In comes the gormless JC cheer squad – right on schedule. I can’t believe what an oxygen thief this cretin is.

Watters, Bongino, Tucker, Judge Janine etc have rightfully described bragg’s indictment as a disgrace with no legal substance and that they expect it to get short shrift. Unfortunately the Judge, Juan Merchan, from Columbia, is fanatically antithetical to Trump. If the case is not dismissed, it will be heard before a jury of ratbag NY citizens who are 87% partisan. It may be that justice will occur after conviction with appeal to the SC. But Watters raised another couple of issues. Firstly, biden has done this; secondly, appearing at the court, on regular, known in advance dates and times will make Trump a prime assassination target. In any event the court hearings will dovetail the 24 POTUS process. It’s win/win for the demorats.

I was down at the Purebloods Only Donation Station, hoping they didn’t mix the labels up.

I’m betting you discovered that the labels contained information like:-
– collection date;
– expiry date;
– blood type;
– quantity;
– collection label number.
I can’t remember the rest but what it does not contain is the vax status of the donor.
Which makes Tickler’s alleged demands nothing more than time wasting posturing.

This is the big threat now to Trump: a partisan, ideological judge who personally hates Trump:

Yes it is.
Procedural shit will be deployed against his natural tendency to communicate his personal outrage.

The DA’s office has set that up nicely:

A New York judge warned former President Donald Trump not to incite violence, following concerns raised by prosecutors accusing Trump of making statements that threatened “our city, our justice system, our courts, and our office.”

Whether or not it’s a real threat, avoiding the offence may be too hard to do for the Orange Man.

At the moment I am not going to comply flat out. Attorney Generals Page has nothing about supplying details periodically.
Anyone else get this from their bank?

I got one from Linkt, the road toll outfit. I didn’t follow the link but logged in the usual way and saw nothing there to confirm the email so I deleted it.

Soon after that I got one from Westpac which I trashed right away as I don’t bank with them.

A couple of weeks ago I even got one from My.gov so I rang them and they said it’s not them.

Rule of thumb, anything with a ‘click here’ link is a scam. If they were on the level you would be advised to log in the usual way.

Embattled former television personality Andrew O’Keefe has returned to court after he allegedly drove with meth in his system.

‘Embattled’ is not the word I was looking for.

The 51-year-old was driving his grey Mercedes C200 through the exclusive Sydney suburb of Point Piper when he was stopped by police on January 20.

He underwent a random roadside breath test just after midnight which returned a positive result for methamphetamine.

Kimberley records highest rate of gonorrhoea in WA, Department of Health reveals
Cain AndrewsBroome Advertiser
Wed, 5 April 2023 4:10PM
Comments

Experts are urging Kimberley residents to get tested after it was revealed the region has the highest rate of gonorrhoea in the State, according to the Department of Health, as syphilis cases in WA reach a 10-year high.

Gonorrhoea was the second most common sexually transmissible infection in the State with the rate of the disease higher in the Kimberley than in any other region in WA.

Infection rates were 12 times higher in Aboriginal people when compared with their non-Aboriginal counterparts with infections peaking in the 15 to 24 years of age cohort.

It comes as syphilis cases in WA reached a 10-year high with more than 842 cases of the infection detected in the State last year alone.

Department of Health sexual health and blood-borne virus program manager Lisa Bastian said rates of syphilis remained high in 2022.

“Unless diagnosed and treated, people can carry the infection for many years and spread the infection,” she said.

“The syphilis infection can damage your brain, heart and other parts of your body. Even if you have no sores or other signs of syphilis, it can still be damaging your body.”

Syphilis is especially dangerous for pregnant women with 42 contracting the disease last year, three of which tragically ended in stillbirths.

“We encourage pregnant women to get tested early and often through their pregnancy to keep themselves and their unborn children safe,” Ms Bastian said.

With the two infections also common overseas the Department of Health is urging anyone who engages in sexual activity while overseas to take an STI test once they return home.

The voice will solve all these problems, won’t it?

Got one of those MYGOV scam msgs .. “We’ve been auditing our records and we owe you $937.66 … ”

On scams:

I’ve recently received a letter from a UK solicitor handling an ancient aunt’s will. For some unknown reason she left me £200.

I have to provide a solicitor-certified copy of two documents identifying me and my address and have the documents returned by the solicitor. The letter tells me that solicitors will usually do this simple task for £10.

This morning I rocked into a local solicitor’s office (for convenience) expecting the $20 special offer, only to be told that the minimum billing unit for this complex process was one (1) hour at $425.

If I don’t perform, probate will go on apparently indefinitely at £20/six minutes per follow-up (although there’s always a lucrative UK court process to rule me unresponsive) which will greatly annoy my cousins.

I ended up calling in a favour from a partner at one of the firms I do business with – which involved two taxi fares and lunch.

I deeply, deeply hate the law trade.

This stuff about the BRICS trying to make a go of it without using the Dollar and therefore the Dollar will lose its reserve status really makes me laugh.

They can likely transact in their respective currencies but challenging reserve status is another whole ball of wax. Reserve status means that people want to hold your currency.

BRIC stands for Brazil, Russia, India and China.

Which of those currencies would you want to hold in place of the greenback for safekeeping?

Let me answer for you . None.

How about about gold.

If gold was to challenge the buck you’d have to explain how trade in goods and services will be conducted in gold as easily as the dollar. Also, if gold was to challenge the dollar, why isn’t it trading at $5,000 an ounce or much more instead of basically languishing here (~US$2,000)?

I’ll answer for you. It’s not going to challenge the Dollar.

Suppressed History of India’s Ancient Weapons. It is generally believed that Indians did not know about guns and gunpowder. Many experts claim this is the reason why foreigners overpowered Indians, however, that is not true. A series of evidences clearly point out that Ancient Indians used Guns, Bombs, and other advanced weapons. Watch before it gets DELETED.*

*sussietube has given him some grief over the subject matter in his clips….a story for another day.

10:13 – Ancient proof for Grenades
10:48 – Time Bombs are not new
12:16 – Conclusion

Hey guys, today I am going to show you some solid evidence of advanced weapons from ancient India.
Yes, what you are looking at is a carving of a gun, a rifle. If you look carefully, you can clearly see that he is loading a gun, this was the old-fashioned way of loading a gun, where you had to put gunpowder through the barrel and then stick a piper from the top. And you can see that he is doing exactly that in this carving in an ancient Indian temple. Of course, immediately your mind is filled with doubt, isn’t it? Is this ancient carving really showing a gun? Maybe it is something else, because ancient Indians could not have used guns, right? So perhaps it is just some other weapon like a spear, or even an iron rod or something.
But here is another carving in a different temple. There is a bearded man on a horse, and he is ready to pull out his sword. But look below him, what is this guy holding? He is clearly holding a gun and is pointing at the horse rider. There should be absolutely no doubt in your mind that this is a gun, because look at his eyes. He has closed his left eye and has opened his right eye, and aiming for the enemy’s heart. If he fires the bullet, this man is dead instantly, right? Yet, he is not shown wearing modern clothes or even medieval clothes, he is shown with just a loin cloth in his waist, and his hairdo resembles the ancient Indian hairstyle. But, if guns were invented by Europeans just 600 years ago, why do we see ancient Indian carvings showing guns? Are these carvings really ancient?
Look at this one, it is now in the archeology museum of Kakinada. There is no official plaque or signboard next to it, but it is said to be 1,000 years old. If guns did exist in India before 600 years, why were they not mentioned in ancient Indian texts, right?
Let me read from a text called Manusmriti, historians say this text is about 2000 years old. In chapter 7, it says:
“No one should use concealed weapons, barbed arrows, poisoned arrows, or projectiles kindled by fire. “Projectiles kindled by fire? That is a gun, right? I mean what else could it be? Why would something like this be written in a 2000-year-old text?
Another Indian text called Naisadha Charita also talks about guns. Experts confirm that it was written in 12th century. The author compares a woman’s elevated nostrils to a pair of guns. In fact, many Ancient Indian texts clearly mention Guns, it was called Naalika in Sanskrit language.

A crazy, noisy experience. They have to anaesthetise the claustrophobes.

I find PET scan far more alarming. You are hooked up to an intravenous needle that delivers radioactive contrast, you are strapped in, told not to move and then sealed in a room. After a while the intravenous needle retracts automatically and the scanning goes on for about forty minutes. You can’t move or do anything during the whole time.

Then to top it all off, I’m in a dressing room getting into my clothes when the Band-Aid pops and there is blood everywhere. However, the result was good – cancer free.

Victor Davis Hanson is spot on as usual with this trip through the forgettery.

Indict One—And All?

Were the opposition to match tit-for-tat these Democrat means, then the republic would quickly descend into a spiral of illegality and chaos analogous to what ended the late Roman Republic. That fact is well known to the new hard-left Democrat Party. So it has assumed the role of the spoiled teen who feels he has a blank check of lawless behavior that his parents would not dare emulate, given that for adults to do so would destroy the family.

In other words, the Left is saying to America something along the following lines, “We are so morally superior to you that we can and must employ any means necessary to achieve our unpopular political ends. But you cannot respond in kind or deter us by mimicking our own tactics, because should both parties do so, the resulting disorder would undermine the republic. And that is something you won’t dare do.”

The Backlash against Indicting Trump Maybe Greater Than Anyone Thinks

As I watched the media coverage of Trump’s arraignment, not guilty plea, and release of the indictment with the charges I’ve concluded as you have been arguing that we have crossed the rubicon. The 34 counts of the indictment to my legally untrained mind read as the criminalization of standard politics. What political campaign doesn’t include hiring people to look out for potentially negative press and seeking to limit the candidate’s exposure? By this indictment’s standard, pretty much every political campaign is a criminal enterprise. This is insane. I’ve generally been more libertarian-leaning in my politics and didn’t vote for Trump and even I can see this is a joke. I’ll be voting for him if we get an election in 2024. Unfortunately for the rest of us it isn’t funny and essentially seals the fate of the nation going into 2027-28 as you’ve indicated. Thanks for keeping us informed during these tumultuous times.
All the best from East Texas,
Greg

COMMENT #2: Good evening Mr. Martin,

As I’m watching this Trump shitshow on live french tv I’m wondering…

It seems that he got out to free, waiting for the trial that won’t take place before the next election.
Can he still run for presidency?
If yes, the fact that he is not in jail, does this mean that the deep state has no choice but to go to war as soon as possible ?

By the way, the French minister of defense announced today that the limit age to be on the reserve army is now 70 years old… that alone is telling a lot !

Despite all this news, the cac40 and Dax are almost at their ath. It is a mystery for I was expecting the capital to go to the US already…

REPLY: I can’t even count all the emails coming one. Many are from those who never voted for Trump and all say that they would now vote for him in 2024. I myself must admit that I had thought Trump had gone past the “Best by Date” but instead of this hurting Trump, it seems to be boosting his support. When I look at the computer and even just the chart patterns, we can easily see that the Democrats are in a major decline and they have not even reached the Downtrend Line whereas the Republicans have broken through.

Even the Arrays showed an important Directional Change in 2023. This indictment of Trump is outrageous and it will backfire on the Democrats according to the computer – NOT my personal opinion.

Goodness. I don’t know. Dun dun DUNNNN….

He is clearly holding a gun and is pointing at the horse rider. There should be absolutely no doubt in your mind that this is a gun, because look at his eyes.

Read that last sentence again. It’s a gun because eyes.

He has closed his left eye and has opened his right eye, and aiming for the enemy’s heart.

But is he really? Aiming for the enemy’s heart?

If he fires the bullet, this man is dead instantly, right?

Instantly? Righto then. It is abundantly clear that Mr Praveen continues to be heavily influenced by Bollywood. He may as well say ‘He is clearly about to break into song.’

Rosie, I wonder how long it will be before switching radio stations while driving is an “offence”.

The New Broom was fined recently for parking supposedly less than 10 metres from a corner. He was behind the building alignment. There was no way of defending the fine, it was the parking inspector’s word against his.

Also, beware of parking too close to double lines. You’ll be pinged, regardless of lack of signage.

Last time I was in hospital I was mad as hell and wasn’t going to take it anymore.
Going into theatre the anaesthetist says, “We’re just going to give you a little local anaesthetic at first, then …”
“Let me stop you right there!” I said. “Do you know who I am?”, pointing to the Gold DVA card taped to my forehead.
“I served my country well* and am entitled to five star treatment! None of your local anaesthetic for me. I’m having imported anaesthetic! And no transfusions from Asians either!”
They were speechless in the face of my fearless defence of my rights.

Ukrainian Refugees in Munich – A Real Crisis

COMMENT: Hi Martin,

I live in a commute in Munich in a nice neighborhood, I pay around 700 EUR rent for the smallest room, but we have a garden – and live with a few Ukrainians. They are very nice, seem like reasonable folks.
What I’m worried about though is the refugee system we have in place here in Bavaria. I wanted to move to another room, but I couldn’t: was kind of too expensive, 800 EUR/month. Guess who took it, another Ukrainian – of course, the state is paying it (“Arbeitsamt”). The crazy thing is that I’m having trouble with inflation and because I additionally have to pay taxes so that Ukrainians can live in the most luxurious room of the house for more than a year already. I would have no problem supporting them for a few months. But the thing is, a year has passed and they don’t even bother to search for work. They just go to German classes a few times a week. And spend most of the day talking and chilling in the kitchen. All of that while Munich is desperately searching for labour.

I also heard from sources, that they don’t really seem to be interested to work. A contact of mine offered them work, but they told him they can’t, as they are too busy learning German. Which I don’t understand, I see them all the time having fun in our kitchen. They don’t even really seem to learn German, one of them can’t say more than “Guten Tag” after one year of German classes…
Additionally, it seems like they are getting money from the state for leisure. As far as I have seen, they already went more often for traveling this past year through Europe than me. What I don’t understand, they also seem to be traveling back and forth to Ukraine to visit friends and family. I don’t get it, I thought that country was at war.
All in all, I think it’s good to help refugees. But when I have to suffer so that I can pay them to rent the best rooms in the house, while they have fun and are chilling in the kitchen, travel around Europe, even go visit their family in Ukraine while at war, and all that for more than a year, then the system doesn’t seem to be very fair to me, something doesn’t add up.
Best,

J

REPLY: I am getting emails from all over describing the same problem. First, it was the pretend Syrian Refugees. The government even paid for them to take vacations. It just seems that we have the MOST unqualified people in governments everywhere. In France, it is merely the extension of the Yellow Vests, not simply about pensions. We see turmoil in Canada, and even in Britain. These countries treat their own people like slaves. The Biden Administration only wants to raise taxes on Americans to pay for funding the entire Ukrainian government paying all salaries of government workers and their pensions! Why would Zelensky ever want to seek peace if the money stopped flowing as a consequence?

We seem to be building into what the computer has been forecasting – a major wave of Civil Unrest on a global scale in the West.”

I wish that you decided to contest it anyway. Take photos. Produce a record of infringements or a lack thereof. Argue about reasonableness. Take measurements. Challenge the judgment of the parking inspector and challenge them if they got out a tape measure. Argue it administratively before challenging it in court.

If everyone did, they couldn’t do it to us and they’d have to pull their head in regarding serious cases (like majority verdicts and retrying people multiple times) as the log jam would force priorities.

But, when the thing is eventually thrown out Rowe will be depicting it as a miscarriage of justice.

Do the people who read the Fin Review believe the things Rowe does? It would be be a pretty poor reflection on Australian business if they did.

From Haute Crapper

A GROUP OF AUSTRALIAN Indigenous people has lodged human rights grievances with 12 Australian and international banks urging them to withdraw a $1 billion loan to Santos Ltd (STO) for its Barossa offshore gas project.

Environmental and Indigenous groups have been campaigning for years against the $3.6 billion project off northern Australia, and a top court order in December asked Santos to consult Indigenous people on the Tiwi Islands about the project’s environmental plan.

Six Tiwi Islands Traditional Owners and one Larrakia Traditional Owner filed human rights grievances with 12 Australian and international banks, with the assistance of Equity Generation Lawyers, a law firm active in climate-related cases, the group said in a statement to the media.

Santos did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The complainants are calling on the banks to pull out from the US$1 billion (A$1.5 billion) loan to the Barossa project, and not to participate in a proposed loan for the related Darwin LNG project.

The complaints were sent to Australia’s top four banks: ANZ (ANZ) , Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) , National Australia Bank (NAB) and Westpac (WBC) . The banks did not immediately respond to emailed requests for comment.

The complaints were also sent to a number of overseas financial institutions and export credit agencies in Europe, North America, Japan and South Korea.

The complainants said Indigenous people have deep spiritual connections to the Tiwi Islands and Larrakia country, and the Santos project would disrupt their songlines, sacred sites and cultural practices.

Santos had to suspend drilling on the Barossa project, which is about 140 km (87 miles) north of the Tiwi Islands, in September after a judge found that an environmental approval was invalid because the company had not properly consulted the Munupi clan.

Equity Generation Lawyers said it had asked the complaints’ recipients to respond by May 16. ($1 = 1.4756 Australian dollars)

A comment:

Just remember, the from the highest point of the Tiwi Islands, the furthest you would be able to see out to sea would be about 43 kilometers.

Being 140klms away from shore, I find it hard to believe this area played much role in their traditional practices but I’d be all for dropping these vexatious litigators off out there so they could show us.

Re MRI’s which put you into a tunnel with a noise like a concrete mixer going on around you. If you are only getting your legs or lower half done in them then they are bearable, as you can go in feet first and keep your head out in the open. I don’t know how representative of actual popular opinion the cartoonists Tom posts are. They might just be the big publications and perhaps smaller (boutique, surely) ones are more circumspect. Or maybe the Brits are stuck with most of their cartoonists being like Rowe – simplistic and ill-informed despite the publication that pays them.

‘Great Judas betrayal’: Pearson blasts Liberals

One of the architects of the Uluru statement Noel Pearson has described Opposition Leader Peter Dutton as the “undertaker” trying to kill and bury Uluru.

He spoke of the great “Judas betrayal” in the lead-up to Easter.

“I couldn’t sleep last night. I was troubled by dreams and the spectre of the Dutton Liberal party’s Judas betrayal of our country. They’ve had 11 years of power to work on a proper proposal for recognition. And the decision they’ve taken yesterday is a very poor outcome of 11 years of power,” he told ABC Radio National.

“I see the leader of the Liberal party Mr Dutton as an undertaker preparing the grave to bury Uluru. It is a very sad day for Australia, that we can’t have bipartisanship for a very important national enterprise … that we’re pursuing over the next six months.

“Nevertheless, I am certain that every attempt to try and kill Uluru and bury it will not succeed, the Australian people will rise to the historic opportunity we have achieved conciliation at last.”

He said the Liberal Party was even betraying its own past policies.

“They never did it. I see what they’re doing today as a great betrayal because they are betraying their own policy and their own previous commitments and I think that we’ve got to understand that the Australian people, it lies in their hands now,” he said.

He said it was 18 million votes of Australians versus “17 miserable votes on the opposition benches of the federal parliament”.

“When they go low, we’re going to go high. We’re going to meet hate with love. We’re going to meet fear with understanding. We’re going to face the prejudice. (We’re going to face) the community ticket between Dutton and Hanson with friendship. We have to face the negativity with hope because we’ve got to believe in the Australian people,” he said.

“And I’ve got a great belief that the Liberal party and that greatly out of step with the sentiment of the Australian people on this issue and we will success notwithstanding the very disappointing.

“This is late in the day for the Liberal party to execute such a betrayal of kind of symbolic day of the paths of leading into easter, that we should be betrayed like this.”

He said comments from Dutton about the voice coming from a group of elite academics were low.

“That’s what I mean about going low … When he talks about academics in that sneering way as if Aboriginal people getting educated … His is the voice of Canberra, seeking to tell the Australian people from Canberra what should happen,” he said.

Mr Pearson said they would not contemplate failure for the late, great Yunupingu.

“Most of all for me, my brother Yunupingu’s passing this week, of all weeks, is going to be a power to our arm.

“If we do this for anybody, we will do this for his memory and his work. We cannot contemplate failure,” he said.
