Detention for all:

An elite Sydney private school has suspended students after child abuse, racist, sexist and homophobic material was shared in a private chat room.

Knox Grammar is investigating and moved to reassure parents on Wednesday as detectives from the NSW police Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad reviewed the material.

Some students have left the school, which charges up to $35,000 in annual fees, after the group Gang Gang on messaging app Discord was uncovered.

Students from the school were involved in setting up the chat group, The Daily Telegraph reports, and the material shared included videos appearing to show the rape of young men.

There were also comments about wanting to be a pedophile and raping children and account names included N…er Removal Service and F…otthater3000.

Knox Grammar headmaster Scott James sent a letter to parents on Wednesday saying there had been a range of disciplinary messages depending on what each boy had posted. “In regard to the images, some were taken during school activities and later doctored; the school has spoken with all families of identifiable students,” he said.

So flicking through the channels and land on a quiz show, called Win The Week. Standard fare, except a face looked familiar. Press button for information about the guests, and blow me down with a very faint zephyr, Grace Tame is participating.
Every bit as ugly as you imagine, if she smiled, her face would crack into a million pieces. Hosted by a POC.

the dna of wokeism is pure communism.

wokeism takes the notion of hegelian dialectic to its ultimate conclusion. its worldview is one of purification of everything wrong with the world towards the shining light of an enlightened techno utopia.

Microdots can be fairly cheaply produced now, the best way to not be debanked is crypto currency and not a stupid one like government coin, Fed coin or Doge.

with an ip for life you can be basically expelled from every aspect of society, including the ability to earn and spend money. without access to the internet, crypto is useless.

Inside China’s controversial mission to reinvent the internet
Huawei is developing the technology for a new network. But what does this mean for the rights of users?

Whereas today’s internet is owned by everyone and no one, they were in the process of building something very different — a new infrastructure that could put power back in the hands of nation states, instead of individuals.

The team who had masterminded the New IP (internet protocol) proposal was from the Chinese telecoms giant Huawei, which had sent the largest delegation of any company to the September meeting.

The idea was to illustrate that the current internet is a relic that has reached the limits of its technical prowess. It was time, Huawei proposed, for a new global network with a top-down design, and the Chinese should be the ones to build it.

“Of course [China] want a technological infrastructure that gives them the absolute control which they have achieved politically, a design that matches the totalitarian impulse,’’ says Shoshana Zuboff, author of The Age of Surveillance Capitalism and a social scientist at Harvard University. “So that is frightening to me and it should be frightening to every single person.”

Zipster
Zipster
August 31, 2022 10:19 pm

The New IP presentation paints a picture of a digital world in 2030 where virtual reality, holographic communication and remote surgery are ubiquitous — and for which our current network is unfit. Traditional IP protocol is described as “unstable” and “vastly insufficient”, with “lots of security, reliability and configuration problems”.

The documents suggest a new network should instead have a “top-to-bottom design” and promote data-sharing schemes across governments “thereby serving AI, Big Data and all kinds of other applications”. Many experts fear that under New IP, internet service providers, usually state-owned, would have control and oversight of every device connected to the network and be able to monitor and gate individual access.

Putin isn’t “standing up” to Biden and Obama, they’re his allies.

If this is so, then the whole war is nothing but a charade to weaken the West. I don’t think this is the case. Putin might be ex-KGB but, he is also a Russian patriot. I do believe that Obama and co. wanted war and did everything they could to provoke it. Just think of all those billions pouring into Ukraine and how many pockets it’s going into. Just another way to bilk the West. But, believe it or not, Russia seems to be the only country at the moment seriously holding out against the NWO, which explains why they are so desperate to win – and to cover up the putrid corruption in Ukraine, of course.

I have lost all respect for America and other Western governments which have sold their people out. If Putin gives them a black eye then all power to him. The pushback has to come from somewhere. There are no heroes in this game.

Hard to believe that the capital city of Mississippi, Jackson, is without running water at the moment. Residents are literally lining up for water.

What is the cause of this?
The only reports I could find were either CNN or NPR.
Lots of mention by both of various elected civic officials. The total & complete lack of bracketed party affiliation eg, (D) or (R) after the names pretty much reveals who is at fault.
No mention of the cause of the problem – which is an answer in itself.

They’re digging up one of the main roads in central Amsterdam – the Niewejdis Voorburgwahl – the reason being the heavy traffic making everything sink. It’s sand underneath and it’s all collapsing. And, on traffic, many…many ICE vehicles. Good luck with going all electric here.

Are you suggesting that the coup, the takeover of Crimea, the First Donbas War, and this current conflict, are an elaborate and intended unfolding of Obama’s, and now Biden’s ‘flexibility'( which is effectively also the position of the national security state in Washington and across the parties)?

The coup was legitimate, unless you think Russia had a right to control Ukraine through Yanukovych who was caught red handed rigging Parliamentary votes.

Assuming Ukraine is controlled by an anti democratic, progressive western influence – okay then does Biden control Sweden now?

Ukraine was more secure with Trump as President. So who then Ukraine for four years?

The concessions Clinton gave militarily with regards to nuclear arms in the 1990s basically ruined America’s nuclear triad. Now who has the most nuclear warheads?

Russia’s nationalism isn’t a front, “right wing” nationalism is.

Putin was an ex KGB colonel. You have to hate the west and capitalism deeply to succeed in that organisation like that. He is literallly allied to China and North Korea.

China and Russia censor the social media they unleash on Western countries. Fake news is literally a Russian phenomenon. Is Putin doing that because he loves Russia, democracy, babies and Christianity?

There’s no Pepes protesting the obviously rigged Russian elections and no twerking on Baidu.

As for Extinction Rebellion and trannies tweaking in Western Cathedrals, follow the money.

The cheek of Joe Aston taking the piss out of the jobs summit!!

Rear Window’s jobs summit preview
The Albanese government’s Jobs and Skills Summit: has so much ever been written about so little?
Welcome to the main non-event, where 142 painstakingly selected rent-seekers will huff and puff and … rubber-stamp the government’s pre-ordained policy path. Someone change the channel already.
The participants are already delirious with self-satisfaction at their momentary relevance to the political agenda, a menagerie of government welfare recipients, the vast majority plucked from the grey secretariats of interest groups.
And what an inspired roll-call for a jobs summit.
Australian Banking Association CEO Anna Bligh will represent the big four, inexorably pushing their customers onto apps as they close branches and lay off tellers. Rio Tinto’s Australian head Kellie Parker can share her expertise in automating Pilbara operations and replacing her workforce with robots.
As for major retailers Brad Banducci of Woolworths, Steve Cain of Coles and Rob Scott of Wesfarmers, well, they all know a thing or two about wage theft.
Alan Joyce is the quintessential jobs summiteer, having relieved 15,400 Qantas Group employees (or 42 per cent of the company’s headcount) of their jobs – including 1800 of them illegally – since taking over the airline in 2008.
PwC’s Tom Seymour and KPMG’s Alison Kitchen are attending, as is appropriate. Their firms have just about supplanted the Australian Public Service, and elsewhere, furnish clients with sound and exorbitant advice on “rightsizing” their workforces.
We know premiers Daniel Andrews and Annastacia Palaszczuk are awesome job-creators, attempting to employ every working-age citizen in the state public sector.
Former Australia Post boss Christine Holgate at least knows how to reward her staff. Perhaps she can be timekeeper?
That clapped-out old doomsayer Ross Garnaut is going. He wants the world to end, so he’ll be right for once.
The Australian Council of Social Services is going. It wants an increase to the JobSeeker payment. The Australian Hotels Association is going. It wants an increase to the JobSeeker payment straight in the pokies.
The National Farmers’ Federation is going. It wants more Samoans shearing sheep and picking fruit for $20 a day (minus food and lodgings). The Master Builders are going – no unions please.
Unfortunately for them, a full quarter of the delegates are representatives of trade unions. Anyone who’s anyone – and plenty who are nobody – in the labour movement will be there, except John Setka, who couldn’t make bail. Just kidding!
And what about who’s not going? Andrew Liveris, global statesman without portfolio, is a glaring omission. What aimless talkfest could be complete without him?
Can you believe it, Albo left off the Australian Chiropractors’ Association! The PM will be black-balled from Alex Malley’s soon-to-be-launched multimedia platform for years.
There’ll also be no Mike Cannon-Brookes. The absence of Double Bay Jesus may be explained by the attendance of Andrew Forrest. Word is there isn’t enough airspace in Parliament’s Great Hall for two messiahs to float. It’s an OH&S thing…

Good on Andrew Laming….

Nine admits its Andrew Laming upskirt story untrue

Nine has admitted the central claim of a television news report about a federal MP – which earned the network a Walkley Award – is untrue, leaving the media company potentially liable for a massive damages payout.

On March 27 last year, Nine aired a segment on its nightly news bulletin in which then federal MP Andrew Laming was accused of committing the criminal offence of taking an inappropriate “upskirting” photo of a Brisbane store worker, Crystal White, without her consent.

Dr Laming was never charged over the incident, and repeatedly requested Nine apologise to him for the erroneous claim that he upskirted Ms White. He also asked for the story to be removed from the network’s digital platforms. Nine refused to comply.

The former politician subsequently launched defamation proceedings against Nine last August, seeking general damages, aggravated damages and special damages, as well as legal costs that will run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Given the imputations carried in the news report suggested serious criminal behaviour, any damages payout awarded to Dr Laming would likely be a six-figure sum.

For the past 12 months, Nine has defended the truth of the news report but last Thursday the network quietly amended its defence in the Federal Court, six weeks before the matter was to go to trial.

The amended documents withdrew most of the news report’s central claims, most notably that Dr Laming had taken a lewd photograph of Ms White.

The lodged documents also include an admission that the news report had conveyed some defamatory imputations of Dr Laming and he was “entitled to damages”.

Nine has entirely withdrawn its “truth” defence in relation to the “upskirting” claim, as well as its defences of “qualified privilege” and “honest opinion”.

In February, Nine journalists Peter Fegan and Rebeka Powell won a Walkley Award in the television/video news reporting category for their submitted work titled “The Investigation of Andrew Laming”, despite the defamation action being before the courts at the time.

Walkley Foundation chief executive Shona Martyn said the journalism awards body “is aware this matter is before the courts and will monitor the situation”.

Nine declined to comment on Wednesday.

In launching defamation proceedings last year, Dr Laming’s lawyers claimed: “By reason of publication by Nine Network and TCN 9 of the Nine news report, and the republications of it and the substantial grapevine effect, Laming has been gravely injured in his character and reputation, and has suffered substantial hurt, distress and embarrassment and has and will continue to suffer loss and damage.”

The claim outlined various aggravating factors of Dr Laming’s “hurt”, including Nine’s characterisation of Ms White as his “victim … The respondents knew and intended that the allegations in the Nine news report would irrevocably damage Laming’s personal and professional reputation.”

The parties have been ordered to attend a mediation hearing in the Federal Court on Friday.”

Some further points…

1. I hope Laming wins big time.

2. I know legal action is expensive and draining but when you’ve been defamed by the left, you must take action through the courts.

3. Just a reminder, the unlamented Scumbag Morrison didn’t have Laming’s back throughout this ordeal. Instead, Scumbag Morrison, just like he did with Kelly, Christensen and Porter, turned his back on them and sided with the left.

4. Will the Wokley be revoked? Not on your nelly, Louse Nilligan’s Wokley still hasn’t been revoked.

In a statement, the department confirmed the temporary accommodation arrangement saying “while it is not ideal for arrivals to stay here, this is being used as a temporary measure while the Government works to find alternative accommodation without delay.

The above statement refers to Ireland and housing “boat-folk” in a sporting stadium whilst they source more permanent accomodation for them but always amazes me how western gummints can bend over backwards to ensure “boat-folk” are housed immediately but never seem to have any interests in home-grown “homelessness” issues!

ROFLMAO.

As I suspected when m0nty-fa first linked to the photo of classified document folders spread out across the floor, it was not Trump being careless, it was the FBI setting up a photo-shoot that could be leaked to favoured j’ismists. m0nty-fa also suggested that parts of the covers were whited out, potentially interfering with evidence.

It thus seems likely that the FBI, as with the Mueller “investigation”, has no intention of facing up to a court in this matter. They will follow the previous Crossfire Hurricane technique of leaks to favoured j’ismists and entrapment of lower level Trump staffers on procedural “crimes” such as lying to the FBI. They will then lean on these “criminals”, threatening to bankrupt them, to persuade them to say things that can add to the entirely political “narrative” now being constructed.

Tax reform teal Allegra Spender’s $280m deal revealed

exclusive
Jess Malcolm
Reporter
@jessmalcolm1
An hour ago September 1, 2022
213 Comments

Wentworth independent MP Allegra Spender is a corporate director of a private Australian company that did not pay tax on a $280m payment it received in 2019, according to annual transparency reports published by the Australian Taxation Office.

A spokesman for Ms Spender said the $280m payment was a one-off dividend payment from “related companies” that had already been taxed at the full corporate rate of 30 per cent.

“Allegra is an experienced company director,” he said. “She is a director of Waeriver, Tirano and Arodene investment holding companies. She was appointed a director of Waeriver in 2005.

“There was a one-off dividend from related companies to Waeriver of $280m in FY2019 – $84m of tax, at the full 30 per cent corporate tax rate, had already been paid by related companies on that income in prior years.”

The payment was made to a private company called Waeriver Pty Ltd, of which Ms Spender is a director alongside her sister and Australian fashion designer Bianca and half-brother Johan Alexander Schuman.

Ms Spender, who campaigned on a platform of integrity in politics, said the investments were passive and vowed to declare any conflicts of interest with them going forward.

“These are passive investment companies with no operations and managed at arm’s length,” she said.

“Given this arm’s length relationship and passive investments, I don’t expect any conflicts of interest but if any arise, I will declare them and manage them to ensure that they do not affect my ability to represent my electorate.”

Company reports show Waeriver is headquartered at the Carla Zampatti Building in Sydney.

Under the tax transparency laws brought in by the former Labor government, the ATO is required to produce an annual report on certain corporate tax entities. The report reveals tax paid by public and foreign corporations with a total income of $100m or more, as well as Australian-owned resident private corporations with a total income of $200m or more.

I’m happy to be corrected but, even though tax has been paid at the 30 cent rate, doesn’t La Spender still have to pay the difference between the 30 cents, and whatever the applicable rate is?

They pursued Carter Page because an FBI informant lined up a phone call from another FBI asset & he couldn’t remember the phone call, or how long the phone call took.
He actually thought it was a wrong number.
He was still pursued under an obstruction of justice scenario.

Just Days After Phasing Out New Gas Cars, California Says “Avoid Charging EVs” Amid Grid Emergency

Shortly after 1800ET, just as Californians begin to head home for the day, the California Independent System Operator issued a level-1 energy emergency alert shortly after tapping all its available power supplies.

Despite earlier warnings to reduce usage, Californians – in all their self-righteous virtue – decided to charge their EV anyway, pushing demand above capacity

Bear in mind that it is not even in the scheduled Flex Alert period (from 4pm to 9pm PST) yet.

“It’s pretty clear Mother Nature has outrun us,” California Governor Gavin Newsom, who issued an executive order Wednesday to free up emergency power supplies, said during a news conference.

“The reality is we’re living in an age of extremes — extreme heat, extreme drought.”

. and extreme lack of grid preparedness for your state’s virtue-signaling.

Update (1600ET): As the day went on, California warmed up more than expected and that has prompted California’s grid operator to issue a specific warning of the potential for power shortfalls that could lead to blackouts on Wednesday night.

Officials asked residents to cut back on power use Wednesday between 4 and 9 p.m. as temperatures soar above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

“This is a manifestation of what CAISO warned folks about back in May, that unless they see voluntary curtailments the grid could become unstable during certain periods of high demand,” said Gary Cunningham, director of market research at risk management firm Tradition Energy.

“In this case it is extreme heat that is causing it, but overall weakness in the supply picture are adding to the issue.”

The heat poses the biggest test to the grid since the summer of 2020, when rolling outages engulfed portions of the state.

Norwegian Tesla Owners Go On Hunger Strike Over Company’s Poor Customer Service And Build Quality

The owners are taking exception with “poor customer service” and being “ignored by the automaker” as phone calls go unanswered.

According to the report, the list of issues with their vehicles includes “poor paint quality, rust, inability to meet claimed battery life, failing heat pumps, stuck door handles in the cold, and yellowing infotainment screens (that Tesla told the NHTSA were only meant to last “5-6 years” anyway).”

Some have also suffered “issues with the car’s lights, bubbling seats, water collecting in the trunk, loose trim pieces, and reduced power”, while others are simply complaining that “autopilot does not work properly”.

Tell us something we don’t know…

Regardless, owners felt like they had to escalate the issue because the company’s customer service is awful. They complain about spending “an inordinate amount of time waiting on hold to actually speak with someone from Tesla” and not having their calls returned. The Drive even commented that they have heard “similar complaints” from U.S. owners.

Western Allies Led By UK’s Johnson Sabotaged Tentative Ukraine-Russia Peace Deal… In April

There’s mounting evidence that the war in Ukraine could have been over by this point, but key Western backers of Kiev sought to sabotage the potential for peaceful settlement through negotiations. That’s precisely what regional Ukrainian media reports concluded as early as May, soon after the UK’s Boris Johnson showed up in the capital on a “surprise” visit to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky for the first time the month prior

This is what a bombshell story in Ukrainska Pravda said at the time, but which was almost completely ignored in Western mainstream media:

According Ukrainska Pravda sources close to Zelenskyy, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson, who appeared in the capital almost without warning,

brought two simple messages. The first is that Putin is a war criminal, he should be pressured, not negotiated with.

And the second is that even if Ukraine is ready to sign some agreements on guarantees with Putin, they [the UK and US] are not. Johnson’s position was that the collective West, which back in February had suggested Zelenskyy should surrender and flee, now felt that Putin was not really as powerful as they had previously imagined, and that here was a chance to “press him.”

The Ukrainian media English-language report went on to emphasize that Three days after Johnson left for Britain, Putin went public and said talks with Ukraine “had turned into a dead end”.

SUBMISSION TO THE CLIMATE CHANGE BILL INQUIRY
CLIMATE CHANGE

As elected members of parliament we have a shared solemn duty to behave with integrity.

This embraces our duty to ensure legislation and policies are solidly based on accurate and objective data so that the consequences on our constituents and nation are safe, affordable, reasonable and fair.

Yet Attachment 1

shows there has never been, and there remains no, factual scientific basis presented in parliament for legislation cutting or limiting the production of carbon dioxide from human activity. Parliament has never debated the climate science.

The term logical scientific point means the empirical scientific data within a logical scientific framework proving causality. Senators and members of parliament have never been presented with the necessary logical scientific points to justify legislating the cutting or limiting of carbon dioxide from human activity. Nor has parliament ever been presented with the specific, quantified effect of carbon dioxide from human activity on any aspect of climate or weather.

Attachment 2

shows that CSIRO, the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) and The Chief Scientist have never produced the logical scientific points needed as the necessary and essential basis for climate change legislation. The supporting detailed scientific documents are Attachments 6 and 7.

I acknowledge and thank Senator Arthur Sinodinos as then Minister for Science and his predecessor Mr Greg Hunt for supporting me in arranging for my science and senate office teams to cross-examine government climate science agencies.

Enclosures: Attachments 1 through 9

Attachment 1 – Political Basis Driving Climate and Related Energy Policies
Attachment 2 – Cross-examining Government Science Agencies
Attachment 3 – Other Agencies, Institutions and Universities Fail to Prove Causality
Attachment 4 – Natural Global Experiments Confirm Carbon Dioxide’s Innocence
Attachment 5 – The Basis for Honest Policy and Legislation
Attachment 6 – The Savage Economic Burden of Policies Contradicting the Science
Attachment 7 – Restoring Scientific Integrity
Attachment 8 – Scientific and Statistical Analysis of CSIRO’s Presentations
Attachment 9 – The Hidden cost of Climate Policies and Renewables

In its presentations to my team and I, the CSIRO stated that there is no danger from carbon dioxide from human activity and that there is nothing unprecedented about our planet’s temperature.
Therefore, there is no scientific justification for any government to introduce policies designed to reduce carbon dioxide from human activity.

We are calling for all climate-based policies and subsidies for renewable energy to be rescinded. The consequences of climate alarmism cost the Australian economy in productivity and growth, and in our ability to compete in the highly competitive international arena.

Clearly, it is time to change our approach to climate change. These Bills must be rejected.

Yours sincerely,

Malcolm Roberts

Poor old Ramirez – a first class cartoonist matched with a second rate mind.

So how does he imagine the raid on Mar-a-Lago is his own fault.

He took documents when he left office – well, he was entitled to as a President leaving office. They have all done it. Obama took what, 33 million? And he has returned none, while Trump had been cooperating with the DOJ returning what they asked.

That the docs were confidential? The mechanism by which documents can be declassified is well understood. What is striking is the suspicious circumlocution “documents marked classified” (which covers documents that were classified but no longer are) rather than the more succinct “classified documents”. Officially they use the former, but when it gets into the crumbling ramshackle minds of talking heads and trolls it is just regurgitated as ‘classified documents’ blabbing that most significant distinction the alphabet agencies avoid. But they have far greater reach that the press releases…

The agencies involved are bending over backwards to keep concealed their real motivations, and even their purported ones as would appear in documents like the affidavit. No, not suspicious at all.

And Ramirez thinks Trump is the problem. But considering the appalling record of the alphabet agencies and the fact they see Trump as the enemy he really ought to consider that Trump is the good guy.

But he, and so many, cling to this certainty of Trump’s criminality no matter how elusive foundation is. It is like (drawing on an image I have used before) kids playing that game kerplunk where, as each of the first few straws of accusation is removed as it is revealed to be false, they expect that all the little balls can remain suspended if you carefully remove all the straws.

In reality, they just lose their marbles.

California Will Now Punish Doctors For Refusing To Comply With The Establishment COVID Narrative

In January of this year the California state government formed the “Vaccine Work Group” which was tasked to construct a series of draconian bills designed to silence the large percentage of the population that refuses to comply with covid lockdowns and vaccine mandates. Most of these bills have since been attempted and have failed to pass or have been shelved. They included:

Only one bill put together by the Vaccine Work Group has been passed by the state senate, and it is being sent for approval by Governor Gavin Newsom this week. Doctors and other medical professionals accused of spreading “disinformation” and “misinformation” can now have their state license suspended or revoked by the Medical Board or Osteopathic Medical Board of California for “unprofessional, conduct.”

The bill defines “misinformation” as: False information that is contradicted by contemporary scientific consensus contrary to the standard of care.

Note that it does not define misinformation as info that is contrary to scientific facts and evidence. Rather, it defines it as something that runs contrary to “consensus” and “standards of care.” The state government gets to dictate what the consensus is, and what the standard of care is. Meaning, any doctor that contradicts the STATE is subject to punishment. Science has nothing to do with it.

In a lawsuit against California’s Medical Board, Physicians for Informed Consent called the bill an attempt to “unconstitutionally target dissenting physicians, including by attempting to intimidate by investigation, censor and sanction physicians who publicly disagree with the government’s ever-evolving, erratic, and contradictory public health Covid-19 edicts.”

Chris Dawson will not apply for bail after his conviction for murdering his wife Lynette.

Dawson’s lawyer Greg Walsh told Supreme Court judge Ian Harrison he would not be applying for bail, despite asking for a bail hearing after Dawson’s trial on Tuesday.

Dawson appeared in the same court, 13A, and before the same Supreme Court judge, Ian Harrison SC, at 9.30am Thursday. He was escorted into court wearing a green prison-issue tracksuit and green shoes.

Poor old zero comprehension skills m0nty beclowns himself yet again. One person did comment on her looks but pathetically mentally defective m0nty can’t comprehend that the other were commenting on her behaviour, not her looks.
It’s desperately sad. Poor old halfwit.

I don’t recall you denouncing Magda Szubanski’s vicious bagging of Jenny Morrison last year, bagging what Jenny was wearing and implying that she was a far-right loon.

She retweeted a pic of Jenny wearing a dull black dress watching Scott sign something and said, “I genuinely thought this was a photoshopped Handmaid’s Tale meme. But no. It’s 21st century Aussie life.”

If you are a delicate snowflake who is triggered by that gentle ribbing, perhaps you need to retreat to a safe space.

You really are a flat hypocritical slug.

Thank you for proving my point.

Hypothetical.
How would people feel if Dawson horse traded for the site of the body for a shorter sentence?

Reveal the location of the body, and you are eligible for parole?

Has Dawson decided to reveal location?
He’s 73 isn’t he?
I can’t see how a deal that allowed him the prospect of rejoining the world in his mid eighties (on parole) would be unreasonable trade off.

Not bagging you, bj, but the the forensic scale in the foreground was a bit of giveaway.

It was pretty much like those displays that the cops put on when they raid a crim’s house and come away with bags of drugs or a cache of weapons. They get spread out on a table or on the floor for Plod to show off the haul. Except this time it was Top Secret humint documents.

Cassie mentioned “endless progressive baggings of Jenny Morrison’s looks”. This tweet contained no bagging of Jenny Morrison’s looks. It referenced what she was wearing, which is a different thing. Also, one tweet does not constitute “endless”.

It was also hilarious that Trump posted on Truth Social about the picture, which will put him further in the muck because he can’t claim any more that the FBI planted the documents, or that he didn’t know where they were stored – all because he was worried that people would think he was messy. DOJ playing him like a fiddle.

Pope encourages commitments for Season of Creation

Pope Francis calls for concrete commitment to care for our common home. His words come ahead of the World Day of Prayer for Creation celebrated on 1 September which kicks off the Season of Creation which lasts till 4 October.

He also prayed during this Season of Creation that the United Nations COP27 and COP15 summits may “unite the human family in decisively addressing the twin crises of climate and reduced biodiversity.”

Definitely not what I’ll be praying.

Pretty much.
Except in those cases the display is usually the result of investigation, evidence of illegality, and the cops also usually come away with a perp in handcuffs.

It’s probably less usual to have contended evidence displayed against a moving background of investigation, leaks to the media, dissembling by the prosecuting agency, and no charges or specific allegations against an individual.

Sure, a fine distinction; but pretty much how you’d like a ‘rule of law’ jurisdiction to work.

ftb, I’d welcome it.
The family has been through four decades of grief and a funeral for Lyn’s remains would be helpful for them now.
I’m not sure what “closure” really means, but the certainty provided by disclosing the site of her remains must be of great help in dealing with the finality of Lyn’s life.

Been watching a medium sized building (about 10 storeys) go up nearby with a crane to match for the last several months.

Until today, the crane had a smallish Aboriginal flag hanging off it, presumably to act as a windsock. This morning, above the Aboriginal flag someone has hung a very large Australian flag. 🙂

Hmmm, a bit of short term memory loss here. Yesterday you pounced on the photo as proof that Trump was careless with classified documents, leaving them scattered on the floor.

Now you have no criticism of the FBI “agents”(funny way to spell clowns, but whatever) who spread them over the floor, photographed them and leaked them to the media. Hypocrite, what?

Fact check m0nty – I found several instances of abuse, led by Kathy Leete, Magda Szubanski (who “tippled down” on her abuse after being criticised for it), Mike Cannon Brooks, and this pearler: Social media platform Twitter lit up with vile attacks against Mrs Morrison
So yes, “endless” is an accurate description of the abuse heaped on the wife of a conservative PM.

What an own goal by the fat imbecile.
Yesterday it was “here’s how Trump left the documents”, today it’s “this looks like the way cops arrange the evidence for display”.
Newsflash for the fat imbecile – when the cops arrange drugs or stolen goods for display, the evidence of the crime is the nature of the material and how it’s displayed is irrelevant. Here, there’s nothing illegal in the material per se, so if the FBI have arranged them for display, the display is not evidence of any wrongdoing.
Poor old mental defective.
