Get some physical exercise every day if possible. If I don’t work in the garden I go for a longish walk.
Avoid screen time for several hours before going to bed.
Try Valerian or if that’s too strong Swisse have a Valerian free tablet called Relax and Sleep which includes hops -a well know soporific! – and magnesium – a muscle relaxant – and a couple of other herbs.
A bed time ritual is advised; stick to it as we are creatures of ritual. Mine includes a prayer which helps me to unload whatever is troubling me onto a greater power, which for me of course is the Triune God into whose Name I was baptised.
We knew this was coming. As we only have, and ever will have, only the one set, moving was a no-brainer. Got as out of lockdown a lot faster, and with needing the needle as well. 🙂

There is high dose valerian at chemists. GABA combined with valerian is pretty good but needs to be taken for a few days to have noticeable effect. As mentioned magnesium, blue light blockers all help.
If none of the above work, then old fashion sleeping tablets by prescription. I find the new ones like stillnox are hypnotics and make me hallucinate. Temazepam is fairly mild but works well.

Well it is not a bad thing to look at the welfare of other people. Why would anyone care.” – future uses might be less benign. After all, post Covid why would they bother collecting this information at all?
I have had friends visit from overseas. They have marvelled at the wide open spaces, the laid-back yet lively spirit, the casual egalitarianism everywhere. Throughout this politidemic the Prime Minister has provided no leadership of the country, no defence of the Constitution and certainly no representation for the people against the petty dictators that are the state premiers and their shocking overreach.
