The people who took that MASSIVE step (for conservatives)
The salient point, parenthesised.
Conservatives types take far longer than the left-wing ne’er-do-wells to get out and about to protest, if for no other reason than the conservative types are generally either at work, or doing something else constructive.
But when they do speak and act publicly, it’s on like Donkey Kong. Add to that the multitude of people forced from their jobs by the Emperor, who by doing so has directly impacted their ability to provide for their families, and it’s fucking look out.
Leftists are self-centred. Conservatives have others at the forefront of their lives, and that’s the difference. Report comment

Ambo clearly intends to remain Member for Grayndler for some time yet so he’s going back to the GrassRoots to shore up support.
He doesn’t have anything to worry about, last election he won just over 50% of the vote before preferences, and the Liberal Party preferences flow to him also. Report comment

Grigory, anti-vaxx people want to be left the hell alone and not forced to take mRNA innoculations so some stooge politicians and totalitarian-curious dumbshits like you can stain your walls.
Anti-fascists are the crowd you are describing, and deliberately conflating Riccardo Bosi with for the purposes of being a totalitarian-curious dumbshit and upsetting the Cat.
More importantly, where is your evidence of Riccardo Bosi foaming at the mouth while wearing Camo, eh?
Is this like your absolute proof of certainty that the US Government has never wanted to sell nuclear submarines to Australia? Or that some nebulous-but-ill-defined group of ‘elites’ have spent over a century plotting to destroy the meat and lovestock industry in Australia? Report comment

Yes, I know this for a fact. However, as I’ve maintained, it is an extremely diverse demographic.
It cuts across all groups.
Why do you think the counter protests are so pathetic? It’s because many of those who may have done so previously, are now carrying the ‘Kill The Bill’ placards.
The Red Flags are a version of our national flag and I was wearing a black t-shirt on Saturday. As for camo, conservatives don’t serve? Before you answer this, remember, your knowledge of the military, and those who serve in it, is rather limited.

Ok, Ed, I’ll give you one more post…just to see if you can get it.
EVERY.SINGLE.PERSON that I’ve attended these protests with, has commented that they consist of people and groups who would have been facing off with one another at previous protests, over any number of other issues.
Left, Right, Centre, Hippies, Aboriginal, Asian, traditional Anti-Vaxxers, Covid Vaccine Hesitant, Rich, Poor, Professionals, Tradies, Unemployed, Dark skinned, Light Skinned, Fully Vaxxed, Half Vaxxed, Not Vaxxed, Rastafarians, Atheists, Religious, Agnostic…lock, stock, the fucking lot.
Which group is going to mount the counter protest? Dregs and left over cult members who are lacking relevance, that’s who. Hence, it’s piss weak.
Conservatives are activating, there is no doubt. That you are not, doesn’t change that fact. In fact, perhaps you should think about what that means. Additionally, you seem to have missed that these protests are anti the bill, pro-choice, and anti-lock downs…not necessarily anti-vax.

Just going to point out the utter lunacy of this situation looming in QLD again.
Today and tomorrow, everyone in QLD is completely and totally free. No masks, nobody except karens are signing in to anything, everyone is doing and going where ever they please as per 2019.
Then suddenly, for no reason at all:
When Queensland reaches the target of 80% double dose, unvaccinated people will not be able to:
Visit vulnerable settings, including residential aged care, hospitals, prisons, and disability care accommodation. There will be exceptions for medical treatment, end-of-life visits, childbirth, or emergency situations.
Attend hospitality venues such as hotels, pubs, clubs, taverns, bars, restaurants, or cafes.
Attend indoor entertainment venues such as nightclubs, indoor live music venues, karaoke bars, concerts, theatres, or cinemas.
Attend outdoor entertainment activities such as tourism experiences (including reef excursions), sports stadiums, or theme parks.
Attend festivals (entire venue—indoor and outdoor) such as folk festivals, arts festivals, or musical festivals.
Attend Queensland Government owned galleries, museums or libraries.
Twitter is circulating a ridiculous story that Palaszczuk is having a relationship on the side with a current NRL player.

Protecting anyones health is the last thíng on their minds.
So you don’t think we are currently robbing our children of a normal childhood in order to contain a virus that is dangerous to a tiny fragment of society, which mostly consists of people at the very end of their natural lives?
What is and has been done to us has nothing to do with a virus. We’ve had viruses before without strangling the whole population and destroying economy. You look after the vulnerable, isolate the sick and increase hygiene. And it works, something the current approach patently hasn’t. And you most certainly don’t suppress known cures for experimental drugs. No, money and power, that’s what this is all about and it’s frightening how close they are to total tyranny. Report comment

JohnH, what are the quantities of Mg, Vit D, and the last that I should be taking. Note, I am not shy of the sun.
You need to start with a Vitamin D status check. Min 50 preferably over 70. If deficient must supplement with 5,000IU(125mcg). Take with fat and the supplement should be in capsule form not tablet. Sunlight exposure is latitude dependent. Melbourne? Probably 10am- 2.00pm window is optimal for 10-15 minutes but, and this is a very big but, there is a wide variation in our capacity to generate D from sunlight and Mg deficiency will seriously impact D status. You should also add Vitamin K2 to the mix or better still foods rich in K2, typically fermented foods. Eg. Sauerkraut and natto are good sources but I can’t stand either. High D and poor K2 status is an invitation to soft tissue calcification. Don’t take calcium supplements.
I don’t take supplements all the time. With D status high sunlight should be enough. However when I stop Mg it doesn’t take long for cramps to become a problem though eating nuts helps prevent that. Same thing happens to my sister and happened to my mum so probably a genetic component there. Mg is involved in over 300 reactions so obviously important.
Like the good doctor I’m conflicted as to which comes first: atherosclerosis or vascular calcium deposition! Report comment

Had the bleedin’ obvious poited out to me- the queues of lanky soft schoolies were for the party-area tickets, which come with wristbands and leave with $170 of mummy and daddy’s money. The vaxxxxxx van was there as a ride-along.
$170 for a crap few DJ’s, chillout zone, ferris wheels and “the experience of a milestone with all your great friends and timeless memories forged with new best mates” or somesuch Hallmark sunbscript. Setting up the circus fifteen years ago I was stunned by the spotty youths peeling off a fifty from a wad of cash to gain access to what was then a barely habitable paperbark paddock. Mummy and Daddy were buying, after a grumpy finishing year, a quiet week alone at home… and they were also buying absolution from responsibility, and putting the weight on the shoulders of ambos and nurses.
This was before WA inexplicably followed the eastern states and re-jigged the school year intake to be from mid-year to mid-year, and so shifting Y12’s from being approximately 11/12ths turned 17 years old, to being half 18-y-o’s, so the grog runner cash dried up too. Report comment

Favourite “Schoolies” tale, courtesy of me Ma.
Young bloke presents to hospital, mid-afternoon. Quietly tells of how he’d had a fair few drinks on a backyard tour, woke up on a verandah somewhere, bit of a spew… but, woke up with a very irritated private member. Red, inflamed, throbbing, painful.
Nurses tried to talk him through what he might remember of the night’s shenanigans. Was he grabbed roughly? Dancefloor collision? Barbecue mishap? Did he pass out with the old feller out in the sun, sunburnt? Pass out on the grass, allergy?
Bloke verry shamefaced, says he did get busy with a girl, never met her before or after. Effectively lost memory, or flat-out unconscious, mid-stroke. Upset that he was a virgin, asks is this what usually happens? Is it… an STD?
Nurses trying to reassure him, nope that’s not how any STDs present. Playing the concerned women of professional experience, raised eyebrows and winks behind his back, maybe a bit mumsy but down to earth, nonjudgemental. They all settle on him being exposed overnight and for most of the morning, with the tool in the sun/sand/grass/mulch/environment.
“Aha” mum says, bit of a brainwave. “Do you think you might have been bitten?”

Trump won’t even need to campaign. He could just tweet the news every day.
Constantly I am shocked (but not surprised) by the weird & incomprehensible behaviour of people.
A couple of hours ago encountered a bloke sleeping outdoors a couch in the forecourt.
He’d locked himself out of his room, & didn’t want to be a bother by asking to be let in.
This man is sober, clean, neatly groomed, sociable, white, in a skilled occupation & on an ABC presenter sized salary.
Told him he was no bother & proceeded to the office to grab a master key.
Returned a few minutes later, couldn’t see him. Asked the shadows “Er… which room was it again mate?”
No response.
Louder this time: “Er… which room was it again mate? Didja say room 51?”
He stirred from where he was playing possum on the couch, didn’t look up, & gave a stream of swearing, that if I’m the sort who’s forgotten his room number, then he’s going to sleep outside coz he’s never ben treated so effing badly in his life & I can just eff off…. etc. etc. (a lot of swearing & personal invective was directed at me)
“Suit yourself”
Back to the office & put the master key away. (Nobody is obliged to actually use a hotel room, all they gotta do is pay for it & I’m content.)
(Btw, the room number he’d told me turned out to be an unoccupied vacant room) Report comment

How COVID-19 borders drove Perth family to seek female genital mutilation on home soil
By Lauren Pilat
November 21, 2021
On a seemingly typical weekday in the summer school holidays, a new mother took her two-week-old girl to a suburban GP’s office in Perth.
Only, it was not for a check-up. Sabrina Lightbody and her mother, Norida Binte Mohd, were instead looking for a doctor they hoped would be sympathetic to their wish to have the infant girl circumcised in a procedure they knew was illegal in Australia.
The procedure, where the clitoris is pricked to draw blood, was historically considered “a gift to God” in Singapore, where the women emigrated from.
Mohd, 50, and Lightbody, 24, both had the procedure done as infants in Singapore before moving to Western Australia when Lightbody was 15 years old.
Days before Lightbody had even given birth to her daughter, the pair had been planning the procedure. With international borders closed, preventing them from taking the newborn overseas, they instead went just six minutes down the road from their family home in Canning Vale to the Amherst Road Medical Centre.
The women had sought out a Muslim female doctor from Malaysia who worked at the practice because she shared their cultural background, thinking she might go along with the plan.
Once the three generations were in the doctor’s room, Mohd asked if her new granddaughter could be circumcised and insisted the doctor perform the procedure immediately.
The medical practitioner, with 15 years’ experience, became concerned and made an excuse there would be issues with Medicare. Mohd offered to pay cash.
Female circumcision, known as khitaan, is a common cultural practice in Malaysia where its government urges people to have the procedure done by a medical practitioner.
But in WA, it is a criminal offence to cut or mutilate all or part of the clitoris, or any other part of the female genital organs, and doing so can attract up to 20 years in jail.
WA was the last state in Australia to make the female genital cutting or mutilation procedure illegal in 2004.
The doctor refused to perform the procedure and Mohd and Lightbody left the medical centre with the small infant unharmed.
That night, the baby’s father became aware of Mohd and Lightbody’s plan and called a family member, which led to Child Abuse Squad detectives arresting the mother and daughter at their two-storey townhouse.
The pair were later charged with conspiring to unlawfully perform female genital mutilation, which carries a maximum imprisonment of 10 years.
On November 4, they appeared before the District Court of WA and were spared jail time, despite Judge Alan Troy rejecting their claims of cultural reasons for attempting to have the girl circumcised.
“I cannot regard this practice as ‘a gift to God’,” Judge Troy told the court.
He was “inferentially satisfied” both women were aware female genital mutilation was illegal and noted the “significant pressure” Lightbody was placed under by Mohd to have the procedure performed.
Lightbody grew up with a fusion of Australian and Muslim cultures, and was expected to comply with her mother’s religious beliefs.
Her lawyer, Alana Taylor, told the court the 24-year-old was remorseful and regretful, and had suffered immensely after having no contact for six months with her baby daughter.
“There is little to suggest that you do not love your daughter and that you wanted to protect her, but your decision was misguided because you put your mother’s beliefs ahead of your daughter’s health and welfare,” Judge Troy told Lightbody.
Mohd was handed a 15-month jail sentence and Lightbody a 12-month jail sentence that were both conditionally suspended for 12 months, with each to be supervised in the community and to undergo treatment by a mental health professional. Report comment

Mg. Peanuts are an excellent source of magnesium. Very difficult to measure Mg status. Cramps are strong indicator of deficiency. Otherwise, start with 200mg and build up. Be careful, too much and you are running to the toilet. Look here for advice on signs of deficiency and appropriate intake. Also see here.

This was before WA inexplicably followed the eastern states and re-jigged the school year intake to be from mid-year to mid-year, and so shifting Y12’s from being approximately 11/12ths turned 17 years old, to being half 18-y-o’s, so the grog runner cash dried up too.

“Well maybe, but I couldn’t find any tooth marks…”

(Btw, the room number he’d told me turned out to be an unoccupied vacant room)

And Brisbane ‘connections’ or not, the wilful mis- and dis-information (yet always, consistently left-leaning) it spouts is pure Grigory…
Perhaps, but the political left and the universities (BIRM) produce these types by intellectual cloning. They might have different core obsessions (gerbil worming, or international bankers et al) but their push is always in the same direction.

I thought it would take a few years for Dan’s communism to have full effect!

A report on Sky News suggested the SoE cannot be extended in Victoria at all beyond December 15. Has anyone else come across this?
That’s the understanding of the lawyers at my employer. Dan needs to get his bill passed before the 15th of December to replace the measures otherwise SoE simply ends, unable to be extended further.
