Bill Shorten has urged Australians to buy electric cars because petrol prices are so high, while blaming Scott Morrison for the unaffordability of EVs.

This year electricity price rises are going to be huge. Gas prices are humungous ($11.50/GJ according to AEMO just now) and thermal coal prices are at stratospheric heights I wouldn’t’ve believed possible a few years ago.

Maybe Kevin can talk to ScoMo and get him to OK a few gas fracking wells and new coal mines. Also to prevent closure of Eraring and Liddell. I’m sure he feels great pain for the suffering of ordinary people whenever they get their electricity and gas bills.

Tits is an arsehole; the seat of Hunter will change from the liars to PHON. The issue will be however if rub and tug wins the supply of electricity not its cost. My prediction is, if rub and tug wins he will collude with matt fucking kean to close Liddell and Eraring ahead of schedule and can the proposed new Kurri gas plant and power rationing will follow within 1 month of Liddell’s closure.

Also I still think you’re being harsh on the London teaching hospitals and the ancient Scottish universities. Lots of Melbourne and Sydney graduates go to the UK for clinical training or postgraduate studies and they don’t all end up at the Radcliffe or Addenbrookes.

The Australian system has undoubtedly taken its toll. A contemporary of mine who works in the hospital system told me that there are still a reasonable number of “professional” (in the true sense) doctors in our hospitals but the overall ambience is getting more and more public service.

Religious Discrimination Bill Part 5/5 – Protestants can only ever be religious freedom losers

In the short term, Christians need to understand that the only political fix they can achieve in relation to their problems is to stop the rot: don’t make things worse.

Supporting the the Religious Discrimination Bill is the opposite of not making things worse.

But the real solution to this problem is to understand that there is only one Church any government can properly recognise as the true Christian religion: it is the Catholic Church.

This is an excellent breakdown.
Batteries, they do not make electricity – they store electricity produced elsewhere, primarily by coal, uranium, natural gas-powered plants, or diesel-fueled generators. So, to say an EV is a zero-emission vehicle is not at all valid.
Also, since forty percent of the electricity generated in the U.S. is from coal-fired plants, it follows that forty percent of the EVs on the road are coal-powered, do you see?”
Einstein’s formula, E=MC2, tells us it takes the same amount of energy to move a five-thousand-pound gasoline-driven automobile a mile as it does an electric one. The only question again is what produces the power? To reiterate, it does not come from the battery; the battery is only the storage device, like a gas tank in a car.
There are two orders of batteries, rechargeable, and single-use. The most common single-use batteries are A, AA, AAA, C, D. 9V, and lantern types. Those dry-cell species use zinc, manganese, lithium, silver oxide, or zinc and carbon to store electricity chemically. Please note they all contain toxic, heavy metals.
Rechargeable batteries only differ in their internal materials, usually lithium-ion, nickel-metal oxide, and nickel-cadmium. The United States uses three billion of these two battery types a year, and most are not recycled; they end up in landfills. California is the only state which requires all batteries be recycled. If you throw your small, used batteries in the trash, here is what happens to them.
All batteries are self-discharging. That means even when not in use, they leak tiny amounts of energy. You have likely ruined a flashlight or two from an old, ruptured battery. When a battery runs down and can no longer power a toy or light, you think of it as dead; well, it is not. It continues to leak small amounts of electricity. As the chemicals inside it run out, pressure builds inside the battery’s metal casing, and eventually, it cracks. The metals left inside then ooze out. The ooze in your ruined flashlight is toxic, and so is the ooze that will inevitably leak from every battery in a landfill. All batteries eventually rupture; it just takes rechargeable batteries longer to end up in the landfill.
In addition to dry cell batteries, there are also wet cell ones used in automobiles, boats, and motorcycles. The good thing about those is, ninety percent of them are recycled. Unfortunately, we do not yet know how to recycle single-use ones properly.
But that is not half of it. For those of you excited about electric cars and a green revolution, I want you to take a closer look at batteries and also windmills and solar panels. These three technologies share what we call environmentally destructive production costs.
A typical EV battery weighs one thousand pounds, about the size of a travel trunk. It contains twenty-five pounds of lithium, sixty pounds of nickel, 44 pounds of manganese, 30 pounds cobalt, 200 pounds of copper, and 400 pounds of aluminum, steel, and plastic. Inside are over 6,000 individual lithium-ion cells.
It should concern you that all those toxic components come from mining. For instance, to manufacture each EV auto battery, you must process 25,000 pounds of brine for the lithium, 30,000 pounds of ore for the cobalt, 5,000 pounds of ore for the nickel, and 25,000 pounds of ore for copper. All told, you dig up 500,000 pounds of the earth’s crust for just – one – battery.”
Sixty-eight percent of the world’s cobalt, a significant part of a battery, comes from the Congo. Their mines have no pollution controls, and they employ children who die from handling this toxic material. Should we factor in these diseased kids as part of the cost of driving an electric car?”
I’d like to leave you with these thoughts. California is building the largest battery in the world near San Francisco, and they intend to power it from solar panels and windmills. They claim this is the ultimate in being ‘green,’ but it is not. This construction project is creating an environmental disaster. Let me tell you why.
The main problem with solar arrays is the chemicals needed to process silicate into the silicon used in the panels. To make pure enough silicon requires processing it with hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrogen fluoride, trichloroethane, and acetone. In addition, they also need gallium, arsenide, copper-indium-gallium- diselenide, and cadmium-telluride, which also are highly toxic. Silicon dust is a hazard to the workers, and the panels cannot be recycled.
Windmills are the ultimate in embedded costs and environmental destruction. Each weighs 1688 tons (the equivalent of 23 houses) and contains 1300 tons of concrete, 295 tons of steel, 48 tons of iron, 24 tons of fiberglass, and the hard to extract rare earths neodymium, praseodymium, and dysprosium. Each blade weighs 81,000 pounds and will last 15 to 20 years, at which time it must be replaced. We cannot recycle used blades.
There may be a place for these technologies, but you must look beyond the myth of zero emissions.
“Going Green” may sound like the Utopian ideal but when you look at the hidden and embedded costs realistically with an open mind, you can see that Going Green is more destructive to the Earth’s environment than meets the eye, for sure.

Sancho, a road ranger gearbox has 18 gears not sixteen

My 1st CFS Brigade had a 13,000 L ‘Bulkie’ with a V8 Caterpillar Diesel and RR box with ‘splitter’ on both the box and the diff.

I got my semi licence to drive that, and it sounded wicked – and I learned a *huge* amount of respect for heavy truck drivers: the clutch in that thing was *only* for moving off from stationary. All other gear changes (up or down) were done by balancing the ‘push or pull’ through the drive line. Get it right, and you didnt need the clutch. Get it wrong, and the clutch didnt help you.

It’s not much but s 28A of the SDA does prevent weirdos getting personal services from people who don’t want to wax their groin, for example.

Under NSW law, clearly it is meant to refer to Jews, but religion may be claimed as “race” as “race includes “ethno-religious” groups. Maybe illegal in NSW under s 7 (1) (c)?

(c) requires the aggrieved person to comply with a requirement or condition with which a substantially higher proportion of persons not of that race, or who have a relative or associate not of that race, comply or are able to comply, being a requirement which is not reasonable having regard to the circumstances of the case and with which the aggrieved person does not or is not able to comply.

Sancho,
Some truck gearboxes are fully automatic, many are autos shift, but there are still a huge number of road ranger boxes out there. They come in all different configurations and numbers of gears.
At present we have an old Mack water cart with an 18 speed in it and like Duk said clutch to get going and stop, the rest is done by feel and sound. $00 rpm per gear and 200 rpm per split. Watch the tacho and keep listening and feel the click in the box.
Here in WA an HR license can be for an auto, a synchro box or a roadie. Obviously if you have the roadie licence you are presumed to be capable of the other two.
Out at Murrin Murrin the enormous triple road trains that haul on private roads have an 18 speed roadie in them. They haul 270 tonne of product and weigh around 400 tonnes all up.
They don’t make an auto that can handle that stress. Mistime it when starting off and even a roadie will go pop, which will earn the driver a window seat on the next plane out.

The reading, over a couple of good single malts, is John Edwards biography of John Curtin, As one reviewer said, it’s not a whitewash, more a greywash of Curtin and the Labor Party, but the author makes the claim that “the fall of Corregidor, five months after Pearl Harbor, was the last of Japan’s victories in the Pacific War.” (P 60.)

How does suing the Melbourne Catholic Archdiocese (is it “Melbourne” – Sydney is split in two), help the teachers the Catholic Schools Office – in NSW, in one diocese, had to sack, under government edict?

You sue your ethno-religious group until they agree to the terms of your political protest you want to make against a third party?

The ACT Greens have turned their strategy to win a second lower house seat up to 11.

Canberra candidate Tim Hollo is hosting three free music gigs in Haig Park, starting on Friday and aptly titled A Night On The Greens.

There’s a pop-up bar by trendy local brewers Bentspoke and a BBQ, with proceeds going to the ACT Refugee Action Collective.

Hollo was media director for former Greens leader Christine Milne, and now runs an environment communications firm. His CV boasts roles as executive director of the Green’s official think tank Green Institute, founder of Green Music, delegate on the Federal Council of Musicians Australia (a branch of the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance) and violinist in the string quartet FourPlay. Boom tish.

The music fest has been organised as part of Adam Bandt’s policy to pay artists properly.

The ACT Greens promised that everyone who stepped on stage would receive the Musicians Australia union arts minimum fee of $250.

But who is coughing up the cash?

Hollo’s latest newsletter, signed off with a “tuneful thanks”, includes a donation link for local members to help cover the costs.

Dunno, Sal. Tribal law in Western Australia goes like this. You throw stones at the ambulance, you break into the nurses houses, smash their car windscreens, the old men of the tribe take you into the bush, break both your legs and whistlecock you. They let the nurse know where you are, and it’s up to her to decide whether she arrives to collect you..

We used to own a holiday home in Lancelin. One evening, my mate and I were doing the dishes. What I can only describe as a ball (about half the size of a basketball) of pinkish-white light drifted past the window over the sink and then came back through the flywire (we stepped back, obviously) and over the sink. It sat there for maybe two seconds and then moved towards the water spout of the sink. It hit that and bzzzzt, it was suddenly gone.

We all saw it (four adults — all sober) and think it may have been some form of ball lightning.

I used to work in the back blocks of the Goldfields … I mean w-a-y out.

In a particular location one night, the locals had destroyed the nursing post and were intent on attacking the nurses’ quarters.

Nurses fled to the school compound. (No joke, it was fenced off behind cyclone wire and barbed wire topping.)

The principal (early 30s, about 6’5″ on the old scale), made sure everyone was safe in a central room, then went outside to “calm the mob”.

He spoke to them for a while and it all calmed down. He raised his arms and said, plans out, “OK people, just go home”.

As he did, a length of sharpened re-bar came over the fence and caught him below the armpit, skidded along his ribs, and passed through out his back.

And after he was treated in hospital in XXXXXXXXX he went back out there. One of his staff couldn’t take it anymore and had a complete nervous breakdown; we had to fly her out for treatment.

That’s just couple of the things I saw. And according to my mate in the Kimberley, it’s far, far, FAR worse now.

I spent a lot of my working life in the Gascoyne, Pilbara and Goldfields regions of WA.
I learned very early in my working life to keep clear of the aboriginal “communities” and to keep engagement with locals to an absolute minimum.

The towns are filthy rubbish tips, a huge proportion of the people are shiftless lazy drunks/druggies who will steal anything not nailed down, even low value things like a coil of rope from your vehicle or just smash things for the fun of it.

I have had tens of thousands of dollars worth of damages done to my work Landcruisers, stolen antennae, spare tyres, jerrycans, tool kits, smashed windows, even lifesaver items like PLBs and first aid kits. They don’t care, if it’s reachable it’s stealable.

Many people have been horrified by the recent stories coming out about Arnold Walker (now at room temperature) his early life, his record of drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, vandalism, and general thuggishness and are appalled that anyone could live like this in modern Australia or how a hell hole like Yuendumu hasn’t been bulldozed flat.

I’m not one of them. I have seen it all and worse.

And after he was treated in hospital in XXXXXXXXX he went back out there.

This is what perpetuates the problem.
Rosie posted an article earlier, of an event in Yuendumu a couple of years prior to the Walker shooting. The manager of the swimming pool was murdered in his quarters, by a couple of locals who broke in while he was inside, stole stuff, smashed other stuff, & bashed him to death with one of the shovels they used to break in.

For as long as nurses/teachers/pool managers/other sheep just keep returning to their ransacked quarters, whilst nursing black eyes & bandaged ribs, nothing will change.

It is their own free choice.

Yeah but … on The Drum last Friday they had some ABC NT journalist who stated that the clinic was closed at the community and there needs to be an investigation into that. What rubbish, she must have known that the clinic was closed because lives and property were being threatened.

They want self-determination. Fine, give it to them good and hard. Let them sort out all the assholes in their community, let them stop their people being the FASD capital of the world, let them use their 60,000 years of woo to heal the sick and reinvigorate their communities.

I am so utterly over all this. Salvatore I’d love to think that your solution of abandoning them could be implemented but sadly the usual cries of racism would emerge and there are too many naïve people out there who think they can save the unredeemable assholes. The narrative is too controlled by activists and I cannot perceive how we can change that.

Komrade Killers and the display of deep Christian values by a certain “soon to be installed in a safe Labor Lower House seat” Senator – this article in The Australian implies the woman problem for Labor:

Labor Party’s ‘mean girls’ ostracised Kimberley Kitching
EXCLUSIVE
SHARRI MARKSON
INVESTIGATIONS EDITOR

Labor senator Kimberley Kitching was on her way to yoga class when her phone rang.

It was a journalist alerting her to a story on The Sydney Morning Herald website where opposition foreign affairs spokeswoman Penny Wong was calling for tough laws to target foreign human rights abusers.

Kitching read the story and felt a wave of shock. She had been imploring Wong to support these very laws for a year and a half, to no avail.

Kitching even had her own private member’s bill ready to go that Wong would not permit her to table. Even in the usual cut and thrust of politics, this about-face by Wong was breathtaking.

It fitted a pattern of hostility by senior Labor Party members toward the late senator that put her under strain for a long time before she died.

The Australian can reveal Kitching was even hauled into a closed-door meeting with Labor’s Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, Kristina Keneally, where she was wrongly accused of disloyalty and siding with Liberal minister Linda Reynolds over the Brittany Higgins allegations.

The unravelling of Kitching’s relationship with senior Labor figures began in late 2018 when, accompanied by then Labor leader Bill Shorten and fellow Labor MP Michael Danby, she first met with Wong to mount the case for laws that would allow Australia to sanction individual human rights abusers instead of entire countries.

The Magnitsky Act had been passed by the US congress in 2012 after Russian tax lawyer Sergei Magnitsky was arrested, tortured and killed for the “crime” of exposing corrupt Russian officials.

The new laws meant Russian individuals responsible for his death could face personal sanctions – instead of the US having to sanction all of Russia, which would never have happened over one person’s death.

Kitching, Danby and Shorten made their pitch strongly to Labor’s leading foreign policy brain but Wong was unmoved.

According to Kitching’s recollection of the conversation, Wong allegedly said: “Over my dead body will we have Magnitsky.”

Kitching recounted the conversation during a February 2022 interview with The Australian. She also relayed Wong’s “over my dead body” comment to other colleagues as well.

Danby confirms Wong was against the act. “At that stage, she firmly refused to support it,” he said. “Kimberley and I were chagrined because support for this international human rights law seemed obvious to us and had been passed in many countries.”

The meeting turned sour.

“She (Wong) stormed off and Bill just sighed and said, ‘Look we’ll do it when we’re in government,’ ” Kitching said in the interview.

Kitching spoke to The Australian in February 2022 for an investigative article about Labor’s policy approach to China.

It turned out to be one of her final interviews.

She volunteered for inclusion in the article detail about the frustration she faced internally when advocating for the Magnitsky-style laws. She said the act was seen as too provocative towards China when hostilities in the Sino-Australian relationship were escalating.

“One of the things about it is people were worried it was going to upset China,” Kitching said.

“I feel if we don’t have strategic competition and don’t hold true to our values, we are going to lose sovereignty. It doesn’t matter where human rights abuses occur … We were the fourth of the five eyes to have it (the Magnitsky Act).”

In another conversation after their first meeting, Kitching claimed she said to Wong: “Listen, it will be passed unanimously, which it was, because no one wants to be on the side of a human rights violator.

“She (Wong) didn’t like it.”

Wong declined to respond to questions for this article on her conversations with Kitching or her about-face on the Magnitsky Act.

When Kitching continued to hit a brick wall with her Labor colleagues, she formed a partnership with chair of the parliamentary joint committee on intelligence and security James Paterson, then a backbencher. The pair worked with Foreign Minister Marise Payne’s chief of staff, Justin Bassi.

Initially, Payne was open to the legislation but soon became very enthusiastic about it, playing a critical role in persuading her cabinet colleagues to support the new sanctions regime.

At times, Bassi and Kitching would have multiple phone calls a day about the act. They decided the best way to get Labor on board with the legislation, which would need bipartisan support, would be as a result of recommendations from a bilateral committee.

Payne sent a reference for the Magnitsky Act to be considered to the human rights sub-committee, chaired by Kevin Andrews, of the over-arching committee on foreign affairs, defence and trade in December 2019.

It meant there would be hearings into the proposed legislation.

This sparked in Kitching an idea that delighted her. It was a plan she workshopped with Danby over coffee at her favourite hangout, The Lavender Cafe, in Melbourne’s upmarket suburb of Albert Park.

“She believed if Amal Clooney testified in favour of Magnitsky, Wong would support it,” Danby recalls with a chuckle.

“She thought they won’t be able to stop it if we get these two, (Geoffrey) Robertson and Clooney, to testify.”

Star power

Over the following months, Kitching connected with international human rights lawyer Robertson, global A-lister Clooney and Bill Browder, head of the Global Magnitsky Justice campaign.

Through perseverance and the force of her personality, Kitching convinced them all to agree to testify at the parliamentary hearings.

“Kimberley had actually organised for them to fly out here but then Covid restrictions prevented them from coming and they zoomed into the committee,” Danby said.

Clooney, in a glamorous black dress, beamed into an Australian Senate inquiry via video link in May 2020 as Covid-19 was ravaging the globe, stunning the politicians as she implored them to introduce the new laws.

Her star-power at a mundane foreign affairs hearing meant the niche issue of new sanctions legislation attracted headlines.

Just two months later, Wong gave the interview to the SMH where she called for Magnitsky laws to be introduced.

The first line of that July 2020 article read: “Labor’s foreign affairs spokeswoman Penny Wong is calling for Australia to introduce its own Magnitsky Act to target human rights abusers after the United Kingdom unveiled its much-anticipated laws.”

Kitching was furious. “When I saw the article, that was the first I knew about it,” she told The Australian. “The story went up quite late in the day. I was going to yoga and I was so angry she hadn’t told me or even sent a text saying ‘Oh by the way’ … It took me half the yoga class to relax.”

The Morrison government interpreted the move as Wong realising which direction Payne was heading and trying to front-run it.

Kitching shared a similar view.

“At that point, Penny realised she was going to be left behind and tabled my bill,” Kitching said.

“She didn’t want to be seen in a bad light.”

Leaked text messages

One dramatic incident isolated Kitching from Labor’s inner circle. It shook and devastated her.

Kitching sat on the Senate finance public administration committee that had received a submission containing an allegation that there had been an incident between two staffers.

It subsequently became clear this was related to Higgins’s alleged rape.

“Kitching could see someone’s sexual assault experience was about to be weaponised,” a friend recalled.

Disturbed by the prospect, she gave a vague warning to former defence minister Reynolds about it. They had a verbal conversation followed by a text exchange.

Kitching’s friends believe she acted in good faith and was deeply uncomfortable – at least initially – with politicisation of an alleged rape.

But the sympathy Kitching offered Reynolds backfired.

The matter blew up during an estimates hearing in June 2021.

Under questioning from Labor senators Wong and Katy Gallagher, Reynolds publicly accused the ALP of hounding her to the point she ended up in hospital over the Higgins matter.

Gallagher responded by saying: “You just alleged that we put you in hospital, that I put you in hospital.”

A heated exchange continued for some time before Reynolds levelled accusations at them of deliberately coming for her in a political attack.

“I know where this started,” Reynolds said.

Wong said: “I beg your pardon? Chair, she’s just made an imputation on the Hansard.

“We’d like to understand what she’s just asserted.”

Both Wong and Gallagher questioned Reynolds over what she meant when she said “I know where this started”.

Reynolds replied: “I really don’t think we should be doing this here, but if you want me to do that …” to which Wong replied “Yes”.

Reynolds said: “I was told by one of your senators two weeks before about what you were intending to do with the story in my office. Two weeks before.”

Both Wong and Gallagher strongly denied having any foreknowledge of the Higgins matter.

“No one had any knowledge. How dare you? It’s all about protecting yourself,” Gallagher said.

The hearing was then suspended for a “private meeting” where the discussion continued.

The Australian has confirmed that Reynolds told the Labor senators that Kitching had forewarned her about their attack.

As supposed proof, she showed them text correspondence between her and Kitching.

Kimberley Kitching was ‘uncompromising’ in her values
Former Labor Senator Stephen Conroy has emotionally paid tribute to Kimberley Kitching, who he says was a “dear friend”. “She stood for many, many traditional Labor values and I shared many, many of those with her,” he told…
‘Mean girls’

With no knowledge of what had unfolded, Kitching was subsequently summoned to a meeting with Keneally.

She was accused of leaking to the Liberals and was read a series of accusations and charges. She was not permitted a right of reply. Nor was she given advance notice of what the meeting was about so she had no lawyer or support person present. She was offered no procedural fairness.

The result of the meeting was that Kitching was suspended from the Labor tactics committee – a senior group that meets daily to decide on question time political strategy.

She was never returned to it.

It is understood Kitching made her case to Labor’s Deputy Leader, Richard Marles, who said he would try to sort it out for her, but the situation was never resolved.

From this point, Kitching was given fewer opportunities to ask questions during Senate question time.

Kitching felt betrayed by Reynolds, who had been her friend, and went on the warpath, leading attacks against her.

“After that, Kimberley started very aggressively pursuing Linda with questions on notice, aggressive questions in question time,” a friend said. “Kimberley had to reprove her loyalty. She was under severe internal pressure and wanted to get revenge against Linda for having betrayed her.

“She was very stressed. She confided in me a number of times.”

The stress contributed to the health problems Kitching was already suffering.

“This is where the process of isolation and cruel treatment intensified. Kimberley was stressed, started losing weight and strength dramatically,” a second friend alleged.

A third friend also spoke about the devastation Kitching felt at being ostracised by Labor’s senior Senate leadership team.

Kitching and some of her supporters would refer to the three women – Gallagher, Keneally and Wong – as “the mean girls”.

Marles, Keneally and Reynolds all declined to respond to The Australian’s questions about this incident.

“This is a difficult time for many in the Labor family. Mr Marles, Senator Wong and Senator Keneally will not be engaging in commentary on baseless claims,” a Labor spokesperson said.

Hopes Kitching’s legacy will help ‘drag Labor back to sense’
Sky News host Andrew Bolt says he hopes Kimberley Kitching’s legacy will help “drag Labor back to sense”. Mr Bolt said not long before Ms Kitching passed away, he asked her whether Labor would be as tough as the Liberals on…
Sidelined

Kitching’s achievements were recognised when she won the Sergei Magnitsky Human Rights Award in November 2021 in London.

She asked the Labor Party to fund an economy flight to London for her to accept the award, noting the funds were largely untouched because of Covid restrictions, but Marles refused.

She paid her own way there.

Despite the international recognition, inside the Labor Party there was little praise and no accolades.

Kitching was a successful parliamentary performer in her role as assistant spokeswoman for government accountability.

It was in this position that she exposed former Australia Post boss Christine Holgate’s gift of Cartier watches to executives.

Yet Anthony Albanese demoted her from this role in his January 2021 reshuffle, replacing her with Keneally.

It is understood Kitching learnt about her demotion only from media reports.

Despite her treatment within Labor, Kitching continued to make her mark, most recently when she questioned ASIO boss Mike Burgess about whether it was Chau Chak Wing who had been involved in a foiled foreign interference plot.

Even this didn’t go down well inside the Labor Party.

There was an article in the left-wing Saturday Paper by journalist Karen Middleton that claimed “Kitching’s senior Labor colleagues were furious with her intervention and some even noted privately that her own preselection had not yet been confirmed”.

Kitching commented on the article to a colleague: “This is very bad news. Karen (Middleton) was Albo’s biographer so this is likely to be well-sourced.”

Victorian Right faction organiser Stephen Conroy denies Kitching would have been dumped and points out there were no rival candidates for her Senate position.

But there’s little doubt on the eve of her death, Kitching was concerned about her political future.

She had been ostracised from the party she had always loved.

Thanks for pasting that Tinta.

I have a number of things to say about this stomach churning piece because quite honestly, after reading this, I feel physically sick. I should preface all of this by saying that the female of the species can be bitchy, nasty and toxic in ways males can never be. Women and girls isolating other women and girls who cross them or annoy them is standard female behaviour to attack females we don’t like. We’ve been doing it since we came down from trees. It’s in our DNA. I know all of this because I’m a woman, I’ve seen it and I’ve experienced it. Men might have a physical bust up between each other…..but the next day they can sit down and have a drink with each other. But we women, forgiving and forgetting the next day…….never.

Kimberley Kitching was one of the few Labor people I’d have crossed the road to talk to. She always struck me as intelligent, dignified and decent. I’m not saying she was perfect but then who is? What’s interesting is that former Labor MP Michael Danby is speaking up through Sharri Markson, I suspect Kitching’s untimely death might be a catalyst. Danby knows where the skeletons are….and he should out them all. One thing is clear, Danby knows that Wong is a loathsome and very nasty piece of work. Kitching also supported Nicolle Flint, whose real bullying experiences at the hand of some journalists and GetUp, union and Labor party activists have been conveniently ignored by the progressive MSM. Re. Flint, I have no doubts whatsoever that Wong, whilst probably not directly behind the disgraceful behaviour levelled at Flint (Wong would know how to keep her hands clean), certainly knew about it and either supported such measures or turned a blind eye to it.

It was clear to me from day one that the whole Higgins case, just like the Porter and Tudge cases, were ideological and political tools designed to smear, attack and bring down a Coalition government. The stench was obvious from the beginning in all these cases and yet the eternally stupid Morrison fell for all of them hook, line and sinker. Let’s hope and pray that justice prevails for the young man in the Higgins case, just as it prevailed for Zachary Rolfe and finally prevailed for George Pell…..because the whole thing stinks. I have no doubt Wong and Keneally were behind weaponising these allegations.

Thanks to Coalition stupidity we’re soon to be governed by these “Labor” people. Albanese, Gallagher, Wong and the unspeakable Keneally. The only hope is that, whilst Labor is elected, Keneally fails in her quest for the “safe” seat of Fowler because if the rumour is true and current Fairfield Mayor Frank Carbone runs, he’d win the seat easily. There is nobody more despicable in federal parliament (and yes, that’s saying something) than Eddie’s girl, Kristina Keneally. She has long been known to be a “mean bitch”……going back to her earliest days in state parliament, in fact that’s how she gained pre-selection against the existing Labor member Deirdre Grusovin. Keneally is a backstabbing, mean, nasty and vindictive woman.

It’s worth remembering that this toxic duo of Wong and Keneally initiated and led the senate censure against Bettina Arndt (a woman), a motion which the Liberals and National all happily supported. It was the ultimate act of bullying. I hope you’re proud Coalition senators. You reap what you sow. Anyone with a grain of decency would have walked away from supporting such a motion, instead all we got was cowardice from conservatives who should have known better. I’m looking at you Senator Stoker. I’ll be glad to see you gone.

Finally, when you hear the shallow words “girl power”…..all it means is “bitch power”, usually directed at other females or at the expense of other females.

If the USA has bioweapons labs in Ukraine, we are still waiting for a fact that confirms it.

He has a range of videos up on YouTube.
His rumble channel has one additional one that he didn’t put on YouTube.
It’s all there.

If you’re being semantic about whether a US funded lab operated by Ukrainians isn’t a US lab, just say it.

Nancy Pelosi Has Putin Strategery Figured Out, He is Trying to Bait Her into a NATO Attack
March 15, 2022 | Sundance | 6 Comments

Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, made it clear today that she has Russian President Vladimir Putin’s strategery all figured out.

According to her press conference remarks, Speaker Pelosi says the Russian president is trying to bait her into attacking his forces in Ukraine so that he can start World War III against her. Although, Pelosi did say she’s not a well experienced military strategist, but she knows his trickery and stuff. WATCH:

Also in Oz, influencers are not required to disclose whether they received taxpayer money to promote any part of the COVID narrative.

This is very simple. The human brain cannot foresee long-term consequences until it is well into the late stages of teenagerdom, and only then if it has been appropriately trained.

If that inarguable concept is used as a platform, it can very safely be said that the transgender concept in people yet to reach adulthood is the result of one of only two things:

1. A severe mental illness requiring treatment and ongoing management by people who know what they’re doing, OR
2. A sustained and equally severe form of child abuse on the part of ‘parent/s’, sections of the medical profession and a developing entrenched industry reliant on government funding – in which case it should be treated in the same manner as other forms of child abuse and its proponents jailed.

Rising Number of Illegal Immigrant Hardened Criminals Cross Into US
During President Obama’s last year in office, the number of illegal immigrants arrested at the border with a known criminal record was 12,842.
Under President Trump, the number steadily declined. His first year, 2018, the number was cut by one-third to 8,531. Even as Trump opponents and open-border advocates fought border enforcement initiatives, the number of convicted criminals crossing into the United States and getting arrested dropped about 2,000 per year, until it was down to 2,438 in 2020.
Then under President Biden’s relatively open-border policy, the number bumped back up to well past 10,000 in 2021. (10,763)

Well, the NT Gummint and the top rung of their jack department could have walked away from the Rolfe murder trial, taken their medicine and bunkered down for a bit with their traps shut.

But no.

Evidently they have now gone through every single one of the jobs this bloke went to in the three years prior to the shooting, looking to load him up with internal disciplinary charges in an effort to prevent him coming back to work, which he apparently wants to do.

On top of that, Chief Minister Michael Gunner has now alienated quite a few (read: everyone except hand-patters) by calling them ‘conspiracy nuts’ on the radio. The NT News, apropos of an interview with Gunner on Mix 104.9 up here:

Mr Gunner rejected calls for an independent investigation into the decision to charge Const. Rolfe, saying he wasn’t a “conspiracy nut”.

Mr Gunner also said he had full confidence in NT Police commissioner Jamie Chalker, amid growing calls for him to resign, including from Const. Rolfe’s father.

Chalker, in a separate statement:

“Such unfounded allegations are an affront to the critical independence of the Northern Territory police and the DPP (Director of Public Prosecutions) and damage the trust and confidence in the criminal justice system which must be held by the community,” Mr Chalker said.

When it comes out that both Gunner and Chalker watched the body worn video – in isolation – together, and alongside several other top NT jacks and government figures on the morning after the shooting and making the decision there and then to have him moida-beefed (which is the extremely good mail) – it will be interesting.

Random People Start Seizing Properties Belonging to Russian Oligarchs and Putin’s Daughter

When people’s blood gets up and they think they are riding a wave of righteousness, they tend to forget that eventually waves break and another wave comes up behind that will crash on them.

Instead of linking to what I consider an apposite quote, I shall link to a film clip from A Man for All Seasons.

It is not Putin’s daughter or even the oligarchs that are calling themselves bad. It is a mob most of whom seem to have chosen a side based on what they have read in the paper rather than looking for facts. The people behind it (or their mongrel heirs) will do it to anyone – even you – with just the same blithe indifference should their eyes light upon you.

And this is why you should not be demanding politicians cut off the power to certain households – the left has more political clout than the right. These sorts of punishments for opinion will certainly be visited more on the right than on the left.

Watching the teev. There is footage of what’s described as a ‘road rage’ brawl between two blokes during pick up time at a school.

Shirtless bloke puts a pole through a car window (which is down). Pole goes in and out of window. Arms are waved from outside and inside the car. Shirtless bloke kicks car. Note: shirtless bloke has Ben Cousins-style tattoo across his guts.

Bald fatter bloke (celtic partial sleeve tatts) emerges. Scuffle ensues across two lanes of traffic and back into median strip where it started. Multiple uppercuts in the style of ice hockey are thrown. Multiple haymakers, in the style of (aptly) schoolyards are thrown. Percentage of punches landed – 0. Jacks turn up.

Loads of mums and kids watching on. A terrible example set, particularly to the children.

Fighting angry. No transfer of weight. No balance maintained, and no other technique displayed. No serious injuries, and no apparent outcome.

Both parties should be sentenced to have their bad man tatts removed, and to only drive a Hyundai Getz, Mazda 1, Honda Jazz or Miata – all burnt pink – for the rest of their lives.

As a simple experiment:
• go to DuckDuckGo;
• enter us biolabs Ukraine in the search bar;
• set the custom search range to (say) 1/1/05 to 1/1/21;
• search

You will find thousands of references to US-funded biolabs, biological warfare preparations, and the like running back for years:

– date clustered around spasms in Russia/West politics;
– most posted on sites with names like redreveal, euvsdisinfo, darkinfo;
– many with identical displayed text clips (probably don’t click on the links).

Also:
– archival MSM articles;
– discussion sites, allegedly US-based exMil/Tea Party/conspiracy;
– Official US government links and statements on the CTR program.

This has been busily contested space for 15+ years; thickly populated by Russian trolls, nutters, enthusiasts, and government information/misinformation. Within it all, there is thoroughly documented detail of an extensive, worldwide, US-funded biolab presence running back to the 2005 Nunn-Lugar act.

Against all this I am amazed that:

Pretty sure that ‘certain households’ means ‘not all of us’.

And you seem to be blind to the fact that they think our use of electricity has a negative effect and will therefore decide we must be forced to live with the consequences. They think normal folk are causing the planet to get hotter (no aircon for you!), causing droughts (restrictions on your water), and countless other things – I know there is a list out there which is at least a page long.

They also believe reliable energy sources cause floods. Do you think they would consider droughts and floods cancel out so they can leave that alone? Or that you should be punished for both?

You could conclude cloud seeding works except that for cloud seeding to work on small scales you need clouds to begin with and because of the patchy nature of rainfall it is very difficult to tell if you have succeeded. This event was VERY large scale, combined with a weak La Nina. Now we need to organise another large volcano during an El Nino.

Does she mention cloud seeding?

Bloke getting off the bus today left a chemtrail on the way out.

Disgusting!

Fresh from the Mouth of Xi:

Chinese mainland’s COVID cases soar to 15k since March 1; situation ‘grim’ but ‘controllable’

Zhang Li, deputy chief of the Jilin provincial health commission, said at a press conference on Tuesday that Jilin, with roughly 24 million people, is set to take “emergency unconventional measures” to push province-wide nucleic tests. The test resources will prioritize the cities of Changchun and Jilin, where the virus is rife.

If he gets this wrong, Zhang Li is facing an appointment as a donor at the Jilin #5 Transplant Hospital.

Tough shit for the 24 million citizens looking forward to “emergency unconventional measures“.

I went to the shops this morning. My ANZ credit card did not work and the message was not ‘declined’ but something else. Finished with ‘Refer’ which I expect means call the bank. So I used a debit card.

Slightly embarrassed I went to an ATM to get some cash (I like to keep a bit of cash on me) and it worked fine.

Next shop I said there was a problem with the credit card at the other place and I wanted to see if the problem was ongoing or beyond that first shop. Same message. So out comes the debit card. Declined!

Now I knew there was no fund shortage, nor had I made any unusual purchases (which I have seen used as a reason to block purchases).

So I get back home and call the bank. There they announce that there have been problems with cards and they apologised for the problem. That is all. No idea of when it might be resolved, no hint as to the cause or what you might expect to find you are unable to do. Nothing else.

I stayed on the line so I could speak to a person – or at least one of those facsimiles they maintain. Due to problems, the automated voice says, they cannot currently accept calls. One more useless apology, and disconnect.

Look for info on the website…nothing. Search Gulag for info on the ANZ outage…nothing.

Does anyone have any further insight as to what might be going on?

This is so clear & simple, even a Greenie could understand it –

And this is why you should not be demanding politicians cut off the power to certain households

FFS. The proposal is that those who want green electricity have the consequences of that decision visited on *them*, not on the rest of us who don’t share the delusion. People can sign up for green power. Just explain that they get a smart meter and get cut off first. How many will do it?
Do you really want the consequences foisted on the rest of us at the same time as on the green loons?

– which makes one wonder how many of those, ‘so terribly incensed by the suggestion’, are actually Green/Labor/Union marketers playing at being centre/right.

I suppose this is what was posted last night and am wondering why ‘Reignite Democracy’ have decided only Victorian Catholic schools are the baddies in the vaccine mandate saga.
Interviews with three teachers.
Let’s circle back in a few weeks and see how it’s going.
Which isn’t to say I don’t have sympathy for those who’ve lost their jobs but I think Dan Andrews is the baddie here.

I suspact Panzy Smollett, the world’s greatest fiction writer has been working hard overnight and this morning to just keep posting twenty four seven, in the hope his lies get lost in the sheer volume of shit he goes on with.

Struth, just scroll the troll. Catching up on the overnight posts goes much quicker.
