Worth re posting because it explains so much-

1. Identify a respected institution.
2. kill it.
3. gut it.
4. wear its carcass as a skin suit, while demanding respect.

Wow. I had no idea that was going to be so long.

lol. When you try to talk political sense to recalcitrant family members by going the round-about way and also hearing them out, then it is going to be long.

After some very tense moments, we mostly have agreements to disagree with older family members.

The younger ones though I still think are worse pursuing with solid loving argumentation.
There is hope for them yet.

Humphrey at 9.14am, my theory is that CBS’s accountants bought the 10 Network as a tax write-off that isn’t expected to turn a profit anytime in the next century. For example, the first sign a TV network is serious is that it has a program director. Ten doesn’t have one. And it’s pursuing the financially disastrous millenial demographic, who hate spending money on anything. All the lucrative 25-54 demo are watching 7 and 9.

Didn’t they author a report on the number of civilian deaths in Iraq and come up with some astronomical number because of their comically flawed method?

His neighbour at number 23 reports it … 1 death.
Also his neigbour at number 27 … 2.
And Mrs Busybody over the road … 3.
And his wife … 4.
And his three sons … 7.
And four people in Casualty … 11 deaths and counting.

Another reason not to live in apartment buildings, especially ones that Greens inhabit.

Shepherd’s Bush fire: Apartment blaze near Grenfell Tower sparked by e-bike (26 Jun)

An e-bike sparked a fire on the 12th floor of a West London tower block, less than a mile away from Grenfell Tower, where 72 people died following a blaze in 2017.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of a blaze at a high-rise block on Queensdale Crescent in Shepherd’s Bush, Tuesday morning.

A resident of the block of flats said the fire began when his friend was charging an e-bike in his home.

Fortunately the building didn’t have the flammable cladding the Grenfell Tower had, because the photo pretty clearly suggests such cladding would’ve caught alight.

Meanwhile:

NSW cladding remediation remains stagnant (21 Jun)

The NSW Government’s Project Remediate, which sees eligible buildings with flammable cladding able to have the materials replaced, is still in a holding pattern, with not one of the 166 buildings registered for the scheme yet to be rectified.

When some people drunk bleach because Trump had said there was research going into the use of antiseptic* and (laser?) light to fight Covid, that became Trump telling a lie.

Didn’t the woman who claimed that she and her husband had done that, and her husband had died as a result, later get charged with murder?
Wasn’t the allegation that she’d fed him a lethal dose, then drank a very small amount herself to get sick as a cover story?
Wasn’t their social media feed full of anti-Trump hysteria, thus casting some doubt on the notion that they’d followed Trump’s supposed comments?

A Very Dangerous Time Inside Ukraine as U.S. Officials Admit CIA and Pentagon Conducting Proxy War Effort from Kyiv

June 26, 2022 | Sundance

We must always keep focus on the context for information that comes from the U.S. State Dept and the Central Intelligence Agency to the media. Yesterday, as Joe Biden was en route to the G7 summit in the Bavarian Alps, the New York Times published an article saying the CIA and Pentagon special forces are organizing and conducting the NATO war effort from a secret operation center in Kyiv.

Some viewed the article as the NYT violating operational security for the U.S. led effort. However, that perspective belies the nature of how the media is used in war by Dept of State and intelligence officials. The details of the Times article are attributed to “three U.S. officials,” and should be looked upon as purposeful.

In addition to the timing of Biden headed to the G7, the admission of CIA officials conducting the war effort from inside Ukraine, comes as NATO partner country Lithuania informs Russia that prior transit treaties to the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad will not be honored. NATO is poking and provoking a response from Russia, the Times article is part of this effort.

Inequities between rich and poor countries perhaps because big pharma charged huge amounts for their drugs. Plenty of poor countries used the Noble prize winning “horse dewormer”.

You wont see any articles looking into how many vax and pills were purchased and for how much. Plus grants for research etc. I saw one article that mentioned $5m for research into combining Remdesivir with another drug. Remdesivir was being given out in hospitals earlier in the year. Now it is Pfizerrs Paxlovid pills and only a few days ago saw expert saying only 50,000 treatments been given out when we have about 1.3m.

The cost of all of the treatments is very significant tens of billions. Lucky we have a very big blank cheque.

The problem is that news outlets just report whatever Dr Griffin has to say. They have never questioned anything he has said. In view of the fact he works for the Nucleus Network that does trials for big pharma he is not exactly unbiased.

I remember in the early days when he was working on the local vaccine he’d appear on ABC Brisbane radio every week and listeners could call in and ask questions. Needless to say listeners asked better questions than journalists. I think they stopped that after the local vaccine was canned due to false HIV positives.

MASCULINITY IS ALIVE AND WELL….MOSTLY!

“Masculinity is ending. Burn everything!”

So tweeted Christian Wilkins, son of TV pop music reporter, Richard Wilkins, when ridiculed for wearing a dress at the logies.

From what I see around me, outside the entertainment, media and twitter bubble, masculinity is not ending, but quite the opposite, it’s alive and well – and thriving.

– ‘Masculinity’ is quietly volunteering to help your community.

– ‘Masculinity’ is fighting fires to save towns under threat.

– ‘Masculinity’ is helping others clean up after devastating floods, even when your own home has been destroyed beyond repair.

– ‘Masculinity’ is taking your kid(s) to Saturday sports to teach them about teamwork, co-operation, competition, victory and disappointment.

– ‘Masculinity’ is getting up early, daily, to go to a real job to feed your family and keep a roof over their head.

– ‘Masculinity’ is giving more to your family than you expect in return.

What ‘Masculinity’ is not:

‘Masculinity’ is not being an attention seeking ‘socialite’ in a dress at public events, wanting the world to “LOOK A’ MOI!!! LOOK A’ MOI!!! LOOK A’ MOI!!!

That’s ‘Femininity’ of the worst, most self-absorbed kind.

In the real world, outside the entertainment, media and Twitter bubble, even this toxic version of femininity hardly exists.

Sorry to disappoint Ms Wilkins, but Masculinity is not ending. It’s healthy in every community around Australia, and the world.

Being an attention seeking freak show?

Not so much.

‘I Lost Friends’: Former Rolling Stone Journalist Talks Reaction To Him Reviewing ‘What Is A Woman’ (26 Jun, via Instapundit)

“The response was unbelievable, just for reviewing the movie — forget about what I said about it,” Taibbi told Shapiro about his review. “I lost friends over that. There were people who I’ve known for decades who basically said I’m a transphobe and I’m … out of their loop.”

Taibbi explained that he first noticed an unwillingness from the Left even to discuss the transgender issue before he chose to review The Daily Wire documentary.

“With the trans issue, there would be some people who would talk to me, and then there would be some people who were furious that you even called, would refuse to have any kind of discussion, would call you a transphobe for even asking certain kinds of questions — and this is before you even have a point of view on the subject,” he said, recalling a time he tried to gather quotes for a story. “I thought that was odd.”

“[T]he movie shows academic after academic and activist after activist seething at the mere implication that they should have to explain themselves,” he wrote. “Their attitude is positively medieval

A recent poll found that nearly three quarters of Democrats wouldn’t go out on a date with a Republican, and 37% would never be friends with one. Much smaller numbers the other way around. More and more the Left is turning into an insular cult which brooks no thought outside its own weird doctrine.

Much arse covering, but have a look.

The novel coronavirus – SARS-CoV-2 – may have been in Europe for longer than previously thought. Recent studies have suggested that it was circulating in Italy as early as December 2019. More surprisingly, researchers at the University of Barcelona found traces of the virus when testing untreated wastewater samples dated March 12, 2019.

As a result, many countries, including Spain, are now monitoring wastewater for traces of coronavirus. In this particular study, wastewater epidemiologists were examining frozen samples of influent between January 2018 and December 2019 to see when the virus made its debut in the city.

All retention samples as back far as we should go should be tested.

If it is suspected that the novel virus was globally endemic as far back as 2018 then what a cheap tent show that was, annihilating liberal democracy.

I am surprised that Kavanaugh voted the way he did.
He wants to be liked.
In my opinion, the alleged rape allegations made him cry not because they were false but because it meant he wouldn’t be invited to DC dinner parties.
Keep in mind if GWB didn’t hit the phones his confirmation would not have gotten up.
Voting the way he did will mean those invites will dry up even further.

I think there is genuine criticism of Gorsuch.
Of the 9, Gorsuch did make a song & dance regarding stare decisis at his confirmation hearings.
(Admitted so did Roberts but he binned that pretty quickly after be made the big cheese).
If he was going to stick to his self declared stare decisis stance he would have raised this with the rest of the justices when this was being discussed/debated.

Moving forward, how is Gorsuch ever going to use stare decisis as any form of reasoning?
In my view, stare decisis & states rights while winding back unconstitutional federal over reach is a pretty good ecosystem.
The balkanisation that inevitably leads to is a good thing.

Blockade Australia protesters have caused an unprecedented 45 minutes of chaos on Sydney CBD streets, with the group’s guerilla tactics causing havoc for drivers on Monday morning.

A band of at least 100 protesters marched through the CBD from 8am, hurling signs, fencing, traffic cones and any other roadside equipment they could find onto streets, in a bid to slow following police and traffic.

At least four protesters were detained and searched by police as the protest neared its end at the corners of Grosvenor and George Sts.

Lanes on the Sydney Harbour Tunnel were closed as a precaution, but a thick police presence including vehicles and officers on foot prevented protesters from blocking the thoroughfare.

They instead turned down Bridge Street, part of a zigzagging, haphazard march through roads starting at Hyde Park.

In a chaotic, running battle police worked to shepherd protesters off peak-hour Sydney streets, before the group told members in an encrypted messaging app to disperse at 8.45am.

It’s the first day of a promised week of action by the extreme protest group.

Those taking part were told in an encrypted messaging app on Sunday night it wouldn’t be a traditional rally, with the group scurrying shortly after the message was given to disperse.

At least one TV cameraman fell heavily after toppling backwards over a milk crate hurled into his path.

FROM OUR PARTNERS

Erin Molan in a brand new show. Stream Erin Sundays 7pm AEST, on Sky News.

A white car, believed to be a part of the protest, was blocking southbound lanes of the Harbour Tunnel, which have since reopened.

The woman, who called herself Marli, was inside the locked car with a bike lock attached to her neck and the wheel, and was live-streaming before being removed by police.

“I cannot be silent anymore. I’ve seen a world of devastation happen. I’ve felt … complete and total heartbreak this year as a direct result of climate change,” she said.

“I don’t want to have to be here, it’s for all of us. It’s quite overwhelming.”

One motorist exited his car and unleashed a verbal tirade at the woman calling her a “f**king selfish c***” to which the woman replied “I stand with you”.

Police flanked the protest, clearing debris as quickly as protesters could dump it on the road, while running alongside those marching in a bid to block streets ahead of the march.

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet told 2GB’s Ben Fordham that the activists “bloody idiots” will face the “full force of the law”.

The game plan for the first day of the promised week-long “mass disruption” was sent out on Sunday evening over a messaging app and included legal advice as well as instructions on how to cause traffic chaos.

Group members were also encouraged to “run or disperse” through the city on Monday morning.

“This won’t be like a regular rally with speeches and a lot of time standing around – we will be meeting at 8am sharp and then moving quickly from there,” the memo states.

“Depending on police tactics you may be required to run or disperse depending on your abilities. Be prepared to walk on roads and stop cars from passing.”

It comes after the group we spotted brazenly using the hipster-filled Marrickville Markets as a training ground the day before kicking off their long-promised “mass disruption”.

The extreme environmentalist group Blockade Australia, which has previously crippled freight and transport networks in a series of rolling actions blocking roads and rails at Port Botany and the Hunter, have promised for months to hold a week-long protest from June 27.

The Daily Telegraph on Sunday witnessed a group of more than 15 Blockade Australia members undertaking training at the Addison Street Community Centre, alongside the hipster-stronghold Marrickville Markets, in apparent preparation for their actions this week.

Parts of Europe and especially the UK have loads of coal. And at these World prices, that coal would now likely be economical to dig up even with underground mining costs.

Turning it all back on quickly could be difficult, especially as the health and safety bureaucrats will want to crawl up its arse. No doubt much of the associated machinery will have been sold or scrapped.

Moving forward, how is Gorsuch ever going to use stare decisis as any form of reasoning?

I think the majority decision explained pretty well why Roe v Wade wasn’t a proper subject for stare decisis.
The baby-killers could hardly claim that there were women out there exclaiming “I only had an abortion because I thought it was a Constitutional right – I would have let my baby live if I’d known it was subject to democratic legislative authority”.
So their stare decisis argument was that there were women out there hooked up with horny no-hopers, and the women were letting the horny scrotes fuck their arse off in the belief that if their contraception failed they could get the foetus hoovered, so overturning Roe v Wade was changing the basis on which the women had gone into those relationships.
But that’s not a compelling argument for applying stare decisis, for the following reasons:
(a) the Court wasn’t banning abortion, so the Court wasn’t itself changing anything – i.e. this is quite different to a situation where a Court is asked to change a mandatory rule from “X” to “not X” and may refuse on stare decisis grounds;
(b) yes, the Court was restoring the legislatures’ constitutional power to change things, but it would be up to a legislature to decide whether to do so or not;
(c ) there was no actual evidence before the Court about whether there even are such supposed women being rooted by horny scrotes – it was mere assertion;
(d) even if there are such women, there was no evidence before the Court about whether their problem couldn’t be solved by, as was suggested on this august site a while back, rolling over and telling the scrote that if he wants a root he’s got to bowl round the wicket;
(e ) a legislature is inherently better placed than a Court to gather evidence on considerations of that type as part of its deliberative process, which is why the Constitution, properly interpreted, leaves decisions of that sort to legislatures rather than Courts.

Russia has been making with the veiled nuclear threats for months.

The UK presumably has briefed its submarine commanders on what best to do if London suddenly vanished. One might reasonably assume that Putin wouldn’t lightly invite the destruction of much of Russia’s economy and military facilities.

An immediate concern is that this is a process of ‘socialising’ tactical nukes – so that a controlled, modest kt, destruction of a Ukrainian military target would elicit fear and surrender, but avoid strategic reprisal because ‘at least it wasn’t London/Paris/Berlin…’

The Modern Democrat Voter

June 26, 2022 | Sundance

Rarely does an image encapsulate a moment in U.S. political history so succinctly. This is a brilliant, absolutely brilliant, representation of a modern leftist who votes politically in favor of democrats. This artwork is one of the best encapsulations I have seen in years.

The image is particularly poignant because modern leftists must pretend not to know things in order to advance their political ideology. The suburban female voter, perfectly showcased as a “Karen” type figure (and the gender shaded imagery) is a representation of a wealthy, white, female, suburban liberal who drives the overall policy direction of the toxic political left.

The artwork perfectly encapsulates the G7 policy announcement made by Joe Biden earlier today:

(1) To increase dependency and control the third-world population the G7 will finance a vaccine manufacturing facility in Senegal. The breeding of the brown people must be controlled – climate change policy demands it.

(2) To control the optics of the third-world complaining about it, the G7 will mobilize $335 million in private capital to control the communication systems in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The brown people must not discover the nature of their exploitation; and the citizens within the G7 nations must not find out their government is exploiting the brown people. Wouldn’t look good.

(3) The United States will spend $50 million over five years to support gender equity in the developing world increasing the friction between brown women and brown men, while ignoring cultural differences and forcing the social ideology of the West upon them. And finally….

(4) The G7, fearing third-world instability and anger from the brown people that could disrupt their supply chains, the U.S. and Western nations will now seek to increase their control of mining for mineral deposits needed for G7 batteries – and will fund more railroads and ports to export the critical material to the West more quickly.

Loads of hard coal.
But essentially Poland is the last European country with a functioning black coal industry.

The restart issue is that almost all European hard coal is only accessible by underground mining. Re-entering fairly deep, abandoned underground coal mines is generally not a practical proposition for a bunch of technical reasons.

So, the problem is not so much machinery as developing new deep mines in the face of political opposition, lawfare, and uncertainty.

Europe has deliberately positioned itself for the energy shock it now faces.

A mass exodus from the Democrats’ America

As the Washington Examiner reported this week, the end of the COVID-19 pandemic has done nothing to arrest the trend of people fleeing large cities in liberal coastal states for more pleasant and orderly locales, particularly in the Mountain West and the Sun Belt.

A mixture of unreasonable pandemic restrictions, rising crime, lawlessness, and hostility toward employers has forced this continued urban exodus.

A Census Bureau report released late last month shows which cities and towns have gained population and which have lost it. The data demonstrate that the states and cities that imposed the most draconian COVID-19 restrictions were very likely to lose population. But the fact is that the data are quite similar for the period between 2018 and 2019, when COVID-19 was not a consideration. What towns and cities gaining population generally have in common both before and during COVID-19 is that they generally live under laws made by Republicans. What towns and cities losing population have in common is that they generally live under Democratic rule.

It is hardly a coincidence that all 15 of the 15 fastest-growing cities and towns between July 2020 and July 2021 are in states that Republicans govern: Arizona, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, and Idaho. And 14 out of the 15 fastest-declining cities during the same period were in states that Democrats governed at the time.

What towns and cities gaining population generally have in common both before and during COVID-19 is that they live under laws made by Republicans. What towns and cities losing population have in common is that they live under laws made by Democrats.

While Australian families suffer through Covid-induced poverty or are left jobless due to state-Labor vaccine mandates, Foreign Minister Penny Wong has decided to gift $1 million in taxpayer dollars to terrorist-run Afghanistan.

Afghanistan was shaken by a 5.9 magnitude earthquake last week – a common occurrence in the geologically unstable region. The moderate quake caused mud houses to collapse on villagers, creating a humanitarian crisis for the Taliban.

The Taliban – who have spent their time organising the slaughter of Westerners and massacre of the Afghani people including beheadings, suicide bombers, and knife-attacks – want people they ‘hate’ to give them money.

Penny Wong’s million-dollar gift to a regime that caused so much bloodshed against innocent civilians, including Australians, comes on top of the $140 million that was handed over in 2021.

‘The earthquake has caused extensive loss of life, homes, and livelihoods, with the full effects still to be determined. This tragedy comes at a time when the humanitarian needs in Afghanistan are greater than ever.

‘Our support will be delivered through UN agencies already operating in the affected area, and will go towards providing shelter, food, and medical support for those in need.

‘The Australian Government extend its deepest condolences to the people of Afghanistan, and the Afghan-Australian community,’ said Penny Wong.

Founded during the early 1990s, the Taliban are one of the most ruthless, backward, and abusive regimes on earth squabbling for power against the Islamic State. They form one of the primary branches of the world’s barbaric Islamic terror organisations.

The group, who murdered tens of thousands of Afghanistan locals during insurgencies, have the begging bowl out to the world because they are suddenly concerned about civilian deaths. Considering they previously denied food supplies sent as aid through UN channels – what assurances does Penny Wong have that this million-dollar gift is going to the people and not the coffers of a violent regime?

It was only last year that Australia was scrambling to find refugee places for people fleeing the Taliban regime after they were informed that they would be raped, tortured, and murdered by the new government. Given this, the Labor Party are awfully chummy with a regime so dangerous our ministers (particularly female LGBT ministers like Wong) could not set foot in their country. As a Taliban spokesperson told Bild, ‘For homosexuals, there can be only two punishments: either stoning, or he must stand behind a wall that will fall down on him.’

Perhaps the Taliban could put the $7 billion worth of American military equipment they are in possession of up on Ebay if they are strapped for cash?

Giving a terror organisation a million dollars, for any reason, would be considered a serious crime if it were done by an Australian citizen. When a government does it, apparently that’s ‘okay’.

Our Russia strategy has backfired

Biden is more likely to be toppled

Whatever the origins of the Ukraine war, the West and Russia are now engaged in a broader confrontation that is not confined to the military struggle: the war has become a competition in pain-tolerance.

This is, as Thomas Schelling wrote, “a conscious process of dirty bargaining”, whereby each side tries to inflict pain and suffering on the other side until one or both yield. Put simply, the West and Russia are playing a violent version of the schoolyard game Mercy. The centrepiece of the West’s effort to inflict pain on Russia is what the historian Nicholas Mulder has called “the economic weapon”, which has been deployed at unprecedented scale. The centrepiece of Russia’s effort to inflict pain on the West is the commodities weapon. In this competition in pain-tolerance, it is not immediate whether the West or Russia has the upper hand.

The West unleashed the economic weapon with considerable fanfare. Russia, with a GDP smaller than South Korea, was treated not as a great power adversary but as a rogue stake akin to Iran — a nuisance that could be rather effortlessly strangled through the unrestrained use of Western sanctions. Great hope was placed on the idea that these sanctions would inflict such catastrophic pain on Russia as to undermine the Putin regime.

These hopes and expectations were based on wishful thinking. Non-Western powers — China, India, Brazil, Mexico and South Africa — simply refused to play along with the West. They appeared more worried by the West’s weaponisation of the dollar system than by Russian aggression against Ukraine. Even more importantly, Western leaders were gravely mistaken in their idea that Russia was a second-rate power that could be simply crushed with the economic weapon.

Russian GDP may be small, but Russia is, together with the United States, one of the only two states in the international system that can survive relatively unscathed in complete autarchy. Indeed, Russia is not dependent on the world for hard-to-replace stuff — the world is dependent on Russia. It supplies a significant fraction of the world’s energy, metals, fertilisers, and food.

The contrast with the West couldn’t be starker. The Biden administration and the Democrats look set to crash and burn on the shoals of inflation. The president’s approval rating has sunk below 40%. Democrats will almost surely lose control of Congress come November. Of course, other issues condition Democrat fortunes. But it can hardly be denied that the greatest threat to the Democrats is inflation. And inflation is at least partly under Putin’s control — he can turn the knob up and down to maximise the delivery of pain to the West.

Again, we must be clear-eyed: the source of the problem is Western misperception of Russian weakness. American Russia policy is based on the assumption that Russia is weak and the West strong. But, as we’ve seen, this assumption is unwarranted. In terms of what we can dish out to him and what he can dish out to us, it is Putin who has the upper hand.

The last one I went to I knew they were phoning it in.
Green Day do this thing where mid gig they get people out of the crowd to play drums, bass & guitar.
The first time I saw it they did the whole circus in 15mins.
A bit of fun & gave the boys a break.
The last time I saw them they fluffed around with it for over half an hour to the extent people wait for it to start so they can have a piss & get another lite beer.

This General is “impressive”. From Daily Mail.

Beast in the East! Panicking Putin ‘calls up OBESE 20st retired general to lead forces in
Putin has called an obese general out of retirement to take command of forces in Ukraine after yet another round of purges of top commanders has left him ‘scraping the barrel’. The 20 stone General Pavel, 67, has been summoned from his comfortable retirement in the Moscow suburbs and told to don his specially-made army fatigues and go to the front lines of eastern Ukraine. He will now take charge of Russian special forces operating in the region after the unit’s former commander was seriously injured in an artillery strike. A veteran of the Soviet Union’s ill-fated invasion of Afghanistan in the 1980s, he was a 40 year veteran of Russia’s special forces, but has let himself go considerably since retirement five years ago. He is understood to eat five meals a day and polish it all off with a litre of vodka. Since coming back to the service, he has had to have his uniform specially made and he needs to wear two sets of body armour to ensure his torso is protected. A senior intelligence source last night told the Daily Star Sunday : ‘Putin is now scraping the barrel. Most of his best and battle-hardened senior commanders have been killed or injured fighting in Ukraine so he is resorting to sending second rate officers to the front who don’t last very long.’ Putin has lost at least 11 generals killed in action in Ukraine.

LOL. What does ‘being strong’ mean here, Monty, if not being able to visit an abortionist, asking them to kill their baby, and then the pride to tell people they could do that?

How about you listen to women who have had an abortion. We don’t know, we’re men. Have some respect.

And don’t hang your hat on the trauma part here, either, if you look at the pro-abort literature they will tell you how remarkably easy it is and that the converse claims are a lie of the anti-abortion movement.

D&Cs are physically traumatic, and the whole process is emotionally traumatic. Shame is a big part of that trauma. I don’t blame women for wanting to minimise the shame element by vocalising their feelings.

If it’s just a nob of cells, as the abortionists tirelessly insist, why the trauma? Do they go into paroxysms of anguish and need their girlfriends’ support them every time they pop a zit?

That ‘trauma’ arises from either one of two things:

1/ Look at me, indulging in emotion-a-rama with all my girlfriends paying attention.

or

2/ They know they are snuffing out a potential human and can’t quite get the cognitive dissonance to sit right.

Beyond and before that, what’s so hard about making the bloke wear a frenchy?

A notorious former bikie has been badly bashed amid rising underworld tensions.

Jason Addison, the former Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang national president who was among several high-profile bikies booted from the Mongols in recent months, was seriously assaulted at a motorbike show in Knowsley near Heathcote two weekends ago.

Dramatic photos have emerged of a battered and bloodied Addison after the attack at the Knowsley-Barnadown Rd raceway.

The attack, which police say was targeted, came a week before ex-Mongols bikie Sam “The Punisher” Abdulrahim was shot at a funeral in a daylight ambush.

Shame is an internal emotional reaction to an external stimulus; if someone is felling ashamed it’s because the judgment of others has touched a nerve within, namely the conscience. If the conscience is properly formed, and the act being judged is objectively morally wrong, then being ashamed is actually a good thing, not a bad thing, and can lead to a positive change in thought and action.

The drive to suppress this process is evil.

However, your information was priceless. Our problems actually date back to around June1 when you said Gmail & other providers started to get “antsy” about authentication. We think we have fallen victim to this range war even though no one will concede this is what is happening. What is it with this era of secret campaigns to deprive us mugs of our rights & freedoms??? Our regional guru hinted at a problem of territory between Optus & Active8 but was coy about it & not helpful in how to protect our service (I loathe calling it that!!!)

But you are right BofN about the need for alternate service providers. It looks like we will have to give up the email addresses we have had for 30 years or so & find a reliable service. I also resent the amount of time we have had to devote to this problem & the angst it has given us. My brain is not configured to master numbers, symbols & codes & I have found this exhausting & infuriating.

But thank you Bruce for that info which explains a lot. Like everything today – the data is proliferating more quickly than society can handle. It just irks me that the providers can turn a switch & deprive us of the data we need. Sign of the times ahead, people!

Dem plotting the overthrow of the court…

Im sure they can shoehorn that into the Jan 6 hearings.

‘They set a torch to it’: Warren says court lost legitimacy with Roe reversal
Top Democrats again call for appointing additional justices to blunt conservative super-majority which made ruling possible

Leading Democrats on Sunday continued calling the supreme court’s legitimacy into question after it took away the nationwide right to abortion last week, and some again lobbied for appointing additional justices to the panel so as to blunt the conservative super-majority which made the controversial ruling possible.

The Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren suggested to ABC’s This Week that there was urgency to do that because supreme court justice Clarence Thomas indicated within Friday’s decision to overturn the landmark Roe v Wade ruling that he’s open to reconsidering precedents guaranteeing contraception, same-sex marriage rights and consensual gay sex.

“They have burned whatever legitimacy they may still have had,” Warren said of the supreme court. “They just took the last of it and set a torch to it.”
Warren joined Georgia gubernatorial candidate and Democratic organizer Stacey Abrams in again lobbying to expand the supreme court in a way that balances the current makeup of six conservatives and three liberals.

Appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press, the New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocascio-Cortez argued that drastic measures were justified.

“I believe that the president and the Democratic party needs to come to terms with is that this is not just a crisis of Roe – this is a crisis of our democracy,” Ocascio-Cortez said.

The congresswoman also said the supreme court was undergoing “a crisis of legitimacy”, making it a point to allude to how Thomas’s wife, Ginni, emailed 29 Republican lawmakers in Arizona as she tried to help overturn Biden’s victory over Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

The supreme court has dramatically overreached its authority,*” Ocascio-Cortez said. “This is a crisis of legitimacy.”

* So the Supremes didnt overreach when they found a hidden right to a practice on par with witchcraft cunningly inserted by the founding fathers.

Bourne – I’ve just been looking at that story. And I mean really looking at it. Hard.

Tried everything. There is no General Pavel (first or last name) in any search I can find that is this guy. There’s no other images of him I can see. On at least two message boards other people have tried to find out who he actually is, and nothing. Reverse photo search apparently doesn’t find any images of him. One guy did identify the cap and uniform as actually Russian, but that’s about it.

He doesn’t seem to exist…except in that photo. And absolutely all the stories you see in the MSM all go back to the original Daily Star story. Nothing, nil, zip corroboration at all.

I had a lot of fun trying to dig out his actual identity and bio, but failed completely. Fake news, sorry, although I’d rather like Putin to call up General Fat Bastard to win the Z War. It’d be worthy of a Mike Myers movie.

A Pink Insurrection

Abortionists stormed the Wisconsin state capitol building. They interrupted an ongoing special session and demanded that lawmakers overturn their rulings, interrupting a democratic process with screams and chants. There will be no news of this in the mainstream media. There will not be a January 6 manhunt for anyone who “stormed” the capitol.

Anyone who entered or even attended the January 6 protest has been tracked down and arrested. They claimed that the protestors on January 6 were violent, which could not be farther from the truth. This group backed by Planned Parenthood has a violent past. One supporter already tried to kill a Supreme Court justice, while others have burned down churches and businesses that do not support their beliefs. Will the lawmakers at the capitol cry on television like AOC and Pelosi and claim they feared for their lives? No. Did anyone care when a man with zip ties, a knife, and a gun attempted to enter the home of Justice Kavanaugh? No.

The left is permitted to commit crimes and terrorize the country with zero repercussions.

Intriguing that, while abortion is legal in all Australian states, the reconciling of killing potential humans at will with incidents where this happens against the wishes of the mother — ie., pregnant mum loses baby when his by drunk driver — is a minefield for pro-death supporters:

…. Zoe’s Law has been introduced to the NSW parliament a number of times. It was passed by the Legislative Assembly in 2013 but lapsed before debate in the Legislative Council. It was reintroduced as a Private Member’s Bill in March 2017, with debate being adjourned in October 2017.

A key reason for supporting foetal homicide laws is a belief that the law should recognise the loss of an unborn child in these circumstances as a separate and distinct loss, and more than just an injury suffered by a pregnant woman.

The key concern raised by opponents is that foetal homicide laws recognise an unborn child as having a separate legal identity to its mother, with potential implications for abortion laws and the legal rights of pregnant women.

These are important considerations, but the issues are not inevitably interlinked. For example, an argument that Queensland foetal homicide laws gave rise to an expanded concept of legal personhood (with implications for laws concerning abortion) was described as ‘without foundation’ by the Queensland courts in 2010…..

More on Zoe’s Law, since passed, here.
