Was on Sky News earlier. If you look under heading Coronavirus in the business section you will see the two most recent podcasts / videos feature Pfizer reps. I saw one of them on YouTube yesterday and it featured the Oz Pfizer rep. The comments section was 95% negative. The 2nd features a EU rep but no comments.

Both pretty much propaganda.

Below part of latest Covid scare post at News com au. Most of the article based on comments by ABC’s Norman Swan.

“Adding to the impending crisis was the fact current variants were “immune evasive”, both to the natural immune response and that created by vaccines, Dr Swan said.

“Because they’re part of the Omicron family, the experts believe these aren’t necessarily more virulent, but they’re more vaccine evasive,” he said.

“Even with a BA5, we had 13,000 deaths. We get another surge, then we’re going to see more deaths. And the problem with the immune evasion is made worse by the fact we’re under-immunised.”

He estimated about five million Australians were under-immunised, which put the community at serious risk ahead of the holiday period.

“If you have your third dose, you have a third of the risk, if you have a fourth dose, it’s a 30th of a risk. Even with all the immune evasion, there’s a significant benefit from having that,” he claimed.”

Where the heck did the BS in the last para come from. On the one hand they say Vax evasive (never mind Vax not effective v Omicron) and then look at the claim regarding 4th dose. All designed to get further Vax into us.

“Experts” like him should be under investigation. What research is he basing his BS on ?

Furious Western Sydney leaders are calling for an urgent meeting with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese — accusing him of pressing ahead with the resettlement of ISIS families into their neighbourhoods without enough community consultation.
State MPs and local and community leaders have banded together to slam Mr Albanese’s push to bring back about 60 women and children who lived as a part of the Islamic State during its torturous regime in Syria and Iraq.

State Labor MP for Fairfield Guy Zangari broke ranks to criticise his federal counterpart Chris Bowen and the Commonwealth for leaving his community in the dark.

“The fact that this is happening is very triggering to them … The community should be brought along for the broader discussion so they aren’t being left out,” he said.

“They have every right to feel that way because of the treatment at the hands of ISIS in Syria and Iraq. They deserve to be involved in conversations.

Pam, a beautiful, well-endowed, young blonde, goes to her local pet store in search of an exotic pet. As she looks about the store, she notices a box full of frogs.

The sign says: Oral Sex Frogs Only $20 each! Money-Back Guarantee! (Comes with complete instructions).

Pam excitedly looks around to see if anybody’s watching her and whispers softly to Ralph, the man behind the counter “I’ll take one”.

Ralph, packaging up the frog, says “Just follow the instructions carefully. Page me if there’s a problem”. He hands Pam his card.

Pam nods ‘okay’ grabs the box, and is quickly on her way home.

As soon as she closes the door to her apartment, Pam takes out the instructions and reads them thoroughly, doing exactly what it says to do…

First, she takes a shower. Then she splashes on some nice smelling perfume. Then she slips into a very sexy nightie. Finally, as instructed, she crawls into bed, spreads her legs, and puts the frog between her legs.

And nothing happens!

Pam is frustrated and quite upset at this point. She re-reads the instructions and notices at the bottom of the paper. It says “If you have any problems or questions, please call the pet store”. So, Pam calls…

Ralph, the man from behind the counter says “I’m sorry about the problem. We had some complaints earlier this week and I think I know how to fix the problem. I’ll be right over”.

Within five minutes, Ralph is ringing her doorbell.

Pam welcomes him in and says “See, I’ve done everything according to the instructions and the damn thing just sits there”.

Ralph, looking very concerned, picks up the frog, stares directly into its eyes and sternly says “Listen to me! I’m only going to show you how to do this one more time!”

It’s not that I want IS corpses strewn over Sydney streets. Cough.

However, IS did have a habit of beheading children on the opposing team and doing rapey stuff to the ladeeees, particularly those on said team.

And it’s undeniable that some of the people who resettled in western Siderneee may hold a little grudge against the IS types that did those exact things to their relatives, and not all that long ago.

ASIO are clearly fully involved with monitoring dangerous domestic terrorists like St. Ruth. They’re far too busy spinning the ‘who do we watch this month’ wheel to worry about IS chickies and apprentices being delivered into the laps of their former victims.

It should come as no surprise to the ponytail advisor brigade when bits of IS people start turning up outside mosques and shopping centres and schools and on roads. But it will.

Police Beg UK Public Not to Take Tackling Green Extremist Protesters Into Their Own Hands (31 Oct)

Matt Twist, an Assistant Commissioner within London’s Metropolitan Police, has begged members of the UK public to leave combatting extremist protesters to law enforcement.

The request comes as Britons across the country lose patience with green agenda militants in the likes of extremist direct-action organisation Just Stop Oil, with highly disruptive protests organised by the radical faction now often being met with angry members of the UK public.

Well son if you actually did your job people would not be doing this. And if you still keep on not doing your job you will lose all respect and cooperation from the public. That’s how it works.

Just read that Oster (The Atlantic) article.

These precautions were totally misguided. In April 2020, no one got the coronavirus from passing someone else hiking. Outdoor transmission was vanishingly rare. Our cloth masks made out of old bandanas wouldn’t have done anything, anyway. But the thing is: We didn’t know.

The problem is that she’s conflating her family’s innocent and worried response with public policy. Frightened, uninformed people who act out of fear are quite different to government edicts, designed to repress and humiliate and punish.

I understand the concern of many who, with the gobbling up of world wide PPE by the Chinese, made cloth masks from anything they could find. I did it too for my family (and more recently, as an up yours to stupid airlines who still required the useless things).

Her sly b/s about bleach is also pathetic. No one injected bleach into themselves. A woman used Trump’s words as cover to murder her husband. The end.

I have no intention of extending the olive branch to anyone, including government, who used the pandemic to punish and repress and humiliate people. And that includes loudmouths and b/s-ers from all sides of the debate.

LET’S DECLARE A PANDEMIC AMNESTY
We need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID.
By Emily Oster”

Without reading the full thing, does Ms Oster ask for forgiveness or does she just expect us to forgive anyway? Ms Oster, being the good progressive she is, probably has no idea about the notion or act of forgiveness so, I suspect she is saying that we, the great unwashed, must forgive regardless? However, in order for a person or a people to forgive, the perpetrator, be it an individual, a group or a government, must search their souls and repent first. Forgiveness is an act. It isn’t an empty word. Otherwise you cannot forgive and forgiveness if pointless. I see no such repentance by our federal or state governments, instead I see them deliberately taking cover and obfuscating and lying, a continuation of what they’ve done for almost three years. In other words, they’ve learnt nothing and each and everyone one of them would do it again in a heartbeat.

The Torah is quite clear on this, if someone commit an action which is wrong, they must seek forgiveness. Forgiveness can only be accepted from the victim.

Governments, media and individuals in these governments, from Dan Andrews, to Health Hazzard to Bret Sutton to Palachook to Maggot McClown to Norman Swan and all the rest of the scum, all need to say to the Australian people, we are sorry, we fucked up by shutting down businesses, we fucked up with forced lockdowns, we fucked up with mandatory vaccinations, we fucked up demonising those who refused to be vaccinated, we fucked up bashing, beating, bludgeoning, assaulting and arresting ordinary Australians, including a pregnant women in her own home, we fucked up preventing Australians from travelling across state borders or overseas, we fucked up allowing progressive BLM marches but demonising ordinary Australian men and women marching to protest the loss of their livelihoods being taken away.

WE WERE WRONG, WE FUCKED UP, WE APOLOGISE.

Until I hear those words from every single one of those politicians, bureaucrats, journalists and so on who inflicted the whole pandemic scam on us, I shall not forgive and I’m perfectly within my rights to never forgive.

getting a disease wrong is one thing, but presuming the coercive dispensation to take whatever your “conclusion” is (especially if you are “in the dark”) and force it upon the rest of us because it makes you feel less frightened (or perhaps allows you to savor the dark frisson of being beastly to others while telling yourself you’re a good person for doing it) is not something you get amnesty for.

there is a sleight of hand in the thinking here like somehow having misunderstood a pandemic excuses the mass scale abrogation of rights and reason.

it doesn’t.

Quite so.

Stupid vic liberals agree with dictator Dan with the funding of the net ballers

Wow. They did not think to ask why the Netballers were wandering around hat in hand and rattling a tin cup.

Because a person who was giving them money without any requirement that they advertise her company did not fall on her face to also apologise for what her father said in the 80’s they turned down her help.

Instead they accepted money from a government that actually did terrible things (is there anyone not in a default posture of defending Dan’s government, such as a PR hack, who does not think the Victorian lockdowns were over the top?) and the people who did them are still there, the ones they are actually dealing with!

Well, you are known by the company you keep. I get the feeling sports codes (at least the minnows among them) prefer government money because no amount of economic turmoil or pain felt by the people who provide the money (taxpayers) will persuade those who give it to you (the government) to turn the spigot off.

Instead of trusting in someone like Gina to give you money to train hard and play your best and risk her having to moderate her gift in straitened times, go to a government which will extract the full amount as taxation under threat of fines or even imprisonment.

Dan gets to play the beneficent saviour and also to pose as the anti-racist. The Diamonds now no longer have to concentrate on sport or even winning. If they lose games because they are campaigning against white privilege or patriarchy or those bigots opposed to mutilating children, the so be it.

I’m not sure why the CFR for delta (0.7% in your link) is so different from the numbers in https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus (CFR ~3%). I suspect the 3% is a peak, and not averaged over the whole delta wave.

This should only end after the trials and public hangings (or whatever method of execution is decided). There would have been very few in public office who were acting out of fear. This was pre-meditated and coordinated.

I will be angry about this for the rest of my life. I know I won’t see justice on earth but I will see Judgement Day. I shouldn’t make light of it but I hope there is popcorn in Heaven.

Yes, I know I should be praying that these people repent and and accept Christ’s forgiveness and there but for the grace of God go I, however I can’t control their actions and choices, only mine.

I came out, 10pound tourist, in 1967 (19yrs old) knew no-one in Oz, $39 in the pocket .. landed, Mascot, on a Sunday morning, digging trenches for the Water Board by following Tuesday ……

Agreed.
Average age of those dying from the plague is greater than average life expectancy.
Chance of dying of covid at age 90 is about 3%.
Chance of dying of anything in the next 12 months at 90 is about 20%.
The deadly plague remains one of the small risks of living.
At 90, central control takes away your last birthday celebration and regular visits from family.
The public health treatment was so much worse than the disease.
In our general practice, with lots and lots of old folk with lots of comorbidities, we had one supposed “covid” death.

Everyone is Laughing at the Ridiculous Pelosi Big Lie

Meet the underwear-clad MAGA assassin from a hippie commune in Berkeley.

October 31, 2022 by Kurt Schlichter

How dare you reject the Official Approved Narrative parroted by the regime media about the weird Schiff that went down at Casa de Pelosi the other night. There’s only one possible explanation, according to experts, licensed journalists, and our betters – an underwear-clad MAGA assassin from a hippie commune in Berkeley who is best known for his nudist activism broke into the oddly unguarded mansion of the Speaker of the House, a wealthy woman who has her police force and has not been shy about expounding on the perilous peril she faces from murderous insurrectionists, carrying a hammer and encountered the wide-awake Paul Pelosi, also in his skivvies, who the intruder then let go off and call the cops wherein Mr. Pelosi referred to the guy as his friend.

Look, it’s pretty clear that this was just one more Trump-inspired attack on Our Democracy, and to fail to accept this wholeheartedly is to be a conspiracy theorist who is blaming the victim and doing Putin’s bidding. It’s also racist.

That’s certainly one way to look at it. Perhaps a guy walking through San Francisco in his Fruit of the Looms with a hammer in his hand at 2 a.m. might not draw a lot of attention, but a lot of things don’t quite add up. Hey, I don’t know about you, but I have a few questions, some of which could be quickly answered with a House oversight committee deposing Paul Pelosi once he recovers and, just to be sure, sending a subpoena to Grindr.

The smart play would have been to say nothing, to pass it off as some random transient breaking into the Pelosi pad. Heck, a lot of people would buy that even if the lack of security seemed odd. And then you move on to other things and this gets forgotten and Nancy quietly places Paul Pelosi into Sunny Acres so he stops embarrassing her with his sordid antics. But no. No, they had to try to hang this incident around our necks. And they are so used to having the assistance of social media in hiding unapproved narratives – like the demonstrably true Hunter Biden laptop revelations – that they assumed no one would be able to raise any questions about their Big Lie. Except for not only did Elon Musk buy Twitter but he also pushed back when Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit – herself a seasoned pro at cleaning up the sexual shenanigans of her hornier half – joined the “MAGA people did it!” chorus.

The regime media is in full effect now, acting as janitors for their political masters in the Democrat Party.

From the Comments on Pedo Pelosi Affair, I keep learning new words

– Oh this is too rich for words. Paul Pelosi a finocchio!! I guess if you saw Nancy without make-up you might turn into one.

Disneyland COVID Gulags are China’s Annual Halloween Tradition

Videos showed people rushing to the park’s gates, which were already locked.

October 31, 2022 by Daniel Greenfield

Remember this from last year?

Thousands were gathered Sunday for Shanghai Disneyland’s Halloween party when suddenly the gates closed and health-care workers fully dressed in white protective suits descended on the site. It was like a scene out of a scary movie, but these people weren’t in costume.

On Sunday, Shanghai Disneyland, a theme park partially owned by entertainment giant Disney, promised customers that they were in for “wicked Halloween surprises.” Safe to say that no one expected the biggest shock of the day to be medical staff in hazmat suits conducting mass tests for COVID-19, with tens of thousands of visitors being unable to leave.

Now it happened again.

Shanghai’s Disney Resort abruptly suspended operations on Monday to comply with Covid-19 prevention measures, with all visitors at the time of the announcement directed to stay in the park until they return a negative test for the virus.

The Shanghai government said on its official WeChat account the park was barring people from entering or exiting and that all visitors inside the site would need to await the results of their tests before they could leave.

Anyone who had visited the park since Oct. 27 would need to test for Covid-19 three times in three days, it said.

What is going on in China with regards to Covid?

True. I’m thinking of the Abdullah family, and how the grieving mother said, “I think I forgive him in my heart.”. He had, at that time, admitted to his crime.

This did not stop her wanting the law to punish the driver for his actions, which is a quite separate thing and objecting when his sentence was reduced on appeal.

As far as I am concerned, no one in government or “expertville” has admitted to destroying people’s lives and ruining their children’s education. Until they do, they can extend the olive branch to me. In my heart, I have already left them to the Almighty’s judgement, as I know precious little will reach them on earth.

https://theintercept.com/2022/10/31/social-media-disinformation-dhs/

THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY is quietly broadening its efforts to curb speech it considers dangerous, an investigation by The Intercept has found. Years of internal DHS memos, emails, and documents — obtained via leaks and an ongoing lawsuit, as well as public documents — illustrate an expansive effort by the agency to influence tech platforms.

“Platforms have got to get comfortable with gov’t. It’s really interesting how hesitant they remain,” Microsoft executive Matt Masterson, a former DHS official, texted Jen Easterly, a DHS director, in February.

Key Takeaways
Though DHS shuttered its controversial Disinformation Governance Board, a strategic document reveals the underlying work is ongoing.

DHS plans to target inaccurate information on “the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, racial justice, U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the nature of U.S. support to Ukraine.”

Facebook created a special portal for DHS and government partners to report disinformation directly.

Cockamamie Story

All the narratives spun by the Party of Chaos are falling apart now, but this final fiasco, a mere week before the midterm election, is a humdinger with a cherry-on-top.

It’s been several days since San Francisco police interrupted a hammer fight between Paul Pelosi — husband of House Speaker Nancy — and his “friend… David,” in the Pelosis’ Pacific Heights home, and apparently the cops have not asked David DePape why he was there in the first place. Odd, a little bit. Is it possible that a whole chain of authorities from the SFPD clear up into the top of the US government and its Democratic Party sidekicks don’t want you to know what actually happened?

So far, police have not disclosed how DePape journeyed from Berkeley to Pacific Heights at 2:00 o’clock in the morning, about fourteen miles. Did he walk from Berkeley across the Bay Bridge and then halfway across town? Mr. DePape is apparently also known to the police as a gay hustler, that is, a person who sells sex for money. Unless I’m mistaken, the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) has a detective department — experienced men and women who go around the city seeking clues, evidence, and testimony in order to make sense of perplexing crimes — and then solve them! Shall we assume they are on-the-job?

Now, Paul Pelosi, 82 – On May 28, 2022, he was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) in Napa (near a vineyard estate he owns with Nancy) when his 2021 Porsche crashed into a 2014 Jeep driven by one “John Doe” (as the police identified him). KGO-TV, ABC’s affiliate in the San Francisco area, said that there was a second person in the Porsche with Pelosi at the time of the accident. He has never been identified.

If David DePape didn’t walk fourteen miles from Berkeley to Pacific Heights, or take a cab (expensive), how did he get there? Here’s a theory: he rode the BART subway from Berkeley to the Church Street and Mission station in the city, a five-minute walk to the Castro, San Francisco’s fabled gay district. Sometime before 2:00 a.m. closing time, he met up in a bar there with Paul Pelosi, who drove DePape to the Pelosi house in a car not equipped with an interlock device. That is to say, David DePape was let into the house by Mr. Pelosi.

The police and the news media have theorized that DePape broke into the place by smashing a glass door in back. Uh-huh…. Ask yourself: would there not be an alarm system at least on all the ground floor windows and doors in the house? Would there not be security cameras on the back side of the house — the side that burglars might prefer, if they could get over the wall? Would the Speaker of the House, with a discretionary budget on top of a $300-million fortune, and in a time of epic political rancor, not have a team of security guards in place at her private home?

Initial news media chatter had both DePape and Paul Pelosi dressed in their underwear, struggling over a hammer which turned out to belong to Mr. Pelosi. Not until the police entered the house did DePape wrest the hammer from Mr. Pelosi and commence to brain him with it. What does the arrest report actually say about the two men’s state-of-dress? It is not public information. How and why were the police just watching until DePape assaulted Mr. Pelosi — who was hospitalized afterward and had surgery on his cracked skull? (Uh, how did a blow that literally broke his skull not kill the elderly Mr. Pelosi?)

The news media initially suggested that somebody — a third person on the scene — opened the door to let the police in. Now they are saying no such person was there. Was the front door unlocked? (Weird, considering the general threat level for a public figure of Nancy P’s stature.) Or, did police break the glass door in the rear of the house to get in? (However, photos of the door show the glass being broken from the inside and shards spread over the outside.) Odd, also, that such a wealthy and powerful couple would not have hard-to-smash security glass on such a door. (It’s easy to buy.) Odd, too, that there was not one human security guard on the premises. The house had security cameras all over the exterior and interior. No mention in the news media or from the SFPD of what might have been recorded by these cameras at the time of the incident.

My assessment of this bizarre episode as follows:

Paul Pelosi was out drinking late the night of the incident. He hooked up with David DePape, a hustler he might have been previously acquainted with, and took him back to the house in Pacific Heights. Something went wrong with the transaction. Considering that DePape exhibited psychotic behavior at times, it might have taken little to set him off. All the authorities involved are playing it coy, but failing to construct a narrative that adds up.

The Democratic Party has attempted to convert the sordid incident into a political talking point, painting DePape as a MAGA crazy. That spin apparently failed almost instantly. Their next effort will be to shove the story down the memory hole — the news media will just not report on any developments.

Sometimes people post “without comment”. Does that mean they agree with what’s posted or are they inviting comments?

They want to add that content to the conversation, which is, yes, a kind of endorsement.

If they commented “look at this rubbish lol” as they posted it then the context changes of course, but someone like OldOzzie posts his links because he wants to influence the narrative.

Either they broke a window to get in, or the door was opened for them.

Since the broken glass was on the outside whoever it was who broke the window wasn’t getting in.

Aerial photos of the Pelosi property appeared to show shards of broken glass littering the brick walkway outside a shattered French door, as if it had been broken from the inside out. San Francisco police declined to comment.

The police need to get their story straight.

Either they broke a window to get in, or the door was opened for them. It might have been both. I can imagine a circumstance where breaking glass is heard and the police are on the other side, then a sprint to open the door for them.

My theory is that there was a dispute over payment for home services and the client requested the service provider to leave. Client opened door for him to go but he refused and things got a bit wobbly. Client called police then realized that he had to make it look like a break-in so in alcohol haze took a hammer and smashed back door to make it look like a break-in cutting his arm in process. Police arrive and service provider gets doubly angry as he realizes that he will be up for breaking and entry and pulls hammer from client and belts him with it.

Oldozzie, here’s a good article re China and wuflu. The author thinks that Xi is committed to retaining absolute power and is prepared for China to suffer economic damage in the process. He thinks that as long as other economies suffer as well Xi is happy. Of course like all socialists the human cost isn’t a consideration.

Thanks sfw for that article,

I still grapple to get my head around the fact How Xi sacrificed China’s future in pursuit of total power, the world’s strictest lockdown has destroyed both lives and livelihoods – and there is no guarantee it won’t come back. But its architect has just become China’s most powerful ruler since chairman Mao.

I suppose the same symptoms have been displayed here in Australia, by Megalomaniac Dan Andrews and his total shutdown of Victoria and with his releasing his Stasi Vic Police Force to brutalise ordinary Victorians

A man wakes up in the hospital, bandaged from head to foot. The doctor comes in and says “Ah, I see you’ve regained consciousness. Now, you probably won’t remember, but you were in a pile-up on the freeway. You’re going to be okay, you’ll walk again and everything, but… something happened. I’m trying to break this gently, but the fact is, your willy was chopped off in the wreck and we were unable to find it”.

The man groans, but the doctor goes on “You’ve got $9,000 in insurance compensation coming and we have the technology now to build you a new willy that will work as well as your old one did; better in fact! But the thing is, it doesn’t come cheap. It’s $1,000 an inch”.

The man perks up at this. “So” the doctor says “it’s for you to decide how many inches you want. But it’s something you’d better discuss with your wife. I mean, if you had a five inch one before, and you decide to go for a nine incher, she might be a bit put out. But if you had a nine inch one before, and you decide only to invest in a five incher this time, she might be disappointed. So, it’s important that she plays a role in helping you make the decision”.

The man agrees to talk with his wife. The doctor comes back the next day. “So” says the doctor “have you spoken with your wife?” “I have” says the man. “And has she helped you in making the decision?” “Yes, she has” says the man. “And what is it?” asks the doctor. “We’re getting granite counter tops”.

A lot depends on how much time I have, usually not much. I’m not afraid of another point of view, one that challenges my own thinking. A lot of what’s written is rubbish, some of it I can’t possibly know the answer to. No need to accept it, just be wary of some of the claims.

What I do know is that authoritarians only like their interpretation of events to the exclusion of all others, and will ridicule anyone who thinks differently. “The truth invites questions, a lie hates to be challenged”.

Reflections on Robert Spencer’s ‘Who Lost Afghanistan?’
“Saigon-on-steroids.”

My Afghan “granddaughter” was on a flight out after many days of hell in the surging crowds when the human homicide bomber, Abdul Rahman Al-Logari, whom the Taliban had just let out of jail, blew up thirteen American Marines, and countless Afghan civilians. Meena saw the whole thing from her airplane window.

How could America’s departure from Afghanistan have been so mismanaged? Robert Spencer, in his new and important book, Who Lost Afghanistan?, describes it as “Saigon-on-steroids,” a “nightmare that a horrified world witnessed.”

Spencer reminds us that President Biden promised that “we will not conduct a hasty rush to the exit. We’ll do it responsibly, deliberately, and safely. And we will do it in full coordination with our allies and partners.”

Spencer’s book takes us back to 1998, to bin Laden’s statement entitled “Jihad Against Jews and Crusaders,” and to 9/11, after which President Bush appeared with two trusted Muslim advisors, including Nihad Awad, the co-founder of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, and Abdurrahman Alamoudi, who is now in prison for financing Al-Qaeda. There they stood, together with Bush, while the President claimed that “these acts of violence against innocents violate the fundamental tenets of the Islamic faith….The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam…Islam is peace.”

True, President Bush also sometimes described Islam as “Islamo-fascism” and referred to “radical Islamic fundamentalists.”

But President Obama “extended and deepened (such) false claims about Islam. Obama said: “Not only were Islam and Western principles compatible in Afghanistan, but Islam was a core part of American society, which had enriched American society from the very beginning of the nation.”

Obama did not think we could ever defeat the Taliban (he was right)—and so he wanted to negotiate with them, manage them. His Vice-President, Joe Biden, is on record as having said: “Look, the Taliban per se is not our enemy.”

This controversy about the nature of Islam has been raging for a long time among the intelligentsia, governments, international bodies, armed forces, the media, and academia. Some ex-Muslims do not believe that Islam can be reformed. They—my very good friend, Ibn Warraq, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Nonie Darwish, Yasmine Mohammed —would be killed for having left Islam; Taslima Nasreen was mobbed and forced to live in exile as a dissident, Salman Rushdie had to live with police protection for many years and was recently nearly assassinated for having criticized Islam.

Muslim reformers such as Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, Soraya Deen, Raheel Raza, Asra Nomani, Aliya Abbas, and my dear friend, Imam Seyran Ates, all believe that Islam can and must be reformed and that they are committed to helping Islam evolve, and become more democratic, enlightened, and women-friendly.

However, as has been said many times: While not all Muslims are Jihadist terrorists, all Jihadist terrorists are Muslims.

Therefore, in addition to Spencer’s latest work, I strongly recommend Cynthia Farahat’s brave, new book, The Secret Apparatus: The Muslim Brotherhood’s Industry of Death. Most civilians have no idea how well organized, how dangerous, and how powerful this century-old Brotherhood is.

Police on patrol in the multicultural city of Malmo caught and arrested five youths, four of them minors, as the mob was r@ping a woman in a public park.

The police were out on patrol on Saturday evening at around 11 pm when they came across a group of five youths in the Kungsparken in central Malmo who appeared to be s3xually abusing and r@ping a woman, in what has been termed as aggravated rape.

“The police were there on a routine patrol and then meet these people who are behaving in an abnormal way and then interrupted this crime,” police officer Sara Andersson told the newspaper Expressen.

Four of the youths were arrested at the scene and the fifth was caught and taken into custody a short time later.

“We will hear from the people concerned and are now conducting a series of technical analyses to go through the course of events,” local prosecutor Kristina Amilon said, while a lawyer for the fifth accused man stated he denied any wrongdoing.

The investigation concerns facts of “aggravated violence in reunion committed with a weapon by destination”. For these facts, the father faces three to ten years in prison depending on the number of aggravating circumstances retained by justice. If there is one thing my experience over the last 2 years has shown me, its that the daughter WILL appreciate the actions of the father, and thats all that matters. He is likely sacrificing his own freedom for the mental health of the daughter – she HAS to know that good people will go after bad people that try to hurt her. Sadly, increasingly, we cannot rely on the state for that.
