The very excellent Alex Antic MP was on the Insiders this morning. He had some very serious warnings concerning the current government’s determination to enshrine not only proposed Australian Media & Communications Authority (the proposed determiner of “misinformation”), but also a Digital Identity Bill.

In which case, freedom of speech will be threatened in this country & in pursuit of the latter, the government will “know who and where we are” at any time ( if they don’t already).

Labor fixing Dutton’s ‘mess’ of detention scheme: Murray Watt (Sky News, 3 Dec)

Agriculture Minister Murray Watt says the Labor government is fixing Peter Dutton’s “mess” as they are set to introduce tougher preventative detention legislation this week.

This comes after the High Court released over 140 detainees from immigration detention.

Mr Watt said the Opposition Leader left an “unconstitutional” and “unlawful” scheme in place which led to the release of the detainees.

Um, Murray, remember the orange lifeboats? The only reason why those ferals were in custody is because you failed to deport them. Which you could have done quite easily. There’re all sorts of excellent places to lob an orange lifeboat on to, like the shore of Myanmar where the Rohingya muslim pedo came from.

Labor Tony Burke’s hand-picked deputy chair of Creative Australia Wesley Enoch revealed as director of play behind latest pro-Palestinian protest by STC actors

Labor Tony Burke’s hand-picked deputy chair of Creative Australia has been revealed to be the director of the Sydney Theatre Company play the Visitors in which actors gave statements on stage supporting Gaza following their performances.

Andrew Clennell -Political Editor

Australian Labor Federal Arts Minister Tony Burke’s hand-picked deputy chair of Creative Australia, (the rebadged Australia Council), is the director behind the latest pro-Palestinian protest by Sydney Theatre Company actors.

In August, Mr Burke – who has leant his support to the Palestinian cause in several public statements – appointed Wesley Enoch deputy chair of Creative Australia.

Mr Burke says he has known Mr Enoch, the brother of Queensland Arts Minister Leanne Enoch, for years but has not been so social with him that he has shared a meal with him and pointed out the NSW Liberal government appointed him to the Sydney Festival for four years.

Mr Enoch emerged at the weekend as the director of the STC play the Visitors in which actors gave statements on stage supporting Gaza following their performances.

Actors read a statement saying:

“This is a statement from the cast of The Visitors on the situation in Gaza. The cast wanted to come back out and say, as a collective, that we are actively sending our love to those who are being severely oppressed… From our small corner, we wanted to say that we see you.

“We refuse to look way from the mothers, the fathers, the families and the communities being pulled apart, especially the children.”

Mr Enoch told the Sydney Morning Herald on Saturday: “I think it’s the responsibility of every individual to have a position on important issues in the world and for you then to act upon those where and how you act upon that is absolutely up to you.

I’m not here to tell people what they can and can’t do in this way. I know what we did.”

The latest controversy follows the wearing of Palestinian headscarves known as keffiyehs by actors in an STC play called the Seagull – an act which led to the resignation from the Sydney Theatre Company board of Alex Schuman, the brother of Wentworth Independent MP Allegra Spender last week.

Mr Burke on Sky News’ Afternoon Agenda program last Thursday defended the keffiyeh protest.

“Any protest that involves hate speech, I’ll unequivocally condemn,” Mr Burke said.

“Beyond that, when people are simply presenting a different view or support in different ways… In recent times I’ve seen arts events where people have worn colours that are representative of the Palestinian people, colours that are representative of Israeli people, colours that are representative of Ukrainians. I’ve seen it all and I think that will always happen. Had they been wearing symbols of Hamas that would have been appalling.”

Mr Burke was also asked whether he was pushing for a more pro-Palestinian stance by the government in Cabinet.

He responded: “I’ve made my comments very publicly with respect to this. I’ve spoken and my views on the issue have been known for a very long time.

“I don’t talk about what I do inside the Cabinet room and I certainly support the decisions that the Cabinet’s taken.

“I represent a part of Sydney which isn’t only in a situation where people are similarly grieving… but who also constantly put a view that the history of the region did not begin on October 7.

“They’re wanting to make sure that we can take the steps towards a ceasefire . . they also want to make sure that the outcome is an ongoing solution with justice, rather than a continued situation that we’ve seen for too long of two-state being put off and off and off and seemingly never getting there.”

Sky News contacted the Chair of Creative Australia, Robert Morgan, about Mr Enoch’s comments but he declined to comment.

Not being a member of twatter, I cannot view the vid.
However, on a related matter, I would not be surprised if high-value h@m@s figures* were getting about disguised as women. Knowing the IDF’s surveillance capabilities, that would make sense.

* The leaders who were still commanding locally, that is. Aside from the very top, whom we know are mansioning in Qatar, it would not be surprising if mid-ranking leaders were calling shots from outside of Gaza, though I do not know if that is practical.

I still believe that – again, if practical – some of the more valuable hostages still alive might have been slipped out of Gaza.

Labor Blackout Chris Bowen’s single-minded renewables zealotry is leading Australia towards a Soviet-style mega disaster on an even larger scale

The Energy Minister’s claim our grid can be made 82 per cent carbon-free without resorting to nuclear power is utterly delusional, and leading Australia down a very dangerous path, writes Nick Cater.

Labor Blackout Bowen’s green leap forward is proving somewhat harder than he led us to expect.

Last year, the proportion of low-carbon energy powering the East Coast grid was 32 per cent, a long way short of Labor’s 2030 target of 82 per cent.

Yet in the grand tradition of the infamous Soviet central planner Comrade Alexei Larionov, Mr Bowen refuses to give up, insisting at Parliament on Thursday that his target is “ambitious but achievable”.

Comrade Larionov, chief of the Communist Party Committee of Ryazan Oblast, is famous for his ambitious and unachievable plan to treble his region’s meat production in a year.

It required the slaughter of Oblast’s entire bovine herd and a considerable part of its dairy stock. Animals owned by private households were “temporarily appropriated”, never to be seen again.

In 1959, officials claimed to have fulfilled Larionov’s meat leap forward by producing 150,000 tonnes of meat.

Reality hit in 1960 when production fell back to 30,000 tonnes.

Comrade Larionov was stripped of his job but got to keep his Hero of Socialist Labour medal.

Australia is heading for a Soviet-style mega-disaster on an even larger scale thanks to the single-minded zealotry of our Labor Energy Minister Blackout Bowen.

Labor Blackout Bowen plans to release countless billions of dollars of subsidies to persuade reluctant corporations to treble the National Electricity Market’s renewable energy capacity.

Yet it’s a goal that even Blackout Bowen must privately accept is unfeasible, given the global competition for scarce capital, planning delays and the growing community backlash.

Increasing wind and solar generation by two-thirds means covering two-thirds more of Australia in giant wind towers and solar panels.

It means building thousands of kilometres of new transmission lines, almost every kilometre of which will pass over someone’s land, messing up their business and their lives.

Mr Bowen wants to go further by building hideously expensive offshore windmills, but it is improbable any will be in place by 2030 when the reckoning is due.

The Minister’s only hope is to move the goalposts, which his department appears to be preparing to do in its annual Climate statement on Thursday.

We learn that under the helmsmanship of Mr Bowen, the NEM has hit new heights of “instantaneous renewable energy penetration”, peaking at 70 per cent in the third quarter of 2023.

Like Comrade Larionov’s record year of meat production, however, it pays to read the small print. The record was hit at midday on Thursday, September 21.

It lasted for just 30 minutes.

As the afternoon wore on and the sun edged gently towards Perth, the grid operators in the East Coast states called on their old friends in the coal sector to keep lights on.

Instantaneous renewable energy penetration was hovering at around 50 per cent just three years ago, bolstering hopes that it could reach 82 per cent by 2030.

However, if not, the Australian Energy Market Operator has another irrelevant set of statistics up its sleeve.

In its latest quarterly report, AEMO tells us that “instantaneous renewable energy potential” hit a record of 98.6 per cent in the half-hour that ended at 12.30 pm on Saturday, September 16.

Instantaneous renewable energy potential is the amount of electricity wind, solar, and hydro that could theoretically have been produced if the midday glut of sunshine hadn’t pushed prices so low that the energy producers had to pay the NEM to take it off their hands.

Spending billions of dollars to turbocharge investment in yet more unreliable junk energy will do nothing to solve renewable energy’s fatal technological flaw.

Businesses and households rely on electricity on demand 24 hours a day, not just at lunchtime.

Connecting more turbines and solar panels will push spot prices further into negative territory in the middle of the day while making hardly any difference in the evenings and overnight.

Battery technology is not advancing fast, nor are prices reducing fast enough to power the nation overnight, let alone during wind droughts that can last several weeks.

For all of Labor Blackout Bowen’s bravado, his claim that the grid can be made 82 per cent carbon-free without resorting to nuclear power is utterly delusional.

He might care to take notes during his visit to the United Arab Emirates for the COP 28 International Climate Fest this weekend.

Three years ago, the UAE had one of the dirtiest energy grids in the world, relying on gas and oil for 95 percent of generation, with just 5 percent coming from solar.

Today, it has three nuclear power stations in service and another under construction.

By 2025, nuclear energy is expected to produce 25 percent of the UAE’s energy.

It will be neither instantaneous nor potential energy but reliable, energy available around the clock.

It’s very hard to see a happy outcome with a total lack of honesty, integrity or simply regard for the laws of the land.

This is the China/Arab ploy.
They just keep lying because they will always call everyone else liars and themselves the only honest players in the game.
And it works, because sooner or later, they revert back to the original argument and claim everyone else is lying. Completely circular and has the emotional content of a five year old who claims “A bad man jumped through the window and ate little sisters biscuit.”
It will only stop when mum or dad give the kid a good slapping and tell them to stop lying.
Of course if mum or dad just want a quiet evening, they’ll let the kid get away with it -which means the behaviour will continue to escalate and get worse.
China and the Arabs are the 5 year old, and the behaviour continues to degrade.

For the record…I wasn’t attributing blame, just different reactions to crime.

The missus – nags and urges hubby to kill. Gets her wish. Suddenly has a fit of remorse, goes nuts, tops herself.

Hubby – like Hamas monsters, once you kill one, the rest is easy. Just keep killing anyone who gets in your way. And die still unrepentant of the terrible evil done to the innocent.

“Why a struggling Test opener gets to nominate his own retirement date. And why a player at the centre of one of the biggest scandals in Australian cricket history warrants a hero’s send-off?

Err, well, let’s see how that “hero’s send-off” plays out shall we?
Being a flat track bully, Warner has picked the series against Pakistan as an opportunity for some cheap runs to go out on.
And he may get them.
What I doubt he will get is the public adulation he and Candice think he deserves. The pre-series advertising (featuring some has-been actor affecting an Ocker accent) is pumping up the “farewell to legends” theme.
If it was DK Lillee, SK Warne, Jeff Thomson or Allan Border, advertising would be unnecessary.

Our household is composed of cricket “tragics”. We, too, cannot understand the adulation that Warner gets. For years we regarded him as a talented cricketeer, but not much more. In our opinion he is basically a One Day cricketeer – a slogger.

But the events of 2018 in Capetown meant something to us. It was not only a dark day for Australian cricket – it disgraced us as a sporting nation. We were not really surprised that Warner was involved, but we were staggered to find that Steven Smith was involved. We believed, and still believe, that none of the trio should have been permitted to play for Australia again. But there you have it…the world of today.

However, we were staggered to discover that a couple of our cricket loving mates, who we sat with at test matches at SCG for countless years, couldn’t understand “the fuss”!! But then, they are also woke b—–y Lefties… so maybe there is a connection…..”underdogs” or some such foolishness.

First Hamas fighters raped her. Then they shot her in the head

She had, he says, the face of an angel. Night after night Yoni Saadon, 39, wakes in anguish to the faces of women.

First, that of the young woman hiding next to him under the stage of the Supernova festival where he had been dancing to electronic music as the sun rose on October 7 and Hamas militants opened fire.

“She fell to the ground, shot in the head, and I pulled her body over me and smeared her blood on me so it would look as if I was dead too,” he said. “I will never forget her face. Every night I wake to it and apologise to her, saying ‘I’m sorry’.”
Read Next

After an hour, he peeked out. “I saw this beautiful woman with the face of an angel and eight or ten of the fighters beating and raping her. She was screaming, ‘Stop it – already I’m going to die anyway from what you are doing, just kill me!’ When they finished they were laughing and the last one shot her in the head.

“I kept thinking it could have been one of my daughters,” added the father of four. “Or my sister – I had bought her a ticket but last minute she couldn’t come.”

The horror did not end there. Hiding in bushes, he saw two more Hamas fighters. “They had caught a young woman near a car and she was fighting back, not allowing them to strip her. They threw her to the ground and one of the terrorists took a shovel and beheaded her and her head rolled along the ground. I see that head too,” he says.

Saadon, a shift manager in a foundry, told his story to The Sunday Times in a support area set up in Sitria, southeast of Tel Aviv, for survivors of the festival.

Three times a week survivors from around Israel get together with parents whose children were among those slaughtered. On Wednesday evening they gathered on sofas as people brought them beers and steaming bowls of vegetable soup, then went outside to sit round a firepit as the singer Rona Kenan strummed her guitar and sang ballads.

Volunteer therapists on hand included Bar Yuval-Shani, 58, who lost her only sister, Deborah, and brother-in-law, Shlomi Matias, both musicians and peace activists, killed on Holit kibbutz by militants who broke into their safe room.

“She was eight years younger but [it was] as if we were twins,” she said tearfully. “I held all her secrets and I miss her terribly.”

Deborah died shielding her son Rotem, 16, who was shot in the abdomen then hid for nine hours as fighters returned again and again, and Yuval-Shani guided him over the phone in how to treat himself.

Yoni Saadon’s account is one of several witness accounts of rape Yuval-Shani has heard from festival survivors, all of whom, she says, are “deeply traumatised”.

Eight weeks after the attack in which 1,200 were killed and 240 taken hostage, there is mounting evidence of widespread rape on October 7. Israeli police have begun their biggest investigation into sexual violence and crimes against women. “It’s clear now that sexual crimes were part of the planning and the purpose was to terrify and humiliate people,” says Shelly Harush, the police commander leading the investigation.

King of Jordan: Green Activists Must Be More ‘Inclusive’ of Palestinians ‘on the Front Lines of Climate Change’

From the Comments

– Solar panels and wind turbines don’t work in tunnels.

– “As we speak, the Palestinian people are facing an immediate threat to their lives and wellbeing. In Gaza, over 1.7 million Palestinians have been displaced from their homes. Tens of thousands have been injured or killed,”he claimed.

I guess it doesnt pay to be an Islamic Nazi.

– Exactly. I am beyond tired of the Palestidiots being panned as victims. They REFUSE peace and they REFUSE advancement of their society. They only want death to all Jews and the complete annihilation of Israel. They bring the misery upon themselves and REJECT any solutions.

– King Abdullah of Jordan: “So, my friends, as we meet here today to talk about inclusivity in climate response, let’s be inclusive of the most vulnerable: Palestinians, severely impacted by the war on Gaza,” he urged.’

Also: “This is a red line … no refugees to Jordan and also no refugees to Egypt,” he reportedly said.’

TRANSLATION: “Hey all you Western Green-Weanie Suckers… step up and take in these mongrels; do it for your ideology.

Jordan and Egypt don’t want them.”

I remember bringing up something about the seperation of powers ages back. One of our resident legal minds informed me that Australia doesn’t really have a clear seperation of powers.

Then recently I saw that video by David Starkey on the Brits and he stated something similar about the British system pre Supreme Court. Despite Montesquieu’s efforts British didn’t take it up fully.

My interest now, is why are governments shy of doing a dicky knee whip crack to the esteemed justices when they stray off the reservation, judges are falible. Courts get wrong at times. That’s for paliament to fix, even if the legislature has to pass laws to in this case protect the public and an expectation I have of elected officials to show some fortitude to do so.

New NZ Justice minister apparently mentioned if the judiciary don’t want to enforce the laws they swore an oath of office to uphold then they should tender their resignation or words to that effect. Nice to see some honesty for once and is long overdue here for some straight talking, debates or even discussions on public expectations of our officers at law.

Yes the judiciary needs to have independance but it needs accountabilty as well.

Netflix soldiers on trying to right the wrongs of history – such as there not being enough black people in European history.

After their…ahem…widely noted feat with black Cleopatra, next up is black Hannibal. Well, he was from Africa.

Apparently this is not a completely new thesis – that Hannibal was black, and it would be because they thought they had a story of a significant historical figure from Europe’s history, rather than an enduring interest in the ebbs and flows of fortune in the second Punic war.

It would seem the genesis of the myth is a series of coins showing the head of an African man on the obverse and an Indian elephant (small ears and rounded back) on the reverse. There is nothing on the coins to actually connect them to Hannibal, no inscription saying so, no crown, helmet, or other adornment suggesting especial status. Just a head.

Oh, and from what limited inscriptions there are, are in Etruscan.

The coins were minted in Etruria.

There are some Carthaginian coins purported to be not only Hannibal, but also his brother Hasdrubal and father, Hamilcar. The heads on those coins, each adorned as would be expected on three significant generals, are decidedly non-sub-Saharan.

If I was black – and saw through what Netflix was doing – I would be a bit pissed off that they thought there were no real historical black people worth celebrating.

It is funny to consider that a lot of younger people would reflexively despise the movie Zulu because the white colonialists won. And yet the depiction of the black Africans was as a brave and noble people. The film did not depict them slaughtering unarmed women and children, poisoning wells, or anything like that. Instead they were disciplined, courageous, and strategic – exactly the virtues being lauded in the British troops. Then finally at the end, when the Zulus leave, they salute the British as fellow warriors.

Sadly, such subtleties are lost to movie makers now. Which is why we got such ahistorical guff as ‘The Woman King’ which, by its very obvious departures from history, highlighted just what vile, cruel, and detestable people The Homies were – and for all their martial bravado just how outclassed they were by whitey.

NOT the lesson they were going for, I think.

Cons – has a weak character and lack of judgment, evidenced by being successfully pressured by a midget to not only cheat, but bring sandpaper onto the field of play and use it.

“I doubt this film would have changed my views on the conflict either. Like most people I’m aghast at Israel killing Palestinian civilians. I’ve visited the West Bank, seen how settlers grab Arab land, rain rubbish and dirty nappies down upon the market in Hebron. But none of this is relevant here. One universal principle transcends all else: rape as a weapon of war is a crime against humanity.”

The writer is trying to blame Jews for violence committed against Jews. Unbelievable.

As for Hebron, I’ve been to Hebron. If you think Jerusalem is tense, it is nothing compared to the tension in Hebron, the site of the Cave of Machpelah aka the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs (Abraham and Sarah are buried there). I remember feeling the that the sacredness and holiness of Hebron was more than profound than Jerusalem. But the tension in Hebron is palpable, scary. Having said that, here are some inconvenient facts for the mealy-mouthed writer of the above piece.

1. Until 1929, there had always been a tiny Jewish community in the city of Hebron. It was a desperately poor and marginalised community, outnumbered ten to one by Arab Muslims, and viciously persecuted by those same Arab Muslims, but despite the persecution, despite the forced dhimmi, Jews clung to life in Hebron, as Jews do. Why, because Hebron, with the patriarchs buried there, is ground zero of Judaism, Jewish history and Jewish life.

2. So, what happened in 1929? Well there was a pogrom, not dissimilar to what happened on 7 October 2023. In August 1929, Arabs rampaged through the old Jewish quarter, massacring Jewish men, women and children. There was no army to save Jews in 1929. At the end of the pogrom, some 70 Jews were dead, and their homes and synagogues destroyed. Those who survived vacated the city and were relocated to Jerusalem. Hebron was emptied of Jews, it became ‘Judenfrei’ which is what the Arabs wanted, and still want, along with their leftist allies. The tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs now has both a mosque and a synagogue, prior to the 1929 pogrom, Jews, who were regarded as “dirty” by the Hebron Arabs, were not allowed to climb the stairs to pray at the tombs of Abraham and Sarah.

3. Jews only returned to Hebron after the 67 war. It is worth remembering that between 1947 and 1967, when Jordan governed East Jerusalem including the Old City, and also governed Hebron, NO Jew, not ONE SINGLE JEW was allowed to live in the old city in Jerusalem or in the city of Hebron. It was Judenfrei. Synagogues were trashed and Jewish homes in Jerusalem and Hebron given to Palestinian Muslims.

4. In 1967, Zionist religious Jews returned to Hebron and restored a Jewish community in the city. Yes, these Jews in Hebron are militant, but no more and no less than the Arabs of Hebron who would exterminate the Jews at the first opportunity. This is why Hebron requires a large IDF contingent, to protect the “settlers”, even though those settlers are nothing of the sort, they are Jews who returned to live in a city that is the cornerstone of Judaism. There is huge animosity between the two groups, but that is because Hebron Arabs don’t want Jews living in Hebron, they don’t want Jews living in Jerusalem, they don’t Jews living in Haifa, they don’t Jews living in Tel Aviv.. The plain truth is that the Palestinian Arab Muslims don’t want Jews living anywhere, they want Jews gone, by any means necessary. “From the river to the sea” means just that, that ALL Jews and ALL Jewish life will be gone.

Marcus Harris and Duck Egg Joe from Quenthland have had their chances. Neither are in the category of Hayden who was dropped very early on, made a mountain of runs and returned to be one of the great intimidating openers of all time.

Henry Hunt from SA is a possible, although not yet as he has a very big front pad and leaves the wrong pills. Nikitaris and Hackney from NSW – well, Hackney is good but hasn’t been tested at level yet and consistently nicks off because he plays down the wrong line to decent bowling.

Ward and Jewell from Tasmania continually fluff their chances to score when they need to. Straya needs an opener for the next ten years, who needs to be stuck with – regardless of form – for at least three. Someone in the mould of an Alistair Cook, who you can build a top order around.

every painting and film that I have ever seen shows Jesus as a White Man.

If you go looking for them, you can find pictorial depictions of Jesus as everything from a black man to a Japanese. The early Christians in Rome depicted Jesus as the ram-bearer of pagan mythology.

On the one hand, one might criticise these as inaccurate representations. But on the other hand, they attest to the cross-cultural significance of Jesus, and that explains why Christians generally aren’t offended by such representations.

In India I’ve seen Jesus depicted as an avatar in traditional blue. We may have some reservations about that, but in India it immediately communicates that this is a holy man sent from God deserving of reverence; from that point a conversation can be had about why this particular historical avatar is different.

It’s interesting that the New Testament contains no description of what he looked like.
That being said, Mel Gibson’s The Passion did attempt to portray Jesus and the disciples as Jews of the period, even to their extent of the dialogue being in Aramaic.

I’ve mentioned before one of the Israelis I follow on twitter put up another telegram video of that stolen Israeli military jeep, (with yellow squiggles over the windows) surrounded by happy, filming gazans.
If you couldn’t figure out what was going on inside, especially after seeing her bundled into the jeep and two or three of her rapists getting in afterwards, well I can’t help you.
Sure if you were on telegram you could find it.
It should sicken anyone, sadly it doesn’t.
You don’t know how many on twitter demand that they be shown the rape videos.
Can they hear themselves?
As for the palimuppets suggesting that the video (at that special showing for journalists etc) of a heavily pregnant woman being slapped to keep her concious while they cut out her baby must have been old footage of the Mexican drug cartel cutting out a man’s heart, though they hadn’t seen it themselves (I have not seen it nor do I want to).
They could have been in the room with hamas and they would still deny it.
The purpose of terrorism is to terrorise.
They do it, and they film it, because in the past it was islam’s low cost conquering technique.

When you look at the footage, Naama is bleeding from the anus. It’s pretty clear Naama has been vaginally and anally raped by the Nazi Palestinian monsters. She’s also in a state of shock.

I should remind everyone here that is has taken nearly nine weeks for the UN to condemn the sexual violence of that awful day. I also note that maggot of a foreign minister of ours, the same one who was implicated up to the neck in the Lehrmann/Hoggins imbroglio, up to her neck in the Porter allegations, up to her neck in the harassment of Nicolle Flint when she was in parliament, has had little to nothing to say about the sexual violence committed against Jewish women on that day. She is a despicable hypocrite.

Believe all women, except Jewish women WHO’VE ACTUALLY BEEN RAPED.

And it’s the same for all the other so called feminist maggots that infest and infect this country, from scum such as Chlamydia Ford, Marieke Hardy, Van Badham, and all other mediocrities, ALL F*CKING HYPOCRITES. Remember Lidia Thorpe, complaining about Senator Van or whatever his name is. I note her silence about Naama Levy. But you see, these women, be it Wong, Ford, Hardy and so on are selective about sexual violence and assault. They don’t mind if those women who don’t fit into their ideological camp are intimidated, are threatened, are harassed, are assaulted, are raped, are murdered, are decapitated. WONG ET ALL ARE HYPOCRITES. I cannot begin to describe my visceral loathing for the left who’ve come out to defend, to justify, to trivialise the Nazi Palestinian violence of 7 October 2023.

I’ve just gotten home, I caught the bus back from the CBD, the bus was forced to detour because it seems parroting Jew hatred on Sydney streets every weekend now means everyone else has to be inconvenienced. Old Ozzie, I’ve seen various examples of the barbarism applied on Oct 7th, they came up in the side-bars sometimes when you clicked on other links in the first few weeks, and I don’t need to go searching for them now or looking at more: they’ve had their day searing into world consciousness. Others may disagree, but I’ve seen enough, and apparently not the worst. However, I am prepared to just go on sworn testimonies now.

The appalling and well-known photograph featuring Naama Levi can stand for all of the sexualised ferocity of Hamas barbarians. I think generalist sites like the Cat should leave anything more observational to the forensic professionals and the historians now. Carefully gathered testimonies and the already known photographs (on their way to becoming iconic) are best for memorialising at this stage.

Probably not suggested outside the back pages of The Worst Australian or talkback callers to 6PR.
Why not Dom Sheed opening the batting.
The parochialism of cricket commentators is something to behold.
Jim Maxwell was the worst. If anyone was struggling in the Test team it wouldn’t matter if logical substitute was reeling off repeat centuries or Pfeiffers in Shield Cricket for SA, WA or Victoria. Jim could be counted on to dredge up the name of some nobody from Sydney grade cricket to step in.
Exhibit A – Ed Cowan, (also a protege of Peter Roebuck).

The thumbs down icon has very limited utility except in jumping on trolls. Quite often you can’t be sure what the negativity is about and I suspect we have here thumbs down trolls who do it for fun. People with real objections to a comment should come in and say why. Thumbs up (upticks) are more helpful, as they can indicate an agreement or acceptance or merely act like a nod in conversation that keeps the ball rolling, saying little more than someone is listening and appreciative.

The purpose of terrorism is to terrorise.
They do it, and they film it, because in the past it was islam’s low cost conquering technique.
It worked not that long ago in Iraq, for a while, anyhow.

The thing is – in the terrorist rampage in Syria/Iraq it worked against IS. The footage of them lining their victims up to behead – & especially the terrible beheadings of the foreign western workers – shocked the western world & gathered military opposition.

Many westerners had forgotten what cruel bastards the militants are. This is why the photographs and footage are essential. It certainly deeply disturbed Elon Musk & completely changed his attitude. That may prove more important than people can imagine.

Sorry Lizzie. I understand why it is too much for you. But I am convinced that the evidence is essential to keeping support for Israel. They have enough ingrained anti-Semitism to contend with. This can be the antidote.

In any case, those poor women must NEVER be forgotten. Or put in the “Oh, I don’t want to look” basket. Because the anti-Zionists will not desist on denying it ever took place – or worse – claiming it is concocted by Israel.

Albanese government ‘betrayed’ every Jewish person in Australia: Rowan Dean – Sky News

P,

From the Comments

– I can understand why misinformed people might consider the so-called ‘west bank’ as disputed or occupied territory. But I am completely bamboozled when it comes to Gaza.

In 2005, Israel gave up Gaza to the Palestinian Authority under Abbas. All Gazan Jews were removed from their homes and resettled in Israel. Israel does not govern or occupy Gaza in any way.

They completely gave it up and pulled out. It was a beautiful place, and could have been a Mediterranean Singapore.

But it is now Hamastan.

– Albanese and Wong have been abysmal and are both unfit for purpose.

– No Arab nation has condemned the atrocities committed by Hamas, and none will.

This violence is called for in the Koran; the “holy” book of Islam. As Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s PM, said: “There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.”

There is no love in Islam, only hatred, and the atrocities will continue.

– UN should be defunded

– They have also betrayed every Australian in this now unlucky country

– Thanks for educating Australian people.

Lizzie:

Then we find out that the problem is intensified in aboriginal communities, with an article on Alice Springs showing how drastic the issue is within the aboriginal population, cries for more help with prevention as well as more ICU’s.

If you go and spend time in an Aboriginal Outback community, you quickly find the “community store” – read shop fortified with heavy gauge wire and roll-down doors – has their top selling items as 1) chips 2) hot chips 3) Coke 4) lollies and 5) roast chooks.

Frozen kangaroo tail makes an entry later down the list, but it often used as a weapon instead of tucker.

Add grog and drugs to the above and nothing to do – eg: no jobs – and it’s hard to see how the problem of diabetes can be fixed. Except as in the patented Top Ender suggestion: close it all down and everyone moves to town and assumes a normal lifestyle.

They don’t know about the almost 800,000 Sephardi and Mizrachi Jews who were expelled and driven from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Iran. They don’t know that there were always Jewish communities in Safed, in Jerusalem, in Hebron, even in Gaza, perhaps people here didn’t know that up until recently there was a Jewish community in Gaza. Bet nobody knew that, and when were the Jews of Gaza expelled, or let’s use contemporary parlance….ETHNICALLY CLEANSED? During the Arab riots of 1929, the same year of the pogrom in Hebron. The Gazan Jewish community dated back hundreds of years.

By the way, another inconvenient fact, Jerusalem had a Jewish majority decades before the state of Israel was established.

I’d like to keep a level of seriousness surrounding the use of it. I’ll admit that I may be over-thinking that.

It’s not about squeamishness on my part, Vicki. At fifteen (believed to be 17), and untrained, I worked as a dogsbody in a medical surgery in Sydney’s underserviced West, where some very bloody accidents were left to my care ’till the doctor arrived’. I cleaned them up as per instructions for when he did get there. At twenty-one in New Guinea I’ve looked after women with their breasts nearly cut off by machetes as payback, taking one of them on the three-hour trip to the nearest hospital. I’ve been at my own four and other childbirths. And I’ve never been too concerned about doing a bit of home-made veterinary surgery either. So, no fainting couch needed. Just a concern about getting things done right, thinking maybe the Cat is not the place for these pics at this stage. Up to Dover anyway, of course.

My girls chose alpha types, both strongly Christian and Jewish. Committed family men, loving, faithful and true.

The New Broom, a chip off the old block, whisked a beautiful young lady off her feet and would lay down his life for her without a second thought.

This is what women need in men. All the other stuff is window dressing and hogwash.

Indoctrinated, severely edumacated girls are looking at the wrong manflesh. And their indoctrinators, on the masculine edumacation side, are making sure that’s all they will ever get.

Why women invented husbands, a most useful technology

Parnell Palme McGuinness Columnist and communications adviser

Once upon a time, a very, very long time ago, paleo-feminists meeting at the Annual Paleo-Femintern had a kick-arse idea. Early humans had tamed wolves and turned them into their drooling diddy-dums. They’d tamed panthers and turned them into purry little beggars. How about trying it with men? And that was how they invented husbands.

OK, so just as with the taming of wild animals, the process, in reality, would have been less a committee decision and more incremental. But as with many of humankind’s great inventions, husbands can be so useful that in hindsight the idea seems obvious.

Well-functioning husbands share an equal investment in the success of any offspring. Women ravaged by giving birth to infants with absurdly big frontal lobes through a bipedal pelvis need support to continue to nourish the baby with their bodies. While women are immobilised breastfeeding, devoted men have their hands free to bring food. Well-fed baby brains grow smarter. Husbands, it turns out, weren’t just a nice to have; their contribution literally fed the burgeoning intelligence of our species. Husbands are an incredible technology with a clear “use case”, as software developers would say.

Author and academic Cat Bohannon gives an account of how our species evolved, which puts women, the key means of reproducing it, front and centre. In Eve, a rollicking feminist rant of an

evolutionary tale, Bohannon overturns the male-centric view of just about everything. It was gynaecology, she argues, not the Stanley Kubrick vision of chimps building tools of war, that marked the move to a more modern hominid.

The case is compelling and the book is a must-read for anyone in possession of female plumbing. But in light of the way husband technology has been glitching lately, it was the section on family structures that felt particularly important.

Wife & I were in stiches listening

Bohannon describes a theory of how husbands were “invented” based on the behaviours and group structures of our ape cousins. She explains amusingly how in some matriarchal primate societies, males have been observed carrying around babies “as a kind of adorable bodyguard”. The strategy is simple: if there’s a biff between males and one is holding a baby who knows him, the baby will scream at the unfamiliar male. The female monkeys then come rushing to the aid of the baby and, by extension, the male holding it. I’m never going to look at a man carrying a baby in a papoose in the same way again.

And there was another perk. “The helpful guys got laid,” Bohannon writes. “A lot. That means males who had friendly relationships with females and offspring were more likely to pass on their genes. So they got an advantage by being aggressive with other males, but they also got an advantage by changing out those behaviours with the females who were really running the place.”

Sounds pretty good. But here enters a very hominid problem: in matriarchal societies, competitive females were a significant problem for the powers that were.

So early women struck what Bohannon calls a devil’s bargain. “The devil’s bargain wasn’t just a deal women made with men; it was a deal they made with other women,” she argues. Women invented sexist social behaviour such as slut-shaming to go alongside monogamy as a way to control conception. It helped space births so that the leaders’ babies got a good share of the resources.

Blackout Bowen

Very disappointing to hear the Dean and the panel claiming this morning that Teats Peanuthead was some sort of possible successor to the albansleazey – “He’s been really sensible and low profile”.

Which would be due to the fact that he’s busy bonking his latest mistress.

A certain Miss Personage.

Area now known as Rimal, the Brighton of Gaza.

The Brighton of Gaza.
An interesting comparison:

Brighton: the gay capital of the UK.

The IDF is doing the thriving Gazan QWERTY community a favour by reducing the height of tall buildings.

Well der’ Mrs Stencho Pantyhose, please keep up with the posts and events.

As I stated earlier, all the paintings that I have ever seen and the films that have ever been made (that I know of) show Jesus as being WHITE. So, please show him as a person from the geographical region that he came from. Not much to ask for for some historical ‘truth’.

Not a big ask these days when Disney and Netflix are showing loads of other historical figures as being black/brown –

Cleopatra and others just lately.

Maybe SBS and the ALPBC could show Bruce Pascoe as being black/brown. Now there’s a thought.
