Jab Pushing Twitter Trolls Give Setka More Clicks
Well, yeah.
They bought booze at the licensed servo*.

* The number of licensed service stations in Melbourne is approximately zero.
HB Bear gives a clue. They don’t want to have to return the money.
“Albo/Mal/Dan/etc, you and your party gave us guarantees for [sub acquisition | jabs]. If you fail the money will be returned!”
I noticed how heavily “curated” Setka’s twitter feed was. Perhaps he thinks others don’t notice.
On his “nipped down to the dollar shop for a hi-viz hoodie”…maybe. I thought they were closed for Covid. Even if open, I doubt whether they sell concrete splattered steel toed Blundstones.
I also reckon the ABC luvvies in Southbank shat their collective dacks yesterday when they realised VikPol couldn’t control the crowd, especially when they started crossing the river.
The CMMFEU protesters are not denigrated just for their actions of the last couple of days, this is a manifestation of class and education. What we are seeing is a battle between the university educated and the TAFE educated or even those with no post-high school education. The university educated – politicians, bureaucrats, the media – look down on anyone not of their class and educational level.
The TAFE educated are bearing the major brunt of the economic consequences of the lockdowns and COVID-19 restrictions.
There is definitely a significant number of people who think Dan is doing a fantastic job including many many thousands in regional Victoria who are terrified of getting Melbourne germs, retailers demanding proof of residence of all unfamiliar faces, almost the entire population rushing to get tested if there is even a hint of a case in town.
Covid panic hasn’t gone away.
just look at Shepparton’s enthusiasm for getting tested. 10 % of the town’s population got tested in a single day.
Yes, Perfidious. Plus they don’t want to get a bag of urine on their nicely styled hair and well-pressed suits. They will call for pwotection today, I bet.

Exactly.

Clearly he had been up all night decorating his new $2 shop vest.
And the fleecy fluoros popular in Melbourne at this time of year fade in the wash. The long shots of the crowd showed a spectrum of oranges and greens, and had clearly been carefully treated to give the impression they were old.
Anyway, why does it matter if they are tradies or not?

Who do they think they are?
Andrew O’Keeffe?
Nadia Bartel?
Particularly poignant Lizzie, in light of the fact a tradie took his own life, on site, shortly after the announcement of the two week shut down, reported by co-workers as being because of the shutdown.

I agree Señor P.
In any case the two dollar shops are shut.

Ah…I thought those shops were shut. Another lie to add to the mountain.
The ADF should never have been deployed in such a manner in the first place, so that’s on Morristeen and Potato Head Dutton as far as I’m concerned. Absolutely disgraceful.
Far out just had earthquake
If you get a text from a covid tracer you either submit to testing or get fined hugely. And all your family. So if the local supermarket is suddenly IDed as an infested pesthole you’ll have a flood of people having to be tested.
But yes there’s a large number of people who’ve swallowed the gaslighting whole too.
The supermarket thing happened here and the authorities set up a new drive in testing site near where I ride treadly. It was flooded with people for several days with cars back a long way. But within a week or so it was empty again, even though cases have been rising in this area.

Earthquake and they banned construction. :p
RickW thanks for the crankshaft clip. It would do Cats a bit of good to see what is involved in the manufacture of just one part. I see it was a replacement crank for a Massey Ferguson. My mate is in the near future (in two minds) going to dispose of a small mill the likes you have never seen. It was designed and built by a young man considered by his father as slightly retarded. His father was the owner of a known manufacturing business who didn’t think this son was fit to run the business so was passed up in favour of his younger brothers. He got the parts cast at a foundry then machined them in the maintenance workshop. It is a combination of a shaper, universal mill, slotting attachment and with a universal divider. The gearing is a sight to behold. He made model steam engines on it. I would love it.
If the boys are out on the streets today perhaps they can get the walls of Vik “Parliament” to fall down.

Richard Fernandez on what AUKUS means for the western Pacific region.
The Dan Earthquake meme industry is running hot:-
Dan in Tianamen Square on the phone, “Unleash the earthquakes!”
.
“Once we reach 80% double-vaxxed, the earthquakes will cease”.
.
“Dan announces that helmets must be worn indoors and outdoors and cannot be removed for eating, drinking or sleeping”.
It is astonishing how many people have forgotten what vaccines are for. The person who takes it is protected. But these loonies seem to be under the impression that getting a vaccine unfairly helps the unvaxxed while leaving themselves vulnerable.
And I am aghast at how much confidence people have in government as soon as that same government starts telling them scary stories about brilliant but bloodthirsty viruses hellbent on slaying the innocent and a malign underworld of ‘anti-vaxxers’ who have devoted themselves to helping the viruses carry out their diabolical plans.
And how much did freedom really mean to them that they have not noticed that freedom is now being cast as what you owe others, your own views be damned.
Perhaps it is because at this moment their fears override all other concerns and hearing freedom being described this way helps manage the anxiety. But one day they will want to resort to the old definition for something they feel strongly about – and it will no longer be available to them.
That Prosecutor is such a beta male.

The 2020 Election case in Georgia took a bizarre twist today in the Peach State. The judge handed the investigation over to the attorneys for the individual who is responsible for creating the mess in the first place, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.

Don’t think it had anything to do with various cases of flouncing.
He also banned the word pizzagate ( can remember because of who and why)
This Judge appears to have no in-principle objection, or feigns to be incapable of understanding, the wrong of someone being jailed for an offense that does not itself carry a prison term because the cops use bail conditions as a means of making the initial offending more onerous. This same shit happens in the US. It’s utter corruption in policing and prosecuting.

The notion that executive can tell you what rights you have without due process (forget for a moment they are not the judicature) or legislative consideration let alone established principles or points of organic law, is repugnant and a throw back to the pre Magna Carta era.
