The Hamas spokesrat said the vile tortures, beheadings, capture of babies, etc weren’t done by Hamas but by Palestinians who stormed the border after Hamas breached it, that Hamas only attacked and captures Israeli military personnel. In other words, in order to deny it on behalf of Hamas, he’s implicated all of Gaza’s population. That grants Israel more freedom to wipe their slate clean?

Meloni: Hamas wants to oust Jews from the Middle East
The Italian PM was in Israel over the weekend and met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv on Saturday night.
As against Australian Labor Party/Greens & Some TEALS, Italy stands with Israel in its fight against Hamas’s antisemitic drive to uproot Jews from the Middle East,
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu late Saturday night when the two met in Tel Aviv.
“We saw images that were incredible about what happened two weeks ago,” she said as she referred to the October 7 Hamas assault on southern Israel in which over 1,400 civilians and soldiers were killed, more than 5,000 injured and another 210 people were taken hostage. Some of those taken are believed to be Italian citizens.
She is among the European leaders who have harshly condemned the brutality of the attack that included burning adults and children alive, rape, and dismemberment. – As against the Australian Labor Party, Greens & Some TEALS who approve this!
This was more than an act of war, she told Netanyahu.
This “showed somebody who wants to cancel Jewish people from this region,” Meloni said, as she attributed their actions to antisemitism.
“That is something we have to fight yesterday and today,” she stated.
Italy supports Israel’s right to exist and defend itself, she said, stressing that “terrorism has to be fought.”
Meloni added that, “We believe and we think that you are able to do that in the best way, for we are different from those terrorists.”
Show of solidarity – As against Australian Labor Party, Greens & Some TEALS
It was important, she said, to visit Israel as a show of “solidarity” by the Italian government and the Italian people.
She was one of a host of world leaders who have arrived in Israel since October 7, including US President Joe Biden, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides also arrived in Israel on Saturday night and met with Netanyahu and his Israeli counterpart Isaac Herzog. French President Emmanuel Macron is also due to arrive in Israel this week.
Meroni came to Israel after attending an international summit in Cairo on the Gaza war that began on October 7. Close to 5,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since then either from IDF aerial strikes or failed Palestinian rocket launches.

Hamas fugitive living the high life in UK-funded London home, The Sunday Times finds
The two-story property comes with a garden and a garage, and is located only a 10 minute drive from the nearest synagogue.
Muhammad Qassem Sawalha, a Hamas terrorist who ran operations in the West Bank, has been enjoying life in a British, state-funded home in the London borough of Barnet, The Sunday Times has reported. Barnet also houses one-fifth of all British Jews.
Sawalha recently purchased his council property, after living there since 2003, with a £112,000 discount (approximately NIS 552,500) with the help of the UK’s right-to-buy scheme.
The two-story property, which comes with a garden and a garage, is located only a 10-minute drive from the nearest synagogue.
The terrorist entered Britain through the use of a relative’s passport in the 1990s and has since claimed British citizenship, the Times reported.
Hamas is a recognized terrorist organization in the United Kingdom and supporting Hamas can lead to a 14-year prison sentence under the Terrorism Act.
Remote work for Hamas
While living in the UK, 62-year-old Sawalha was able to continue his work for Hamas remotely, through helping the terrorist organization launder money, the Times reported while citing a US Department of Justice indictment.
The Hamas terrorist took part in a 2019 visit to Moscow in an official capacity, where he served as Hamas’s politburo representative between 2013 and 2017.
In 2009, Sawalha signed a declaration that praised Allah for having “routed the Zionist Jews,” and called for weapons to be sent to Gaza, while demanding a “Third Jihadist Front.”
How are British officials reacting?
The council’s leader, Barry Rawlings, told the Times that he was “horrified to think [Sawalha] could be living in our midst” and said he had launched a review.
“We will liaise with other stakeholders including the police and the government in reviewing the full history of this case and will take all appropriate action,” he said.
“This has emerged at a time when communities locally are in desperate need of reassurance following the escalating conflict in the Middle East, and we have a responsibility as the council to ensure we can give that reassurance.”
UK Lawyers for Israel reported on Sawalha’s background in 2020 and informed counterterrorism police.
Now, an investigation is being launched on whether the tenancy violated sanctions.

Hamas torture confirmed as Israeli forensics institute identifies victims
Forensic pathologists, including Israeli staffers as well as volunteers from abroad, were visibly disturbed by the evidence before them.
Stifling the urge to retch became a difficult task as I walked through the lower levels of Israel’s National Center of Forensic Medicine (Abu Kabir) in Tel Aviv.
The smell of rotting human remains, much of which was completely unrecognizable as human due to the brutality of the attack, was at times too much to bear.
In light of the growing international interest in (and denials of) the Palestinian terror group Hamas’ October 7 massacre in southern Israel, representatives of the global press were invited to see the horrors for themselves.
Forensic pathologists, including Israeli staffers as well as volunteers from abroad, were visibly disturbed by the evidence before them. Despite every effort to remain objective and detached—as called for by the profession—many broke down into tears throughout the day.
During the initial press conference, the forensics team showed images from their investigations.
Among the images were those of charred hands with marks that revealed where the victims’ hands were bound behind their backs with metal wire before being burned alive.
Perhaps the most disturbing image in the slideshow was a completely charred mass of flesh, which at first glance could not be seen as ever having belonged to a human.
It was only after a CT scan was done that experts could see the inhumanity of the image.
Two spinal cords—one belonging to an adult, one to someone young—a parent and child bound together by metal wires in a final embrace before being set alight.
“When you do this job downstairs, you get detached,” Dr. Chen Kugel, the head of Abu Kabir, told The Media Line. “But then you learn the stories and connect to the people. It’s hard not to feel the tragedy. It’s so big.
And when I go to the Shura camp [where deceased bodies in Israel are first collected] and see containers like you’d see at the port—but they’re all full of bodies… And you hear the stories—that behind their charred bodies, something terrible happened—it’s very difficult.
I’ve seen many things in my 31-year career, but the magnitude and the cruelty [here] is terrible,” Kugel added.
“The proportion of bodies we’ve received who are charred is high,” Kugel explained.
“Many have gunshot wounds in their hands, showing they put their hands up to their faces in defense.
Many were burned alive in their homes. … We know they were burned alive because there is soot in their trachea, their throats—meaning they were still breathing when set on fire.”
Victims likely died from carbon monoxide, soot inhalation
The single mercy, Kugel said—if there is one to be found—is that the burned victims likely died from carbon monoxide and soot inhalation before the fire killed them.
Kugel also explained that the age range of the victims spans from 3 months to 80 or 90 years old. Many bodies, including those of babies, are without heads.
Asked if they were decapitated, Kugel answered yes. Although he admits that, given the circumstances, it’s difficult to ascertain whether they were decapitated before or after death, as well as how they were beheaded, “whether cut off by knife or blown off by RPG,” he explained.
Kugel was far from the only one who got emotional when discussing the evident travesty. “We disassociate because we need to work, but from time to time it gets to you,” Dr. Nurit Bublil, head of Abu Kabir’s DNA laboratory, told The Media Line.
“Yesterday, I opened evidence from a house in a southern kibbutz, and there was a popular recipe book covered in blood. … I have this same book, and it makes you take a moment and think, it could have been my kitchen, my children, my parents, me. You can’t avoid it,” she said.
Additionally, Israel’s small population gives rise to the fact that no one is far removed from the wake of the massacre. “My sister has a close friend of hers who is still missing,” said Bublil, as she stood beside a blood-stained mattress from a baby’s crib. The DNA from the mattress will be used to try and identify a brutally disfigured and unaccounted-for infant.
“I got the message today from my neighbor,” Bublil continued. “She asked if I could help because her good friend’s husband, father, two nephews, and father-in-law’s wife were all murdered too and have yet to be identified.”
This is the crux of the forensic pathology center’s current mission in which roughly 200 experts are participating. Forensic pathologists, anthropologists, radiologists, and more from Israel as well as from the US, Switzerland, New Zealand, and elsewhere around the world have come not simply to determine the victims’ causes of death but to identify the bodies for burial.
Fighting back tears, Israeli forensic pathologist Dr. Hagar Mizrahi explained that “as you know, the Jewish people must bury their dead as soon as possible.” But as of this writing, nearly two weeks have passed since the massacre, and some 350 bodies remain unidentified. “So, the people here at Abu Kabir are doing their best to help and identify the most severe cases that arrive.”
Identifying bodies
Four places around the country are currently working to identify and release bodies for burial.
The Israel Police headquarters in Jerusalem is handling all the antemortem samples and personal items for DNA comparisons. The Israel Defense Forces is working on 1-1 DNA comparisons using their data on soldiers, including fingerprints, dental records, and DNA. In addition, Abu Kabir is working to collect DNA samples and identification for the most severe cases. It’s also where all the DNA samples from other locations come for additional testing. And the Shura camp near Ramla, in central Israel, is where all the deceased are initially collected. Shura currently has some 950 body bags in its possession.
The word “bags” is written here instead of “bodies” because it’s not clear how many victims there are within them.
“More than one person’s remains may be in a single bag,” Kugel explained, “and one person’s remains may be in multiple bags.”
When looking at remains, he added, “We know there are multiple people because we see double.
For example, if you see two bones from the left maxilla, then it couldn’t be from the same person.”
And in many cases, bones without so much as a speck of extractable DNA are all that’s left.
For that reason, Kugel said that some victims’ families would be right to fear the worst.
“We hope that with CT and biopsies, we can bring the unidentified down to less than 200. But some people, we will never find. We will never identify them. And people need to be prepared for this.”
Speaking personally, Bublil said that she wants the world to know that “generally, Hamas enjoyed the killing.”
According to Bublil, “This was not combat, or a military conflict, or a state conflict, or a political conflict. [Hamas] enjoyed the murders so much that they did everything they could do to celebrate the killing.
They celebrated burning houses with civilians inside who didn’t do anything to them.
They enjoyed grabbing an 18-year-old girl from a party, a festival, dragging her to a car, and taking her to Gaza. And who knows what happened [to her] in between.
They enjoyed and celebrated the death. … These are monsters.
They’re not human… They weren’t merciful to anyone. No one who was alive and encountered them remained alive. No one.”

US tells Sunak to ban Iran’s terrorist forces
State department’s call to proscribe Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps comes amid growing suggestions Tehran was complicit in Israel attack
The US is calling on Britain to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as terrorists in the wake of Tehran’s “complicity” in Hamas’s massacre of 1,400 people in Israel.
Joe Biden’s administration is publicly urging its allies to “designate the IRGC as a terrorist organisation” over the Iranian state security body’s link to terror across the globe.
A Whitehall source said some senior US officials had been privately encouraging their UK counterparts to proscribe the body, which has been banned in the US since 2019.
Matthew Miller, the US State Department’s official spokesman, said: “We absolutely think that other countries should designate the IRGC as a terrorist organisation.
“It’s a position that we’ve made clear a number of times. They finance terrorist activities, they have around the world for some time, and we think that other countries should take that step of designating them.”
The public remarks, at a briefing in Washington DC, will add to growing pressure within Britain to proscribe the IRGC, after several Tory MPs publicly called on Mr Sunak to act last week.
On Thursday, Robin Simcox, the Government’s counter-extremism tsar, said it was “unsustainable” for membership of the group and support for it to remain legal.

On Thursday, Robin Simcox, the Government’s counter-extremism tsar, said it was “unsustainable” for membership of the group and support for it to remain legal.
It come as Rishi Sunak warns that Israel also now faces the threat of the “heavily armed, Iranian-backed force of Hezbollah” on its northern border, following the Oct 7 attack which is believed to have been partly motivated by Iran and Hamas’s desire to wreck a looming rapprochement between Israel and Saudi Arabia.
Writing in The Telegraph following meetings with the leaders of Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the Palestinian Authority, the Prime Minister states: “This pogrom was motivated by an evil hatred. But it was also prompted by a fear that a new dawn might be breaking in the Middle East, one that would leave old hatreds behind and offer hope of better, more secure, more prosperous lives across the region. On this trip, I was determined to keep that hope of a better future alive.”
Also writing for the Telegraph, Eli Cohen, Israel’s foreign minister, states: “The fanatical Iranian Ayatollah regime sustains Hamas militarily, financially, and politically. The Iranian regime is fostering war, trying to ignite an additional front from Lebanon through its other proxy, Hezbollah.
“They all strive to the annihilation of Israel, which would enable Iran to take over the entire Middle East and to spread its militant Islamist revolution further towards the Mediterranean, Europe and worldwide.”
On Saturday, tens of thousands of people marched in London in support of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
A separate rally by Hizb ut-Tahrir, an extremist Islamist group, featured calls for “Muslim armies” of neighbouring Arab states to invade Israel.
The State Department’s call came after a cross-party group of members of congress, including the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, wrote to Mr Sunak in May stating that “designating the IRGC will send the clear message to Iran that acts of terrorism against us, our partners, and innocent citizens must not, and will not be tolerated”.
Sanctions in place
Suella Braverman, who as Home Secretary is responsible for proscribing terror groups, is understood to have been making the case for formally designating the IRGC as one. Such a move would make membership of or support for the group illegal, joining organisations such as Hamas, Islamic State and al-Qaeda.
However, James Cleverly, the Foreign Secretary, has said that “many of the things that people want” from proscription were “actually being achieved by our sanctions regime” that is already in place.
The Foreign Secretary’s spokesman said: “The US policy to publicly support designation is not new. However, this is a sovereign decision and whilst it always remains open as an option it is not currently the Government’s position. The IRGC are not only sanctioned in their entirety – a number of individuals within this group are further sanctioned themselves.”
Mr Miller’s public call for America’s allies to proscribe the IRGC contrasts with an earlier statement, in February, in which the State Department simply said it was “up to each country to determine what action in regards to the IRGC is applicable under their legal authorities and in their best interests”.
However, a source close to the Foreign Secretary said the Whitehall source’s description of private conversations with US counterparts “was not a characterisation we recognise”.
Mr Miller said that “Iran likely knew that Hamas was planning operations against Israel, but without the precise timing or scope of what occurred”.
Last week, Alicia Kearns, the chairman of the Commons foreign affairs committee, and the former cabinet ministers Dr Fox, Sir Simon Clarke and David Jones, were among those who publicly urged Mr Sunak to proscribe the IRGC.
Mr Sunak replied: “I agree that Iran both poses an unacceptable threat to Israel and has a destabilising influence throughout the region. That is why we have sanctioned more than 350 Iranian individuals, including the entirety of the IRGC.
“The new National Security Act 2023 also gives us the powers that we need to keep us safe here at home… we will continue to work closely with our allies in finding the best possible way to contain Iran’s pernicious activities.”
The US Embassy in London declined to comment.

BBC’s/ABC’s Israel reporting failures are a danger to British Jews, says ex-bossDanny Cohen accuses the broadcasters of ‘bias’ and ‘deep-rooted prejudice’
The BBC’s “failures” over its reporting of the Israel-Hamas conflict have had “dangerous, real-world consequences” for British Jews, a former director of the corporation’s television channels has said.
Writing in The Telegraph, Danny Cohen said BBC coverage of incidents including the explosion at Gaza’s al-Ahli hospital, have exposed institutional “bias and deep-rooted prejudice” at the corporation. The BBC said it disagreed with his characterisation.
Mr Cohen accused the broadcaster of having “rushed to judgement” over the explosion at the hospital in Gaza last week, when it announced “without qualification that Israel was responsible for the explosion and the tragic loss of life”.
He added: “Other media organisations picked up their line. Across the world, people believed Israel was responsible for the bombing of a hospital. More anti-Semitic violence and anger followed.”
A BBC correspondent had initially claimed that: “It’s hard to see what else this could be, really, given the size of the explosion other than an Israeli air strike or several air strikes”.
The corporation acknowledged that the reporter was “wrong to speculate” but insisted “he at no point reported that it was an Israeli strike”.
Mr Cohen’s intervention came as the head of the corporation’s Executive Complaints Unit insisted in a letter to Jeremy Brier, a prominent KC, that its policy of refusing to describe Hamas as “terrorists” was not “a departure from impartiality”.
The BBC denied that Britain’s designation of Hamas as a terror group required the corporation to describe its operatives as terrorists.
Mr Cohen said the BBC’s “mistakes” amounted to “institutional fault lines which reveal bias and deep-rooted prejudice”.
He cited a news article in 2021 reporting that students travelling in a bus were targeted in an anti-Semitic incident. Ofcom ruled that the BBC caused “significant distress” to the Jewish community when it reported that the students used anti-Muslim slurs.
It criticised the broadcaster for failing to report that an audio recording from the bus was disputed. The phrase which the BBC had interpreted as “dirty Muslims”, said in English, was identified by others as a Hebrew phrase which translated as: “Call someone, it’s urgent.”
‘Excuses for the prejudiced’
Mr Cohen said: “When the BBC gets its reporting this badly wrong it fuels the dangerous poison of anti-Semitism … It provides excuses for the prejudiced to act out their racism online or, more frighteningly, in the real world.”
A BBC spokesman said: “We wouldn’t agree with this characterisation of the BBC. Our starting point is always impartiality, and we take that incredibly seriously. That’s why we take so much effort to get our coverage of significant and complex world events right.
“In amongst thousands of hours of news broadcasting, there will always be some errors – and live reporting will always bring with it huge challenges, particularly when it is on the ground in the toughest of circumstances.
Where we do get things wrong, we always hold up our hands – as we did this week when one of our correspondents was wrong to speculate – along with others – about the cause of the Al-Ahli hospital explosion, even if he at no point reported that it was an Israeli strike.
“Audiences are coming to the BBC in their millions – looking for information they can trust, expert analysis they can rely on and first-hand, on the ground reporting. We are 100 per cent committed to getting that right. The BBC always listens and will continue to have a dialogue with audiences on our reporting and meet with Jewish community representatives and staff.”

I have to say growing up in Australia I would have never thought there would be a day where I felt afraid of sending my kids to school
This is here. This is also not right. It’s evil and needs to be seen as such.
Our politicians, police, people we looked to as friends have failed us. They have preferred “niceness” to reality. We are dealing with a deadly menace with a doe-eyed face…until it snarls en mass on our streets.
And still they look away.

Harley Street doctor compares Israel to Nazis as she posts picture of swastika next to state flag
Cosmetics procedures specialist reported to police over online comments following bombing of Gaza in response to Hamas massacre
A Harley Street doctor has been reported to the police after comparing Israel to the Nazis following the Hamas terror attacks of Oct 7.
Dr Maryam Osmani, 43, a former NHS doctor who runs a “luxury aesthetic clinic” offering cosmetic procedures including Botox and fillers, sparked outrage by posting a picture of the swastika alongside the Israeli flag on her official Instagram page earlier this week.
The post appears to attempt to draw parallels between Israel and Adolf Hitler’s regime, which killed more than six million Jews during the Holocaust, by suggesting that both were “founded on supremacy”, “expelled millions from their homes” and “put racial groups in ghettos”.
It also suggests that Israel is like the Nazis by claiming both use “dehumanising language for undesirables” and “enforce collective punishments”.
Under the swastika, it reads: “Signature method: gas chambers” while under the Israeli flag it reads “Signature method: carpet bombing”.
Complaint being made to medical watchdog
Dr Osmani has been referred to the police and the Community Security Trust (CST), a charity that protects British Jews from anti-Semitism and related threats, and a complaint is being submitted to the General Medical Council, the healthcare watchdog.
Dave Rich, the CST’s director of policy, said: “It is difficult to think of anything more hurtful” than comparing Israel “to those who tried to exterminate us.”
A spokesman for the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism said: “Posts such as these, which compare Israel to the Nazis in breach of the International Definition of Anti-Semitism, are even more grotesque at a time when the Jewish people are mourning the biggest massacre since the Holocaust.
“This sort of rhetoric from doctors and other medical professionals demonstrates, at a minimum, a lack of empathy unworthy of those in medical practice, and fuels antisemitism in the UK.”
The incident comes amid reports of a rising tide of anti-Semitism among medical professionals.
An open letter to all employers of UK healthcare professionals from the UK Doctors Anti-Racism Group this week warned that Jewish medics had been “experiencing escalating anti-Semitism” from colleagues, both online and in person.
It cited several examples of “colleagues displaying extremist views and behaviours” including one suggestion that “Jews pray to kill Egyptian babies on Passover”, a lack of empathy for the murder of Israeli babies and children by Hamas and one patient referring to “foreign invaders”.
Earlier this week, an unnamed hospital launched an inquiry after a Jewish doctor with family members attacked by Hamas in Israel claimed to have been branded a “baby killer” by a colleague.
The consultant, who later reported the matter to his hospital, the police and the CST, said that “matters had degenerated into a shouting match”.
The other doctor has denied the claims, insisting he supports peace in the Middle East.
In another practice, a doctor told Jewish News that one receptionist turned up to work wearing a “Support Palestine” T-shirt on.
‘Loud and aggressive harassment’
A consultant working in a north of England hospital also told the newspaper that there was “very loud and aggressive harassment” in a group of Facebook doctors who are also mothers, whenever anything happened in the Middle East.
“If someone questions the attacks on Israel, there is immediately a response that ‘if you take our land, you deserve it’, or mentions of ‘genocide’ and ‘apartheid’.”
The Telegraph has seen comments posted on a closed Facebook group of around 20,000 medical professionals referring to the “wealth and power of the Jewish community”, accusing Israel of carrying out a “genocide” and describing Gaza as an “extermination camp”.
Last week, 2,000 medics wrote to the Department of Health and Social Care demanding officials remove the department’s Israel flag because of the country’s “genocide” of Palestinians.
It also called for Health Secretary Steve Barclay to officially condemn “the inexcusable war crimes committed by the state of Israel against Palestinian civilians in Gaza” while making no mention of the atrocities carried out by the terror group.
Among the signatories was Dr Mennah Elwan, a neurology registrar, who mocked festival-goers fleeing Hamas gunmen with a post which read “If it was ur home, u would stay and fight. U wouldn’t just run away” with a smiley face emoji.
Campaign groups and MPs have since called for her to be suspended by the NHS and investigated by the regulator.
Dr Osmani declined to comment when contacted by The Telegraph on Friday.
Calli, are you Jewish? I ask because of “the kids” point you made.

Hmmmm…I saw a black lesbian comedian on some BBC crap just then and all she talked about was menstrual cups, women; especially non white women aren’t sexual predators, women are more influential than men and Trump is the enemy of women.
I can’t understand why she doesn’t have the artistic success and material wealth of Norm Macdonald, Adam Sandler or even Roseanne Barr.

Oh gotcha. Most days, I travel through a predominantly Jewish neighborhood with lots of Jewish schools. Unfortunately, though it’s a good thing, they’re like fortresses and have armed security around. It’s more than unfortunate that it has to be this way.
You know, for the life of me I cannot fathom anti-sem in European populations around the world. I really just don’t get it. It has to be an envy thing.
Mainstream news was reporting ‘15,000’ at the Pally protest in the Melbourne CBD – didn’t look anything like that in the aerial footage though. Extraordinary.
Done
Excellent post.

Can’t imagine why?
I can tell you, from my experience, proportionally there is little or no differences between successful and struggling Jews and non Jewish people.
I think you have to go back centuries where the only occupation permitted for Jews were few and money lending by Christians was frowned upon if not completely forbidden so Jewish people took up the role of lenders.
No wonder it created resentment.
But you have go further back still, why this attitude in the first place?
I’ve read that they were blamed for the death of Christ, which created the original antagonism.
True or not I don’t know, I can theorize I suppose.
Those more versed into religion can enlighten.
They have the opportunity to demonstrate the responsibility that comes with their power as influencers of what events and individuals are promoted in the public consciousness and political sphere. They can choose to ‘turn off the lights’ on some issues that have the potential to inflame public unrest. They have done so in the past, but choose not to do so now. The Filth Filter (media) are intentionally inflaming social unrest, yet they are never held responsible for their actions.
When organisational psychopathy infects not only government entities, but the all-powerful FF … Let’s just say that I believe the devolution of our species is in full swing.

That’s a special sort of mental illness/ego/vanity.
In other news the loon judge who has fined Trump for criticising his staff, actually implying corruption by them, presents an interesting view of the 1st Amendment. That right is constrained by incitment if it is an incitement to violence or obscene and without any redeeming social value. However Trump can hide behind the big 1st Amendment justification of revealing corruption. Letitia’s motives are obviously corrupt. Trump must also make a case against this weird judge but perhaps leave his no doubt equally weird and corrupt staff alone.
My understanding is that Christians lending money, to other Christians, and charging interest, was what was frowned on.

Normally I agree, but today the downticks have a different feel to it.
Usually she gets one or two from her “fan”, today there were 10s if not more.
When even her christian church, brethren are praying for brutal murderers and 100s of thousand demonstrate for Palestine in the UK and thousands here, I can well imagine that attitude is mirrored here on this blog by some.
Sad but true.
Noticed that her other comments, not involving the atrocities does not attract the same hostility.

Yes, Old Ozzie, glad to be out of the Middle East full stop. Too many stray loonies around who could go beserk, and a war zone is always on an edge anyway as fronts shift. It seemed odd that I couldn’t seem to comment on the Cat on my phone – the words Jerusalem and Israel made a black line appear over them! Don’t know if that was censorship or something to do with the Cat’s comment box. Anyway, I took out my laptop, but it too was nearly out of juice. As for Hairy’s preparations, we have become rather slack with the international plugs (though we carry a range), because most hotels these days have the multi-plug type that takes all sorts of plugs. Not Amman airport though.
Airport security can hold you up if you have battery chargers so we don’t take them. They are bad enough holding you up for something they can’t comprehend on their xray machines. The officious security at Da Vinci Airport in Rome were very rude and took my small leather backpak away for bomb testing, and then refused to hand it back for ages. They wouldn’t tell me what the problem was either, not during the long wait nor when they handed it back. As we walked off I realised it was probably the jumble of gold and diamonds and other parts of my jewellery such as pearls all in a velvet pouch that created an unknown ball of stuff they couldn’t interpret. If they’d asked I could have simply opened it and shown them. They were unbelievably rude to me, Hairy noticed it and nearly had a go at them except you don’t do that to security. There rudeness was salt to the wound though, as we were supposedly on a ‘fast track’ security ticket from the airline.
Calli, the dreadful old crate was Royal Jordanian airlines. My theory (which Hairy says is nonsense) is that they are using their tired old planes on routes that may be shot up so they don’t lose the expensive ones. lol. Months ago Hairy had booked them business class through from Rome, via Amman, to Thailand, where we are now relaxing for two days in a rather good resort in Pattyia. I was shocked at the age and quality of that plane, but their Dreamliner from Amman to Bangkok was a very good modern plane and we had a very good flight. Their food and service on both flights was of a high airline standard. This last flight on the Dreamliner emphasised again to me was how much small things matter – what made the flight excellent for me was the large pillow they provided in place of the midgey little one offered for your lie-down bed on other airlines. A big comfy pillow and also a soft mattress had me off to sleep like tired little bubs are when in a flat second they just suddenly close their eyes and zonk out. We are managing the slow changes in time zones quite well; off to dinner here now, after breakfast on the plane five hours ago.
Yes. You are probably right on this specific.
But generally, Calli, don’t sweat it.
Cassie as I looked down onto Israel my heart felt very heavy for what you and the Jewish people are going through on and about that fairly small patch of land entirely surrounded in location by middle-eastern Islamic peoples who have an inbred hated of Jews. Hammas must be destroyed for it is a cancer on change within Islam.
What I found particularly cheering was when we pulled into the airbridge at Bangkok we were parked next to two big white sleek and new 777’s bearing the Star of David on their tails and Jewish writing on their sides, underneath in smaller letters in English was Israel Airlines. Israel is out and about in the world and those Islamic nations joining the modern world, like Royal Jordianian and other Islamic airlines, have to be neighbourly about airbridges. Israel will prevail, it said to me.
