The choir is a big part of it. It builds to a huge crashing crescendo after it has built upon itself in waves of intensity. I don’t know a lot of musical descriptors, so that is the best I can use. It is the sort of piece you play as loudly as possible in your house and sing and conduct along wildly.

It is not difficult to get staff, it is impossible.
This has been the case all year, & similar with everybody I talk to, they plain cannot recruit staff.
Most seem to be running with about 30% of their usual staffing numbers.
This calendar year to date, most places in my town have reduced their trading by Forty to Fifty hours per week.
One pub is open only Four days each week.
I’ve got about half operations closed & mothballed, purely due to lack of staff.

At the Post Office this afternoon, people still turning up without a dog muzzle to wear & going away.
