Danica and James asking the real question: how the fuk did the bastard get into position in a space readily identifiable as a perfect sniper location

The thing I find most odd is the lack of drones to scan and film the area. Had one been in the air it would have picked up the shooter the moment he got up on that roof.

Beau Davidson sums it up: the constant attacks on Trump, the lawfare, the lies by the msm and the demorats, comparing him to Hitler and twisting the SCOTUS Judgment about immunity into a right of the old pervert to take him out, the actuals cries to shoot him by hollywood arsecracks etc, have all caused this happen.

The thing I find most odd is the lack of drones to scan and film the area.

Two sides to that question.

Yes drones can be used for surveillance.

But drones are also a threat.

So I suspect the SS and suchlike suited peoples banned drones within a certain radius. No fly exclusion zones are routine around such events for similar reasons.

It is some surprise, to this correspondent at least, that neither Australia’s High Commissioner Stephen Smith nor the Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Richard Marles are in attendance, despite both being in the country on AUKUS submarine business.
The highest-ranking dignitaries from Australia are our Deputy High Commissioner, Elisabeth Bowes, and the Governor of South Australia, Frances Adamson. Former Australian high commissioner George Brandis is also here.

Accused Russian spy Kira Korolev starred in Australian Defence Force recruitment videosJames KingThe Nightly
Sun, 14 July 2024 4:00PM

The Australian Defence Force promoted accused Russian spy Kira Korolev as a model soldier in two recruitment videos it erased before intelligence agencies arrested her.
The Nightly has obtained two private Australian Army videos in which the alleged spy speaks of guarding Australian defence networks from attack, working with allied nations, and serving the country she “loves”.
“On a day-to-day basis, I’m administering the system, making sure that the network works well and we don’t have any security breaches”, she said in the September 2021 video.
The Russia-born Australian army private and her husband Igor face up to fifteen years imprisonment after Australia’s counter foreign interference taskforce arrested and charged them with preparing for an espionage offence.
“I can meet new people and I can make friends for life. I like to serve the nation, which I love,” Mrs Korolev declares

A shocking and tragic day for the nation — and an amazing, heroic response from President Trump.

You cannot repeatedly and endlessly label a major party candidate and former president Actual Hitler, a full-scale threat to democracy, without radically increasing the danger of violence in America.

This danger has been obvious for years — and engaged in by nearly everyone on the Left, up to and including the current president.

We are in a hideously ugly new era.

Well said.

Based on my US Soshuls, whatever the establishment media says, the US is likely going to drown in probably unanswerable conspiracy theories about the Trump assassination attempt.

Unsurprisingly, given the events, this is currently shaping up as: hopeless nutter patsy, set up by the Deep State to fire the convenient fatal shots, and then be conveniently potted into eternal silence.

Apparently the FBI investigation is likely to take many months – which will be toxic sauce on the pudding and guarantee the issue will stay fresh.

Greens tell Muslim Vote to ‘leave Wills, Senate alone’Alexi Demetriadi
11 hours ago

Panicked Greens senators and MPs fear the burgeoning The Muslim Vote movement could cost them the prized target seat of Wills and upper house votes, pleading with the campaign to leave it and the Senate race alone.
A potential split in the pro-Palestine vote came as Muslim leaders said the Greens’ policy slate would be a “deal-breaker” for the community, regardless of its pro-Palestine stance.
The revelations are part of an investigation by The Australian into the Greens’ policies and electoral strategy as it seeks to win the balance of power in the upcoming Queensland and federal elections.
Amid the five days that saw senator Fatima Payman resign and the emergence of The Muslim Vote, the Greens realised the wedge they drove into the ALP may have been two-edged.
Multiple figures in the progressive party picked up the phone to “preference whisperer” and political strategist Glenn Druery, who had reportedly been advising Senator Payman and, separately and informally, The Muslim Vote campaign.
Mr Druery didn’t respond to questions from The Australian, but insiders said Greens figures, including NSW senator David Shoebridge, quickly contacted the strategist concerned with how an organised Muslim campaign could affect them, particularly in Wills and the Senate.
Sources said some pleaded to Mr Druery that he tell The Muslim Vote to focus solely on the lower house, leaving the Senate alone so as to not take potential votes and spots from the party.
The party had been “caught out” by the The Muslim Vote’s sudden mobilisation and was concerned whether its desire to oust Labor extended to the Senate, and how or if Senator Payman would lead a form of upper house ticket.

‘Beyond excited’: Brittany Higgins, David Sharaz expecting their first childJames Dowling
9 hours ago

Former Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins is expecting her first child with husband David Sharaz.
Announcing the pregnancy on Instagram, Ms Higgins said she was “beyond excited” and paired the announcement with a picture of knitted childrens’ overalls and two blue socks on a washing line.
“Can’t wait to meet you,” Ms Higgins said on Instagram on Sunday.
“Beyond excited to welcome a new member to our little family.
“Your parents are already obsessed with you and you aren’t even here yet.”
The image is tagged with a location: Bergerac, France. In December, Ms Higgins and Mr Sharaz bought a home in the southwestern town of Lunas near the Bergerac and Bordeaux regions.
While Ms Higgins, who made the announcement late on Sunday, did not specify the baby’s gender, the blue socks in her post hint at a baby boy.
The announcement follows the pair’s Gold Coast wedding in June, held behind a strict wall of security in the Currumbin Valley. The event had a strict guest list confined to friends and family.
Ms Higgins and Mr Sharaz met in Canberra in 2020 before announcing their engagement on New Year’s Eve in 2022.
