WTF has Gaza got to do with Australia? Not our circus, not our monkeys.

When a Labor MP does the wrong thing Labor toughs it out until it eventually blows over. This has happened many times.

A LNP MP in the same circumstances usually loses his or her job.

Former NSW Liberal premier Barry O’Farrell lost his job over a bottle of wine.

A Labor M.P. keeps one of the working class, waiting for hours, while they get on the looney juice with their mates?

They said it would never happen. Now, ABC insiders make the bold case for the broadcaster being privatised – and it could happen sooner than you think

All those American taxpayers’ millions and billions that went to Bishop Mariann Budde, Bill Kristal, President Zelensky and numerous others are coming to light. With Trump’s second inauguration the US has entered the age of unveiling. I’m looking forward to many more such secrets being revealed. And the Democrat, and some Republican, senators thought they had Trump where they wanted him with the confirmation hearings, I think this is Trump’s return fire.

Yep especially as all the sackings (apart from coming ATC blokes and blokettes – who could be made to resit the original test before it was dumbed down) are coming form the ACTING bosses as the Dems slow walk the confirmation process. Sweet!

Interesting thread on the US’s fairly high current de minimus import rules.
685 million under $800 items were shipped to the US in 2022.
Add that to the fantastic deal that China gets under the UPU.
I ship to the US occasionally, via a famous site, everything gets picked up for US state sales taxes, and in Colorado only? a ‘retail delivery fee’

Cost of car was apparently $750. Pull the other one, I priced taxi’s to Sydney AP from Singleton at $500 upwards. Private cars worse. That’s without the wait time.

Even to Newscastle/Port Stephens AP was a cool $150 one way mates rates with a driver I got to know.

They are still speaking BS. Don’t care this is still fraud, where’s ICAC.

From the Daily Mail. Maurice Newman will have his portrait turned to the wall down at the A.B.C. bunker…

Maurice Newman, who was chairman of the ABC from 2007 to 2012, tells me the national broadcaster needs to be sold off because it no longer serves its purpose to unite Australians.
‘The ABC was established to encourage cultural unity in a sparsely populated country,’ he says.
‘Today it exists to divide the nation at every opportunity and to scorn those values and heritage which give us the freedoms we enjoy today.’
The ABC was found to have breached impartiality standards with a Four Corners program on Fox News and Donald Trump presented by Sarah Ferguson
Newman, 86, says the ABC isn’t deserving of taxpayer funding, arguing it should be a subscription service for those who pay for its niche offerings.
‘Its appeal is so narrow it should become a subscription service. Either way, no taxpayer money,’ he says.

It’s not just the ABC (the Tele):

Prominent cricket journalist and broadcaster Peter Lalor has been dumped by radio station SEN midway through the tour of Sri Lanka, with the network’s boss confirming “different views” over social media posts relating to the Middle East conflict.

Lalor had been providing special comments for SEN during the first Test – as he has done regularly for several years – but was told over the weekend that his services would no longer be required.

Lalor claims regular tweeting and retweeting promoting the plight of Palestinians in Gaza and strident criticism of the Israeli Government was cited as a reason for his dismissal.

Ah yes. The Lattouf-inspired ‘nobody can fire me defence’ fails.

Again.

Outstanding.

“Haylen @johaylen in even more hot water about her abuse of Ministerial perks. Claims in @dailytelegraph that she used a Govt driver to transport her child to sport in Sydney from Caves Beach around 4-5 times. She is trying to tough it out. Not willing to “give a running commentary” on her actions. She forgets she is a servant of the public. We, her bosses, demand to know how often she has broken protocol. @ChrisMinnsMP says it was a lack of judgement. Is that supposed to give us confidence that her judgement is good when she is making decisions on our behalf? He’s kidding.”
She would have kept on doing whatever she wanted but hey girl, it’s just a harried mum juggling multiple responsibilities.

@JoeTruzman

For years, I have closely observed Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups, which had led me to a significant conclusion that I feel compelled to share.

Hamas’ most potent weapon is not its tunnels, arms, manpower or its use of human shields. It has mastered the art of deceiving, cheating, and manipulating to achieve its objectives.

What I have observed is disturbing: Hamas has skillfully convinced Westerners and the international community that acts of terrorism are a legitimate means of self-defense, all while portraying Israel as the aggressor. This calculated tactic has led many to perceive Hamas as a victim rather than the perpetrator of violence.

Furthermore, my work (look at my extensive timeline) has uncovered instances where members of Hamas’ self-proclaimed “political wing” have actively participated in or supported acts of terrorism. This also extends to Hamas government employees, members of NGOs, journalists, police, and ordinary civilians.

For instance, earlier today, I identified with a high degree of certainty that a judge in Hamas’ military court actively participated in carrying out attacks for Hamas during the war.

My findings over the years have led me to believe that Hamas is, in reality, a farce. Hamas has unequivocally demonstrated that achieving peace with Israel through negotiations is nothing more than a ruse.

Instead, the Islamist organization is at best merely engaged in lulls in violence to rearm and regroup, which is what is unfolding at present.

Hamas’ ultimate objective is to persist in carrying out acts of terrorism until it has defeated Israel. The devastating terrorist attacks on October 7th have demonstrated that Hamas can operate with impunity as long as it continues to deceive and manipulate Western nations, the international community, and the Palestinian population in Gaza.

If the world wants to see peace in the region, it must treat Hamas for what it is : A terrorist organization.

This is from American Thinker. The sentence I highlighted exactly describes my feeling about her.
Democrat Politicians and Preoperational Infantilism
Every word from her cioppino- and chardonnay-filled mouth prompted the question, “What is wrong with this person?”  Drugs?  Alcohol?  Presumably, but there was also a chilling disconnectedness and soullessness about Kamala Harris.

I think the dems might be right about RFK Jnr.
Bloke is a nutter.
However, as long as Trump doesn’t listen to him about anything but pharma and getting the lard out of the inhabitants of the country, he might be mostly harmless.

I have similar reservations about Tulsi. Again, no doubt she is a good bird, but you don’t shed decades of Democrat machine programming just because one day Hillary pissed in your beer.

And I’m suspicious of people who have apparent changes of heart directly after having their careers blocked.
Been burnt by those types in real life.
You can bet your arse that if either of them was offered redemption and positions by the democrats, it would be “so long, suckers”.
