Dotbaiting..

ABCcess had an “ expert” on holiday romances and why the normal timelines of a relationship get “compressed”
It was basically a chick justifying throwing the hairy lasso around at the triple dong cock ranch as soon as she’s free from judgement from people she knows.

This chick is being paid 5 figures a year to be a rationalisation hamster.

Also while removing a bungara from the medical centre last week ( the door was left open and he wandered in) I discovered 4 things.
They are fast
Their claws are like knives.
They are really really bad at being herded out. ( I had to catch and remove)
They have 2 dicks…

Bangarra story.

A huge fat one was living peacefully under the food scraps bin at a mining camp near Laverton WA. He used to just lie there and eye people walking past, absolutely no fear of humans (if gold miners can be called humans).
One night after a session in the wet mess, some drunken gronk decided it would be fun to drag ol’ bungarra out of his spot by the tail. “Fat & lazy” lizard struck like lightning, a couple of pints of blood sprayed around and some forty stitches later, peace was restored.

Nobody ever interfered with the beast again. Respect.

2024 Presidential Election Odds

“Shortly after the inauguration, Vice President Kamala Harris was atop the presidential odds board at +350, with Biden close behind at +400, and Trump in third place at +650. Those odds have shifted massively, and Trump is now alone at the top of the board as 2024 U.S. presidential election favorite at +300 (implied probability = 25.00%) with DeSantis trailing slightly behind him. Biden has now dropped to third place at +500 (16.69%), which is shorter than it was a month ago, while Harris has plummeted all the way to fourth place at +1,200 (7.69%). Other presidential betting favorites for 2024 include governor of California Gavin Newsom (+1,400, 6.67%) Trump’s VP Mike Pence (+1,800, 5.26%), Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg (+2,500, 3.85%), and former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley (+2,800, 3.45%).”

“The biggest riser on the presidential election odds board is DeSantis, who was +6,600 (1.49%) a year ago, +550 (15.38%) at the start of July, and is now at +330 (25.00%). The 43-year-old remains coy about whether he will run for president but has become a Republican firebrand figure for his laissez-faire policies during the COVID-19 pandemic and his enactment of the Stop WOKE Act.”

Half of Twitter’s employees became unemployed 2 hours ago.

In response to the crushing, sudden layoff of half the Twitter staff, employees have filed a massive class action lawsuit claiming Musk’s draconian layoffs are in violation of California and federal law, which prevent mass layoffs without 60 days notice.

Fired Twitter workers are asking the federal court to issue order requiring a more orderly & compassionate approach under the Worker Adjustment & Retraining Act. Meantime, Musk has unleashed a ruthless campaign to cut billions on bloated infrastructure, cutting employee laptops.

Sympathy level – nil

I don’t have sympathy for people who have censored Republicans, helped destroy our country by pushing COVID lockdowns, hid news stories that didn’t fit their narrative and supported firing people if they didn’t get the vaccine. They earned every bit of this. #TwitterLayoffs

They claim the law says they should have gotten 60 days notice. Musk should hand them 2 months severance pay and tell them to bugger off.

Down $55 on the day to $121.
That’s 30% today.

By Friday morning, Twitter employees from departments including ethical AI, marketing and communication, search, public policy, wellness and other teams had tweeted about having been let go. Members of the curation team, which help elevate reliable information on the platform, including about elections, were also laid off, according to employee posts.

Don’t know if this has already been linked to but the capture of major companies is complete. It seems that almost all political parties, gov depts and big companies have come under the control of an elite that believes in and want the same things. I cannot see how this can be undone in the short to medium term, if ever. They all attend the same schools, mix with the same people and have the same thoughts.

Just on the projected GOP wins in the house and senate, it’ll all mean nothing unless a GOP controlled congress gets down and dirty when fighting the Demonrats.

In 2017 and 2018 the GOP had control of both the house and senate and did nothing. When in control the GOP, particularly with RINOs such as Bitch McConnell as leaders, had zero interest in fighting the left because they much preferred demonising, fighting and bringing down their own in order to protect their positions. So unless something radically changes next Tuesday, the funding of the war in Ukraine will continue unabated, big tech platforms will continue to run amok and basically, nothing will change.

WASHINGTON, DC — As the date of next week’s midterm elections approaches, President Joe Biden used his Wednesday night address to warn everyone that the results may not immediately be known because it may take several days for enough Democrat votes to be harvested and double-counted.

“Despite the fact that third-world countries around the globe are capable of tallying their votes on the same day as their elections, it’s simply not realistic to expect that from the world’s most technologically advanced nation,” Biden shouted with an unnecessary amount of anger to the assembled crowd made up entirely of White House staffers and the media. “Folks, we’ve got to take our time, find out how far behind we are, and wait for the unmarked vans carrying bags full of ballots to arrive in the middle of the night. Then we gotta find out how many times we have to count each ballot. Tomato soup.”

I’m going to put it out there; I don’t think Dan is going to do as well as the polls indicate. There is some serious venom out there towards him on all manner of fronts from energy, to netball, to traffic violations, to health. I sense a small awakening, and not just from Facebook.

I know the opposition isn’t, I know they are invisible and I know what the polls are saying. But, I have such loathing towards any element of our political system and public authoritative figures ATM, I just hang up on such calls. I dare say I’m not alone, and I can’t see how the polls are representative of anything except the group who continue to get wet and gooey in the fork, over Dan.

I think there will be mongrel in a GOP Congress than 2017-18. Not as much as you might expect. There will no doubt be a number who, once ensconced in their seats will think of nothing except staying there – whether by following the path of least resistance or trying to carve out a special niche as someone holding their party to account.

Last time around congress was made up of the usual crowd with a few who leapt in the Trump Train but many not.

This time the RINOs are not just seat warmers but the undisputed enemy. Resentment over the debacle of the last election, complicity of RINOs, and Biden’s and the Democrats appalling agenda means the voters more than before demand fighters.

And Trump is their compass needle. He was pugnacious enough before, but I think a lot of people see his defiance and refusal to quit inspiring. It embodies something Americans like to see in themselves.

I am sooooooooooo tired of right of centre parties that, when given enormous mandates by voters, proceed to do sweet fuck all with the mandates and actively spit in the faces of those votes that gave them the enormous mandates….think Blob Johnson in 2019 and Abbott in 2013. I just hope that the GOP, if given a mandate next Tuesday, actually use it against their ideological enemies, the way the left use their power against us. The CFMEU are backing “our prick” Dan (or the HQ are at least), because he’s promised to build more hospitals, etc and keep them farting through silk.

What Dan doesn’t seem to comprehend is that even Victorian nurses are looking quizzically at each other and wondering how he’s going to staff these potential white elephants, when he can’t staff the current ones.

Naming hospitals them after such Labor luminaries (and saviours) as Joan Kirner, doesn’t magically make them function, nor does it inexplicably resolve the self-inflicted crisis he’s wrought on the health system.

When you’ve even got the nurses questioning a Leftist government, you’ve got the winds of change in the air.

Democrats Worried Republicans May Take Lead Beyond Margin Of Cheating

As Republicans continue to expand their leads in polling across the country, Democrats are worried that the leads may soon grow beyond the normal margin of Democrat cheating.

“Yeah, normally our big-city vote harvesting machines and slimy election procedures are good for a bump of a few percentage points, but Republican poll numbers may have even grown beyond that,” said a visibly nervous DNC Chair Jaime Harrison, (they/them). “I don’t understand why people care more about feeding their kids than they do about voting in literal mega-MAGA, far-right, Nazi, alt-right, white supremacist, Nazi, fascist-adjacent Nazis. It could be the end of democracy!”

Covid-19: How the Greatest Crime in History Unfolded

Dr. Vernon Coleman

I reported in July 2020 that the UK Government had agreed to buy 190 million doses of vaccine for a population less than a third of that. I predicted that vaccine company shares would soar.

The rules that were introduced were unutterably stupid, incomprehensible and indefensible. The entire world appeared to be run by people who were at least one sandwich and a bottle of fizzy pop short of a picnic. You could go into a pub but not a bowling alley. You could have your hair permed and your nails varnished but physiotherapy departments were still closed. The idea was to keep people confused, miserable and damned near suicidal and it all worked brilliantly well.

Researchers then claimed that a skin rash was another sign of covid-19. Apparently 8.8% of patients with a positive covid-19 test also have a rash. No one in government realised that the rashes were probably caused by the damned sanitiser fluid that everyone was being forced to use in absurd quantities.

We were, I wrote two and a half years ago, living in a manufactured nightmare.

Elon Musk’s Twitter layoffs leave whole teams gutted

The areas of Twitter impacted the most by Musk’s cuts include its product trust and safety, policy, communications, tweet curation, ethical AI, data science, research, machine learning, social good, accessibility, and even certain core engineering teams, according to tweets by laid-off employees and people familiar with the matter. More company leaders, including Arnaud Weber, VP of consumer product engineering, and Tony Haile, a senior director of product overseeing Twitter’s work with news publishers, have also been laid off following Musk’s firings of Twitter’s senior leadership last week.

The Australian has a piece on Vic polling.

“after a drop in support for Victorian Labor three weeks from the state election has put up to 10 government seats at risk.”

Here’s my take, Labor goes into minority government and then forms a coalition with the Greens. What ensues? Disaster, absolute disaster. If things are bad in Victoria now, just wait for that calamitous coalition.

Mmmmm:

Labor’s bid for a third term in government has suffered a horror first week after revelations Premier Daniel Andrews has been questioned in a fresh corruption probe.

With just 10 days before the polls open, Mr Andrews is facing questions over his involvement in government grants provided to the Health Workers Union on the eve of the 2018 election.

The Herald Sun first revealed on Thursday the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission was investigating a $1.2m grant provided to the union in October 2018. It is the fourth corruption probe Mr Andrews has been linked to.

In the latest investigation IBAC is probing funding awarded to the HWU on the eve of the 2018 election, and just a week after a program grant was first announced.

It formed part of a multimillion-dollar package for the training of hospital staff against occupational violence that was announced a week before the government went into caretaker mode.

Mr Andrews refused to answer questions about the probe on Friday.

No, he was standing next to a smirking “Cath” and he just shuts down any discussion, just like he did with the hotel quarantine disaster, just like he did with Red Shirts, just like he did with Slug Gate. But the man had a lot to say about Cardinal Pell, about Andrew Thorburn and so on. It’s amazing, he gets away with hit. One thing is clear, Daniel Andrews does not have a conscience. Last night saw a Tweet about SES Qld being asked to help with volunteers to send to NSW to assist with floods.

NSW only wanted those who could prove triple jabbed. However Qld never had a Vax mandate for RFS and SES so would have plenty of fit and healthy volunteers who can’t be deployed.

Qld Lifesaving was similar. Qld came within 2 weeks of getting rid of unvaxxed but stopped. NSW did enforce the mandate so had qualified guys who could not help during floods and presumably in the future.

VIC is same.

So they are happy to enforce mandates that mean they have less volunteers in times of disasters.

I would guess most who have got a triple jab did so over 6 months ago. So are they now still counted as vaxxed due to waning. Please note I am not endorsing the booster at all just highlighting the idiocy of the policy.

I wonder if Qld SES picked up on the recent review into Emergency Services. It recommended SES come under police command. That would be the only state police who are requiring over 50’s to take 4th jab or lose their jobs. All under 50 have to be triple jabbed. Should be great for volunteer retention.

Police keep watch on returned low-risk ISIS brides

exclusive
Ellen Whinnett
ASSOCIATE EDITOR
@ellenwhinnett
11:09PM November 4, 2022

Four former brides of Islamic State brought back to Australia a week ago are under police surveillance, were deemed low-risk by ASIO, and have signed legally enforceable agreements to co-operate with authorities.

Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil said she decided to repatriate the women and their 13 children from the secure detention camps in Syria only after they underwent “individual, detailed’’ security assessments.

In her first detailed comments about the families’ repatriation, Ms O’Neil revealed it had been determined it was safer for the children to be raised in Australia, with Australian values, than languish for years in camps where they would come under further influence from ISIS.

She said the children would have retained their right to gain an Australian passport and to enter Australia in the future.

And she indicated she was taking a hardline national security approach to the repatriations, saying her “one concern’’ was for Australian security, and indicating not all the women in the camps would be repatriated.

Independent MP Dai Le says an “open dialogue” from the government about the repatriation of Islamic… State-linked families to Australia would have been fruitful and “alleviated fears”. Four women and their 13 children, who had been living inside the al-Roj Syrian camp since the fall of IS in More

“In some instances – not in all – it will be in the national security interests of our country for women and children to be returned to Australia. These are tough decisions, they are the right ones for our country’s long-term security,’’ she said.

“Some people will find the humanitarian arguments here compelling. As Home Affairs Minister, I have one concern and that is the domestic security of our country.’’

Her comments came after a week of controversy in which Opposition Leader Peter Dutton and home affairs spokeswoman Karen Andrews continued to warn that the repatriation of the group of 17 women and children posed a dangerous threat to Australia and should not have occurred.

The Coalition, when Mr Dutton was home affairs minister, repatriated two family groups from Syria in 2019, the majority of them orphans, but refused to bring back others over the next three years, despite pleas from national security experts and senior American defence and diplomatic officials, who feared a looming security crisis if women and their children were left in Syria indefinitely.

“The former government chose to bury its head in the sand and pretend that this problem could be safely ignored. It cannot,’’ Ms O’Neil said.

“The children at the heart of this matter are and will remain Australians. There is nothing legally to be done to change that. They will have a permanent right to obtain an Australian passport and re-enter our country.

“The question is whether it is safer for these children to grow up in a squalid camp, without education and health, where violent radical ideology is a part of their daily lives. Or, whether it is safer for them to grow up here, around Australian values.

“Pretending these children don’t exist, and leaving it for the next generation to have to deal with the consequences, is shortsighted and irresponsible.’’

The Weekend Australian has independently confirmed the four women who arrived in Australia last Saturday are being monitored by the Joint Counter Terrorism Taskforce, comprising NSW and Australian Federal Police.

They were designated “low-risk’’ by ASIO, in an assessment made after each woman was interviewed multiple times by intelligence agents in the camps in Syria. They were also deemed the most vulnerable of the group in the camp.

Each woman’s extended family, her acquaintances, her social media footprint, and her past communications were examined.

The women each signed enforceable undertakings while in secure hotel accommodation last weekend, guaranteeing they would take part in NSW’s countering violent extremism programs, and co-operate with authorities.

And police, justice and child welfare officials have been visiting the women’s homes in suburban Sydney in the week since they arrived.

Work is also under way that appears to indicate a court order of some sort, possibly a supervision order, may be sought in the NSW Supreme Court. The women are not expected to be charged with any offence relating to their time in Syria. A terrorism control order is also a possibility, although seems unlikely.

Ms O’Neil refused to comment on any potential legal action that could be taken against the women.

The minister hit out at the “hypocrisy’’ from the opposition, saying repatriation decisions were “serious, significant decisions that our government makes calmly, thoughtfully and methodically, and in the national interest.

“Peter Dutton repatriated citizens three years ago, yet today opposes the exact same decisions. People are sick of this kind of politics,’’ she said.

From Senegal to NYC: the latest sign of Biden’s open-borders insanity

By Post Editorial Board

News that the first big wave of guests at Mayor Eric Adams’ “Tentz-Carlton” are from Senegal exposes the utter madness of President Joe Biden’s open-border policy: As word spreads, “asylum seekers” from across the globe will keep on coming, until this president, or his successor, finally bends.

We noted weeks ago that the mix of illegal migrants had grown beyond the waves from Mexico and the Northern Triangle nations. More than 730,000 migrants last fiscal year alone from the rest of the world crossed our border. While Biden has (until Election Day, anyway) shut the doors to Venezuelans, that leaves scores of nations where heading to America seems like an excellent idea.

And the idea that legitimate claims for asylum have a thing to do with it is a complete joke. All these 110-plus Senegalese, per the imam who’d hosted them, “came across the southern border,” leaving home in West Africa after they “heard the border was open.” More: “Any time I ask them, all they are talking about is, ‘Border is open,’ ‘Border is open.’ ”

So the Biden effort to address “root causes” in the Northern Triangle has zero chance to dent the tide, ever.

The mass migrations have vanishingly little to do with the “root causes” of political instability and violence in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador that Biden & Co. harp on about. Most of them, understandably enough, just want a better life in the greatest nation in the world — and are delighted that our president gave the OK for them to jump the line ahead of everyone seeking legal immigration.

As one of the new New Yorkers from Senegal happily put it, “We can stay as long as we want.”

It’s another reason Nov. 8 is sure to bring a “red wave” and Republican control of Congress, followed by hearings and likely new laws to stop the madness at borders Team Biden keeps insisting are “secure.”

I didn’t respond to their offer to read the meter mahself, so the following Bill was on the high side, but they musta done a reading since, because the last one was the lowest in 30 years.

NSW did enforce the mandate so had qualified guys who could not help during floods and presumably in the future.

Hopefully all of those who were ‘let go’ for exercising their rights to bodily integrity will say ‘nup’ when graciously invited to return (mistakes were made on both sides right?).

SA never had a vax mandate for the CFS volunteers although they did for paid staff. A friend of mine lost his post as an Air attack supervisor (they control the firebombers from above) due to being unvaxxed – the CFS subsequently had to close their main Adelaide Hills Airbase and quarantine the staff after a (fully vaxxed) person brought covid onto the base.

I did, however, get told by a CFS Regional Commander that I posed a ‘reputational risk that needed to be managed’ due to my protest activity. I told him he could shove it, after more than 20 years, and walked out of the station that day, forever.

One might think that her strategy will be to give the impression that she is de-radicalised; wear western clothing, condemn FGM, join the CWA, etc.

Odds are they’ll be resetttled in one of their ethnic enclaves due to “social support.”

The burkas they were photographed wearing alighting from the plane weren’t just for privacy.

Did these former Protectors of the Midterm Elections go through
some sort of Congressional confirmation process?

They trooped down the gangplank in full Purdah, so assuming there was a woman underneath is a big ask,

I’m guessing this was a deliberate tactic to avoid any head shots getting into the public arena ……

.

If that was the case, then they coulda disembarked them securely.
The full Purdah was to rub the public’s noses in it, but we’ve still got no idea who or what was inside the black sacks.

Listening to the weekly Taibbi, Kirn podcast.
They’re talking about how all House Committee work was boxed up weeks ago.
But the Senate Committees are for the most part continuing.
Most committee work isn’t the public hearings, it’s the behind the scenes work.
That would say the DNC is still holding out hope re the Senate.

If they wrote an article where someone won the lotto and showed the numbers, I would be out the door and up to the newsagent toot sweet.

According to a gambling site, a punter has 50k on:
Race 6 Nature Stip;
Race 7 Private Eye;
Race 8 Anamoe
To all win, all shortish favourites at 10 bucks.
Some people don’t respect money.

Flemington’s new irrigation system is the world’s best.

100%.
Randwick looks on with envy.

Probably the drainage system, not the irrigation. My understanding is that Randwick has always had a problem with perched water on sand.

That’s why they’ve ripped the thing up and tinkered with it 3 times in the last 20 years.
Still can’t get it right.

And that concrete wall certainly came in handy.

“Protecting” is the word you use when “influencing” might give too much away.

In my view they need a massive system of wick drains. Cost the earth, but there it is.

Not really, they (gummint)_ knew the media would be waiting and the howling commence if they off-loaded out of the ordinary .. so they stage-managed to appear as if they were being treated like any other arrivals .. tho the chartered flight and additional security might have been a give-away ..!

Elliptical might be worth some thought. Craig Williams to ride and 51kg. Three year olds are not supposed to beat outstanding older horses but he got Giga Kick home in the Everest. The race now seems to be called the TAB Champions Stakes. May as well just have poker machine racing.
