It’s not the first time time we’ve had a nutty king. At least this time he has little power and influence. Emagin what a president Albo would do.

The PM is more powerful than the US President disregarding how much stronger the US is than Australia. No medieval King had “Total information awareness”, metadata, satellite & drone surveillanceof civilians and a germinating Digital ID Bill.

Yeah, no. That’s what cretins like dumbgeld, the ACT clown council and the braindead lamestream meeja want you to believe.

More like an “incorrect” verdict was delivered by the jurors.

I strongly suspect it was leaning heavily towards acquittal and a Britnah-friendly juror was fearful a majority verdict to acquit might get up.

Babs didn’t have to lift a finger!

Astonishing footage captured a boat filled with migrants landing on the beach in ritzy Malibu – close to the home of famed bleeding-heart liberal Barbra Streisand.

Around 25 people were seen leaping out of the vessel around 1am November 28, near the $100 million compound of Streisand an arch critic of Donald Trump, who called his border wall a ‘monument to himself’.

The migrants all appear to have quickly fled the scene, meaning neither Streisand nor the scores of other wealthy, anti-border wall stars living in the area had to help them out, or offer shelter.

What a fantastic Janet A column today in the Oz.
If only Sheridan could maintain that level of rational thought.

The Paywallian has — by far — the Australian print media’s best op-ed section.

Unfortunately, that’s all it has.

It doesn’t have the op-ed section’s natural complement, an investigative section, dedicated to breaking stories.

So it rarely breaks stories — just occasional freelance efforts from the likes of Sharri Markson after allowing its designated investigative reporter, Hedley Thomas, to wander off into semi-retirement.

Note: breaking original news stories is an expensive, resource-consuming business, which is why so little of it is being done. It remains the one glaring black hole in Australian journalism (investigative journalism by left-wing media doesn’t count as it doesn’t operate in the public interest, only as a gotcha factory to destroy the left’s tribal enemies.)

I realise my repetition on this topic must be getting tedious, but I don’t think it can be emphasised too much how the majority of the media has contributed to the success of h@m@as’s plans.

I’ve pondered previously if h@m@as’s aims were for a reputational rather than military, victory (in the eyes of both donors, potential supporters, and other ‘friendly’ competitors in the region); a goal that could not have been achieved beyond the local level without the enthusiastic (arguably orgiastic) promulgation of their narrative by the western international media. Regardless of how much Israel degrades their present kinetic capabilities, h@m@s now has a significant place in history, and the potential to be reborn in the future, based on their name and reputation alone.

Just a reminder, I said:

(Unless keeping Netanyahu and his crooked wife out of gaol, comes before National security, of course).

Israel currently, has one ally. That ally is not only broke, but the “ruling” party has seen its approval ratings fall through the floor in multiple, must hold states.

Hope lost for youngest and oldest Israel hostages taken by Hamas

By richard spencer
Contributor

The oldest hostage being held in Gaza has died, residents of his kibbutz said, as Hamas claimed it had offered to return the body of the youngest.

The Nir Oz kibbutz released a statement mourning the death of Arye Zalmanovich, 86, one of its founders in 1955. He had managed to send a text to one of his sons saying that it was under attack before he was abducted.

The statement hailed him as “a man of the earth, engaged in agriculture and farming”, but also as “a man of books, who had extensive knowledge in the fields of history and the land of Israel”.
Read Next

The kibbutz did not say how his death was verified, but added that other members had also been murdered in captivity. It named them as Maya Goren, 56, a teacher at the kibbutz kindergarten, and Ronen Engel, 54, a photographer. The deaths were confirmed by the IDF.

Goren’s husband, Avner, 56, was killed on the day of the attack.

One of their sons paid tribute to her, revealing that the family knew she had been badly injured when she was taken. “I cannot stop thinking about you,” he wrote. “I don’t know when you weren’t with us any more.”

Engel’s family were also kidnapped. His wife Karina Engel-Bart, 51, and daughters Mika, 18, and Yuval, 11, were released on Monday during the ceasefire.

The fate of the remaining hostages was central to the collapse of the ceasefire on Friday, according to reports emerging from negotiators in Qatar. Israel had demanded that at least 10 women or children be freed every day in return for the continuation of the ceasefire and 80 were set free over the course of the seven-day truce.

Hamas on Friday presented a list of only seven names along with an offer to return the bodies of three hostages, which Israel rejected.

A later Hamas statement identified the bodies as those of Shiri Bibas, 32, and her sons Ariel, four, and Kfir, 10 months. Kfir was the youngest hostage taken on October 7 and his fate had been the subject of emotional appeals by family members demanding to know why he and his family had not been on any previous list of hostages to be set free.

Hamas also offered to release the boys’ father, Yarden, “for the funeral” but said the Israeli side was “unresponsive”.

Hamas released a video of Yarden’s reaction to being informed of his family’s death, allegedly in an Israeli strike. Israel denounced the video as a form of “psychological terror” and said it would not respond to the offer of the bodies, which it called “propaganda”.

The Israel Defence Forces said they had not yet verified the family’s deaths.

The IDF later said it had informed families of the three hostages’ deaths after verifying them. It added the names of two other hostages whose deaths it could confirm – Eliyahu Margalit, 75, and Ofir Tsarfati, 27, whose body it had retrieved. The family of Guy Illouz, 26, who had also been declared to be a hostage, were also informed that he was dead, though the circumstances of his case were not given. The information of the deaths is said to have come from released hostages.

Bald and Bankrupt:

PART THREE: Ask any migrant heading north to the USA which part of the journey they fear most and they will all answer with two words: La Bestia. In English it is translated to The Beast and it deserves the name. Terrible things happen to people on The Beast, from kidnap by the cartel, robbery by immigration officers or just losing a limb below its rolling wheels. And yet myself and @TimmyKarter knew that if we wanted to really experience the Caminante lifestyle then we too would have to face the dangers and confront the very thing migrants fear most…Join us!

I think it was a reference to the bunfight between The Toad and Ten over Toad ditching Ten’s lawyers and engaging Ms Crysanthou of the Queen’s Bench to act for her.
The Toad wants Ten to pick up the tab (currently 700 large) for Sue’s labours on behalf of Toad, but Ten are of the view their legal help is quite sufficient for Toad’s needs.
Never fear.
Sue won’t be working pro boner on this one in the long run. It might get messy and she might end up owning a house in Mosman or a failing TV station, but she will get paid.
If there is one legal dictum judges can be counted on to uphold, it is the principle that lawyers always get paid.
As you say, though, Ms Crysanthou of the Queen’s Bench wouldn’t have just launched into this without a watertight letter of engagement signed by Toad. So, in the first instance, Toad will have to pay. If Toad can twist Ten’s arm to cough up, that is neither here nor there to Mr Crysanthou of the Queen’s Bench.

By being fed to pigs, Brick Top-style:

And when you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it’s no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it?

Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs. You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead.

You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the piggies’ digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don’t want to go sievin’ through pig shit, now do you?

They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes.

That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, “as greedy as a pig”.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned Israel’s war cabinet on Thursday that it likely doesn’t have months to wage war against Hamas in Gaza…

Busy boy, that Blinken.
Here he is, 24 hours later, sorting out global food:

Secretary Antony J. Blinken At the UN Climate Conference, COP 28, Leaders Event: Transforming Food Systems in the Face of Climate Change

And it’s apparently a pretty simple issue, too:

Vision for Adapted Crops and Soils is focused on the two fundamental elements of food production, and it really does come down to this: soil and seeds. Like Bill Gates, in this job I’ve had to learn more about food than I ever thought I would, and I’ve been gratified to work with some of the leading experts in the world, including Dr. Cary Fowler, who’s taught me a lot about it.

Russians’ Support for Ukraine War Hits Rock Bottom: Poll (1 Dec)

The Moscow-based research group asked 1,199 adults across Russia a series of questions in a phone poll between October 17 and 22. If these peaceful Palestinian civilians are unable to establish an organisational structure with representatives when it’s really needed and would be welcomed, then maybe that shows they’re unable to form state institutions.

Nowhere in the world will be safe for Hamas’ leadership, with Israel planning to kill the terror group’s kingpins across the globe when the conflict in the Middle East winds down, including the man dubbed ‘the bin Laden of Gaza’.

Working on orders from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the country’s top intelligence agencies are putting together plans to continue to hunt down Hamas’ leaders living in the Gaza Strip and West Bank and abroad in countries including Lebanon, Turkey and Iran.

Israel’s spy agencies have a long history of hunting down and assassinating terror leaders who have committed acts against the Jewish state.

One of the more famous cases was highlighted in director Stephen Spielberg’s 2005 film Munich starring Aussie actor Eric Bana, which tells the story of “Operation Wrath of God” which carried out the killings of 11 terrorist in retaliation for the hostage-taking and murder of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Summer Olympics.

At the top of Israel’s list will be the Hamas leader dubbed “the bin Laden of Gaza”, Yahya Sinwar, who helped to mastermind the October 7 attacks on Israel.

Sinwar, who borrows his moniker from the mastermind of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the US, Osama bin Laden, has spent 22 years in prison in Israel for terrorist murder and kidnap plots.

He is the founder of Hamas’ military wing and its intelligence service and has been the leader of the terror group in Gaza since 2017

Those pesky ‘experts’, at it again to save their sinecures (the Hun):

Far from being just like “a dose of the flu”, getting Covid multiple times can cause premature ageing, hair loss, reduced sex drive and ejaculation difficulty in men.

Bloody hell. This scenario is being put forward by the apparent Australian public health expert Professor Deborah ‘I like your sexy mask’ Lupton, from the UNSW Centre for Social Research in Health and the Social Policy Research Centre.

It comes

PHRASING.

after a major study published in the prestigious Nature Journal last year titled Symptoms and risk factors for long Covid in non-hospitalised adults found that anosmia (loss of smell), hair loss, sneezing, ejaculation difficulty, reduced libido, shortness of breath when resting, fatigue, chest pain and a hoarse voice were among the most common symptoms leading to long Covid.

What horseshit. I’ve had Covid fourteen times (probably), and I’ve been told I may have to change my first name to Rod.

Russia won.

LOL. Russia lost. Ukraine lost too.

As a measure of how bad things really are in Russia this is from a couple days ago.

Putin calls on Russian women to have ‘eight or even more children’ after population fell by 550,000 during first year of his war in Ukraine (30 Nov)

This is at the same time that Russian women have been demonstrating to get their men back. A bit hard to make babies without husbands, who can’t get leave and aren’t being rotated because there isn’t enough infantry to hold the line. Yes that’s Russia. Ukraine is having similar problems too of course. But it is a big tell that Russia is so short of troops it can’t release them from continual front line duty. Should’ve fought smarter Russian General peoples.

In a world of horrible news, here’s something positive.

Our local, large Coles has an employee my mother calls “Mrs Cos”, because once she asked if there were any fresher packs of the lettuce available and the lady popped out the back and brought in the newest shipment. So…every time my mother shopped there, they would have a nice little chat about the fruit and veggies and other stuff. Fast forward and Mum’s an invalid on a walker, being shepherded around Coles by my brother, still having chats with Mrs Cos.

Today my brother went in alone. “How’s mum?”, she asked. “A bit fragile, Dad died on Thursday.”.

This dear lady expressed dismay and sympathy, raced out to the fresh rack of flowers she had just arranged and bought a big bunch of roses. “Give these to mum”, she told him.

There are some very kind people up here. I’m glad we moved up when we did.

Allowing for the fact that both players have been shown to be dumb liars, and that there is absolutely no evidence of a crime having been committed, this is what most probably happened between Brucie and Hoggins in 2019.

Despite being serviced (or maybe not..) by his then GF, Brucie had had his eye on Hoggins for some time.
In late February 2019, the opportunity arose, unexpectedly, for he stupidly forgot his PH swipe card in his office, restricting his options later.

Not believing his luck at the bar in Kingston, Brucie “invested” some of his CC, and maybe some cash, into some drinks to make the Hog suitably malleable.

Hoggins happily drank 11+ standard drinks of spirits, mostly paid by others, while surveying the land for suitable pluggers.
As you know, panties and bra being mere impediments to her plans, the Hog was on the hunt for some Bumble-Tinder action, despite having a BF at the time.

While keeping his then-GF suitably unaware of his Lotharian intent, Brucie planned to finally snog the Hog back in Reynold’s office.
Hoggins, late in the evening, had failed to attract suitable cock, and so latched on to Brucie as a potentially positive career move, since he was her superior in Reynold’s office
Stupidly playing along, Hoggins followed Brucie back to PH.

Because he’s not quite as bright as a burnt-out lightbulb, while entering PH with Hoggins, Brucie made up some really dumb BS to get thru security.

Once in Reynold’s Ministerial Suite, after the security guard had duly pissed off, Brucie put the hard word on Hoggins who, despite being on her way to full-on ETOH intoxication, just laughed at the insolent ham.

Humiliated, Brucie stormed off into his office, most probably cranked one out, cooled down and left PH about 40 minutes after entry.

In the meantime, so as to avoid vomit stains, Hoggins removed her dress, for an irresistible force was about to overwhelm her.

She then daintly vomited over $100 worth of undigested spirits into the office toilet. Then, almost comatose, laid down on Reynold’s couch, starkers, where she was found by the same security guard that let her in some hours earlier.

Hoggins SMSed and spoke to Brucie over the next few days, as if nothing major had happened..
For she was trying to minimise the chances of retribution by her senior, the chubby Machiavellian genius.

But then the chickens came home to roost for the unlucky couple.

Called into Fiona Brown’s office 4 days after the failed tryst, Hoggins was faced with the threat of the ministerial boot that Brucie had just experienced, that she had seen with her own eyes.
She, cleverly, cunningly brainstormed the assault claim that transformed her, from a slutty chancer, into the blameless, virginal, whiter-than-thou, helpless, woe-is-me supreme victim.

The ministerial boot was never again seen around the newly canonised St Hoggins.

And, except for the fact that her planning for this appalling con was worse than her morals, she could have got away with it.

One of the things that convinces muslims that they will win, despite the so obvious to somewhat dispassionate observers, disparity of pitting human shields, rockets, rpgs, grenades and guns against an enemy that controls the sea, the sky and a far more sophisticated army, is not just a belief that allah is on their side, but that their own passion for martyrdom will overwhelm that superior firepower of Israel, and that Israelis, being in part secular and in part well, only Jews, do not have that passion (see comments by Cherie Blair’s half sister for an example).
But Israelis are fighting for their very existence, in the plain sight of atrocities committed against their countrymen, their correligionists in a place they have chosen to live despite the many many trials of the last 75 years.
Sure regrouping has allowed hamas to fire off extra useless rockets in the last 24 hours but that’s it, really, expecting that to peter out over the next couple of weeks, perhaps sooner.
And sure they might be ‘winning’ the propaganda war, if indeed social media is ‘the room’ but Israel isn’t focused on winning the social media war, though she pays it some attention, she’s focused on destroying hamas and rescuing whoever is left to rescue.
And really while hamas wants as many civilians dead as possible, Israel is trying to minimise those deaths (what can you do when civilians refuse to leave combat zone) but it’s noteworthy some propaganda is getting too much even for the western msm, the claims about decomposing babies in nasr hospital, the 37 day miracle rescue and today the couple throwing around a doll with ridiculously outsize eyes pretending it’s a dead baby.

More NATO countries to the north, a rearming of NATO countries, NATO gains valuable intelligence data from the conflict. Loss of energy sales that will never return, loss of trade possibilities, loss of future military sales, loss of support from India.

What has Russia won? Some dirt it will have to forever defend and of little economic value.

Some states are sending their own delegates to add to the Australian contingent. South Australia leads the charge with four representatives, including Premier Mike Rann.

Queensland is sending three representatives while NSW, Victoria and Western Australia are sending two apiece.

No organisation I’ve ever worked for, or in, would put a ‘Goodwill’ box in the bosses office for starters. From a tiny 2 teacher school to the senior levels of corporate Australia. Not once in 50 years.

Nor can I envisage any of those most senior managers dropping a Zampatti jacket into a box to encourage the lower echelons to donate their old Myer or, for many at the coal face, their old Target brand outfits.

It’s beyond ludicrous. I’ve been involved in many one off clothing donation days but never an ongoing donation box in a convenient corner of the bosses office. Never happened.

Plus Goodwill is a US entity- Salvos, Savers, Vinnies or the Brotherhood are more believable. Surely the minister will clarify?

Any moment now….

Apropos the Mt. Erebus prang by AirNZ:
One of the neighbours had lost her husband a couple of years before.
She began traveling, all sorts of cruises, tours, etc. On one trip she made friends with a lovely older NZ chap.
She was quietly thrilled to have met a charming, refined gentleman she hit it off with.

There is an old tweed-clad Kiwi “gentleman” around our area.
Renowned for comforting widows and taking the wide comb shears to their savings.

Pleasure is all mine, Sanch. It is very captivating. Two podcasts from Unzud in 2019 for the 40th are interstate. “White Silence” is one. “Litany of lies” is the other. Its been a while since I’ve listened to them. Both interesting but one of them was very biased in favour of the Captain (Collins) and his family. I kinda understand that. But everyone seemed responsible. Dodgy ANZ with its computer flight coordinates, cover ups etc. But for a layman like me, I can’t understand how a flight crew can put a perfectly functional plane into a mountain.

Something about the Antarctic. It seems to humble the most arrogant of people. Whether an airline or Shackleton, or even Robert Falcon Scott and his team including Titus Oates.

There, I had to mention Titus.

Have you attempted to put the most sordid possible patina of grease all over the whole horrible affair?
Applying “never attribute to malice that which is probably just stupidity”

There was no malice in anything I surmised, quite the opposite.
It was all young adult hormonally-driven brain-fog, while keeping one’s eye on the main chance (Hog’s behaviour towards Brucie on, and after, THAT night).

Her brainstorm in Fiona Brown’s office was most likely unplanned.
She saw Brucie pick up his things and leave the office, just before being called in.
She knew she was potentially neck-deep in a lake of steaming diarrhoea.

What she did then was adrenaline-rich, gut survival instinctive, while hoping details of her lie remained vague, very vague.

Serious stupidity and the extricating of oneself from a self-made execution explains the whole thing.
The malevolence came later, from Gallagher, the Wong chap and that lard-arse Shiraz.
The Hog by then well fed by the risibly fake concern of the Machiavellian SFLs for her welfare, thus enforcing her sense of invincible victim-hood.

But that’s another story.

Yep, and yep.

How on earth could something like this offend anyone?

It’s easy to be offended if you are an insecure milquetoast who downticks personalities rather than the content of a post.

The reason for this is, in essence, that the personality downticker is scared of the original poster. For clarity, scared of the poster’s forthright commentary and commitment to a subject which the downticker, anxious for approval from someone – anyone – cannot get near. This is due to a lack of personal fortitude.

These are the ‘cold and timid’ people who Teddy Roosevelt was referring to when he said, inter alia:

his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.

Dodgy ANZ with its computer flight coordinates, cover ups etc. But for a layman like me, I can’t understand how a flight crew can put a perfectly functional plane into a mountain.

In the doco I mentioned earlier, one of the police officers in VI team found Captain Collins ring binder alongside his body. He opened it to find the front pages covered in handwritten coordinates or flight planning. Not being a pilot he wasn’t certain of its importance he bagged it, logged it and it was not until the Royal Commission that he discovered that the 12 or so pages he’d seen had been removed.

He made a point of contacting the Commission but it was glossed over by both the airline and the Commission.

Perhaps the pilot should have had a better idea of where he was but the navigation systems were what he was given to fly by. Plus the doco showed exactly how, in clear sunny conditions , the snow can cause a white out effect that made the mountain invisible right up to the moment of impact.

Extraordinary trivia. Champagne bottles, unbroken, all over the site. The humans unfortunately were not so fortunate. We are more fragile even than glass.

Jury verdicts in the ACT must be unanimous. Supposing (on what evidence?) that the juror who caused a mistrial was the only standout for a not guilty verdict, he or she could simply have refused to budge. No need for folderol.

It’s been reported that staff in Reynold’s office at the relevant time deny that there was Goodwill box there. Maybe Whybrow will cross-examine Higgins on this issue, but he’s onto much more damaging issues.

First, he wants to put in evidence the recording Higgins made of a telephone conversation she had with Minister Cash, to show, I think, that Cash was informed of the rape allegation much later than Higgins claims Cash has asserted. If Cash is correct, this is heavy damage to Higgins’ credibility. (It might be a reason to re-open the justification for Higgins’ large compo payment.)

Justice Lee will rule on Tuesday whether the recording can be played. The law is complicated, and it might turn on whether Higgins agrees. If she doesn’t, this could work against her; (for the lawyers here, via Jones v Dunkel reasoning). Lee J’s ruling looks quite critical. However for reasons that might be obvious, Whybrow KC has gained some ground just by trying to get this evidence in.

Secondly, Whybrow (in Higgins absence) advanced a theory that Higgins was happy that there was no second criminal trial because she saw that that she had a better chance of being vindicated by a justification defence on a defamation claim. In turn, this would be to her financial advantage. His theory makes sense, and Lee J needs to rule on whether he can go ahead and cross-examine Higgins. So far, he’s expressed doubts.

Dodgy ANZ with its computer flight coordinates, cover ups etc. But for a layman like me, I can’t understand how a flight crew can put a perfectly functional plane into a mountain.

It’s easy to understand when you consider there has been a global airline pilot shortage for the past half-century.

The major aircraft manufacturers have responded to the pilot shortage by making airliners capable of being flown by former bus drivers — the reason for the disastrous Ethiiopian Airlines and Lion Air (Indonesia) 737-MAX fatal crashes a decade ago.

There was essentially nothing wrong with the plane: the 737-MAX is still being flown without incident by Western airlines that spent the resources necessary to teach their pilots to fly modern aeroplanes.

Third World airlines chose former bus drivers as their pilots because there was a pilot shortage.

Having said that, the Mount Erebus disaster was a special case where the Air New Zealand DC10 pilots were disoriented by the lack of a horizontal reference in the bright, white Antarctic ice.

There should have been an airman’s advisory about the problem, but there wasn’t.

Those who died were guinea pigs before pilot training caught up with the reality of flying far from civilisation and alternate airports in hostile environments like Antarctica.

STC will be mindful of how many millions it gets from the NSW & Commonwealth govts, & how susceptible those two big money pipelines may be to “Big Money Judaism” whispering in the ears of politicians.

This doesn’t make sense.
If a significant number of private benefactors are Jewish and political funding is influenced by “Big Money Judaism”, they would have rissoled the actors toot sweet.
Why the wet lettuce response if that was the case?
More likely they know that those holding the purse-strings in government are likely to be Ham-Arse sympathisers, hence the half-baked response trying to placate Jewish donors and keep Yartz grants rolling in.
That and being fearful of upsetting the “talent”.
As an aside, I see one of the actors is the son of Hugo Weaving (although doesn’t go by that surname). Isn’t it interesting that the offspring of the usual suspects always seem to land these jobs out of (literally) a cast of thousands.

Tucker is on board with the Younger Dryas theory.

It’s not a theory. Th earth was coming out of the 100,000 long glacial; the huge amount of land ice was melting and pouring into the oceans. Due to the different viscosity of fresh and salt water the fresh water caused a damming effect stopping the currents and distribution of heat. As a result the Earth was plunged back into an ice age state with global temperatures dropping by up to 15C in the most famous Heinrich Event.
