Speaking of absurdum.
Being expected to take people who claim ‘the virus doesn’t exist’ seriously. And you know they do exist how exactly?
After the last few years, I am prepared to at least question *everything* our wise masters want us to take as gospel.
Once you realise they lied to you about one thing, you realise they lied to you about other things, maybe even everything.
Examples:
– Fiat Currency
– Inflation: cause and true rate
– ‘Taxation is the price we pay for a civil society’ (no, its extortion and theft)
– ‘The rich dont pay their fair share’ – yes they do, they are the only ones who do – it wouldnt ‘redistribute’ wealth if they didnt.
– Vax ‘safety and effectiveness’ – enough said
– Statins and the cholesterol hypothesis
– The Health care industry provides health – no it doesnt, it, along with big food, creates chronic illness and feeds of it
– The healthy food pyramid – isnt
– Why we go to war and who are its real benefactors
– Immigration – if flooding our country with immigrants truly strengthens it, surely it weakens the country they left – is this ethical?
– Diversity is a strength…. if so, why do our armed forces wear uniforms?, why do we all drive on the same side of the road?
– Multiculturalism is good – no its not, it creates friction and social accidents (note, multi-culturalism is NOT the same as multi-ethnicity – I dont care where you come from, provided you and I agree on the same basic set of social rules…) -

June 26, 2023 at 7:22 pmItaly’s Giorgia Meloni: ‘Religious Liberty Is Not a Second-Class Right’
Italy’s first female prime minister stated:
Religious liberty is a natural right and precedes every juridical formulation because it is written in the heart of man. It is a right proclaimed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights but still today it is trodden underfoot in too many nations in the world, too often in the face of almost total indifference.
“So it happens that countless men, women, and children not only suffer the pain of seeing themselves deprived of the right to profess their faith but also the humiliation of being ignored,” she said. “This is doubly unacceptable because keeping silent over the denial of religious freedom is tantamount to complicity.”

Australia pledges $100m in new military support for Ukraine, including vehicles and ammunitionThank you Tennis Elbow and so nice to see our tax dollars being spent……………………not very well as usual.
What about the people that live here on this Great Continent? The needy, the needy, the needy, the needy, the needy, the needy……………..The Pensioners (who have paid sheds loads of tax all of their lives when working). the, the, the, the……………….There are so many things that that 100 million could be spent on to help people here. You cannot help the UKR with that money. How about trying to spend some money on assisting a Peace Process? Of course not as you are just incompetent and are no way a Statesman. FFS.

From the Oz.
The No campaign’s Indigenous leaders have criticised comments made on the ABC’s flagship weekend politics program, Insiders, about “ongoing genocide” of Indigenous Australians.
Dana Morse, a federal politics reporter for the national broadcaster, made the comments on Sunday’s program, while speaking about the Indigenous voice to parliament and its proposed powers.
Then on SBS just now.
An advert for “The Voice Roadshow”.
The host (who looks like he has been into sTan’s cosmetics) asks, “Is the referendum giving rise to increased racism?”
I suspect I know the answer. -
Luckily our place makes it very difficult in numerous ways. Won’t say
If any would be thief was attempting to easily find a cash or jewellery stash within Villa Megan they would need to allocate several days to the task. Lots of rooms, a loft, a couple of moderately sized outbuildings and a female co-owner who is a black belt master of household Tetris.
These days, in fact, accumulated birthdays have resulted in me not remembering where the stashes if a holiday is longer than two weeks in duration. Good luck, light-fingered peoples.

I think it is wise to have some casho for any such unknown and sudden event, even a natural one such as a weather disaster etc.
While considered outdated in our modern world of magical plastic/electronic thingees, I find keeping a few traveler’s checks around can be handy in an emergency.
Yes, there are fees involved but when there is no alternative…

At work today I walked into the kitchen to make a cup of tea and there were three young women, all university educated, standing around excitedly talking about how they’d bought Taylor Swift ticket this morning, and then one young women said that how everyone in Australia has bought a ticket.
To which I said, archly, “not me”.
They stopped talking.

With everyone claiming to be black these days, this reminded me of a few old skits of a hard-working Aussie guy who couldn’t get a break in more serious acting roles after being typecast.
“NO, I’M SPARTACUS, NO I REALLY AM!”

Reported in QLD news today:
‘The Coroners Court in Brisbane on Monday held a pre-inquest conference into the death of Ashley Charles Washington, 31, on December 13, 2020 in Toowoomba.
His family members, who listened to proceedings by phone, requested he be referred to during the inquest as Ashley.
Counsel assisting Sarah Lio-Willie said a home owner in the suburb of Mount Lofty discovered Ashley at 6.35pm allegedly trying to remove items from the home including sunglasses, surgical scissors and cash.
Ashley left the property wearing only a pair of shorts and became aggressive towards the home owner who had followed him into the street.
A lone officer and his police dog Turbo in a marked police vehicle located Ashley about 6.55pm.
The officer called out to Ashley to get on the ground but he made unintelligible noises and walked away.
Turbo made contact with Ashley’s arm and chest, and he stabbed the dog repeatedly with the surgical scissors, causing the dog to retreat to the police vehicle.
“(The officer) then deployed his Taser, which caused Ashley to fall to the ground briefly and he was directed to put his hands behind his back,” Ms Lio-Willie said.
While the officer attempted to restrain him, Ashley struck the officer in the face and arm with the scissors.
The officer used his Taser on Ashley again, causing him to fall to the ground, and then radioed that he had been stabbed and requested assistance.
“(The officer) continued to cycle the Taser for four rounds,” Ms Lio-Willie said.
Five other officers arrived and placed Ashley in handcuffs and pushed his legs towards his buttocks but he continued to yell and spit blood.
Paramedics administered a sedative and Ashley’s heart rate went into rapid decline followed by cardiac arrest after he was put in an ambulance,
Paramedics performed CPR but Ashley was declared dead at Toowoomba Base Hospital at 8.01pm.
The first responding officer and Turbo recovered from their injuries.
All of Ashley’s encounters with police and paramedics were captured on body-worn cameras.
A forensic examination of his body showed injuries from a Taser to the back of his neck, right upper arm, left upper buttock and right thigh.
Ashley had suffered from coronary atherosclerosis but there were no signs of an allergic reaction to the sedative.
He also had methamphetamine in his system in the toxic or lethal ranges.‘
In a post-Voice world, what chance would the police stand?

Yet the bastard is arguably the most senior bureaucrat in NSW, and has been for yonks, including a stint as head of the education department.

Who’s Taylor Swift?
Zulu, you forgot part two of that question: who cares?I just don’t get the Taylor Swift hysteria. All her music sounds the same and she dresses for stage as if she is about to dive into a pool. The only things missing are swimming goggles. I think she is trying hard to replicate the Beyoncé vibe.

“Yes, Bolt has been back only a few days and already he is falling into his bad habits. He had Greg Sheridan on tonight who was so obnoxious I had to change the channel.”
I refuse to watch Blot anymore. I watched his programme whilst he was on holidays. Now that’s he’s back, I just can’t. Like Sheridan, he’s an idiot and a dribbler of shite.

Is this how you get the neighbours to dig the garden for you?

Criminal investigation into Prigozhin continues – Russian media reports
RIA Novosti, the Russian state-owned news agency, is reporting that the criminal case against Yevgeny Prigozhin over the mutiny has not been dropped. It was reported at the weekend that investigation into him would be closed as part of the deal that brought the march on Moscow to an end. RIA posted to Telegram to say:
The criminal case against Prigozhin has not been terminated, a source in the prosecutor general’s office told RIA Novosti.
Just like the “march for justice” there is an air of unreality about this as well.

standing around excitedly talking about how they’d bought Taylor Swift ticket this morning …
The Project tonight devoted a segment to fans – exclusively female -incoherent with excitement about it all. Ticket website crashed an hour before opening. She’s yuuuge. Nice looking gal, very kickass, good for her when you think about Britney Spears and that poor Jewish girl (rehab, I said no, no, no) who succumbed to heroin.

REMEMBER: It’s only a coup if it comes from the coup d’etat region of France. What’s happening in Moscow right now is a sparkling insurrection.Still makes me laugh each time and reminds me of Seaview who lost the French court case and had to stop labelling their wine champagne. The other Australian winemakers complied at that point so as not to get sued as well.

The Prick-goes-in rebellion was the fastest flash in the pan for years.
Prick-goes-in rapidly became Prick-goes-away.
Poor mUnty is still in a state of shock, inhaling large quantities of Copium and Seethium.
M0nty was practically wanking himself at the thought of Prigozhin advancing on Moscow yesterday.
As I have said before, anyone who replaces Putin at this stage will almost certainly be worse.
Quite possibly much, much worse.

OK, maybe not Steve Price reading the Cat but I wouldn’t be surprised if the producers don’t monitor what is said, as a test of sentiment of conservative voters.
Very few conservative at New Catallaxy, and what there is, don’t say much.
Now, if you wanna monitor the opinions of Labor/Greens shills larping as conservatives … -
Daughter informed me of a petition by LGBQ yada-yada to make medial costs of transition fully covered by MediCare. In excessof 100,000 names already. Now there’s a counter petition. Need more signatures.

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it.
It’s those pesky Jewish people again. According to RT, Israeli officials have shown “blatant disregard of moral boundaries,” Kiev’s embassy in Tel Aviv claims.
Ukraine’s Embassy in Tel Aviv has lashed out at Israel, accusing the country of providing insufficient support to Kiev amid the conflict with Moscow, and bolstering ties with Russia instead.
In a statement posted on Facebook on Sunday, the Ukrainian mission noted “with regret that the current Israeli government has chosen the path of close cooperation with Russia.”
There has been “complete inaction in providing Ukraine with defensive assistance over the past one-and-a-half years” on the part of the Jewish state, the statement read.
The embassy accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of making “entirely fictional and speculative assumptions” in order to justify inaction by his government.
While most “democratic” countries have sanctioned Russia over its military operation in Ukraine, Israel has not only refrained from joining the restrictions, but – on the contrary – increased trade with Moscow, the Ukrainian embassy said.
“In reality, on the ground, the so-called ‘neutrality’ of Israeli government should be viewed as a clear pro-Russian position,” it stressed.
Israeli newspaper Haaretz described the statement as the harshest criticism of Israel by Ukraine since the start of the conflict between Moscow and Kiev in February 2022.
Ukrainian envoy Evgeny Korniychuk has repeatedly complained of insufficient support from Israel. Last year, he told the journalists: “you can’t imagine how difficult it is for me to be ambassador to Israel if my president [Vladimir Zelensky] is a Jew – because he has much higher expectations of Israel than Israel can deliver.”
So, there you have it. Yet another problem caused by Israel. Cassie – get in here.

What the Left Has Left for AmericaWhat the Left now fears most is the revolutionary model it has bequeathed to America—and what might happen if its monstrous creation falls into politically incorrect hands.
And that is why Republicans will not win another election in my lifetime.
