Unvaccinated people have to suffer today. but it’s a material suffering. Sick with worry about tomorrow about income and what we can do, our kids future. But our long term health is not on our minds.
Vaccinated people will have to worry more tomorrow. When an individual thinks “I’m sick of this, I’m not taking anymore of this shit”, they’ll not only have to worry about all of the above, but they’ll soon have the entire apparatus telling them: Wait! If you stop taking the drug now you risk many complications, and we won’t treat you for the complications!
Now it’s likely that they’ll be lying, like a drug dealer does to their addicts: “going cold turkey will kill you man, you need to wean yourself off, here have a free one…”, but maybe not.
That’s a worry we won’t have and I’m happy about that.
Is there any chance claims of covid in Europe in 2019 is intended to take the spotlight off China?
I thought it was a matter of fact that all the early 2020 outbreaks in Europe could be traced to people who had recently arrived from China.
Shit Towns of Australia
Dandenong is known for its ‘culture’, which is a quaint euphemism for violent crime, drugs, drunks, gangs, hoons and housos. The suburb is also famous for its diversity: in the same street you could eat Afghani, Indian, Albanian, Chinese or African food; buy some counterfeit clothing, a rug or a Wiggles-branded knuckleduster; or get st*bbed with a knife, screwdriver or a crudely fashioned shank. The variety is endless! In fact, Dandenong is so ethnically diverse that One Nation voters and Queenslanders have been known to spontaneously combust upon setting foot there.
Widely considered to be the worst bit of Melbourne (a bold claim for a city that also contains Frankston and Cranbourne), Dandenong is somehow worse than its awful reputation. Popular pastimes include ram-raiding pharmacies, assaulting the elderly and a spot of recreational arson. If that’s all a bit hectic for you then you could always wind down by visiting a makeshift brothel in a tent in a park.
Loitering menacingly on the outskirts of Melbourne, Dandenong is in many ways a forgotten suburb, cut off from the city by shit public transport connections. Despite this, most Melburnians would argue that it’s still too close and would be quite happy for all roads leading in and out of ‘the Nong’ to be ripped up and replaced with some sort of wall or moat. If you must visit, we suggest you pass through like a dodgy vindaloo.

pointed this out to my son a couple of years ago when their inverter kept shutting off and sending emails. to let them know.
he called me an anti-vaxxer … wait. no. that was another time
he called me a climate change denier
the inverter was curtailing itself on high volts . Cant remember what the limit is 253V or something like that. You can set it in most inverters and you could I suppose, set it really high but that might mess with yr telly’s power supply.
My solar was doing the same thing.
Local volts was punching over 260V, I wonder just how high the volts got at transformer end.
damned solar was off more than it was on.
Anyway, rang the supply people and they fobbed me off.
So I logged data up the internets via modbus from the inverter itself
Then I sent the logs to them and quoted from the Rule/Regulation Book
They ended up sending a truck around and swapped us onto a different phase.
sun is blazing today
just had a peek

Sorry to read this, but people of principle have suffered from the actions of evil, craven, cowardly kunts throughout written history. You won’t be the last.
As an aside, I left my ex-employer in similarly acrimonious circumstances, but for different principles. A great opportunity… plenty to do and learn when one doesn’t have to lick the arse of the stinking corporate gargoyles.
Respect.
Still constant with a Sept 2019 lab leak and competitors at Wuhan Military games brining it back.
How useless is that?
Either runaway power production or Sweet Diddly Squat.
That is no way to run a home power supply, let alone a grid.
No wonder there is a grid connection- Overcharging even a large and resilient battery for 8 hours would quickly lead to pyrotechnics. The only escape is into the nearest substation.
Still, I can now see a nice entry-level technical job in the future employment mix- The Solar-wallah.
Literally, a fellow who winds and unwinds covers on solar panels to keep supply regulated and batteries from going Boom! during the day.
Much more reliable power delivery than the inverter’s automation can provide. 🙂
Neilson , I read your victory comments upthread. Let me give you some advice. Don’t do a victory lap with a javelin having out your chest as it’s a terrible look. Funny, but terrible.
Doc
If you’re not going to revise your comment then I strongly advise never to talk about stats here again. And as for the thought leader enough said.
You ignoramuses are saying there is statistical significance in a tested population of 43,651. 287 had covid without a vax and 409 had convid with the vax.
This is correct, right? And what I was alluding all fucking evening was that you couldn’t make any determination from these numbers?
Why?
What was the fucking result for the vast bulk… that is 43,651 – ( 287+ 409)=42, 955.
On top of this Dover’s own except says that there’s a strong belief the 409 had covid prior to the vax.
I can’t believe a PhD in math supposedly, a self appointed thought leader and a pedant with a javelin in his chest are arguing any of this without asking the most basic question of all. What happened to the 42,955.

I forgot to mention the other day that I had a visit from two authorised officers (women) on Thursday. I was at the end of my Zoom meeting and they waited patiently outside to see my face.
After almost 10 days the results are in: four unjabbed and two jabbed members of my family have tested negative twice (also checked by the rapid antigen test for the two jabbed). The eldest’s boyfriend’s family – two people out of four (all jabbed) have tested positive, one with symptoms. I still think that he gave me the WuFlu, but it’s impossible to prove.
Wife and the oldest are free to leave the isolation today.

I wonder if the Machiavellian swine who infest our Brahmin Class have worked out yet that when they reduce the timeframe for boosters, it just drops more people into the ‘unvaccinated’ category, and they just may get a little cranky about this?

I’d bet that he won’t face financial hardship in his upcoming retirement.
China is about to host the Winter Olympics.
Best not to imagine…anything. Think happy thoughts instead.
Yes. And we’re right. Because it’s a binomial distribution so we have information about the standard deviation. And since you couldn’t tell a Bin(N,p) distribution from a hole in the road your opinion is worthless.
The only way out of this absolute insanity against a virus with a 99% recovery rate is if the majority of those who comply refuse to comply with booster shots.
Or via an Act of God.
I can’t believe you’re arguing this, doc. We have zero information on the 42,955 and you believe that without that information those tiny values are statistically significant. Hand over your degree as it’s worthless.
I know it’s hard for you as you could be in terminal decline. What approval would be given for a medical trial where there are two expressed values of 409 and 287 and the Pharma company remained silent on the 42, 955 offering no information on their result?

You’re talking about Eraquell pellets, right?
Correct.
Regarding all of the Pell stuff and funds being sent from the Vatican to restore a gate, I still like CL’s connection. Let’s remember the latin word for gate is very close to the word for Cardinal:
The word cardinal goes back to the Latin adjective cardinalis, which meant “serving as a hinge.” The root of this word is the noun cardo, meaning “hinge.” Since a hinge is the device on which a door turns, cardo came to mean “something on which a development turns” or “something very important.”
I wonder if they told the new bloke that his job requirements included signing the orders for the transfer of the unvaxxed to the detention camps. His predecessor, who very quickly walked away from the job, was probably aware of the fate of Adolf Eichmann.
JC, look at it this way. There is a species of animal, where the issue is whether the males are bigger than the females. We measure a female as ninety cm long and a male as 110 cm long. The average is 100 cm, the female is 10cm below the average and the male is 10 longer than the average. The question is, is the 20 cm difference a lot, or hardly anything? This is the core issue. Your diversion about the small fraction involved and what happened to the rest is irrelevant. The question is, is that 20cm difference a lot or not much at all?
The only way to answer it is to find out how much variation there is between different animals. You could try to estimate this using only the two numbers you have, which simply tells you that a 20 cm difference has happened. You might conclude from this that variation of about 20 cm might
happen all the time.
Now suppose you had good reason to believe that the standard deviation for both males and females was in fact only a centimetre. Then this information is enough to be virtually certain that males are bigger than females.
I hope you know what a standard deviation is, it’s hard to estimate the extent of your ignorance. But if you do, then you should surely see that knowledge of the standard deviation can make all the difference.
Since the distribution of the combined data and the two separated cases are all binomial, we do have information about the standard deviation. For a Bin(N,p) distribution, it’s the square root of N p (1-p). Since p is small, this is pretty much the square root of the mean. Using your combined data, this is the square root of the average of the two counts, or roughly ?350 which is about 18.7. The difference between the separate counts is over 100. This is over 5 sigma. In other words a lot.
I suspect your response will show a complete failure to understand my argument. Surprise me.
Was Dover’s system replacing my square root sign with a question mark.

Doc
I’m happy to answer your question but first answer mine as I asked first.
To remind you, the study group was 43,651.
Additionally, on a specific and qualitative side (by paraphrasing Dover’s excerpt ) there is a strong indication that the 409
participants who tested positive were likely positive before the trial.
Leave your analogy aside and answer this question.
We have zero information on the 42,955
The test and control groups were said to total 43,651.
We’re told that 409 of the test group and 287 of the control group got covid during the period at issue.
Are you accusing Pfizer of hiding positive covid tests for some of the control group, or neglecting to check on the control group’s covid outcomes? What would be their motive for doing that?
If you aren’t accusing Pfizer of understating the covid cases among the control group, what possible information do you want that would cast doubt on the conclusion dover’s asserting?
Their guys in Pfizer, Roche and Merck’s aren’t telling them what to do either.
And no Liberal party backroom $$$ involved so no guidance from them.
Whatever will the mickey mouse backwater TGA do without their ‘stakeholders’ guidance!?
Sure, there’s any number of ways it could all go wrong. If we took blocks of 100 people coming through a door and counted the number of them with blue eyes, when we know there’s two million ppl behind the door and exactly half have blue eyes, then we would usually assume Bin(100,0.5). Then the mean is 50 and the standard deviation 5. So there aren’t enough ppl in the whole shebang for a score of 100 or of zero to ever occur. Either would be about ten sigma.
Unless all the blue eyed ppl came first, when we’d get nearly all scores of 100 until they were finished, whereupon we’d get only scores of zero for nearly all the rest.
Bummer.
So yes, check your assumptions.
My experience of statisticians, based on working with some and having been to stats conferences, is that they’re like the little girl with a curl in the middle of her forehead. When they’re good they’re very, very good, and when they’re bad, they’re horrid. The good ones are a tiny minority and the bad ones write text books.
I was being ‘generous’ to the Chinese.
I would not be at all surprised if it was deliberate seeding of the competitors, who would be orders of magnitude fitter than the general population and therefore make great typhoid marys as it would not affect them so much that they would need hospitalisation.
I thought they were all tested before being enjabbened, and therefore covid negative. Being a pshrink you would understand the people taking part and got covid would be primed to say “but I already had it before I was enjabbened”, whether they were jabbed with the real or placebo
Additionally, on a specific and qualitative side (by paraphrasing Dover’s excerpt ) there is a strong indication that the 409
participants who tested positive were likely positive before the trial.
Alas, no.
Indeed, the original Pfizer trial demonstrated a statistically significant 40% increase in ‘suspected COVID’, with 409 cases in the vaccination arm in the first week of the trial, compared with 287 in the placebo arm.[2] Other publications have omitted mention of the period immediately after vaccination.[3] [4] There is substantial anecdotal evidence of people who had tested negative prior to vaccination, becoming infected shortly afterwards, invariably attributed to exposure just before vaccination.[5] Others have raised concerns about this.[6]”
The sentence is saying that someone “invariably attributed” those cases to pre-vaxx exposure. If it’s not the researchers who “invariably attributed” it, who was it? That is, the sentence is saying that those people were excluded (by the researchers) from the vaxx/infected group, not that they were included. Maybe excluding them was correct, but even that wouldn’t in any way detract from dover’s point.
Thanks Rosie… I can probably hold out till early 2022 for Novavax as my work is getting mandated in tranches. Only 75 in first tranche (out of 3,000) gone so far and I’m likely to be in one of the last groups…

This is the reddest of red herrings, it really is. Suppose you had two machines making widgets. One has one defective widget in every 100,000. The other has one defective widget in every 200,000. If you could only replace one machine with a new machine guaranteed to produce not more than one defective widget in a million, which one would you replace? Does the fact that there is nothing wrong with 99,999 widgets in the first machine convince you there’s no difference between the first two machines?
It’s a Bin(26,000, p) situation with p being less than 0.02. So yes, 99.8+% of the cases aren’t relevant.

Like Tom this morning I wandered into the old Open Thread and left some comments about Chris Wallace to die there – but all is not lost, here’s a summary:
Powerline reported that (at last) Chris Wallace is leaving Fox News – with a further twist that he’s going to CNN! The man himself tweeted something about doing more stuff of interest, and wait for it, “beyond politics”. Yeah, right.
(Tucker’s Originals has got to him)
Gateway Pundit confirms the above, and quotes Wallace as saying he’s honoured to be working with Jeff Zucker at the wonderful CNN.
(That confirms what we thought about his character)
Short farewell video by Wallace at FoxNews.com which at least compliments them on allowing him to do whatever he liked without interference.
(Doesn’t want to burn bridges entirely!)
It’ll be a decade before we see the real data out of Pfizer clinical trials that all this is based on.
When we finally do it’ll be the same as always: they withheld the bad stuff, the agencies took their word for it…
In 2009 The UK and Australia – the TGA, approved Tamiflu as the pandemic drug of choice for Swineflu based on the very best data available.
That was it : a “manufacturer-authored, pooled analysis of 10 manufacturer-funded trials, 8 of which were unpublished.”
The results of which, as it turned out five years of hard work later, were lies.
The TGA does not have access to the primary data for the Covid vaccines either.
No sensible person can read this summary of investigation from the last ‘pandemic’ emergency drug and say…yeah, on balance I’m going to trust the company and authorities with this experimental vaccine:
Hello?
Hello?
*tap* *tap*
*whining electronic feedback*
It this thing on?
Whoa. There ya go.
These big pharma vaccine companies have been given carte blanche in the TGA system while other pharma, vet etc companies have to go through the onerous 7+ year process of providing data and results from all clinical trial stages.
Many governments have indemnified themselves and these big pharma vax companies. Some other countries have not been so gracious which has resulted in Big Pharma not selling their vax snake oil in those countries. Quick everyone, get your booster shots.
Seriously, what would the chances of that happening be? They’ve gone to the whole effort of establishing a randomized control trial, they collect and assign participants to the trial and placebo group, they test all of them for COVID just before they are given either the vax or placebo, and then when they proceed through the trial we’re meant to believe that something happened during this process that would lead to a higher amount of COVID cases during the first week in the trial group than the placebo group? I don’t think so.

Statistically, the only way it happens if they were enrolled in tranches, whole tranches were assigned control or active medicine group, and there was some coincidental differences in time or place of enrolment that meant one or more tranches were unusual.
The thing is, they are actually telling us what they’re doing. You just have to listen to Klaus Schwab et al.
It’s possible.
They might have enrolled a whole bunch of people from outside a brothel and enrolled them all in the active medicine group.
So many understand up here, that this is the globalists at work, that I suggest some here holding onto the line that it’s the pollies incompetence or the inability to back out without admitting fault, that you are in denial.
Most people at the rallies I go to talk as if it’s a given, and most in the crowds agree.
It’s a Global socialist coup d’etat. It has been all along. But not just since the start of Covid, but since way back, when we discovered we’d never be able to build a dam, clear our farming land, use our own coal, have our own industries…..etc.
We have been governed by the UN’s puppets calling themselves the Australian government.
The links are there hiding in plain sight and the history going back to Whitlam is overwhelming, and all since, have been working toward the new world order.
Then Trump came along and was destroying years of work by global socialist, unelected filth like Guterres, and Klaus and Soros and the rest.
An emergency stunt was pulled and that was a false global pandemic.
This is all obvious to most people I am now protesting with.
I would blame age here at the cat, and there still being a belief that there must be some semblance of truth in what the MSM present as news, because of the trusting society they lived in, but most of the people who can see the bleeding obvious are boomers up here , so although many boomers of course have fallen for the bullshit, many haven’t, and we should expect on a right wing blog, everyone should be up with the truth and the bleeding obvious.

“Brothel”.
“Oh yeah, remember to put them in the control group”
“The nuns”?
“No the brothel”
“Got it. Nuns, control group”.
“I give up. Oh well, we can just exclude the lot afterwards”.
Thank you! This clarifies things as the offending sentence (in brackets) is terrible on its own but in the context of the paragraph becomes clearer. The offending statement isn’t referring specifically to the Pfizer study, nor is it a statement of the clinicians/ researches in the Pfizer study. The entire paragraph is from a letter in BJM referring specifically to the problem of negative efficacy in the first few weeks post-first jab. So what the letters writers are saying here is there is substantial anecdotal evidence of these increase in positive cases, whether as indicated in the Pfizer study, the Danish study, the Swedish study, and so on, in the newly first jabbed being ‘explained away’ as pre-vaxx exposure. Nothing more. That makes complete sense of the ‘invariably attributed’ which never made sense in the sentence alone.
Sound familiar?
Fast forward four years:
Oops!
James Bond ‘R’ Us:
A Brisbane electrician will spend Christmas in jail after he was found with a James Bond-like car that could deploy weapons and conceal its licence plates.
Simon John Hickey appeared by audiovisual link in Tweed Heads Local Court on Friday.
He previously pleaded guilty to possessing identity information to commit an indictable offence and possessing a prohibited weapon without permit.
An extra charge of manufacturing a prohibited weapon without a permit was added, to which Hickey pleaded guilty.
Hickey was previously sentenced for the offending, however the aggregate sentence of three years in jail was appealed on severity grounds in the District Court and returned to the Local Court to hear.
Magistrate Annette Sinclair detailed the events from August 28, 2019, where Hickey was found with a drivers licence with his photo and a different name which Queensland licence authorities had no record of.
On examination of the car he was driving, police found a number of caltrops – sometimes known as road spikes – that had been affixed to the car in a way that they could be deployed from inside the vehicle.
Ms Sinclair said an examination of his phone showed photographs of individual caltrops.
The vehicle was also fitted with a device that allowed Hickey to cover his number plate from inside the car, making it more difficult for police to identify the vehicle or the driver.
She said the most serious offence was possession of the caltrops as their deployment could lead to serious injury of other road users.
Defence barrister Ben Barrack told the court his client’s offending was a mistake of law as caltrops were not considered a prohibited weapon in Queensland.
Mr Barrack detailed Hickey’s upbringing which was filled with violence and resulted in symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder.
He said in a previous sentencing assessment report Hickey had focused on his beliefs and rights and tried to minimise his offending, however a newer psychologist’s report showed he had gained insight and become more remorseful.
Ms Sinclair accepted the offending was motivated by self-protection and hyper-vigilance and although he had a record of similar offending there was no level of actual violence.
She said there were special circumstances due to his mental health.
Hickey was sentenced to 18 months in jail with 10 months non-parole back dated to May 13.
He will be eligible for parole on March 12, 2022.

Researchers are still studying whether booster shots will last as long, longer or less than the original dual doses. The original clinical trials for the vaccines didn’t account for waning effectiveness or the need for additional boosters to maintain their efficacy. Therefore, the long-term efficacy of the boosters, and whether there will be the need for another shot, and then another or another, is currently unknown.

On top of this Dover’s own excerpt says that there’s a strong belief the 409 had covid prior to the vax.
Except that that’s not what it says at all. See my comment at 2.55pm.
JC’s conspiracy theory is a very strange one.
Presumably he’s not suggesting that Pfizer’s researchers were deliberately understating the infections in the control group to make Pfizer’s drug look worse.
He does seem to be claiming (by a misreading of dover’ extract) that Pfizer’s researchers were overstating – or at least maximising the figures for – infections in the test group, thus making Pfizer’s drug look worse.
That seems unlikely, but the key point is that (subject to the possibility of some macro-stuffup of the type Arky refers to above*) unless he’s saying that the Pfizer researchers were treating the control group differently to the test group in a way that made the drug look worse (which would be real ABC fact-checker level fantasy), given the number of standard deviations of difference Arky and Dr B calculated, you’d have to work hard on your wrongology to see it making any material difference to the outcome.
* If the argument is that “I don’t like the conclusion so I’m going to assume that it was a stuffup even though dover produced another paper with even more stark results”, well, the World Self-Beclownment Hall of Fame is beckoning.
That is almost Pythonesque.
Maybe a secret anti- vaxxed in the office…
40,000 people waiting to get into QLD to buy homes they haven’t seen but saw online.
‘basically.’
Uh huh. Well, the borders opened this morning so this should pan out as prophecied, right? Aaaaaany day now.
‘the majority of white, anglo saxon Australians are found in Qld.’ Followed by the standard whitey Anzac borrowed schtick.
Tell you what St. Ruth, I’d rather listen to some Czechs, Hungarians and/or Poles who left their shit pits, emigrated and worked their rings off if I wanted to hear about what freedom actually is, rather than an entire tribe of Chinese-built truck driving pub singer tour guides who self-imported into what turned out to be the most oppressive State in the country.
White Anglo Saxon males. Jesus wept. Are wives required to be Anglo as well?
St. Ruth? St. Ruth?
Hello?
To cheer you all up, it’s always a small minority of those predisposed to thought who notice when something is going on. Then they point it out to their friends, who point it out to their friends, and so on, until everyone has noticed. The transmission of even the bleeding obvious takes time. And we’ve started the process. And, credit where it’s due, Struth was one of the first to notice.
Nothing more.
Hmm, so not quite what I thought either. But still zero support for JC’s wrongology.

Clearly, I am in denial.
I’m firmly in the politicians’ desire to save the people painting themselves as Churchills/locking step with each other so as not to look stupid/painting themselves into economically catastrophic corners/already paid for millions of unnecessary vaccines/complete inability and-or refusal to walk it back camp.
The socialist ‘coup d’etat’ concept has been around since Marx and Engels. Must be the longest one ever at 140 years, particularly as by definition coups d’état are done and dusted in a day or so.
devastating, lockdown now!
struth, struth, struth!
I been complaining about commies under the bed since the beginning

KD, you’re a bitchy little girl at times.
Don’t let your emotions run wild and make a fool of you…..ooops, too late.
There are thousands waiting to come to Qld and are now moving up.
I admit, they are silly bastards, because they will not be avoiding the tyranny.
You put a house on the market up here and it is gone very quickly, sometimes within hours.
These are called facts.
And many are being bought online by interstaters.
They will now be moving up just in time for the extra tyranny up here.
But that’s what is happening.
I make the simple and truthful observation that the Anzacs and old Australia was generally white and those were the people that understood what gave them freedom being in the majority up here and that many of those aren’t life long Qlders, but from other states…thousands more coming.
And that these people have had the time to see what the adverse reactions to the jab are.
I made it as least parochial as I could while reporting on demographic and timeline variations that are the plain truth, but nyou had to come in and boo hoo.
You are missing Frank, aren’t you?
I don’t see why we can’t have commies under the bed and stupid politicians.
Why does it have to be one or the other?

What Doc Beaugan said.
You’ve paid a high price for your beliefs, a price far too many wouldn’t pay.
Doc, you were making light of stat conferences you attended. I’d say that you had listened a little you may have learnt something instead of behaving like you were the smartest guy in the room. Frankly, it sounds like someone in a poker game who can’t isn’t aware of the dummy at the table. When that happens, we know it is.
Your analogy about the tall men and short females is thickheaded and here’s why.
If your analogy was reasonable, you’d be saying the following.
We have a sample size of 43,651. We are informed that 287 males are on average x inches shorter than 409 females. ( I reversed it, so I wouldn’t sound sexist :-)). We’re not telling you the relative size of the remaining 42,955 people in the trial. We’re just giving you information just on the 287 + 409.
From the stats, I learnt decades ago, once you decide on the sample you cannot take any shortcuts as it destroys the integrity of the study. That’s basic stats when dealing with sampling. You may have understood this if you had bothered to listen instead of preening.
The idea that covid is more likely for a period immediately after taking the vaccine is preposterous.
Of course it’s salami tactics DBG. Like I said. Been around for 140 years.
But it is NOT a coup d’état, and to use the term for this shit circumstance is not only incorrect, it highlights that people have been reading the true whack-job sites and then repeating phrases they hear without knowing what they mean.
Like toddlers do. Does nothing for credibility, in my own view.
This fella is cooked.
Whoops
We’re confident knowing who it is.
I will ruminate on 40,000 boomers all moving to Queensland at once in the next fortnight whilst watching tasty pieces on their way to and from the beach.
You a bit lonely without Frank, KD?
It would be an emotional time for you, I get that.
And considering you got jabbed as well, it’s probably playing on your mind like JC.
At least you had a reason to get Jabbed, I suppose…..
JC just wanted to go on holidays.
I’ve been right about this from day one, and so has twostix and a few others, yet one of my chief protagonists is probably dead, too stubborn to be told anything from the underclasses.
If you got jabbed, you did the wrong thing, for your own health.
You are a ticking time bomb.
You must come to terms with it, find peace with god, and not explode with emotion at those who haven’t, but also warned you not to take it.
Pleaded with you in fact.
Please do not take the booster.
You can abuse me as much as you like, but I plead with all I know, good people or wankers, do not take the jab, do not take the boosters.
Let’s try to give you ten more years and not four, two, or even less.

Not helpful.
Elon Musk is right about the world’s alarmingly low birth rates
KD it seems to upset you greatly that QLD held out the longest and tens of thousands of Victorians and Sydneysiders are clawing over each other to get here and move into their houses here that they paid insane amounts of money, sight unseen during the long dark winter because of that.
Now they may be wrong to do that, but it’s happening.
The truth is always helpful.
It is no longer about them , but about the people they love.
It should never be about self, but those we love.
You fix what you can before you leave this earth and you get your loved ones in the best position they can be to survive and flourish, and in doing so, you find peace.
And knowing you are most likely going soon, will help you be proactive in these things.
If you do not go for ten years, you will have a better life for being that person anyway.
Reality and truth set you free.
It’s sort of a Christian view of things.
Remember my only son went and got jabbed, such was the peer group pressure.

The formation of the “National Cabinet” last year, from which we have been governed by a secret cabal of the PM and state premiers making rules and agreements without us, was absolutely a coup.
Vile and contemptible. Again, the ratio is delightful.

🙂
Yep. Preceded by and followed by what I might reasonably call microaggressions.
I can see why ppl find Struth irritating; I don’t, but his style gets up some noses. But on the central issue, how our country is being stolen before our eyes, he’s spot on.
Except we know they didn’t have COVID in the first week following the vax or placebo.
It’s so preposterous Pfizer recorded it in their trial results (and its been found in the Danish study mentioned last night, and in a Swedish study). And in case you missed, the statement we’ve been quibbling about wasn’t from the authors of that trial, see my comment at 3.31pm.
I was pretty sure you would miss the point, JC. And you did. You are sloppy in your thinking and you don’t read carefully. I guess it’s who you are.
The poms have done their virtue signalling.
It seems two years of intense virtue signalling when ordered by government, has a tolerance level of two years.

Struth, let me be perfectly honest with you (as opposed to dishonest). I got two jabs and I don’t give a shit. I’m not waltzing around everyday thinking about it. I respect people who have taken the opposite side and I would fight for their rights to do so which is why I joined and donated to the LDP last week. Mandates and the treatment of people who don’t want to be jabbed is fucking appalling.
That said, it’s a personal decision and that’s that.

That whole comment would have to be one of the stupidest things ever posted on the internet, but particularly: We’re not telling you the relative size of the remaining 42,955 people in the trial.
Are you really suggesting that the researchers didn’t follow up all the members of both groups, or that they’re hiding the data on those remaining 42,955? Do you really think that them saying that 409 and 287 were infected in the period in question doesn’t mean that they’re saying that they’d found the rest non-infected during that period?
What do you expect from a nanna killer and conspiracy theorist.
we’ll have to start using Han glyphs
..
They might have been half infected.
Or infected and a half.
Or double secret infected.
I live in flesh city. It is delightful at this time of year. As for those 40,000 boomers moving here, they can FOAD.
That clip is depressing, it highlights how poorly served we are by our political and by extension, journalistic classes, over here.
Wasn’t Klaus Schwab arrested?
“Say Bill, how do we report these 400 vaxxed who got it anyway”?
“Say they’re damned lucky they got the vaccine, unlike those poor double secret infected bastards in the control group”.
Naa, I’m reasonably thorough when I need to be. Thanks for caring though.
Doc, can I just tell you what really doesn’t work. It may work with a peanut gallery but it doesn’t for thoughtful individuals.
Making stupid open ended comments like the last one (as an example of many others) doesn’t work. You need to explain why you think that and believe it to be true. It’s just ad hom without a shred detail. Do what I do, which is abuse idiotic comments but also explain why I think that. It makes one sound humble and thoughtful. Just a little advice going forward. Knowing you though, I’m pretty sure you won’t take this well intentioned free advice.
State premiers and the PM stood down our parliaments, formed a new government that consisted soley of…them, engaged the emergency powers acts then used the cover of the National Cabinet to run Australia in secret like a South American Junta through ‘edicts’, puppet “Chief Health Officers” and doling out favours and special treatment to media and ‘personalities’ to make sure they didn’t get off side, attacked and unpersoned anyone in the establishment who piped up to stop them, and used the police to violently stomp the people when they attempted small revolts against this system.
Coup isn’t a strong enough word for the last 18 months, but it happened and we are living it, and instead of ending, they’re now starting to normalise and cement in this new mode of operation via black letter law.
Neilson
Give it a rest. You have zero idea about pretty much everything. Go catch a reindeer.
A member of my family moved up in 2020, though they already owned one house in qld, they bought another and moved up there full time, very young kids and not boomers though.
that’s on top of the 30,000 that moved last year
Yes JC, but do you deny telling people to stop being little girls and to go and get the jab?
I tell people not to get the jab, but I can’t force them not to. But I have a duty to say out loud that I believe they are incredibly dangerous, in fact lethal…as they have proved to be.
You don’t let your mates drive home from the pub pissed and say, well, that’s his business.
I have a moral obligation to try to stop it happening.
That being said, the jab only kills those that take it and once my opposition to taking it has been registered, it then is completely up to those warned and I’d never stop them.
I believe in free choice, but moral responsibility.
That then brings into question how moral is submitting to tyranny, when doing so will empower the tyrants to discriminate against other people, and may have them imprisoned or killed.
I can’t take the jab while so many others are holding out because I help the tyrants hurt them.
These are the points…….quite simple….that I have been making for nearly two years.
I and twostix have said this is nothing to do with a virus and to do with bringing in a social credit scheme of digital tyranny the likes of which will be horrific.
Oh how they scoffed………
Submitting to this does have moral responsibility questions to ask yourself before complying.
How does your complying affect others?
FMD. I was walking through a tight carpark today and walked straight into a fucking towbar (just below the knee). It hurt like hell’s bitches. I looked down about a hour later and the bruise was so big it looked like I had another knee below the other. I’ve never seen a bruise that big! I went to see the doc who patched it up tightly and reckons it will be bruised for about 5 weeks.
To not ask the question is to answer it?
I know this area has been booming, lots of new people who I assume are reffos from Sydney and maybe Vic. Prices generally still affordable but that won’t last long. Everything you could possibly want a short drive away in Newcastle and Sydney and back in a day if you need to go.
Plus beaches, no traffic, an almost Mediterranean climate.
My kids only live in Sydney because of work. If you could get out, you would.
I’ve said it once I believe as a joke. Lighten up. Horace. Seriously, I couldn’t give a shit if you or anyone else was jabbing up with heroin laced with AZ.
I wonder how that would work? Half heroin and half AZ. Struth, I want to test it on you. Are you in?

I have been stocking up for the coming adblue shortages ….life’s fantastic.
All caused by compliance.
Coming from you, that’s quite funny. You often are, and it’s much to your credit.
I note that your personal attacks on your enemies have been notably reduced in frequency lately. Are you growing up, maturing, do you think? Or has Dover been getting you to simulate it?
Regarding the towbar, was the car mocking you afterwards by having a pair of trucker’s nuts as well? That would be embarrassing.

Mid and North QLD needs to be a little humble though, the maniac new CHO will bring the pressure on up there via contrived ‘outbreaks’ and there is zero immunity to covid karenism up there and that will break out in weird and awful ways at this late stage.
What’s the secret to getting into and out of shopping centres without signing in and getting karened? They don’t know. How to get a reliable supply of petrol without wearing a mask? They don’t know. How do you detect when a ‘lockdown’ is incoming and get the hell outta the LGA radius without getting dobbed in? It’s all skills learned like eastern europeans learned to get around guards and the prison system see. Now north QLD have been sitting pretty and partying like it’s 2019, but at the same time none of them have learned the prisoner skills that others have. Man I’d love to learn from a Victorian hard timer, I bet there’s some excellent skills and techniques that have been honed down there that we’ve never even heard of. Best in the world I’d say.

For the WW2 buffs! a very good 1959 German made version of STALINGRAD .. for its age a great mixing of real footage into the acting sequence(s) makes a very good, no nonsense, movie except for a 5 minute section towards the end where the writer couldn’t help himself and throws in a totally, improbable scenario!
The full title doesn’t do itself any favours either but still an excellent telling of the Battle ot Stalingrad
