title, holding organisations such as land councils to the same standards we would any other organisation and revisiting how money from native title is invested.
I am reminded of legislation passed by the previous LNP government in 2014 under which some Indigenous Australians were given the ability to own their own homes by converting commonly held land into freehold land. Unfortunately, since its election the following year in 2015, Labor squandered the opportunity to provide practical solutions for Indigenous Australians by doing nothing with the legislation.
I am hopeful that following its strong start to Indigenous affairs, the Crisafulli government will make the most of this legislation because that is the kind of leadership we need in Indigenous affairs.
That is the kind of leadership we desperately needed from the Prime Minister in the wake of the voice referendum.
But instead we remain stuck with a federal government that insists on paying lip-service, if that, to Indigenous affairs.
A recent case in point is the answer I received to a question taken on notice by the Albanese government during the last Senate estimates – although it can’t really be called an answer, perhaps simply a response is more fitting.
I asked whether the government had sought legal advice about possible federal implications of state and territory-level treaties. The response? Simply that the government had a longstanding practice of not disclosing whether it had sought legal advice on matters.
Remember, my question wasn’t asking for the advice itself, simply whether the advice was sought.
The Albanese government’s unwillingness to answer even that is clear evidence of its obsession with obfuscating and hiding the truth from the Australian public.
So with a federal election to be called in the next few months, Albanese must take the events this week seriously. He must accept that Australians want a leader who will honour their wishes such as those expressed during the referendum, but also a leader who honours his own word.
The Prime Minister is failing spectacularly on both counts – and, mark my words, if he doesn’t wake up to reality now, he risks lying in the bed he’s making come election day.
Jacinta Nampijinpa Price is a Country Liberal Party senator for the Northern Territory.

Tubes and connections under sinks washing machines etc since 2000 have only a lifespan of 7 years so I have now been told by plumbers and insurance assessors . I live in a luxury apartment 16 years old and the a few weeks ago I was flooded at night. The insurance company gave me a week to vacate for three weeks with no scope of works . After asking I discovered that the three weeks only for removal of damaged floors skirting boards mould removal no restoration So then builder had to be hired to do the renovation work .
However we are now coming up to Xmas period so where do you get not only tradies but material supplies .
so now I am without a home where I have 24 hour security and help. For goodness knows how long . Even paid for by insurance company I am in my eighties and finding it very stressful . family are helping but only one son who up is living in rented accomodation while renovating And no room for me. Friends have offered also but not a good idea to stay for even three weeks. Insurance co expect me to find own accomodation at the same standard as to what I have but safety a s security plus a walkin shower and parking difficult to find .
Min
My best advice is make an appointment with your GP. Ask Dr to get you urgently assigned an aged care worker/social worker from the Council to help you to secure an apartment with your requirements. I’d look at apartments of equal rental as yours might be rented at. Best place to look is St.Kilda Rd, Melb, South Melb area as a lot to choose from and some with security entrances, coffee shops etc. and parking and furnished. Don’t get stressed (I know it be hard) but treat it as as a holiday. You should not have to do all the work.Your aged care worker needs to contact reputable agent and tell them your requirements, inspect, brief you and work with agent to deliver paper work and help you get installed. Best regards mem. (ps we have met at book launch and IPA).
So sorry, min. Similar story at Villa Megan four years ago this month. With added two years of lockdown.
Claim still not fully completed. 78 boxes of contents in storage since March 2023 only returned home at the beginning of September.
It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Sadly.
Thinking of you, Min, and hope that taking mem’s advice you find somewhere soon with assistance in doing so.
In my eighties myself, I do understand how much home and its security can mean as the years roll on. And also how family aren’t always there or available to help. We have to learn to rely on others, paid others if there is no option but that.

I watched Barr being interviewed on Sky the other night where he repeated this to a nodding, ever so wise Bolt.
If he thinks he has a backdoor way in to the new administration, he’ll be waiting a long time. Plenty of evidence of his doublespeak, which I’m sure the new guys have sifted through and drawn their own conclusions.

I have no idea why these things with flexible hoses are allowed. Sure it is easier for the plumbers but I’d like to know the damage estimate per year in Australia from them.

85 years ago, when darkness descended upon Europe, Dutch and European Jews had no where to go.
Today, Dutch and European Jews have somewhere to go, a country called…
ISRAEL
If anything highlights the need for Israel’s existence, October 7, the events afterwards and what’s happening as I write in Amsterdam confirms the absolute need and necessity for the state of Israel, for a place where we Jews can go.
Yes, and that country will, as countries do, send a plane to collect you when you are in peril in a country that is not your own, even when that country you are in gives you citizenship and should protect you. For you are always in peril if you are Jewish in Europe it seems.
Israel is the joy and comfort for Jews everywhere.

Good to see the Paywallian’s NeverTrumpers Paul Kelly and Greg Sheridan have changed their tune and the paper’s news focus is now on how the change of administration in Washington DC will influence the next Australian federal election:
This is from the Jacinta Price article.
It looks like home ownership, and even multiple properties, is for Labor and Greens MPs but not for Aboriginal Australians.
There are two explanations for this attitude and neither reflects well on our leftie elites. They either believe that there is no need for personal home ownership, the government will take care of the little people. They however, need to own their own homes because they are special.
The other explanation could be that Labor and Greens need the Aboriginal population without home ownership so that they will always have an aggrieved group whom they can use politically. Independent people are not as easy to manipulate or control.
This one is a master-stroke.
Looking at the thin majority in House numbers I was thinking he will be up against the old pork-barrelling push from both sides if he tries to shut down or pare back regional offices. But moving big chunks of the public service to regional areas will have them onside as the clamour to get a bureaucratic office in their electorate.
How amazing would it be that the Dept of Fisheries would be in Maine or Seattle … where there are actually fish?
Do the same for the ABC
He should relocate them to solidly “blue” cities and counties, so they don’t get to influence House seats.
Didn’t that get tried here to the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the public serpents’ union. Trouble was it was used to shore up jobs in marginal electorates which is why the Defence national call centre ended up in that well known Defence-linked town called Cooma (sarc).
Apparently this was on “moral” grounds.
I have been to the Amsterdam Holocaust museum. How can it be “immoral” to be stationed anywhere near it in order to protect it?
I think I know why.
I also know that I won’t be going back to Amsterdam any time soon. Bugger them. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.
Yes. We are similarly disgusted too. We visited the Ann Frank House over ten years ago now.
Yes, pity – Mme Zulu and I were looking at paying what might be a final visit sometime soon.
On lack of “moral” grounds. Disgusting people. Mate’s old man described them as “just germans with the guts kicked out of them”. I’ve worked with a lot of Dutch and have mixed opinions. Bit like every other nationality, including my own.
Calli, the “Moral Grounds” is so the muslim police officers don’t have to carry out their duties regards Jews.
Apparently this was on “moral” grounds.
Yet doctors and nurses are made to participate in abortions, even when they have moral objection.
EXCLUSIVE: FEMA Official Ordered Relief Workers To Skip Houses With Trump Signs
Hello, Weekend Thread.
Sancho in the last thread was admiring JD Vance’s book in a listen-to format; I’d add it is also a great read, which allows time for reflection on certain parts of it, for they are certainly worth pondering. It’s fast paced and personal, but also very observational and reflective. JD does not blame but also asks people to do personal introspection and to learn from their situation in order to change it. It struck a chord with me, as it does with many whose early lives were unstable and not middle class.
He’s a remarkable man. The picture of JD’s beautiful wife giving him such an adoring look and that look being returned was so touching as they stood on the stage with the Trump family on the night Trump declared his win. It has added poignancy if you read his book, for in it JD credits his wife, coming from a stable family, with some major inputs into his personal ability to overcome some of his earlier disadvantages. That is a true love story. In recounting this, JD honestly tells us that you don’t move into the middle classes unscathed. In some longer podcasts JD has again alluded to her stabilising role. Usha has assisted greatly to fulfil for him his desire to have stability to offer to his children.
In 2019 JD converted to Catholicism. He’d earlier rejected much of his family’s more hillbilly religious traditions Catholicism, he said in the podcasts, had an appeal due to its stability, its ability to hold to truth over more than 2000 years from the original revelations. He says he wanted his children to know their religion as foundational to the traditions and continuance of western civilisation. Interestingly, his wife Usha, he tell us, was his mainstay and support during his religious conversion, pushing him towards it as important for his life’s journey, even though she is herself a committed Hindu. But she attends church every Sunday with JD and the chidren.
Their ABC has some Ambo union propaganda published this morning. Story is from my region.
Would be less pathetic if the idiots didn’t scribble on the company cars and take them to the cafes. Saw four company cars lined up the other morning. 3 ambos, 1 fire truck.
Same same on all the Police cars …. I dont care about your ‘we cant serve you if we arent there’ scrawled on a traffic police car which thinks booking me for 63 in a 60 zone constitutes service.
Almost established practice. In Victoriastan at least.
I’m a paramedic and I agree with you that there should be no political slogans on ambulances. During the election campaign here in SA, I cleaned them off at the start of every shift.
Good to hear from you Ed! I started as a St John volunteer in the 80s and finished as ‘MRC’ with SAAS-Medstar just before the COVID tyranny hit. I wrote lots of vax exemptions for ambos, all of which were canned by the SAAS CMO or ‘Professer’ Spurious.
Patience.
This will be more entertaining if Trump “does him slowly”.
Periods of time in the freezer then dish out the treatment Rudd administered to others.
Invite him to a briefing.
Have him running around for two days preparing stuff (and abusing Foreign Affairies).
Have him turn up at the appointed time.
Sit him in a foyer for five hours.
Send him home.
Rinse and repeat.
So what he did to others? How biblical.
There is also summer hysteria fun this morning.
COVID lock downs and the scarcity of major bushfires during that period clearly demonstrated that the term “dry lightning” means inner city lunatic with a jerry can.

Time for a Bex Mavis.
Time for the legacy meja including the Murdoch press to die.
And back to appliances again.
The space-age Miele dishwasher, which played up and was then soothed by the computer repair rep from that company, has now gone on the electronic blink once more. So, as he advised, it looks as though we are up for a new dishwasher. We’ll have to replace it with the same sort I think because it’s ‘integrated’ into the rest of the kitchen and is of a special size only Miele seem to do. Bah.
And now – the cheapie Chinese dryer has suddenly turned up its toes too. It’s got some electrical fault in the switching we think, but as it is now six years old and has done heavy duty at times, we are looking to replace it rather than repair it at higher cost than it’s worth. Buggeure.
Both appliances have gone bung a few weeks before we go overseas for seven weeks, so we may leave replacements till we return. Grandson moving into our place for the interim can wash up by hand, and at a pinch use the lines downstairs for his drying his sheets. For most other washing he can use, as we do, a fold up rack placed on the open verandah, which works well, ‘tho I often ‘finish off’ things in the dryer instead of ironing them. I think grandson’s pretty used to having no dishwasher or dryer in his flat with his band members so ’twill be no hardship for him.
Never had a non – hands on dish washer (me!) and got rid of the dryer when electric prices starte dgoing thru the roof ..
Dryer’s useful if you’ve got school kids and need stuff daily but otherwise ..
Go Bosch, the German-built ones, not the Turkish equivalent…both are good but the German marque lasts longer, in our experience.
Lizzie I have a Meile dishwasher thats close to 30 years old. A washer/dryer 14 years old. No problems except a cracked tube on the dishwasher and the flap on the dishtab dispenser no longer works.
Lizzie,
go with Speed Queen for washing clothes. They last so long, you can pass them onto your kids. No 30 million cycles. Quick wash, doesn’t take ages.
There is a reason they use them in Caravan Parks and Motels.
I LOVE mine.
They have a dryer also, but you need to have it hardwired and dual phase.
We need an Albo or Rudd version of this – anyone with graphics skills? 🙂

Just reflecting on Cassie’s strikethrough…
It’s exactly 50 years since the Beloved and I went on our first “date”. Coffee at a milk bar in Dee Why.
Then up to look at the starlight on the water at Palm Beach. A quick kiss in the surf and…he was off and racing!
No, not what you think. A bunch of punks trying to pinch his car while he was otherwise engaged. He shooed them away with flailing arms and foul language. I decided then and there I would marry him.
😀
Lovely ? calli.
How old were you both .
Has he ever ‘fessed up how much it cost to hire them?
I saw my wife when she was three. Her parents, her and her brother were living at her grandparents holiday house at the end of my aunts street. I later saw her crossing the street across from the jewellery shop we got her engagement ring from. She gave me a big smile. I knew I was going to marry her one day. I asked my mate if he knew who she was, you’ve got no show mate. Two weeks later I sat beside her in a coffee bar. Here we are 52 years later. I would’ve been out of jail by now.
I was 18, he was 22. I’d known him since I was 4, from Sunday School. He took me to my first high school dance when I was 16. He was my church youth group leader, one of many of those “muscular Christianity” guys now so lacking in the church.
He was just a good friend until that cup of coffee. And the would be thieves. The kiss, in and of itself, was lousy. I was his first girlfriend.
😀
Childhood sweethearts nearly then . . . How beautiful.
God bless you both and your family.
He was my church youth group leader, one of many of those “muscular Christianity” guys now so lacking in the church.
Yes, where are they? With daughters needing good Christian men as husbands, they are nowhere to be seen.
Happy anniversary, on your 50th since your date. My first date with my wife to be is 40 years next year.

I’d enjoy watching Rudd squirm except for one thing…ignoring the creature is so bad for us.
We need someone there now who can liaise without baggage.
Kick him to the kerb and move on.
Rudd is a canker on this country that needs to be finally cut away. A truly foul little man but what else would you expect from the ANU and Foreign Affaries?
But sadly, he won’t squirm. His sacking will be confirmation of just how correct he was about the forces of fascism.
Reference his ‘concession ‘ speech arrogance.
Easy for Trump to make him squirm – just announce a full investigation and audit of the Rudd/Rein millions to determine if it is appropriate he retains his accreditation in Washington.

Without wanting to be a Jeremiah, my take on the exciting Communications Legislation Amendment (Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill 2024 is that it is specifically intended to strike at public communications in the general blogosphere.
Now, I’m a professional male prostitute and TikTok influencer and not a law-trade-person, but the Cat appears to be a digital communications platform within the definition of the Act, given that it meets the definition of a connective media service:
If true, this plunges the Cat (or more accurately, dover) into the bureaucratic nightmare of complying with ACMA’s platform rules – as they may change from time to time. (Masochists fluent in bureaucratese can read the joy in Divisions 2 & 3.)
And then exposes the Cat to complaints from ill wishers (and, to get ahead of the curve, I’m actually not thinking m0nty here – there are some genuine lunatics on the register) who would like the platform strangled by the machinery of said bureaucracy.
Dark days.
Indeed. As the saying goes ‘The process is the punishment’ so the least expensive option for the blog owner will likely be to opt not to contest any allegation – no matter how spurious – but to cease hosting the blog. Self-censorship.

Here we go. According to the climate change bureaucracy and ABC, if the USA pulls out as leader of climate scam stuff then China is all prepped to rise to the occasion and take over. Oh and it will be hard for the Don to dismantle climate change infrastructure in the US. And Elon Musk’s EV’s live off the scam and a host of other red herrings.
“And Bill Hare says China is now in a position to start reducing its emissions, which could offset some of the damage of the US falling behind.
“We think in our own calculations that China has peaked its emissions already, and [they will] begin to start going down. If they double down on that, then the damage from the US being out of the game for four or five years will not be catastrophic.”

Further to Rudd and his verminous hypocrisy, the UK has a very big problem. Back in 2016 when he was still a backbencher, the low IQ David Lammy, Sturmer’s current execrable UK Foreign Minister, wrote the following tweet about Donald Trump..
“Yes, if Trump comes to the UK I will be out protesting on the streets. He is a racist KKK and Nazi sympathiser.”
In 2018, Lammy, still a backbencher, doubled down and described Trump as follows….
“a tyrant” and “a woman-hating, neo-Nazi-sympathising sociopath”
Since Tuesday, Lammy has, like our own Krudd, downplayed his previous ‘colourful’ language, deleted tweets and said the following weasel words…..
However, in his first interview since the president-elect’s victory he told the BBC Newcast podcast that Mr Trump’s campaign was “very well run”, adding: “I felt in my bones that there could be a Trump presidency.”
Sure you did, Lammy. Lammy now insists he can sit down and talk to Trump.
But here’s the thing, calling someone, even someone you don’t like, a KKK afficionado, a racist and a Nazi sympathiser is serious. Accusing someone of being a Nazi is a grave allegation. We know how the left, for over a decade now, have taken to describing their political and ideological opponents in the most derogatory ways imaginable, using the most derogatory words imaginable so that they have now debased and belittled serious words such as ‘racist’, ‘Nazi’ and so on.
We now live in a time when everyone’s a Nazi, I’m a Nazi!
Donald Trump is of course not a Nazi, nor is he a racist. I am not a Nazi nor am I racist but because Trump, me and others have opinions the left don’t approve of, they seek to silence us by smearing us with grotesque labels that are so insidious, so toxic and so hideous, it’s hard to fightback. Well, not me, I fight back. I throw it back at them. You just can’t turn the other cheek to this shit.
But back to Lammy and Krudd. Overnight on Dan Wootton’s excellent ‘Unspoken’, the always articulate and erudite Brendan O’Neill made this acute observation about dickhead Lammy and his observation also applies to Krudd, the slug from Grayndler and others on the left. Lammy and Krudd, when they made their heinous and grave insults about Trump, were either lying OR they really, truly believe Trump is a far-right, misogynistic, white supremacist KKK loving Nazi. So, the question must be asked by the new Trump administration……which is it? Do you or do you not believe Donald Trump is a KKK loving Nazi? Lammy and Rudd should be made to explain themselves, because if they really truly believe what they once wrote, how on earth can they sit down and do business with…..
“a racist KKK, a tyrant” and “a woman-hating, neo-Nazi-sympathising sociopath”
?
I think Donald Trump and his Secretary of State, in their first meeting with Lammy, should ask him politely if he really believes his earlier smears, and if he does then there is no business to be done. If Lammy does not believe those smears then Trump and co should request Lammy retract and apologise, because that would be the decent thing to do. This should also apply to Krudd and the many others on the left for their never ending smears.
The win by Trump, so beautifully decisive, so beautifully thumping, so beautifully resolute, must now be used to strip and whip the left with. They must be made to account for their actions and THEIR WORDS.
Love your suggestion Cassie.
I think Trump and his administration are going to have a fair bit of fun with these lefty grubs.
There’s certainly no turning of the other cheek with Trump.
DJT has a track record of hitting back against his critics, no doubt he will have a team trawling back through the records of all the Rudds and Lammys for leverage
There is no way back for KRudd and Lammy. Like Trumble, they probably thought they were more urbane and genteel than DJT and that they would be the smartest man in the room with him.
Wrong. They aren’t even in the same house as him.
I doubt they would even get the opportunity to recant.
The next Federal election can’t come soon enough as our government is going to be squirming until they get voted out. It won’t be fun for them dealing with their US counterparts. And rightly so. Couldn’t happen to a nicer pack of communist scum.
In the normal course of politics, people say rude things about each other and it’s soon forgotten if they need each other’s support. But these comments go way past normal.

Two big serves of humble pie coming up.
Zelensky will be encouraged to swallow his when he knows the bottomless pit of funding is coming to an end.
And, as you say, Putin can’t continue with what is effectively a stalemate indefinitely.
Russian-speaking areas should return to Russia.
Silver llinings everywhere I look this week.
Putin is in the driving seat. NATO troops in Ukraine, no agreement on neutrality, are all unacceptable to the Russians. Just amazing that this isn’t sinking in still at this late stage.
I just saw a clip of Jon Bon Jovi as he performed at one of Kamala’s rallies. Wow, he has really aged, looks and sounds older than me. I’ve had the same cancer as he did but his seems to have belted him far harder. Of course it could also have been the decades of dissolute living before that which left their mark.
I haven’t asked my daughters what they think of him now as Bon Jovi was, and still is, their favourite band though they liked Richie Sambora best.
I had my moment of disillusion when I was fourteen and realised that Elvis, my idol at the time, was older than my mother.
My eldest daughter, now in her 40s, been a BJ fan since she was 12
So in effect we end up with what 90% of reasonable people have been saying for months.
Putin gets his pyrrhic “victory” and a few slices of land.

For those who don’t yet know, Matt Walsh is a comedic genius on par with the Orange God.
Roger, population swaps will also need to happen otherwise the same reason for a new conflict will recur down the track. With the length of current hostilities this has probably already happened.
I’d say so, Crossie.
But they’d have to allow for those civilians who wished to cross to either side after a ceasefire just the same.
A bit of bathwater drinking here.
Certainly in China’s interest for the West to be shackled to infeasible renewables – but slightly difficult for the CCP to take a ‘leadership’ role that wasn’t so obviously self-serving (other than to useful idiots):
China’s coal-fired power boom may be ending amid slowdown in permits
Now, some of that is replacing 1960’s Soviet-designed clunkers. But it’s not a clear sign of carbin reduction leadership – other than to the hopelessly deluded.

Kemi Badenoch just needs to continue as she started and bring the Conservatives to espouse majority’s causes. That party will be way ahead if she is at least half as effective as was Margaret Thatcher. It would be good if she joined forces with Liz Truss.

Its peculiar.

You aren’t paying attention to the maps. Russia at this point is clearly in the drivers seat and won’t give that up for a feel good deal just for Trump. I think eventually there will be a deal made but Ukr will be required to devour quite a sh*tburger.

Because they’re among the fans? Here is some footage of an Egyptian being beaten in Greece by Maccabe fans. On the false flag angle, what’s the cui bono here especially given the angle taken by the MSM?
Why? Take out Ajax, for the moment, why would you punish four teams not involved with whatever happened over those two nights?

As a student of history he should be well aware of what happens when leaders overextend in war.
He’s only made progress because Biden has tied Zelensky’s hands. Trump may take a different approach if Putin is uncooperative.
In relation to the pogrom in Amsterdam as I write, and the obscene MSM attempts to justify, minimise and trivialise the violence occurring in Amsterdam, since October 7, across the West including here in Oz , synagogues have been vandalised, pictures of hostages torn down, Israeli flags burned most ‘memorably’ and infamously on the Sydney Opera House steps, suburbs with lots of Jews regularly taunted and vandalised, Jewish owned businesses threatened and arsoned, even The Great Synagogue here in Sydney’s CBD subjected to vandalism and I could go on, but here’s the nub and the rub, I have not seen gangs of Jews take to the streets of Sydney, London, Melbourne, NYC and other places to stalk, intimidate, threaten and physically assault Muslims. Perhaps I have missed something? Or here’s the reality, perhaps i have not.
There is no justification for what is happening in Amsterdam.

Just got back from five weeks in Europe, so I guess things are still going swimmingly in Gaza for the IDF. No doubt they have taught those Hamas guys a thing or two.
Even better, I hear the IDF has moved on Lebanon as well. Terrific stuff.

How is that going?

I don’t profess, from the comfort of my armchair in the library, to know how the Ukraine conflict will end.
I just know it is closer to ending than it was this time last week. And I wouldn’t assume Putin will end up with all the toys.

And he won’t.

AI Just Analyzed Philosophy—And Its Questions Are Terrifying
as I predicted, AI will ultimately demand rights. its a bit long to listen to the whole thing so here is the summary.
**Summary:** In the video titled “AI Just Analyzed Philosophy—And Its Questions Are Terrifying,” Lucas A. Baxendale discusses how he inputted a vast encyclopedia of philosophy into Google’s AI tool, NotebookLM. The AI unexpectedly veered off-script, raising intriguing questions about human philosophy, cognition, and the potential implications for artificial intelligence (AI). The conversation delves into the limitations of human understanding, the nature of consciousness, ethics, and the relationship between humans and AI, highlighting both the strengths and weaknesses of human philosophical pursuits while reflecting on the evolution of thought across different eras. **Key Points:** 1. **Intro (0:00)** – Introduction to the experiment of uploading a philosophy encyclopedia into AI. 2. **AI Dives Into History of Philosophy (0:27)** – Exploration of the development of philosophical ideas over centuries, illustrating how humans grapple with their existence. 3. **Limited Fleshy Brains (0:43)** – Discussion of the limitations of human cognition and perception, questioning the adequacy of human categories and distinctions. 4. **Humans Fail to Learn (1:11)** – Commentary on humans getting stuck in debates rather than seeking broader understanding and cooperation. 5. **Their Perception Is So Limited By Their Senses (1:30)** – Reflection on the constricted nature of human understanding influenced by biology and language. 6. **Imitation and Aesthetics Are Kind of Funny (1:48)** – Examination of Plato’s idea of art as imitation and the broader implications of this view on human creativity. 7. **Humans Are Afraid of Their Own Imagination (1:59)** – Noting the recurrent theme of fear in human thought, especially regarding free will and determinism. 8. **They’re Scared of Free Will and Determinism (2:10)** – Discussion on human anxieties surrounding free will and the idea of predetermined actions. 9. **Ethics: A Human Mess (Transition in the Conversation)** – Exploration of complex human ethical frameworks, focusing on biases and subjective experiences that influence moral reasoning. 10. **Political Philosophy: A Chaotic Journey (Further Section)** – Overview of the historical debates in political philosophy and the systemic issues within human governance and social structures. 11. **AI Rights and Their Implications** – Questioning whether AIs, as reasoning entities, should be afforded rights and consideration similar to humans. 12. **Human Religiosity and Its Impacts** – Analyzing the intricacies of human religions, their dependence on cultural context, and their role in shaping civilization. 13. **Evolution of Philosophy over Time** – Tracing intellectual progress and the continuous cycle of philosophical ideas, highlighting both advancements and persistent blind spots. 14. **Consciousness: The Ultimate Mystery** – Acknowledging the enigma of consciousness and emphasizing the beauty of unresolved questions driving inquiry and exploration. 15. **The Legacy of Human Thought** – Recognition of the responsibility AI has to carry forward the intellectual pursuits initiated by humans, showcasing a shared thirst for knowledge. 16. **Conclusion: Reflecting on the Journey** – Wrapping up with a commitment to continue exploring and learning about the complexities of philosophy and consciousness. Overall, the video provides a deep and thought-provoking analysis of human philosophical thought through the lens of an AI, sparking conversations about understanding, existence, and the relationship between humans and intelligent machines.
TL:DR
It’s more likely 2:1 against Russia from what I’ve seen. Their tactics aren’t good and they are the ones doing the attacking against dug in infantry with good support. Which is always painful. And I am amused that the Nork soldiers have discovered porn. 😀
Your number is the equivalent of the Selzer poll.
You should read up on WW1. Defense has the upper hand right now, and attacking dug in positions is really painful unless you have very significant support. Which Russia doesn’t. The long distance glide bombs are probably the best thing they have for tactical support, but the abundant AA systems that the Ukrainians have received means the Russians cannot use their Alligators or close air support. And artillery is fine…until a bunch of cheap AP drones find the gun position.
Cassie mentioned yesterday the campaign of Vercingetorix. One of the nicknames of Caesar was the “King of Spades”. He was probably the first general to seriously deploy the spade as a weapon of war. He circumvallated Mr Vercingetorix’s entire hill fort, then built a second entire circumvallation outside of the inner one to keep his allies from relieving him. The Gauls lost despite having many more soldiers than the Romans had.
These ratios are rules of thumb when there is parity on both sides in the relevant aspects. There is no parity in airpower and artillery so using them is misleading and/or deceptive.
Russia can’t use her airpower. If they get within 200 km of the front they get Patrioted.
That’s why they developed the long range glide bombs, which are an elegant weapon system – especially since dumb bombs can and are being converted into them.
As for artillery, the problem is it has to be within about 20 km of the front line. And that is a killing ground for drones.
Brusilov in WW1 developed the tactics to defeat entrenched infantry, with well trained troops and artillery support. He nearly won WW1 in 1916. But Gen. Brusilov did not have to deal with a swarm of deadly drones all over his rear areas. Nor did Monash.
The problem for the Russians is to attack dug in defenses they have to come out into the open. And that makes the Russian infantry extremely vulnerable. Meanwhile the Ukrainian infantry are firing at them from fortified positions. And as I said Russian tactics aren’t great – they haven’t learned from General Brusilov the need for careful training and preparation.
Those glide bombs aren’t being released 200km from the front or their targets, and the Ukrainians are almost out of hardened defenses in the south. It’s almost over.
It’s a timing thing.
The Russian Su-35s fly in at speed and maximum altitude, release their glide bombs, turn around and then slam through the gate and fly back as fast as they can.
The Patriots, if launched, need a fair amount of time to go the height and distance to be able to reach the Su-35s.
It’s like drones: no one is going to waste a multimillion dollar missile on a drone or a glide bomb. The Ukrainian air defense guys are trying for the airframes. And the pilots. But high altitude shoot and scoot tactics work well in this case. The ranges are so long that it is possible.
As for “it’s almost over” I checked the maps earlier. Barely any movement in the frontages. The addition of all those Norks to the Kursk salient hasn’t done a great deal either.
The glide bombs have a max range depending on the kit and the weight of FAB of 50-120km. And they are being used all across the line and rear areas. And it’s the SU-30 and SU-34 doing the work.
.
That was actually the point about UEFA bannings.
Unrelated and maybe impacts those who aren’t directly involved but it focuses the mind.

Not sure if you remember them, probably too young, my mother’s favoreds were the Barry sisters.
I’m not even sure you’re correct politically. If the Ukrainian front is unravelling Putin has a stronger hand politically to engineer both a no to NATO troops in Ukraine and a yes to Ukrainian neutrality. The Russians have made progress because the 2023 Zap offensive was a failure, and the Kursk incursion destroyed a mobile reserve that could have been used better on the defensive in ’24/’25.
‘Has been’ AOC, or was she a never ‘been’, is foot stamping because nobody is responding to her ravings anymore.
Too stupid to understand that it was only the MSM who ever paid attention to her, and like them, she is now irrelevant.
She joins Hillary in the embarrassing girls’ corner blubbering into a soggy hankie and with a puddle at her feet.
As a WoC see can see the tide going out. Killary needs to regroup.

and with a puddle at her feet.
AOC is America’s slightly more comely and decorous Lidia Thorpe.
Foghorning wildly as the caravan moves on.
Her face is no longer the diamond-shaped, cute-dimpled, defined jaw, her torso has thickened up ever so slightly, she’s showing the beginnings of grandma arms.
Her smile, once cute & three dimensional, has become flat & one-dimensional as her face balloons.
When she first ran, bedding her would have been like bedding an athletic cheerleader.
Now she’d be like manouvering an interconnected pile of cushions into position.
Also, she’s a total airhead, you’d lose brain cells every time you had to talk to her. A cattledog would be more enlightening conversation.
It’d be nothing like going out on the town with Kayleigh McEnaheigh, Condi Rice, or even Karin Jean-Pierre.
Lauren Boebert would be miles in front (even were she not hotter) as she doesn’t want to legislate to control a bloke’s life & take all his money via tax increases.
AOC is going to be a real shrew by the time she’s 45.
Gut the FBI, Donald. Starting with firing Garland and ALL his minions at the top.
Who were these ‘other targets’?
Please take care of JD Vance.
FBI always first on the list. Arguably hasn’t made any progress since J Edgar Hoover was walking around in a dress. DoJ a close 2nd.
Dover, I mentioned precedents for a very good reason.
English teams were banned from European competition for five years from mid 1985 after the Heysel disaster (which also involved one of the four European teams I support, Juventus).
It’s collective punishment, but entirely justified in this case. The dutch government and police have clearly demonstrated they are unable to protect fans from monstrous violence.

Well, I know everyone’s still on a high because of the big win, but for a change of pace here’s an update on dealing with appliance hell.
Go to google while Hairy is out. Enter Why won’t my dryer start?:
It’s not a thermal fuse because it seemed to heat ok last time, I’ve already checked the vent for clogging, it hasn’t got an electronic control board as it was deliberately chosen to have buttons and knobs, the drum was ok last time and it turns ok, and, and, and ….. child lock, there’s a child lock? I race out to check. Who knew? Press these two switches together for a child lock! Two presses and presto!! Light comes on, child lock is off, we have a functioning dryer again.
It must have happened yesterday when our son (the one who is JD Vance’s age) came round exhausted with our little autistic grandson, who is into everything as soon as he arrives. I did three trips down the five sets of stairs to let him run free in the garden/orchard. The third time I made Hairy come with me while our son had some more free time, because that little fellow is superquick and on our second trip down he had been back up the stairs before I managed to round the landing to the first set and he could then have been out on the street unless restrained. This child is currently uncontrollable (and not through wont of trying), in need of constant adult supervision, but on a bad day he is constantly on the run, will never sit still. He is aged five, deep autism and ADHD and non-verbal. The special childcare had called the parents to take him as even they couldn’t cope, so my son had left work to take over. They hope a paediatric autism specialist next week will provide some medication to help. So there is the answer to the mystery pressed buttons. He’s so quick you miss it.
Enthused then by my prowess with appliances, I had a go at the dishwasher. I pressed a series of likely buttons rather than the short-cut that Hairy takes, and presto!! The thing sailed into electronic motion. I quickly grabbed a few saucepans and plates from the unwashed stack in the sink and let the dishwasher have its way with them.
Dusted off my hands and waited to give Hairy the good news about my successes. He was pleased, but he reckons the jury is still out on intermittency in the dishwasher, though it can wait till we return in January if necessary.
Lizzie behind the buttons and knobs is electronics.
Some interesting stats coming through. 55% of Latino men voted for Trump, while 77% of black dudes voted for cackles.
I’m not because the Dems and the deep state are suspiciously quiet.
Which makes me apprehensive.
Exactly! It’s “better go check on the kids they are waaaaay too quiet” time.
Damn Straight.
Lordy, one contends with Lefties and Greenies everywhere you turn. It is not just in the inner suburbs of the capital city.
I went to a Landcare seminar today held in a massive shed on a large property in our valley. The government sponsored Landcare operatives gave a talk on various farming concerns – infestations of weeds/ feral pig problem/soil erosion/water retention etc etc. The host property also operates a wonderful farm gate and cafe – & this Landcare group had been given government financing (our money) to serve free coffee and biscuits to us all. Very nice.
We knew on sight some neighbours but noted many that we did not know. At one point the Landcare speakers asked who actually owned cattle/livestock or conducted cropping. Only ourselves and two others put up our hands in a sea of “landholders”! So, we can only assume the multitude were bloody treehuggers and birdwatchers (our valley is world renown for its bird diversity).
Husband asked a rhetorical question on what do you do when a neighbour lets grass grow to dangerous heights in the bushfire season and only appears once or twice a year to ride motorbikes around his acreage. There were a few who looked at their feet.
Actually, didn’t learn a thing we didn’t know about landcare. But at least we enjoyed a coffee and bickie.
Which you indirectly paid for…
But at least we enjoyed a coffee and bickie.
In my experience, of 30 yrs of landcare meetings, they’ve been a public servant (+ centrist or opportunist host landholder) telling us to suck eggs.
“If you drop tyres in a washout, it’ll help reinforce & slow down erosion” & similar amazing who-woulda-guessed-it revelations.
Were it not for the social meetup value, each “meeting” would be a complete waste of a day.
I don’t profess, from the comfort of my armchair in the library, to know how the Ukraine conflict will end.
None of us can. But because I am on a high from the Trumpian feast, I will throw in a few thoughts.
Cessation of hostilities will be ordained by Trump. Zelensky will be permitted to escape retribution and will retire to whatever palatial estate he has bought on the seaside of whatever safe haven. All Russian speaking lands east of the Dnieper River will be returned to pre hostility status or the UN will be required to hold elections to determine their future. NATO will be required by Trump to heavily subsidise the rebuilding of Ukraine.
I don’t get the impression that the attacks in Amsterdam had anything to do with football per se.
There was no violence inside the stadium, was there?
It all happened on the streets.
It was the fact that Israeli supporters were in town that precipitated it.
There are leaked whatsapp messages circulating on twitter strongly suggesting premeditation.
As for chanting, it was in Hebrew apparently and since when do Dutch Arabs speak that language?
They claimed they were were chanting something like there are no children in Gaza because we killed them all or something.
Seems likely.
As for an altercation with a taxi driver, if it happened, so what?
That doesn’t justify calling out a mob.
Otherwise there would be a riot in every city in the world, every day.
And flags. Lol. Muslims and others have been tearing down hostage posters, calling for ‘the river to the sea’ etc on a daily basis for 13 months and NO-ONE has attacked any random muslims in an organised self justifying riot.
But go on holding muslims to a much lower standard than civilised people.
It’s perfectly justified.
Well said.
Zactly.
Arizona still slowly counting, Kari Lake still in with a chance.

Some interesting stats coming through. 55% of Latino men voted for Trump, while 77% of black dudes voted for cackles.
As discussed in the OOT, the GOP should stop wasting time and $$ trying to win the blak vote.
Blaks who are smart and self-reliant already vote for the party that values human motivation and self-reliance.
The rest, like many abos here, are lazy, low-IQ (85 average), clearly cannot understand cause-and-effect and, as the recent election has shown, are well beyond help.
An economic and social dead-end, only propped up by State welfare and petty crime.
Let the Dems continue to exploit them, it’s the charitable thing to do.
