What did we get in return? 45 years of cold war, continued attempts of subversion, spies and agents of influence all through our respective Parliaments and nations. Industrial sabotage via the Unions, and proxy wars where Russian pilots flew Russian aircraft killing our soldiers and airmen.
To hell with Russia.

Tucker: We are at war with Russia

A very good question Tucker asks what does the US or these warhawk politicians including graham and dowdy stand to gain from war with russia.
Is the annihilation of a billion people the end goal? Is this the build back better agenda?

Who is ‘we’. I am not at war with Russia and have no intention to. I wish I could somehow take back my portion of the $70mil the Overlords are sending to Ukraine. Maybe I could rip out a small tree from the park and plant it in the backyard.

There are 14.7 million tax payers, so the Overlords owe me $4.76, lets round it up the 5 bucks.

John H:

After the collapse of the USSR the USA and Europe should have reached out the hand of peace but instead has continued to regard Russia as a potent threat.

We did that in 1941 when they were invaded by Germany. We gave them tanks, guns, strategic minerals, food – you name it, we gave it.

Winston that highlights the problem I have with Putin. As long as he remains in power we are effectively still dealing with the USSR of 1941. I’m probably dreaming but if the Russians had chosen a leader more inclined towards seeking peace and democracy then perhaps the situation today would be very different. As it now stands I think that unless Putin is removed and the Russians finally managed to create a government with some hope being much better than now we are left with little alternative but to not trust them and to continue seeking the removal of Putin.

Long ago I said at a dinner that the Russians seem incapable of choosing good governance. People abused me for that but nothing has changed. I don’t know why but if it is true that the people get the government they deserve then the Russians must be among the most evil and dumb bastards in all of history.

BTW the USA went so far as to fly fighter aircraft from the USA, to Alaska, across Siberia, and to the west. Incredible effort given the limited range of the WW2 fighters and the navigation required. You are correct, they stabbed us in the back. Putin will do the same so I don’t understand why some are supporting him.

Nickel soars to record above $1357000 per tonne
Agency writers
AGENCY WRITERS

The price of nickel skyrocketed to a record high on Tuesday over concerns about Russian production as the Ukraine conflict has rocked commodity markets.

The metal, which is used to make stainless steel and batteries for electric vehicles, briefly traded at $US101,365 ($137,447 ) per tonne, nearly double its 2007 peak.
It later eased to $US82,195.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and Western sanctions against Moscow have caused turmoil in the markets, sending the prices of everything from oil to gas to aluminium to wheat soaring, while equities have fallen.

Russia is the world’s third-biggest producer of nickel, noted Benjamin Louvet, analyst at OFI Asset Management.

“For now, the main producers of metals in the country have been spared by sanctions, but many companies in this sector are headed by oligarchs close to Vladimir Putin,” Mr Louvet said.

“The impact of such sanctions could be significant, as 37 percent of Russian exports go to the Netherlands and 16 percent to Germany,” he said.

I don’t know why but if it is true that the people get the government they deserve then the Russians must be among the most evil and dumb bastards in all of history.

I lived and worked in Russia for a couple of years in 2000’s. I know it was a while ago but somethings just don’t change as I’ve found from people I still keep in touch with there. Russians are a generally patriotic people so it is foolhardy to impose sanctions to the extent of impoverishing them. This will only make them more insular and distrusting of the west. They aren’t stupid either, they know Putin isn’t a “good guy” but they do trust his love of “Mother Russia”. Mostly they feel helpless with the governance structure they have because I sense they think the way to resolve it will involve lots of violence and massive economic upheaval- and every Russian knows their terrible violent history and the enormous hardship that brings with it. Decades long.

“the people get the government they deserve” Russia has only known tyranny, despotism and autocracy for several hundred years. Russians have never experienced a true working sustained democracy themselves or the fruits of it. Russians have been and are conditioned to fall in behind a strong leader. Like it or not. That is not something they “deserve” which really is just being flippant. Russians by and large are thoughtful , educated proud people. Decent folk. They are victims of their brutal history. So in many cases their approach is every man for himself which makes it extremely difficult to muster and effective numerically significant opposition to the current regime. And looking at what the perverse, weak and utterly corrupt west has become, we are no longer that shining attractive alternate example we once were. You only have to look at that senile pervert in the WH and our embrace of all the deviant LGBTQI garbage to see how low the west has fallen.

Fascinating story. Two weeks before it happened The Marine Corps University (ie. the university of the USMC, there is one) did a wargame of Russia and Ukraine.

The Wargame Before the War: Russia Attacks Ukraine – War on the Rocks (2 Mar)

In the two weeks prior to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Marine Corps University ran a four-day wargame to simulate the first several days of just such an invasion. One of us ran the wargame while the others played the Ukrainian and Russian forces. Despite a few stark differences, the current Russian offensive is playing out in ways eerily similar to that simulation.

By the time the wargame ended, the overall situation appeared very much as it does on the ground in Ukraine, with only two major deviations. First, the Russians have pushed harder out of Belarus to the west of the Dneiper — north of Kyiv — to strike the city from the rear. And secondly, the Russian assault in Kherson was temporarily halted, as the axis of advance in the south for a time turned northeast toward Mariupol. Both of these actions were, however, discussed by the players in the wargame.

RTWT, it’s long. The essence is that the guys in the wargame emphasised destruction of Ukrainian air and AA assets first, and delayed the ground invasion to allow that. Which then gave much better air support for the subsequent ground phase a few days later (game time). In the real invasion the RGS seem to have gone all-in on the decapitation option, and went in fast and hard on the ground, only to get bogged down. But aside from that the similarities are uncanny.

SARS-CoV-2 infection and persistence throughout the human body and brain

OVID-19 is known to cause multi-organ dysfunction1-3 in acute infection, with prolonged symptoms experienced by some patients, termed Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 (PASC)4-5. However, the burden of infection outside the respiratory tract and time to viral clearance is not well characterized, particularly in the brain3,6-14. We performed complete autopsies on 44 patients with COVID-19 to map and quantify SARS-CoV-2 distribution, replication, and cell-type specificity across the human body, including brain, from acute infection through over seven months following symptom onset. We show that SARS-CoV-2 is widely distributed, even among patients who died with asymptomatic to mild COVID-19, and that virus replication is present in multiple extrapulmonary tissues early in infection. Further, we detected SARS-CoV-2 RNA in multiple anatomic sites, including regions throughout the brain, for up to 230 days following symptom onset. Despite extensive distribution of SARS-CoV-2 in the body, we observed a paucity of inflammation or direct viral cytopathology outside of the lungs. Our data prove that SARS-CoV-2 causes systemic infection and can persist in the body for months.

This is the sort of shit the left-wing media vomits:

Climate change: Five things we’ve learned from the IPCC report

1- Things are way worse than we thought

2 – Loss and damage gets scientific backing

3 – Technology is not a silver bullet (the technology is of the sort of machines to suck CO2 out of the air!)

4 – Cities offer hope (because they will rely on renewable energy!)

5 – The small window is closing fast. (8 years according to the demented squirrel, AOC)

Investing in nature will also be a bulwark against the worst, says the IPCC, which calls for 30-50% of the world to be conserved.

“Nature can be our saviour,” said Inger Anderson, the head of the UN Environment Programme.

“But only if we save it first.”

How many of them had received the mRNA poison clot shots? I bet they didn’t mention that.

And looking at what the perverse, weak and utterly corrupt west has become, we are no longer that shining attractive alternate example we once were. You only have to look at that senile pervert in the WH and our embrace of all the deviant LGBTQI garbage to see how low the west has fallen.

But Makka we are still far better off than the Russians. A people have to transcend their history. Australia did that. I think the LGBTQI has gone too far but I don’t see it as a threat to our way of life. Trump, Biden, May, Johnston, Turnbull, Morrison, none of them have impressed me but a modern democracy is more than its leaders.

People here keep saying the west has fallen but crime rates are very low, unemployment is low, even the poor can afford big screen TVs, computers, and mobile phones. Infrastructure is the best it has ever been, cars now have 7 year warranties when 2 years was the norm, the populace is more educated than at any time in history, modern medicine is advancing at record rates, life expectancy is still rising which is almost miraculous because it must top at in the very near future. Uni of Melbourne banned by Snow Medical Research Foundation

One of Australia’s largest private benefactors to university research, the Snow Medical Research Foundation, has banned the University of Melbourne from future grants because its latest honorary doctorates awarded last week went to six white men, leaving out women and people from other diverse backgrounds.

Speaking on International Women’s Day, Snow Medical chair Tom Snow said he was “deeply upset” by the university’s decision to go ahead with the ceremony, which was shown in a photo on the university’s website.

“That photo was sending a message to every young woman trying to achieve in their fields that no matter how hard you work, white men will be awarded ahead of you,” he said. “This is their most prestigious award. It should be an opportunity to inspire.”

Mr Snow, a former University of Melbourne Rhodes Scholar whose family owns Canberra Airport, is major figure in Australian medical research. In the past four years, his foundation has committed nearly $100m to research projects, with University of Melbourne researchers receiving $16m, and other major grants going to Monash University, the Australian National University and medical research institutions.

In a further blow to the University of Melbourne, political leaders from both sides backed Snow Medical’s action.

Opposition education spokeswoman Tanya Plibersek said she sincerely hoped it would lead to change. “Good on Snow Medical for taking a stand like this. There are many women and people of diverse backgrounds who deserve to have their achievements recognised too,” she said.

Federal Financial Services Minister Jane Hume, a University of Melbourne graduate, said she expected the university to do better. “I find it incredible they couldn’t find as least one female recipient. This perpetuates the problem which several University of Melbourne academics can tell you (about),” she said.

Doug Hilton, head of WEHI medical research institute which has close ties with the University of Melbourne, said Snow Medical’s move had sent repercussions through the Australian academic community. “To me it’s fabulous when a foundation or funding organisation links their culture or aspirations to the money,” he said.

University of Sydney deputy vice-chancellor (research) Duncan Ivison said Snow Medical was a “really exceptional foundation” and its statement had given universities a “great challenge”.

“It provides a very strong incentive for universities to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. I’m sure Melbourne is really committed to addressing the issue.”

The essence is that the guys in the wargame emphasised destruction of Ukrainian air and AA assets first, and delayed the ground invasion to allow that.

SEAD is a basic doctrine of modern warfare the Russians seem to have neglected.

Or did they want to avoid associated civilian casualties?

Either way it’s made their task much more difficult.

Russia has only known tyranny, despotism and autocracy for several hundred years. Russians have never experienced a true working sustained democracy themselves or the fruits of it.

Excellent comment Makka.

On recommendation of a Cat, I think Zulu, I read this book on the lead up to WW1 and the Russian Revolution.

Towards the Flame: Empire, War and the End of Tsarist Russia (Lieven)

Two things struck me. One was the fact that Russia was a serf based feudal country as late as 1900. Two was that when the Tsar attempted to rectify this situation and educate the peasants with village schools, the newly minted Marxists moved right in as the village teachers. So like Australia today.

The upshot is that democracy cannot ever be imposed from above, it is only ever an emergent. To emerge it must have certain basic structures in place for a long time: a society which distrusts authority, a lot of real education, and a Christian ethos or something like it. Without all those it seems futile. In Russia in the late 19th and early 20thCs there was a Christian ethos, but it was white-anted by the new Marxist learnings. And that didn’t get better when Lenin’s bunch got in. Since the fall of the CCCP there’s been a grass roots improvement in education and distrust of authority, but unfortunately oligarchs have pretty much captured the place and the people don’t get much of a look in to running the country these days.

I’ll leave this comment with the first few lines of Lieven’s introduction, which are creepy:

As much as anything, the First World War turned on the fate of Ukraine. To an English-speaking audience, this statement will seem final confirmation that most professors are crazy. No Allied soldier believed he was risking his life over Ukraine. Few of them had heard of the place. … Nevertheless, my statement is not as far-fetched as it seems. Without Ukraine’s population, industry, and agriculture, early-twentieth century Russia would have ceased to be a great power.

There you go. WW1 is still going on as I write.

A gardening accident the other day had me whisked off to a major regional city hospital where my great ambo spent many hours with me & two other patients in the halls of emergency. Taking obs, administering meds, keeping our morale up & pushing to get us seen to.

The halls were full of ambos and their patients on trollies.

The further I progressed along the care path, the less of it there was.
Severe understaffing was the reason.

By the second day there was only one nurse in all of emergency treatment.
This left me immobile & alone in a room without a call buzzer, pain relief, food or water for 9 hours.
I also had to ask about a tetanus shot 3 times as they kept saying they’d do that next and forgetting again.

The wound was not cleaned up & I wasn’t prescribed antibiotics until I got to see my doctor 3 days later.

Again, it was a gardening accident with a deep puncture wound from a very heavy rock in a garden bed, which would normally call for tetanus & antibiotics straight up as I’d had neither for decades.

That my blood was shooting into the air, thick fast like a fountain was good as far as pumping out some muck but the wound was left uncleaned & rebandaged after it did some more spraying of blood around the hospital & then allowed to ‘seal’ under pressure, on top of bone chips mixed with garden muck that felt like someone twirling a red hot rusty poker inside me.

Fortunately my doctor & his nurse were great, as are my family, without who’s instant & expert first aid I would have bled to death and they’d have got their inheritance early but instead they’re being excellent 24/7 ‘nurses’.

Correct, which is why I found this vapid statement “it’s no threat to our way of life” bullshit. Only six years ago, if someone had said that a man who simply identifies as a woman and thus should be able to enter a women’s space such as a toilet and change room, where there are also young children, you would have been rightly laughed out of polite company. Easy. VAIDS. The immune system is much weaker from the clot shots hence the body can no longer naturally keep the disease under control.

Upon return to Australia I’ve never been asked any question by Border Farce, beyond “These details on your arrival card, are they correct?”

I got bailed up for the third degree from a Australian Border Force officer in Melbourne, asking me all sorts of stupid questions about my reasons for travel.

Not sure I’d answer much more than; name, rank, serial no. – if they ever asked.

I’ve seen Border Farce in action, they’re very close to, nay they are, the most inept, stupid, un-Australian commenwealth dept.

A Large Scale False Flag Cyber-Attack Now Imminent?

A false flag attack on the US or Europe (or both) is now imminent, and what I mean by “false flag” is that the attack will be designed to benefit the globalists and not necessarily the country that is blamed for it.

TUE MAR 8, AT 9:00 PM

In early 2021 at the height of media generated covid fear the World Economic Forum released a series of panel discussions and white papers outlining a “pandemic” of a completely different nature; what they referred to as an impending “cyber-attack with covid like characteristics.” The program agenda at the WEF was titled “Cyber Polygon” and headed with unsettling zeal by globalist Klaus Schwab.

The WEF and Schwab are best known for two things:

Their involvement in a war game called Event 201 which simulated the global spread of a coronavirus pandemic. This simulation was held two months BEFORE the real thing happened in early 2020 and a majority of the measures played out in the game were in fact implemented almost immediately following the outbreak.
Klaus Schwab’s excited announcement that the pandemic was the perfect “opportunity” to institute what he calls the “Great Reset” of the global economy along with the rise of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is the complete centralization of world trade and governance into a global socialist empire where you will “own nothing, have no privacy, and like it.”
The fact that the WEF was so prescient when it came to the covid pandemic was quite a miracle. It was almost as if they knew it was going to happen, and their political friends in various nations wasted no time carrying out their draconian mandate policies around the world. But something happened that seemed to throw a monkey wrench into the plan –

In the days before covid (BC) the number of ‘backpackers’ (i.e. holders of a Working Holiday visa) in the country hovered around 200,000 – 250,000
Since the border (haha) re-opened there have been a bit more than 30,000 such visas granted.
To date somewhere between 1,000 – 1,500 have arrived.

There’s a fair way to go. Plus Australia has some self-inflicted PR fallout, internationally.

‘I’m more Bob Hawke or John Howard, and less Bill Shorten’: Anthony Albanese

Simon Benson
Political Editor
36 minutes ago March 8, 2022
26 Comments

Anthony Albanese is pledging to end Labor’s class and climate wars, govern in the style of Bob Hawke and John Howard if elected, and put the cost of living and wages growth at the centre of Labor’s economic policy – in a re-run of former Labor leader Kevin Rudd’s 2007 promise to be a fiscal conservative.

In a sharp rebuttal of the platform Labor took to the last election in 2019, the Opposition Leader is seeking to assure the business community that he is pro-enterprise and will seek a new accord with unions to grow the economy and lift productivity.

The pre-election pitch to voters and business that he can be trusted to manage the economy comes as the Coalition sharpens its attack to portray Mr Albanese as a class-war warrior from the left side of politics who has a history of supporting higher taxation.

Mr Albanese is promising to pursue regulatory reform for business and cut red tape, while seeking to “rediscover the spirit of consensus” between Labor’s industrial wing and corporate Australia to encourage profits and put wages growth as a central theme of the Labor Party’s federal election pitch. He is also pushing back against criticism that he has not held an economic portfolio and is unqualified to be prime minister, saying his role as infrastructure minister in the Rudd government is qualification enough.

In a speech to be delivered to a Sydney summit on Wednesday, the Opposition Leader will say that he is seeking to reform the economy in the same fashion as former Liberal prime minister John Howard and Labor prime minister Bob Hawke.

In a veiled swipe at his predecessor Bill Shorten, he will say that Labor has spent the past three years being “diligent” in trying to restore trust with the business community, claiming company profits will be a key driver of growth.

“A former Liberal prime minister often said that in the race for economic reform, you would never reach the finish line because it was always advancing and there would always be something else to do to make our economy stronger and more productive,” Mr Albanese will say in his address to the business summit.

“I agree. It’s always a race – the race for improvement. But the current Liberal government has abandoned the field.”

Mr Albanese will also make the pledge to model a future Labor government on the Hawke/Keating era, rather than the Whitlam legacy that underpinned Labor’s 2019 election campaign pitch.

“If Labor is successful in the coming federal election, I will take my lead from Bob Hawke and his successor Paul Keating,” Mr Albanese will say.

“I want to bring Australians together to build a better future. We must put this nation on a growth trajectory that will lift living standards and underpin prosperity in coming decades.

“After nearly a decade of division and policy inertia under the Liberals and Nationals, collaboration lights our way forward.

“We must rediscover the spirit of consensus that former Labor prime minister Bob Hawke used to bring together governments, trade unions, businesses and civil society around their shared aims of growth and job creation.

“He brokered reforms that yielded benefits for all parties – not just better wages for workers, but stronger profits for businesses, along with the introduction (of) landmark reforms adding to the social dividend, such as Medicare and superannuation.

“The result was three decades of continuous economic growth.”

Briefing by the Chief of Russian NBC Protection troops
The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation has repeatedly drawn attention to the biological programmes implemented by the Pentagon in the post-Soviet area.
Including the territory of Ukraine that has united a chain of more than 30 biological laboratories divided into those for scientific research and for sanitary-epidemiological investigations.

Those works have been ordered by the Defence Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). A firm affiliated to the defence department (Black and Veatch above all others) are involved in the implementation of the projects.

The works refer to three main branches. In the first place, it refers to the biological situation observation in the areas of possible deployment of the NATO military contingents, according to the Pentagon. In the second place, it is dedicated to collecting and transporting the strains of dangerous microorganisms. The third branch of activity refers to scientific investigations on potential biological weapons agents that are specific for that region, possessing natural focuses and able to be transmitted to humans.

For example, since 2021, the Pentagon has been carrying out the project called ‘Diagnosis, observation and prevention of zoonotic diseases in the Armed Forces of Ukraine’ funded with 11.8 million dollars.

In 2020-2021, the German Ministry of Defence examined the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, leptospirosis, meningitis, hantaviruses causative agents within the Ukrainian-German initiative for biological security on the external borders of the European Union.

Under the pretext of testing agents for the treatment and prevention of the coronavirus infection, a few thousand of serum samples taken from the infected individuals that refer to the Slavic ethnicity have been transported from Ukraine to Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.

At the same time, the activity of the biological laboratories that, according to our data, has been intensified since 2014 and the so-called Ukrainian healthcare system ‘reforming’ programme implemented by the United States have led to an unmanageable increase of hazardous and economically important infections morbidity.

Thus there has been noted an increase of rubella, diphtheria and tuberculosis cases in Ukraine. The incidence of measles has increased more than 100 times. The World Health Organization has declared Ukraine a country with a high risk of the poliomyelitis outbreak.

We are considered that in the year of 2007 a strain of African swine fever with high contagiousness was constructed in the Georgian biological laboratory which is subordinate to Pentagon. It`s spread caused significant economic damage to a number of states including Ukraine and Poland and excluded them from a number of pork exporters.

The Department of the Chief of the Russian troops NBC protection constantly analyzes the biological situation on the territory of Ukraine.

According to our data an emergency phasing out of the biological programmes takes place. The analysed documents confirm that Ukrainian Health Ministry has set a task to completely destroy the bio-agents in the laboratories since 24th of February.

At the same time the analysis of the instructions given to the laboratory officials indicates that liquidation procedure is aimed at the irrevocable destruction of the collections. Apparently, everything necessary for continuation of the implementation of the military biological program has already been taken out of Ukraine.

The analysis of the acts of destruction shows that work was carried out with pathogenes of plague, anthrax and brucellosis in the Lviv biological laboratory, pathogens of diphtheria, salmonellosis and dysentery in laboratories in Kharkov and Poltava. Here are some of them: only in Lviv 232 containers with the casuative agent of leptospirosis, 30 containers with tularemia, 10 with containers brucellosis, 5 containers with plague were destroyed. In total more than 320 containers. The nomenclature and excessive number of bio-pathogens indicate that the work was carried out within the framework of military biological programs.

The curators from the Pentagon understand that if these collections get to Russian experts a fact of violation of the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological and Toxin Weapons by Ukraine and the USA will most likely be confirmed. Namely: carrying out work to enhance the pathogenic properties of microorganisms with usage of synthetic biology methods.

Only this can explain a haste with which the liquidation was carried out.

This is only a small part of documents. We continue the work and will inform you.
