I had a disagreement with Arky. Just a point I’d like to make about his act of deleting comments. My argument wasn’t trolling as he claimed, but a legitimate counter to his assertion that chalk and tomatoes can be compared with respect to data analysis. For this disagreement he deleted my comment. I know now to never comment on any of his threads., however I’d like to suggest to you that this sort of crap isn’t good, especially for a new blog.

New freedoms for those who are vaccinated
If you’ve had both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, you will be allowed more freedoms from Monday 13 September. If you live:
outside of a LGA of concern, outdoor gatherings of up to five people (including children) where all adults are fully vaccinated will be allowed in a person’s LGA or within 5km of home
in a LGA of concern, households with all adults vaccinated will be able to gather outdoors for recreation (including picnics) within the existing rules. This is in addition to the one hour allowed for exercise, outside curfew hours and within 5km of home.
If you haven’t booked in for a COVID-19 vaccine, please book an appointment as soon as possible. If you’ve had your first dose of AstraZeneca more than 4 weeks ago, contact your vaccination provider to discuss bringing forward your appointment.

Above, I did click this morning on the African Swine Flu piece from Germany. It is frightening how these swine flu’s can take hold and spread so quickly, and then transfer species to humans. Pigs and humans are quite alike as omnivores, many similar elements physiologically, and of course we eat heaps of pigs too. When you see the intensive breeding farms as in that vid the possibility of disease outbreaks is obvious. And they are creating genetically modified viruses to use in experimental vaccines too. Always worrying stuff. I scared myself reading Matt Ridley’s “The Red Queen” – an examination of things that attack us, anything from viruses to fleas: “the fact that parasites and hosts are locked in an evolutionary arms race … Parasites and their hosts are locked in a close evolutionary embrace.
