Not that I know, but I think Greto has young(ish) kids. I think that’s what he’s mentioned before. But FMD, imagine being his parent and he’s visiting. You’d wouldn’t leave him out of your site in case he had a gun and went all Mendez brothers on you and ma. Scary as.
Perhaps instead of a green tick people should have a feather stamped in their passport. You get a new one after 10 years, by which time hopefully this will be over.
My folks are/were fine.
I used to give Dad shit about being a degenerate boomer back when I was in High School…you know back when we only suspected NRL players were deviants. It was hilarious because he was very straight and looked like a “cleaner,” or G-man. He would rage and yet he knew it was funny. My Dad used to work for free on the weekends as a projectionist in a church owned cinema.
This stuff has got more mileage than a three cylinder diesel hybrid.
Mum used to play possum. “In Australia’s worst town, we didn’t even know what hippies were until 1981…”.
Sure, Mum.
Whoopsie.
We had to go through this when we moved to Qld.
The uneasy giggle when we had our every 2nd day Qld Health check , and they asked to speak to Mrs Diogenes and I said ah you want ‘proof of life’ I think said it all.
I was fine because I am a classic introvert and was busy remote teaching, but Mrs D really struggled.
BTW was out on 8 Aug, still haven’t got the bill.
The issue is what happens when they stop boosting. The time between jabs is getting shorter and shorter. Why do you think that is (apart from greed, of course, but that goes without saying)? I hope the immune system can recover. It’s another one of the many unknowns. I’m not saying it will happen, merely stating my understanding of what is being posited.
Richard’s crime even shocked his contemporaries.
Cassie,
rather fitting that Richard the turd spent hundreds of years under what was to become a carpark.
No.
No you’re not.
Ah, well, someone on the innernets wearing a white coat, a frown and a stethoscope might look like a “well credentialed doctor” to you, but … and how to break this gently … not everyone on the innernets is kosher.

It wasn’t Dr Nick Riviera was it?
JC – yeah a stroke. Quite a big one by all accounts. A few ongoing issues but cognitively I’m basically OK. Could have been much worse.
I’ve been a cynic since I was 10 and didn’t even know what one was. I have a great book on Diogenes somewhere but I can’t lay my hands on it. Some decent bookshelves are No 1 on the To Do list when I do make it home.
It’s amusing that etymologists have somehow managed to tap into the global warming rivers of gold. There’s few geekier fields, but as we saw with climate scientists even geeks love dosh.
If you aren’t prepared to stand behind it, was it worth posting?
Well – we are to see how infectious this Covid thingy is. Unvaccinated husband & I have my (recovering from broken jaw) grandson & 6 of his mates up here on the farm for a few days.
They have consumed unbelievable amounts of alcohol, so I suppose that will sterilise their upper respiratory system to some degree ! Otherwise, we rely on the very healthy diet & lifestyle we have, plus the morning blender ritual of fruits, vegetables & Vit C, D3, Zinc, Quercetin & antihistamine. I might add that, while they are here, we also ritually gargle with Betadine every evening & also use a nasal spray.
Having said that, it is quite likely that husband acquired Omicron a few weeks ago when he was moderately ill from a “cold” caught from Sydney neighbour. When his chest became somewhat “tight”, we treated it with Aspirin & asthma steroid inhaler & also Bisolvin when mucus appeared a day later. He was back to near normal in a few days, although I do think he was a bit of hay fever normal for this time of year ( As I think I previously posted, I did have the cattle Ivermectin pour-on ready & waiting – burp to wasn’t needed). I also think that the vitamin regime & especially the anti-histamines, prevented complications.
Beware of the models.

I am not saying I trust an experimental mRNA vaccine either. The evidence of degeneration isn’t there as of now.
I will not have Pfizer or Moderna. Period. Gun to my head, I’d take AZ.
If something does occur, it is likely a rare genetic condition being interacted with.
Hence the normal safety and testing conditions. People can normally make decisions with informed consent.
The reason why I have hope for Novavax is that it the firm was researching SARS and MERS beforehand. They might come up with something to end the justification for any lockdowns Corona related.
Oops entomology not etymology. Both are confusingly geeky to my poor confused brain.
Reposted because I like it.
I did have the cattle Ivermectin pour-on ready
Terrible idea. You need the injectable. The pour on likely has kerosene in it or so I’m lead to believe.

Washington state lawmakers introduced a bill this month that would reduce penalties for drive-by shootings with the aim of “promoting racial equity.”
The bill, introduced by Democratic Representatives Tarra Simmons and David Hackney ahead of the state’s 2022 legislative session, would eliminate drive-by shootings as the basis for elevating a first-degree murder charge to aggravated murder in the first degree, which carries a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment.
Are we voting for who would be the best 2022 climate model?
Eyrie – re Ivermectin pour-on:
No – I am not aware of kero additive. In any case, we habitually get the stuff on us (even with gloves) when drenching our beasties every year. No I’ll effects whatsoever.
Maybe it’s the reason we have been, generally, rude good health!
That should have been – no ILL effects & I corrected it twice! I hate the way the computer makes its own ruddy decisions!
Big-block wargaming. Literally…
(Fantasy games conducted in an individual model-skirmishing style always felt weird to me. So their Lord of the Rings and Age of Sigmar was just something that never quite appealed).
One from today:
Scientists Now Confirm mRNA Vaccines Produce NEGATIVE Effectiveness Against Omicron (30 Dec)
Does seem like the vaccines do cause the production of antibodies temporarily but also knock out a population of lymphocytes that also confer immune response. So once the antibodies have declined the lack of those lymphocytes leaves the vaccinated more vulnerable than if they’d never been vaccinated. It’s a sort of addiction – once you get the vaccinations you can’t stop getting boosters.
Fortunately Omicron is so benign that the issue is probably not so important, as eventually those lymphocyte populations should build back up again once they stop being stripped out by the mRNA shots.
More from Jonova today also:
Pandemic of the vaccinated (31 Dec)

No scolding thus far from the Quenthland heartland and redoubt this morning.
Perhaps the story of the ‘real man’ Mr Murphy, telling others how to be really real men earlier today followed by his downfall struck home.
That’s a terrible reason and it will only hurt black communities, but wouldn’t it be better off to treat each criminal act separately?
Conspiracy to murder (presumably, also presumably a class of aggravated murder over there?).
Any property damage charges.
Any accessory charges that don’t fit conspiracy.
Any manslaughter charges.
Any murder by reckless indifference charges if they have an equivalent.
Any firearms charges including posession and discharge.
A motive of financial gain for murder for hire or an economic interest in eliminating criminal rivals is possible too.
Finally, domestic terrorism. This can be abused but if someone systemically engages in intimidation of a community or supports a political position, it is quite reasonable charge them with this.
I think getting the wheelman or conspirators would be highly deterrent.
Climate modelling
The architects who designed a passive building and insisted that mould was a construction issue when in reality the design had not factored in rain for the year.

You may know of her as the Anti Greta. She’s doing fine on covid stuff too, looks like.

$20? That was yesterday’s rate. Up to $35 now, reportedly.
And they’re putting them in baggies like drug dealers apparently.

Naomi Seibt is a German climate change denier, a proponent of COVID-19 misinformation and a promoter of COVID-19 vaccine misinformation and hesitancy. Low key racist. The bigotry of low expectations.
Re the Rapid Antigen tests : we have some satisfaction in having accumulated a little pile of them before the rush.
Reason being – the need to test before coming to Sydney once a week to see injured grandson – just in case as couldn’t bear to have (once in million chance) infected him with CV.
Unfortunately used up 3 of them when husband got sick – all negative, but then I’m also guessing they may not pick up Omicron. Friend of my daughter had 2 negative Rapid Antigen tests & one negative PCR, & then a positive PCR for Covid. Go figure. It’s all a nonsense that had us tied up in knots.
Speaking of Greta, she will soon be 19.
Has she ever had a part-time job like other kids?
Apart from being a corporate shill, that is.
I worked at a school with a bloke who had upset the women folk there by saying something true but unnice.
They sent him to Coventry and ensured every new staff, male or female knew, via eye rolling and “he would, wouldn’t he’s” that he was beyond the pale.
By the time I arrived there he had been treated like that for two bloody decades, every lunch sitting alone like a plague carrier.
For saying something not nice but true. Well, maybe more than once.
But this was in a place where the women complained of various sleazes who in the past had bailed them up in corridors and other 70s like behaviour, and he wasn’t one of those.
Which probably made it worse for him.
Women and their vindictive standards of niceness (not all, not all, not all). They can piss off as far as I’m concerned.
I sat with the bloke whenever I was around at lunchtimes, and he was one of the brightest blokes I have ever met.
Instructive link OCO.
Highlights:
Paraphrased: ‘I don’t want to bring kids into the world because covid and terrorism and it would be too scary for them.’ The hallmark of the chick who is deranged enough to knock herself but also believes her offspring wouldn’t survive without her. Charming.
Not paraphrased: At lunchies with the girls where all her mates’ kids had been dropped off with grandparents – ‘“Oh God, Michael would never babysit solo while I’m at something like this’, she freely exclaimed.”
Perhaps Michael is earning a crust. Perhaps they’re all moles heavily dependent on their own parents revisiting parenting 30 years after they thought they’d finished because their daughters (the mums in question) can’t do anything independently.
Not paraphrased, and apropos of living an independent and free life: ‘Can I have a big night tonight and a guilt free hangover tomorrow? You bet!’
Obviously not working either. This specimen goes on to describe how kids are pains in the arse because they get sick at daycare and are noisy on planes, and then somehow works herself around to the conclusion that although all her friends must be unhappy, it’s still male selfishness that she isn’t in the same boat.
Take heed, young men in your twenties. Take careful heed.
Arky.
My wife always says a staff room dominated by women is usually a terrible working environment.
She considered a good representation of men improved the atmosphere no end.
You don’t want to upset the Mummy bloggers. Trust me.
Isopropanol is rubbing alcohol – so what is the problem? You are putting it on your skin – not drinking the stuff!
BTW in Zimbabwe they apparently mix Ivermectin with baby oil before rubbing it on skin. Amount of IVM determined by weight eg 70kg person – 10ml from recollection.

Don’t they hate the people who were right all along, while they thought their naivety and ignorance was level headedness.
Now we see someone who shit herself and screamed like a dribbling cretin in fear and hysteria for nearly a year, accusing people of being nanna killers and completely lost to fear propaganda, who scoffed at the people who dare suggest there would be a covid passport, who dared say covid was all bullshit, who told lies about how she was hjust getting the jab because “personal choice” and would never use a pass……………etc etc etc …… IN ITALY by flashing her good Nazi papers and out of the country people like her destroyed.

My experience is that men co-workers infinitely preferable (sorry fellow gals). They get on with the job & don’t indulge in the intrigues of the feminista.
I honestly have never encountered the sexism women these days agonise about. But then I have recently learned that one of the blokes I shared an office with used to put “pictures” in the desk drawers of a woman in another office. This same man always treated me with the utmost respect. Indeed, he personally had a door name plate specially made for me acknowledging my PhD when it was conferred. Go figure.

Poor Greta has destroyed her own life. She’s vegan and looks unhealthy. She’s angry all the time. Her brain seems mostly composed of tofu. Naomi Seibt, by contrast, is 21 and looks like a supermodel. She also appears to be very bright, and more importantly, wise as well.
…Aaaaaaand here’s Struth to do his Morning ‘Constitutional.’
Right all over the blog.
Fuck off, Struth. Go cry somewhere else about how Socialism and Good-Nazi-Passes have sat you on your (suddenly spare-time-filled) arse.
And do it quickly- Your c00f dictatorship nightmare is (for Queensland at least) vanishing as fast as any other nightmare does when your alarm goes off in the morning.
And what will you do then? All that Faulty-ness for nothing…
I don’t hate you, Struth. I don’t hate Twostix.
I disagree with you on some things.
I’m on my third leg of ham for the Christmas season.
Too much?
Get another jab to keep your job Rex, and don’t take your pitiful submissive behaviour and the bitterness you feel toward yourself , out on others.
There are many here that just want to keep the peace and therefore won’t tell you that it’s quite obvious.
Embarrassingly so.
I’m obviously not one of them.
So the krauts haven’t locked her up? I saw her on Outsiders once and she intimated this was on the cards, due to her strident anti-climate catastrophism. All pre bat flu.
“Of why twostix and myself are so hated.”
Struth, I don’t hate you nor do I hate Twostix. Why can’t we agree to disagree on some things? We’re all adults here.

She certainly needs help.
To make matters much worse, she’s been exploited by others for the meanest of motives – Mammon.
which has now strangely disappeared from wider view.
Good point KD.
The counter point offered was that “big things” might be happening, but behind the scenes don’t ya know.
“She’s vegan and looks unhealthy. “
She IS unhealthy….mentally and physically.
Ghastly female.
Cute projection, Struth.
@ Rosie-
If you are reading this, please take the time to blow Struth a kiss every morning when you step out the door and another when you get back. And maybe whenever the mood takes you.
He can feel them graze his cheek, and it enrages him… 🙂
I’m sure that many other Cats have looked on-line for Ivermectin protocols for defeating covid.
Is there a one-best-place site that details Australian support for people who want to look after themselves?
The best I’ve found is Professor Thomas Borody’s offer of assistance to GPs wanting to use his triple-therapy for Covid.
(Although that was in the Delta days. Now the less deadly Omnicon is here, no treatments may be necessary.)
Veganism certainly helps with the carefully cultivated gamine look.
Which has all sorts of creepy overtones and resonances with lefties. Amazing that it hasn’t been picked up before.
For all the fans of Greta here …
‘twostix and I are so hated’
I don’t hate either of you St. Ruth. For example, I’ve never wished you to get a clot and fuck off and die. I also don’t know how stix, who is a far better writer feels about being roped into your act.
Perhaps if you would refrain from speaking for others, ie ‘we all here in steely-eyed Queensland who wouldn’t stand for that fancy southern stuff’ until it all turns to shit you wouldn’t receive the occasional bit of opprobrium.
As far as ‘wrongology’ goes, please provide an example. You’ve had your fair share of dead ends. Truckers never being vaxxed, supply chains, Quenthland never ever being like the southern States (until it became worse, then it retracted into ‘oh but I meant the regions’), Bosi will lead us to glory, We The People, etc etc etc.
If you’re relying on ‘yeah but it’s for the cause’ you are not winning anyone over with your outlandish shit – and that’s exactly what it is – about 18 to 48 months, which is about to become 15 to 45.
You change your stories constantly, as was pointed out yesterday. You put words in the mouths of others and consistently reinvent your narrative to better suit you, and only you.
But more than that – you demand others do what you will not, and then wonder why you receive the responses you do.
I don’t remember singling you out.
However, I know you are a woman and you call yourself a tough woman and you are.
But you are still a woman and as such a man needs to tell you that you are starting to take the kumbaya hippy reasoning woman tend to take when things get hard and sides must be taken.
The need to socialise with groups is far stronger in women than men.
This forgive all while they screw you rationalisation is expected.
But Calli, you know, and I know you know, it’s not right.
Your feeling powerless but you must put first what is right and what is wrong.
And Notafans actions throughout this whole coup d’etat have been wrong, without principle and deceitful and she failed at every point.
Yet she regales us with her expertise on Christianity as some Pius angel of righteousness.
You know that to be true. However sometimes women will avoid facts for the sake of peace. In the long run that makes things worse.
Truth is what sets us free and speaking it loudly.
No matter who is offended by it.
Are you taking your cues from Jack Murphy, Struth?
More macho posturing from yet another man without a chest…
Shame so few people seem to actively share this sentiment.
Regardless of the upticking…
Yes, that should help.
The Minister-President of Bavaria prioritises efficiency over the rights of human beings as he flags making vaccination mandatory in a press conference just before Christmas:
“With a vaccine mandate, we can also control this better. With a vaccine mandate, there is a clear option for control. Who is to be vaccinated, when and how. At what intervals and why, then you can structure it much better and ultimately also try to get ahead of the waves instead of always running after them.”
Anyone who refuses will be denied entry to supermarkets and other essential retailers.
No sense of history or irony at all.
I hope there’s going to be a day of reckoning when the madness recedes.
Regarding the vaccine effect on the immune system.
I am not an expert and am putting this out there as much to spur people to illuminate further as anything else.
This does not mean that I am uniformly ignorant of immune system and its ways – there are some things I am confident in and some things that I am not, and in a chain of reasoning the weakest link determines the strength of the chain: If the question were something else I would view it with more confidence. As it is I make no claim to understanding the feedback mechanisms and whatnot that must surely be active in the system.
Given my understanding of the immune system in people I am confident that the claim that someone else’s vaccination somehow protects me when it does not help them.
With that preamble out of the way:
I would guess that if you have a natural immunity then the vaccines would have minimal effect: To the extent they mimic the virus your existing immune system will respond, but if they are different then at the most your body will try to combat the mRNA caused ones. The combat between Covid, or the vaccine proteins, is with the leukocytes and takes place ‘outside’ of the places where leukocytes are produced – they have been sent out to meet their foe. The vaccine proteins are not being combatted in the tissues where leukocytes are produced.
It is like cricket. You bowl the ball to the batsman and he hits it to the boundary and you are unharmed. (Excepting pride.) If instead you ran down the pitch and the batsman hit the ball still in your hand then you are in a world of hurt. That disconnect is a buffer.
I have no doubt that there are reams of claims and reports showing the vaccines compromise the immune system, although I would not be surprised that there is a fair bit also where a headline from a report or a finding taken out of context is being bandied about as ‘proof’. Even views that would seem to support an overall opinion to which I am sympathetic need to be viewed with a modicum of skepticism. The alternative is to be gullible, and when that is what you accuse your opponents of then it also becomes hypocritical.
I am sadly accepting of many of the claims regarding the side-effects of the vaccines. I have seen some of them in my own family, and note that none of them were ‘predicted’. That and what I have heard gels with my own understanding of the body.
I also suspect that the claims that the vaccine ameliorates the symptoms very suspect. Frankly it is the last, and least, they can claim short of saying it does absolutely nothing. The next step in the progression would be to claim that not being infected at all is dangerous and the vaccine spares you the symptoms of not being infected.
I am sure CNN is workshopping this claim already.
KD, petal.
You are such a Vic plod bullshit artist.
I stand by what the experts who have everything to lose in trying to warn people…..

You’ll probably be dead within a few short years…especially if you keep getting jabbed.
Snap, ladies.
Sadly, St. Ruth’s becoming Liability Bob 2.0. Makes his comments, refuses to acknowledge what he said, goes around and around and then disappears only to return with the exact same thing.
I do wish he’d stop calling other people Nazis and slime and a disgrace to history when he (and I want to stress this, APPARENTLY) has far less to lose.
Who is this Murphy chap and what was the nature of his spectacular comeuppance?
More word walls to scroll past.
On “niceness”. I take your point. Some of us are natural (or perhaps more accurately, acquired) peacemakers.
I can’t tell you the number of times I have deleted a comment, in the interests of harmony or to give the other person the benefit of the doubt. Or regretted saying something, to my mind, a bit too caustic.
Not sure if it’s becoming milquetoast in my old age. My hope goes something along the lines of a CS Lewis observation –
To reiterate the preamble of the above – I am not claiming what I say is the case. Merely that that is how my limited knowledge adds up, and I do not claim to know everything, or even necessarily much.
when things get hard and sides must be taken.

Those folks who moved from California to Washington state to escape the madness might want to consider Idaho.
Greater Idaho
Areas that vote like Idaho does, and are economically healthy enough to be welcomed by Idaho are: eastern, southern, and most of central Oregon, southeastern Washington, and northeastern California.
Rosie if you can take a train to Naples and get a taxi to the Italian Train Museum. Great fun. They have a model of the Settebello!
Disappointed to see that Marcus Welby MD, Dr Nick Riviera and Dr Phil didn’t make the list.
Not sure of the details, but I suspect that everything that could possibly have gone wrong, did.
..
I think some horrible hippy chick teacher had us sing that early in primary school. I have disturbing memory fragments of a record player on the netball court and a half remembered long haired figure in a floral dress.
Dr Pepper is under investigation because his injections have been associated with gas embolisms.
Calli
Don’t underestimate the usefulness of a well timed “Fuck off”.
“I can’t tell you the number of times I have deleted a comment, in the interests of harmony or to give the other person the benefit of the doubt. Or regretted saying something, to my mind, a bit too caustic.”
Same here Calli.
No, no.
Go to the Italian Truck Museum in Milan.
The refrigerated articulated vehicles are my favourite.
Semifreddo semi-trailers.
“Who is this Murphy chap and what was the nature of his spectacular comeuppance?”
A combo of hypocrisy and grifting done him in.
Yes.
Any list of medicos which excludes Dr Pepper isn’t worth a cracker.
Yes, when in Italy, one must got to a train museum.
WTF?
Thanks Calli.
You are a wise woman and I know you’ll appreciate being given the male perspective on things while still chosing your own approach.
It is the healthy ying and yang between the sexes the scoffers above have dismissed as not their responsibility.
Which is exactly the point I was trying to make yesterday.
Are you suggesting we need to be wary of innernet Messiahs?
KD .
You should scroll up before you make a dick of yourself, as we see.
Rosie – if you get a train to Naples, transfer train to Pompeii. MUST SEE excavations there – & bus to Herculaneum if enough time.
Correct. And it is still developing.
First the classic cancel culture defence of scream-and-lash-out:

Taking one for the team…
A teacher tested positive for COVID mid-flight. She stayed in the toilet for five hours
“There’s 150 people on the flight, and my biggest fear was giving it to them,” she told NBC’s Today Show.
She decided it would be best to quarantine herself in the aircraft’s toilet for the remainder of the flight which she estimated was five hours. She filmed what it was like in the tiny quarters in a video with over 4 million views on TikTok.
When in Rome …
Why do you think they have a Eurorail pass but no Eurotruck pass?
Yair, righto Struth…
Yes St. Ruth. I will expire within 15 to 45 months.
It’s not the argument. I have repeatedly said this. It’s the delivery. Outlandish shit written by your own admission as shit to provoke people, combined with D Grade soapboxing and calls to arms for other people but not you.
‘I have done enough.’ Remember that? Because I do.
Are all these doctors saying 15 to 45 prior to death? Because that is your argument. You just said that.
I can’t tell because you posted a mailing list. Of course there will be doctors against mandatory vaccination, and they will be right. But that does NOT mean that people unfairly circumstanced and who make personal choices for their family’s benefit get painted with the SS brush. By you.
As mentioned yesterday. You’re an old woman who mouths off plenty but can’t stand criticism, and you project your own instability onto others.
Stop telling other people what to do – poor shaming attempts will not work, especially coming from a travelling barrel-stuffer who fabricates stories about his elderly parents having nobody to care for them and then immediately backtracks when his William Wallace-style tale of resistance falls apart with the first question asked.
IowaHawk liked tweet from someone taking the piss out of this bird.
Tatiana Prowell, MD
@tmprowell
It’s one thing what people tweet, it’s another thing what they do. Our household (me a physician, my infectious diseases physician husband, & 3 kids, all #vaccinated, all elig #boosted) are back to:
Grocery delivery
Drive-thru pharmacy
Take-out food only
No airplanes
What makes it’s sad is her twitter handle says:
Tatiana Prowell, MD
@tmprowell
Oncologist serving people w/ #cancer @ #bcsm clinic, #MedEd, #Regulatory, & #COVID19. #ASCO20 Ed Chair.
@HCWvsHunger

From some of the interactions she’s had with others is she’s using weasel words when asked if she’s still treating cancer patients.
Effectively a minted person, with skills needed to treat cancer patients, is locking herself up because she is scared of COVID.
She should be feeling a deep shame.
But instead she is proud of her actions.
Because the truck passengers got no papers…
The blog header is also restraining me.
The Adoration of the Chooks has tempered my typing fingers.
All you gen-Yers didn’t see the boomers in their youth.
We did.
You never had to watch them get around in their hippy outfits and bell bottoms with stupid facial hair.
Or see the stupid shit they routinely did.
All in all the buggers have turned out slightly better than one could hope to expect from what one saw of them in the early seventies.
Where does Elephant and Castle figure in the list?
Bing-a! Bong-a!
Rex wins the internet today.
I thought that was going to be a story about Ralph Fiennes.
See?
‘There are two Nobel Peace Prize winners and one nominee on the list.’
Two things:
1. Please describe what the Nobel Peace Prize has to do with medicine. Isn’t that the one Yasser Arafat got?
2. Are you aware that the Nobel Academy is part of the elite global coup d’état, 70 years in the making? Even though by definition it’s six decades and nine years too long to be classified as such, but it sounds really cool?
Oh the hypocrisy.
Struth, you are being played.
Warning warning
Do they all drive Q7s and Saharas?
Have they got sunnies bolted on their foreheads?
Do they only wear expensive basic white or Lorna Jane?
I feel my ATM card bend (it’s in my shirt pocket you filthy minded individuals) as I walk past.
Black holes have so much gravity they can even bend light.
The limit of this region is known as the Stepford Radius.
Faaarrk no!
I bought one 4-5 years ago because they were all the go in the ’70’s and 80’s.
I thought I would get some sort of plastic card with five journeys stored on a chip.
What turned up was some antiquated paper ticket in triplicate.
The fares weren’t any cheaper and on my third journey I got pinged and fined for not filling out the details of the journeys on the paper ticket.
So even when you hand it over at the ticket box, they don’t mark it off, but expect you to.
Which is condition 78.2.4 on page 23.
Oh God. Arkymedies struck thought.
People, just beware of one thing. The turnip shows up on almost every single subject I’ve introduced and appears to think I’m interested in his useless opinion. This is the blundering imbecile who, the other evening ,promised to never speak with me directly or indirectly. That “pledge” lasted all of 13 hours.
A few weeks ago, he also “pledged” to never traipse through the open forum again and would stick to his high IQ threads where he abuses everyone. If only he kept his “pledges”.
Dr Peter McCullough no doubt is at the top of his game.
PS, Spotify are saying the his podcast with Rogan has topped 30mill views/listens.
Not too shabby.
One thing people should be aware of is the criticism of how he has his name on so many published papers.
Considering the criticism is coming from the same people who support Bret Weinstein & say he was defrauded out of a Nobel prize for his work showing the fraud in lab mice, I’d think it’s worth noting.
Pleasa canna you stop with de bing-a bong-a.

GPs report ‘massive’ spike in patients struggling with COVID-19 anxiety
Doctors endlessly tell Australians to worry about catching Covid and passing it onto elderly relatives. Media outlets like the ABC endlessly tell Australians the same thing. Doctors then moan to the ABC that Australians are worrying about catching Covid and passing it onto elderly relatives, which the ABC reports.
Who could have foreseen such an outcome??
I know people so dense that light bends around them.
And Cats,
To demonstrate that there is antagonism and antagonism, I wish to declare the following:
Today is the final Friday of 2021.
Happy Friday
Take note, Struth. Your actions would be construed as being far less obnoxious if you were to engage in a little levity.
You Greta in a Bread Van…
If any male wants me to advise him on how to be a proper man, here it is:
Give up, you haven’t got a hope.
It’s always some hate shtick too with this imbecile. If he’s not accusing libertarians of fucking dogs, he jumps on the hate shtick bandwagon telling us he hates boomers. Unreal. He debbie downs every single conversation. He even debbie downs Stix’s debbie downer crap about boomers.
I shill the Chopper Pill. It’s grey and made from a teaspoon of cement.
You can buy my course for 79 AUD p.m.
At my GP’s, where I have been upgraded from persona non grata to leper, they are only doing phone consults unless physical attendance is absolutely necessary for treatment.
And they wonder that people are anxious.
Just rang up about a ko-ken socket set.
Going out to make a purchase.
Made in Japan, $350.
Exciting.
My first tool kit paid for through wage deductions in 1983 had the ko-ken. I went back to Enzed to retrieve it three years ago and it was like being reunited with an old friend. In and out of factories and fishing trawlers and Navy ships, it was a companion throughout my youth.
I hope this one looks, smells and feels the same as the old version did to 16 year old me.
I haven’t been to a GP since 2019.
Been to the vet a shit load though.
Thanks to Bruce for the biblical reference last night.
Formalises exactly what I thought.
Nothing says “2021” like lefty Karen filming herself for five hours on a toilet and getting 4 million TikTok views.
Roger, why have you been assigned to the leper colony?
Been to the vet a shit load though.”
Vets are costly.

Wait?
How many Gretas do we have here?
Unclean, JC.
But they’ve now allocated special rooms downstairs for such should an in person consult be required.
Honestly, nobody has shown more irrational fear and anxiety throughout this thing than GPs, and at my practice they’re mostly young and healthy.
Well, yes.
Regular doctors, nurses and pathology companies have been killing it.
But the psych counselling industry has only been getting crumbs from the table.
This is their moment to shine.
Sure to be a hit on fetish websites to boot. Perhaps a new career in the offing, where she doesn’t have to leave the safety of home and annoy the rest of us?
Oh great Arky. Take a pic of the receipt and post it on your own thread. It would also be right that you in fact posted evidence of origin for all the tools you purchase with the insurance cash-out as it’s only reasonable that your “pledge” is verified. Trust but verify is the old axiom Reagan once used. I think we should apply it here. We need to see the receipts and a pic of the brand etc.. just so we can verify the origins.
Go!
I used to do ash and sulfur determinations on Greta.
Coal from a mine in the Ncl area.
I don’t Swedish Greta would want to do the twin towns thing with NSW Greta.
Been to a dentist recently?
Happily I have no need of their services but family members do.
Hey Struth @ 11.55
Thanks for that list of dissenting scientist/medicos. I had compiled a list of about 30 prominent ones who have done/ written highly researched work on the dreaded purge. I send it ( or cite it) to those fixated with the official line – they seldom respond. But it is satisfying.
Lets pull this emotional crap apart just for the fun of it.
I can’t remember who that was said to but don’t deny saying it.
Probably directed at some fuckwit, that presented with all the evidence that this is not a vaccine, covid doesn’t kill you and the overwhelming evidence the jab does kill you, went out and got it anyway.
This is Darwin award behaviour and only undertaken by morons made that way by propaganda.
If you care about human life and freedom, this sort of behaviour is TOTALLY INSANE.
Harsh words need to be said.
I stand by all I have said about the despised white man. Despised by Marxists.
I stand by the fact that they are in the majority still here in Queensland.
I stand by the comment that it makes a difference.
I also said it was a demographic thing as many of them are Victorians and interstaters leaving the other states to submissive Asians and Poonjabbis and various cultures that have been purposefully imported and don’t know what it takes to maintain freedom.
It’s not a state versus state issue.
I stand by all I have said on this issue.
It’s cultural.
Although I love all races and cultures, and wish to hold hands with the entire world singing “we are one’ the truth is, when it comes to freedom and wealth, some cultures are far superior to others.
Fact.
For most of the last two years truckies were not vaxxed and moved around the nation from hotspot to hotspot …….true.
I stand by that.
Supply chains into Melbourne I got wrong at the start which I have admitted to, which unlike some, can bring myself to do.
I had never, no one had, experienced populations in their millions not allowed to leave their house and consume.
Queensland has never been worse that the southern states.
I still have never worn a mask or QR coded in or locked myself in my house.
Queensland, the further from Brisbane the less anyone is following this shit.
I am not a Queenslander anyway.
Just a realist that gets under the skin of the parochials……Victorians and WA folk having this disease in spades.
It’s just a fact, as the Marxists acknowledge, generally speaking, white Australia will be harder to control.
It’s not about skin colour but culture.
So I stick by every word.
You have associated me with Bosi.
I have been highly critical of his performance especially in relation to going on about pedos.
I have never joined his party or publicly supported him in any way.
At the start, I was interested and participated in a zoom meeting, where I found he wasn’t for me.
Let’s face it, you’ve picked up another bad habit from Notaclue, and that’s to put words, mostly lies, in other people’s mouths.
This is fun.
Haven’t done it for a while!
See above for why I am standing by this statement as well.
Bullshit, as the above dissemination of your crap proves.
Never demanded anything from anyone.
I am but pixels on a screen.
What you really mean to say is the truth demands actions from you that you know to be right, so you’d prefer not to hear the truth.
You have a conscience being a right wing leaning person and you know underneath, right from wrong.
So the truth makes you feel compelled, I have never demanded anything from anyone.
Have I pushed and argued as hard as I could on issues like not taking the jab.
Of course.
I have a duty to do so.
If after all the effort and facts presented you go and make your own personal choice, you know a fine from me is not coming in the post.
I have no effect on you whatsoever.
So stop this emotional bullshit, and take a good hard long look at yourself.
Happy New Year.
Very selfless of her.
Except for the passengers who pissed their pants because they couldn’t get in the bog.
This place is getting like year 8 at Abbotsleigh
Arky
I’ve still got dad’s 12” shifter made in Jamestown NY around the 1940’s.
Magnificent piece of metal and virtually unbreakable. That includes putting a length of pipe on the end for extra leverage.
A new set of tools is a thrill you never get over.
What?
No mention of Frank in the latest Kenworth epistle?
He will be pissed off.
(If he is still alive).
How are you going ridding the bread van of Chinese components, St Ruth?
Maybe you can borrow Arky’s new Ginko socket set to get it done.
Some great stuff this morning to think about. Thanks Cats. I have had to get late breakfast for about 8 lads visiting – they don’t get up until 11am- so just retuned to blog to catch up.
Mother Lode’s explanation of why some react to the vaccines & others don’t is interesting & very plausible. I have frequently wondered about it. But a healthy immune system may very well contend successfully with the vaccine as it similarly would with the virus itself. Yes.
Where does Elephant and Castle figure in the list?
Too cryptic for me. But another great place is the twin towns of Reedy Creek and Glendon Brook; although as a winter retreat Mirranie is nonpareil.
What can be more mirth inspiring than to be shoving it up fuckwits who called me and others conspiracy theorists after it has all come true?
This isn’t about making you laugh, stupid, it’s about putting a smile on MY dial.
The latest Epistle.
37 references to me, myself and I.
Maybe you can borrow Arky’s new Ginko socket set to get it done.
Pure ignorance Sancho.
Nobody borrows your new tools!
Cryptic?
Prepare for a shedload of Games Workshop and Moorcock references.
Just as planned.
Travis Head has Covid-19 and will miss the New Year’s Ashes Test. He is reportedly asymptomatic and other players are so far testing negative.
The Australian team delayed its flight to Sydney from Melbourne on Friday afternoon as it conducted another round of testing.
Usman Khawaja is expected to replace Head, but Mitchell Marsh, Nic Maddinson and Josh Inglis have joined the squad, suggesting there are concerns more will test positive.

Sancho. Repeatedly. Generally in response to his gentle ridicule of your frothing.
And yet, it is failing. You East Coasters’ rulers and their attendant bugmen have all just publicly confessed that keeping you lot under the thumb is all too hard, and have de facto rescinded all your ‘Good Nazi’ passes.
Do you even read the news at that rock you purport to be hiding under?
Based on what I have seen and heard from your keyboard since I first encountered the Cat on ANZAC Day 2020, Greta, I am unsure you are even capable of smiling.
And every little ‘victory’ you’ve claimed and screeched about Iz Cooming Troo!!!1! has not seen a single lightening of your mood.
You’ve become so Faulty, you sound incapable of drawing any joy out of life anymore…
There was some discussion earlier about the fate of ‘expertism’ in a post-Covid aftermath.
If people stop automatically believing ‘experts’ it would certainly be a good thing. At present the word is being used as if interchangeable for ‘rigorously tested’.
It is like substituting ‘x is true’ with ‘everybody knows x‘. The clue is in how you test them – how do you verify if everyone knows something compared to how you verify if something is true – to see the difference in what they actually signify.
Look at how AGW uses consensus as a way to get around proof.
There is a tendency for people to believe that science and expertise are these independently existing things (‘Da Science’, anyone?), and only certain elevated individuals are qualified to interact with them. ‘Tis bollocks, of course. Science is something people do. Mathematics is something people do.
A scientist is not a person with a special connection to ‘Da Science’ but the title extended to a person who spends a lot of time and is likely paid to do a lot of science. A title bestowed by society. Being a scientist is a social thing, not a science thing.
A dishonest scientist will produce dishonest results *waves to Trofim Lysenko*.
Experts will continue to exist, of course. When the skills of experts are sharpened against others like socially awkward nerdish whetstones we can expect keener insights.
But after this Covid farce draws to a close, the presentation of experts to bludgeon and browbeat people with whom they will not deign to enter into dialogue might be just a bit harder.
‘So stop this emotional bullshit’
Geez.
You could hear the tears coming out of the pixels. Squealing from beginning to end.
Again. You’re an old woman with no recompense to an alternative point of view but to scream and clutch at both ineffectual symbolism and class wars. Both are equally offensive.
Stop telling people trying to preserve their homes, livelihoods and families that they’re Nazis, and perhaps you would be received more warmly.
Stop bignoting yourself as a one-time participant in a cavalcade of cartes who ran from broomsticks, and who was laughably ‘targeted by the MSM’ as a result, which apparently makes you a leading public resistance figure.
Stop distancing yourself from Faulty and his AK archaeology and standing, fighting and falling. You were and remain on that team.
Unlike you, I do not propose to speak for others. In my view your kaleidoscope of whacked-out internet theories, your cloaking of yourself in the actions and bravery of others and your comparison of Joe and Jane Mortgage to Eichmann is offensive, counterproductive and does nothing for effective pushback against our idiotic governments.
Not telling you what to do.
+ve test and asymptomatic ?
Hmmm. Could this maybe, possibly, have a chance that the test/testing process is a piece of shyte?
Should I wait for a MSM jerno to ask this question?
Latest headline saying that National Cabinet has scrapped the day 6 test for positive cases and close contacts.
The reason for this of course is that they have lost control. Nevertheless, if true, then the fucking nightmare is nearly over. The beginning of the end at least.
‘I have never joined his party (Bosi’s) or publicly supported him in any way.’
Bullshit.
Arky
I’m not picking on you but your recent rants left a big question in my mind and I’d really appreciate it if you clear this up for me.
You ranted that insurance companies are evil. Me, I’ve never had that experience as the claims I made – two major ones as a result of flooding were fine. Yea, it’s the continuing flat roof saga. You mentioned that insurance companies are evil, but this is where I find it hard to reconcile.
Recently, you mentioned that they cashed-out the entire claim or a portion (tools). Did you cash out the entire claim or just the tools portion?
You mentioned on your thread that they paid out 10K for the lost tools. Presumably, this payout is based on an estimate for the tools lost in the inferno. Now, if the insurance company was “evil” they would be paying out on a very low base for the replacements. They would most likely cost out at your dreaded China baseline.
How does this work, because most of the replacements would cost out at multiples more than what the insurance firm would have estimated if your going to buy away from China. You appeared to me over the moon with the 10K, or is that reading minds? Let me say that you showed to have zero problem replacing the tools with the insurance cash-out from the evil firm and then buying this junk at much expensive price levels. This doesn’t reconcile in my head. Are they evil or is just a figtree of your imagination?
Also, are you cashing out of the entire thing?
Bwah ha ha ha ha.
Is it a Stihl advert on TV where the bloke in his garage sees his neighbour coming up the drive to borrow something and hits the roller door button?
You’re right about the old tools.
As I said the other day, I’ve got a couple of old spanners and shifters I have cleaned up and put some preservative on them.
Not sparkly chrome but look good.
I think antiques people call it “patina”.
Arky should go JDM only.
I have a mate who wants to import JDM cars like Nissan Presidents with 60k km on the clock.
He’s bonkers.
Hey Stix.
I’m a Boomer and I’m going to travel OS and I’ll be using money that I saved and didn’t give to moaning exers. Boom, boom.
I’m going to visit my daughter who I have been unable to be with for some years.
I grovel in abject apology for daring to be human and to permit my emotions to lead me to offend whatever the fuck burr you have up your demented arse this week!
I’ll be sure to give you regular travel updates starting with the arrivals hall, and including the ever fascinating details of the antics of the grandkids.
I’ll provide that service because I know that people being normal drags you further towards the abyss; a good thing.
Time to get over your not inheriting the house, Clown.
JC
Insurance companies are crappy.
They make banks look like saints, ubermae fides for you but “double insurance” for them.
It’s rigged BS. Legislated to be so.
WTAF? Bullshit of the highest order. The ability to make hard decisions in difficult circumstances or during radical uncertainty or to choose a side in the doing of it is completely and utterly unrelated to which set of chromosomes you were born with.
It may be inate in some individuals or learned in others but it is in no way connected to which set of reproductive organs you’ve been born with.
An enlightening illustration of warped thinking. Get a grip lest you too become what you despise – an hysterical, wet, screamer into the void.
Whoops! Too late.
Liking my posts is like laughing at Norm MacDonald.
You sick, sick people.
Édith Piaf was gamine.
Greta Humbug is gamine in the same sense as those troll erasers that kids stick on their pencils.
‘The beginning of the end at least.’
Hope so, jupes. Being optimistic, one could surmise several more months of this current nonsense to provide a basis for ‘see, we did everything we could’ for various gummints before they throw the entire thing in the bin.
Ultimately, the cost of this charade will exceed its political advantage – and that’s where it will end.
I have been waiting for a moment like this and by God I hope you’re right.
That’s all it has ever been about.
Actually, prune juice is what sets us free.
The Nissan President is a great car but it has quirky features like a curtain that looks like grandma’s “doileys”.
A Japanese Minister’s wife must have wanted privacy applying her lipstick. 😉

Now sometimes experts lend you money
And sometimes they lend you lots of money
And sometimes when the subprime mortgages collapse
And banks close and businesses fail
And the crisis spreads around the world–
Sometimes other experts say:
Just because aII the markets crashed
Doesn’t mean it’s necessarily a bad thing.
And other experts say: Just because aII your friends were fired
And your family’s broke and we didn’t see it coming
Doesn’t mean that we were wrong.
And just because you lost your job and your house
And all your savings doesn’t mean you don’t have to pay for the bailouts
For the traders and thd bankers and the speculators.
Clause only an expert can design a bailout
And only an expert can expect a bailout
Cause only an expert can deal with the problem
And only an expert can deal with the problem
And only an expert can deal with the problem.
Make sure you blow Struth a kiss every day too while you are over there, Bons.
He’ll appreciate the consideration… 😉
Dot, perhaps you’re right, but I never had an issue and I’ve had three major claims. I had one in the US ages ago and two here in Oz. I never had an issue. In fact they were pretty decent.
Arky stated the insurance firm was evil and then made a pledge he wouldn’t buy a single tool replacement made in China. He didn’t appear to have an issue with the 10K payout. However, as I explained, the payout is not based on his personal decision not to buy Chinese, but as we know other sources will be much more expensive. He appeared to be fine with it all but this just doesn’t reconcile. Does it with you?
Knocking off harvest for the afternoon. Thirty eight degrees with an ice cream melting westerly.

Made a will out Frank?
Of all the people who had reason to get the jab, you waited and waited.
You had no cause to get it.
You knew that.
You also had problems immediately or within a short time of taking it, I suspect.
How many boosters are you going to have?
(A question never answered)
The people that were taking it were dying left right and centre and you knew it.
We were showing you.
But still, like the supreme winner of the Darwin awards, you farm animalled your way through the dip…………..
Not like Lizzie, as although she really did, underneath, take it for the wrong reasons she did it early on.
She spent months trying to talk herself and others into it being perfectly safe and when she could no longer do so, the evidence being overwhelming, left Catallaxy.
Will you die of “coincidence”, as many millions will in the next few years?
They are already popping off like flies.
Don’t expect to be written up as a jab victim.
But just between you and me, we’ll know, won’t we.
At least you can RIP secure in the knowledge that your compliance got me and my wife killed in a concentration, er “quarantine” camp.
Let’s hope none of that happens and through sheer disobedience (which I have been advocating all along) Not forcing, advocating, we can get our civilisation back, as the only hope you guys have for an antidote lies in the free western world working toward making one.
Have a Happy New Year one and all.
And may the jabbed see it out.
Megan:

Now get back in the kitchen.
When it comes to tangible assets (property, cars etc) insurance companies keep it simple.
The problem is with things like business continuity insurance & TPD.
That’s when they turn the arseholeness up to 11.
Not as bonkers as the stooges who want to import km-expired Japanese EVs here.
A representative Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru etc. is just nicely run in and has some 200,000km or more still available to run before its mechanical components finally give out. Probs even more with an extremely careful maintenance scheme.
