Kenn Worth – Road Rager.
Is the timeline for the death of all vaxxed people still 18 months – four months from October 2021?
That is, 12 -42 months from now?
If not, what is the revised schedule and why did it change?

Not a thing has changed.
Warnie and Kitchens were well within the four years.

Now, you may dismiss the findings of the Inquiry, but the truth is Slip lane, many will be gone before four years.
Many already have.
Thousands already, while you muppets live in a surreal world of denial, talking about muzzle velocities of small arms used in the Ukraine conflict, just like those who own your body and your minds want you to.

“We need to change the mindset of the industry to respect and value what women can bring to industries. Let them become foremen, line managers, factory managers, so that other women can see that there is career progression for them,” Ms Atherton stressed.

You know what she’s working up to…quotas.

All 36 were unvaxxed. So even trying to infect unvaccinated people on purpose only half were able to be infected, and those who didn’t get infected showed no antibodies. I think that neatly fits with the negative effectiveness of the vaccines after 6-8 months, since they appear to strip out the T-cells that do the first line defense. Those particular T-cells are probably the reason the uninfected weren’t infected.

How the hell do you conclude this?

All it shows is that many of us have innate immunity and natural immunity works very well.

“Kneel, would synthetic hydrocarbons be “carbon neutral”?”

With cheap, clean and abundant energy, the C could be extracted from atmospheric CO2 and the H electrolised from sea water if such is considered “important”.

If we are truly approaching molecular manufacturing capabilities as it seems we inevitably are, the major focus at this point should be on that tech – the capabilities it would give us dwarf quite literally any environmental problems we have, because if for no other reason than having “a place for every atom and every atom in its place” would allow us to tread so much lighter on the environment for the same living standard. If you could reduce the weight of a vehicle by 90% without giving up any strength or stiffness, you need a much smaller engine power for the same performance for example. Recycling becomes almost trivial for another. And such tech offers similar advantages in every field – not just materials tech and transport, literally everything we do or use is affected, including medicine/health, ITC….
Everything.
If we destroy industrial society with green bullshit before we obtain such tech, we will have done neither ourselves nor the environment any favours. Of course, such tech is also potentially even more dangerous than nuclear and biological weapons, which is why we need to think about it and the implications now. We could see such tech in as little as 5 years on current trends – at least the beginnings of it. Certainly no more than 30 years at the most. It creates a “technological singularity” beyond which we have no hope to see – it’s the knee in the exponential curve of technology where the line goes nearly vertical. So if you intend to live that long, strap in, it’ll be a wild ride!

Other excellent semi-rainforest plants there include Polyscias murrayii, the Pencil Cedar, which isn’t a cedar at all but an aralia. You can grow it in gardens too for a tropical look.

The most tropical vegetation in that area are those magnificent vines which grow alongside the dusty road next to the Hacking River (now a walking path). We used to clamber up the vines and swing out over the road with our loudest Tarzan cries when some unsuspecting and startled motorist was bouncing along the road to Audley.

My experience with recent hospital stays, … was that … the food was mediocre. … the second last day, I stopped ordering food and the nurse came to my room to ask why? … there’s nothing worse than unpalatable food.

Cassie, when I’m Minister for Health, all hospital staff will have free meals provided when on duty or shift.
However they will have to eat the same food as the patients.

Participation in the free food for staff will be mandatory for all management & clerical staff.

Women solve problems differently … the industry has done everything the same way for hundreds of years, and by having women in, we can have things done differently – smarter and more innovative.”

Thanks but no thanks.

The all-women engineering team that designed the ill-fated pedestrian foot bridge at Miami’s Florida International University were highly touted for their advances in a field that is typically dominated by men.

But critics are pointing the finger of blame at the female engineers for design flaws that may have brought the bridge down.

Investigators are still on the scene of last week’s bridge collapse that killed 6 people and injured 9 on the FIU campus in Southwest Miami. …

Munilla Construction Management (MCM), the South Miami-based firm that designed the FIU foot bridge, has been sued multiple times for unsafe practices in the past.

In early March MCM was sued by a construction worker who was severely injured when MCM’s “makeshift bridge” at Miami’s International Airport collapsed. ….

MCM was awarded the $14.2 million minority contract to design and build the cable-stayed bridge. The company is well-connected in Miami politics and it promotes inclusion and diversity in the workforce.

When the bridge was built there were praises to the heavens for the “all women” team that designed it.
A nanosecond after the fatal collapse, the ambulances speeding to the scene were being outpaced by “fact checkers” racing to denounce the evil right wing assertion that the design team were all female.
The paeans to the “all women” team have now been almost completely scrubbed from the internet.

Many Catholics who have taken part in Black Lives Matter-affiliated events have said their focus was simple: protesting the perceived unjustified use of lethal force by police against Black people and calling for reform. They said topics that concern other Catholics about Black Lives Matter — Marxism, transgender ideology and even support for keeping abortion legal — don’t really come up.

Low-information but well-meaning folks, swept up in the emotion of the moment. The gullible led by the cynical.

Aka Useful Idiots.

If you understand Marxism as a Gnostic, millenarian religion that teaches humanity can be perfected, but by only a chosen few and at great cost, then all their actions and rhetoric make sense. Contradictory and nihilistic sense, but sense nonetheless.

It’s why they go to such trouble to hide away their true motivations and internal contradictions, or else ‘normalise,’ i.e. disguise it using every cultural megaphone and institution they can suborn.

The transition may take as long as 50 years, but there is no doubt that our parasitic reps are determined to remain elected and therefore will move heaven and earth (with OPM) to keep the transition to EV’s progressing.

Europe and Californication are leading the way, they are strangulating the industry with ever tightening regulations on emissions and a small carrot dangling above EVs.

If GeoThermal power can be implemented

Already has been. The geothermal plant east of Reykjavik is fun since when they do water injections the resulting swarm of earth tremors show up on IMO’s earthquake map. They can be quite sizeable, up to about Richter 4 if I recall. I see the swarm occur from time to time when they’re doing the injection.

Of course the Reykjavik and the Rotorua one are shallow geothermal sites on dormant volcanic systems. That’s why they work, the drilling is much less, the rock pressures less and the geothermal reservoir temperature very hot.

By contrast hot rock geothermal just keeps on failing, like the infamous Geodynamics project that Flannery spruiked for years before it finally failed.

Really, Struth?

I talk about the muzzle velocities of small and large arms used in the Ukraine because I want to.

Ditto history, theology, music, art, the Sciences, geopolitics, economics, the fact that Australia’s freight railways are unsubsidised and that in general the road, rail, air sea logistical systems in this country are woefully under-resourced and taken for granted, and more.

Not because today’s choice of Great Political Satan has allegedly told me to.

If one wants to spend their days and nights in enraged blaming of the Jews WEF Oligarchs Communists Nazis Ukranian Nazis Communist Nazis Jessica Mauboy for the DeAtH CaMpS, the misery of the times we are in and why it’s all too hard to go driving trucks again, with a side order of ritual cursing and spitting at that admittedly very nice portrait of me on the wall, then the Furniture Store is a much better and more focussed place to be. 🙂

Geothermal can work if you have a heat source near the surface like magma as in Iceland or NZ. My opinion of the Flannery style angle is, the technology isn’t ready yet and may never surmount the hurdles. My position comes from an explanation of how it is supposed to work from a very credentialed geophysicist and later from a number of drillers who worked on said project.

I wouldn’t waste the money on shares. I had friends who got burnt.

I totally disagree with the article. We really don’t know yet if the dollar reserve status will be injured by the Russian decision.

I think it won’t because we’re not going to The Rubble or the Yuan as they simply aren’t viable substitutes. This is just my view.

If the Russians demand people pay for their oil in Rubble, I don’t seethe big deal as Europe can convert their say euro into Rubble. The problem for say the German rubble buyer is that you can’t trust the exchange rate.

The article mentions how the dollars currently held by the Russians or whomever will be sold and thereby create inflation in the US. This is total nonsense because once the dollars are created and in circulation they are part of the money supply and do move through the economy.

Overall, I’d mark the piece as an F.

https://www.afr.com/policy/tax-and-super/the-seeds-of-australia-s-politicised-industry-super-system-20211120-p59ald

Yet, the result of the history spelled out by Pamela Williams is that industry super funds owned by a handful of unions and industrial relations club employer associations, but with no capital backing, could account for half of a $9 trillion super pool by 2041 that would dwarf both the banks and the sharemarket.

One of the great ironies is that a superannuation system devised by Labor and the unions now encourages the shift of wealth-creating companies such as Sydney Airport from publicly listed stock exchanges to the less transparent private equity space.

….
Super funds will be ‘biggest political donors in Australia’: Andrew Bragg
By Jennifer Duke and David Crowe

Senator Andrew Bragg wants to force industry superannuation funds to disclose how much money they give to trade unions, claiming more than $30 million a year will be paid from retirement profits into union coffers by 2030.

….
Super funds could use ‘green shorting’ to escalate climate concerns

One of the country’s leading ethical investors says the nation’s $3.3 trillion superannuation industry could move beyond divestment and adopt “green short-selling” as a tactic to pressure local companies with high carbon emissions to take greater action on climate change.

The Age and Sydney Morning Herald revealed this week US-based hedge fund titan AQR told the prudential regulator in April that its clients, which include some of Australia’s biggest super funds, would increasingly use short-selling to mitigate climate risks in their portfolios and to achieve net zero emissions exposure.

But fear not people, Ed-mongs mirror revealed this all to be wrong.

Dot there was recent report which argued natural immunity is occurring because of prior exposure to other coronaviruses so there is some cross variant immunity occurring(T cell mediated). That doesn’t sit well with the original antigenic sin argument.

No not really – ‘original antigenic sin’ in the Coronavax context means you have already taught your immune system to do just one thing when it encounters SARSCOV2: pump out just one type of antibodies – those made in response to the earlier exposure to the Spike protein used by the vax.

In natural infection, you make lots of different antibodies to lots of parts of the virus, so when you next encounter a new variant, you pump out a range of antibodies, some of which may be obsolete, but some of which are not, so you immune system still has weapons which work, at least partially, against the variant.

In contrast, if you have used the vaccine to train your immune system to just pump out antibodies to the old spike protein (and nothing else) – when it encounters a new variant, it just mass produces that single line of old and now obsolete antibodies.

Greek Mercedes was the term I heard for those Valiants. Yeah you could work on cars of that vintage but you had to. They also didn’t ride, steer and stop worth a damn compared to modern vehicles. I had an HR Holden I drove for 215,000 miles. 161, three on the tree. Several new rear gearbox bearings, new clutch, rear wheel bearings etc etc etc. Eventually bought a rear wheel drive Mazda 626 five speed manual. Great car. Did 235,000 kms in that. After a few months sold the shitheap on the front lawn. Drove it to see if it still went. It did but I nearly crashed it getting to the end of the street – 50 meters.

The reason I referenced T cell mediated immunity is because that isn’t about antibodies it is about MHC 1 antigen presentation. I suspect that can provide a broader range of protection than antibodies because MHC 1 antigen presentation may involve a number of different fragments which the T cell will respond to, particularly in the presence of DAMPs(damage associated molecular patterns like some heat shock proteins) or pathogen associated molecular patterns. This might explain why the booster shots increase the response against omicron, it would be interesting to see if that is primarily antibody or T cell mediated immunity. So the original sin isn’t a fall from grace, there is still the possibility of redemption.

Loose building standards let homes overheat in summer, stay cold in winter, passive house advocate says

A more accurate headline would be “wealthy man spends enormous sums of money to pretend hes better than you”

While the build was much more expensive than a typical new home, its average heating and cooling costs — which fluctuate with the season — are around just $35 a month.

You may feel free to read the rest of the article to find out “just how much more expensive” in vain.

Yet somehow it finds the space to extoll the virtues of living in a crypt.

After an extensive search, the Acunas opted for a German Passivhaus design which uses thick, insulated walls and double glazing with tight seals to create an extraordinarily airtight building that, when tested, allows only 0.6 air exchanges per hour.

“The German Passivhaus standard is the most energy efficient standard in the world right now,” he said.
The home is so airtight it needs mechanical ventilation to introduce fresh air and prevent mould, but it also means that a double storey, 200-square-metre, four-bedroom house uses just two small reverse-cycle air conditioners for heating and cooling.

would it be viable to have a reactor that creates these isotopes, allowing the remanufacture of the Plutonium 238 from the decayed fuel cell?

Winston: 238Pu decays to 234U. That I knew, but then had to look up what you can do with 234U. The answer is you can put in a reactor where it will rapidly turn into U235 by absorption of a neutron.

That will then power your reactor. However you can’t directly convert 234U back into 238Pu.

The problem with 238Pu is it’s hard to make. It’s produced from 237Np, but that isotope is a tiny byproduct of reactor operation, and has to be separated out from the spent fuel. Lots of chemistry, none of which you could easily do in a spacecraft. Then when you have the 237Np you irradiate it with neutrons to make the 238Pu.

By comparison you can do a RTG with 90Sr too, which is a fission product of 235U. There’s a fair bit of 90Sr in spent fuel. Once you extract it you don’t need to do anything else, since it’s ready to use pretty much. The catch is it’s very nasty and you don’t want it near you.

Also while 90Sr is easy to extract from spent fuel it still requires lots of chemistry with nitric acid and solvent extractants to do so, which does not go well with spacecraft internals. And the radiation hazard would be enormous. Not easily automated either.

In short RTGs are great but very expensive and can’t be produced without serious chemical infrastructure that can only be built on a planet with reasonable gravity.

There are no industries that do things the same way they did things hundreds of years ago. This is how you discredit yourself in a single sentence. I would throw her resume in the bin without a second thought if I saw that in there. Ignorance on stilts.

It’s obvious that women are smarter than the average man, the evidence shows up in every TV ad. Whenever a man and a woman are interacting in a tv ad – apart from funeral ads, where the male assures the female that he’s been thinking of how best to look after the family, as well as car ads where the male is hot-tailing it across country in a big 4 wheel drive to find the teddy bear or explaining where babies come from – men are shown in the “dumb and dogsh1t” light.

It stands to reason that a female “tradie” thinks that she’s bringing smarter and more innovative ways to tradie jobs.

In the other half’s line of work there are few females who ever make the grade because it’s physically and mentally demanding. Mostly he has seen them as quickly as possible want to get away from the hands-on stuff and into a comfortable chair in a comfortable office.

If men continually are depicted as such dumb creatures – and young women are encouraged to enter the male world of work and sport where they will clearly dominate their male counterparts – it makes sense that young females think that they’re so much better in the innovative male work stakes.

Always wanted a Cooper S.

My first car.

BRG.

Lots of fun; maybe too much at times. At least twice that I remember I nearly left the road, just started moving sideways like a little hovercraft while rounding a bend at speed. Any other car would have rolled.

Mark Steyn about Doris Day (who was a jazz singer before her movie career):
“About your work with André Previn..,” I said, struggling over the barks to stay on track.
“He looks like a wire-haired pointer,” said Doris. Which, to be honest, I couldn’t quite see, until I realized she was still talking about Buster Brown. “And I have a beautiful shitsu called Wesley Winfield.” Most of her dozens of dogs, it seems, are mongrel strays, and she can’t understand the fuss about purebreds – although as it happens, Doris Day, neé Doris Kappelhoff, is purebred Aryan (all four of her grandparents were German).
Buster Brown, Wesley Winfield… Doris Day likes any alliterative appellation apart from her own. She was renamed after “Day After Day”, an old ballad from the Twenties that the Princeton Triangle Club Jazz Band recorded with freshman vocalist Jimmy Stewart:
Just as evening follows afternoon
I follow you round
Just as age can’t change the sun or moon
Our love stays sublime
Regardless of time…
Doris Kappelhoff sang it at her first club booking in Cincinnati, and it went over so well that the bandleader proposed she become “Doris Day”. She never cared for it: it was no “Buster Brown”. “Doris Day sounds phony,” she told me. “I’ve always thought that.” Many friends call her “Clara”, because (she says) she looks more like a Clara; Rock Hudson called her “Eunice”; and Bob Hope favored “JB”, short for “Jut Butt”: As he once said to me, very appreciatively, “You could play bridge on her ass,” although I don’t believe he ever did.

There’s no emergency, Scotty has played the dopey Premiers like a Stradivarius.

Under the present system of Parliamentary Democracy in Australia, there is no way, so long as your arsehole points to the ground, that some Federal Bureaucracy is going to be allowed to get it’s claws on the $3 Trillion+
in Compulsory Superannuation.
Even under a Dictatorship, it’s still unlikely.

Bruce of Newcastle:

238Pu decays to 234U. That I knew, but then had to look up what you can do with 234U. The answer is you can put in a reactor where it will rapidly turn into U235 by absorption of a neutron.
That will then power your reactor. However you can’t directly convert 234U back into 238Pu.

Yes – that’s the process I was thinking of.
Oh well.
Back to the drawing board.
The other problem is the need for a new branch of engineering. How do we create steel plate and weld it in zero gravity and a vacuum?

On March 31, now known as “Transgender Day of Visibility,” divisions of the Biden Department of Health and Human Services went all-in on transing the kids. Several publications pushed “gender-affirming care,” which included access to puberty blockers and hormones for all children with gender dysphoria, even citing the fiction that all of the changes encouraged by these drugs are reversible. The memos even recommended genital mutilation surgeries for minors on a case-by-case basis. At least they admitted those are irreversible. Now, the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) has declared itself the enforcement arm of these proclamations.

A country that inflicts such obscene insanity, such abuse on its own children is not a good country. I find Russia much more appealing these days. How the tables have turned.

access for the elderly.

I’m still 18 years old in my head, but my body – particularly after the big chop – acts like a 90 yo.

Our Landcruiser was easy to access and dismount; I sort of dropped into, and oozed out of , it. (Yes, I’m quite tall… or willowy, as I prefer to call it.) The current car, a Honda, is much more difficult. I have to exit the wheelchair, pivot most inelegantly to grab the top of the door with one hand, and the door lock catch on the door pillar with the other*. Then it’s a matter of ‘sit quickly or hit the deck’.

I won’t try to describe the indignity of leaving the car. My point is that it depends on the size (and physical capability) of your aged or disabled passenger. In any event, a satin pillow slip on the seat helps him/her swivel to a comfortable position once they’re seated.

Centrifugal casting, zero gravity isn’t a problem, molten metal is attracted to itself, why you can weld overhead, and an absence of oxygen is what you want.
