Former Queen of pop Debra Byrne has slammed her former Young Talent Time co-stars, years after making bombshell allegations over her treatment on the show.
Byrne, 64, who was a founding cast member of the 1970s variety show, took aim at former show host Johnny Young and performers Tina Arena and Dannii Minogue after the trio appeared on Sunday night’s 50th anniversary special on Channel 10.

I saw something really odd the other week. There looked like a 500m line of smoke coming out of the ocean. I couldnt tell if it was steam or a gas or what. Then a large military plane came down and flew extremely low along the length of it. Presumably it caused it in the first place. There were no boats around.

Accounting and consultancy heavyweight PwC is understood to have sought legal advice following staff outrage over two executives mocking Chinese accents and dressing up as a ‘bat from Wuhan’ during an internal trivia event.
Last Thursday’s trivia event also contained an allegedly racist trivia question in which a series of company logos were shown including Chinese tech company Huawei, with contestants asked which best represented communism.
PwC chief executive Tom Seymour has apologised to staff that attended the event for the incident, which he said “did not reflect the values and culture of our firm and which has caused discomfort and offence”.
“The behaviour included two racist and offensive sketches which, whilst unintentional, were thoughtless and harmful,” he said in an email that was sent to staff on Tuesday morning.
“On behalf of all the team at PwC, I am extremely disappointed that this incident has occurred,” Mr Seymour said.
“We have shared communications with our partners and staff reminding them to consider how our behaviour can impact others. Put simply, our ask is that our people put themselves in other people’s shoes.”
All PwC partners were emailed about the incident on Monday, with Mr Seymour holding a company town hall in the afternoon in which he apologised to attendees of the trivia event.
Mr Seymour urged staff to “speak up” if they saw behaviour “that doesn’t feel right and is inappropriate”.
PwC said Mr Seymour would hold further company webcasts to discuss the broader issue of inclusion at the firm later this week.
“I am hugely disappointed we fell short of the standard we hold ourselves to,” Mr Seymour said.
PwC has in recent years pushed to widen diversity among its workforce.
“One of the best aspects of my career at PwC has been the opportunity to work with colleagues from all backgrounds, cultures and beliefs,” Mr Seymour said.
“We aspire to be an inclusive and caring organisation. We have to work harder to meet this goal.”
The night trivia was one of many run by the company as a morale boosting activity, but has reportedly left many PwC staff questioning attitudes of company management.
The behaviour of two HR executives will now be investigated by a People and Ethical Conduct Panel, with potential disciplinary action or termination an outcome.
PwC said it would expedite the investigation process, aiming to resolve the matter within the week.
The group stressed that while the racist trivia events were first circulated on the Instagram page The Aussie Corporate on Saturday, the firm was aware of the allegations by Friday.
In a post the Instagram page warned the incident would “hit the mainstream soon”.
The page offers anonymous submission of tips.
