Ah..yes.
In the US version of Househunters, bathrooms are evidently some sort of status symbol – the more the better. Doting (stupid) parents say things like – oh, no, Taylor and Lilly could never share a bathroom – there’d be fights!
Two observations:
(i) while there has long been conflict in families where everyone is trying to get ready at about the same time (TV sitcoms have dined out on this forever) it didn’t cause the world to come to an end. Multiple toilets certainly make sense in a busy household, but whole bathrooms? Unless there are lots of kids, which is almost never nowadays, two should be plenty; and
(ii) with the US examples, one can only assume an unending supply of cheap immigrant labour to clean them. You can’t tell me that a woman whose family spends enough on a house to have four or five bathrooms actually cleans them herself.
I’m not at all puritanical about home comforts, but the trend to bringing back the need for poorly paid servants to maintain conspicuous consumption does make me uneasy.
When I was preparing my last joint for sale, I got in commercial cleaners who turned out to be, yep, all immigrants. The smell of the stuff they used to clean the bathroom (it was a top to bottom including ceiling job) made my nose hairs curl. It would cut axle grease. But at least they were paid the minimum wage, and presumably were covered by workers comp.
I suppose the hard core libertarians would not share my discomfort about some of these things. There is nothing wrong with people being paid for providing services, but in the US a big driver of the illegal immigrant inflow is the availability of cheap unregulated labour to clean your five bathrooms or mind your children or tend and harvest your crops.
If the spigot was turned off, I wonder how many of those five bathroom houses would hit the market?

Yeah, like legal tender over $10,000 cash, effectively isn’t.
The Topic was, ‘when did Australia turn a corner regarding giving up our freedoms’.
Forcing people who only ever dealt in cash to open bank accounts (that were going to go fully digital as we’re trained to progressively give Govt & 3rd parties the most intimate details about ourselves), was a pretty major step towards now when people are already being denied the right to buy, sell or trade if they’ve been ‘unpersoned’ … and people like you ‘mark’ others for ‘unpersoning’ while laughing and saying it’s their own fault if their non-compliance has cut them out of markets.

But if he backs down and allows “freedoms” faster than he’s announced, especially if “case numbers” are still high, people will start to wonder why the restrictions were so harsh in the first place.
So he has to get the proles jabbed faster, even if that means that the vaxx is totally ineffective.

I was told it made the MSM News and they said that it was NOT a comet or something from out of our atmosphere, but something was seen travelling in the sky, glowing, before ‘exploding’ ‘blue’ and the blackouts happening.
I ask because the same thing happened some years ago in another region but what stood out was that while whole blocks blacked out, some properties on the same power supplies did NOT lose power at all.
Do you know of what sort of natural phenomenon’s could do this sort of thing or are the people talking about ‘EMP Tests’ likely close to the mark?

Thanks for the link Dr F.
A while ago rosie linked to a paper from Imperial College (notable faculty member Neil “Pants Down” Ferguson, world class wrongologist) which claimed to show that vaccinations gave some protection against catching and transmitting covid, by reference only to society wide data.
I pointed out that the paper also said that catching and transmitting covid was more prevalent among underprivileged and minorities, and that the paper was thus meaningless without an analysis of whether “vaccine hesitancy” was equal or different among different socioeconomic groups, since otherwise the society wide data might be misleading.
Your link confirms that vaccine hesitancy is higher among minorities and underprivileged than society in general.
Of course without a detailed examination of the total database it’s not possible to draw conclusions, but at the very least there must be a question mark as to what if anything the paper really tells us about vaxx effectiveness re catching and transmitting.

The re-visitation of the Great Prediction #341.
Yeah.
But nah.
Struth predicted a failure in point to point trucking links within 1-2 weeks of 1st August 2020.
What we are seeing now has nothing to do with the trucking part of the process.
There are two things at play.
1. Large numbers of staff are being taken out of supermarkets because of 1-2 cases; and
2. As mentioned above, the ‘all eggs in one basket’ procurement practices of having large centralised bakeries (and now butchers). One case on one shift in the bakery and they are screwed.
Completely different to the Great Prediction.
And it makes sense.
The most labour intensive part of the process, and where people work in close proximity is in the supermarket itself, followed next by distribution centres and centralised bakeries and butchers.
Truck drivers are, by the nature of the work, more isolated than almost everyone else in the process and less prone to being taken out by a contact at work.
And they are relatively easily covered for. An average supermarket might have 2-3 semi-trailer drops a day. Taking out one driver doesn’t collapse the system.
So, not a great Grand Final Plan B location for when Dr Moist Hairstyle pushes a panic Brisbane lockdown on Saturday morning.

Favourite scenes were at the end – a immobilised tank held up an entire battalion of Waffen SS for something like 24 hrs.
In reality a battalion of Waffen SS wouldn’t have even had to break stride to eliminate one tank – never mind an immobilised one.
The rest of the movie I could accept (this is not the same meaning as endorse). The ending was farce.
Quote “Moderna’s promise — and the more than $2 billion it raised before going public in 2018 — hinged on creating a fleet of mRNA medicines that could be safely dosed over and over. But behind the scenes the company’s scientists were running into a familiar problem. In animal studies, the ideal dose of their leading mRNA therapy was triggering dangerous immune reactions — the kind for which Karikó had improvised a major workaround under some conditions — but a lower dose had proved too weak to show any benefits.
Moderna had to pivot. If repeated doses of mRNA were too toxic to test in human beings, the company would have to rely on something that takes only one or two injections to show an effect. Gradually, biotech’s self-proclaimed disruptor became a vaccines company, putting its experimental drugs on the back burner and talking up the potential of a field long considered a loss-leader by the drug industry.”
This is from statnews.com Nov 2020 in the article “The story of mRNA…”
A cynic might suggest that none of the vaccine cos. have solved the dosage problem too well, hence the forever booster shots.
Seems to me a reasonable surmise that all the companies and the Government health authorities were happy to sell the over-promise of the vaccines and we are now suffering the bullshit consequences.

It’s impossible to know or estimate, from the article I have linked to above, how many active ‘tacticals’ took part in what has become known as the Jan 6 Capitol Riots. There are so many questions though: Assuming only 20 individuals were present and active – how were they transported to Washington? Where were they accommodated? Who paid for the accommodation, their meals and other costs? Who procured the Confederate flags, other props, helmets and other necessary clothing and equipment? Were all of these people from the same source? If not, how was the co-ordination managed? How were they exfiltrated? Within the group, was there a cadre and peripherals (disposables?).

You can tell a totalitarian government by how they behave. Biden’s lot are behaving like totalitarians. Which means they will be going all out to steal 2022 and 2024, since they dare not do otherwise.
And as with all of this stuff…you read it here first, or at least you did on Old Cat. Everything we’ve talked about is true: stolen election, Antifa, Hunter Biden, Hillary, the Wussian scam, the whole thing. It just keeps on dribbling out slowly.
and the supposed “bombs” at the DNC and RNC the night of January 5, 2021!!!!!
I doubt V’Landys cares that much, either.

I’m aware it has been known for some time that there was a great amount of skulduggery; what I have not read previously is such a detailed ‘observational analysis,’ especially the identification and groupings of active participants.

Is Antifa really that well trained and co-ordinated though? I wouldn’t be surprised if a number of them were roped in to act as extras, but I’m sceptical they were the cadre. I don’t have any contradictory evidence, but …
Yes things took a very nasty turn in 2020. People actually having a say and effecting real change in the USA and Britain was too much for the marxist-globalist establishment.
I can imagine that perps with long-term training and involvement with crowd agitation through the KKK, Weather Underground, Black Panthers, Occupy, BLM, G20 window smashers, etc, slipped on a hoodie and hitched onto the Antifa wagon… and kept straight on to doing dirty deeds for the DNC.
“About 200 or so Antifa were there, including of course John Sullivan – who got into trouble trying to sell the footage he had taken.”
Didn’t Sullivan sell some of his “footage” to “our ABC”? So, our taxes have helped fund an Antifa operative on January 6.

So called NGO’s and Not-for-Profit schemozzles are filth.
The senior managers of NGOs and not for profits seem to do very well financially, while often relying on volunteer or poorly paid workers.
If they were not mostly havens of lefty thought, they might have come under pressure because of this exploitation.
It’s not beyond reasonable speculation that the FBI tipped them off to which private bandwidth would not be being listened too, as well. That is, if they were not out-and-out FBI black hats.
At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, I’m wondering if Antefa themselves were used as a convenient cover? (Again, I don’t have anything to support that, but if there were 226 operatives there and actively involved, that’s a sh!tload of planning, training, and co-ordination to undertake. Maybe some of our ex military officers could tell us how easy it is to lead that number of people?).
Blessèd are the cheese graters. For they shall inherit the mornay.
But you knew that.
Muddy – Yep. They’ve even been getting weapons training from someone. Hamas or ISIS or whatnot. It’s been reported but I can’t recall who right now. They’d worked out that the Right has about 300 million firearms in the US and the Left needed to counter that somehow. It was amusing.
There’ve been plenty of observations and video of the coordinators at the various riots in the right wing blogosphere. No interest from the Feds for some mysterious reason.
As for confirmation of Sullivan’s brother’s allegations from a week or so after the Capitol protest – it’s fun that this stuff is even coming out given the Dems’ stacked partisan Congressional investigation is going on right now.

The right of pensioners and the unemployed to receive social security via cheque is not a top ten issue for me.
The major reason for pushback was people with a cash job collecting the dole.
Simple explanation .. time & money .. processing, printing ect all required time & lotza staff so the money side was computerised cut out lotza paper and easily cross-checked with other gummint depts .. especially ATO ….. Forerunner for computerizing claims instead of being physically lodged ..
allows CentreLink to spend more time chasing, what it claims are, cheats than bothering with legitimate customers who have the cheek to physically turn up at offices expecting service ..
No deep thinking plan involved ( after all, it is gummint!) just a bit of keeping the claimants out of sight .. if not mind .. LOL!

I think it was Salvatore who posted something about his experiences with a NFP/NGO which he hid under the discreet pseudonym of “Ockspham”.
If he’a around he may wish to corroborate.
“Is Antifa really that well trained and co-ordinated though?”
Yes….read Andy Ngo’s book Unmasked. Ngo is an expert on Antifa in the USA, he’s been chronicling them for five years and he’s been warning about their activities for at least three years…they ramped up the violence after Trump was elected and it hasn’t subsided. Antifa in the USA are very well organised, they’re very cashed up and they are very well armed. Also….critically…the MSM in the US run cover for them and their violence.

From recent reporting, the FBI had informers within the Proud Boys. As a large organisation, they would have the skills and people to run the “insurrection”.

That was Monday, and not like what what happened in Geelong on Tuesday.
It’s was the ‘silent’ blue ‘explosion’ followed by a blackout that also happened in another region years ago, that no one’s offered a reasonable explanation for that interests those who’ve witnessed it.
Sorry, it wasn’t behind a paywall this morning when I was told about it, so I can’t find more detail on it yet –
‘Not a meteor’: Experts baffled at Geelong flying object
A meteor has been ruled out as the unidentified flying object that preceded a bright flash and blackout in Geelong on Tuesday night, as the mystery deepens.

It’s an odd fact of DanAn’s personal history that he didn’t grow up (entirely) in Wangaratta. The family moved there when he was ~11. His father was only 22 (if that) when he was born; that’s unusual as well. I’d say there’s a lot of personal history there that we never hear about – and probably never will.
One question answered, though, what are Dan’s personal intellectual interests? What sort of books does he like to read?
Answer: none.
Apparently his only interest outside politics is golf.
In present times I oft revert to those years in the ’50s when I sang with gusto those old hymns which today come to me so often.

The WA wheat harvest is nearly ready and once again there are no interstate workers or backpackers available to do the heavy lifting. Situation is critical, and despite offering record wages, very few unemployed want to actually work for a living.
Wheatgrowers in most of the vast WA wheatbelt are expecting record yields and rising prices but there is an underlying fear that some crops will be left to rot due to lack of workers.
Looks like I will be out on the chaser bin again this year, despite advancing age and limited skills.

fucking glad to see the useless fkg cities will starve to death because of their fkg uselessness.
Pedro,
Think of the bright side losing some of the harvest. At least there will be less wars in the middle east.
Why?
Less (extremely) high gluten Australian wheat consumed. Consequently much less bloating and constipation, which therefore much less angry bloated and constipated men.
My theory is that a chart will clearly show Australian wheat exports to the Mideast gaining ground towards the late 60s and extremism correlating with increasing Australian wheat consumption in the region.
Rex Anger agrees with me. 🙂
what do you think bawwie???
Umm, five degrees below zero of frost clobbered the wheatbelt fairly badly, some lost the lot.
jc
what drugs are you fkn consuming???
30+ million tonnes of highly toxic gluten laden WA wheat should do wonders for culling the herd.
Bloated and constipated Arabs are not allowed across the Australia (or WA) border, so minimal risk there.
Rex Anger agrees with me. ?
I do?
I just traffick the stuff, mate.
It’s not for me to wax lyrical about the stuff.
And anyway, just because your innards are more finely tuned and hypersensitive than a Japanese precision machine tool, doesn’t mean that everyone else’s is.
Arabs are just angry people. You could feed them solely on a diet of bromide-fortified hommus, ketamine, tofu and kale. And you’d not do a single thing to calm the place down.

what you say Bawwie????
But surely feeding them enormous amounts of liquid rape juice cancels out the death gluten?
Or do they bind up then explosively and unpredictably void?
