Gilas, I would have gone to Nilk’s Discord but had no end of difficulty getting onto it. Adam’s is fairly “peaceful” if that’s what you want. Strident discussion and disagreement is absent for a couple of reasons.

I don’t mind the odd skirmish – if it doesn’t add to my understanding of an issue, it certainly adds to my understanding of the commenter!

I can recall the time where not only would I be cheered for doing this, I would have been able to snot the offender and not face any charges for it – more like others would have joined in, including the police!

And there it is. The worst thing about trans rights for people like Kneel is that they can’t join in a good old fashioned community lynching. Creepy.

Why is it hateful or bigoted to want women’s spaces (loos, change rooms) reserved for women? And women only? This was once such a reasonable “given” that no one thought about it much at all. It is now some sort of pathetic progressive battleground.

If you raise this issue with anyone on the land (at least in our experience) – they are just staggered that norms have changed so much. This reinforces my opinion that the trans movement has arisen in city enclaves.

I am not saying that “trans”inclined individuals do not exist in regional areas. What I am saying is that “diversity” has not simply prospered in the inner suburbs of cities, it has taken hold there in a big way. And like a contagion, it is spreading into the suburbs – and perhaps one day into the regions.

At the risk of being howled down – I will venture that it seems to me just another symptom of a decaying value system in the West. Disintegration just seems to be gathering pace.

Of course, these developments are often cyclical – and recoveries are possible, though mostly after a catastrophic “detox”. Can’t help but think current times resemble the latter part of the 1920s. Deep recession /Depression on the way….followed by another world war?????

You know how hard it is to watch what is clearly a man walk into a women’s change room and NOT drag them out?

The admirable Andrea Widburg at The American Thinker mourns the destruction of her childhood neighbourhood in San Franscisco:

I grew up in San Francisco’s Sunset District, a once thriving working- and lower-middle-class neighborhood. An important place in that neighborhood was Stonestown, one of America’s first shopping malls, where generations of children shopped with their mothers and, when older, hung out on their own. It was safe, and there was food. Today, as San Francisco’s government continues its commitment to social Marxism, Stonestown is turning into a violent gang hangout, making it a microcosm of what’s happening to leftist cities across America.

Mobs of teenagers have clashed in a string of violent San Francisco mall brawls, caught on video in one melee attacking and stomping each other as well as seemingly innocent onlookers.

San Francisco police told Fox News Digital in a statement that three separate incidents took place at the Stonestown Galleria mall from March 15 to March 17 that involved groups of juveniles attacking each other or bystanders.

[snip]

“I’m very scared,” food court vendor Guang Wei, who witnessed one of the fights at the food court, told CBS Bay Area. “I cannot continue to do business here in this kind of environment.”

Supervisor Joel Engardio told the station that the city is 500 police officers below where it should be for a city of its size.

“We need police officers to walk the beat, be on the street, be at shopping centers like Stonestown,” Engardio said. “We don’t have that luxury right now because we have so few police officers.”

The San Francisco Police Department has been battered by staffing shortages in recent years, with the force seeing a 12% decrease in its number of full-duty sworn officers from 2019 to 2022, CBS News reported last month. As of January, the department employed 1,537 police officers, far below the recommended 2,182 officers, according to city Supervisor Matt Dorsey.

“San Francisco is on the precipice of a potentially catastrophic police staffing shortage, and there are too many public safety problems we’ll be helpless to solve if we don’t start solving SFPD’s understaffing crisis first,” Dorsey said in a statement earlier this year.

Mayor London Breed redirected $120 million from law enforcement to fund other city initiatives in 2020 as crime continued to surge in the city – with homicides increasing by 20% in 2020 compared to 2019. Homicides also increased 17% in 2021 compared to the previous year, according to city data.

When I first visited San Francisco in the late 1970s I was blown away by it. Small and beautiful, gorgeous architecture, wonderful food and entertainment, clean and safe. Turning it into a shithole is a crime against civilisation. People shooting up and crapping and vomiting on the street, police being defunded, what could possibly go wrong?

Fortunately for them, the architects of the decline live in heavily secured and fortified multi-million dollar homes. See, Pelosi, Nancy and any number of rich Democrats.

Your moral obligation here is not to stop them doing something dumb, it’s to establish a law in accordance to reality.

That is very weak as a foundation for policy, gay marriage is a reality. You can call the law some unreal abomination before god and the fabric of space – time, but SSM existed briefly before Howard got rid of it and before the dubious SSM plebiscite. Tens of thousands SSM spousal couples exist now.

Now what?

This philosophical approach is part of why conservatives might be rock ribbed but continually concede ground. That’s not a personal slight against you, it is a problem that has existed since at least the UK Labor Party initiated the welfare state.

But “love is love” is a beautiful, but extremely harmful, statement.

The other day you said you had no qualms with the QWERTY folk but they’re kinda hard to miss these days. Even my 9 year old son asked me why there was a rainbow flag at the Swannies match yesterday… like Munt, they’re perverts and they want our children to develop abnormal “tastes.”

No sweat Lysander. I don’t get out much, never go to big events, crowds annoy me too much. So I can’t relate to the public presence that you mention. I’m not a parent, can’t relate to your concern. There is a narcissistic element in publicly demanding acknowledgement of one’s sexual predilections. There are many people with unusual traits. For example, I don’t see mathematicians, the IQ of which is typically 140+, walking around with that emblazoned on their shirts. I’ve known 3 mathematically brilliant friends and most people would have no idea about their brilliance because they don’t broadcast it. There are also sorts of unusual people in this world and most of them live their daily lives without making a big deal about their idiosyncrasies. I don’t like playing Dr. Freud but the public displays, the narcissism, the demand for recognition of their idiosyncrasies, points to narcissism, and a deep, possibly unconscious insecurity arising from the fact that they don’t feel right and will never feel right.

See what you’ve done! You’ve made me breach one of my heuristics! Playing Dr. Freud! Damn you, damn you to hell!

Have a nice day.

This philosophical approach is part of why conservatives might be rock ribbed but continually concede ground. That’s not a personal slight against you, it is a problem that has existed since at least the UK Labor Party initiated the welfare state.

Conservationism has no core beliefs other than to slowdown progressives and only slowing them down. I can’t understand why conservatives here are surprised that the conservative right is always playing halvies with left-wing policy views. It’s always, always setting things up to fail. That’s what conservationism is and has always been.

Hayek, about conservatives.

“… conservatives have been guided by the belief that the truth must lie somewhere between the extremes—with the result that they have shifted their position every time a more extreme movement appeared on either wing.

“The position which can be rightly described as conservative at any time depends, therefore, on the direction of existing tendencies.”

Eggfreakingsactly. As the left becomes more extreme, conservatives eventually give in for the simply reason of trying to play the middle course, which never works. The left drgas them along for the ride, whining and bitching all the way.

“Since the development during the last decades has been generally in a socialist direction, it may seem that both conservatives and liberals have been mainly intent on retarding that movement.”

Yep, just slowing it down.

And then we wonder why conservatives offer just piecemeal nonsense.

“This fear of trusting uncontrolled social forces is closely related to two other characteristics of conservatism: its fondness for authority and its lack of understanding of economic forces. Since [conservatism] distrusts both abstract theories and general principles, it neither understands those spontaneous forces on which a policy of freedom relies nor possesses a basis for formulating principles of policy. Order appears to the conservative as the result of the continuous attention of authority, which, for this purpose, must be allowed to do what is required by the particular circumstances and not be tied to rigid rule. A commitment to principles presupposes an understanding of the general forces by which the efforts of society are co-ordinated, but it is such a theory of society and especially of the economic mechanism that conservatism conspicuously lacks.”

Conservatives here are upset because the Liberal party doesn’t have guiding prici0ples. Of course it doesn’t because as Hayek said:

“Conservatives feel instinctively that it is new ideas more than anything else that cause change. But, from its point of view rightly, conservatism fears new ideas because it has no distinctive principles of its own to oppose them; and, by its distrust of theory and its lack of imagination concerning anything except that which experience has already proved, it deprives itself of the weapons needed in the struggle of ideas. Unlike liberalism, with its fundamental belief in the long-range power of ideas, conservatism is bound by the stock of ideas inherited at a given time. And since it does not really believe in the power of argument, its last resort is generally a claim to superior wisdom, based on some self-arrogated superior quality.”

Much more here:

https://www.econlib.org/hayek-was-not-a-conservative-heres-why/

Don’t be a thoughtless conservative, grip classic liberalism with every limb and run with it.

Along that spectrum of liquids is Hydrofluoric Acid. The craze of throwing buckets of water at coppers doing their job hasn’t died out.
The issue is that the first bucket contains water, same as with the second, third, and fourth. The fifth contains acid of any kind, but the threat was made of using hydroflouric acid which is not amenable to normal first aid treatment.
The whole throwing of liquids is to set up the belief that the liquids are harmless and the victim doesn’t react until the damage is done.
For my money, the person who throws any liquid at another should be treated as a deadly threat with the person throwing the liquid able to be stopped by using deadly force.

I definitely believe that women have a right to female only spaces, and not just to those which deal with decency and modesty.

I also definitely believe that men have a right to male only spaces, to clubs, men’s sheds and men only wards in hospital.

Perhaps it’s Karma that women, (who in the 70’s, started all this divisiveness by demanding not only equality, but superiority over males,) are suffering intrusion into their spaces by deluded men who demand to be treated as women. But even more ludicrous are the men and women who violently support this debacle, and the Montys who support them.

I never felt the need in the 70’s to be liberated: I’d been treated kindly and very fairly all my life. In 2023, I, along with millions of my sex, feel more threatened, hated and diminished than ever before.

Aren’t the Greens just poison.

The Greens have secured a bloody-minded victory over Labor that will impose high costs on energy producers and the economy in a way that does not apply to our international competitors.

The deal makes a value judgment that fossil fuel emissions cannot be offset by other measures. And it applies a new bureaucratic and legal stranglehold on all future developments that will make it all but impossible for them to proceed.

Adam Bandt was not exaggerating when he said coal and gas had “taken a huge hit”. He said the Greens had stopped many of the 116 new coal and gas projects in the pipeline from going ahead. The other certainty from what has been agreed to pass the federal government’s safeguards mechanism is that this is the beginning, not the end.

Anyone want to repeat the word “uniparty”?

Speaking after the party room meeting, Mr Pesutto said Ms Deeming had provided new information early on Monday, including “condemnation of the types of conduct” in social media activity by key speakers at the rally.

“The new material she supplied this morning opened the doorway to a sensible proposal that I put to the party room that saw her accept the nine months [suspension], losing the party whip position as well,” he said.

“Given Moira had provided what I had been seeking and recognised why it was important to do that,” he said.

“The conduct that I wanted condemned has been condemned.”

How ironic to see this worm turn. As far as I can recall, all men have been hearing from women that it’s sexist and hateful to have men-only clubs and associations, to the point where laws have been passed to sanction this terrible thing. I’m just curious as what happens with this pronoun bullshit in languages like French, Italian and Spanish for instance where there is feminine and masculine? Has it caught on, as it would create some really weird language crap.

It causes agony in gendered languages – particularly when the pronoun has to agree with adjectives as well as nouns.

The French are sweating creating new non-gendered pronouns (last I heard ‘ile’, or ‘illi’) because Frog has no equivalent of neuter ‘they’ – but the knock on language complications remain because the noun/adjective/article choice is still gendered.

French wokesters will be identifiable by speaking rubbish, or a language all of their own.

If a $100 trillion bill is not enough, how about some cheese?

By Gabriele Steinhauser and Bernard Mpofu
The Wall Street Journal

On a recent afternoon, Rutendo Manyowa handed over a $US5 note to pay for her $3.50 order of chicken, chips and a soft drink at a fast-food joint in the Zimbabwean capital, Harare. But instead of $1.50 change, the cashier handed Manyowa three slips of paper, bearing the restaurant’s name and the amount of money she could use to buy her next meal.

Zimbabwe, the country that brought the world the 100 trillion dollar bill, has reached a new stage of monetary dysfunction.

Because of a lack of small change, businesses have started printing their own “money” – scraps of paper, sometimes handwritten, that customers can use to pay for future purchases. Others are handing out change in kind – juice boxes, pens or slices of cheese.
Read Next

The paper chits and other pecuniary workarounds are the latest products of two decades of extreme mismanagement of Zimbabwe’s currency.

It started in the early 2000s, when the government of then-president Robert Mugabe printed ever more money in an attempt to compensate for a collapse in agricultural production that followed a controversial land-redistribution effort. After monthly inflation peaked, by one measure, at 79.6 billion per cent, the government in 2009 abolished the Zimbabwe dollar and began using US dollars.

Soon the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe could not meet the demand for US dollars. Money stored in bank accounts couldn’t be withdrawn in cash and, in 2019, the central bank reintroduced the Zimbabwe dollar, changing US dollar-denominated savings and domestic government debts into a local currency of rapidly declining value.

Today, $1 costs more than $900 Zimbabwe and inflation is at 230 per cent. Most businesses once again demand payments in US dollars, although the Zimbabwe dollar remains the country’s official currency.

That’s where the issue of change comes in. Zimbabwean commercial banks and the central bank import US dollar bills for local use, but their heavy weight and low value makes flying in coins from overseas uneconomical.

One dollar notes – the most widely used bills in a country where even before the pandemic almost 40 per cent of people lived on less than $1.80 a day – are also often in short supply.

The paper IOUs have proven an unsatisfactory fix. For starters, they aren’t mutually interchangeable. College student Manyowa, 23, spent 15 minutes waiting by the till of a Harare Chicken Inn until another customer paid with a $1 bill she could use for the bus fare home.

Australia’s best business newsletter. Get the edge with AM and PM briefings, plus breaking news alerts in your inbox.

“It’s frustrating,” she said.

In contrast to bank notes, which are usually made from cotton or plastic, paper chits also can’t withstand an extended spin in the washing machine.

Adelaide Moyo, a newspaper journalist, says she has more than once found the faded remnants of vouchers from Chicken Inn or the local franchise of Netherlands-based supermarket chain Spar stuck to her clothes when she pulls them out of the wash.

To avoid such losses, Moyo has accepted slices of cheese, extra sauce and, once, a hard-boiled egg instead. Those barter trades usually don’t offer good value for money, like the slice of cheese that cost her 50 cents, but, she says, they’re better than carrying around, or losing, vouchers from multiple places. “You’d rather just get the food,” she said.

Zimbabwe’s malfunctioning currency has forced businesses to become creative, says Warren Meares, the chief executive of Simbisa Brands, which owns Chicken Inn and several other fast-food chains.

The rapid devaluation of the Zimbabwean dollar has made it too costly to constantly reprint menus, which show prices in both US dollars and the local currency, so the company installed TV screens to display meals and their prices. “It was costing us almost $2000 to $3000 every time you had to change prices,” said Meares.

Simbisa’s vouchers have serial numbers and are replaced every six months to avoid them getting too worn out. Although they lack the safety features of bank notes, Meares says he’s not aware of any attempts to forge the 25c and 50c chits.

“We’re not going to accept more than $3 or $4 worth of vouchers from you,” he said. “It’s not worth it.”

The company has also launched an app, called InnBucks, that allows customers to receive change via a smartphone.

The chits issued by Spar feature an intricate pattern and holograms. The supermarket chain has had to replace the electronic tags on its shelves because the old ones ran out of digits. Smaller stores keep a book with the names of customers they owe money behind the counter or scrawl on receipts. Some clients, fearing that a shopkeeper won’t remember, have taken to filming those exchanges.

Harare-based economist Gift Mugano says that despite the chits’ drawbacks, most Zimbabweans still prefer them to getting their change in local currency.

“People don’t trust the government,” he said. “But the very same people trust the private sector. If I’m given a token in a fast-food restaurant, I know tomorrow when I come back it is accepted.”

Bank cards aren’t widely used, as many Zimbabweans now withdraw their salaries in US dollars the moment it hits their account.

“Zimbabweans have got this fun name. They’re calling it NMB bank,” said Mugano. “National Mattress Bank.”

Spent the day working through this.

Our conclusion: the Government and advisers have either misunderstood their own safeguard mechanism and fallen into a Bandt Trap, or are happy to be pressured into destroying Australia’s energy security.

You will hear more of this.

Anyone want to repeat the word “uniparty”?

According to Mr Hayek all we did was fast forward the same capitulation by the Libs within 5-10 years.

Though I do agree, the Libs are useless at staking out any position as “the hill to die on”.

If Howard had reversed the Mabo legislation (remember, there was no judgement over the mainland, only one section of the Torres Straight until Keating legislated it as Australia wide).
No rivers of munni, no uni whiteant departments of grievance gurus and Aboriginals would have been the same as everyone else.
Now we are faced with race based aristocracy and the insatiable call for more and more munni to preserve a portion of the population in squalor to justify it.

Imagine that – the fundamental proposition of land tenure became something done and dusted never to be revisited.

Oh look – its one of these right wing troublemakers fighting a culture war…

The State Library of New South Wales’s state librarian and chief executive has signalled he will retire, amid staff unrest over senior management and the acquisition of a controversial painting of Country Liberal senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price.

Dr John Vallance, who served as principal of the prestigious Sydney Grammar School for almost two decades before the Liberal government appointed him to one of the state’s most senior public service positions, told library staff in an email dated 14 February that he would leave “sometime in July or August” to concentrate “on my own work”.

The email also said his interim position as acting CEO of Museums of History, the new flagship cultural institution created by the Perrottet government, was concluding in June “and there is no plan to extend that”.

“Contrary to one rumour I have heard, I do not wish to ‘jump ship’,” Vallance wrote in the email.

Staff at the State Library of NSW told the Guardian that the atmosphere in the 197-year-old institution has been fraught recently, particularly over the library’s decision to buy a portrait of Price painted by the Australian’s chief cartoonist Johannes Leak.
Several staff members, including some First Nations employees, allegedly told Vallance they were offended by the decision to buy the portrait of the Northern Territory senator, which a library spokesperson confirmed to the Guardian had cost $20,000.

Price, a Warlpiri/Celtic woman who is a conservative Country Liberal senator for the Northern Territory calls herself “unafraid to call it like it is”, and is a vocal critic of the Indigenous voice to parliament
….
The spokesperson did not confirm or deny that Vallance had told staff the painting would not be displayed to the public when asked by the Guardian, but said that members of the public could request to view it by signing up for a special collections card and making an appointment.

The winning portrait.. by “Blak Douglas”, hes an Aboriginal dont you know?

Angry Kez is a dishonest little worm.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission says it has found no evidence to support claims that Capilano’s ‘Allowrie’ honey was adulterated, although honey testing methods remain under the spotlight.

The investigation followed allegations in the media that a number of honey products including Capilano’s ‘Allowrie’ honey, labelled ‘pure’ and ‘100 per cent honey’, were adulterated with sugar syrup.

and

The ACCC’s investigation found Capilano had taken steps to provide assurance, and did not uncover any other evidence that supported the allegation Capilano’s Allowrie honey was adulterated with sugar syrup.

“During the course of our investigation however, it also became evident that there is low confidence in the current test method (the C4 test) used to detect adulterated honey,” ACCC deputy chair Mick Keogh said.

“Governments and research agencies around the world are investigating alternative testing methods, including NMR, but these are not yet developed to the point they can be used with sufficient confidence.”

Maybe caught out on the security Xray machine, he was noted going into the female toilets, followed in by black female security guards, and claims to have been punched in his female balls by one of these guards. On matters of sensitivity, following on from my comment on what Tomcats here know to be a very sensitive part of male-to-female anatomy, I really do wish that the ‘sensitivity’ readers would lay off old treasures like Agatha Christie and Enid Blyton.

The class, race, ethnicity and gender expressions found in the authentic albeit outmoded language of their day is part of the charm of reading into another world and its old-fashioned ways. The attitudes as written are integral to the plots and situations, giving integrity to the characters and thus enabling the readers’ suspension of critique or even disbelief.

If they did this to P.G. Wodehouse there would be nothing left of his artful creations.
And the literary world would be so much the poorer for that.

Yesterday, peering into the pit dug into the shell of a house left next door, I noticed one of our fledgies sitting on the scaffolding, proudly holding a wiggling insect in its beak. He/she was trying to kill it with little bashes on the metal and I held my breath for I could see disaster looming, as it did. The fledgie dropped the insect and flew down into the mud and rocks below desperately searching for the lost treasure. No luck. All disappeared and one very disappointed bird with a lesson learned.
An insect in the beak is ok eaten wriggling. It is, after all, what their mum used to poke down their throats in the nest.

Trans peope have always existed, I said that and we here know that. They were rare, seen as brave by many, and accepted if they existed in their chosen gender without palava.. In the male-to-female category, Jan Morris, the travel writer who was once John Morris, is a case in point that many here would remember. So is Catherine McGregor in the Australian Defense Forces, who clearly states that in her new gender she is not a true woman, just more comfortable living as a woman. Kelly-Jay Keen, aka Posie Parker, would agree with that choice, reserving the title of woman to a born woman and the rest as a form of play-acting which should not take place in women-only spaces.

With the present widespread social encouragement of transgenderism as some sort of unevidenced biological imperative it is quite reasonable to see it a social contagion, a form of disordered mental processes, especially when offered to susceptible young people. When it is a parade of male genitals in female spaces it is a crime known as exhibitionism, or worse. When it takes over female sporting achievements, it is a crime known as fraud.

Many Cats in this thread have stated that it is really about denying that trans people exist. They want to classify it as a mental illness and/or crime,

Nobody here has denied that blokes who believe they’re ‘really’ women exist, and vice versa. Nobody here has called it a crime. Most of us think it’s a mental illness; just as we’d think that a bloke who believed he was ‘really’ Napoleon had a mental illness.

If your brain is telling you something which is false, you have a mental illness. It’s happened to me several times. In each case a woman was involved, and my brain told me that she was the most beautiful, kind, generous, sexy and intelligent woman in the world. In each case it took around two years for sanity to return, whereupon I realised that although a pleasant enough lass, she was not outstandingly so.

I can understand why mother nature should befuddle my brain with hormones to make me temporarily insane, while I don’t understand why the old bat should make someone think he’s Napoleon, nor someone else think he’s a woman. But in all cases, the poor victim is transparently off his chump. In my case, while under the influence I made absurd promises which no sane man would ever make, and in one case it led to babies. Which is why mother nature sent me off my chump, no doubt. Why make a bloke believe he’s a woman I have no idea. But he isn’t a new kind of human being who automatically gets pandered to, he’s just a bloke who’s brain is lying to him. That is, a bloke with a mental illness. We should be kind to him, and try to discourage his delusion, although it probably wouldn’t work. I don’t suppose I’d have paid much attention if someone had taken me aside and told me the ladies concerned were amiable but fairly commonplace. Certainly, encouraging the delusion can have very bad effects, and is not recommended.

You surely don’t believe what you say here. But then, you’re a postmodernist who doesn’t believe in anything. Except power, and being fashionable in an already obsolete way.

Monty: Gaols are probably also a subject in which I would agree with you lot given the amount of violence that goes on there as a matter of course. As for the rest, nup, existing laws on assault can cover that.

So, sport and gaols are now understandable places to remain fully female. Thank you, Monty, for conceding that in a rights argument someone has to lose out.

While you haven’t as yet spelt out exactly why your position aligns with a number of commenters here, I would suggest that you can see that in both instances the female, being physically weaker, is being put at a major disadvantage.

In the case of sport, despite training and dedication to the highest level possible, against someone born male and remaining male until after puberty, that female would have no chance of success, ever.

And in incarceration; every one of the people housed in those places has committed a crime – some very serious, violent crimes – including the transgender person. That puts at risk the inmates. The duty of care the prison authorities have to the inmates should be enough to acknowledge the risk to female prisoners.

Now, what about female refuges and change rooms? FYI, when I go to the beach, the toilets include a section, which must first be passed through, where females strip in front of others into their swimmers and return to shower and change. Those facilities are used by mothers and children as well. Would you be happy for a male to enter such a place and undress in front of those females because they claim transgender status?

Monty:

But that’s not really what this is all about, is it? Many Cats in this thread have stated that it is really about denying that trans people exist. They want to classify it as a mental illness and/or crime, to purge trans people from society. It is not about protecting women at all. It is about bullying and persecuting a minority.

Some facts:

A lot of them ARE mentally ill and vulnerable, particularly the children.
Many kids who are forced to wait for gender reassignment find out they are simply gay and had body dismorphia as they didn’t consider they were gay – they don’t have gender reassignment and are happier for it.
People who undergo gender reassignment tend to decline in terms of mental health and suicide.
A lot of the abuses of transgender rights aren’t even genuine, they’re just cynical perverts – re male rapists in female prisons or “Jessica” Yaniv’s parent free trans teen pool party. I mean come on dude.
I don’t have to call anyone anything I don’t want to unless they have something I want, I am in court or the military. Criminalising someone’s belief that trans people aren’t legit is stupid. Even if it is legitimate there are so many frauds and attention grabbing sociopaths. Are you REALLY going to make people go before a tribunal for not calling a hairy armed and legged, 5 o clock shadow man in a dress without bottom surgery, a “woman”?
For the people who are intersex or genuinely have body dismorphia, I feel sorry for them. They are cases where gender reassignment may be the most appropriate care, but it should wait until they are adults. It is truly irreversible and sterilises the person.
If the genuine cases were not swamped with things like the perverts in prison or Jessica Yaniv, the medically justifiable cases would get a lot more respect and compassion.
They are unlikely to be attention grabbing sociopaths.
They may feel they have a right to use their new gender bathroom, but since they are genuine and would like their privacy respected, perhaps third bathrooms are a good compromise.
We should look at if there is any cause to a rising rate in intersex or body dismorphia if the upward trend exists at all. Is there an environmental factor we are missing?

If I call a man I don’t respect a woman or a girl, should I go to the ADB/ADC as well?

Basically it goes down to criminalising name calling. This is not a legitimate public concern. Why is it illegal to “dead name” someone but not call them a F^%$wit, a danger to children or others, or themselves, mild defamation, incompetent, dumb or useless, a SINK, too fat to get remarried or a used up old slut?

What a rampant waste of taxes the public worked hard to earn and pay.
