Do you know where Karl Marx wrote his thesis???

Do you know that Karl Marx’s cemetery plot and headstone will never be defiled???

Do you know that it is easy to be a communist in a free country BUT it is impossible to be free in a communist country????

Australia… obey now.

FeeltheBern:

Winston, have you seen TIK’s part 2 on Operation Keelhaul?

Just watched it.
There’s no doubt that there is treachery at the very highest levels of our society and that the Deep State – whilst not being a vast bureaucratic organisation – is a conglomeration of like minded individuals in a competitive society.
That this aggregation of individuals would find it easy to hand over millions of innocents to Stalin’s mass graves and gulags is of no surprise to me.
After all, the victims weren’t really human – just peasants, less than the dust beneath their desks.
This is where the recategorisation of humans leads us.
Labels like Jew, Communist, Serf, Anti Vaccinator, Black, White, Etc all have one thing in common – the terms deny the essential humanity of the labelled.

Real Rukshans attracted the eye of Crikey. Author seems to sit on the fence mostly but with a couple of cheap shots and the comments are evenly divided.

lots of cheap shots.

It shits me eternally – why does it matter what side of the political fence Rukshan sits on? People need to view his material and make their own decisions. .. but no, Crikey is all “Trump supporter, fan of the far right!”

Any idiot who’s actually watched Rukshan’s live feed knows that he adds very little partisan commentary, rather letting events speak for themselves.

There is nothing fundamentally wrong with morale latches. Some of them are damned hilarious, in an appropriate, professionally humorous and subversive manner.

Others are meant to convey mutual badassery and professional fraternity. Which is why the Grauniad was screaming its tits off about the ‘Thin Blue Line’ and ‘Punisher’ patches some QPOL members were allegedly wearing. these things are deemed by leftists as anti-BLM ans anti-Narrative, as they suggest unity to organisations said leftists want to obliterate and ultimately remake as jackboot enforcers of their ideology alone.

Same BS occurred under Angus Campbell, when he made a blanket ban on ‘death imagery.’ Allegedly this was unprofessional, and suggested a lack of humility in his eyes.

Morale patches are the modern era’s subversive Mess art, undershirt slogans and dirty songs.

Just because a group of people whose behaviour we now.hate does it, does not make it a blanket ‘bad…’

china is the by far the biggest totalitarian shithole in human history

East Germany on steroids (!).

It would be an anachronism to apply the term ‘totalitarian ‘ to pre-20th C. states, but it should be noted that in human history freedom or liberty is the exception rather than the rule.

Most human beings have lived under some form of servitude, sometimes it was an enlightened form of servitude but it was servitude nonetheless.

If anyone is interested in a survey of how Western liberalism* slowly developed over centuries Larry Seidentop’s Inventing the Individual is as good a place as any to look.

*Liberlaism in the classical sense, not its debased modern form adrift from its roots in Christianity.

Someone put this up last night. I thought it was satire. Then, old bloke at 1.14:

That could be a legitimate plea if the Vic government is actually using mercenaries to do the bashings which the plod doesn’t want to do.

I don’t know if this is just another conspiracy story, see Australia is using mercenaries in enforce their lockdown

From the Predator Security & Defence website (same symbol).

It’s a Predator velcro badge. Available on eBay and thousands of online sites to anyone, and it’s not a copyrighted image. The original post from someone on Gab made the claim that it was on ‘an Australian Victorian Police Official Bullet Proof Vest’ or something, complete with capitals.

The problems with this include, but are not limited to:
1. It’s not a VicJack Inc issue vest. It is also a generic item, complete with about a dozen extraneous loops across its upper half which look good to some people, and also available anywhere online;
2. It’s not configured to hold the equipment VicJack Inc use;
3. It is configured to hold generic yellow items, not a Taser; and
4. The font for the wording of ‘POLICE’ is also wrong, too small and too thin, and in any event does not appear on the middle of the front of any such vest (except actual ballistic vests with kevlar plate behind it).

A pineapple says both these things were bought on Wish.com by a basement dweller somewhere.

Does anyone really think that VicJack Inc, the wokest of woke organisations in this day and age, who actively promote transgenderism, who are front and centre at every Mardi Gras and who have recruited the fattest, softest knee-benders in the country for the past 15 years or more would allow anyone to put badges of the same type the ADF banned on their gear?

It’s this exact sort of shit that enables Hot Button Sutton to call perfectly rational people who oppose being covid-vaccinated ‘irrational whack jobs’ without a murmur of dissent.

This cause – and make no mistake, it’s a cause – is being ruined by every conspiracy nut both in and outside this country attaching their own SovCit/tunnels/red shoes/pizza/Stonecutters theories to it, knowing all the while that their own nuffie ideas will gain no traction on their own.

Once again – the quote of this century:

Hysterical activism is the greatest dead weight an otherwise noble cause can have.

When people mock Australians for not caring to fight for their rights & freedoms like Americans, it’s because of this sort of, ‘preparedness to fight for every little thing’, that makes Australians baulk at going off tap at the drop of a hat.

Again, compare American protests to Australian protests.

They murder, pillage & burn down their own communities, that never get built up again, while the main ‘right’ they ‘win’ from those riots is to sink into yet more unhampered, Govt assisted even, self destructive criminality.

We are not that stupid.

Do we have to do more than trust our next vote to a known corrupt electoral system & remedies to corrupt courts?

Hell yeah, but knocking Police off their champion podium for being the most hateful, violent, unjust, unthinking agents of a Dictatorial Govt is NOT something we average, decent Aussies want to do.

We never want people to doubt who The Baddies are … while we sensibly come to terms with how we are best to go about Fighting The Good Fight for the first time since we’ve been a Federated Nation, on our own soil, against our enemies within.

Shane Patton’s clever plan to crush protests have elevated independent journalist content to world notice and it looks really bad for black shirts in VicPlod.

He is the General William Westmoreland of Australian policing.
He is running a war of attrition using very expensive resources against a smaller, more resolute enemy with time on their hands.
And, like Westmoreland, public opinion will shift from whether the cause is just, to whether the method of prosecuting the war is worth the cost.
And I reckon Patton has about 43.4% of the smarts Westmoreland had.

I’m prepared to accept that people might have a moral objection to eating meat because it involves killing sentient creatures.

I think the only animals which can claim to be sentient are some monkeys -chimps, orangs, gorillas etc – and porpoises. The Africans eat the monkeys under the guise of bush meat and the Japs and some other asians do the same with the porpoises. I personally would not eat either. And since I grew up on a farm I have killed all the meat I eat: chickens, cows, sheep and piggies. I respect the food I eat.

The cruellest killers of animals are other animals, particularly lions which because they eat such big prey always do so before the animals are dead. I’ll listen to fucking vegans after they do something about those lion shits.

Every vegan I’ve ever met has always delighted in telling me that they’re “vegans”…it’s like they’re on a holy crusade…and every single vegan I’ve ever met has never looked very healthy.

Rockdoctor, I thought the writing should have been on the wall for Setka when the CFMEU headquarters were given the rounds last Monday. The bastard seems to be still there. I agree, country unionists probably have the pulse. It’s the city lot and where their heads are at, I’m concerned about. A State-wide tools down would inflict mortal wounds on the Andrews regime, which would be an added bonus. My only reservation with regard to a good throw-down is those members trying to pay mortgages and put food on their tables may think twice.

At one stage a guy next to me said ‘look’ and when i turned around there was a line of police stretching from the water to the road. I decided to leave. Zipster:

Bloomberg reported officials as saying that capital needed to be moved from housing to “productive” industry. there is no industrial shortage in china. clearly china is preparing for war.

One of the things that WW2 showed us was the need for trade. Germany lost that war because she couldn’t get the raw materials necessary for a prolonged war, nor could Japan. Russia could build as many tanks as they wanted, but without the aluminium for the engines from Canada, were essentially immobile.
The US established a Strategic and Critical Materials Stock Piling Act in 1939 to address a perceived issue in case of a prolonged war.
Many nations went through a cannibalising period of resourcing the necessary metals and clothing required to keep the machine running. Witness the aluminium pots and pans drives in GB and Germany. Old vehicle bodies recycled for their steel. Shot down enemy aircraft were a handy supply of aircraft grade aluminium.
One thing to look at is the emptying of the Wests scrap steel stockpile over the last two decades. China has been taking in scrap for its electric arc furnaces for years and has denuded a vital resource from us. Look at the imports of iron ore and coal – far beyond what it needs, but obvious for a Chinese version of a national stockpile.
I strongly suspect China has been storing finished steel products not so much as to feed her industries, but to deny some parts to us. It is the industrial version of the cruise ship prawns – take all you can even if you never eat it because it means others can’t have it. It’s a very Chinese practice.
Note the US stockpile has finished products in inventory – railway tracks and flat steel plate, coil wire and copper wire.
It’s very easy to sit back and remark we will just mine more, but mining, processing, and finishing products take time – time that will have to be bought by the profligate waste of our soldiers lives. It takes time to rebuild the industries that our industrialists have so casually sold off overseas in search of higher profits, to train the workers to run the machinery, and to remove the counterproductive policies that have crippled us.
Yes. I’m looking at you, Greens, Bureaucrats, Unions, and other vested interests that have said “I’m all right Jack, my kids won’t be manning those subs/aircraft/ships/foxholes etc. They’ll be sitting in Staff meetings under ten meters of concrete and steel – safe.”

Meta-Reviews Are Amplifying Bad And Even Fake Ivermectin Data, Researchers Warn

In a letter published in Nature, the authors argue we should no longer include any studies in a meta-analysis unless we have access to the raw individual patient data (IPD).

If the original study authors are not willing or able to provide such detailed information, then the clinical trial should simply be excluded.

An old friend said to me that when he sees a meta-analysis he reaches for his gun. The above is one reason why. It is very time consuming to examine the raw data and it is a pain that the quality of research is often so parlous that needs to be done. Unfortunately all too often meta-analyses do not dig that deep.

But you’re right. Slumped, fucked after another day of ‘Where are we going?’ On buses. Off buses. Stand around. Walk for a block or two. On buses, off buses. Stand around. On buses. Dragging all their shit with them, every time. It’s exhausting.

I mentioned the other day that VicPol has never, ever run three days of significant protest activity consecutively. Early last week would almost certainly have been a ‘surge capacity’ thing. By now they would be running on canvas. Gez was bang on just now. Their rosters would be up in flames.

I’m hearing that jacks are being dragged in from regional areas and the bush as well. All the usual grind of work and paperwork doesn’t go away. It just builds up and up and up, ready for when they go back to whatever it is they usually do.

It is just not sustainable. Paris and London and other really big cities with more regular protests, G20 events and soccer World Cups have catered for this for decades when they planned the size of their police forces. Nowhere in Australia has needed to do this. Until now.

I think it was Napoleon who said whichever side throws their last battalion into a battle will win. VicPol are very quickly running out of battalions.

Stones point way to Indigenous Silk Road

AMOS AIKMAN
NORTHERN CORRESPONDENT
@amosaikman

Hidden among the gibber plains and dry river beds of the Channel Country in outback Queensland are clues to understanding the seemingly sophisticated civilisation that operated in Australia before Europeans arrived.

Researchers working with the Mithaka people have, for the first time, uncovered a vast network of quarries spread over an area about the size of Belgium. They believe the quarries produced grindstones sold into transcontinental trade linking the commercial and ceremonial activities of pre-contact Aboriginal people.

Dating suggests the sites were occupied a few hundred to a few thousand years ago, making it possible to join early ethnographic accounts with archaeological evidence and modern techniques like remote sensing, genetics and isotope chemistry.

The researchers believe the Mithaka lived in seasonal villages of gunyahs (huts) usually situated near the water, where they harvested waterfowl, fish and mussels. They believe the Mithaka economy revolved around bartering grindstones for pituri (a weak narcotic), ochre, fibre and resin, often accompanied by exchanges of songs and dances. The network has been likened to a First Australian version of China’s modern Silk Road.

Josh Gorringe, a custodian and chief executive of the Mithaka Aboriginal Corporation, says the ongoing research is vital to helping his people rediscover their past. The Mithaka language and some aspects of cultural knowledge were lost during the early years of settlement, when many elders were preoccupied with pastoralism and droving.

“The science is helping us explain to the wider world who we are … it gives us an arsenal of knowledge to help show what our people did,” he said. “We know our stories from history. The science helps us put things in perspective … it gives us a lot more concrete evidence to show that we’ve been here for a long time.”

The Mithaka have Native Title rights over about 33,000 square kilometres of land and applications over another 22,000 square kilometres. Their archaeological sites are short-listed for National Heritage listing in recognition of their cultural value.

Michael Westaway, the University of Queensland archaeologist leading the research, was with Mr Gorringe this week examining a spectacular stone arrangement shaped like the Scorpius constellation and possibly used in initiation rituals.

“We think this is the first physical representation of a fairly complex ceremony,” he said.

“I’ve seen a lot of stone arrangements in Australia but nothing quite like this before.”

Dr Westaway says studying Mithaka food production, ceremonial and settlement systems could “revise a lot of our understanding of the complexity of Aboriginal society”. His team’s most significant discovery to date has been the scale of Mithaka quarrying. “There’s this massive, almost industrial-scale production of grinding stones,” he said.

“The scale of these queries is unlike anything in Australia. It’s really been access to new technologies … that has exposed the scale of the landscape.

“Ethnohistory doesn’t actually talk about the scale of production … but it’s linked with the fact there were hundreds of thousands of square kilometres of native grasses they were processing – it’s like a quasi-agriculture system … there’s no evidence that they were domesticating these things, but we haven’t done the science to look into that yet.”

Mike Smith, an influential arid lands archaeologist now semi-retired but still affiliated with the National Museum, said the project was the “most significant … in the arid zone in the last 20 years”.

He believes the Mithaka maintained a complex foraging society rather than a sedentary one, inhabiting seasonal villages during boom times when rain brought the land to life. “The evidence shows what foragers can do if they are not disrupted by outsiders,” he said. “They are very adept at stabilising the returns from a very harsh environment.”

Dr Westaway would like to see a cultural centre established to help tell the Mithaka story. “It’s an incredibly powerful national narrative that most Australians have absolutely no idea about,” he said.

Mr Gorringe’s priorities are closer to home. He wants Mithaka knowledge compiled for future generations so the process of restoring it to its former glory can continue. “My kids and their kids will get a hell of a lot out of the research we’re doing,” he said.

In a paper published in Antiquity in June, the researchers argued Mithaka country could be used to develop a system for investigating Aboriginal villages.

It was “an exciting and significant opportunity to obtain new insights into Aboriginal subsistence, trade and settlement,” they wrote.

Very strange that none of the existing indigenous folklore refers to the manufacture or trading of grinding stones. How could such a significant enterprise just be ‘forgotten’.

I remember an exploration program in the Pilbara. The consultant archaeologist came across a circle of white rocks on the ground. He was ecstatic, a classic example, a unique artefact etc etc.

Later that afternoon a helicopter landed right in the middle of the circle. The archaeologist was furious until the pilot explained he had put the rocks there a few days ago to mark his landing ground.

If you search you can find scholarly papers on Egyptian hieroglyphs on a granite outcrop in Qld, evidence supposedly of a visit, perhaps by Hapshetsut’s trading fleet, in reality couple of kids copied some pictures and carved them in the seventies. There was a circle of standing stones in Scotland assumed to be neolithic until proper investigation revealed them as being of mid Victorian, say 1860s CE, vintage.

The bottom line of claiming nomadic culture is equivalent to civilisation is a misrepresentation of the term and implies that nomadic culture is less worthy than settled cultures. This, of course, is the trope that undepins Pascoe’s Dark Emu.

The word “believe” appears a lot in the above paragraph. So far all evidence of pre-colonial settlement indicates Australia was inhabited by primitive cultures more akin to Stone-age civilisation.

That is not to say it is not valuable to investigate and strive to improve our understanding, but I think we should stick to facts rather than what we hope is true and can prove some narrative that really will not change disadvantage in Indigenous communities happening today.

In all probability the stone circles etc may only be 100 to 300 meters from a major waterhole. The stone circles/formations would most certainly be above the major flood level as then known to the Old people.

It’s a bit like the show I listened to about 3 months ago where the announcer was saying we should recruit more first nations people into our space industry because of their superior knowledge of aerodynamics they have in the design and manufacture of the Boomerang, no mention of the fact that one day someone threw a bent stick at a kangaroo and it came back, so they looked for similar bent sticks, and around the campfire they polished them up with a piece of sandstone.
There never was or never will be a Aboriginal school of advanced aerodynamics, a bit like this story and dark emu a lot of dreaming trying to rewrite history.

The talk of Plod being run ragged is spot-on and, if the protest organisers keep a cool head, time is on their side, in so many ways:-
1. Fatigue. Plod is stretched to the limit. Sick and stress leave will be massive, because these are precisely the types they have recruited (“I dinna sign up fo’ this”).
2. Poor Recruitment Criteria. Speaking of recruitment, they don’t have enough people with the physical characteristics to stand up to it either.
3. Weather. As the weather warms up, the Ninja Turtles will have to stand around on tarmac for hours in full kit in temperatures over 30 degrees.
4. The formation of unholy coalitions. At the moment this is “building unions and anti-vaxxers”. But there is another cohort out there who are getting mightily pissed off. The vaxxed. When they find that 80% or 85% vaxxed means jack-shit it could get ugly.

This is another version of the Commodification of Children that Arky rightly warned of.
This Industry has had massive Global Govt Financing for decades and is pushed heavily by the UN.
When some people can’t help but take information like this and make sick jokes of it, you have to wonder …

BTW, this is more important to the Global Agenda pushers than enforcing lockdowns & jabs, the enforcement of which having already trained enough to comply.

When they are arresting pregnant mothers in their homes for daring to speak against lockdowns, what do you think this new ginned up Police Force will do to those who commit the, already on the books, crime, of praying for and teaching their children the truth about the lies they’ve been told?

However, the names of the signatories were linked to the site, and hence “disappeared” with the article.

Some fifty shrinks, doctors and intellectuals denounce an “ideological hold on children’s bodies” in the name of the emancipation of the “transgender child”.

? We can no longer remain silent about what appears to us to be a serious drift committed in the name of the emancipation of the “transgender child” (the one who declares that he was not born in the “right body”). Radical discourses legitimise requests for sex change on the basis of feelings alone, which are set up as the truth. But this is at the cost of lifelong medical or even surgical treatment (removal of breasts or testicles) on the bodies of children or adolescents. It is this phenomenon and its high media profile that concerns us, not the choices of transgender adults.

Perhaps thinking it might provide an answer, the Scottish Government has issued new LGBT inclusion guidelines since 12 August, under which children from primary school age will be able to change their names and gender at school without their parents’ consent. Without their consent and even without their parents being informed if the child requests it.

Children are made to believe that a girl could become a boy and vice versa because they have decided to do so without the advice of adults, and this is happening at an increasingly young age.

What is happening in our neighbouring countries could very quickly happen in France: the protean diffusion of these beliefs has resulted in a considerable inflation of requests for sex changes among children and more particularly among teenage girls in recent years. According to Jean Chambry, a child psychiatrist in charge of the CIAPA (Centre Intersectoriel d’Accueil pour Adolescent) in Paris, nearly ten years ago there were about ten requests per year; in 2020, there will be ten requests per month (only for the Ile-de-France region). He talks about a worrying acceleration in medical responses to these transitional requests.

Trivialised speeches claim that we could do without the biological reality, the sexual difference between men and women, in favour of chosen singularities based solely on “feelings”. These misleading ideological discourses are transmitted on social networks where many teenagers with identity problems come to seek solutions to their malaise. In the name of “self-determination” – a slogan that appeals to all progressives — children and teenagers are convinced that they can change their sex with the help of hormone treatments or even mutilating surgery. This rhetoric, spread by activists in many Western countries, uses fallacies designed to deceive.

Childhood abduction

How did we get here? And do we (still) have the right to react without being insulted or threatened? How can these rights to self-determination be a fulfilling progress? This phenomenon, the “transgender child”, is in reality a contemporary mystification that must be vigorously denounced because it is a matter of ideological embrigadement. They would have us believe that, in the name of the well-being and freedom of each individual, a child, freed from the agreement of its “reactionary” parents, would be able to “choose” its so-called gendered identity.

But the child is a being under construction, his or her future is in constant evolution before reaching a stage of maturity. Neuroscientists, developmentalists, psychoanalysts, child psychiatrists, paediatricians and all specialists in early childhood are unanimous on this subject.

The child, and even more so the adolescent, is subjected to a hold which leads to mental destabilisation, a break with the family if it does not support the child and with all those who refuse to share its point of view. This hold generates an anti-social and accusatory discourse, a specific idiom or even a novlanguage is imposed on those around them. The discourse of these young people is often stereotyped as if they had lost all critical thinking (which is a characteristic of the hold).

We denounce this abduction of childhood. It is now urgent to inform as many citizens as possible, of all professions, of all sides, of all ages, about what could well appear tomorrow as one of the greatest health and ethical scandals, which we would have watched happen without saying a word: the commodification of children’s bodies. For by persuading these children that they have been “assigned” a sex at birth, and that they can freely change it, they are made lifelong patients: lifelong consumers of hormonal chemicals marketed by pharmaceutical companies, recurrent consumers of ever more surgical operations in the pursuit of the chimerical dream of a fantasy body. At present, countries that were in favour of medical transition before the age of majority are banning hormone treatments for minors (Sweden, the United Kingdom and some states in the USA …).

This dogmatism leads to great confusion so that no one knows how to act and raise their voice, often for fear of certain LGBTQI+ associations. But this acronym covers very different people, some of whom, like us, are worried about the current drifts. Some are subject to the law of silence that reigns in this environment. The Swedish documentary Trans train shows that young adults, left to their own devices and threatened if they speak out publicly, have been pressured by their trans community if they have expressed doubts or “detransitioned.”

Confusion reigns, largely maintained for the purpose of manipulating humanity in its deepest substratum: its evolution, its temporality, its wanderings and its doubts. In the name of rejecting a supposed gender assignment, we are in the process of witnessing, embarrassed, without understanding anything, an identity assignment. Thus Claude from the Club des cinq, once described as a tomboy, is now presented as transgender. We could laugh about it if it weren’t symptomatic of our era, which is struck by political radicalisms that pre-empt all debate.

No, in the name of protecting children we can no longer remain silent! We refuse to accept that, in the name of “human rights”, we should challenge this common base — the universalism of rights — which constitutes the foundation of humanity. ?

The idea is to grab attention, not from our own feral media, but from overseas, by using everyday objects of fun and enjoyment as symbols. Yes, it sounds weird, but image is everything. Balls used in recreation are non-threatening. Balls bounce (can society bounce back?). With the power of the feral media, we need every PR tactic we can get.

Balls to the street!
