Uniformed cops in relatively modest numbers at parliament house, Flinders Street station, and QV Markets / CFMEU HQ. More plainclothes out than usual, taking pains to be conspicuous. It’s no excuse, but clearly the message is getting through to the police that they’ve well and truly crapped the bed.
