Politicians see this as an on/off thing. It is not.
They do not understand the damage that true hatred will have upon their election prospects.

I typed something very pointed here then thought better of it, Dover does not need any blowback. Our governments, state and federal, should think very carefully because we are and we will neither forget not forgive.

  19. BTW, if you can’t cook for … but you’re up for a Happy Saturday Breakfast …

Sweet Raisin Bread French Toast –

    Ingredients –

2 slices of Coles Cafe Style Raisin Bread
1 Egg (from 700gm sized carton Minimum)
1 milk bottle cap of Milk
1 dessert spoon of Caster Sugar

a small (or to save on oil, bread slice sized), frypan with a few mil of Peanut or Sunflower Oil

Optional Toppings eg. Banana slices, Berries, Maple Syrup, Whipped Cream, Ice Cream etc.

    Method –

Whip up the egg, milk & sugar – in a mug with a drink frother is ideal – a fork & wrist action will do.
*Make sure all the yoke & white is evenly broken up. You don’t want ‘scrambled eggs’ in your pan fried spiced fruit cake.

Pour the egg mix into into a ‘European Soup Bowl’/not too shallow small plate.

Heat the oil while you soak a Raisin Bread slice in the Egg & Milk mix, both sides.

Gently place the soaked Raisin Bread in the medium heated oil, turn a few times to check the oil’s not too hot, and cook until puffed & on the brown side of gold.

Remove onto paper towelled plate & repeat with the next slice that was soaking in the rest of egg mix.

Eat as is or with a sprinkle of Castor or Cinnamon Sugar or top or with all the goodies you feel like.
    **
1 LARGE Egg & 1 Cap of Milk, to 2 Slices, is the average measure.

Your children, working men & nursing mothers will love you for it.
It’s a, “Christmas For Breakfast or Anytime”, that anyone can knock up with ease and the cheap staples in your kitchen.

  29. Soooo, it wasn’t a long-standing affair Tim Paine was having with the cricket chick, who kept the dick pic in the bank and only used it after Paine ended it.

It turned out to be much more simple than that.

She was a thieving little strumpet caught with her finger in the Cricket Tasmania till and sacked six months after the text exchange (which is when it first came to light), and is only now throwing it in the air when her staeling matter has finally hit the courts (Focks):

Cricket Tasmania has revealed the allegations raised against Tim Paine by a former employee were only brought to their attention when formal charges of theft were laid against her in mid-2018.

Cricket Tasmania Chairman Andrew Gaggin said there was no complaint raised [by the woman, against Paine] at the time of the incident in November 2017, nor when the employee’s position with the organisation was terminated.

    And:

“As soon as Cricket Tasmania was made aware, it undertook an investigation that determined the interaction was consensual, private, occurred on the one occasion only, was between mature adults and was not repeated,” he said.

Mr Gaggin said criminal charges against the former employee were still pending and it was inappropriate to comment further given the matter was still before the courts.

Filthy little toerag. Her Legal Aid mouthpiece will now no doubt paint her as a victim of this terribly consensual behaviour. I also note there’s been no mention of the reciprocal texts from the thieving skank.

    Sigh.

The chick is caught stealing from Cricket Tasmania. Incontrovertible. She then raises the issue of ‘oooh but bad man sexted me I’m a poor victim #metoo’, which fails to impress Cricket Tasmania and they sack her.

Now her case is coming up before the court. She will again portray herself as a victim (incorrectly) and was soooo traumatised she turned to theft to support her growing ice habit after consensually engaging in sexting four years ago. Labor is looking to make funding of public broadcasters an election issue by promising to provide the ABC and SBS with five-year funding terms if it wins government.

Labor leader Anthony Albanese and opposition communications spokeswoman Michelle Rowland on Friday said it was essential to guard against political interference in the nation’s democratic institutions by bolstering the independence and stability of the broadcasters.

“In the face of political, social and economic instability at home and abroad, we must ensure that Australia’s instruments of nation building, democracy and culture remain strong now and into the future,” they said.

“This includes independent public service media that holds power to account on behalf of the Australian people.”

ABC chair Ita Buttrose this week accused the Morrison government of political interference and attempting to intimidate the public broadcaster after the Senate established an inquiry into the ABC’s complaints handling process following concerns it was not doing its job properly. Mr Albanese and Ms Rowland said a Labor government would review options for delivering a greater level of financial stability and certainty to the broadcasters to “safeguard against arbitrary ideological cuts and political interference”.

“After promising ‘No cuts to the ABC or SBS’ the Liberal-National government slashed their budgets and has launched repeated attacks on them, including two attempts to increase prime-time advertising on SBS and various attempts to meddle with the ABC charter,” Mr Albanese and Ms Rowland said.

The Victorian government has a 36 billion dollar annual wage bill.
    It’s called buying a constituency.
The huge public sector suffered little economic damage in the lockdowns but the much smaller group of small and medium businesses were brought to their knees and many will never open their doors again. Not many votes to lose.
Andrews and his big business cronies also imported large groups of unskilled labour to pump up the ponzi growth scheme. These people have a tenuous existence and know that government support is their lifeline when the work stops, and it did thanks to Covid restrictions. They vote for big daddy.
Andrews is running a big socialist protection scheme.
You won’t get hurt if you are loyal to Dan.
The money will run out of course but until then people will be happy and have been conditioned to think freedom of action is reckless.
Remember the older soviets who yearned for the good old days of total control.
