If the Queen wants to be such a good citizen by making Andrew be dealt with like a pleb, maybe she can overturn the extension of keeping a range of WWII papers wrapped up for another gazillion years like she demanded.

Omicron doesn’t like me.

Nor me. I’ve been surrounded by close cases on every front this past fortnight. Walking companions, tennis players, medical clinic, friend who has been busy jabbing others, coffee shop staff. Every single one of them double vaxxed. Some boosted.

Me: no mask since March 2020, unvaxxed and becoming less inclined to even line up for Novovax should it ever magically appear, still with multiple autoimmune issues and not a sniffle. It’s a mystery all right.

2. I’m extremely uncomfortable with this singling out, this targeting of Andrew in the Epstein saga.
Andrew is clearly the low hanging fruit. There are much bigger players…..hello Bill Gates, hello Bill Clinton and others….who have somehow been airbrushed from any association with Epstein. Why? Oh I know why…..because the bigwigs are being protected by progressive MSM scum, by progressive politicians, by a progressive swamp……much easier to target catholic priests or mediocre British royals. You see this even in newspapers like The Oz, where they conveniently publish twenty year old pictures of Prince Andrew or Donald Trump with Epstein….but ignore pictures of Clinton with Epstein. The hypocrisy is staggering.

And thousands of others. Why do you think Epstein got his deal in 2007(?). Far too much dirty laundry of the rich and powerful.

3. As I mentioned above, I don’t trust Virginia Guiffre. She was NO innocent at the time, if Andrew did have carnal dealings with her (and that’s a big and questionable IF), who the fuck cares, she was 17 years old, is most countries she was legally of age. It is highly unlikely that she was some innocent daffodil deflowered by Andrew. And why isn’t she talking about other men she had dealings with whilst being pimped by Epstein and Maxwell? Because Andrew is low hanging fruit…she’s eyes on the dosh, she likes the attention.

Well said Cassie.

If we manage to get out of our current dire situation with some semblance of civilization we need to think about making virtue signalling and online mobs quasi-illegal.

I’ve previously suggested that the leader of a country has the right (but not obligation) to give people what they say they want.

If you publicly call to override the presumption of innocence for someone else then from that point on, if anybody accuses you of something, then you’ll be assumed to be guilty.

Dickless upticking, and well deserved too.

It occurs to me, and not for the first time, that there is a sizeable chunk of people in this fair land that bemoan the ratshit-filled hive of clickbait-driven diarrhoea that is the MSM in this and other countries.

That’s one thing, it’s accurate and it’s entirely fair enough.

But when it comes to this, and ex-HRH Andy is a perfect example, those exact same people latch onto what the MSM exudes – on whatever subject – and treat it as gospel.

Frankly, it’s fucking appalling in my view. It directly leads to nuffies posting questionable clips and articles for the ‘benefit’ of others, claiming that ‘It’s on YouTube so it must be true!!!1! Editorial: Proof of vaccination rule another step in avoiding chaos that has hit the eastern States
EditorialThe West Australian
Fri, 14 January 2022 2:00AM
Comments

It has been flagged for some time and on Thursday it became quite clear.

If you are not vaccinated against COVID-19, life is going to become more complicated after WA’s borders come down on February 5.

Premier Mark McGowan announced sweeping proof-of-vaccination measures as the next measure to be deployed in a bid to help WA re-open to the world as safely as possible.

Proof people have been double-jabbed is already required for venues taking in more than 500 people, including nightclubs, music festivals and major events.

But from January 31, the list of places non-vaccinated people aged 16 and above will be able to attend will shrink dramatically.

Proof of vaccination will be required to visit public and private hospitals, aged care facilities, all hospitality venues including restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs, clubs, nightclubs and dine-in fast food venues.

The unvaccinated will also be banned from museums, cinemas, the zoo, gyms, bottle shops, amusement parks, indoor entertainment venues and the entire Crown complex.

They will be permitted to get take-away food and visit roadhouses and petrol stations.

Community sport and school-based events, unless at one of the specific venues listed, will be exempt from the vaccine requirements.

“Life will become very difficult for the unvaccinated from January 31,” Mr McGowan said.

“These will be the broadest proof of vaccination requirements in the nation, and they will not be removed any time soon.

“We know that those in hospitals around the country are mainly unvaccinated people, so I urge you if you aren’t vaccinated — do it now.

“If you don’t get vaccinated, the message is clear — we will not let you put others at risk.”

The Premier said the restrictions could last for years.

There was an article by Alan Dershowitz ( who has also been fingered by Guiffre ) pointing out that in the Maxwell trial, there was a heap of evidence about her activities in procuring young girls for Epstein and Maxwell.
She was not called on to give evidence as clearly the prosecution did not see her as a reliable witness.
I suspect neither Andrew or Guiffre want to get into a witness box.

What stood out was this long agonized cluck.

Dr Stokes-Parish said there had been an increase in the amount of content published online containing extremist and “radicalised” views during the pandemic, especially around COVID vaccines.

“It’s the things that people perceive to have a personal impact on them — that’s when they get quite aggressive and seem to go on the attack,” she said.

So “extremist” is pixes online, whats hunky dory is restricting peoples rights to work, socialize or even use the services they pay taxes for, while subjected to a 24/7 campaign of thuggish ads and pressure promising more misery if they dont submit.

Kudos for trying interesting technology. But still a ‘keep your hands in your pockets’ moment.

Indeed.

The scramjet plane won’t get any further than the edge of the Earth’s atmosphere anyway, so said little satellites still need an additional rocket motor attached to launch them into their orbital trajectory.

It may allegedly be a cheaper launch method than a traditional rocket, but only for niche applications where LEO is needed. If you are after geostationary or higher-coverage trajectories (where most commercial stuff goes, e.g. TV, microwave internet, mapping, etc.) the rocket still wins.

The Australian’s Australian of the Year: Cleo Smith’s police heroes nominated for award

Paul Garvey
Senior Reporter
@PDGarvey

The remarkable rescue of four-year-old Cleo Smith from a rundown house in the early hours of a Wednesday morning in November – and the subsequent photo of a smiling Cleo, Icy Pole in hand, waving at the camera from her hospital bed – sparked an outpouring of joy across the nation.

Cleo’s recovery, some 18 days after she disappeared in the middle of the night from her family tent at the remote Blowholes campground 70km north of Carnarvon in northwest Western Australia, was also a triumph of dogged police work.

Detective Superintendent Rod Wilde was the man installed to lead Taskforce Rodia, set up to find out what happened to Cleo.

As hopes for the missing girl faded, and as wild theories around her disappearance continued to swirl, Wilde and the 140 officers working on the case remained disciplined and determined in piecing together what had happened.

In the end, despite the carrot of a $1m reward, there was no single tip-off or sighting that cracked the case. It was a combination of multiple pieces of information gathered by police, including data gleaned from mobile phone towers, that allowed Taskforce Rodia to hone in on reclusive Carnarvon man Terence Kelly as allegedly responsible for Cleo’s abduction.

As pieces of the puzzle began to fit into place, it fell to a group of four detectives – Det-Sen Sgt Cameron Blaine, Det-Sen Const Kurt Ford, Det-Sen Const Drew Masterson, and Det-Sgt Jason Hutchinson – to burst into Kelly’s home.

As Blaine would later recall, the four had no idea what to expect: whether young Cleo would be there, or what condition she would be in. As it transpired, Cleo was sitting up playing with toys as they entered. Audio of that moment, later released by WA police, captured the incredible moment as Blaine repeatedly asked her name. “My name is Cleo,” she eventually replied.

While the work of WA police reunited a family and brought jubilation to a country, it also helped further restore the standing of a police force whose reputation had been damaged in recent decades.

A series of bungled investigations and prosecutions – headlined by the years police spent pursuing innocent suspects in the Claremont serial killer investigation – now look to firmly belong in a different era.

Task-force Rodia has been collectively nominated The Australian’s Australian of the Year.

Not sure what other Cat’s think – smacks to me too much of a gold star for doing your job?

Meanwhile, SpaceX launched and recovered another Falcon 9 last night (tenth flight for that booster) with 105 rideshare satellites and recovered the first stage booster at the Cape. Looked to be pretty much dead center of the landing pad which bodes well for catching Superheavy and Starships which both will have no landing gear.
Liquid oxygen is cheap. High temperature materials etc for a scramjet, not so much.

Science fiction in action:

Transporter-3 Mission (14 Jan, via Instapundit)

Transporter-3 is SpaceX’s third dedicated rideshare mission, and on board this launch are 105 spacecraft (including CubeSats, microsats, PocketQubes, and orbital transfer vehicles).

For a million US dollars you can now launch a satellite up to 200 kg into solar orbit, which this launch is going to. If you want an Earth orbit you can hitch a ride on a Starlink launch, SpaceX lets you do that.

So now any Sydneysider can sell their house, build a satellite and go for a ride. Well not them, I doubt that would be allowed, but what they want to send. Do you want your fridge to orbit the Sun for a thousand years? Now’s your chance!

The video is breathtaking. The 1st stage had sufficient fuel to land back at Canaveral, with split screen as it landed. Mindblowing. And the lady commentator mentioned something new to me – they now recover the fairings from the 2nd stage payload when they’re ejected: about the same time as the 1st stage is detached. How they recover those fairings I have no idea.

Speaking of deploying satellites via aircraft

Richard Branson’s Virgin Orbit delivered satellites from three countries into space Wednesday, its second successful rocket launch from a plane.

The company’s modified 747 jet dubbed Cosmic Girl jet took off from California’s Mojave Desert, carrying the 70-foot (21-meter) rocket beneath its left wing. Once the plane was over the Pacific near the Channel Islands, the LauncherOne rocket peeled away, then fired its engine to head to space. The drop occurred at an altitude of about 37,000 feet (11,000 meters).

How they recover those fairings I have no idea.

The fairings survive re-entry and have steerable parachutes, land in the water and are fished out and inspected and repaired as necessary. Apparently the fairings are about $6 million for the pair. Running the boat is not so expensive.
They did try for quite a while to catch the fairings on nets about the boat but despite the odd catch it wasn’t successful or reliable. Easier to engineer the fairings to survive short time water immersion.
There are some videos around of the fairings during re-entry from inside the fairing and others of the catch attempts with the boat.

They feel they have no right in even asking – given operators don’t need to get out of the truck (and if they do, they’re nowhere around people).

Pretty much as you’ve described.

Truck rolls over weighbridge and onto the grid, under guidance from the loadout operator. I’ve seen the truckies briefly hop out to open and close their own tarps, grain hatches and dumper flaps. But everything after that is done in the truck. And directed by the loadout folks, who also do the paperwork, sample the incoming load for bugs and contamination, and sweep up the excess and the spillage back into the grid.

The grain is then conveyored to the appropriate cell for storage and fumigation.

If trains are involved, the loadout guys will open and close the discharge doors and supervise and sample the unloading, but all movements and wagon setups are carried out by the train crew. When loading, the train crew pops the hatches and run the train under the direction of the loadout operators, who are directing grain thru the loading chutes into the wagons.

Police and the Country Fire Service (CFS) were called to the Eyre Highway at Coorabie, about 100 kilometres west of Ceduna, just before 4am following reports that a truck had caught fire.

Police said the driver of the truck escaped without injury and unhooked one of the trailers.

The CFS said a large amount of a chemical the truck had been carrying had spilled on the road and there was also a large amount of toxic smoke.

Behold! Your country, as reported in the UK Telegraph:

Renata Voracova, the Czech player who was deported from Australia because of her Covid vaccination status, has revealed she was ordered to undress during her lengthy interrogation by border force officials.

has revealed she was ordered to undress during her lengthy interrogation by border force officials

Doubles specialist Voracova was detained in Melbourne on the same visa grounds as Novak Djokovic last week, having initially been permitted to enter the country after being granted a medical exemption to compete.

But she was detained in Melbourne last Friday before having her visa revoked and was subsequently deported from the country, despite having already played in a warm-up tournament in Melbourne.

“It was as if I were watching a film – a long interrogation with instructions such as ‘undress, get dressed’. Yuck, I don’t even want to think about it, let alone live it again,” Voracova told Russian newspaper Denik, adding that she burst into tears during questioning which lasted up to six hours.

Now Scommo is a ratbag shit, but not this level. The bureaucracy is ruled and staffed exclusively by people who hate him, and borders, and ‘anti-vaxxers’, and there is an election coming up, and this stuff is starting to stink of a win-win wedge narrative for open borders, green-left bureaucrats.

Heads: “Oh so you don’t like Australia’s border policies when they’re being applied not-brown people? Well, well, well, a little bit racist no, how do you like it?”

Tails: “We’re being forced to implement these draconian rules by Scott Morrison government, we’d like to show compassion but our hands are tied and his government is ruthless!”.

If he overrides them and lets them in: “Scott Morrison is letting unvaccinated foreigners in when QLDers, WA, NT, and Victorian people are still banned from life! Shame on him!”.

“drawing a comically long bow ” with regards to Scummos use of his foreign troops on Australian soil legislation, I asked you to provide some realistic scenario(s) where the use of foreign troops would be necessary (& righteous).

The law and rule changes are in ppace because we already host elements of several foreign militaries on our soil for training and mutual aid basing. To wit, Singapore’s Army (FNQ) and Air Force (Basic and Advanced Pilot Training at RAAF Pearce in WA), and the US Marine Corps in Darwin.

We want to expand this to include Japan, India and a number of other mutually friendly powers. None of whom (just as we would expect for our diggers overseas) want to see their troops hung up for offending local law that they fell afoul of.

Status of Forces Agreements for foreign militaries are a common thing. Unless you are a mliitary member in a foreign land, or hosting them in your community, nobody knows or cares. The military justice system is what military members are bound by. And it will administer to its members in lieu of the law of the foreign land.

None of this justifies blind panic that PLA paratroopers or Naval Infantrymen are going to be allowed to come in and abuse the Australian population with total carte blanche because the Australian Government feels it has no control over its own people in a State of Emergency. That is not how the game has ever worked. The UN in its peacekeeping guises has only ever accepted requests from member nations, or agreed to commit troops when the social breakdown is near-total, and the optics look really bad on the nightly news.

A serious bushfire or flooding event where say NZ, PNG or Indonesia offers some medical and engineering teams to Australia as good neighbours and these are accepted, and they need some special arrangements so that they do not get picked up and hung out to dry under local law for something. It is already enough of an international incident if one of your de facto ambassadors in green misbehaves in-country and gets a speeding ticket. Let alone commits a theft or murder or is alleged to have done the same.

This is why I say your repeated fears of the PLA turning up to occupy us because Canberra has asked Beijing to deploy them since the PM feels he cannot keep Australia in check is far-fetched to the point of ridicule.

We are not a vassal state being propped up by the PLA, a la Communist Hungary in 1956 or Czechoslovakia in 1968. Not by a long shot.

lotocoti, materials aren’t the only problem. Hypersonic aerodynamics, actually getting a scramjet to produce more thrust than drag, control issues, heating etc.
Meanwhile Falcon 9’s takeoff, the booster returns to the barge or near the launch point, time after time after time. Done deal.
In the Fridman/Musk interview that was linked here it is mentioned that a F9 launch with used first stage is maybe $15 million. At a million a pop for rideshare and 105 satellites on the latest launch SpaceX are coining it bigly. BTW that estimate of the launch costs of F9 is AFAIK the first time this has been revealed. It has been exercising lots of minds including those in the launch industry in Russia, Europe and China while SpaceX commercially eats their lunches.
When Starship gets going the costs mentioned are one to two million for a flight for 100+ tonnes delivered into orbit.
Hypersonics have been hopelessly left behind. Would make good weapons though although they may be competing with 100+ tonnes of “Rods from God”.

Mendacious reporting example no. 998½:

NSW records deadliest day of the pandemic, Victorian hospitalisations at all-time high (Sky News, 14 Jan)

New South Wales has reported 63,018 new COVID-19 cases and its highest death toll since the start of the pandemic in early 2020.

Overnight 29 people with COVID-19 in the state died as hospitalisations continue to swell with a recording-breaking 2,527 reported on Friday.

“With”, which isn’t at all surprising since last week NSW Health announced that hospitals will no longer separate coof sufferers in separate wards. So guess what? All the poor people on their last legs now are getting coof. Which is then reported as dying with Covid666.

More mendacity:

Daily COVID-19 cases in NSW reached the 30,000s and 40,000s last week but then dropped back down to the 20,000s before rising to more than 60,000 on Friday.

It comes despite 93.8 per cent of the state’s over 16 population having received two doses of the vaccine and 95.2 per cent having received at least one dose.

Almost 33 per cent of the state’s eligible booster candidates aged 18 and over have stepped forward for their third shot.

NSW hospitals remain under pressure with high numbers of hospitalisations and the loss of many medical staff to COVID-19 isolation requirements.

So no linking that the tens of thousands of coof sufferers are 95% vaccinated, and a third triple vaxxed. Nor that the infected vaccine recipients are the cause for the hospitalizations. At least the journo acknowledges that the totally useless quarantine policy is contributing to pressure on hospitals.

If we can’t even rely on Sky News to report the news without leftist spin what hope do we have?

Rex, at 12.20 and 12.25:

A small piece of drivel mixed in with other drivel has been seized on by some as a hiding in plain sight marker of the NWO takeover, where foreign troops apparently have pre-approval to wander in and declare martial law on behalf of Klaus Schwab and the Stonecutters.

It’s cyclical. Happens every six months or so, usually fuelled by Facebook where some gongbanger posts something like ‘Dozens of transport planes just unloaded thousands of troops with blue berets at RAAF Darwin. I know a bloke who knows a tradie there and he saw it but wasn’t supposed to. They’re ready for deployment south! Tell everyone!’

In turn, half the ARES decides to tell their friends or employers ‘I just got a letter from the Army. Been called up for operations. I have special skill sets. Can’t say too much.’

This exact circumstance was recounted here by a recipient of one of these conversations, and who immediately put the word out that an invasion was imminent and that our own troops would assist with the invasion and subsequent population repression.

Obviously, this was and is taxi-driver grade nuffery that did zero to advance rational anti-lockdown and anti-mandate argument.

The reality is, as mentioned, that foreign troops in specific circumstances are permitted to enter and train in this country. They always have been. The US, UK and Indos have been doing this for decades.

When they are here, they are also bound by civilian law – which is why the USMC people when not out bush or in Robbo Barracks are the most impossibly polite people you’ve ever seen. The slightest fuckup or brush with the local jacks results in them being sent home, thus losing not only allowances but further promotional opportunities.

Finally, it is tremendous comedy value to see people seizing on something that’s as common as muck, and because they personally haven’t seen it before hold it up the heavens Lion King-style, convinced they’ve just split the atom.

7.212% of the population have had COVID – you can’t blame the 5% of unvaxxies.

The real question is, how many of those “positive” tests are real and how many are false positives?
Also, how many are repeat tests for people who are “required” to provide a test every day for work or to visit a hospital or nursing home etc?

There are too many variables in the figures that can be manipulated for there to be ANY clarity at all.

As an Australian, when I went to the USA and drove around a bit I was totally gobsmacked.

That country is the garden of eden. They have water to spare, arable land all over the place, forests forever, prairies watered weekly. They have rain and snow. All over the place.

Australia on the other hand is like a monks head. Empty in the middle with a tonsure around the edge and all the people crowded there trying not to fall into the ocean.

But Border Force folks are not standover goons. Same as coppers and soldiers at a checkpoint.

If someone says or does something that makes the Spidey Senses tingle, then extra scrutiny is applied.

I also have no doubt that if someone starts acting very uppity and rambunctious (I personally prefer not to try such things myself, for obvious reasons), then scrutiny will be applied harder. It is human nature on both sides, and may well be related to something nefarious or dodgy in the traveller’s care.

Any idea what the fines are like for downloading the proof of vax form and filling it in yourself before photographing it onto you mobile, bandying it about as a fuck you to the nerds that require it.

Frank, they seem to be relatively easy to put together. I don’t know about the phone version, but if you make up a paper version, fold it and unfold it a few times and keep it in your wallet. That will make it look as though it has been used a bit. The only way to not cop a fine, is to not get caught. From what I have been told, nobody seems to look too closely at these things. Not even bosses at a lot of workplaces. It seems to be working because the only time I have heard of anyone being caught using a fraudulent document was an unfortunate woman in Germany. She needed to keep her job, of course, children, husband out of work. She panicked so badly when found out that, if I remember correctly, she and her husband committed suicide. So sad and so bloody evil. All because our RULERS are playing Bingo with our lives.

What is happening now reminds me of a scene from the original version of Clash of the Titans, where you see the Gods on Mt Olympus moving little game pieces that look like people, across a board, like chess pieces, and, depending on their mood, making the characters suffer all sorts of travails. One God purses his lips and blows at a model boat on the board and causes the real boat to sink in a storm. And so on.
