I realise that I will be forced to take the booster gangrene shot because I am desperate to visit my daughter in the UK in March.
I’m not going to give up that chance.
I fear that the depth of frustration I feel at being a victim of these amoral, corrupt, whores is disturbing my wellbeing.
I should stand firm like Rick, but my daughter and I are close and who knows what is coming down the line? Another effort like falling onto the spa steps could be final.
I need to get over it and get on. They have beaten us and they don’t even know that I hate them, let alone care.
The only tiny meaningless fightback is to delay until the last possible day.

Christmas parties could spark Omicron wave, authorities warn

The same baseless rubbish* was being incessantly screeched by various politico/meeja imbeciles in NSW last Christmas holiday season, when we were also gifted with a series of last minute pointless petty restrictions by Beryl Gladyschlocklian and Health Hazzard.

The foul obnoxious fascists simply can’t help themselves. I’m also expecting an announcement by Parrothead (probably late this afternoon, evening or tomorrow morning) that the restrictions won’t be lifted. Here’s hoping I’m wrong.

It is frightening how many people can be lured from their rights – that others fought and sacrificed for – by slogans.

We find now that people now accept that your individual freedoms exist so you can voluntarily dedicate yourself to the collective. Holding ideas or living according to your own wits is viewed as being done at the expense of the collective, and an act of selfishness. That use of freedom is no longer seen as legitimate.

How did this happen? Fear. Fear makes people huddle together, and it would seem to work on a psychological level as well the physical.

Funny thing is that the impetus for this new, degraded grasp of freedom is a contradiction, but the fear is able to drown out any voice of dissent within the frightened. It is now widely accepted that the vaccines will not stop you from being infected. They do not flush the bug from your system , or snare the errant proteins in little nets. It merely (supposedly) makes symptoms less severe. And this makes sense, that the benefit of the treatment would be experienced by the person who has received it. Whether a person picks up the virus from someone also vaccinated or unvaccinated makes no difference. The latter is no additional threat.

And yet it is this nonsense, that vaccinated people are only saved by other people having the vaccine in their system.

How the hell is that supposed to work.

But fear keeps that question at bay, even though to ask it is to be freed from fear.

The fascists ruling Vic, Q-land, WAinc and NT especially, will do everything they can to amplify and extend the fear, panic and “crisis” until after the federal election.

It is a matter for the occupier of each premises to exercise judgement on what is appropriate for their premises and the well-being of their staff and customers.
If you want to enter premises where an occupier has chosen to require you to be fully vaccinated, the occupier may ask to see your vaccination evidence. You do not have to show the occupier your vaccination evidence, but if you do not, the occupier may not let you in.

You can refuse to show your papers, and they can kick you out.

Not sure who it was that was affected by the 6month exemption after COVID – if not you, apologies. – but there was some suggestion by someone that this exemption may no longer apply after a PCR.
The official vic COVID site still says that there is immunity for ‘at least’ 6 months after COVID, and exemptions apply for 6 months.
There is an AIR form to fill in and for the doc to sign.
(Keep them form as evidence – don’t leave it with the doc who can inform authorities with electronically – since it takes weeks for other kinds of authorisations to come to pass. )
I suspect that the 6 month exemption will not be around for long because there will be too many people who have had COVID so natural immunity won’t be tolerated, not even for 6 months, given that there are millions of vials in storage to be dispensed-with.

Franx, not sure where you saw that info about the exemption, but this page says:

Most people who have tested positive to COVID-19 can get a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as?they are feeling better (able to return to normal activities) after they have completed 10 days of isolation.?There is no need to provide a negative test or blood test before vaccination.?

People with long COVID symptoms can still get vaccinated and can discuss this with their doctor if they have any questions.

An infection with COVID-19 will provide some natural immunity but it will decrease over time. Vaccination is important to get maximum protection against further COVID-19 infection.

Unless you have been hospitalised for COVID-19, there is no recommended minimum interval between infection and vaccination, and no need to delay your vaccination once you have recovered.

If you were hospitalised for COVID-19, talk to your doctor first. If you received specialised treatments (monoclonal antibodies or convalescent plasma), a 90-day interval is required before getting a COVID-19 vaccination.

Austria is going to fine $25,000/year or 1 year jail if you don’t get the poison injected.

Some resistance being organised to the north:

A group of Polish citizen-intellectuals recently made a public declaration against the encroaching new world order being ushered in through anti-COVID measures. Church Militant’s Martina Moyski tells more about the citizens’ efforts and why their project is named with a nod to the military tribunals following World War II prosecuting those committing crimes against humanity.

Reiner Füllmich, German attorney: “I am convinced that the only way to end this is by the people rising up and telling the authorities that this is the end of the line.”

Polish intellectuals are putting their heads together for the purpose of exposing and prosecuting the perpetrators of suffering and death resulting from government COVID policies. Calling themselves “Nuremberg 2.0,” they are targeting large multinationals in the tech, banking and pharmaceutical fields, who have undertaken an overhaul of our world, destroying the health, wealth and lives of billions of people.

German attorney Reiner Füllmich, who has worked with Robert Kennedy Jr. and Dr. Robert Malone and who was a guest speaker at the project’s inauguration, explains what the group is up against.

Füllmich: “We are dealing with megalomaniac psychopaths and sociopaths who must be stopped. … People worldwide are waking up … even if the mainstream media are trying to hide this.”

The launch of the project comes as tyrannical lockdown measures are raining down on the unvaccinated throughout Europe, with vaccine mandates having befallen even Catholic Poland.

European Union president Ursula von der Leyen, whose husband is said to have ties to a corporation creating cell-based COVID vaccines, is inching toward a trans-European vaccine mandate.

Von der Leyen’s comments quickly got tagged as a violation of the Nuremberg Code — in particular, the clause “the voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential.”

Dr. Jordan Peterson quipped, “Hey, it’s just the Nuremberg Code. Only what we learned from the Nazi atrocities, not least those that were medical.”

For where justice is to be found, Füllmich is clear — it’s not the courts of law, because they are so infiltrated by the other side that there needs to be a whole new judicial system. The Nuremberg 2.0 members underscored that it is a duty to resist authority that threatens the dignity of the human person, the truth and natural laws.

Australia’s drugs regulator, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), has tested a number of imported products labelled as ivermectin and found that they are counterfeit.

The products Iversun-12, Covimectin-12, and Ivilife-12 failed laboratory tests. In a statement the TGA said the findings should “serve as a warning against buying ivermectin products from unverified online sellers”.

“Counterfeit products may contain undeclared and hazardous ingredients that could cause a serious adverse reaction. They may also be contaminated because of a lack of manufacturing and testing standards.”

Gosh, if only there was a simple solution to the dangers presented by counterfeit ivermectin.

Given that -iiuc – the vaccinated with “breakthrough” infections can carry similar viral loads to the unvaccinated and be just as infectious, even though in both instances they can be asymptomatic, perhaps we should just close the hospitals to all non-emergency cases as was done in lockdown. It’s not fair to health workers. Eh, Brad?

American figures…

Headline one for me is the inter-generational misery index: IE, self harms by kids.
We had tripling of medical visits to doctors by teenagers for self-harm in the United States compared to the previous year. What does that mean? That means these are kids putting out cigarettes on their skin, slashing their wrists out of the isolation,” he insisted. “It’s the lockdowns that did this. It’s the isolation. It’s not the virus. The isolation was caused by the grossly wrong public health advice. And this is going to take decades to solve.”
….

We had 650,000 people with cancer on chemotherapy. Half of them skipped their chemo just during the spring of 2020 out of fear. We had 85% of living organ transplants did not get done compared to the previous year. We had two-thirds of cancer screenings did not get done. These people still have cancer.”

I don’t get the griping by people against those who have had the vaccine but are prepared to denounce the tyrannical ambits from politicians, spruikers, spivs, etc.

There seems to be this singular devotion to the image of a dwindling band of ‘purebloods’ making a desperate stand atop some hill. This is the fight. It is the only fight. Everybody else is a sell out.

Romantic – in a ‘Boys Own’ sort of way. Perhaps.

Perhaps their forlorn but glorious last moments will inspire others – woops, most of those others are sell outs, so I am not sure who it is meant to appeal to.

But its not the only battle. Not even one you could expect to win. The numbers are simply against you – if you insist on making it unvaxxed vs vaxxed. There is too much to do. Make all those people who foist this appalling state of affairs upon us pay. It doesn’t have to end at 95% or anything. Let all those smug brown stains on seats in Parliament be your prey. Remind everyone of what they did, of how these ‘leaders’ forced people to get the jab by imposing such terrible choices upon them, playing on their fear for the future, their love of each other, their security, their incomplete knowledge – thanks to the conjurors’ tricks of political leaders, talking heads, and battalions of experts etc.

Different people have made their own choices as to whether to take the vaccine. I have absolutely no problem with this. I have not been vaxxed. I hope I will not have to, but there are some things that I hold dearer to me than looking heroic.

And for all the purity of not being jabbed and arguing against it, there is also a moral cache in being a person who has had the jabs but, rather than deciding that since they have paid for their place to just go along with it, instead stand against the mandates and passports because they don’t have to make that choice: It is a principle.

Also, at the moment there is a residual group of normal old fashioned people who the system must make allowances for. A reminder of what ‘normal’ was. No matter how much the system hates and grumbles about it, it must still allow provision for normal old fashioned pre-2020 type people to engage with it: enter hospitals, buy food, go to school etc.

If everyone throws in the towel, those provisions will be swept away. There will simply be no concept of being ‘unvaccinated’ aka ‘normal’, in these systems anymore.

If that makes no sense try and get a child into daycare having missed a single one of the dozen + ‘jabs’ mandated for them. There is no official way to do it, there is no state approved way around it, there are no exceptions except near-death, the system says ‘no jab no play’ and that’s that.

With 95% of the population compliant that would have to count as a loss.

It’s not 95%. NSW with it’s crippling beatdown of holdouts is barely at 93% of adults, QLD is at 80% and these numbers are fairly suspicious. It’s somewhere near but they’ve been ‘nudging’ us with these numbers make no doubt.

But you might make them arc up at the boosters. You might make them angry about what they were forced to do.

Yes, agree and I hope so, but without a large group of people who haven’t taken it at all, and are still holding out and ensuring that the ‘old normal’ still exists in some sense how much harder that will be.

As is the battle for everyone is “drop these new painful ways and modes of operation and continue with the existing ones that are still there”.

If everyone gives in the battle becomes: “we want to abolish this huge new system you’ve created, and go back to the old system and processes that are shelved and not in use anymore” – which as we know from 40 years of ‘conservative’ failure, never, ever happens.

Yep, Catallaxy Files is there – but it is Ye Olde site, and the link is to Trove. Someone there has decided to block this site.

Hrrumph!

Anyway, the reason I came here was to highlight a very confused story at TheirABC about a proposed coal mine expansion in the Hunter Valley.

Long before resource companies moved in to tap into the rich coal reserves below, surgeon James Bowman established the Ravensworth Estate in 1824 and it became a hub for horticultural experimentation.

Among the last remaining artefacts of that era is the Ravensworth homestead, which lies directly in the path of a proposed extension to Glencore’s Glendell coal mine.

The company has spent more than $15 million formulating plans for the project, which include moving the homestead to a nearby farm, or the town of Broke, 35km away.

Glencore is seeking approval to build a new open-cut pit and mine an additional 135 million tonnes of coal until 2044.

But a Wonnarua Indigenous group believes the project will cause the destruction of centuries of Aboriginal history.

On and on goes this poorly-written, confusing heap of mashed potato about how this group says this, another says that, and a third person disagrees with all of them.

Tom, don’t read it. It will add nothing to the sum of human knowledge and just make you cranky.

But, the message is clear. Coal mining is bad.

Twostix, whilst I take your point and I note you’ve been pretty spot on so far, you also need to take into account the injuries each vaccine is causing. People who are in love with vaccines in general are now experiencing the same injury/gaslighting process that parents of vaccine injured children have suffered for two decades.

Overseas experience (Israel, the US) appear to show a significant leakage after the second dose. I doubt the US will be able to get anywhere near half their population to take the boosters (it’s one seventh so far, and only one sixth of 5-11 year olds have gotten it).

Australians and Europeans are more brainwashed so we’ll have to wait and see (and hope).

As things are, how do you think the ‘purebloods’ might win?

That’s a silly outline of the situation. The end of this nasty and ugly war on ‘unvaccinated’ people is naturally the goal for everyone. Knowing that ‘unvaccinated’ will soon formally include booster-refusers.

People shouldn’t have to wonder if they’ll be allowed to see their hospitalised children.
Or feed their families.
Or even buy food.

The “win” state is the absence of the nasty vicious assault on the dwindling group of people who refuse to get ‘jabbed’ and the endless campaign of new and shiny ways to ruthlessly punish people who don’t want what they’re selling. And make no mistake once this group is gone, ‘double jabbed’ will simply become the new ‘anti-vaxxers’ being banned from life and threatened daily by the AMA and government ministers.

I also think it is unfair to think that people who have had the jab are now just drones with neither the will nor the legitimacy to fight back.

I’m not saying they’re drones. But we’re all seeing people who were once hardcore against, get the ‘jab’, accept the passports then start to get fairly comfy with the new normal. It’s not a given but it most definitely is a natural progression and there’s no point in pretending it doesn’t happen. It happens with every social movement. It’s natural for people refusing to get with the program to see that then try and fortify themselves and everyone against it – sometimes with silly carry on but that’s what it is.

Of course they are, Chad Thunderbrain.

Please do find me a single documented and demonstrated case where Measles/Mumps/Rubella did indeed cause Autism.

Or is that merely emotional trauma and petty weakness, too?

C’mon Thunderbrain, it’s either all in the victim’s head or it isn’t. If it is, you are as arrogant, petty and disdainful as you sound.

And if it isn’t, then not a single one of the dogmas you rely on as a basis for your gnosticism work.

Funny Jo how the native title claim this mob claimed was discontinued and is still being sqabbled over with neighboring tribes. Bet the ABC failed to mention that. I am seeing native title in cases where it has been well and truly extinguished on freehold or by those with tenuous claims more and more being used as weapon.

My original point, twostix, was regarding those on the hill staying pure were not going to achieve anything.

The goal is for people who want to be left alone and make their own decisions be left alone to do just that.

For them to be left alone they will need the ‘sell outs’ and ‘bum-boys of the fascist junta’ or what ever to take their side as well. So no point dismissing the vaxxed as useless at best, complicit at worst.

End-of-the-worlders, I’ve just munched down on some Vita Weet multigrain crackers with butter and locally made Port Salut cheese. Delicious.

I do hope that in between standing on street corners with signs, among other hugely successful marketing techniques, the End of the Worlders avail themselves of some of the soon-to-disappear luxuries, or would that be traitorous?

Popped in to Dan Murphy’s Queanbeyan yesterday and, intrigued by the stories about champagne shortages, scanned the shelves.

No shortage of Moet, and The Widow vintage was 20% off. There are plenty of cashed up tradies etc around here.

I suspect that the stories about ‘shortages’ of champagne are just another BS marketing ploy.

I saw some program the other night where one character astonishes another by telling them that in Holland Santa Claus has an African slave called Black Pete.

I assumed Black Pete was a young (boy) helper who was black from slithering up and down chimneys.

According to Wikipedia it is even older than that – a motif inherited from the pagan days of the Vikings, where Odin would go out on a hunt and he had two ravens who would listen at people’s chimneys (or at least the hole in the roof where the smoke got out) and report back what they heard. Later these ravens became fire scorched demons forced into servitude, apparently a common image in Germanic Europe, and as a contrary counterpart to the more benevolent Santa.

Hollywood is such a shit hole. They have a few manias and absolutely no sense of joy or wonder. Which is kind of sad. When I was a kid movie stars lived deliriously exotic lives unabashed and unlimited – and we vicariously loved it. Now they are a strangely puritanical aunt with a strange fetish about not wasting electrons by having too many lights on at night.

Cronkite

I was led to a piece about her in the New Yorker. I know, the leftist rag doesn’t deserve a single click. The piece reckons she was rug munching too. I read it after I posted the question to you.

Here, I read it to spare you the pain.

She never married, had children, or apparently wanted to do either; she had brief romantic relationships, mostly with men (the actor John Gilbert, probably the conductor Leopold Stokowski), and likely with women, too (the leading candidate seems to have been the writer Mercedes De Acosta, the “ubiquitous lesbian rake,” in Gottlieb’s words, who had affairs with Marlene Dietrich and many others). Her longest-lasting relationships were with friends, especially, as Gottlieb makes clear, those who helped her logistically, advised her devotedly, and steadfastly refused to spill the tea about her. In these, she had pretty good, if not unerring, taste. Probably the closest and most enduring friendship was with Salka Viertel, the intellectually vibrant woman at the center of L.A.’s remarkable community of refugee writers, composers, and filmmakers from Germany.

I was curious also where she lived in NYC and looked it up. One of my kid’s pals lived there. Garbo’s apartment building is terrific and this leads to real estate porn as there’s an apartment listed there for $12 million.

450 East 52nd Street
New York City offered Garbo the anonymity she preferred, living at 2 Beekman Place in the 1930s and the exclusive Campanile apartment building at 450 East 52nd Street from 1954 until her death in 1990.

I think Kissinger lives or lived there too.

One blurb says that the building is very LGBTQ friendly, so you’d be fine there , Cronkers.

Is Hazzard talking about the thousands of health workers he made redundant that can now no longer treat the sick piling up from the clot shot?

So you took the jab, choo choo man, explains a lot.
Mother lode, your argument is that it is no big deal to take the first jab, and we “purebloods” as you call us cannot hope to achieve any success now without you.
While the last part is now true, (but you won’t be fully vaxxed for long) that logic is so flawed and I think you know it.
Firstly, we are in a more dire situation because you did take the jab, and all of this could well have been over now if no one had complied.
Because people did, they felt empowered to jab children.
That’s not on my head, sport.
You seem to calculate the risks and benefits of taking the jab only on how it effects you personally, and not others or the nation.
Yes we need you now, we need as many as possible, but that does not justify taking the jab which has so many consequences for others bar yourself, including the death of children.
Now that may be fighting words, and I say it to spark outrage because compliance has emboldened tyranny and they are now KILLING CHILDREN because people complied.

So as much as you want to brush off compliance as irrelevance in the big picture, it most certainly is not and it has consequences for others, your nation and the children of the nation.
But it’s done.
So lets move on, because you’ll either be dead by continuing to be jabbed, or in a few months your green tick will go red and you’ll be back down with the purebloods anyway.
The compliance has caused untold death and misery and plenty more of it to follow even if they stopped jabbing today.
They won that propaganda battle, which may have already won them the war, or it may not have.
You didn’t do a good thing for yourself or others.
Stop trying to excuse it and lets move on.
The flesh is weak and no one is perfect and the pressure was overwhelming, but facts are facts.
Lets unite, forget who has done what now, for all will be unjabbed in a few months anyway.
Lets stop looking back now. What is done is done.
We still haven’t agreed with who the bloody enemy is yet, and how to fight them.
