Feminism will do us in

If countries extend their reliance on coal in response to the war, then “we are cooked,” Mr Kerry reportedly said to the BBC. Dog bites man, kind of report. Where? At yet another climate-change conference, this time in Bonn to prepare for COP27 in Egypt. Much high-octane flying to get there, no doubt.

I was struck by this in the same report:

Mr Kerry’s call was echoed by a leading Ukrainian scientist who urged delegates to speed up their transition away from fossil fuels. Dr Svitlana Krakovska said oil and gas were the “enablers of war”.

Evidently, Dr Krakovska has not heard of the battles of Tours, Hastings, Trafalgar, Blenheim, not to mention hundreds of others, including Marathon in 490 BC. None, I believe, took advantage of oil or gas. It is so silly on a number of levels. But take it at face value. It means that those countries which dispense with oil and gas are fair game for conquest and enslavement by those who don’t. By the bad guys. As a Ukrainian, she should bring to bear all of her brainpower and think Russia.

Krakovska’s views are archetypally feminine. Not referring to her sex but to her temperament. The same temperament as Kerry’s. The same Kerry who wants to deal again with the Devil; to wit, Iran.

These people, the so-called Western elites, like the Davos crowd, will do us in; as the unrefined Eliza Doolittle might put it. Feminism [edit: s/be Too much femininity] will do us in. The bad guys aren’t feminine. The hairy-arsed Taliban aren’t feminine. Putin and Xi Jinping aren’t feminine and don’t lead feminine regimes. Sorry more so-called toxic masculinity wouldn’t go astray in the West, if we are to survive. Feminism [edit: s/be Femininity] is an essential and beneficial part of civil society, don’t get me wrong; but it can only thrive inside fortifications. As Colonel Jessup put it.

Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who’s gonna do it? You [elsewhere, “in your faggity white uniform”]?

“Sorry more so-called toxic masculinity wouldn’t go astray in the West…”

A little less toxic femininity might help too.
And maybe even a little less toxic gayness, toxic lesbianism, toxic bisexualism etc etc.
Surely no-one would suggest that only one sexuality can be toxic – didn’t we once say this about LGB people, that they were “toxic” and therefore made their actions illegal. And didn’t we, in our enlightenment, decide that all these things should be equal, and no-one should be singled out because of their nature that they cannot change. That seems to ring a bell.

Oh – sorry, silly me.
That was only for people NOT men, just like racists are only people who are white, and obviously non-white people aren’t racists, and that black people people of color that support a meritocracy like Larry Elder or Candace Owens are the “black face of white supremacy”.
Yep, forgot all about that while I wallowed in luxury in the white patriarchy.

I am not the first, I suspect, to believe that the essence of Colonel Jessup’s words were correct. For nations to live in peace, they must have defenders are every ready to repel the bad guys.

Nor is it that simple. Those same defenders may be required to put their lives at risk, and to engage with the enemy in a desperate battle for survival which challenges some of the easy commandments of peacetime.

The determination of the leftist media to hold to account every special forces engagement behind the lines in Afghanistan is indicative of the antipathy to what they call “toxic masculinity”.

Feminism is an essential and beneficial part of civil society, don’t get me wrong;

Well, I do get you wrong. Feminism is poison and evil. It has no redeeming features. I challenge you to name a single one.

Femininity, on the other hand, is essential. Sad that we have almost lost it completely.

Well said. I have a friend from eastern Europe who regards herself as quite masculine, but she is the product of a culture that has left her far more feminine than most of the aussie girls I’ve met. She recognises basic stuff like she’ll never be as physically strong, men tend to be more direct, and both sexes compliment each other in their differences.

Agreed
recently I was reminded that those who just want to be left alone, are not and are seen to be weak and they will never win anything

you have ot fight to be left alone, yo uhave to fight now for everything, or it will be left to mobs like the Teals to declare they represent you

the teals I suspect will in the next 3 years either be mediocre at best or complete failures.

now they are left with zero chance of holding the balance of power, they have no role and will likely lose interest

it was good for their funding guy though, eliminating all the useless Liberals who might block his “climate” plans

Not only that, but this is why leadership by women is seen as a curse. When men are resigned to have women lead then we get what we deserve.
You only need to look at voting patterns -2/3 or more women vote left. This clearly means giving the vote to all is retarded as it leaves society worse off. (Although who really thinks democracy works anymore)

In the West we will not learn from our mistakes because #equality or #sexism. But reality will bite (it already is).

One of the greatest compliments the beautiful man ever gave me was that I was “domestic, traditional and not a feminist.”

That said, I am smarter than most of the men I work with and give as good as I get when it comes to banter. But sweetly.

Any woman worth her salt sees through feminism. It is not about women at all but a certain class of women who want all the perks of high status and income with none of the effort.

Indeed. One of my heroes, Kellie-Jae Keen (who is adamant she’s not a feminist), in her discussion with Tucker Carlson a few weeks ago, accurately said that whilst the right is sexist, the left is inherently misogynist. I know what I prefer and it isn’t the latter. Feminism, particularly third wave feminism, has enabled and given rise to a grotesque form of misogynism which calls itself transgenderism. The goal of transgenderism is the elimination of the female sex…..pure unadulterated misogynism.

Tell that to Margaret Thatcher, Catherine the Great, QE 1 and Boudicea

A few rare gems that do not correlate with the rule. There will always be outliers, but if you look at the common traits of those outliers you will probably find they all executed a male leadership style. But it is no matter as it’s not the rule.
What perhaps is worse though is the rise in effeminate men leading nations everywhere you look, from Australia to France to Canada.
At the end of it all leadership by real men who put God first is the only way to a just and sustainable society.

Evolution has hard wired women to be so, for their traditional roles depended on it – they stayed home, caring for those who were weak (children) and, when their men came home with the kill, making sure that even the smallest weakest child got a share (aka redistribution of resources).

The men, on the other hand, went head to head with their prey, in a contest to the death – no emotion, no quarter given, they got the job done (aka reward for effort – succeed or die).

“…particularly third wave feminism…”

This is the real issue, IMO – equality between men and women I am OK with, at lest from the PoV of Government and business interaction. When dealing with them personally, it’s still nice to have some of the “old fashioned” views such as holding the door for her, intervening when some joker tries to assault her etc etc.
When they demand (and worse, get) “equity” (a la “we need more women MPs, so we have a quota”) this is definitely no good. Meritocracy, sure; “affirmative action”, hard NO.
When they demand equality but get preference in things like child custody after a marriage break-up, that is no good either – gotta “fix” the good-for-you-bad-for-men things as well as the bad-for-you-good-for-men things. It’s only fair.
It’s my belief that most women want this too – to not be disadvantaged in business etc etc, just get a “fair go” regardless of sex gender (because I don’t want anyone to think I’m talking about the act), but still treated like a woman in personal life. And I think most men want it that way too, or at least will grudgingly accept it.
Alas, we have moved beyond that point, to our detriment.

Slim: would you have a problem if a news report was produced by all men? Or all white men? Or all Poms? Or is it that you think women have some sort of mental mind-blend?
Really, the whole idea that women are some sort of homogenous group think is absurd. Does anyone suggest that Marie Curie has anything much in common with Catherine Deves? Or Michaela Cash with Penny Wong?
