Listen Dover, you set rules. You then allowed the Thought Leadership to post what may or may not be private information about me. You’ve now said that anyone doing that will be banned. Pity you waited so long.

Let’s leave Clorox aside.

You’re now starting the ambiguity again with what is and isn’t a pile-on and you’re twisting shit around.

The last point in bold is very interesting

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed the bill into law last year, provisions such as eliminating cash bail will take effect on Jan. 1 of 2023. The law makes Illinois the first state in the country to eliminate cash bail.

The SAFE-T Act:
abolishing cash bail will affect “almost every offense,” including “kidnapping, armed robbery, second degree murder, drug induced homicide, aggravated DUI, threatening a public official and aggravated fleeing and eluding.” Town leadership also argued that victims of crimes will be denied “their constitutional rights,” denounced how offenders released on electronic monitoring devices will need to be in violation of their parole for 48 hours before police can act, and police will no longer be able to remove trespassers from a residence or business.

Senior Northern Territory police were constantly covering up Constable Zachary Rolfe’s unjustified use of force, according to statements made by his former fiance.

Claudia Campagnaro – a former Alice Springs police officer – also told investigators Constable Rolfe had told her he liked being a soldier because “it was good money and they could go out and kill people”.

Can’t find a photo of Claudia but I bet she has flashing dark eyes, that are large, limpid and dead. Poor old Zac has more bullseyes on his back than head prefect has shorts.

Dr Scamps told The Telegraph: “My husband and I decided to invest in Tesla back in 2019, well before I had any intention to enter politics.

“We made this decision as it aligned with our family’s values, and our belief that the world must transition to a net zero future if we are to leave our children a liveable world.”

This is utter bullshit. I can understand someone saying that investing in an EV company aligns with their “values”, since investing in a company supports what it’s doing, even if only in an indirect way by supporting its share price.
Though of course even someone who owns EV shares should recuse themselves from deliberations about throwing taxpayers’ money at the EV industry.

What did you think of the bloke who gave it to Prince Andrew during the funeral procession?

Anyway back to the discussion with the Duk

Duk, from WW2 up to 1971, I think it was, we had Bretton Woods which had the dollar fixed to gold, called the gold exchange standard. In fact, up to 1971 the Australia pound and then dollar was indirectly set to gold firstly through the Pound and subsequently through the dollar.

You think this was stable period for inflation? Check out the RBA page for historical CPI and insert the values. Inflation between federation and 1965.

The inflation rate for the period was 2.8% (1901 to 1965)

Here:

https://www.rba.gov.au/calculator/annualPreDecimal.html

This suggests things were out of line when the dollar wasn’t anchored to a currency which in turn was anchored to gold or when they introduced and inflation target in 1993.

Rita Panahi: AFL displayed appalling judgment by giving into divisive Leftist voices
AFLW players should be embarrassed they couldn’t bring themselves to honour one of the most significant women in history.

HERALDSUN.COM.AU

The pitiful decision by the AFL to ditch a tribute to the Queen during AFLW Indigenous round gives an insight into what we can expect if we continue to pander to the race-baiters and the identity politics-obsessed activist class.
It’s a road to division, collective guilt and the most noxious form of political correctness.

AFLW players should be embarrassed they couldn’t bring themselves to honour one of the most significant women in history.

As many have noted it appears the W in AFLW stands for ‘woke’, not ‘women’.

If it wasn’t for the ‘western imperialism’ that they decry so incoherently there wouldn’t be an AFLW or the many platforms where the perpetually aggrieved can play victim.

Aboriginal leader Warren Mundine was disgusted by the AFL’s actions. “I’m a little tired of white people and woke organisations speaking for Aboriginal people and assuming to know what Aboriginal people think and feel,” he wrote.

Author and political science professor Wilfred Reilly describes wokism as the idiotic belief that “(1) all of society is currently and intentionally structured to oppress, (2) all gaps in performance between large groups illustrate this, and (3) the solution is ‘equity’ – proportional representation without regard to performance.” A more succinct definition is one I saw on a T-shirt: “Woke: A state of awareness only achieved by those dumb enough to find injustice in everything but their own behaviour.”

Queen Elizabeth II’s death has triggered a competition between the opportunists, victimhood appropriators and other assorted attention seekers determined to make this moment in history about them.

In their eagerness to play victim they demonise the Queen, the Monarchy, the British Empire and Western civilisation but they also have revealed how historically illiterate they are on all these issues.

It’s a sad state of affairs when the dude from MAFS has a better grasp of reality than Greens MPs and many academics.

Dean Wells posted: “To all the people whinging about “colonialism” from their iPhones, powered by electricity, using a written language, from inside a building that has constant running water, plumbing, aircon and all other modern conveniences that western civilisation has provided for us all to live the most comfortable, prosperous, safe, privileged lives of any humans in all of history … Please kindly STFU or go back to living in the bush.”

The AFL displayed appalling judgment by giving into the most radical, divisive Leftist voices.

Yes. They’re having a giant whinge about the Cullinan diamond being “looted” from South Africa and renamed for an oppressor.

The truth – the Cullinen was cut from a giant rough diamond, one of nine big stones. It was named for the chairman of the mine and was presented to the Crown in 1905.

Son and heir just recently swapped out his 97 Fairlane for a ute*. Not because I have been in his ear to get a ute rather than the procession of stupid doofmobile shitboxes he’s been rotating through for the past year and a bit, and not for the reasons put forward as to why he should get one – which included, but were not limited to:

1. They are practical;
2. Prospective employers will see a ute as an indicator of a preparedness to actually work, as opposed to someone driving a 2002 Lancer with bald tyres and the previous owner’s ‘West Side Ryderz’ sticker on the rear windshield; and
3. There is no likelihood of a carload of pissed mates egging him on to exceed his driving ability and thus wrap it, himself and his mates around trees and/or culverts.

Noooo, not because of wise fatherly advice. It turned out to be because he had the shits on about becoming a taxi service for not only his missus but her sister and various friends, ferrying them all over town to and from shops, parties and so on, and in between his own work and school commitments. Now, he says, he can only do it for one rather than several.

I said to him last night: ‘Are you ferrying her all over town at all times of the day and night because you want to, or because you feel you have to?’

‘Er, um, ah.’

Durham shocker: Danchenko was a paid FBI informant

Techno Fog

Today, Special Counsel John Durham moved to unseal this motion in limine in the false statements case against Igor Danchenko.

This motion provides new information on the details of Danchenko’s lies to the FBI, further information on how Special Counsel Mueller ignored Danchenko’s false statements, expected testimony from Clinton-connected executive Charles Dolan, and one crazy development.

But we’ll start with the the most damning development: Danchenko was on the FBI payroll as a confidential human source (CHS) from March 2017 through October 2020.

The purposes of making Danchenko a CHS should be quite clear. The Crossfire Hurricane investigation was plagued with problems from the outset. The reasons for opening the investigation were bunk.

Those problems continued as the investigation went on, with claims of Trump/Russia collusion proven unverified or outright false. (Thus the targeting of Flynn for a Logan Act violation.)
Those problems continued with the Carter Page FISA applications, first submitted to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) in October 2016, and which relied substantially on the Steele Dossiers (aka Steele Reports). The FISA applications were renewed three times – more on that later. Each application had its own problems, from FBI lawyers lying about Carter Page to the Court being generally misled.

Realizing its own misconduct, the FBI made Danchenko a paid CHS in March 2017 – just before the third FISA warrant was submitted in April 2017. This would allow Comey’s FBI to work directly with Danchenko in support of its counter-intelligence investigation against President Trump.

Danchenko being a CHS also served another purpose: it protected the Bureau and the Mueller Special Counsel from revealing their “sources and methods.” How do you hide misconduct? Bury the witness.

(Read again Inspector General Horowitz’s report concerning the Carter Page FISA warrants. Even Horowitz didn’t know that Danchenko was a CHS.)

Context helps – here’s a brief timeline of the Danchenko interviews and other important events:

Then there are Danchenko’s false statements about Charles Dolan, an influential Democrat executive with ties to the Clintons. Interestingly, it was Dolan who was given a tour of the Ritz-Carlton Presidential Suite, which was the supposed location of “Trump’s alleged lurid sexual activities.”

What is Durham’s theory on Danchenko’s motive for lying about the Ritz-Carlton allegations? Because it reflects “a deliberate effort to conceal from the FBI Charles Dolan’s role as a source for the Steele Reports and to deceive the FBI regarding Millian’s role (or lack thereof).”

Zelensky Says Ukraine Has Retaken 6,000 Square KM, But Army “Worried” About Defending It

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said his forces have reclaimed 6,000 square kilometers of occupied territory from Russia since starting a major counteroffensive last month. Western media is presenting events near Kharkiv as an absolute rout of Russian forces, with other sources cautioning there’s little that can be verified, also amid the question of whether regained territory can actually be held and permanently controlled by Ukraine.

Ukraine’s defense minister Oleksii Reznikov himself admitted in a Monday Financial Times report that a prime worry remains the ability to hold on to the territory amid superior Russian munitions and supplies. “A counter-offensive liberates territory and after that you have to control it and be ready to defend it,” he said, with the caveat: “Of course, we have to be worried, this war has worried us for years.”

‘CAN’T MAKE THIS UP’

White House claims prices ‘essentially flat,’ throws ‘inflation reduction’ party as annual rate hovers at 8.3%

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted Tuesday both that inflation was “essentially flat” and that it was OK for President Biden to host a large celebration of his Inflation Reduction Act — even though annual inflation remains elevated at 8.3%.

“Overall, prices have been essentially flat in our country these last two months. That is welcome news for American families with more work still to do,” Jean-Pierre said at her regular briefing, moments ahead of the large South Lawn bash.

Republicans, however, attacked Biden as “out of touch” for hosting a celebration for the environmental and healthcare spending bill — noting that inflation remains at its highest level since the early 1980s.

“You can’t make it up: Hours after this terrible inflation report, the White House is hosting an ‘inflation reduction’ celebration,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) tweeted. “Democrats have spent our economy into disaster and now they’re partying while families pay. They could not look more out of touch if they tried.”

August data showed a continued demand-driven decline in the cost of gasoline. But cheaper gas was offset by steep 12-month jumps in the cost of food (up 13.5%), electricity (15.8%), rent (6.8%) and health insurance (24.3%).

Biden’s staff repeatedly plugged the South Lawn festivities Tuesday in tweets from his account.

Once Gold Standard Agencies Now Like ‘Horror Movie’ as Crony Capitalism Profiteered during Pandemic

The disaster that has been the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) continues to unfold with fallout on all fronts and serious ramifications for the trio’s credibility moving forward. From the CDC acknowledging its bungled much of the pandemic response to high-profile departures in the FDA—due to a series of questionable high-profile decisions, such as authorizing the COVID-19 vaccines for babies as young as 6 months old—to proactive wars on doctors who prescribe generic repurposed drugs for COVID-19 and clear industry capture in at least parts of the NIH, TrialSite News has chronicled wild crony capitalism run amok, including regulatory capture throughout the pandemic at high levels of the U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) as well as even the White House. Early on, few in the media, health care sector or government responded to TrialSite News articles chronicling these problems, but the desire to reform these badly hurt, one-time Gold Standard agencies, picks up momentum. Soon the pressure will build for serious reform.

NYC pols push for e-bike battery regulation after string of deadly fires

Following a rash of deadly fires caused by faulty e-bike scooter batteries, a City Councilman plans to introduce a new bill prohibiting the sale of non-certified batteries.

Democrat Oswald Feliz’s district is among several that have seen fires break out as a result of faulty e-bike batteries. Several fires have turned fatal — including an Aug. 1 blaze that trapped a 2-year-old and her mother inside their apartment.

E-bike related fires have killed nine people and injured 164 others in the last two years, according to FDNY — compared to zero deaths the previous two years.

To combat the issue, Feliz’s bill, which has yet to be introduced, would bar the sale of e-bikes that don’t have batteries certified by a “nationally recognized testing lab” and would also ban the sale of bikes with refurbished batteries.

It comes as an alternative to a city proposal to ban the vehicles from being stored in public housing.

Cory Bernardi Confidential
Cory Bernardi Confidential
Ethically Unjustifiable
By Cory Bernardi – 14 Sep 2022 – View online ?

Hi David,

After two years of pushing unscientific health propaganda, research scientists are now publicly disclosing the truth about the COVID-19 vaccines.

What they are revealing is an indictment on our medical, media and political fraternity.

Rather than ‘safe and effective’ as they tried to brainwash people into believing, these experimental mRNA jabs are a non-cure worse than the actual disease.

The data is damning and a recent study concludes that booster mandates actually do more harm than good.

Nine scientists from top research universities including Harvard and Johns Hopkins, found that for every hospitalisation prevented by boosters, multiple adverse events occurred.

“Using CDC and sponsor-reported adverse event data, we find that booster mandates may cause a net expected harm: per COVID-19 hospitalisation prevented in previously uninfected young adults, we anticipate 18 to 98 serious adverse events.”

The study went on to identify that University booster mandates are unethical, detailing five key rationales.

no formal risk-benefit assessment exists for this age group;

vaccine mandates may result in a net expected harm to individual young people

mandates are not proportionate: expected harms are not outweighed by public health benefits given the modest and transient effectiveness of vaccines against transmission;

US mandates violate the reciprocity principle because rare serious vaccine-related harms will not be reliably compensated due to gaps in current vaccine injury schemes; and

mandates create wider social harms.

You can download the study through the link below.
COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters for Young Adults:
A Risk-Benefit Assessment and Five Ethical Arguments against Mandates
SSRN-id4206070.pdf • 757 KB

While tackling the ethical concerns surrounding these vaccines, the researchers also found “a profound lack of transparency in scientific and regulatory policy making.”

This ties in with our pre-vaccine release expose of the ethical failure of clinicians to disclose the risk of Antibody Dependency Enhancement (ADE) from mRNA treatments.

Aside from the compelling medical data, one of the most interesting aspects of this report is the discussion surrounding the importance of proportionality in public policy.

Proportionality is a key principle in public health ethics. To be proportionate, a policy must be expected to produce public health benefits that outweigh relevant harms, including harms related to coercion, undue pressure, and other forms of liberty restriction.

To me, this overreach is just as dangerous as the physical damage done by these medical experiments.

The pandemic allowed a new liberty limiting precedent to be set by government. It was justified by their quest to ‘flatten the curve.’

Like so much else attached to this time, it was an absurd proposition and whatever their original optimism, it didn’t take long for anyone looking to see the futility of this policy approach.

However, rather than backdown in the face of failure, governments (and their allies) doubled-down with increasingly outrageous rhetoric to keep the public scared and compliant.

Even now, the authorities are still pushing booster jabs through public funded media campaigns. They are even promoting needles for young children despite them having next to no risk from this flu like illness.

It’s simply appalling.

While many will now claim it is time to move on, I certainly don’t advocate putting this stain on our freedoms behind us.

We need more exposure of the dreadful calumny that was imposed upon the people by the triumvirate of our institutions.

Only then is there any possibility, albeit a minuscule one, of those behind it actually being held to account.

Have a great day.

Cory

South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham introduced legislation Tuesday that would ban abortions nationwide after 15 weeks, except in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is in danger.

At the press conference, Graham said that “it is left up to the elected officials in America to define the issue.”

“States have the ability to do it at the state level, and we have the ability in Washington to speak on this issue if we choose. I have chosen to speak,” he said.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre issued a statement condemning the bill on Tuesday.

“Today, Senator Graham introduced a national ban on abortion which would strip away women’s rights in all 50 states,” Jean-Pierre said. “This bill is wildly out of step with what Americans believe.”

The ban is unlikely to advance, with a Democrat-controlled Congress and the White House held by President Joe Biden, who is on record as one of the most pro-abortion presidents in history.

Indolent.
“Being sued” means precisely nothing in California.
As far as litigation goes, it is a state chock full of Fat Cloives.
Get back to us when it has exhausted all appeals.

Graham has given a lovely present to the Democrats for the midterms

Monty, the word you’re looking for is “wedge”.

Lindsay Graham is not a Republican, but a Republican In Name Only (as I just explained to you).

I expect his new show on CNN will be announced shortly as he becomes the left’s latest useful idiot. He will do whatever it takes to ensure the Dems don’t lose control of the White House or the federal government.

Do I believe Tucker Carlson, known in the past for wearing a bowtie in media appearances before he was given Bill O’Reilly’s slot on Fox, is as much of a fascist as he appears in his show? No.

Like all Fox blowhards, he got the kill shot despite railing against it night after night.

If he was ever sued, he would fall on the Alex Jones defence: he didn’t mean all those things he said, it was just a performance for entertainment value.

In Scoundrel Science news:

Humanity ‘going in the wrong direction’ on climate change, UN warns

The impacts of climate change are “heading into uncharted territories of destruction”, UN secretary-general António Guterres warned on Tuesday on the release of a multi-agency scientific report reviewing the latest research on the subject.

It found that after an unprecedented 5.4 per cent fall in emissions in 2020 due to lockdowns and travel restrictions, preliminary data from January-May this year shows global CO2 emissions are 1.2 per cent higher than before COVID-19.

This is largely down to large year-on-year increases in the United States, India, and most European countries, the assessment found.

But not down to China’s world-leading 3.4% year-on-year increase.

Hard to imagine why the world is being so slow, when the “unprecedented 5.4 per cent fall in emissions in 2020” stands out like dog’s balls on the global CO2 chart.

It’s almost as if something other than The Model is happening…

Theo Theophanous: Adam Bandt is powerless to stop Lidia Thorpe destroying the Greens brand

Is Adam Bandt scared of Lidia Thorpe?

No. I would say he is terrified of her.

Thorpe is step by step destroying the Greens brand and Bandt seems powerless to stop her.

Her most recent condemnation of the Queen as a coloniser is a body blow to the Greens image coming in the weeks before the Queen’s passing.

Bandt could not bring himself to simply give condolences to the Queen’s family.

He used the occasion to call for Treaty with First Nations people and a Republic.

A man with a normally polite demeanour, Bandt must have known that this was insensitive and inappropriate.

The fact that he felt obliged to say such words shows the power Thorpe has in shaping the Greens narrative.

And she is not alone. The deputy leader of the Greens, Mehreen Faruqi, like Thorpe, was happy to swear allegiance to the Queen to collect her $200,000 plus salary in the Senate, but still came out with: “I cannot mourn the leader of a racist empire built on stolen lives, land and wealth of colonised peoples.”

Thorpe’s antics in the Senate could be written off as infantile, but they nevertheless damage the Greens brand.

Consider the images of Thorpe storming through parliament lobby in full black power salute, giving the finger to the assembled, or her provocation in refusing to describe herself as an Australian, or her inflammatory statements about genocide or accusing other senators, such as Alex Antic, of racism because he decried the demise of Western civilisation under the weight of woke culture.

Thorpe’s abusive behaviour towards police at a protest was widely condemned and her comment directed at Liberal senator Hollie Hughes, who has an autistic son, that “at least I keep my legs shut” had sinister undertones and was truly beyond the pale.

Bandt cannot claim to be a leader while he refuses to criticise Thorpe and other extremists in his party.

Lindsay Graham is not a Republican, but a Republican In Name Only (as I just explained to you).

If you think he is a Democrat plant, I have some Martian real estate to sell you LOL.

The Republican base is cheering him along. On this issue, at least, he is fully Republican. It’s the squishy Senators who are muttering out of the side of their mouths “not now Lindsay, wait until after the midterms when we have more flexibility” who are out of step with GOP voters.

Shorter: black letter fuckall. Ploppy, meaningless words dressed up as considered, resolute action.

Like the federal Education Act 2010. But, like the Education Act, it will serve as the law that underpins massive spending.

Yes, indeed it will.
The ‘we are just obeying the law’ parliamentary defence.

  1. Their “dignity, autonomy and even ascendancy” is best achieved in their original homelands, which already include conquered regions. Return there,…

  2. Seems to me it would rely on a basic level of trust between the general population and the authorities that…
