Rukshan’s live feed walking around the city is deeply disturbing.

Every citizen is stopped and asked for their papers, surrounded by a number of millennial VicStasi.

This will be followed by that tilty-headed grinning idiot mayor, Sally Crapp, imploring people to come back into “our vibrant, multi-culti most liveable evah” city centre.

Yes, I’m sure they told you lots of stories about the Ustaša.

Actually, my mother was so traumatised by her life under communism that she needed to talk about it and convinced herself that it was OK to make her life stories my bedtime stories.

After all, I was a crippled kid only given 5% chance of ever walking, so she figured (rightly as it turned out), that I should know to be grateful for any life, no matter how hard.

Being the crippled kid, I couldn’t escape the rooms when the old men got into their very heated discussions of what was evil & what was justified warfare.

I grew up knowing that evil often put on the nicest front and to thank God for hard men who did hard things for the sake of the weak & unvalued by all but God.

And it isn’t only the police that’s been stacked with far-left activists…it’s the judiciary.

You can thank God that Pell, for his appeal, had Weinberg on the bench, since retired. The HC decided to hear Pell’s case only due to Weinberg’s dissertation.

Most Americans feel an amity with Australians and it bothers us to see them oppressed by the jaws of tyranny. Covid has been used as an excuse to cancel their freedoms. They no longer have freedom of movement. They are tracked, monitored, controlled, and insulted. Their freedom of speech is squelched. And, of course their firearms were confiscated. I doubt there was anyone anywhere near that Taskforce who was anything but “whatever it takes” to get Pell.
I strongly believe the reason the media star of the show wilted under cross-exam and had trouble deciphering his/her/ze’s notes is because of the crippling fear that the back-channel communications between Plod, media, ambulance chasers and Mr J might be tumbled.
Let’s just say there was one person on that taskforce who was fair-minded. Assume that person pipes up at a meeting one day and says, “You know, J’s account is wobbly for reasons A, B and C”. Next day J’s statement would be amended to paper over the cracks and said officer would be processing speeding fines in Horsham.

Why should this be? They have too much to lose – treachery, Big Pharma graft and the number of deaths & injuries these “vaccines” are going to cause. We have been betrayed on an unimaginable scale by those whose job was to protect us. If we prevail, sacking etc will not be sufficient nor acceptable to all those damaged by these scum.

The report comes as Biden is pushing his party to pass a massive $3.5 trillion bill that has been widely criticized as a leftist wish list, which comes as inflation rates have skyrocketed under Biden’s presidency. The report also comes as Biden is trying to beef up the IRS by $80 billion to crack down on what he claims are people not paying their taxes.

It is likely that, throughout the next decade, well over 200 million people will be taking the drug annually or semi-annually, via innovative globally-coordinated Mass Drug Administration (MDA) programmes. Indeed, the discovery, development and deployment of ivermectin, produced by an unprecedented partnership between the Private Sector pharmaceutical multinational Merck & Co. Do this stuff has a long and ugly history in the time after left wing revolutions.

The psychiatric incarceration of certain individuals was prompted by their attempts to emigrate, to distribute or possess prohibited documents or books, to participate in civil rights protests and demonstrations, and become involved in forbidden religious activities.[10] In accordance with the doctrine of state atheism, the religious beliefs of prisoners, including those of well-educated former atheists who had become adherents of a religious faith, was considered to be a form of mental illness that required treatment.[11][12] The KGB routinely sent dissenters to psychiatrists for diagnosing to avoid embarrassing public trials and to discredit dissidence as the product of ill minds.[13] Highly classified government documents which have become available after the dissolution of the Soviet Union confirm that the authorities consciously used psychiatry as a tool to suppress dissent.[14]

I find this very difficult to link to monetary policy so as to devalue the debt. I see it as an intrusive way to link people’s spending habits and income matching. It’s extremely intrusive and I don’t think it would pass the congress.

No, I don’t think so. Not the butt.
I reckon he drove the muzzle of his weapon into the blokes back. It hurts a whole lot more, and likely to do more damage.

These cops seem to be taking it rather personally that their ‘authority’ is being challenged. In reality, they are only just becoming aware of the differences between policing a supportive community, and suppressing a resistive society. The resourcing requirements are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Here’s one for the list. Dog act.

Though whatever happened prior to this has not been recorded, my first impression is that these tactics are for the purpose of intimidation. Why not handcuff the bloke if he is to be detained (it’s hard to see, but it doesn’t look like any attempt was made to pin his left arm which he placed behind his back after he was kicked in the shoulder)? There were two officers present, so one could have shouldered his weapon, and the other apply the handcuffs.

I think Mater could be correct about the officer to the left (as we view the scene) stabbing the bloke with the muzzle rather than the butt of his firearm too. Forgive my ignorance, but is there any potential for an accidental discharge?

Seriously, WTF is wrong with you?

My grandfather, a very good farmer, got the family out of the Ukraine a year before they were locked down to starve.

Before that he fought against the Red Russians.

Half of his life was fighting against Communists, Fascists, Nazis, Socialists and other evils, from across eastern Europe to the West.

He was a hard but good man, tried & tested in his heart & judgement, in a rolling hell on earth.
He earned such respect that when settled in Australia even old enemies came to him for his judgement on intractable problems, knowing it would be sound & just.

Yet, as I’ve mentioned on the old cat, the only kids we weren’t allowed to play with were the Croatians.

So you see, it’s because of my real world experience and what I learned from my immediate family, that I don’t care what brand or label people parade themselves around under, when they behave like what you can’t say in Canada, I see what you can’t say in Canada and trust them even less than those who hire themselves out.

Victoria Chief Health Officer, Brett Sutton, Calls Anyone Concerned About Untested Vaccination Side-Effects Irrational Whack Jobs
    September 24, 2021 | Sundance | 58 Comments

To give you an idea of the elitist mindset within the governing authority of Victoria, Australia, consider this statement by Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton about the vaccine protestors in Melbourne. If there was ever a case study in what failed stewardship looks like, Brett Sutton would be the poster boy.

Keep in mind, there was ZERO public discussion, ZERO public debate, ZERO public input and ZERO transparency within the state government about what they were planning and concocting behind closed doors. Additionally, the government did not permit a single person a seat at the table to raise any objection to the forced vaccination protocol, and none of the concerns expressed by a multitude of international vaccinologists or experts who addressed alternatives to the vaccine were permitted to be voiced.

Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton did not permit a single voice in the room to share any other approach to the jab mandate. Now he declares that any citizens who have valid concerns about efficacy and long-term consequences are “irrational whack jobs.” WATCH:
    .
If you do not agree with the central command authority and the Ministry of COVID Compliance, you are an irrational citizen who needs to be culled from society. Where have you see that type of outlook and worldview expressed before? Yes, it is the exact credo of the Fabian Socialist Society.

The relationship was shaky anyway as it has been on life support for more than a decade but the frosty reaction this week to any kind of nuanced discussion might see it’s status moved to terminal. Or even deader than the proverbial dead parrot.

  116. Pretty revved up right now.
Walking the family and as we were about to cross a side street a car zipped in front of us turning left from the main road into the side street.
I yelled “You’re supposed to give way”, And we started walking on.
Then I thought “Fuck it”, turned around and walked up the side street were the dude had parked outside his house to ensure he heard the “You’re supposed to give way” from a slightly closer range as he got out of his car.
Then a guy appeared at the driveway screaming at me not to yell at his son, and that it’s only give way at a pedestrian crossing and that I was a dickhead.
After some back and forth yelling “Go and read the road rules” “You’re an idiot”. I went home, printed off the relevant rule and shoved it in his letterbox.
Cockhead. No wonder your boy doesn’t know when to give way with morons like you.
Tomorrow I’m going to walk up there in the daytime to see what this berk looks like.

So much for mixing hyperbole crap with reality and not understanding the difference. That’s why you live in a conspiracy filled world.

    Subtlety isn’t her strong point.

  118. Looking forward to your comments on the latest ‘let’s send solar power from WA to Singapore’ project.

Johanna – I’ve not commented on it since last time I commented on it, on Old Cat. I think it just might have the worst NPV of any proposed industrial project ever. Which would be an achievement.

On the other hand as I recall the same people are pushing synthetic green ammonia as a fuel, which is so totally bonkers that my eyes cross whenever I see the idea touted. (I have costed an ammonia plant and worked at two sites which had one: one by reforming the other by electrolysis.)

The total lunacy stalking the land nowadays is scary, economic and otherwise. There’s still nothing happening in climate either. Arctic sea ice minimum for example, which usually happens around second week of September, is highest for over a decade. And the trend is clearly up, not down.

  119. Joyce really is the ultimate chameleon phony. They whole political class seems to have decided it can stop pretending and go for full on violent repression. Great resets don’t reset themselves. The stench of betrayal is thick and they don’t care.

We are not being told the big picture and we are not going to be told the big picture for obvious reasons.

These 80% targets are not entirely for our “benefit”, nor for big pharma.

These 80% targets are a signal directly to china.

This is why they don’t care about the side effects and are keen to lower the age for vaccination. There’s many competing agendas here.

  120. the greatest corruption of a book to movie I have ever seen was “Dune”.

There is no way to convey Herbert’s thoughts to film.

Plenty of film that was encapsulated in 1970’s star wars.

  121. You know, one of the only reasons to stay in this country is that Aussies have that screw you attitude to anyone who wants to tell them what to do.
    That means:
(1). People stick loudly to their guns even when they know they are completely in the wrong and you end up bellowing at morons in the street.
(2). They don’t take politicians and rules seriously and I therefore thought they’d never give in to tyranny.
If (2). is no longer true, then there is no reason to stick around and put up with (1). and I might as well move to bloody Canada.

  122. Since I’m here, and since it is no sillier than what is occurring around most of the country right now, I’ll tell a small evening tale.

Made a wild creature very happy in the last half hour: a graduate of the Cafe. He is a male brushtail possum, who was lurking near my front door. He knew me very well despite not being allowed anywhere near here for maybe a couple years. Completely trusting. So I gives him a slice of bread, and then, after he voraciously engulfed that, a carrot. I got a look of such gratitude in return it made my heart melt.

Life is hard for young male brushtails. They have to traipse huge amounts of territory in hope of finding a willing female, then get driven off afterwards. Never well fed. Dodging powerful owls. This one looked like a body builder, stripped muscles and no fat at all. A little unnatural kindness is all I can offer.

  123. Been at the club drinking piss most of the day. Maskless. Never Q-Coded in. Same as everyone else in the joint.

Biggest discussion was how the boys get home without getting pulled up by the plod and tasered or copping a rubber bullet to the back of the head.

Breathalyzers are the least of our worries.

  124. You know, one of the only reasons to stay in this country is that Aussies have that screw you attitude to anyone who wants to tell them what to do.

I was sitting at a bus stop a few years ago, and a little girl of about four came past and stopped and looked at me. So I said “Hello horrible.”
She said: ” I’m not horrible. You’re horrible!”

So I said “Are you sure? I knew one of us is horrible, I thought it was you.”

She said “No, it’s you!” and danced off, laughing.

Great kid, and as long as we have little girls who can stick up for themselves as she did, we’re OK.
