Joe Rogan latest with Dr Michael Osterholm.

It is clear he is one of the guys to give some “balance” after Dr’s McCullough and Malon. A look at his Wikipedia page shows well connected to CDC and NIH.

Joe raising good points but the Dr quite obviously saying does not know or does not want to express an opinion about the sensitive subjects like gain of function or how started. Lots of stuff that has been in major news that he says he does not know about or can’t comment on.

Whilst Joe is showing good knowledge and raising many good points it is going as I expected with one from the “other side”. The Dr is avoiding commenting on so many important points and I personally think it shows his bias towards the Fauci side.

Joe raised the issue of losing weight and vitamins and a lack of emphasis on this. Dr did not even agree that with that when from what I know seems to have been lacking and also lacking here.

Joe has not challenged him strongly but let his questions and the answers let us draw our own conclusion. Still got a lot to listen to but this guy not going to go against the narrative or rock the boat.

Yeah, that’s the idea of having mounted police, the horse is a weapon too.
The problem here is that these protests have been facxilitated by spooks, so there’s no real organisation on the ground, it’s just a bunch of people on their own who’ve been lured out into the streets to serve as an example of what happens to dissidents.

‘It’s a war grave’: New battle over future of HMAS Perth

Families of sailors lost on the famous World War II cruiser are resisting a proposal to open the wreck off the coast of Indonesia to marine tourism and diving.

By Chris Barrett and Karuni Rompies
February 19, 2022
HMAS Perth figured significantly in the war effort in the Mediterranean before facing the invading Japanese forces off what is now Indonesia

In the silty blue water, the final resting place of one of Australia’s most revered warships and the 353 men who perished on it lies between 20 to 30 metres below the surface.

“It’s an amazing place, I must admit. It’s got a really sort of spooky sensation,” said Kieran Hosty, the maritime archaeology manager at the Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM).

Torpedoed by Japanese destroyers in the Battle of Sunda Strait, HMAS Perth sank just after midnight on March 1, 1942, followed soon after by the American heavy cruiser USS Houston, which lost 693 crew there the same night.

The area around HMAS Perth’s remains is a protected maritime zone, Indonesia’s first, a designation made after Hosty’s team and their Indonesian counterparts made the shock discovery in 2017 that 60 per cent of the hull had been scavenged for scrap metal.

Families of those who were on board were left angry and upset by the finding, knowing that according to historians’ estimates, between 40 and 60 crew had been trapped in sealed compartments of the Allied cruiser when it went down.

Now, with the 80th anniversary of its demise a fortnight away, they and the ship’s last remaining survivor – 102-year-old Frank McGovern – are aghast at the latest development concerning the shipwreck: a plan to make it a marine tourism site and open it up to diving.

“The Indonesian side has not protected any of the wreck sites in their waters. They should not now be able to make money on what is left”
Pattie Wright, military historian

The proposal has emerged amid a joint Australia-Indonesia project on underwater cultural heritage and after $100,000 in funding was directed to the museum to investigate the practicalities of opening sites like the HMAS Perth wreck for tourism.

“Regarding the use of the location, we do have plans to turn it into a maritime tourism area, so it will benefit the locals,” Miftahul Huda, director of maritime services at Indonesia’s Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, told The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.

“The alternative for non-divers is to learn about the Battle of Sunda Strait, so we encourage [Australia] to build some kind of museum that serves as an information centre about the battle.”

The Indonesian government and Banten provincial authority have vowed to continue patrolling the area to safeguard the wreck from further looting but want to open up another revenue stream for the local community, including up to 5000 people on the nearby island of Panjang who live largely off fishing.

That is being met with opposition by family members of those who served on HMAS Perth.

“Our members would really be against it,” HMAS Perth National Association president Darrell Hegarty said.

“It is a war grave, although it’s not declared as such by the Australian government.

“It’s been scavenged by God knows who up in Indonesia and a big objection that I feel is if they open it up for tourists to dive on it, and they get a lot of tourists diving on it, they’re going to start pilfering bits.”

Hegarty said he had spoken to McGovern, who was a gunner on HMAS Perth and lives in Sydney, and “he’s dead set against it”.

Covered in oil, McGovern had watched HMAS Perth capsize in Banten Bay after almost being dragged into a propeller when the order to abandon ship was given.

Like most of the 328 survivors, he was captured and spent the next 3½ years as a prisoner of war, an ordeal only a third of them survived.

HMAS Perth made a storied contribution to the World War II effort, helping evacuate soldiers from Greece and Crete, where it lost 13 men under relentless bombardment from German aircraft bombing. It also supported the battle against the Vichy French in Syria with naval gunfire.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission does not consider shipwrecks as war graves but Pattie Wright, a military historian, has long argued they should be. She said the HMAS Perth wreck “should not be turned into anything even close to a tourism site”.

“The Indonesian side has not protected any of the wreck sites in their waters. They should not now be able to make money on what is left,” she said.

“This is a sacred site of officers and men who died fighting for our country. Leave it alone.”

Also fiercely resistant to the idea is John Schwarz, the executive director of the USS Houston Survivors’ Association and Next Generations.

The USS Houston sits closer to shore and in shallower water than HMAS Perth, but the two are inextricably linked after the terrible events of that night eight decades ago.

“On just the night alone when they were attacked and sunk together, within a total of about 50 minutes, over 1000 servicemen lost their lives. And someone wants to make their burial ground a tourist attraction?” Schwarz said via email

He said anybody considering such a proposal did not understand “the bravery, the torment these servicemen went through as crew members of these two ships, which were ordered to stand pat in that part of the world even though that meant almost certain peril”.

Schwarz also raises safety issues with diving in the area, noting hazardous netting around the hulls and oil seepage from other vessels passing through the shipping lane as well as the poor visibility and currents.

Indonesia acknowledges it would not be for novices. “The diving into the HMAS Perth location is not for beginners or for recreational diving because the visibility is not so good and the current is quite strong,” said Miftahul, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries official, adding that the ammunition still lodged in the wreck was another danger.

“So making it a conservation area means we have to protect the area … divers must be more aware when diving in the area. Besides that, HMAS Perth has an important historical value for our Australian friends.”

Hosty, who last dived the site in 2019, believes it would be a draw for shipwreck divers.

However, as a facilitator in the project, he has spoken with families of those killed on the Australian warship and is well aware of their position.

“I do know from talking to some of the families of those men who lost their lives on Perth that they don’t want the site open to divers. They prefer the site closed off permanently,” he said.

“The families have very strong feelings about the site. Their views also have to be taken into account.”

Given that HMAS Perth is located in Indonesian waters, however, “the ultimate decisions around the site rest with the Indonesian government,” said a spokesperson for Australia’s Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment.

The spokesperson said the department was finalising a technical agreement with Indonesia that would help archaeologists and war historians from both countries collaborate.

“This technical arrangement will form the basis of future interactions with the Indonesian government around sites such as HMAS Perth,” the spokesperson said.

HMAS Perth, which was largely intact as recently as 2009, has suffered more damage since the extent of the pillaging was revealed five years ago. On the most recent survey of the site by Australia’s maritime museum and Indonesia’s National Archeological Research Centre three years ago, the hull had collapsed further, possibly as the result of a tsunami.

Indonesian archaeologist Shinatria Adhityatama, who was on that dive and others before it, said the theft in the years before had been “deeply regretted”.

“The most significant part of the ship, the stern, was completely gone. In 2014, I could still swim up to the back of the ship, I could see the remains of propellers,” he said. “When I went back there in 2017, the propellers were gone.

“[In 2019] parts of the engine room were still there, but the bridge compartment was destroyed and the cargo holds below were only survived by its walls.”

Whatever comes next for HMAS Perth, there is an increasing grasp of the ship’s significance in Indonesia, after those years of neglect.

“It had a three-year life [in the war] and has been in Indonesia for 80 years,” said Natali Pearson, of the University of Sydney’s Sydney Southeast Asia Centre, who as a project consultant has helped try and build awareness about the ship in Banten.

“It’s about trying to reframe this idea that it’s just an Australian ship and think about it more in terms of Indonesian history. It’s a shared story.”

Shinatria, the Indonesian archaeologist, agrees.

“The sense of belonging among government people is still low. But since these World War II heritage [sites] belong to other countries, we have become slightly awake.

“In fact, we should take it as part of our own history.”

Shades of the Tsarist regime in 1905.

Yes! Watched Doctor Zhivago a few weeks ago.

The earlier footage of arrests of front liners reminded me of stories of the Gandhi protests. The ones in the front line would be knocked out by the British soldiers/police only to be replaced by another. Over and over. It required men prepared to be physically harmed while doing nothing in retaliation.

It worked. The British, sickened by the spectacle of armed men beating up endless thin, poorly clad and unarmed people, relented.

Ex-cop jailed for Daunte Wright shooting
Nathan LayneReuters
Sat, 19 February 2022 6:16A

A Minnesota judge has sentenced former police officer Kimberly Potter to two years in the fatal shooting of black motorist Daunte Wright during a traffic stop, a lighter sentence than the roughly seven years in prison sought by prosecutors.

Potter, 49 – who mistook her handgun for her Taser in firing on Wright, 20, as he resisted officers who pulled him over in a Minneapolis suburb last April – was found guilty by a jury in December of first-degree and second-degree manslaughter.

“This is a cop who made a tragic mistake,” said Judge Regina Chu, who became emotional as she handed down the 24-month sentence on Friday, two-thirds of which is to be served in prison and the rest on parole.

Chu said Potter had to make a split-second decision during a “chaotic and tense” encounter with Wright and the evidence justified the 26-year police veteran’s intended use of a Taser to protect another officer.

However, the judge said there had to be some accountability because Potter’s “reckless” actions led to Wright’s death.

The April 2021 shooting in Brooklyn Center triggered multiple nights of protests.

It occurred just a few kilometres from where Derek Chauvin, a former Minneapolis police officer, was standing trial for killing George Floyd, a black man whose 2020 death during an arrest helped set off demonstrations around the nation and the world over racism and killings by police.

The judge made a point of distinguishing Potter’s actions from those of Chauvin, who knelt on Floyd’s neck for more than nine minutes and was convicted of murder. Both former officers are white.

Daunte Wright’s mother Katie Wright expressed anger that Chu was emotional in delivering the sentence but not during Wright’s victim-impact statement in court on Friday. She blasted the two-year punishment as too lenient and questioned the sincerity of Potter’s tearful testimony at trial.

“Kim Potter murdered my son, and he died April 11. Today the justice system murdered him all over again,” Wright said outside the courthouse. “White woman tears trumped justice.”

Prosecutors had sought a sentence of seven years and two months.

How the Hell do you mistake a pistol for a Taser?

A case of mistaken identity. To my eye the complainant in question on Twitter looked identical to the lead singer of Frenzal Rhomb and had also mentioned the band in his tweet, but I just checked further and they are not the same person.
Apologies to any fans of Frenzal Rhomb for the mixup.

After so long of not commenting, I’m still regaining my c-legs.

It is critical that the police, individually and collectively, never be forgiven for their terror behaviour.
They are not “just doing their jobs”. They are adults who have been taught right from wrong. They have chosen to assault their own people for reasons of personal benefit.

How the Hell do you mistake a pistol for a Taser?

Inexperience, no training, panic.
It is a mystery.
You would think you would carry them in familiar positions on your belt (say, gun to your dominant hand and taser in reverse on your other hip).
Inexplicable.

Don’t despair guys. Never despair. The only variable is time, and it’s on our side.

I must admit to some of that despair.
I predicted some of the Western leaders would waver and retreat, whilst trying to keep any of the authoritarian gains they had made. Some of them would come down harder – like Trudeau, and I felt many would watch to see which way the wind blows.
What I didn’t see was the scorched earth retreat by many of them.
Whatever survives this war between our leaders and the people will not resemble anything we had before.

So what happens if the Emergency measures are voted down in the Canadian Parliament? Distinct possibility, one of the founders of the NDP and not a particularly Conservative person has come out to criticise his parties position. Canadian civil liberties organisations finding their voices too.

Trudeau may have overestimated his position on this one and the death of a woman trampled by police isn’t going to play out well. An observation, he is playing to the protestors strength not weakness.

The Canadian Parliament canceled its debate over Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s invocation of the Emergencies Act today because there is an ongoing police crackdown on the trucker convoy protests in Ottawa.

Right. Much better to save debate about the PM’s bastardization of the Emergency Act until he is finished doing it and the damage is done.

Or are they suggesting that the anti-protest operations of the RCMP make it too dangerous for MPs to get to the House of Commons as they may be mistaken for commoners?

The problem here is that these protests have been facxilitated by spooks, so there’s no real organisation on the ground, it’s just a bunch of people on their own who’ve been lured out into the streets

The mention of COMCARS awakened fond memories of my beginnings in the FPS .. way, way back in 1967 after arriving as a ten-pound tourist I sat the PS exam and joined the ranks .. I was sent to the Dept. of Air (now defunct & incorporated into Defence like it’s brother/sister Navy & Army) .. anyway installed into a, relatively obscure, closed shop operation fully staffed by ex- servicemen/woman (mostly WW2
veterans passin gthe time until retirement .. LOL!) I was, definitely at 19, a square peg in a round hole and so was allotted the task of supply officer as 95% of our contingent were stationed in private contractors businesses plus various RAAF/RAN establishments(2SD Regents Park, Villawood,Richmond, RAN Randwick & Leichhardt ect) around the metropolitan suburbs, Liverpool/Hornsby/Brookvale/Wollongong (head office & me lived in the Dymocks Building on George Street, next to the Tatler Hotel .. memories .. LOL!).
Anyway, my duties of supply mainly consisted of delivering stationery, wages & cigarette/alcohol orders (we got ’em discounted & wholesale from the distributors) to the scattered hordes.
Sooo, 5 days a week .. 10.30am till … sometime in the, late, PM I travelled Sydney in, booked, COMCARS ..
The one thing that never varied was the, obligatory, liquid lunch ..!
Take it from me .. there are very few RSL clubs in Sydney that I have not been in .. LOL!

Cordless hole punch vs Taser. This was discussed at the time of the shooting.

Gun. Straight down with the dominant hand.

Taser. Cross-draw. They involve vastly different muscle memory processes and are unmistakeably different.

Except if – hypothetically, of course – you are a chicky cop steaming towards middle age and who’s spent her career behind diversity workshop and/or Continuous Improvement desks, and needing a bit of ‘street time’ cred to tick a box for further promotion.

At which point it is decided by her latest upstairs root that she gets that experience, and is surrounded by far more experienced bloke cops than is normal to do it.

And who is dropped like a hot spud by said upstairs types when she fucks it up anyway, having had neither the training, nor the experience, nor the mentality to differentiate between the two.

And who is now in the bin.

Hypothetically.

Tyrant TaliDan has given himself almost exactly the same emergency powers that The Canadian Despot is using to quell opposition. He’s probably green with envy. Much of what we are seeing in Canada was apparent in Victoria right up until the week the construction workers went on the warpath. No-one in Canada has been fired upon. Yet.

Anyone think the Bat-Eared Mong won’t use force again if the right circumstances emerge? Or if TCD succeeds in his totalitarian power grab? Victoria is too small to have made much of a global dent in the current narrative. Canada is impossible to ignore.

With Possibility of Protests Looming, Joe Biden Extends U.S. COVID-19 National Security Declaration to Retain Additional Power
February 18, 2022

Joe Biden informed Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi that he intends to extend the federal National Emergency declaration beyond its termination date in March.

By statute the State of a National Emergency expires one year after initial declaration. That meant the COVID National Emergency declaration was scheduled to end March 1st. However, the statute allows the extension if the executive office informs the legislative branch within the 90-day window prior to expiration.

Biden informed Nancy Pelosi today of his intent to extend the National Emergency:

Shahana Shadbolt charged with lighting nine fires on mother Melissa’s Gidgegannup property
Sarah Steger
The West Australian
Sat, 19 February 2022 12:19PM

An 18-year-old woman who recently pleaded for donations to replace farming equipment destroyed by numerous bushfires has been accused of lighting nine scrub fires on her own property.

Shahana Shadbolt was charged over the alleged arson spree in Gidgegannup earlier this week and faced Perth Magistrates Court on nine counts of wilfully lit fire on Thursday.

Just two weeks before the court appearance, her mother Melissa Shadbolt publicly criticised WA Police for failing to find the person responsible for starting 12 different fires, all lit around her property off Old Toodyay Road between January 9 and February 3.

On Friday February 4, the day after police say her teen daughter’s alleged arson spree ended, Ms Shadbolt said she was “very angry and very mad” at officers from Strike Force Vulcan, the State’s specialist arson and bushfire investigation unit.

“I feel totally let down by the police, the system and the way it works,” she told Echo News at the time.

Ms Shadbolt’s daughter has been charged over nine of the 12 fires set around their property this year, one of which burned down the their animal feed shed.

The teen was photographed with her mother for the Echo News article, in which the pair also called for donations to replace $5000 worth of farming equipment, medication and stock feed destroyed by the fires.

As a result, police have also charged Shahana with one count of creating false belief, alleging she publicised the fires through media outlets and on a fundraising website in a bid for donations.

The teen is a graduate of Kiara College, 15km east of Perth, and is understood to have participated in the Army Cadets and the school’s agricultural program throughout high school.

She is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on February 24.

The gun (if required) needs to be accessible pronto.
By definition, something requiring a taser maybe has a couple more nano-seconds available, so would be carried on the non-dominant side.
I am not familiar with them, but the shape of a taser looks to have more in common with a hair dryer than a handgun. Also the gun would have a safety and presumably the taser has an “arming” switch of some sort. Please tell me these aren’t positioned identically?

This is not “acoustic” or “sonic weapons” – this is radio frequency weapon. “Acoustic” name is intentionally misleading.

Radio frequency weapons are highly dangerous for human health. Also there are reasons to think that for people who are vaccinated with Covid vaccines this kind of weapon could be even more dangerous, due to presence of graphene in these injections, and graphene particles are known to stick together under RF radiation which can cause rapid blood clogging.

Updated: High-level Facebook staffer allegedly caught in amateur child sex sting operation
A live stream video posted on YouTube on Feb. 16 by “Predator Catchers Indianapolis” purports to show Meta/Facebook Manager of Community Development Jeren Andrew Miles, of Palm Springs, Calif., being caught in a child sex sting in Columbus, Ohio.

Miles, 35, allegedly communicated sexually explicit texts with a person who said they were a 13-year-old boy. He allegedly made plans for the boy to meet him at Le Meridien Columbus hotel, which is how and where the “Predator Catchers” group interviewed him.

Miles serves on the board of directors for LGBTQ+ group, Equality California. He has since completely deleted his social media accounts on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Miles previously worked as the Director of Community Affairs for Lyft, according to an archive on LinkedIn.

Eric Schmutte, the man recording the live stream and one-half of “Predator Catchers Indianapolis,” tells me he is sending all the chat logs and evidence to law enforcement in Columbus, Ohio and Palm Springs, Calif., where Miles purportedly lives.
Feb. 18 update: Other publications have now picked up on this story after my initial reporting. A Meta spokesperson has also confirmed to several outlets that Miles is no longer with the company. (He was fired or was forced to resign.) Ingrid Lunden, a reporter at Tech Crunch, reports that Meta’s spokesman Drew Pusateri tried pressuring her into dropping the story. [Read: https://techcrunch.com/2022/02/18/meta-axes-head-of-global-community-development-after-he-appears-on-video-in-underage-sex-sting/ ].

Equality California is also retroactively scrubbing Miles from their organization. A 2019 event page for an award show attended by San Francisco mayor London Breed, gay celebrities and left-wing politicians has deleted Miles involvement. [See before and after: https://twitter.com/MrAndyNgo/status/1494765020462395392 ]

The group that interrogated Miles sent me a statement: “We have sent over evidence to the police departments in Ohio and California. We hope they open up an investigation.”

Like it or not, evidence gathered by private citizens can be (ahem) “problematic”.
Not to say he isn’t a child violinist, but it opens a barn door of escape routes on admissibility.
Perfessional child abuse investigators have the patience of a saint, because many times their quarry is very guarded about what they say to new contacts on line.
They have to be careful they don’t overreach to quickly and jump into entrapment territory, especially in the US.

If you had bothered to pay close attention before going full Faulty at them, they suggested that the methods of the alleged ‘amateur’ investigators who brought the thing to light, could conceivably give grounds for the alleged perpetrator’s defence. The difference between the slow, boring legal formailities of an actual police investigation vs. sleuths looking to prove their case. Both can achieve the same positive outcome, but it is far harder for a good barrister to pick holes in the professional criminal investigators and their investigations.

Now go put your red shoes on and sulk in a tunnel.

‘I’d be lying if I said it didn’t let me down’: Grace Tame slams media outlets in open letter
By Amelia McGuire
February 19, 2022 — 1.07pm

Activist and former Australian of the Year Grace Tame has accused Australian media outlets of attempting to discredit her by publishing an old photograph where she is pictured with a water pipe, colloquially known as a bong, as a 19-year-old.

Tame published an open letter on Twitter on Saturday afternoon to say she felt the coverage of the 2014 photo taken from a now-deleted Instagram post on her account had let her down, not only as an individual but as an advocate for the survivor community.

“At every point – on the national stage, I might add – I’ve been completely transparent about all the demons I’ve battled in the aftermath of child sexual abuse; drug addiction, self-harm, anorexia and PTSD, among others. You just clearly haven’t been listening,” Tame wrote.

She went on to say that while it’s important to acknowledge the harm illicit substances can cause, an open and honest discussion about child sexual abuse requires examining the nature of trauma and how it can manifest.

“It can be ugly. It can look like drugs. Like self-harm, skipping school, getting impulsive tattoos and all kinds of other unconscious, self-destructive, maladaptive coping mechanisms,” she wrote.

“Whilst I do not seek to glorify, sanitise or normalise any of these things, I also do not seek to shame or judge survivors for ANY of their choices. For anyone who needs to hear this: it is NOT YOUR FAULT.”

Tame said many survivors are terrified of seeking help because they fear retribution and are scared they will be chastised for the way they cope, instead of being offered support and treated for the cause of their suffering,

“What do you think happens when they see the mainstream media deliberately brutalise survivor-advocates like me for actions I took when I was 19 and still trying to process something I didn’t understand? I’ll tell you. Their fear is magnified,” Tame said.

She then explained that before she was raped at the age of 15 by a 58-year-old teacher at her high school, she had only been drunk twice in her life and her abuser used alcohol as a tool to “stupefy” her.

“Drugs feature in the broader story of abuse, during and after. They feed into and compound the many layers of guilt and confusion. Later they become a familiar, go-to means of escape,” she wrote.

“By point-mocking a symptom of a bigger picture, you’ve reinforced the imbalance of an already skewed culture. You’ve chosen to punish the product of an evil, not the evil itself. This is precisely why survivors don’t report. Congratulations.”

Tame slammed media outlets for either being “irretrievably ignorant” of how trauma affects people, or wilfully complicit in traumatising her, and she “shuddered at the thought” it could be the latter.

She went on to share some insights about the nature of trauma in the hope the media “never does this to an abuse survivor ever again”.

Tame took the opportunity to remind the media that child sexual abuse differs from any other kind of abuse and that children do not have the mental framework to comprehend it.

“Shame is embedded in the experience of child sexual abuse … Infused at the unconscious level, you have very little control over it once it’s there. It is a life sentence. That said, healing, self-love, triumph and total transcendence are all possible. But they require patience, compassion, encouragement and forgiveness. They require ongoing community support” she wrote.

Tame finished by sharing her appreciation for the record amount of donations given to her foundation on the day the photo surfaced. “With a swollen heart I wish to thank the legions of strangers and friends alike … who showed up and showed out for survivors by calling out the unnecessary shaming stunt on Monday,” she said.

Horowitz: The lies about vaccine efficacy are exposed, so Scotland stops publishing data

We see similar antics in Australia, the TGA used to report on vaxx adverse events and deaths, the total deaths figure has now disappeared. I suppose they are bundling injuries and deaths together under a common “adverse events” heading.

I’ve also noticed that the average age of death from Covid has gone down from 86 years to 83. Given that they are now jabbing the kids, and given that deaths from the vaxx are counted as deaths from Covid for fourteen days after the jabbing, then having the kids die from the jab will reduce the “average age of death from Covid” figure.

The reported average age for Covid deaths will most likely fall further when they start jabbing and killing the babies.

Some people up-thread were saying how they longed to see those responsible brought before a court of law, I’d prefer to see them swinging in the breeze on the end of a length of rope.

Makka, I made a comment earlier today about attitudes to freedom. We are not hard wired for freedom, but we are for fear.

If we think of freedom, it’s in the abstract, and generally it isn’t for others, it’s for ourselves. Very few people want others to be free, especially if that comes at a cost to them. In the west, we may need to have the shackles applied in order to value it.

46% of Canadians sympathize with trucker convoy, but many disagree with their tactics: poll

This sympathy has risen to 61 per cent particularly among Canadians aged 18 to 34, according to the poll.

Unsurprisingly, CNN heard the call of their masters 3 days ago and said that polls (without providing any names, dates, numbers, etc)) “have shown that most Canadians oppose the protests and support both vaccination mandates and various restrictions intended to limit the spread of the virus.”

Umm, since when do we believe polls? Given the accuracy of polls in western countries over the last few years, I question this. I don’t trust polls. The footage of thousands of people coming out and lining highways to cheer the truckers in the freezing cold makes this claim questionable. Woke Canadians living in the uber trendy areas of Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal might oppose the truckers but I suspect that out in the suburbs and in the rural areas, the truckers have support, or at the very least they loathe their adolescent totalitarian black face PM.

Over the past ten days, Canadian Meghan Murphy has been uploading some interesting discussions with various people on Youtube, among them with B.J. Dichter, who’s one of the people behind the trucker movement, Jay Cameron, who’s a lawyer with the Canadian Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF), to talk about Trudeau’s decision to invoke the Emergency Act and today with journalist Canadian journalist Trish Wood who rightly says that everything wrong in Western democracies in 2022 is a result of a failed news media.

Meghan is a feminist from the very woke city of Vancouver but she’s been red pilled somewhat over the last four years. She also understands the importance of free speech having been kicked off Twitter for saying a biological male cannot become a woman. What she says in the discussion with Trish Wood is that on social media, her very woke friends in Vancouver, all of whom are upper middle class and wealthy, support Trudeau’s measures and loathe the truckers…..but such woke people don’t represent the views of real Canadians.

I think we need to be very sceptical of polls. I don’t trust journalists and I don’t trust polls.. Polls are now frequently used a tool by the MSM and activists to confuse and intimidate people .

Areff, don’t be ashamed. No one actually knew.*

Some were sceptical, but it was from a gut feeling, not from real knowledge. They were right from the get go. Good luck to them. It’s like looking at the form guide and backing the winner. After a few weeks and the Ruby Princess fiasco, something just didn’t add up. It all started to look more like a movie (Contagion, Outbreak, Twelve Monkeys) and less like messy real life.

We all took precautions, especially those of us with elderly relatives. We know why. The first “flatten the curve” two weeks seemed fair enough. And then it lengthened, and the massive propaganda campaign kicked in along with bushels of money. Overseas, we watched BLM and Antifa get away with murder, and voting laws changed to accomodate the “virus”.

That’s when we knew without a shadow of a doubt.

November 2020 then January 2021 and the “virus” catalyst ushered in a brazen coup. And it is still being used to cement power for the thieves and to terrorise entire populations.

Finally, here, the figures have caught up. But many minds, accustomed to harm minimisation, have not. We have been lied to constantly, capriciously and cruelly. The evil our governments have perpetrated on us is so grotesque words fail to describe it adequately.

And still they preen and posture like the petty dictators they ape.

LRAD’s have been around for about 20 years and were popular for international shipping to dissuade pirates. Worked pretty well until the pirates understood that almost any form of ear protection diminished the effectiveness of the device.

Fortunately, we have access to supplies a pirate would only dream about. Any Bunnings or similar store sells various grades of ear protection and even your local chemist probably sells earplugs.

Basically, you need to get the sound down below 125dB (start of pain threshold) from a source emission level of around 160dB. Even cheap earplugs will reduce the sound by 22-28dB, which is not enough, but is better than nothing. Commercial grade over-ear muffs (Grade 5) are designed to protect against very high dB although no manufacturer specifically designs their product to protect at up to 160dB because humans shouldn’t be working in those places. (The manufacturers didn’t anticipate that law enforcement would turn LRADs on their citizens).

They’re a bunch of loony lefty losers, makka. Or over 70% are. Canadians have to be pretty dumb to elect them in the first place, but the reaction of the provincial governments tells you that the not wholly insane can see the writing on the wall.

Or over 70% are.

I guess it’s the levers those numbers control I’m very respectful of. Five Eyes will be zeroing in on the truckers and anything related to them , keeping the Govt in a very advantageous position. Our own Govt will providing Trudeaux intel on Canada’s citizens.

Aluminium powder

Wouldn’t that stuff be an issue with burning?
I vaguely remember dry aluminium powder being a little explosive, like flour dust.
