I can’t keep up with the rules.

That’s the whole point. You don’t know what you’re “allowed” to do so you do nothing. People just can’t afford to be fined.

The Premiers don’t get a free ride just because ScoMo has abrogated his responsibilities as PM. These *rsehole opportunists have turned their states into private fiefdoms overnight.

Bit of a hypothetical given I’m in WA but I don’t understand why people don’t take a leaf from the backyard tabbouleh sector and simply ignore the laws. Much like I do when we are asked to turn off the air conditioner in summer to save the planet.

Megan here was noticing sleep disturbance too, Tinta, and so am I. Others too I suspect.

My sleeping has improved as I’ve gotten older – not sure if that’s normal (?).

A few tips, fwiw…

Retire 🙂

Get some physical exercise every day if possible. If I don’t work in the garden I go for a longish walk.

Avoid screen time for several hours before going to bed.

Try Valerian or if that’s too strong Swisse have a Valerian free tablet called Relax and Sleep which includes hops -a well know soporific! – and magnesium – a muscle relaxant – and a couple of other herbs.

A bed time ritual is advised; stick to it as we are creatures of ritual. Mine includes a prayer which helps me to unload whatever is troubling me onto a greater power, which for me of course is the Triune God into whose Name I was baptised.

“You’d think a Proudly Boastful Jewish woman would worry about having such friends in this age when Jews aren’t even safe from Police in their very Orthodox Melbourne suburb (where my grandchildren’s family live and they aren’t safe to visit) … oh but childless, politically active people whipping up hate mobs against a grandmother (who’s immediate family includes Buddhists, Catholics & Practicing Orthodox Jews), that’s just fine … and if they can go further & it directly benefits them … like bitter barren women with no skin in the game who denounce whole families amongst their own people, to save themselves from the same fate …”

Mrs Nong reads, follows and links to anti-Semites on social media. Yet now she claims her family includes “Orthodox Jews”. Geez, the story getting wilder.

Mrs Nong is okay with Jew haters so long as they’re anti-vaxxers. And let me tell you, the site she linked to on Discord is particularly unsavoury in its rabid Jew hatred.

Hey hold on, ssr. That’s a hit below the belt, literally. And a terrible completely unfounded accusation to make to a Jewish woman. Your extended family may be like mine, encompassing a wide range of religions and ethnicities, as well as socio-economic backgrounds, and like me you may be proud of that, but no need to hit out as I’ve bolded above.

Think about what you have just said. The old ‘Jews give away other jews to save themselves’.
That’s a perfectly horrible slander, a meme maybe you’ve picked up from some of the Nazi sites you link to? I’m sure you can’t mean it to come out as it has, but be more careful how you express things.

Good.

It would be better if it was 99% unpaid.

No end in sight for WA hotel quarantine as state tries to recoup $40 million in unpaid bills

Its darkly humerous.

Lefties spent decades squealing about unsuccessful asylum seekers having a bill for their accommodation lodged when they were deported (the instrument of the owed money made them easier to flag for preventing an attempted reentry). The money was never actively chased.

Yet the same principle doesnt apply to our own citizens.
Locked down by state decree they must be charged full dollar for the ‘privilege’.

Heres the level of certainty WA is operating under.

WA is owed about $40 million in unpaid hotel quarantine bills and there is no end in sight, Health Minister Roger Cook has told a budget estimates hearing in Parliament.

“It will be the exact length of an average piece of string,” Mr Cook said when queried by opposition leader Mia Davies how long he expected hotel quarantine facilities to be open.

“We don’t know what’s going to happen over the next six months.”

Ms Davies asked Mr Cook how he had “budgeted for that piece of string”.

They make all these “agreements” in his illegal “national cabinet” “sure morrison sure, ok we’re all agreed we’ll do this plan”, then they go out and immediately move the goal posts and beat the shit out of him. Instead of taking them on he gives them everything they like then goes and signs us up to war with China hoping to distract Australians being held captive by lunatics he deliberately elevated to more powerful than himself.

I love that the cartoonists have taken to depicting Biden with an ice cream.

This is not some attempt to maliciously exaggerate some small momentary thing and use it to mock him – like Tony Abbott’s red scungies. Biden has repeatedly had his photo ops wandering about with an ice cream.

It actually makes sense for him to do this. He simply does not have the mental wherewithal to remember a role to perform. Better to let him play himself and manage the scenery around him.

Like the photo of him sitting at the table watching events unfold in Kabul. People noticed that the clocks on the wall showed the wrong times – Moscow and London differing by three hours when at the time it was actually two due to the UK observing ‘Summer Time’ which Moscow did not – the time difference should have been two hours. It was an old photo. I would guess early in his Presidency when the full extent of his decline was being realised they plopped him in a chair and told him if he looked at the blank screen nanny will be in with some pudding. A change of shirt or jacket and more photos so he doesn’t look exactly the same in all of them and presto!

As time goes by his wits are retreating like a spent wave on a beach, the last and highest line the water reached as it rushed in is also the first abandoned and like the initial charge of surf in reverse. So Biden’s mind has slipped back to where it was when he was perhaps five. The years lived between then and now are lost as if they never were. He dodders around, an eighty year old ‘five year old’ licking ice creams with the occasional spat when he thinks people might be being mean to him or he can’t have what he wants.

What’s happening, unfortunately for QLDers who believe we’ve escaped the tyranny down south, is QLD Labor, (probably WA too), is now acting as a boat anchor to drag this stuff out into the election cycle next year.

We’re not all sitting fairly pretty up here because of the divine benevolence of these Labor premiers.

Morrison knows the election looms and that will be the first time he has to face proper gloves-off scrutiny about all that has transpired, that the media has kept its powder dry during the panic but will go to town on behalf of Labor in the election. He’s panicking that this won’t all be done and dusted long before then, which is why he gave Gladys the green light to go total lunatic on the last Liberal power-state in Australia and get NSW vaccinated and finished yesterday at any cost.

Everything that’s happening now is political. Who is even pretending it has something to do with public health anymore?

Twostix you surprise me.

These globalists need naming.
And I’m not talking about calling them out, I’m talking about putting a name to the lot of them.

The cat has always been ahead of the pack.

We know the agenda of the WEF.
It’s global socialism, with them in control.
We know the UN and the WHO are run by communists.
We know our senior pollies and swamp monsters are their troops.
These are facts.

We need to name them so we recognise an enemy,as they may be different organisations but they are purely just commos working together to bring in, however way they explain it, it’s just old fashion evil communism taking the opportunities presented by the digital revolution to destroy the west and take seriously tyrannical digital control.
It may be under the phrase build back better, or agenda 30, or the new green deal, blah blah.
The Davos mob are the UN and the UN are the Davos mob.
From Klaus to Fauci, to our own WEF awarded Greg Hunt, From the minders of Greta, they need to be lumped together so as to be ruthlessly mocked.

I suggest the CCC or a bunch of C’s.

The Communist Climate Cult (or Corporation)
So for example, when talking about the head of the UN, it would be senior CCC leader, Guterres as his new title.
People would like to put them together, and they need to be collectivised, as it is what they do to us.
Just suggesting the name, CCC, but as long as we all decide to group them in and then we can attack easier.
They’ve been pretending to be separate orgs to long.

If it saves just one septuagenarian life its worth it….

Parents and carers were asked about the mental health of their children, and reported they had seen the largest negative impact on the mental health of those aged five to 18 years, while there were fewer concerns for children aged two to four.

Co-author of the study, Prof. Nicholas Biddle, said 71% of parents and carers of young people aged 15 to 18 reported worsening mental health conditions for their children.

“A lot of this is due to the ongoing impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic and in particular extended lockdowns,” he said.

Covid is a threat to Australia’s children – and not only through infection
Read more
“Compared to other surveys earlier in the pandemic, these negative mental health impacts have clearly become a lot worse in their eyes. And it’s across the board for most children.”

The analysis shows 61.8% of parents and carers with children aged five to nine think their kids had worsening mental health conditions, while 63.4% with children aged 10 to 14 said the same.

People are locked up, seeing their kids deteriorate and still licking the hand that is inflicting this treatment.

In 100 years it will be a fascinating research field.

I think twostix is right. This is all politics now. Public health is the patina.

It always has been, it is just more nakedly obvious now.
One example.
Every time Hunchback gets in the shit (which is often) he bleats about Federal funding and/or Federal vaccine supply.
As it becomes obvious vaccine supply is now adequate, the push starts to vaccinate younger and younger age groups. There is no medical case for this, even under their own flaky guidelines, but it is being done to create an artificial vax shortage to hit the Feds with.
I predict by Christmas there will be “growing calls” to vaccinate cats, dogs and goldfish to soak up supply.
Hunchback’s mention of ‘boosters’ again has no medical basis. It is just a plan to accelerate vax consumption and create a shortage.

Ecclesiastes is the most important book of the bible right now.

If you’ve read it before, when times were good, and thought it was all miserable emo doom and gloom, go read it now and it will make total sense, it unlocks itself, it’s relieving.

Plus it has probably one of the nicest pieces of prose in the entire world in my opinion: Ecclesiastes 12.

melatonin works. Don’t use it for more than a few days as its hard to get off as it suppresses natural production. Less is more with melatonin. Order it from the US.

There is high dose valerian at chemists. GABA combined with valerian is pretty good but needs to be taken for a few days to have noticeable effect. As mentioned magnesium, blue light blockers all help.

If none of the above work, then old fashion sleeping tablets by prescription. I find the new ones like stillnox are hypnotics and make me hallucinate. Temazepam is fairly mild but works well.

Liberty Victoria have issued a statement about the protests.

Their main problem??

Stanton said Liberty Victoria was deeply concerned about whether the response from Victoria police had been proportionate, and whether the use of such tactics for the current protests would be normalised in future protests outside of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Certainly, the police were confronted with some worrying conduct in these recent protests, but we’re very concerned that a militarisation of the police response could become normalised for future peaceful protests.

Kelly said the normalisation process was complex, and if the public supported some of the measures being used then that will factor into whether police feel they can use such measures.

“We’re expecting and hoping the police will roll back all of this crowd control technology very quickly and also not deploy it at all when it’s not needed,” he said.

“It should only be deployed when it’s absolutely necessary.”

So the taint licking scum of Liberty Victoria are apparently fine with the stuff being used on anti-maditory vax/lockdown protesters.

Bit of a hypothetical given I’m in WA but I don’t understand why people don’t take a leaf from the backyard tabbouleh sector and simply ignore the laws. Much like I do when we are asked to turn off the air conditioner in summer to save the planet.

My point exactly. But it would take large numbers to ignore the laws, otherwise they would pick people off one by one.

UK disability mobs new motto

If you can see the head, its still dead…

Woman with Down’s syndrome loses UK abortion law case
Heidi Crowter has argued allowing terminations up to birth if foetus has Down’s syndrome is discriminatory

A woman with Down’s syndrome who took Sajid Javid to court over the UK’s abortion law has lost her case in the high court.

Heidi Crowter, who brought the case alongside Máire Lea-Wilson, whose son Aidan has Down’s syndrome, and a child with Down’s syndrome identified only as A, had argued that allowing pregnancy terminations up to birth if the foetus has Down’s syndrome is discriminatory and stigmatises disabled people.

It looks impressive, Bern. It’s Apple TV, so I won’t be watching. Love Azimov’s books, though.

It’s emotional dreck for women.
If you read Asimov’s Foundation, the only emotions present are in the “evil” characters. The heroes all display calm emotionless logic and confidence in their resolution of events.
In fact one of the chief protagonists “The Mule” takes over the Empire via Emotional Manipulation, and is ultimately undone by his own emotions.
Asimov is pointing out the benefit of unemotional thinking over emotional thinking – something greatly needed in the current circumstances.

Heh. I was sent a text from a Rachel yesterday, on behalf of Mr Guy MP, asking for my thoughts and concerns. No Idea why I was canvassed, but I let her have it:

Thank you for asking.

• No medical apartheid
• Fear of job loss
• Medical discrimination at all types of venues on the cards
• People getting sick and depressed because of these onerous and illogical “Covid mandates”
• Suppression of freedom to protest
• Suppression of MSM and independent journalists
•Government treating us like idiots – because we actually DO know how many people are in hospitals and how few are on ventilators
• Government lying to us because we also know that vaccinated people are just as contagious as a COVID infected person
• Push for allowing religious services to be available – not 1 person has been infected at religious services
•End the lockdown. Look at Israel, 90% of population has been vaxxed and yet 60% of those are in hospital
• Everything about the State of Victoria seems to be unconstitutional
• We’ve heard that Andrews is pushing to mandate No jab-No job – what is Mr Guy MP going to do about it?
• Why don’t we see Mr Guy MP on media knocking the stuffing out of the government?
• Push for a vaccine that is ethically acceptable
• Get Ivermectin and Hydroxychloriquine back so that GPs can prescribe
• Stop being in lockstep with Labor and differentiate the Liberals
• Stop moving your policies further to the Left- that will not get the Libs votes
• Have the courage of your convictions.

Best wishes to all.

Needless to say, I’ll never hear from her again.

Freedom is individual, so collectivists have taken to directly trying to discredit freedom.

Freedom is selfish. How can you put your freedoms above the collective? Free speech is just license for racists and bigots and misogynists. As long as you say things that are good, sensible, and approved then you will be spared persecution so why so uptight about blanket free speech?

Your health is something you owe other people. Actually, now it is not so much that you owe your health to others, they outright own it. And they will tell you what you can do with it. You should have no say.

Well it is not a bad thing to look at the welfare of other people. It is just that at present people are in such a fevered state of panic that they are experiencing that phenomenon where their whole filed of vision contracts to a small circle and they see nothing else. They have lost sight of normal life. Of how relaxed they were two years ago, when they could wander anonymously into any shop they liked, buy what they want or buy nothing, just hop on a bus, pop into a restaurant – it was their own business and no one else’s.

Now it is like they are being followed by one of those TV private eye’s taking snaps and notes as they go unguardedly about their own business. Except they want us to take the snaps with our phones. They will also keep these records. Forever. Certainly long after you have forgotten. Drivers licenses and house purchases are decisions that it makes sense to record. These will be records of ordinary moments that they will not be able to account for afterward. And however benign a person might think that is – “It is no big deal. Why would anyone care.” – future uses might be less benign. After all, post Covid why would they bother collecting this information at all?

I have had friends visit from overseas. They have marvelled at the wide open spaces, the laid-back yet lively spirit, the casual egalitarianism everywhere. That is gone now and may well never come back, snuffed out by politicians in no way up to the jobs they have given themselves, bureaucrats who view citizens with contempt, and tens of thousands of petty-tyrant ‘Karens’ pestering their peers like Erinyes gone rogue.

So the question perhaps to put to people is not whether they are prepared to put up with these encroachments as they may well have been taken in by the idea that freedom is selfish. Instead to ask if they want to impose this on their loved ones, on their friends, their kids, and all the generations following. Let them think about how much they enjoyed the freedoms they grew up with and ask them if they want to deny that to everyone else.

If they are content to deprive them of what they enjoyed then they are probably beyond salvage.

So Im now supposed to get the vax “mandatory” for at least 2 reasons, one because I work in health, the other because I need port access.
https://www.mediastatements.wa.gov.au/Pages/McGowan/2021/09/COVID-19-vaccination-to-become-mandatory-for-Western-Australian-at-risk-port-workers.aspx

From 12.01am, October 15, port workers will need to have had at least their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine to access an exposed vessel, carry out a service in connection with an exposed vessel or interact with crew. These workers will need to be fully vaccinated by 12.01am, November 12.
….
….
Nothing in the Directions prevents unvaccinated port workers from embarking or performing work on an unexposed vessel or coming into close contact with people from an unexposed vessel.

It will be the responsibility of the employer to collect and maintain records of vaccinated workers.

The Exposed Port Worker (Restrictions on Access) Directions provide exemptions for unvaccinated police and emergency workers, as well as statutory officers performing their duties from entering an exposed vessel.

It may not be that simple. This is a comment I made at the Spectator about biden:

The only thing we need to talk about with biden is that he has been functionally senile for at least a year. Before he became senile he was stupid, arrogant, a sexual predator and one of the most corrupt politicians in Washington. In a just world this vile person would be in an orange suit and a straight jacket.

Having said that I watched Tucker yesterday who had found more video of biden saying he wanted massive migration to change the demographic of the US from the rotten white dominance to non-whites. The point is that as senile as he is there is still the chance his treasonous, profoundly radical anti-Western warped philosophy is controlling US policy. That is a scary thought since on top of everything else the Chinese effectively own him.

Biden is an extremely dangerous man, senile or otherwise.

Yes, the cat has always been out ahead, making connections, doing the math, BUT, it also remains fiercely wedded to trotting out the, “Shut Up! You Conspiracy Nut!”, when any of those connections get a little too close to some.

For instance, years back before the undercover videos showing the commercial trade of aborted baby parts for big pharma & biotech companies, JC & other used to spriuk for the wisdom of investing in Biotech.

Now to remind people that there are those who campaign for Jabs and are also invested in companies making fortunes by having them mandated around the world, is somehow in the top five worst ‘sin’s’ a cat can commit.

And even worse, just to mention the continued practice of babies being aborted to fulfil the orders of ‘medical science’ industries, is guaranteed to bring out a number of men & women viciously cackling about the also very real, child sex trade, because, what, somehow it’s acceptable to mock that international industry, just not the industry filling the world with human guinea pigs?

At times I wonder if the loss of posters isn’t primarily due to how many break into their mockery of actual conspiracies that we’ve now discovered have combined to removed the freedoms that Christendom had blessed the world with.

Here’s another thing to note about the Shrine brouhaha.
They say the Shrine is not an appropriate place for a political protest. I agree. To my mind, this was a protest for freedom, so I see it as highly appropriate.

If, however, they insist that the protest was political, what does that infer about this ‘health’ emergency?

People are so fucking ignorant and lazy. Guy wonders around a uni campus in Texas asking the brats about immigration and gets the usual handy wavy, oh yes let them all in because I’m so virtuous bullshit. Then he shows them the bridge where all the haitians are congregated and their tune changes to shock. So it’s a case of not bothering to get informed which admittedly is hard with the msm peddling bullshit:

And Waleed, to give him credit, acknowledges that 90 % of the initial turn out were genuine construction workers.

I don’t see why the portions make any difference whatsoever.
Are the construction workers the only ones who’s been told they can’t work or must have the jab? Not on your nelly.

There is a enormous amount of people out here in Victoria who are discontented with this, but they are not activists, they have no experience in this field of endeavour, and, up until now, have been picked off piecemeal by the Constabulary.

The construction workers are experienced in this stuff and they provided immediate critical mass for other normies to latch onto to, in order to have their voices heard. This is not a surprise. This doesn’t take away from the validity of the cause. In fact, having wide ranging representation should provide added cause for pause for Dan and his flunkies. It should be a signal to the ignorant critics that all is not well, and an undercurrent exists.

I suspect they know this, but to freeze and isolate elements in this movement suits the overall agenda.

Sitting having a beer, but totally on edge.

And I recall a visitor from Stasiland who was shocked by our liberties (that we once enjoyed).
Things like sitting on a beach without a permit.
But I digress.
The response of many East Germans had a lasting effect on police, stasi etc.
The response was a silent revolt. Spit/snot in the soup, stasi afraid to buy brown bread (don’t ask), urine in fuel tanks, strange tasting drinks, appliances and cars that would mysteriously cease working after their first use (even products from the west). Many from the soviet bloc still spend a long time examining their coffee and beer before they take the first swig.

I once got caught short while on gun picquet at Puckapunyal. Since you can’t just get up (and damned if I was gonna lie in it for another hour and a half), I used a Cups Canteen (My shaving one. Not my drinking one. I’m not an animal…).

It was damned cold that exercise, and I felt a slight twinge of regret when I threw the contents away and rinsed the cup out…

I hope he does, the rumblings suggest he might.

He won’t. He had an opportunity to stand up for freedom of movement and trade when Clive Palmer took the WA Government to court, Morrison backed down and did nothing.

He created this “national cabinet” and has become its prisoner, he is either an exceedingly stupid person or he’s been compromised somehow.

Killing off the disabled was also what Hitler used to get people used to killing off other ‘undesirable’ people, just as people are doing again today.

A Prime Minister has an obligation, a duty – something most of us don’t really operate under in our daily lives, solemn duty – outside of tending to our families, to guard and tend to the commonwealth and keep it intact and the way it was when he found it.

All the politics in the world can happen around it, tax rates, hospitals, who does what, what subs we buy, but the one thing he is duty bound to do is ensure that the commonwealth itself isn’t fundamentally altered, reduced or transformed without a referendum or election, or at least a discussion. It is a federation that was created and voted on to make the people on this continent one people, who can freely travel to any end of it without passports or blockades or hard borders, and to put a lid on the power of the then out-of-control often tyrannical colonial governments.

But that is exactly what has happened under his muddle headed wombat’s watch. The Australia that we knew from 1901 – 2019 doesn’t exist anymore and never will again. This new place, where premiers are mini-country leaders inside an EU style collection of nation states, apparently untouchable by the now EU Commissioner “damp rag” style PM, is not what we knew up until 2019, is a different uncharted country. We have no control over the shape of it, we are not taking part in the creation of it – which seems to be happening equal parts by accident and malicious intent, and will be here for 50 years or more unless it is aggressively reversed by the commonwealth right now.

Great comment, twostix. This has been a big part of the problem all along. Throughout this politidemic the Prime Minister has provided no leadership of the country, no defence of the Constitution and certainly no representation for the people against the petty dictators that are the state premiers and their shocking overreach.

Like all of them, he has outsourced his job to unelected “health” bureaucrats- none of this is really supporting health – and has acted as if he simply doesn’t care about the tearing up of the freedoms of citizens and and the removal of the rights of a free people to go about their lives as they see fit.

This should never/will never be forgotten.
