Sancho – I don’t dispute that Mulkearns was rotten. Nor that AB Little was “asleep at the wheel.”

We know lots went to the cops regarding many institutions who also did nothing.

I think, like a “social disease” like drug or alcohol abuse, most institutions (if not all) did their best to fix it by moving the creeps, get rid of it, cover it up, just not talk about it and try to forget about it.

Belarus Drafts Every Male 18 to 60 for the Inevitable War

This is very disturbing if true !!!!

From Armstrong Economics –

“Belarus has issued a Draft for all men 18 to 60 years old. This war that our leaders are determined to create is going to be beyond anything previously contemplated. Even the US will most likely adopt a draft and it will be highly probably will be to at least age 45 but perhaps even higher.

The Ukrainian people are FOOLS! Zelensky has been paid off to sacrifice his entire country. He is the modern-day Judas betraying his own people for a handful of silver. The West wants this war and they are using the Ukrainian people as cannon fodder to weaken Russia before they make their invasion to seek justice and retribution for Ukraine. There was a Donbas Referendum of 1994, in which the whole world turned a blind eye to those people who have been denied basic human rights because they are ethnically Russian. This is a premeditated war that they need to collapse the monetary system and get to create Bretton Woods II with digital currencies and sovereign debt will all simply evaporate.

Welcome to the real world that these people are openly trying to create where they solidify their authoritarian control and the end of any right to vote.”

The whole Gerbil Worming crapola is nothing to do with Klimate or CO2, and everything to do with political control.

True somewhat, but if say there’s some catch up technology in further upgrading super-critical coal fired stations, they won;t be able to stop the use globally. Once a few adopt it then it becomes irresistible to the rest.

High Efficiency/Low Emissions (HELE) technology already offers this, and is in use, IIRC, in Japan. Claimed emissions reductions (if such really matter) are around 30 to 35%. The Klimate Kultists oppose it whenever it is mentioned.

Some years ago, a Klimate Kultist, when asked what his position would be if a source of cheap, emissions-free, electricity was invented, described it as equivalent to giving loaded machine guns to children. The Klimate Kult does not want emissions-free electricity, it wants much less electricity.

The story was that the SU was going nowhere in the Twenties and Wall Street offered to industrialise the Country, which had been in the doldrums since the Bolsheviks had murdered everyone with a brain.

The price was issuing of shares and the Deed to Crimea, which Stalin agreed to.
Fast forward to Operation Barbarossa, Wall Street lent on FDR to invoke LendLease, which involved letting the Soviets have whatever they wanted from America’s factories.
That was a success, and coupled with Stalin deporting the Tatars from Crimea, Wall Street was expecting Stalin to meet his part of the bargain.

However, the wily Georgian had no intention of giving away Crimea, so Wall Street declared the Cold War thru it’s stooge Winston Churchill.
Stalin then started what looks now like persecutions, Molotov’s wife was sent to the Gulag, that ended when Stalin was [probably] poisoned in 1953.

Anyway, Wall Street still expected to get what they paid for, but Krushchev stymied them by transferring Crimea to the Ukraine SSR in 1954.

So, why Putin retook Crimea is anyone’s guess, but it looks like Wall Street is going to get it by military means now.

War has a way of sorting these out. The Russians now have had the opportunity to use up about to be timex ammo, crank up the production lines (if they ever truly shut down) for more, good data on the performance of their weapons and organisational systems against a near peer adversary, partly armed with western weapons and officers and men who have experience of being shot at. Along with captured western weaponry. I won’t bet that the lessons won’t be swiftly incorporated.

Interesting to see that the Reform party has been reconvened and intends to field candidates in every seat at the next UK election, targeting the Tories. With 8% support according to polls, they won’t win a seat, but they’re providing an opportunity for Conservative voters to register a protest.

The Putinistas always forget that part.

You are supporting a fetid western abortion dotty. Ukraine , until the 2014 coup , was a shithole of corruption and thuggery. A sewer where the Biden’s and Nuland et al wallowed in corruption and graft. Ukes are Nazi worhshippers whose Jew killing hero Stepan Bandera was given official state honors. Ukraine has been murdering it’s own citizens for near a decade. in it’s efforts to cleanse Ukraine of Russian ethnics. Now suddenly, Ukraine is holier than the Vatican? A pristine land of only victims in white hats. GMAFB. You really should stop promoting your BS by painting Ukes as victims. It’s stupid. You are buying into the MSM propaganda hook line and sinker. Ukraine (plus NATO) courted this Russian action and they were successful. That is what has happened.

No one yet knows the outcome of this war. What we do know is that every western leader is using it is as a bs excuse for the inflation they have created with their ineptitude and ridiculous policies. Ruinous. We know that untold billions are being fed into Ukraine ending up in many different corrupt accounts. Perfect CIA rivers of dark money. Perfect cover for the Bidens. We know that the stupid naive effeminate LGBTQI+ obsessed west has created the perfect conditions for Russia and China + Saudi and others to become much more closely aligned and collaborative at the expense of the west- a major geopolitical blunder.

So, maybe you shouldn’t forget that part , while you grovel to kiss US /NATO/UK arse.

Sorry if already spoken of. The Hun:

Former prime minister Tony Abbott has accused social media giants of trying to “censor” the case against an Aboriginal Voice to Parliament after Facebook pulled ads urging people to vote “no” in the upcoming referendum because it would give “special rights” to one group of people based on their race.

The ads, which were paid for by conservative lobby group Advance Australia, urged people to oppose a “yes” vote in the referendum because if successful, “we’ll have one race of people with special rights handed to them”.

However, Advance Australia chief Matthew Sheahan said that Facebook’s decision to pull the ads on the basis of “misinformation” – because a fact check by the RMIT FactLab relied on by Facebook said that “the claim that the voice will provide ‘special rights’ … has been rejected by leading constitutional experts” – was incorrect.

Mr Abbott said that Big Tech was joining with the government in trying to force the voice through without a debate.

“The government is hoping to push this through on the ‘vibe’, relying on people’s good will and reluctance to be thought ungenerous to Aboriginal people,” Mr Abbott said.

“But it’s doing its best to slant the playing field against the ‘no’ case by not funding either side, by giving tax deductible status to the ‘yes’ case only, and now by relying on woke public companies to push the ‘yes’ case while relying on Big Tech to censor the ‘no’ case.”

“The fact that voice supporters are already engaging in censorship is yet another reason to be deeply suspicious of making this a forever body by enshrining it in the constitution,” he said.

The accusations come as social media giants come under increasing scrutiny for their role in the 2020 US presidential election.

Last year Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted that his company restricted a story about Hunter Biden’s laptop that contained damaging allegations of corruption against the Biden family in the weeks before the vote.

Mr Sheahan said that the fact checkers had gotten it wrong in this case.

“The activists behind this should check their own biases before masquerading as impartial fact checkers,” he said.

“Why aren’t they fact checking the blatant lie that Indigenous Australians have no voice and no say on matters than affected them, found in they ‘yes’ campaign’s first campaign ad?”

“The truth is you can’t fact check the voice because it has no detail … it is a blank cheque payable to future politicians who can make up the rules as they go along,” he said.

While Advance Australia said its ads have been censored, other pro-voice groups have run ads stating that a voice to parliament will mean that “First Nations people … can have a say” despite 11 members of the current parliament identifying as Aboriginal.

According to RMIT, “Leading legal and constitutional experts have rejected the claim that the proposed Voice to Parliament will provide “special rights” to one race of people.”

However other experts and commentators have disagreed and said that the voice could lead to special rights on the basis of race.

Chris Merritt, vice president of the Rule of Law Institute of Australia, said that if the voice passed, “it would send a permanent message that this country is no longer committed to equal rights for all.”

“Equal citizenship rights means we are all treated equally by the state and not singled out for special treatment, but that’s exactly what’s going to happen with the voice.”

Asked about their work on the issue, a spokesman for RMIT said that “the fact check still stands” despite differing views on the subject.

A spokesman for Meta, Facebook’s parent company, said: “Meta partners with independent fact checkers in Australia to help reduce the spread of misinformation online, and the fact checkers themselves decide which posts to review. We also reject ads that have been rated as false by fact checkers.”

RMIT independent fact checking. I think I may have seen some porcine flesh drifting through the air.

RMIT fact check is using some fairly dodgy ‘logic’.
https://www.rmit.edu.au/news/factlab-meta/the-proposed-indigenous-voice-to-parliament-will-not-confer–spe
Professor Anne Twomey, a member of the Constitutional Expert Group that provides the government with legal support on constitutional matters relating to the referendum, told RMIT FactLab that “the proposed constitutional amendment does not confer any special rights”.
Professor Twomey added: “It just requires the establishment of a body with the function of making representations to parliament.”
She said that any individual or organisation can make representations to parliament by way of petitions, which are tabled in parliament, or by making representations to their local member of parliament.
Bodies with collective interests, such as unions, community groups, charities and business organisations, can also make submissions to parliamentary committees to point out problems or propose changes to bills being debated in parliament, she said.
“People with similar interests often band together in groups in their hope that their collective voice will be more influential than their individual submissions,” she said. “The Voice would be one such group.”
Professor Twomey likened the Voice to other statutory bodies that can make representations to parliament through reports, reviews or recommendations, such as the Australian Law Reform Commission, the Australian Human Rights Commission and the Productivity Commission.
“The fact that the majority of people appointed to those bodies are lawyers and economists cannot be treated as giving members of those bodies ‘special rights’ and discriminating against doctors and plumbers,” she said.
The reason particular professionals dominate those bodies is due to their expertise and relevant experience, she said.
“The same can be said of a group of Indigenous Australians who have expertise and experience in how laws directed towards them are likely to affect them,” she said.
Professor Twomey said it was up to parliament to decide how the Voice would be composed and what its powers, procedures and other functions would be.

Im sorry miss Twomey, but do lawyers/doctors etc have a role for their representative bodies written into the constitution?
Assigning expertise in matters based solely on race, that seems a little … racist? Should we (to use the oldest stereotype) assign Jewish people special representation on money lending based on race?

The verdict
False. The proposed Voice to Parliament will not provide “special rights” to anyone, nor will it change or reduce the rights of non-Indigenous people, according to leading legal and constitutional experts. The proposed Voice provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with an opportunity to make representations to the parliament and the executive on matters that impact them.

OVER AND ABOVE THE ABILITY OF OTHER AUSTRALIANS.

All for a shithole no one ever cared about , like Ukraine?

Or, is something else afoot here? After all, we were treated to 2+ years of Covid lies, propaganda , conspiracy , outrageous debts and outright statist brutality by these grubs. Are you saying now you actually buy their pro-Ukraine bullshit?

Interesting op-ed piece in the WSJ

If Twitter is no longer acting as a federal censorship field office, why wouldn’t such a class action by social-media users be moot like an individual lawsuit against the company? Because of Facebook, Google and other internet companies. As Matt Taibbi reported, “the government was in constant contact not just with Twitter, but with every major tech firm.” There’s no reason to think that has stopped. A class action against federal defendants would seek to halt all government efforts to use social-media companies to achieve the censorship the Constitution forbids.

The attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana have already jointly brought a similar lawsuit, and preliminary discovery has added more evidence of federal involvement in censorship at all major social-media companies. But a motion to dismiss is pending in that case, and it remains to be seen whether courts will find that state attorneys general have standing to press these claims. A user class action would overcome this difficulty too.

That no monetary damages lie waiting explains why plaintiff class-action firms aren’t lining up to bring this litigation. But that shouldn’t deter intrepid public-interest lawyers who still believe in the First Amendment, few though they may be. (And if the plaintiffs prevail in a civil-rights case, their lawyers are entitled to attorney fees at market rates.)

Let’s hope that proves incentive enough. The internet, as the Supreme Court has said, is the modern public square. The freedom of speech can’t survive in this country if the government is free to work with tech companies to control what can be said or seen in that square.

Mr. Rubenfeld is a professor at Yale Law School and a First Amendment lawyer. He has advised numerous clients who have been censored online.

I had one bastard build a house extension. I checked his work every night. Was hitting most dimensions within a mm so started to relax oversight. He put up the steelwork for the mezzanine and said he “had a few problems”. Well the few problems came from the fact he had it’s location 100mm out. Instead of working out what went wrong, he ploughed on. This led to some massive clearance issues later on.

It’s one thing to make a mistake on a job. But it’s an entirely different thing to hide it, ignore it, etc. which is what most of these bastards seem to do.

Dames’ names put Perrottet in a spin
Georgina Noack
GEORGINA NOACK

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has been left red-faced after he appeared to forget the name of Australia’s first woman governor-general as he unveiled a world-first statue at the Sydney Cricket Ground this morning.

The premier struggled to recall the name of Dame Quentin Bryce – the first and only woman to hold the position – as he was introducing her at a ceremony to unveil a bronze sculpture of former Australian women’s cricket captain Belinda Clark.

Mr Perrottet seemed to confuse Dame Bryce with former NSW governor Dame Marie Bashir, who served from 2001 to 2014, telling reporters “I’ve had a mind blank” before introducing the right dame.

Mr Perrottet’s office has been contacted for comment.

Dame Bryce served as the 25th governor-general of Australia from 2008 to 2014 and was president of the Australian Women’s Cricket Council.

Clark, now 52, was captain of the Australian women’s cricket team and the statue makes her the first female cricketer to be immortalised in bronze.

From Indolent’s link …

Of note, it has been recently reported that intravenous injection of COVID-19 mRNA vaccine is able to induce an acute (epi-) myocarditis in a preclinical model [28]. Interestingly, we recorded inflammatory foci predominantly in the right heart, which may suggest a gradual blood-stream derived dilution effect and based on this finding it is at least tempting to speculate that inadvertent intravascular vaccine injection may be contributive.

One thing from spending a bit of time travelling over the break. Jetstar get a bad rap, deservedly so mostly. However one thing I noticed was how junior their people seem, just the PA announcements at MEL Terminal 4 the other day were far from polished. One girl had a loud over the top voice that came across as boganish (If she was trying emulate what Virgin does please don’t, it irritates me there as well when use them). The other kept pausing mid sentence to think what to say next and mispeaking only to correct afterwards. The onboard crew weren’t bad but I have been told the aviation industry has been doing a lot of training after COVID.

I haven’t done much air travel since COVID but have noticed even on the Qantas Queensland routes that none of the regular flight crew that I used to come across in the past are around anymore. Made me start to ponder about the pilot hours and training…

Was thinking the other day that Joe Rogan had been fairly quiet in relation to Covid and interviewing Dr’s etc.

Well he is back on the subject big time in latest interview with Bret Weinstein. Am only half way though the three hour interview but a few points so far.

They discuss the Jordan Peterson issue of having to undergo some media training because critical of PM Trudeau.

Detailed discussion on the more vaccinated the more vulnerable you are (ie. recent studies).

Rough quotes
“exaggerated case fatality rate is not one that should have caused us to vaccinate billions”.
About vax “Undeniable pattern of danger to young people”.
“somehow whatever it is driving this policy is comfortable with the deaths” when talking about health authorities not changing policies.

Bret then discusses “black budgets” where so much money is generated off the books that funds can be used for other things. He makes a case for people knowing early (ie. at time of Wuhan games) but that there may have been reasons why it was beneficial to some to delay the knowledge about the virus as gave them time to plan to benefit (ie, share buying etc). He uses the term “time travelling money printer” (ie. they slowed time of knowledge spread to make money).

Now getting onto myocarditis and both highly complimentary of Dr John Campbell and his approach. Talking about aspiration that John mentioned long time ago. Mentioned unluckier if injection hit blood vessel. Now talking about Chris Martinsen and batch issues (this has definitely been covered by Aussie Twitter guy Jikkyleaks in past week).

He also understands the importance of “crossing the T” and on our set piece manoeuvres he comes up with some innovative ways of doing this.

Unfortunately I can’t find a waterline series of warships I made out of fruit crates when I was a kid, coated in grey enamel paint. Perfect for these exercises!

The last couple of days before flight you need to run on 50% normal sleep so you develop the ability to sleep up a hollow log at mid day!!

1000km Day 1, 500 yesterday and 1500 today.

Nice. 10 to 15 hundred usually has been my usual when driving south from the ‘ville. Sometimes north bound I have been adventurous when getting the other side of Emerald at night and just pushing through. Not really much north of Injune but even less north of Clermont.

Safe trip.

Bar Beach Swimmer says: Does anyone know how to reset a bigpond email account password?

I think, you are using the wrong approach, instead of ‘resetting’ use ‘forgot password’

If resetting, it’s assumed you know your old one, this does not apply to forgotten passwords.

This is a post made on Twitter today by Prof Peter Docherty (the Docherty Institute guy who won a Noble prize). He was replying to a moron asking about more jabs.

“Up to policy makers, advized by the CMO, & to ATAGI who will have access to whatever data sets are out there. Just giving adults 4 doses of vaccine in relatively short succession has been a massive experiment. Detailed immunology analysis will come through, but that takes time”.

There you have it. Exactly what Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt said almost 2 years ago about being in a clinical trial.

Crenshaw rapidly lost his protective colouring as a ‘seeker-of-Truth’ to become just another RINO, IMHO.
Disappointing.

Indeed, I suspect the ‘Rebels’ know McConnell will get the job but are
trying to force some concessions.

Bret then discusses “black budgets” where so much money is generated off the books that funds can be used for other things.

One of the most shameful acts that happened under the Trump administration was the seizing of Venezuelan assets.
What Venezuela did to contracts & assets that negatively impacted US companies wasn’t dissimilar to what the Saudi’s did with all contracts & assets that were agreed to before the US showed up.

A golfer is in a competitive match with a friend, who is ahead by a couple of strokes. “Boy, I’d give anything to sink this putt” the golfer mumbles to himself.

Just then, a stranger walks up beside him and whispers “Would you be willing to give up a quarter of your sex life to sink the putt?”

Thinking the man is crazy and his answer will be meaningless, the golfer also feels that maybe this is a good omen, so he says “Sounds good to me” and promptly sinks the putt!

Two holes later, he mumbles to himself again “Gosh, I wish I could get an eagle on this one”.

The same stranger is suddenly at his side again and whispers “Would it be worth giving up another quarter of your sex life to make an eagle?”

Shrugging, the golfer replies “Okay” and, amazingly, he makes the eagle.

On the final hole, the golfer needs another eagle to win. Without waiting for him to say anything, the stranger quickly moves to his side and says “Would winning this match be worth giving up the rest of your sex life?”

Definitely” the golfer replies, and, sure enough, he makes the eagle and wins the match!

As the golfer is walking to the club house, the stranger walks along beside him and says “I haven’t really been fair with you because you don’t know who I am. I’m Satan, and from this day forward you really will have no sex life at all”.

“Nice to meet you” the golfer replies “I’m Father Gleason”.
