In the very near future, America will be divided by those who openly embrace and support pedophilia and those of us who do not.

You referenced protesters being arrested. Happens every day in the West.

It does not, at least not in the way you’re describing and not in the same way it’s happening in Russia.

There is simply no evidence of an imminent change in the regime or of one brewing.

Who said there was any imminent danger? Have I? Have any one the pieces I linked or posted? Where did you get this imminent danger shtick?

Hilarious.

The clip, from the YouTube series “Pauline Hanson’s Please Explain” and posted on Friday, describes the NDIS as a “scam” and a “rort” and makes offensive depictions of people with a disability.

It includes suggestions people can qualify for the scheme with a stubbed toe, difficulty concentrating, while it also says Greens voters can apply due to their “cognitive disability”.

“It does not, at least not in the way you’re describing and not in the same way it’s happening in Russia.”

JC, I would agree with that, however I think the West has now lost all moral superiority and is on a trajectory of destruction and mayhem. Yes, that’s my personal opinion and perhaps I’m being a tad gloomy. I know some here will accuse me of hyperbole but I don’t think so, it’s clear the West is hurtling to disaster.

I watched what ensued in the Tennessee State Legislature a few days ago, where the three far-left Demonrats and their supporters in the gallery obstructed and debased proceedings. I was witnessing a real insurrection, when far-left radicals tried to stop a democratic legislature proceeding. What happens in the USA will happen here, it’s just a matter of time.

Watching what happened in Tennessee, I felt I was watching a third world country, actually I was watching something worse, I was reminded of what the Bolsheviks did in 1917, after the March revolution, when they caused mayhem in the Duma. And then, out of that deliberate mayhem, Lenin rose, like a demon, and the rest is history. Those Demonrats in Tennessee, our Greens, a lot in Labor, they’re all the same, no different to Lenin and his Bolshevik acolytes.

Marcia Langtons WTC comment has brought out all the ill feeling towards such events.

I suspect a comfortable majority of Australians suffer in silence through the endless number of welcome to/acknowledgement of country rituals they are subjected to on a daily basis. These things are inescapable. You get an email from a medium-sized company and there’s a decent chance it’s in the signature. You get an email from a large corporation or the government and it undoubtedly will be in the signature.

There is a smallish minority of people who insist on this; they police it relentlessly, ensuring their adherence to all of the latest Aboriginal Inc style guide updates regarding the precise manner in which the acknowledgement must be made in spoken and written form. They feel wonderfully righteous when administering this hollow, pointless gesture that does absolutely nothing to improve the lot of those being acknowledged upon the silent majority that inwardly groans as the tedious motions are gone through yet again.

If “vote no and you’ll never get a Welcome To Country again!” catches fire, it could potentially sink the entire endeavour. It could be a tipping point.

Funny thing is that Langton appears to have absolutely no idea of this dynamic. She no doubt thinks she kicked an incredible goal with that line, and it wouldn’t have crossed her mind that it was an own-goal.

I kind of feel sorry for her. She seems like really quite an isolated figure. She clearly doesn’t understand mainstream Australia and she certainly wants to have as little to do with it as possible. And I doubt she has much (if any) truck with her ‘mob’. Who’d want to be around that sad sack? If you weren’t already pissed off your bonce, you’d soon need to be to endure her company. I guess she fits in in the world of academia, but I imagine she would reject it as a colonial institution of oppression that has subjugated her people since first contact. No wonder she looks so unhappy all of the time.

Russia most certainly does matter because not a day goes by without one of the kelpocrats threatening nuclear armageddon.

The US is escalating and prolonging the conflict by funding the carnage. Regime change in Russia is what the US neo-cons and that addled POTUS want and like everything else they touch (Libya, Iraq, Iran, KSA , China/Taiwan) that project too will turn to shit and make the world a much more dangerous place for everyone but themselves.

Cass

I have no disagreement about what’s happening in the West. The only difference is that I’m not as gloomy. The US has a way of getting into pickles and eventually getting out.
Not in any order:
Things were far more gloomy, I thought, before Musk took over Twitter. But he did.

The house went to the GOP, and the SCOTUS is currently in safe hands after overturning that abomination, Roe vs Wade.

And don’t forget, in that example you gave, that two of those arseholes have been expelled.

The big US cities are a mess, and perhaps some of them or most of them won’t survive. That’s okay too.

My one big concern is if the GOP can get its act together and cheat as much as the Demonrats in 24. 🙂

Pretty much everyone I know resents having their noses rubbed in the “welcome to the country” shit. But till now this seems to have largely been kept private.

Thanks dopey. The initial investigation featured both altar boys one of whom either retracted or disavowed being molested. That didn’t affect the investigation or the trial because the boy made no formal statement before he died. His parent who made this known AFAIK played no part in the trial; their evidence would have been hearsay but it would have had some probative value. Technology (internet), Big Data, air travel and global, rampant intolerant leftism have changed the strategic landscape.

WW2 was essentially focused on Europe and parts of Asia/Pacific only.
Great Depression was also temporary and focused on some US and Western groups, unnecessarily prolonged by leftist FDR, just look at a graph of the Dow .
Nuclear exchange? Hasn’t happened outside Japan. A threat that has been peddled by the usual catastrophists since 1947. Won’t happen unless that demented, arthritic, flatulent moron in the WH escapes his carers.
USSR/China/Laos/Cambodia/Cuba/Vietnam/South America were failed utopian experiments successfully resisted by a then-saner West.

Regarding Rupert’s moderators, I got a little insight into how it works a few years ago.
This was before the Herald-Sun went behind the paywall.
Long story but I’ll try to summarise.
A guy called Ryan Johns was jailed in 2003 for manslaughter and had two other priors for assault before appearing in court in 2009 for delivering a karate kick to a guy’s head.
The Magistrate (Duncan Reynolds) didn’t give him anything close to a decent sentence, reported as follows:-

In jailing Johns for eight months, Magistrate Duncan Reynolds said he did not want to impose a crushing sentence that would affect his efforts at rehabilitation.

I found a couple of sentencing remarks from Reynolds from other cases which were highly contradictory of the above and submitted them as a comment.
No bagging of the magistrate, just the series of direct quotes.
Comment rejected.
I emailed the journo asking why.
He comes back and says that the in-house lawyer says it is “sub-judice”.
I call bullshit. They are all completed cases and there can’t be a gag order because I lifted the quotes out of Herald Sun reports.
Journo goes back to lawyer again.
Lawyer says it could be seen as “contempt of court”.
Bullshit again, I say. How can it be contempt to directly quote a magistrate’s own comments?
Journo comes back and asks if I am a criminal lawyer.
I say, “Well, no. But I reckon I know more than the clown you’ve got in-house.”
He didn’t disagree.

Aboriginal issues are rather a thorny issue in this part of the world. Leaving aside the issue of the local being prosecuted for building a culvert on his own land, and upsetting some mythical serpent or other, the local elders are claiming that the ‘old people” passed on the story of the massacre of a group of Noongar women and children, by police and settlers, in the early days of this district. Anybody asking questions about forensic evidence of such an atrocity, is accused of not respecting Noongar oral history…

I am close friends with two ladies from the Portuguese community. There English is not very good. They did not know anything about the Referendum on the Voice. I explained it to them this way:
You must vote No otherwise:
1. those who claim to be Aboriginal (be it 1/16th or 10%) they will get two votes while you only get one.
2. They will then get you to pay rent on the property you have paid for.
3. There will be nothing that can be done about it because it will be our Constitution which elected members of Parliament can’t go against or change.

They were suitably horrified.

the go-to for a Force 10 hangover is Filet-o-Fish, large chips, large chocolate thickshake

Followed by a snifter or two before bed at 11.30. Bad dreams at 12.15 and a “roiling” stomach at 12.30am. Laying in bed for an hour thinking “will I or won’t I” Followed by a groggy run to the dunny.

Then a voluminous technicolour yawn or four that manages to coat the commode and assorted seat with about 3 litres of Campbells chunky chicken and corn soup. That soup-like substance is mixed with chocolate dairy fish pieces that manage to find their way into the tiling grout and the hinges on the toilet seat.

Be sure to wash the room with the garden house and pine-o-clean the next morning as the dry stuff is like getting burnt omelette off a frypan.

Funny how this comes out at Easter when no one is paying attention to Canberra.

Low-middle income earners face major pay cuts as Treasurer Jim Chalmers signals end of tax offset (8 Apr)

“More than 10 million Australians struggling with the cost of living crisis will face one of the largest tax increases in history.

According to a report from Nine papers, Treasurer Jim Chalmers will not extend the Low-Middle-Income Tax Offset (LMITO) when the federal budget is delivered in May.

This means those earning under $126,000 a year will suffer a $1,500 hit to their hip pocket and a person earning $100,000 will be $1,200 worse off.

People taking home $50,000 a year will suffer a 3.4 per cent or $29 per week cut in their after-tax income while those earning $90,000 will cop a 2.1 per cent hit.

The LMITO, which costs the budget $11 billion a year, was introduced for the 2018-2019 financial year as part of the first stage of the Turnbull government’s three-stage tax cuts.”

So low to middle income taxpayers are getting a ferocious tax rise? Funny how I didn’t notice this being mentioned by Labor in the run up to the election. Good and hard, proles, good and hard.

The research, which surveyed 93 former MPs, found most ex-parliamentarians struggled to find work, with some unemployed for years.
That’s because once they have been out of office for a few months their previous contacts are worthless, and they have no other sellable skills (tongue bathing is a skill in limited demand).

I couldn’t resist commenting on this from earlier yesterday. Ex-pollies acquire an inflated image of themselves while in parliament that they are worth far more than anyone else and deserve a high position once they are back among us.

Parliament is like an expensive holiday paid by someone else so when they get back home pollies should return to their prior job or profession. Anything more I consider as corruption.

No wonder they find it hard to get a job when turfed out by the voters, who wants to give a job to someone who lied in public and looked down on everybody else?

The less known a politician the more likely I would employ them. Media prominence means that they are destructive to any other cause but their own.

Who exactly is in government now? They could have quietly extended it. They let it lapse, regardless of the consequences.

I suppose they’ll wait for the squeals and pleas, adjust the periwig, make a leg and strew largesse to the proles at the upcoming budget.

Yes Monty, we’ll call it a Trans tax increase.
You aren’t allowed to call it a tax increase and must pretend not to notice the big bulging tax increase.
All fixed by ideology.

Oh look, the pervert apologist is here, up early in the morning. Yesterday he rudely described us here as a bunch of “cranks, losers in life whose chickens are now coming home to roost electorally.” And there was more! He described us as “irrelevant“.

It is odd, though, how he likes to spend a lot of time among us “cranks and losers in life“.

I wonder how one defines “cranks and losers in life”?

Low income? Lack of intellectual curiosity? Inability to form deep, lasting relationships with others? Addiction?

I read this blog every day because it is peopled with wise men and women from all walks of life. I find I have learnt so much, been challenged in many areas and have received countless nuggets of wisdom. Most of all, I feel as if I am part of a conversation that ebbs and flows, goes in multiple directions, occasionally derails but always entertains and often edifies.

If this is what it is to be a bunch of cranks and losers in life, it doesn’t seem all that bad. Indeed, I would be honoured to be counted as one. From proud deplorable to proud crank and loser in life just like that! Thanks, Monty!

The very first time a tranny showed up in womens sport the women should have walked. They only have themselves to blame. Going along with something coz of personal discomfort if you don’t doesn’t work. Expecting someone else to come to your rescue is a lack of conviction.

He literally waited a year to swap competitions.
Some people, most likely cranks and losers, might have some serious reservations about what motivated the decision to slip on a sports bra.

I don’t disagree but some young women are being compelled. Those young college girls who competed against the pervert and cheat Lia Thomas last year were threatened with expulsion and so on. They did have doubts and misgivings. Riley Gaines, physically attacked a few days ago at San Fran University by trans perverts, is now speaking up. She has spoken about how she and her team mates were gagged, threatened and coerced, they did have strong misgivings and doubts but were silenced.

Walking away at the starting gun would be more effective, news-wise.

Women in sport needed to hear a few voices outside sport calling out the men in new clothes.
Incidentally it seems to me it’s just a little bit different to women wanting to join the Melbourne Club.

Yep.

Also, when Gaines and other young women complained about Thomas deliberately exposing his big dick in the changeroom, they were told to STFU.

I see Hassan trying to tie up Taibbi over Musk’s supposed support of censorship in India directed by Modi.
Hassan’s anti Modi stance is well known and supported by the left media and wet conservatives.
I have visited India regularly for over twenty years and have noticed the rise of the full burqa amongst young Muslim women.
This is counter to my other observation that women increasingly noticeable in all aspects of social, political and business life in India.
The Indians I’ve spoken to quietly say it’s not a good sign and they fear a repeat of the murderous chaos of partition.
You don’t have to be a fan of Modi to know that he sees the retrograde trend in the Muslim community and wants to stop it before it creates nationwide conflicts.

Yes it is marketing suicide so why do they do it?

Because they hired woke executives to whom abusing their positions to force normalization of this perversion on the public is a higher duty than their fiduciary one to the shareholders.

Can shareholders sue for failure of fiduciary duty?

Victorian ALP knows their goose is cooked at the next election.
They also know how unemployable they are.
Their value on the open market is about half minimum wage. (i.e. they’d be about half as good as a backpacker at pushing a broom in a coffee shop)

Corporate boards are full of former politicians who have friends there, particularly industry super funds. It is likely to get worse as corporations become more woke.

Via Black Ball

Two things.

One, why on earth should politicians who lose their jobs for whatever reason be given special treatment? Lots of people lose their jobs through no fault of their own. They get another job, or go on the dole. Giving politicians special treatment just widens the gulf between them and the people they are supposed to represent.

Two, a local member who has been doing his/her job properly should have built up a reservoir of goodwill in the electorate. There should be lots of people who can testify to that person’s diligence and commitment and good faith. It shouldn’t be hard for that person to get another job.

I rather suspect that the unemployed ex-politicians are refusing jobs that pay less and have less perks than they are used to.

Welcome to the real world, parasites.
