Not any good underground Rex. So never used one.

I would add to the definition of hayshed, where I come from possibly one or two sides may have Lysaght Custom Orb on the sides as well as the roof.
Three sides makes it a machinery shed.
Three sides and an enclosed end with a cold water tap makes it a new land farmer’s starter home.

Barns are found in stuff we read, about farms in Britain, America or Europe.

I notice that kit-built sheds around the hobby farm/treechange blocks areas, sometimes have a red American style ‘barn’ with high centre aisle and a skillion roof either side, or a two-pitched gambrel roof/dutch barn roof as was briefly fashionable for houses in 1972.
What makes it a barn is that its fully enclosed, end doors and isn’t a shearing shed.

There has been much commentary on the Rittenhouse case and how the “star witness” for the Prosecution has pretty much stuffed any chance of a conviction. The case has been all over social/MSM since the day it happened.

It now appears that Rittenhouse is completely innocent, but ANTIFA will riot anyway.

Riddle me this. Why haven’t I heard any clips or seen a single article suggesting that the “star witness” himself be charged with “attempted murder”? I mean, he’s run at Rittenhouse with a loaded gun, and looking at the evidence, it appears that Rittenhouse would have certainly been as dead as a Dodo if he hadn’t fired first.

It’s very strange that even the big name conservative commentators haven’t mentioned this. Perhaps they have, but I missed it.

Didn’t need a court case or the suddenly ‘revealed ‘ FBI footage for that.

The raw footage taken at Kenosha at the time alone was sufficient.

November 10, 2021 3:28 pm

The “star witness” allegedly told his room mate that his only regret was that he “didn’t get a chance to unload his entire chamber into Rittenhouse”.

If that’s not attempted murder, I have no idea what is.

Instead, this dude wanted a $10 million payout from Kenosha City for his injuries (Rittenhouse blew his arm off).

Armadillo
Armadillo
November 10, 2021 3:32 pm

The only thing I can think of is that it was fake prosecution in the first place. They actually wanted the “star witness” in the box so they could get him to admit.

It would be an utterly insane theory, but you have to admit, the Prosecution case was so absolutely botched that it’s hard to draw any other conclusion.

As a bonus, the unmistakable innocence of Rittenhouse might avoid any future riots.

Somewhere in the WH Biden will be standing hands up and completely still as he has been for over an hour, in his brain there will be that blue circle you see that goes round and round tracing over itself when your computer is stuck.

He will have the podium wheeled in front of him with the height adjusted so it looks like he is holding it, a makeshift wall and White House logo erected behind him, a couple of flags, rows of seats in front, and the press corp herded in. One of Biden’s handlers will put some paper on the podium and promise him an ice cream if he does ‘his talking thing’.

And when the flames start taking hold in a few towns where Antifa is fighting racism, Biden will demand that President Bush denounce white supremacists.

But not so coherently.

Pleasant sight a few days ago on an inlet on the side of the lake, as I went past on the bike path: two swans and four fluffy grey goslings. Which means the swans had their nest in the mangroves nearby – a nice new occurrence.

Goes further. The bail was set extremely high for a self defence case where the kid handed himself in – the Rittenhouse family could not afford anywhere near that. The usual crowd-funding agencies DID NOT ALLOW public donations to get the bail. In fact when it looked that the targets would be gained relatively easily, the agencies closed the crowdfunding and returned the donations. Eventually the bond was raised via the #FightBack Foundation… but donors were doxed and made to pay!

Not sure about that. Antifa operates within the very limits of US Criminal Law. As an organisation they have been extremely careful to not escalate beyond any position that would suddenly strip them of any entitlement to the usual rights and privileges afforded to the average person.

This is, in fact, as much a weapon as the molotovs and slogans and bricks- They use the provisions and legal system of the ancién regime to destroy it through its tolerance. Thus showing their future subjects their power and ‘untouchability…’

Strengthened privacy protections
On 26 November 2018, the Australian Parliament passed laws to further strengthen the privacy and security protections within My Health Record.

The laws prohibit the release of health information in a person’s My Health Record to law enforcement agencies and government agencies without their express consent or a court order. These laws also prohibit access to a record by anyone for insurance or employment purposes.

There are also increased penalties for misuse of information. Harsher fines and penalties will now apply for inappropriate or unauthorised use of information in a My Health Record. Civil fines have increased to a maximum of $333,000, with criminal penalties including up to 5 years’ jail time.

It won’t be the My Health records they’ve accessed but the GP’s own files.

As far as I can see they don’t require a warrant to enter the premises and order people about whilst there, nor or to access the files, although that particular matter is certainly worth a challenge. Being Victoria though…

the right should never underestimate them.

Cassie – The Right understands them very well. There are several hundred million firearms in private hands in the US, most of which are legally owned by righties. Who are well trained, and who have a good appreciation of their opposition. But they are based heavily on Christianity and cannot therefore take action without legal basis.

This was so at the time of Ft Sumter. When that event occurred the Christians were able to volunteer for the Union and Confederate Armies based on their consciences and the precepts outlined in the Bible. The Left in the 21stC is acutely aware of this, and so have been skirting the red line with exquisite care. In Rittenhouse’s case they overstepped, and had the shit shot out of them. They’re now trying to pervert justice to take revenge on the poor kid. But he is a kid, and the legions of the Right are not – many millions of them are ex-service personnel and quite well trained in all the martial arts.

NSW court rejects exemption from vax mandate on religious grounds.

This in fact really disturbing.

Religious beliefs are profound and are the real guide to moral behaviour. Even people who are not religious hold certain things to be ‘truths’ they are powerless to subvert. The value of human life, for instance. It is not OK to grab some homeless guy who will not be missed and kill him in his sleep – he was asleep for the act so no problem there, he would be dead and therefore beyond being aggrieved so no problem there, and if no one knows or misses him there is no problem there. No, people accept he is entitled to his life.

Beliefs (religious or otherwise) make us human. Law us much less important. Imagine what a dead creature a person would be if just the law was their guiding strar – with their morals coalescing with each new law, evaporating with every repeal, and flicking from one state to the next with every amendment.

I would wager most people obey the law in accordance with their beliefs, not because they will be arrested if they don’t. I don’t shoplift because I believe it wrong – a wrong against the people who own the shop and provide the service. Not because a law says so. I stand on the bus when an elderly dear gets on not because there are stickers that say so, bit because I see a person who would benefit from the seat.

When laws are passed what values are they based on? How do we decide a law must be changed?

I will bet there is a ridiculous outdated law that no one realises is still on the books that says you cannot pour turpentine onto a judges silly wig and silly robe, set fire to them, and fire them from a trebuchet gigantic pits filled with lego brinks. See how perverse the outcomes are if you obey law but have no heart?

Does not apply to bottlos – coz “essential service”

Not yet known is:
When the public information will be released (i.e. posted on Qld Health website & so on)
Whether the ‘no admittance to unvaxxed’ will apply to accommodation guests.
Whether the ‘no admittance to unvaxxed’ will apply to those collecting takeaway food.

Today:
“Authorised Officers” arrive & seize files.
– Do not identify themselves on entry of premises
– Do not serve docs authorising the action
[…]

Amongst those powers was that anyone could lodge a “suspicion” of an animal not being treated well or not being “registered” to the residence the complaint was lodged against and on that lodgement anyone could be deputised to raid the property, including, cars, boats etc (more searching powers than police had), and the owner of the property didn’t have to be informed first or present.

So yeah, if you had a grudge against someone you could rifle through their everything without them knowing, simply by being “deputised” to do so.

It was Stasi 9.9 shit.

It was stopped by dedicated freedom & justice loving people, who pro-Govt Agenda propagandists get paid to smear as ‘conspiracy theorists’ and worse.

Those decades of smearing worked and now we have laws nearly as bad, that combined with all the other Govt overreach has created this totalitarian state we now live in.

They may have told him they were.
Or they may have been already known to him as authorised officers, from a past event.
There’s no real way of knowing.

When confronted by an assertive public service serpent with zero people skills, who forcefully ejaculates at you: “I’m an authorised officer under the [ sounds like it covers your industry] Act & I’m here to seize your stuff”…. most people are unsure of themselves.
(unless it isn’t their first rodeo)

Fast train concept plan linking Perth to WA’s regions presented to state planners
The “rapid rail network” concept, which would stretch from Geraldton to Esperance with stops in major cities and small regional towns, has been submitted to Infrastructure WA by former PR executive, teacher at Edith Cowan University and self-declared “railway obsessive” Kevin McQuoid.

Under the plan, the trains able to travel up to 180 kilometres per hour could deliver passengers from Bunbury to Perth in under an hour along the Forrest Highway corridor.

Ignore the title of the article.. its done to not enough staff/facilities.
In a new record, ambulances spent more than 5,000 hours waiting to unload patients at emergency departments last month, according to data published by St John WA.

The state government has blamed the crisis on a combination of factors, including what it says is an increase in the number of people presenting with mental health issues.

“We are under a lot of pressure, and every health jurisdiction in Australia is feeling that pressure as well,” the state’s Health Minister Roger Cook said.

And to finish up..

I think Rittenhouse did well in the situation once it deteriorated into a free for all. Four guys confronted him. 2 of them are dead, 1 was severly wounded and the other (the flying kick guy) peed off out of there when the blood started to flow out of the severly wounded guy. He then walked out of the riot without being further assaulted.

You can argue that he shouldn’t of been there in the first place but once confronted he won the Hunger Games.

I find some people here are implying a left /right confrontation in the US would be a walk in the park for the Right. This is complete hubris.

And when people realise this they will vote for a Trump Type, and hope that they get a Lucius Quinctius Cincinatus. Unfortunately there are none of his type anywhere these days. Honour is dead. It’ll be Obama [the great unifier!] dictator for life more than likely!

Brett and Heather recommend vitamin D as a Covid fighter, free from the sun! Of course that clashes with our skin culture culture.

The government should be advocating vitamin D status checks because it does play an important role in immunology. They won’t do that because it will distract from the vax initiative. Vitamin D certainly helps, and UV rays kill the bug, but we must also make sure our magnesium status is good because it is an essential cofactor for Vitamin D function and repeated studies find widespread deficiency. So if you’re stuffing yourself full of D but not Mg think again.

It is a terrible argument. He was defending his own neighbourhood from a violent mob of convicted child abusers, wife beaters and rapists who wanted to burn down & blow up a service station, whilst the cops did nothing.

He should get a medal. His living attacker pointed a gun at him THEN Kyle aimed and shot the attacker (admitted by the attacker in court!), the attacker should get a charge of affray or the equivalent, as well as the US named “felon in possession of a firearm” or equivalent.

Not our Lucy… but the Roman one – this one:

Cincinnatus was a conservative opponent in support of the rights of the plebeians (the common citizens) who fell into poverty because of his son’s violent opposition to their desire for a written code of equally enforced laws. Despite his old age, he worked his own small farm until an invasion prompted his fellow citizens to call for his leadership. He came from his plough to assume complete control over the state but, upon achieving a swift victory, relinquished his power and its perquisites and returned to his farm. His success and immediate resignation of his near-absolute authority with the end of this crisis (traditionally dated to 458 BC) has often been cited as an example of outstanding leadership, service to the greater good, civic virtue, humility, and modesty.

Correct JC and many observers and analysts of Antifa, BLM and other far-left groups say exactly the same thing. Antifa have been very successful with their activities in Seattle and particularly Portland. There’s also this myth that far-left groups like Antifa are anti-gun. They’re not.

Only as far as they’d like the other side disarmed.

I also disagree vehemently with any idea that they are not centrally co-ordinated. Individual cells may conduct their own planning and actions, but the logistics on display in every Dem-run city in the US that burned in 2020 demonstrates that any claim of them being decentralised and ‘headless’ is disingenuous propaganda.

(Unless there is a provision for the definition of anarchism that allows for executive power hierarchies and large scale co-ordination structures, so long as they are not called a ‘government?’)

Scuttlebutt for WA is that despite some frost losses out Merridin way, they are expecting a record one this season.

Since CBH decided to change rail hauliers, they lost about 2 weeks per port while the new lot tried to sort themselves out. There are now 3-4 trains into Kwinana on a daily basis, and that will likely persist for the time being.

Much as Death Gluten is awesome, I will not miss getting it up my nose, nor the wind tunnel that is the CBH discharge grid when the weather turns…

People like Ngo and Smith, both of whom have infiltrated Antifa, argue they operate like ISIS cells. Many in the upper ranks of Antifa , who are more often than not elites and professionals, don’t get their hands dirty, instead they prey on and use the disaffected, the homeless and the impoverished who haunt the streets of cities like Portland, Seattle and San Francisco to do their dirty work. Antifa are quite sophisticated and of course they know that they have the MSM to run cover for them……the MSM love to benignly paint them as “anti-fascist”…….one CNN correspondent last year compared Antifa to the men who landed on the beaches of Normandy in 1944….an obscene comparison.

It will be interesting seeing what the AMA has to say about it.

Kung Flu has exposed the hollowness of many organisations in Australia.

Unions (including the AMA) have stood silent while their members have been oppressed.

Anti-GMO campaigners have stood silent while GM “vaccines” have been forced on the population.

The courts have tied themselves in knots to avoid hard decisions.

“Civil liberties” organisations have not raised a squeak as much of the population has been placed under hose arrest without even the pretence of judicial review.

I could go on, but perhaps others might wish to add their own examples?
