Dr William Mc Bride ( not Timothy) was working at Crown Street Womens Hospital in the 1960’s as was Sister Pat Sparrow who noticed that his patients were having birth defects and that he had started using Thalidomide for nausea. Crown street was a great place to work ,probably because we had to demonstrate how to use the nitrous oxide masks.

EU power ‘freakout’ as energy prices soar to record high – blackouts ‘not if, but when’ (22 Nov)

Panic erupted after Austria’s Defence Minister Klaudia Tanner started a nationwide poster campaign that told her country to prepare for power cuts by keeping 15 days’ worth of food stored for an emergency. Ms Tanner sent a stark warning to consumers about the severe consequences of low energy supplies, stating last month: “The question is not whether a blackout will come, but when.”

Her warning came as European leaders met last as they scrambled to resolve the crisis as the price of natural gas and power soared while renewable energy failed to pull its weight as a result of poor energy conditions.

Doing great guys, gals and its. Not only are you a bunch of petty totalitarians, you are doing the exact wrong thing in both virus control and electricity policy. Evil is banal, as someone said once.

B: “I’ll be good faith – a woman is anyone, of either bio-sex, who IDs as a woman.”

A: “But wot are they ‘identifying’ AS? What IS a woman?”

B: “…” ”

This is brilliant. I envisage exploding heads when this question is posed.

Questions being asked by normal Austrians:

Aren’t governments supposed to do whatever they can to prevent this sort of thing? To govern*? What are taxes for again? To assist in the governance process?

I don’t know if Robert Kennedy Jnr’s just released book has been discussed on this blog. Many, including Robert Malone, are saying that the book provides detailed and compelling evidence of the complicity of key global figures in the catastrophe that had unfolded with this pandemic.

I have resisted the more extreme conspiracy theories that have been circulating for the last 2 years, but I am increasingly disturbed with the clear evidence of the preparations made by major players for the events of the last two years. Preparations for global pandemics are not unexpected, but the involvement and cooperation of key players in instructive. At the very least, we need to look deeply and critically at the material collected.

It is going to be difficult to get this book due to supply problems, but it is available on Kindle. A friend told me it is absolutely compelling.

“Albanese says he’s more concerned about his own safety than he’s ever been in the past”

Hmm.

Dear Mr Albanese,

Very touching, but since you’re so concerned about your own safety….

I don’t recall you ever speaking up and condemning the attack on Andrew Bolt back in 2017, when Andrew Bolt was physically attacked in broad daylight on a Melbourne street by far-left progressive scum.

I don’t recall you ever speaking up and condemning the attack on Tony Abbott back in 2017, when Tony Abbott was physically attacked in broad daylight on a street by a far-left progressive piece of human garbage, an assault that many of your far-left friends in the MSM and on social media sewers laughed about. And since you’re so worried about your own safety perhaps you should ask Tony Abbott about how Abbott handled the years of threats against him….oh and perhaps I’m wrong but I don’t recall you ever speaking up and condemning the putrid campaign conducted in Warringah against Tony Abbott….including the actual stabbing of a Liberal campaign worker on election eve.

I don’t recall you speaking up and condemning the extraordinarily vicious, toxic and violent campaign waged against Nicolle Flint, A WOMAN, in the seat of Boothby at the last election and a campaign that’s ensued since then (Flint’s office is regularly vandalised). Nicolle Flint was stalked and required police protection. This ongoing campaign of harassment against Flint was and is conducted by an unholy trinity of your comrades in Labor, Getup and the unions. Mr Albanese, I’m very surprised that you knew nothing about the tactics used against Flint…and I’ve noted your silence in condemning those tactics…or perhaps you don’t concern yourself about threats made to conservative women.

Oh and back in 2019, when the first Australian CPAC was announced, your comrade in the senate, Kristina Keneally (in the interests of being polite Mr Albanese I won’t use my favourite word to describe this woman except to say it begins with “s” and ends with “k”) whipped up a frenzy of media and far-left progressive hate against this planned “conservative conference”…..so what ensued Mr Albanese? Well I’ll you what happened, protesters turned up and harassed conference attendees. I, as a woman who attended the conference alone, WAS CONCERNED ABOUT MY SAFETY. Luckily, because the event was held in Sydney and not Melbourne, the NSW police did their job and protected the attendees and not the far-left protesters.

The above is just a smidgen of the many “incidents” of violence used by those on your side against the right. Or maybe your stirring mantra of “fighting Tories” has a get out of jail free card when it comes to using violence against those on the right.

I could go on but I’ve got a real job to go to…..something I know you’ve never had any experience doing.

So, Mr Albanese, can you please get back to me when you can provide me with just one example of someone on the left who has been physically assaulted by some far-right extremist, in the same manner in which Andrew Bolt and Tony Abbott were physically assaulted…..if and when you do I’ll have some sympathy with your spurious claim that you’re very “concerned about your own safety”.

Thank you….and spare me your hypocrisy.

Regards

Cassie of Sydney

There is a chance that the solidarity of the establishment breaks and all the rats start running to escape – it will start with a trickle but quickly turn into a rout. When each one sees another turn fugitive with impunity and notice that in their absence holding the line is going to be harder adding to the panic.

Imagine a dam burst, but with weasels instead of water.

These are not idealistic people, they are selfish little rodents who have formed an alliance merely to win some small gain. It is not because they are big villains, but most are one of tens of thousands of small ones.

So we will have a small ocean of small-minded selfish minions without masters, their hearts quailing and their bladders emptying all over their shoes, looking to make a deal. Covid was a disease, but far and away the greatest cost economically, socially, psychologically and emotionally has been done by government and official bodies. Those people who have lied or worked out angles for their own gain and who, by the nature of their roles feel there will be no price to pay and that they can claim they acted in good faith with the best available information, need to actually have their role investigated.

If it is found that they have breached rules, laws, or even their own contracts (where they are contracted to the government or government body) then they should be punished. If they are somehow spared by not having an unambiguous obligation to professional integrity* then their reputations should be updated in public to include baleful failings, and every organisation they join after that can be considered to have revealed its own weakness by bringing in someone so inept.

No one should be shielded from sanction for what they have done to us.

* For all I know the big mouths in the AMA may in fact not have the job making declarations based on the most rigorous assay of available research, but instead of announcing conclusions made by some panel in their own organisation, and the members of the panel permitted to colour their conclusions with intuition to fill in gaps in certainty without any obligation to incorporate research someone somewhere else has declared unreliable.

a dead man, metaphorically speaking, fights no battles.

You need to read ‘Last Stands -Why men fight when all is lost’ as it debunks that. In essence, there IS often a benefit in dying for a cause (as opposed to giving up). One example would be that your fight consumes resources (money, time, supplies, morale, legitimacy, reputation) that your enemy then lacks at a later part of the conflict.

I intend to go down fighting

Wisconsin parade: Man charged with five counts of murder is career criminal on bail for running woman over

The man who ploughed into a crowd of people during a parade in Wisconsin, killing five and injuring 48 more, is a career criminal who was released from jail on Friday after running a woman over with his car.

Darrell Brooks Jr, a sex offender with a long list of previous charges spanning three decades, is now facing five counts of murder, police in the town of Waukesha said last night.

The victims, a number of whom were members of a local group called the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies, were aged between 52 and 81.

Some 48 other people were taken to hospital including 18 children aged between three and 16. They suffered injuries ranging from scrapes on their faces to broken bones and serious head injuries, and six were in a critical condition last on Monday night.

“Lives were lost during the middle of what should have been a celebration,” Waukesha’s mayor, Shawn Reilly, said during an emotional press conference in which the police chief fought back tears. The mayor condemned the “horrible and senseless” act

On Monday evening, police confirmed that Brooks was fleeing from the scene of a domestic dispute which took place just “minutes” earlier. It has been reported that it was a knife fight.

He sped down a closed off parade route in Waukesha’s main street on Sunday afternoon, just before 5pm, and veered into members of the public who had gathered for the annual Christmas parade.

Police said that he was not being chased, and that one officer on the parade route fired a gunshot at the vehicle, but felt it was unsafe to fire any more in such a crowded area.

Brooks was taken into custody near the crime scene. Pictures on social media showed a red Ford Explorer SUV with a crumpled front.

A part time rapper, Brooks has appeared in a music video waving a gun, standing in front of the same make, model and colour of the car that was involved in the incident.

According to police scanner audio obtained by news platform Heavy, Mr Brooks Jr had a Ford car key on him when he was detained by officers and his ID was in the car. An image from Google Street View shows the car parked outside his house.

“A part time rapper.”

I strongly suspect the protesters in Melbourne have attained a critical mass, one which eluded them a month ago due to fragmentation and the psychological whiplash of the long lockdown. Next Saturday, weather permitting, will be even bigger.

Sydney, even with its smaller numbers is also a wake-up call. More hedonistic than Melbourne, it doesn’t have the same protest culture. As Rabz discovered also, it is easy to lock people out without deploying a single policeman. Other means will be found to get in should CityRail try the same stunt again.

At least our political masters are starting to consider their own skins.

One example would be that your fight consumes resources (money, time, supplies, morale, legitimacy, reputation) that your enemy then lacks at a later part of the conflict.

I intend to go down fighting

Flyingduk,
I’ll be going down fighting. The first defensive position was broken when we hit 70% and the vaccinated economy was viable. I’m moving (fully equipped) back to the second defensive line, and attriting along the way. Those due for, and who will refuse, the booster, is growing by the day.

A retreat is not a defeat. Tobruk showed that isolated pockets of bypassed defence are handy, but it doesn’t constitute a defensive line.

The protests would be nothing without the partially or fully vaxxed. We’re all in this together.

And in military terms, that meant they got behind us and into our supply lines, and started reeking havoc on the home front (read: family and kids). Once they’re in amongst your supply lines, you can continue to fight, but you’ll run dry eventually…some sooner than others.

The accidental wisdom of labelling non-socialists as fascists and and mainstream society as fascistic is paying off for the left – dividend of a thoughtless abuse that they have been surprised to find had other uses.

Imagine if the left back in the 60’s had not decided to label everyone not socialist as being fascist. (I mean, the politics, social order, statism communism is much closer to Nazism than Nazism is to democracy.)

Suppose instead they vented their spleen for the things they really hated about the right: The energy of individualism is directed at a short range, chaotic, inconsistent, and even cancelling itself out – rather than focused like a laser beam on a vision. Competition is destructive. Competition creates winners and losers. Most people are stupid, and only a state headed by an select gifted few can get things done right. Only such a state can think on a national scale. And so on.

They would be stuck trying to persuade people they are stupid, their interests petty, they are hurting people, and they should just obey.

Not likely to win that argument.

But now they have, in many people’s minds, conflated ‘right’ with ‘fascist’. Most people (rightly) recoil at that word as a reflex. And that is as far as much public debate gets.

Fascism and Socialism and Communism are sadistic bedfellows. A murderous malignant menage a trois, each in love with the sound of their own voice and the smell of their own farts.

The ‘right’ are the people who live next door who want nothing to do with them. Who have to put up with the noise of their violent rows, the salty language, the odd bladed sex-toy thrown over the fence, and the torrent of abuse when they just want to sit in the backyard. Oh, and their constant threats about what is going to be done to them if they do not surrender their house because only then will the Fasci-Socia-Comms be able to rely live the way they want.

Townsville preferred location for Singaporean detachment
Date published: 28 February 2021

Mayor Jenny Hill has welcomed the announcement that Townsville is the preferred location for the Singaporean Army detachment as part of the Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative (ASMTI).

….

The Palaszczuk government has struck a deal to secure land for training of Australian and Singaporean military personnel in north and central Queensland.

“The Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative will bring up to 14,000 Singapore Armed Forces personnel to Queensland every year for 25 years, training for 18 weeks each time

The issue was the subject of an intense two-month campaign by landholders at the end of 2016, when the federal government announced it was forcibly acquiring land in the Charters Towers and Marlborough regions for the initiative.

Oz prelate hands state blank check to ban unjabbed from Mass
by Jules Gomes • ChurchMilitant.com • November 22, 2021

An Australian bishop has handed the pro-euthanasia and pro-abortion premier of Queensland a blank check to bar unvaccinated Catholics from attending Holy Mass if she orders him to do so.

“If the state were to restrict church services to vaccinated persons for a short time, we would also follow that direction,” warns Timothy J. Harris, bishop of Townsville, a diocese in the state of Queensland.

Harris’ missive, posted on his Twitter account, smears conscientious objectors to the abortion-tainted jab as “spreading gossip and dubious information” and orders clergy and other church workers to be “vaccinated immediately.”

Another self defense case, Andrew Coffee found not guilty on 5 counts, including murder, attempted murder

Coffee was a black drug dealer who when his flat was raided by the cops shot back killing his girl friend and wounding a couple of cops. The fucking jury exonerated him on the grounds of self defence because the cops did not provide adequate notice. This to a bastard who had resisted arrest before and had a violent rap sheet as long as his dick.

Also there was the recent case of the young black punk, timothy simpkins, a drug dealer at school who shot up the school wounded some people and was granted bail immediately.

Covid vaccines seemingly are not teaching our bodies any lesson that is long term, unlike the vaccines we had in childhood or need on booster in our lives.

I sent the following to Rod Barton MP and received an automatic reply that he was not supporting the changes to the Bill as it currently stands. That’s good, but also bad, because it means he is open to changes.

Dear Mr Barton MP,

Insert photo with pile of medals and trophies (probably 40+ – we’ve never counted)

The photo above is (some) of the loot that my eldest has won across several sports. All but one, was won before she reached Grade 6. For the past two years, herself and her peers have been largely prevented from playing sport (or just doing normal teenage things).

Last Friday night, she was stopped from playing sport. Not because she is not good enough, fit enough, doesn’t turn up to training, is unreliable, a bad sport or healthy enough. But because of a late change to the rules. Not only was she asked for her health status in front of multiple people, now her health status is known throughout the wider community and she will, no doubt will be judged for the decisions of the Premier Daniel Andrews and the CHO Brett Sutton.

I look forward to having her vaccinated against COVID-19, when there is a fully approved vaccine, with long term testing and when the manufacturers have not been granted immunity from prosecution from adverse events. All of my children have had all their childhood vaccines. I guess I did as well (can’t remember), but I have certainly taken them as advised when travelling overseas.

Last year I cancelled her 12th Birthday party in March out of concern around COVID-19. This was before the first lockdown, and as it turned out, the first lockdown would have prevented her from having a party anyway.

Sometime between then and November, three (3) vaccines for coronaviruses were made, tested, and manufactured. The search for a vaccine for coronaviruses has been going on for many decades. The only difference between the previous (failed) vaccines for coronaviruses and now, is that there is no requirement for long term testing.

As it stands, the vaccine has only been approved for emergency use and lacks any medium- and long-term testing. The world-wide roll out has provided short term testing, the results of which are still being put together in a coherent way. Whilst the vaccines should be made available for those who have spoken with their doctors, understand the risks and consent, emergency use vaccines should never be made mandatory.

We do not want to create classes within society, based on whether you undertake a medical procedure. This is medical apartheid and makes no sense, as the vaccine does not prevent you contracting or transmitting the virus.

Please do not allow the Victorian Labour Government, led by Daniel Andrews to ram the changes to the Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment (Pandemic Management) Bill 2021 through parliament. We have taken so much from our children already – education, sport, friendship and socialisation. Please don’t take anymore. Our children’s future society is in your hands.

Sincerely,

Thank you for all the information and views you all contribute, which I am sure you can see reflected in the above letter. I tried to keep it simple, with facts they know to be true, without having to check, as I don’t think that the Politicians the inclination to get across the issues at a granular level. The exact opposite of many here.

After this happened, the next day I went out and got my first jab (my arm is still sore – hoping that means it was muscle – no blood on bandaid) – I was so scared that something would happen to the kids and I’d be locked out – not just of school/sport events, but if they were injured.

I have lurked here for a long time and called myself Zena a few weeks ago to comment. Not feeling very Zena now. Making the 400km round trip to protest on Saturday. And I hope my italics worked.

Starting to see claims in the international press that the Australian military is now taking people off to the vaxx camps in the NT. Does anyone here know what’s actually happening? That is, first-hand knowledge or reports from someone involved?

Gunner said this:

“Residents of Binjari and Rockhole no longer have the five reasons to leave their homes,” said Northern Territory chief minister, Michael Gunner, referring to the country’s five allowable reasons to avoid lockdown (buying food and supplies, exercising for up to two hours, care or caregiving, work or education if it can’t be done from home, and to get vaccinated at the nearest possible location).

“They can only leave for medical treatment, in an emergency, or as required by law.”

“It’s highly likely that more residents will be transferred to Howard Springs today, either as positive cases or close contacts,” he continued, adding “We have already identified 38 close contacts from Binjari but that number will go up. Those 38 are being transferred now.”

Yep, not only the infected but all their family too.

Blockade Australia: Climate change activist sentenced to prison

A serial climate change activist has been sentenced to 12 months behind bars for his role in a series of protests blockading freight trains in the Hunter.

Eric Serge Herbert will serve at least six months in jail after he was sentenced at Newcastle Local Court on Monday.

Herbert was one of at least 29 people arrested this month in relation to the protests organised by climate change protest group Blockade Australia.

A photo of Herbert posted on the Blockade Australia Facebook page on November 10 shows him standing on top of a freight train’s coal carriage with a fist raised to the sky.

Herbert was charged with cause obstruction to railway locomotive or rolling stock, attempted hinder working of mining equipment, and attempted assisting obstruction of rail locomotive or rolling stock.

It’s the latest in a long-list of charges for the serial pest including a $400 fine for a climate change poster at Bega Local Court in July.

In May Herbert was fined $100 by an ACT magistrate after chaining himself to the wheel of a BMW used to drive politicians to Parliament House for federal budget sittings.

In 2019 he was sentenced to six months’ probation as part of an Extinction Rebellion protest where he locked himself to a car outside a Queensland government building for several hours.

Police last week announced the formation of Strike Force Tuohy to tackle the protesters in the Hunter, after the group crippled freight networks and export surrounding the Port of Newcastle with 20 protests over 11 consecutive days, with freight operators saying the unlawful actions had caused up to $60 million in delayed exports.

Could you elaborate and translate?

sure …
the linked article reads like it was written by a marketing cadet rather than somebody that knows a damn thing.

Havent read the draft and not paying for the new standard

What I dont like, is Dolly from Marketing gibbering on about things that are critical and mixing up sales and safety

According to Solar Choice solar energy gained popularity in 2008 and 2009 following Government tariffs that offered up to 60 c/kWh for solar energy exported into the grid[2]. In the years prior, prices were as high as $15 to $20 per watt marking a significant saving and incentive to invest in solar energy. Since then, prices have dropped to an average of over just $1 per watt.

… small scale solar has been about $1 per watt for about 20 years

At the time the 2014 standard was written, solar panels were at most 250W per panel, but technology is quickly changing, and it’s not unusual for panels to be greater than 400W

what they’re trying to say is that high wattage panels in a string that’s capped at ~600v by the standard, means high currents.
And high currents means high voltage drops and likes to arc

The new standard allows 1000Vdc strings
Higher string voltage means lower current and less propensity to draw an arc on disconnect.
Technically low voltage is less than 1000 Vac or 1500 Vdc but 1000vdc is starting to get pretty ugly.
Personally I wouldnt like to be the mug lying on a rooftop with a 1000Vdv connector in each hand

Spoke to a mate though and he doesnt seem to care
Meh … they’re his electrolytes, he can do what he wants with them

If you still want to use DC isolators then you can, but if you don’t, the standard allows for other solutions such as disconnection points

isolators/disconnection points … same thing
I think they may be talking about string isolators on the roof.
not sure
from what I understand the isolators have to be accessible

Thanks, Bruce. The Australian government (collectively) crossed the line quite some time ago. With this, they appear to have crossed a further line – a much, much further line.

We won’t be voting our way out of this health and safety diktatorship.

Have the companies who promote and sell these vaccines any right to use that term when they fail at basic function?

The US (FDA or CDC) quietly changed the definition of “vaccine” a short while ago, to cover that problem.

China is expanding its capacity to develop weapons that can be fired from hypersonic missiles, suggesting a test this summer that surprised U.S. military officials with its technological accomplishment is part of a program to create new threats for U.S. missile defenses.

One has to ignore what china says and look at what it is doing. why the sudden desire to massively boost its nuclear arsenal? why the desire to be able to hit anyone in the world. the obvious scenario is it wants to be able to deter any retaliation when it invades taiwan.

When antifa was taking over parts of cities, looting burning murdering it was all lalala but ordinary people protesting vaccine passports mandates and permanent pandemic legislation?

As much as the country is stuffed and things look dire, it’s a beautiful thing to watch decades of bullshit that has been rammed down our throats start to unravel. The narratives are falling apart and only the rusted on true believers will remain. All we need now is a few politicians with spine to slash the public service, slash activist taxpayer funding and slash the ABC. These are the remnants of what drives this rubbish, take their oxygen away and let them wither and die!
