TheirABC is still infuriated by locals and volunteers helping themselves and others during natural disasters. The Gummint should have done almost everything. They have now located whingers (as usual, very selectively) called ‘communities’. Yep, there is yet another anonymous source to join the usual suspects like ‘some’ and ‘sources who did not wish to be named’ and ‘sources in the (insert) Party’ and all the rest.

But they’ve gone a step further this time. Check this out:

Communities claim the flooding emergency in the New South Wales Northern Rivers has exposed an over-reliance on volunteers that needs to be urgently addressed.

Authorities believe one woman has died in the disaster in Mullumbimby, north of Lismore.

To the sub-literates being well paid by us to produce this rubbish – ‘communities’ are not capable of claiming anything. This incoherent nonsense just demonstrates that you cannot be taken seriously.

I included the second para to highlight how clumsy and stupid they are. We are told nothing about this woman’s death – in fact it is not even certain that she has died as a result of the floods. But, they stuck it in to the top of the story, presumably to bolster the notion that if she died as a result of the floods, it is the Gummint’s fault.

Quoting a few people who support your story is not journalism, and those selected sources are not ‘communities’.

Trial fallout continues….

Mr Rolfe said his son was still waiting on paperwork to see if he could return to work but doubted he would want to continue as an NT Police officer.

“But I can’t imagine Zach returning while you have a man with the level of integrity of Chalker as police commissioner.

“The Northern Territory public is made to decide, do you want someone with Zach Rolfe’s integrity, or do you want Jamie Chalker?

“They need a leader that’s on the ground, not ready to tee off on the third.”

Is this French study re COVID being in blood collected way before COVID was a thing kosher?

To me, it’s been a mystery why Australia’s own CSL hasn’t been more transparent or helpful on the issue.
After all they paid over half a bill cash to buy a collections business in Wuhan years before COVID.
Wouldn’t that be a gold mine of information?
Wonder why they haven’t said a peep about it.

From the Oz In community, you have to realise that we have almost the bongo drums,” Holland said
It’s like they know exactly where we are, they know what we are feeling and they don’t need the internet to know what’s going on in community. Information just diffuses really quickly.

Right. So the community knew what they were feeling but couldn’t be arsed going around and getting the yoofs to stop terrorising the medical staff. FFS , not responsibility with that community. IMHO it was either a death or a rape waiting to happen. Just a matter of when.

I don’t think many of us do understand Rosie. And let’s take a look at George Floyd, a thug, a sleaze and an all round loser, a man who once shoved a gun into a woman’s pregnant stomach. This is the progressive left for you in 2022, they now make heroes of scum. They’ve moved on from men like Martin Luther King Jnr to the likes of Floyd and Kumanjayi Walker. Why? Because such low life men suit their ideological narratives. The same left that talk endlessly about bullying, sexual assault, rape and domestic violence, yet laud low life characters like Walker and Floyd as victims and heroes.

I read about Walker’s life in the weekend Oz…..I had to stop because it was just too awful and dysfunctional. This is not how human beings are supposed to behave.

I find it amusing that The Malcolm Guardian and other far-left news outlets are now pushing the narrative about Kumanjayi Walker’s family wanting answers in the wake of Rolfe’s acquittal. Why didn’t the family intervene and demand answers from Kumanjayi Walker when he was bashing his girlfriend senseless? Why didn’t Walker’s family intervene when Walker’s mother was addicted to glue sniffing? And I could go on and on and on. The truth is that intervening and demanding answers for personal behaviour is just so unfashionable. The left don’t like such quaint notions as accountability and responsibility because that would mean they’d have no “victims” to parade for ideological purposes.

“A second study by Harvard University showed a relevant increase of hospital traffic in the Wuhan region, evaluated by satellite imagery, and COVID-19 symptoms–related queries in search engines, since autumn 2019.11 These findings suggest that the virus may have already been circulating at the time of the outbreak in several countries”
The second article also suggests that elderly and frail people in Italy were being misdiagnosed with ‘aggressive forms of seasonal flu’ from November 2019.

Blaming the white man fattens the paypacket. Personal responsibility is not an earner. When you condition entire populations to depend on someone else, you can’t expect anything different.

The ABC take on volunteering and community support in the floods is a such a conditioning story – we can’t depend on volunteers, government must “help”. It becomes self-fulfilling. If volunteers aren’t valued, they wither away. This is happening in many areas right now. A friend who is a volunteer at a local nursing home has discovered that many of the ladies she relies on to fill the roster just aren’t going back.

I see Mark Knight has followed hook, line and sinker (and fisherman) the nonsense that the increased oil prices are because of the diabolical Putin.

Next he will be telling us that inflation is a good thing.

Broelman is still blaming Morro for the floods. Has he turned down any request for assistance from the states? I am certain he cannot just universally insert the federal government into state situations. Like Putin, Morro is a wretched man upon whom the failings of others are being heaped and these others are getting off scot free.

Far from keeping the bastards honest, the mainstream media eggs them on to damage our already delicately balanced set of power sources.

That’s not quite correct Bruce, France had been easing restrictions progressively while I was there and flagged this a few weeks ago as hospitalisation rates reduced. Nothing to do with Ukraine however probably a lot to do with Macron announcing a second bid on 3 March.
Despite wall to wall coverage in French newspapers I didn’t get the impression there was huge interest in the Ukraine war, a very modest turn out at the Angoulême rally and the Paris one was very very modest by Paris standards.

Indeed…but the family are themselves dysfunctional.

These people are kept in these dysfunctional ‘communities’ as fodder to perpetuate the myth (only believed in the far away urban centres) of a unique Aboriginal culture and sensibility, which is suffering from one malady only – colonialism. Since the colonialists are already here. The damage done. The only thing left to do is perpetually expatiation in the form of funding an elite class of activists who swear they only have Aborigines’ best interests in mind. Swear.

Tribal life was hard. In Hobbes’ oft quoted phrase, “Nasty, brutish, and short”. But it also constrained behaviours and gave them focus. They did not get hammered every night. They could not spend their lives just sitting around bored. Even though they were savage enough in the punishments meted out to women they still had a value – not equal to men, but still a reason not to whip them to death with an electrical cord. They had to be wary of provoking other bands because wound that gets infected could be fatal.

And everywhere they were haunted by spirits.

TheirABC is still infuriated by locals and volunteers helping themselves and others during natural disasters. The Gummint should have done almost everything.

I remember after the earthquake in Kobe in the 90’s it was the volunteers getting things done. I especially recall the sight of all these volunteers on bicycles riding into stricken areas carrying bits of food and blankets and…water.

There was no government to be seen.

The PM (Murayama) himself only found out about the quake when Tony Blair woke him up with a phone call asking if there was anything Britain could offer. The Prefectural government was reluctant to admit they needed help – protecting their turf. The American military stationed in Japan offered blankets, tents, and food – and were refused.

Government is a clunky, inefficient, self-serving machine riven by petty fiefdoms and strait-jacketed by procedures.

When a flood hits a guy in a small motorboat would be what I was hoping for, not an overarching strategy with deference to diversity and inclusion and decisions by people who have never even been to the afflicted region before, but instead base decisions on maps they don’t understand rather than terrain, and rule books, and always mindful of who owes who favours.

The only virtue of government is that it can be used for things where no part of the community should have more control – policing, law courts, military etc. And as we see, a demographic has formed within the government which now uses government organs for its own use – and government has becomes useless as a result.

The ‘fog of war’ concept was originally thought of as relating to officers making decisions on the ground during battles, and without necessarily being appraised of broader events.

Now it’s about the propaganda. Although he didn’t invent it, Goebbels understood this when he created the untermeschen concept. In Beevor’s Stalingrad there is an account of a Panzer commander looking at crying Russian children in a destroyed village, and expressing amazement that Russian children cried ‘just like ours’.

He said he was there to speak about Covid and the forecast that the number of cases could double in the next four to six weeks.

NSW Minister for Health Brad Hazzard has warned that Covid has not gone away.

The minister encouraged people get a vaccine booster shot, especially if they are immunocompromised.

Langdon then asked him if NSW could see some Covid restrictions coming back.

Mr Hazzard was visibly relieved that he had managed to steer the conversation back to what was, for him, safer territory.

He said NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant and he had said many times ‘when you’re in close proximity with others it still makes sense to wear a mask’.

From the Daily Mail link.

First, Stefanovic has already broken the Health-Media nexus by telling Coatesworth on air that he’s “over it”. This was last week.

Now that mediocrity, Hazzard, is trying to regain prominence and re-align Covid front and centre in public perception.

Hazzard and Chant both sense that their unmitigated power over the populace has ebbed with the flood waters, and they don’t like it. No wonder Perrottet did a little white anting over QR codes. The two pseuds think they are more powerful than the premier himself – so back in your box.

The frantic straw clutching is obvious. Sadly, it is getting through in some areas. I was asked yesterday what I thought about the “new variant”. Just laughed and said I was awaiting hospitalisation and/or death figures before I decided to take it seriously.

But by all means wear your your mask if you want to follow the Cult of Chant.

Yes. And it’s interesting how propaganda, carefully dished out, can transport the “battle” to dinner tables and boardrooms and now, in the C21st to the internet. Now it’s not really a “fog” of lack of information – it’s a “fog” of too much.

they bounced that young man around different families all his life, it is clear he was an absolute menace to the community who committed violence against his girlfriend that would not be tolerated in civilized society but they want to pretend he is an Aussie George Floyd.

Nobody bounced him anywhere. He managed to do that all on his own.

Not one – ONE – of the people in front of that courthouse was prepared to have that little rat in their home. As is the case in these indig arrangements, it defaults to nanna.

Smacking his girlfriend up was the least of the community’s worries. The community was enraged that he was back there, because he had form for smashing up everything in sight for fun. He wrecked the entire community’s water supply once, and he alone was the reason there were no nurses any more. Because he kept trying to break into their homes and rape them, telling them he was going to do it.

Bush nurses like this are as tough as sandpaper, and they’d never seen anything like it. They weren’t going back.

So when the jacks inevitably shot him, they had to get hold of the clinic at ‘nearby’ Yuelamu, which is over an hour away. They turned up an hour and a half later, and when they got to Yuendumu their troopy was smashed up by rocks with the nurses inside. By the same people who were on the courthouse steps, and for two reasons:

1. It was the nurses’ fault they weren’t there immediately, somehow; and more importantly

If the batching story is true, it means:

– Pfizer didn’t know what amount would be effective
– what amount would be safe
– they decided to experiment on the entire population in real time.

This is a scandal and is probably, without disclosure, a crime.

And actually, if you’d lost a family member on MH17, you’d probably appreciate Abbott’s statement.

As PM at the time Abbott would have had a rarer insight into events – would have been given access to information that did not leach through to the general public.

Maybe that is why he is speaking out – he has something to say that others do not know. The various iniquities of vax mandates and so on are out there. He has nothing new to add.

His postponing (or reneging if you think that was really his intent) on winding back s18c is often touted as a great betrayal. I personally think it was a postponement. He was proceeding with winding it back right up until Brandis publicly declared that this would give bigots the right to be bigots. Well, we now know that Brandis was not planning on helping Abbott. Once the ABC and Fauxfacts had one of Abbott’s own ministers saying they were going to empower bigotry it would be time to go to town.

I think free speech is the most fundamental right – it is how all other rights are asserted and defended – so it is not something I would glibly see wiped away.

But here is the controversial bit – how many people had had s18C applied against them. Bolta came a cropper. He would be the most high profile case. Certainly I did not hear of a spate of cases against other people, much less ordinary people. The legislation affected a particular sphere of discourse. It must still be wiped away, but as a matter of pragmatism a temporary defeat must be accepted before a better campaign is launched in more propitious circumstances.

Abbott was a PM. Not a President. All he could ever have enacted was what his cabinet would accept. And as we now know they were dripping with Trumble-ism. Leadership as the art of the possible, and when you look at who Abbott had to work with…

You can complain that Abbott did not do everything so he was a disappointment. I personally think that unrealistic. You can complain that he did nothing. I am not sure that is true. We saw what happened before and after him to see how bad things can be. He had some successes and some failures. I would have liked more successes but there you are.

As for Palmer, he is a mouth. His one foray into political deeds landed us that motley collection of circus freaks and we are still listening to that awful Tasmanian woman dragging her nails down a blackboard.

The consideration I am giving to Fat Bastard’s party now is in spite of him. I see him as a potential weakness. He has previously talked freedom but acted purely self-interest. Putting Craig Kelly to the front is not, I hope, just a trick being played on us and Craig.

“During the evaluation process for provisional registration, the TGA reviews data to confirm that the manufacturing process is well controlled and sets up how the quality of the vaccine will be maintained in future batches.

To ensure these standards are maintained, the TGA will conduct a batch release assessment process for every batch of vaccine supplied in Australia. Every vaccine batch must pass the assessment before it is released for use.

A batch release assessment involves one or both of the following steps:

A review of documents supplied by the Sponsor which describe the manufacturing process (how the vaccine is made, tested, shipped and stored)
TGA laboratory testing (and/or review of testing results from an overseas regulatory laboratory that has been recognised by the TGA) to ensure the vaccine has been manufactured according to the required standards”

MH17 while being sad for the people involved is a nothingburger compared to the absolute disgrace of old people dying in Victoria from being imprisoned by that sick fuck Dan. Nobody responsible? It is obvious to me very few actually cared about them. Australia is going to be so upset when Russia gives them the big FU over MH17. Flying over an area where missiles are being fired is a great business model, (why didn’t I think of it) Malaysia Airlines not responsible. Who was flying the plane. Gosh we saved a bit of fuel there shame about the dead passengers and the plane. Everywhere we see Governments having all the say but none of the responsibility but MH17 is Russia’s fault.

Too many valid questions, but as we will never get our hands on the original conversations, transcripts, contracts, raw data etc. we will only ever be able to speculate as to the answers and if there’s one thing we’ve learned over the last couple of years is that even when we do have original conversations, transcripts, contracts, raw data etc., if they don’t support the UN compliant Govt line, it must always be tossed out until some other original conversations, transcripts, contracts, raw data etc. can ‘debunk ‘ it and continue to support the UN compliant Govt line.

There are too many laws & rules that are applied too partially to make reasonable public debate about anything possible anymore.

We are at the point where the best we can do is post information and pray that some won’t be sucked in by those who demand people don’t read what ‘they’/the marketers they work for, haven’t personally approved.

Discussing the evils of the professional social media influencer industry, last night, I was again reminded of a group who’d been employed for 7 years to win the trust of people on popular forums in preparation for the release of a product in development (in the health industry), so that they could knock their competition out of the water with floods of bullshit (from “proven trustworthy” people), that would be taken as gospel.

One of the propaganda team had a bout of conscience and explained the social media whisper/nudge marketing industry he could no longer be a part of.

However, it’s to counter bouts of conscience in individuals that propaganda companies run teams and lots of socks across all platforms.

The rest of the social media ‘community’ gets a front row seat in watching the savage destruction of human individuals being honest and know they never want that to happen to them.

The good news.

Steve Harrigan Returns From Ukraine With a Somber Message About the Situation
March 14, 2022 | Sundance | 199 Comments

Fox News correspondent Steve Harrigan returns from Ukraine with a somber message about the situation and likely future. Harrigan notes that Russian victory in Ukraine is a foregone conclusion – Ukraine will be flattened if needed. However, that outcome comes at a serious cost.

The war inside Ukraine will wage on for years as an insurgency against Vladimir Putin. The western alliance will spend trillions if needed. NATO will kill as many Ukrainians and mercenary units as needed in order to battle Vladimir Putin in a proxy war. The industrial war machine will gleefully churn out the material needed for the DC based political war machine to purchase. First, WATCH:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8zi6cx6pAw

Harrigan is correct, however, he missed the biggest tell-tale sign of all. Where are the peacekeepers? Where are the diplomatic voices, the ranks of the prudent and pragmatic political voices who focus on stopping the death? Where are those voices? Where is the faith-based voice asking for leaders to stop, breathe, meet and seek a solution without further war?

Those voices are silent because the western motive is to create a long-term insurgent war in Ukraine. The geopolitical system views this as an existential battle against Russia. Both sides in this conflict view this as a zero-sum contest. The NATO alliance doesn’t view Volodymyr as a hero, he’s a tool.

If Zelenskyy were to walk toward a negotiated ceasefire, the bullet that kills him would come from the rear. That’s how corrupt this conflict is.

THE CANCELLATION OF RUSSIAN CULTURE
by Gary Saul Morson
3 . 14 . 22

Indeed, Russian culture itself has become a target. Russian artists who lived long before the birth of Putin, or the creation of the Soviet secret police that trained him, have been cancelled. In Italy, writer Paolo Nori’s lectures on Dostoevsky were “postponed.” “This is to avoid any controversy,” explained the email he received, “especially internally, during a time of strong tensions.” Nori responded: “I realize what is happening in Ukraine is horrible, and I feel like crying just thinking about it. But what is happening in Italy is ridiculous. . . . Not only is being a living Russian wrong in Italy, but also being a dead Russian. That an Italian university would ban a course on an author like Dostoevsky is unbelievable.” After a backlash, the university reversed its decision.

But numerous cancellations have not been reversed. In Belgium, a Stravinsky concert was cancelled. In Wales, the Cardiff Philharmonic removed a Tchaikovsky program. In the Netherlands, the Harlaam Philharmonic, explaining that it “would be inappropriate to celebrate Russian music,” cancelled a mini festival featuring Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky. “They are afraid of threats. But you shouldn’t succumb to that,” Russian expert Michel Krielaars observed. “These seem like Soviet practices.” Are we becoming more like Russia every day?

– Pfizer didn’t know – what amount would be safe

Is there any significant difference between Moderna’s ingredients and Pfizers?
If not then everyone who took Moderna’s jab is triply screwed as that had ~ 3x the active ingredient dose per jab than Pfizer’s.

On the other hand, incorrect hasty injection technique is still proposed as a large contributing cause of the side-effects that happened from mRNA jabs in the medium term.
This leads to a testable hypothesis. It would be interesting to see if these illnesses occurred from both Pfizer and Moderna where they were delivered at mass vaccination centres where the public were processed like cattle by poorly trained staff, but did not occur so much if the vaccine was administered at doctors and pharmacists where the pace of jabbing was slower and the training was higher regardless of whether the jab was Moderna/Pfizer/AZ.
I don’t know, but if any of you have seen a study like that please post.

What if a Greens voter’s third cousin once read a pamphlet handed out by a UAP member? ScoMo has the right idea when he continuously apologises and compromises to Greens and Labor voters. They have nothing to say, unless like Frank the mighty road warrior, he’s making shit up.

See Frank’s a hater of men.
He’s never been sure if he’s one of them.
He sees people driving big trucks and he feels challenged.
Hence he made the entire story up.

Well here’s something for you.
I am a very very good old school interstate truck driver.
Do you know why?
Because I was trained right and trained to be a nanna.
That’s tight, I’m a nanna on the road and proud of it.
I’m the rare truckie you meet who never has thongs on while driving, only in Road house showers.
Always dressed neat and tidy.
As clean as I can possibly be on the road.
Everything from torches to tools to clothes and spares are all in exactly the same spots and there is never even dirt on a dash board etc.
All for good reason.
Keeping things clean and tidy and well maintained helps when the often experienced “challenges come up”

The good Australian truckie is a bit of a nanna.
No one wants an adventure out there.
They happen anyway and must be kept to a minimum.

So those blokes Frank sees as tough are just men, doing their best and trying to earn a living. Not out to prove how big their dicks are.

Russia requests food assistance and other forms of aid from China during war in Ukraine (CNN, 15 Mar)

Russia has requested both military and financial assistance from China amid the conflict in Ukraine.

Among the assistance Russia requested was pre-packaged, non-perishable military food kits, known in the US as “meal, ready-to-eat,” or MREs, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

I have no idea what the PLA puts into their MREs. Szechuan-style combat rations might be quite yummy. Better than bully beef and biscuits. Or ham-and-egg.

Just stumbled across this – via The Critical Drinker and Elon Musk:

https://twitter.com/JackPosobiec/status/1503381029448564745

I am not one to often evoke the book 1984, but in this case there seems a true parallel.

In the book Winston (not our illustrious friend in QLD) experiences the jarring moment when the government suddenly starts talking about the ongoing war with Eurasia, and all the people around him scream and curse and condemn Eurasia. But Winston remember that last week they were railing against Eastasia. “We are at war with Eurasia. We have always been at war with Eurasia!”

Somehow the people had learned to ignore or forget the hours of fury, the endless propaganda, the repeated victories that brought final victory into their grasp – all about Eastasia.

So this guy, after a year of believing that oil prices have been pushed up by supply chain issues and righteous inflation, and that it is a good thing because it will stop people driving, on a word from the Biden admin, and completely forgetting that the price increases had been occurring steadily before February, blames Goldstein Putin.

His own memory and lived experience has made way for Da Narrative.

Grill’d torches vegan stores in Sydney and Melbourne

When Grill’d converted a store in Sydney and another in Melbourne last month into exclusively plant-based venues, Good Food pondered if a meatless burger store wouldn’t exclude some of its customer base?

Grill’d founder Simon Crowe didn’t seem too concerned, telling The Sydney Morning Herald: “We know and expect that we’re going to hurt our top line and our bottom line for these two restaurants.

Perhaps it hurt a little too much. When we visited the Darlinghurst store last week, it had jettisoned the Impossibly Grill’d branding and was once again a traditional Grill’d store. The company confirmed the Melbourne outlet had also reverted.

Grill’d, which maintains they were only ever pop-up concept stores, concedes it did receive some negative feedback from regular customers.

“We now think the way forward is not to convert existing restaurants but to open brand new locations with this concept,” a Grill’d spokeswoman says.
