In line with the graph above, my figures say that the proportion of Covid cases admitted to ICUs halved between the 1st and 2nd ‘waves’.
Vaccination? Nah, not even Trump worked that fast.
Guesses as to why, are now being collated. I’m open to all suggestions (except those involving nanobots).

Because the frail aged dying of covid in places like St Basil’s were never even admitted to hospital?
It should have been a scandal but only one (female) journalist wrote about it.
Yes. Not admitting cases is a contender.
I’ll file that under ‘Dan’s Indifference’ and ‘Victoria – Euthanasia’.
Rosie is there anymore to that story? It is pay walled.
Sorry I don’t have a subscription. It was reproduced on old cat.
Another possible reason. Improved treatment protocols based on real world experience around the world?
It’s know fact that viruses mutate to be less lethal and more contagious.
From other articles the number 1 symptom for delta variant is wait for it… a runny nose.
Could it be this experimental bioweaponised cold virus is evolving into … just another cold virus?
The global elites are not going to allow a small fact like this to interfere with their plan for a Great Reset into one world fascist government.
The reasons are 1. that they didn’t treat patients in the first wave. “Supported care” instead.
Whereas subsequently they began using anti- inflammatory drugs on hospitalised cases, so less of them got into ICU, and 2. as noted above, you expect each subsequent wave to be a milder version.
Those are my guesses.
Except the graph shows that they treated patients twice as much in the first wave.
The second part of your statement (milder versions) I agree with.
The “second wave” requires even less ICU than the second graph, but we have the beds (due to treating less actual illness) and there is political advantage to be had by admitting people to ICU (even if only a few actually NEED to be there)…it’s good for the 11am Fear Porn session.
“Except the graph shows that they treated patients twice as much in the first wave.”
No, it shows they were admitted to ICUs for supported care- oxygen, intubation, panadol, not treatment with anti inflammatories and anti virals.
Arky is right.
You really need a graph showing deaths and how many died without being admitted to hospital.
The death rates in particular facilities were quite high.
anecdotally, I know of a bloke who was an MD that was tied up in the COVID hot hotel system.
he quit … reason?
because he refused to continue routinely sedating what they call “guests” in these places.
