Matthew Guy has spoken.
Condemning the protestors.
“This is not the Victorian way.”

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory as usual.
You could say the same thing and put the blame at the feet of Andrew’s draconian and cruel methods.
Guy is so hopeless he even bern used to top the ABC headline news.

Ammo for you Arky.

Antibodies from original strain COVID-19 infection don’t bind to variants (MedXpress, 20 Sep)

People infected with the original strain of the virus that causes COVID-19 early in the pandemic produced a consistent antibody response, making two main groups of antibodies to bind to the spike protein on the virus’s outer surface. However, those antibodies don’t bind well to newer variants, a new study from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign found.

What they forgot to say is the vaccines were designed to produce antibodies to the original strain.

Lloyds Classic Car Auctions is seeking “expressions of madness” for all 13 vehicles, presenting it as an opportunity to “own an entire museum of modern masterpieces’’.

Lloyds head of classic car auctions Asia-Pacific Max Cheney said they were getting about 100 calls and emails per day about the collection, which was the most spectacular single lot of vehicles he had ever seen.

Mr Cheney said the vehicles, which are all operational, “need to be driven in anger’’.

Reading twitter, the media and professional class are absolutely shitting themselves at the sight of the working class organising and thousands of strong backed men marching. It’s all sneering “disgusted” and lots of nervous revulsion about “thugs”.

They instinctively know that their class’s protector: this ugly new paramilitary police force, isn’t nearly strong enough to hold this back if it goes further. A paper tiger. It is structurally weak because it is the manifestation, the perfectly crafted fighting force product of the 2020’s professional class’s worldview. I’m certain on the freeway in that firing squad of storm troopers that idiotically lined up randomly on the road, that I saw at least one small female form underneath the Safety Sally pads, special-ed looking helmets, and armour and assault rifles painted in playschool colours.

They say every revolution sows the seeds of its own demise, this one sows petite young girls into its counter-revolution storm trooper brigades.

But more existentially, as a group, they know that they – the urban professional class have spent the last 30 years aggressively emasculating and feminising the 0.1 sons per female that they have bothered to have. If manhood is a scale, at one end weak body intellectualism, at the other mindless thick brow physical boganism, they dialed the needle all the way to the intellectual end, and then cranked it even harder. Hen pecking and torturing the last drop of masculinity out of their sons and men, turning them into strange facsimiles of scurrying eunuchs of old. On the other hand the working classes are at a far more natural position in the spectrum, comfortable with aggressive physical action, happy to have a conversation and a bit of a think.

Which means that behind the extremely thin blue (nearing-black) line that they’re crouching in fear behind, there isn’t a quiet mass of square jawed chad upper middle class rugby playing sons, battle ready, ready to hit the streets and brawl with these prolish workmen if they cross the bridge into their world. As there was in the various class wars of last century. No, there’s a new dynamic at play here that we’ve never seen before, not for thousands of years at least. The bourgeois, the ruling class and the establishment classes by and large have no men of their own to go out and defend this new social order that they have created and now seek to guard, from an old fashioned physical confrontation.

Interesting times.

We will fly
Way up high
Where the cold wind blows
Or in the sun
Laughing having fun
With the people that she knows
And if the situation
Should keep us separated
You know the world won’t fall apart
And you will free the beautiful bird
That’s caught inside your heart
Can’t you hear her?
Oh she cries so loud
Casts her wild note
Over water and cloud
That’s the way it’s gonna be, little darlin’
We’ll be riding on the horses, yeah
Way up in the sky, little darlin’
And if you fall I’ll pick you up, pick you up
You will grow
And until you go
I’ll be right there by your side
And even then
Whisper the wind
And she will carry up your ride
I hear all the people of the world
In one bird’s lonely cry
See them trying every way they know how
To make their spirit fly
Can’t you see him?
He’s down on the ground
He has a broken wing
Looking all around
That’s the way it’s gonna be, little darlin’
You go riding on the horses, yeah
Way up in the sky, little darlin’
And if you fall I’ll pick you up, pick you up
Can’t you hear her?
Oh she cries so loud
Casts her wild note
Over water and cloud
I’ll pick you up darlin’ if you fall
Don’t worry ’bout a thing little girl
Because I was young myself not so long ago
And when I was young
When I was young
And when I was young, oh I was a wild, wild one.

Checking the polls before throwing either Setka or Sutton under the bus.

They’ve already said the police new equipment includes that for identifying people and arresting them later.

Could be they want social media to show a lot of mums & dads being arrested in front of their kids, being let down by their fellow ‘rioters’.

Anyway, Andrews & Setka have unlimited resources & time.

Already long out of work workers are already struggling.

Seems Andrews is trying to push desperate people to do dumb things that desperate people do.

Like letting them march all day, get tired, fatigued, lose the one live streaming reporter people trust and then fire the weary marchers into attacking police cars … like insane American BLM mobs.

I’ve got ears to tuck it behind, or a headband for windy days and working. A friend tidies the hairline with clippers afterwards. Too easy!

Vanity is overrated anyway. I’ve got to say that, the visage isn’t what you’d call classically beautiful, and time and gravity will do their thing. No complaints though, life’s been a hoot until recently, well worth collecting a few lines and grey hairs for. We’ve just got to find a way back to that place. Today’s events give me some hope.

Peter Dutton to give evidence at defamation trial against activist over ‘rape apologist’ tweet
Lane SaintyNCA NewsWire
Tue, 21 September 2021 2:36PM

Peter Dutton is expected to take the virtual witness stand in the Federal Court next month as the one and only witness in his defamation case against a refugee activist.

The minister for defence is suing Shane Bazzi over a since-deleted tweet that the long-time campaigner sent in February this year labelling Mr Dutton a “rape apologist”.

At a pre-trial hearing on Tuesday, Justice Richard White urged the two men to try – again – to settle their differences ahead of the looming trial date of October 6.

The case still seemed to be capable of settlement, despite a failed mediation in August, the judge said.

He warned the barristers representing Mr Dutton and Mr Bazzi he would ask for an assurance they had done their best to negotiate a settlement and were satisfied it could not be done.

The court heard the short trial, set down for three days, will hear evidence from just one witness: Mr Dutton himself.

It will also occur over Microsoft Teams due to Covid-19 border restrictions.

Mr Dutton is suing over a February 25, 2021, tweet in which Mr Bazzi wrote “Peter Dutton is a rape apologist” with a link to a 2019 Guardian Australia article about the then-minister for immigration’s comments regarding refugee and asylum seeker women detained on Nauru attempting to secure medical transfers to Australia.

“Some people are trying it on,” Mr Dutton said at the time. “Let’s be serious about this. There are people who have claimed that they’ve been raped and came to Australia to seek an abortion because they couldn’t get an abortion on Nauru.”

Mr Bazzi is arguing defences of honest opinion and qualified privilege, which requires someone to have acted reasonably in publishing information in the public interest.

He raised more than $150,000 in a public appeal to fund his defence.

Greens senator Larissa Waters issued a public apology to Mr Dutton in March over a similar statement.

On Tuesday, the Queensland MP’s barrister Nick Ferrett QC asked for permission to amend the initial claim in the matter, saying he was not seeking to substantively expand the case.

In Melbourne, Australia, the fury over vaccine mandates is exploding
By Andrea Widburg

The Australian state of Victoria, the capital of which is Melbourne, Australia’s second-largest city, has seen some of the world’s most draconian COVID rules. The latest order, mandating vaccines for the construction industry along with a two-week industry-wide shutdown, sparked huge, violent protests from trade unions. Most strikingly, union members turned against their own union boss.

The Daily Mail described the frenzy of two days of protests (with “tradies” referring to the trade unionists):

[…]
Writing at The Conservative Treehouse, Sundance explains just how serious these protests are, insofar as they’ve seen union members turning against their own union boss:

As he was attempting to hunker down in his office headquarters, union boss John Setka physically came under attack from his own union membership over his political relationship with Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews.

This is the U.S. equivalent of AFL-CIO members launching a violent uprising against former union President Richard Trumka; and then Trumka running to Joe Biden for help and protection from his own membership.

The CFMEU members are the heavy-hitting blue-collar construction and dirty fingernail workers, and the leadership of the CFMEU are the thug-like mobsters who run the union.

Just like the AFL-CIO or UAW in America, the union leadership in Australia is politically corrupt and disconnected from the members they serve. Earlier today (AU-time), the union members organized to confront the union leadership.

[snip]

This is a very interesting development. If the heavy-hitting labor unions start striking back against government leadership they previously supported and installed, the entire dynamic of power shifts. We must keep watching this closely because this is also the dynamic we could see play out in the United States, only on a much larger scale.

The Daily Mail described the frenzy of two days of protests (with “tradies” referring to the trade unionists):

Yesterday the dude speaking through the loudhailer claimed to have parents from Croatia, and that he knew it when he and his parents saw communism. “They are fkg communsts” he was shouting, pointing to the CFMEU offices behind him.

I’m thinking the lads on the street are certainly unionists but only so far as they can get well paid work on construction sites. Unionists by extortion racket but not of heart. So take away their loot and they see no value in the fkg union commos they are forced to feed to keep the gates open.

Now, they have 2 weeks with plenty of time to organise properly and get out daily causing mayhem for the scum causing them all this grief and loss of pay. Let’s see what the VikStasi do next. Midnight visits to certain houses I expect.

Just read the story Adam of the Dash-Cat has put up about his experience of Qld hotel quarantine with six kids, two of them ADD and one of them autistic, plus his wife with a distressingly painful illness.

He is a hero of a dad. The move has been prompted by problems with his business due to Covid restrictions in NSW. As we found when we arrived back in Sydney from the US in March 2020 the Health people are a load of headless chooks. Nothing seems to have changed much, and that they should be able to impose draconian restrictions on this family is fairly telling about where Oz is now.

In Adam’s own words:

Overall we are managing well and thankful for the little things we do get. Most people on our journey have been absolutely fine and doing their best but that is not to say that any of this is remotely acceptable. We tell our kids every day that life is not fair and to play the cards you are dealt and that is exactly what we have done. However I must invoke godwins law and can’t but help think of Nazi germany. Its something I think about every day but the parallels are more evident than ever currently. No one thinks we have Covid, several negative test have confirmed this. No one thinks a family like ours should have to stay in prison conditions without the benefit of fresh air, sunshine and then being billed for the privilege. No one thinks that a human chain is an effective covid barrier at an airport or that touching peoples luggage fully masked twice is significantly more risky than once. Yet here we are where arbitrary and contradictory decisions are made daily that affect everyone, and no one has any power to help, to answer questions, to be held accountable. Everyone is just doing what they have to to survive, no one wants to enforce stupid mask rules, shopping with people form the same household, check ins and the like yet everyone does and anyone who steps out of line is sacrificed and made an example of. A lot of the rules applied to us seem unconstitutional but there is no pushback from the legal space, or the airline space, or the tourism sector or the hospitality sector, even the construction sector went soft in Sydney.

Two small hotel rooms, no outside air, no balcony, and a 14 day sentence.
They did try to get permission to home quarantine, but no go. Disgusting.

I’m going to predict that the tens of thousands of protestors will not get tired out running the coppers around the CBD and environs for eight, nine or 10 hours a day, every day before said coppers run out of overtime, and other resources, fatigued and demoralised.
Then we’ll see what happens on the day they can no longer keep the protestors out of the government district, which seems to be their number one sensitive spot.
This isn’t a limited over match, this is a test match.

I am holding off a move back north with 2 cars & a traler till the border is uncondionally open.

I found myself today enjoying the CFMEU giving authrities the run around and thought wow. We certainly do live in interesting times with strange bedfellows.

Cashier shot dead in mask row
AFP

Germany reacted with shock and outrage on Tuesday after a 20-year-old petrol station worker was shot dead by a customer angry about being asked to put on a mask while buying beer.
The killing on Saturday night in the western town of Idar-Oberstein is believed to be the first in Germany linked to the government’s coronavirus rules.
The row started when the cashier, a student, told the customer to put on a face mask, as required in all German shops. After a brief argument, the man left.
The suspect then returned about an hour and a half later, this time wearing a mask. But as he brought his six-pack of beer to the till, he took off the mask and another discussion ensued.
“The perpetrator then pulled out a revolver and shot him straight in the head,” prosecutor Kai Fuhrmann said.
The suspect, a 49-year-old German man, walked to a police station the following day to turn himself in. He was arrested and has confessed to the murder.
He told police he felt “cornered” by the coronavirus measures, which he perceived as an “ever-growing infringement on his rights” and he had seen “no other way out”, Mr Fuhrmann said.
Idar-Oberstein mayor Frank Fruehauf called it “an unfathomable, terrible act”, and residents have laid flowers and candles outside the petrol station.

I got the impression that the protest turned out much larger than expected, so once on the move, and with no speakers planned to address the marchers, there was a level of, well, let’s go around the city to Parliament House twice, and then on to the Westgate. The Westgate at the start would have been good, but numbers were needed for that. And many non cfmeu people arrived as the day wore on. But I think the protest march for the sake of the protest march alone confounded the police because it was unpredictable. I’m not sure what happened at the very end. There were choppers and sirens later in the cbd.

It’s extra interesting now that things are getting obviously bad (as opposed to Govt telling us to believe them on Their News), in heavily Jabbed places around the world and respected undercover units like Project Veritas are coming out with what’s really going on in hospitals.

Really, for near two years people have gone along with ridiculous demands and probably would have kept going along but that wasn’t enough for Govt.

Govt wanted people to offer up the children.

Jeff Kennett: Victoria’s cancerous leadership eating state from within

Dictator Dan’s “my way or the high way” style of leadership now verges on megalomania — and it shows his government has lost control.

The Premier and his government have lost control yet again of the administration of Victoria’s response to the pandemic.

This autocratic style of governing that verges on megalomaniac is totally unacceptable after almost two years of restrictions and lecturing by our elected leaders.

Decisions made late at night without any understanding of the consequences for the community are almost dictatorial. “My way or the highway”, regardless of the damage.

On Monday just before midnight the government closed down the construction industry, except on its own two projects, level crossing removals and the tunnel construction. Neither vital.

Tradies, many of whom are vaccinated with one or two shots, are prohibited in completing electrical, plumbing, or other jobs at your home, let alone trying to finish projects before Christmas.

This is what happens when you have people running the state who have no private sector experience whatsoever. They finish school or university and move straight into the political stream. They keep giving themselves pay rises while making decisions that prohibit others in the private sector from even earning an income.

We Victorians are paying a price, no community in this country has ever experienced before. Not even during war time.

We are being eaten from within by what can be compared to a spreading cancer, but the cancer is the government. If you did not know otherwise, you could believe this was an orchestrated action to weaken the state of Victoria and its people to the point of submission.

Of course, the so-called road map out of the pandemic was no road map at all. Because it failed to deliver one important ingredient. Hope.

What it committed Victorians to was another five or six weeks of lockdown. The community is increasing disillusioned, depressed, and hurting. Importantly, it left unsaid what would happen if we dido not reach 80 per cent double vaccination by the appointed date.

There were a whole range of rewards the government could have offered those who were already vaccinated. They gave none. No hope. They just continue to snarl at the vast majority of law-abiding, vaccinated Victorians.

It is time for a new way. Victoria cannot continue to be destroyed by these Labor apparatchiks who have never directly employed anyone in their lives and who have no appreciation of what makes the world go around.

The bugmen have changed so much of what ‘normal’ life was for so many of us, destroying lives and livelihoods, but arrogantly assume their lies will never be found out and/or successfully spun, that nothing has really changed for their own trajectory – that disliked or not, they’ll just be allowed to retire with their generous pensions and move on to their corporate, NFP or super fund board position, go to all the right functions and events etc, occasionally get asked for an opinion by the ABC perhaps.

I don’t think they see or understand the brewing hatred. You only had to see and hear the comments from those Rukshan and others spoke to yesterday and today to appreciate that actually, there are a whole lot of people who are well informed, acting on principle and no longer buying the bullshit – and it isn’t who you thought it would be.

Yet the denial, lies, bravado and tone deaf media statements continue. They honestly can’t perceive that anything other than an election could change a government here. Before today, neither would have I.

John Setka to enter witness protection program after selling out CFMEU members
September 21, 2021 by Minister Sinister
CFMEU President John Setka has entered the witness protection program after running from angry CFMEU members protesting the no jab, no work mandate.

Setka was taken to an undisclosed location in EZFKA this evening by Victoria Police, after CFMEU headquarters was wrecked by angry protestors.

“Mr Setka was taken to a secure location and will remain there for his safety and the safety of the Victorian Labor Party,” Premier Daniel Andrews said.

“Unfortunately, the bikies protecting Mr Setka were unable to provide adequate protection and I have instructed Victoria Police to oblige their requests.”

Mr Setka is believed to be recovering and finding his balls.

Avi’s video is very interesting and I noted what Twostix talked about above, you could see the Melbourne cops trembling with fear. I suppose it’s been easy for them being Dick Dan’s very own paramilitary force, they’ve probably enjoyed the power derived from pushing elderly women to the ground, hassling Jews wanting to go to synagogue, cuffing a mother in her home for a Facebook post.

Oh and note how there was no Melbourne cop beckoning the protesters with the words ‘come on, pu**ies’. I wish one cop had tried. I’d pay to see that.

Petition EN3179 – Immediately release all TGA submission documents for publicly funded vaccines

Petition Reason
The Australian public has so far funded covid vaccine manufacturers to the tune of $5bn, and this may rise. At the same time the government is attempting to mandate these novel therapies on the public using public health orders, the media and calls for “mandatory vaccination”. The TGA who are tasked with ensuring the safety of drugs provided to the public have established that they have abrogated their responsibility to do so by refusing to disclose information regarding these drugs despite freedom of information requests. It is now time that the right of the public to inspect any documents for vaccines that are funded by them is restored. The TGA must no longer be the sole arbiter of what documents should be considered confidential if the public is paying pharma companies for their products. The public should have the right to access that information. All animal and and clinical studies should be available to open inspection in the interests of safety and transparency. If pharma companies wish to maintain confidentiality of their products or the studies that they conduct they should be allowed to do so but only for drugs that do not attract public funding (e.g. PBS)

Petition Request
We therefore ask the House to pass legislation, effective immediately, to release all documents held by the TGA in relation to any vaccines that have been approved (provisionally or fully) by them for products that have been paid for using public funds. This should start urgently with the release of all covid vaccine documents.

I just noticed something. Last night I noted observing a bloke in a grey hoodie in the crowd outside the CMFEU HQ who looked out of place. He was quiet and motionless, standing at the front left of the crowd facing Setka & Co, but intensely observant towards them. Watching Avi’s footage just now: he appears standing as one of the big boy enforcers out the front of the wrecked facade. Clearly he had previously positioned himself among the crowd so he could identify the ringleaders, or most vocal critics. (Indeed, from the footage, prior to the physicality, a very vocal bloke was pumping up the crowd from a position on Setka’s front right. Whether this grey hoodie bloke had already positioned himself there, or did so quietly after noticing the heckler, I don’t know). It’s interesting to speculate on grey hoodie bloke’s real role, to wonder if he was instructed to place himself in the crowd, and if there were any others so placed.
