Shovel it in and crunch it up? Mix it with something else and try to swallow it whole?

I’ve taken liquid ivermectin + praziquantel (Equiduo) 2.7ml. I put it in a glass, added 50ml water, drank. It was quite bitter, but that could be the prazi. Definitely not vomitously bitter, but needed a glass of softdrink afterwards to get the taste out. 5 min later – no aftertaste.

I’ll bet that your formulation is more palateable, since it’s designed for the horse to want to eat it. The stuff I’ve got is intended to be squirted neat down the back of the throat.

That part of his comment didn’t make any sense.
Wadey got the Wickety’s job because he could bat, but he failed for Australia at Wicket Keeping.

Mix it up with some yoghurt, pumpkin seeds, bit of dark chocolate, some roasted macadamias, etc. Need to take on a full stomach or with food to absorb properly, otherwise you will not get the correct dose. Not on an empty stomach. And not at the same time as Quercetin.

I wonder if the heparin or other anticoagulants like warfarin etc are over or under represented in WZV deaths?

Brislurker, they haven’t put any detail into the Asia MSLP Analysis since before Christmas. I have been using the Thai Meteorological Service synoptic chart since then to get an idea on the drivers for the monsoon. Mate in NQ tells me the forecasts outside of 2-3 days have woeful, and within 2-3 days sometimes change 180 deg from the morning to the afternoon update. If I was a betting man they are all on holidays and the computers are doing everything on autopilot.

As for Seth she was remarkably persistent after transitioning to a cold core system. I still remember being a kid in Brisbane in the 1970’s and hating all the rain from summer, wasn’t allowed outside to play. People do have short memories these days…

The earth is a flat circular pizza.

This would explain why we have so many pizza-based metaphors in English.

“Best not talk to him. His tomato sauce doesn’t quite reach the edge.” i.e. He is not very bright.

“I think we could all use a little more pepperoni and a little less ham in our lives.” i.e. Life should be more exciting.

“He is the anchovy of the family.” i.e. Yeah, he is part of the family but awkward and a bit of an embarrassment.

“I felt as welcome as a Vegetarian (pizza) at a piss up.” i.e. Not at all.

“It is so unfair, he has all the toppings and all I get is cheese.” i.e. Envy

“Man, she was perfect. Perfect in every way, but then I noticed a whiff of pineapple.” i.e. Otherwise ideal but something feels not quite right.

Anyway, I am slipping into the oven for a bit. Keep your crusts firm everybody.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced a three month extension to the Victorian pandemic declaration.

The extension will begin from 11.59pm on Wednesday, and the Victorian government will submit to parliament a Statement of Reasons, advice from the Acting Chief Health Officer and from the Health Minister.

Premier Daniel Andrews said the measures will slow the rate of transmission and “protect the community’s health and our health system”.

The Acting Chief Health Officer attributed the decision to a low uptake of third dose vaccinations, a rise in hospital admissions and a “potential significant negative impact on essential services and supply chains”.

All the vulnerable adults are now well vaccinated and boosted, so there is no threat.
The current push is to “protect” the health system i.e. avoid the nurses union members having to actually do a days work. Ever since the start of the pandemic, the hospitals have been cruising. For the same reason, the teachers union will now force delayed start / remote learning again.

How does vaccinating children protect vaccinated adults?
We already have known, for many months, that vaccination doesn’t prevent circulation, though it might slow it down.
I know you all don’t want to believe it but unvaccinated adults are over represented in hospitalisations, French and Italian hospitals are under enormous pressure as a result.
Italy’s colour code system of restrictions are based solely on the number of hospital admissions.
Italian parents who are vaccinated are refusing to vaccinate their children to protect the unvaxxed adult rump.
I don’t blame them.
If only someone had invented the perfect safe vax like I should reasonably be able to expect, along with the perfect political party and the perfect prime minister.

Anna is attempting to have school delayed by 2 weeks, mainly I am hearing for staffing shortages but also pricking peoples ears is the push to vaccinate children.

I am hearing there are massive staffing problems. Staff have until midnight tonight to submit their Vax status, and if they have only one shot have the 2nd by midnight on the 23rd. According to the official ‘all hands’ email I got this afternoon the staff development days for the 20th & 21st Jan are still on. Schools will be open as childcare centres for the 2 weeks and Principals are expected to find staff to supervise, whilst at the same time having minimum numbers of staff on site.

The private sector looks hard hit, this week I have had 3 Seek listings where schools are looking for 12, 10 and 8 staff respectively and a few for 3 or 4 staff at a time.

Nobody is happy about term 4 being extended a week.

Wifey’s pal from the US sent this to her. They the thoughts of the head of infectious disease Dept. at a major hospital in North East US as they’re friends.

I thought I’d share a few of the interesting points from his presentation:

. 1 Close to 100% of the positive cases in MA are Omicron. Delta is almost completely gone from New England.

. 2 This surge will peak sometime between 1/10 and 1/21 and then begin a quick downhill journey of two to four weeks.

. 3 We will end up with a 20-50% positivity rate.

. 4 February will be clean up mode, March will begin to return to “normal”

. 5 Omicron lives in your nose and upper respiratory area which is what makes it so contagious. It isn’t able to bond with your lungs like the other variants.

. 6 The increased hospitalizations should be taken with a grain of salt as most of them are secondary admissions (i.e. people coming in for surgery, broken bones, etc. who are tested for COVID)

. 7 We won’t need a booster for omicron because they wouldn’t be able to develop one before it’s completely gone and we’re all going to get it which will give us the immunity we need to get through it.

. 8 COVID will join the 4 other coronaviruses we deal with that cause the common cold, upper respiratory infections, RSV, etc. It will become a pediatric disease mainly affecting young children with no immunity.

. 9 40% of those infected will be asymptomatic

. 10 Rapid tests are 50-80% sensitive to those with symptoms, only 30-60% sensitive to those without symptoms

. 11 Contact tracing is worthless because we’re all going to get it and there’s no way we could keep up with it.

.12 We are fighting the last war with COVID and should be pivoting back to normal life, but society isn’t quite ready for it yet.

. 13 There is no need to stay home from work or to be a hermit unless you’re immunocompromised or 85 or older, but he does recommend staying away from large gatherings for the next six weeks.

. 14 Spring/Summer will be really nice!

With the reports of vax injury we’ve seen here why would anyone take the clot shot?

The chance of significant vax harm seems to be about 1 in 10 going on the data I see. You can argue about what is a significant injury, and the data on direct vax deaths and disability is so obscured by the authorities as to be impenetrable.

On the other hand if you did have the Big One a 90% chance of no injury would be excellent. But not only isn’t it the feared 12 Monkeys-style pandemic but the vaccines are really bad: they just don’t work very well. And after about 4 months they no longer work at all.

The trouble is that the general population have been so scared witless they do think it is a 12 Monkeys scenario. Just yesterday Sotomayor managed to overestimate harm to children by 1000 times.

That claim would only be made to vilify the unvaxxed when the children suffer.

e.g. “my child died because of those filthy unvaxxed, they aren’t fit to live amongst us!”

How does vaccinating children protect vaccinated adults?

It doesn’t, but the hysteria about this whole Kung Flu has had some (by no means all) of the vaccinated screeching for some time that the unvaccinated must get vaccinated to protect the vaccinated (implicitly the adults). This is simply an extension of that hysteria.

If it’s close to 20% it’s much the same infection rate as the Diamond Princess in March 2020.

I don’t think so John.
I think the governments of Italy and France don’t want their hospital systems to collapse under the weight of over 50 unvaxxed covid patients.
Italy’s system is based on numbers of covid admissions per 100,000 people.
Though no region has been reclassed into Orange they are planning to mandate vaccine for over 50s.
Not good but better than mandating under 18s or using various restrictions to arm twist parents into vaccinating their children.

More than likely, the positive rate will be close to 80% by the end. I’d guess lots of people won’t test either because they can’t be bothered or they may not even know they have it. Also, with rapid testing, they won’t be any official stats. I guess that they will be doing blood sampling in the US by summer to gain some knowledge the real numbers. I think we will be really surprised.

Think how many people have it in australia but we can’t rapid test as there aren’t any testing kits around. A PCR test can take up to 7 days to get a result and a large number of them are closed.

Yeah, except the vaccines seem to reset natural immunity to zero by depleting innate immunity producing T-lymphocytes. Which isn’t to say an O’Micron infection is going to be severe in the vaccinated, because the antibodies generated offset the loss of the lymphocytes. But it does suggest the infection rate for the vaccinated is going to be much higher than for the unvaccinated.

Yes, they were real, and they were spectacular. Tick.
The script was rubbish, and Kubrick’s motivation for making a film like this must lie somewhere in the venn diagram overlaps of Fellini envy (Satyricon) and outright porn.
The central context at the palatial and somewhat Gothic mansion in the woods had elements of black Sabbath, with the red-robed figure chanting something that sounded like the old Oomie-Doodle bird joke, or a lament about his lost poodle. The scenes around the various rooms just lacked some pizza.

With the reports of vax injury we’ve seen here why would anyone take the clot shot?

The need for food and shelter.

The 16 deaths were Fatal Vaccine Reactions?

Let’s break this down:
If they’ve previously been vaccinated for Covid/19, then obviously they’re going to test positive, because they’ve been inoculated with the Disease.
That’s what a Vaccine does.
So:
Any vaccinated person who dies from any cause whatsoever is going to test positive for Covid/19 and presumably be counted as a Covid death.
There isn’t any way out of this bureaucratic madness other than shutting the entire Vaccination program down and treating the maimed and dying victims.

NSW Health says those who died were in their 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s but did not disclose who was or wasn’t vaccinated.

Still batting 85 as the average age of death?

There’s a crossing from the street to a car park. There was a sign with colorful letters saying “HOLD HANDS”, obviously advising parents. FMD

There’s a single lane timber bridge near the farm. It has a massive range of signs associated with it such as speed limits and no overtaking. There’s enough steel pipe in the fucking signs to give the bridge a structural overhaul.

No, Grigory.

That is not how vaccines work.

You are not innoculated with live, full-strength virus. That is not even how Dr Edward Jenner started with cowpox scab crustings in 1796.

And certainly not for the couf.

Fuck off and glow elsewhere.

Last ball game at the SCG.

Even the resident hound was mesmerised.

Well played England to hold out to the last wicket and the last ball.

Sad that the most exciting part of series was for a draw on the last day of the 4th test.

The ‘safety’ industry is massive, the very definition of ‘bullshit jobs’. Being done a few times on construction sites for minor infractions gives the safety wankers something to do to justify their pointless existence.

This ought to be worrying:
https://tinyurl.com/2p873sdc

The way I read it, it shows clearly that the reason for vaccinating all age groups is to prevent the analysis of differential death rates by age (as is done in this article).

If all members of all age groups are vaccinated, then there is no control group to compare against, so the fatality rate of vaccination cannot be reliably determined.

Hence Pfizer’s relentless push to vaccinate all ages.

Reality says we’re in the let it rip stage, but this is Victoria. If we were in let it rip stage we’d be saying stop fucking testing, if you’re sick, stay home, otherwise get back to it.

The latest round of government “nudging” for boosters is that they “help your immune system remember” how to fight Covid-19.

So now our immune systems have dementia.

Strange how within the last 5 years they tested a woman who contracted the Spanish Flu in 1918 and she still had immunity.

These people are fucking insane.

Reality says that there’s a Supply Chain crisis, Australian produced food, particularly Meat and Fish but also paper products, isn’t getting to the Supermarkets because the relevant factories have largely shut down due to Covid infection rules.
So, we’re on the edge of a fucking crisis.

. 5 Omicron lives in your nose and upper respiratory area which is what makes it so contagious. It isn’t able to bond with your lungs like the other variants.

Bullshit. “It can’t bond with your lungs”. What is this, an emotional or a chemical bond?

So sciencey.

. 6 The increased hospitalizations should be taken with a grain of salt as most of them are secondary admissions (i.e. people coming in for surgery, broken bones, etc. who are tested for COVID)

Same as it ever was.

.12 We are fighting the last war with COVID and should be pivoting back to normal life, but society isn’t quite ready for it yet.

??? Bullshit I am not ready. Man child leftist idiots like Adam Liaw and bugwoman extraordinaire Patricia Karvelas aren’t ready. Why? Because it made them special. Less riff Raff on her precious planes she didn’t own and didn’t pay her own fares for.

. 8 COVID will join the 4 other coronaviruses we deal with that cause the common cold, upper respiratory infections, RSV, etc. It will become a pediatric disease mainly affecting young children with no immunity.

It won’t even be that bad. How many kids died of COVID? Maybe none in Australia. They died of other illnesses, with COVID.

israel fourth booster shows fivefold boost in antibodies

So why don’t they work? We need…SIX injections before anything useful happens?

Keep in mind COVID is and always was a marginal disease. How much liberty will those who demand no risk in life be prepared to sacrifice to prevent the flu for example?

Omicron does not infect cells deep in the lung as readily as it does those in the upper airways

That’s better. Less bullshit.

So now why didn’t we merely:

1. Shut the borders.
2. Isolate the vulnerable.
3. Offer free and voluntary vaccines when they became available?

Which I doubt was even necessary as counter factuals to the wisdom of those decisions are not hard to find.

They are just merely preferable to the society destroying lockdowns we have suffered.

I was walking across a narrow, no through road which essentially ended about 50 meters away. It was basically a feeder street to the back of a few shops. There’s a crossing from the street to a car park. There was a sign with colorful letters saying “HOLD HANDS”, obviously advising parents. FMD

Which is why the genuine anti vaxxers are right, inadvertently or not.

The government having this much control at such a personal level over EVERYONE only leads to tyranny – and is quite repugnant in itself.

Correct. All that ‘junk’ DNA written off as useless 25-30 years ago has been identified as all viral fragments that have been incorporated as long-term memory.

Things your ancestors survived, plus all those that you have, too. Some of which you will pass to your own offspring. Who then develop their own unique ‘libraries’ of immunity data.

Between the banalities of leftwit/bugman power politics and big pharma types trying to fool folks into consuming more product, well-defined observational data and understanding of human physiology is being wilfully ignored.

I’m going to assume covid deaths are easier to pick because people get sick and exhibit various symptoms then deteriorate, presumably because they having trouble breathing or some other serious complication.
Bit harder to point to a vaccine taken three four five six months ago and say definitively, that’s what killed someone.
As for France, it has a population of nearly 70 million, even, say, with ninety percent vaxxed over the age of 50 that still leaves a substantial number of unvaccinated to account for the majority of covid patients currently in ICU.
