Another aspect is that internecine quarrels millennia in the making will play out.
A defendant being judged by someone from a tribe that has a grudge against his will complicate things further.
Finally the only person allowed on the jury will be his family and friends. And his girlfriend wheeled into court accompanied by hospital personnel.
It’s in there somewhere is it?
Give it up JC.
It’s time to retire.
Look at the pretty birdies out the window …this is teenage stuff.
As we get older we become more child like….near the end.
Oh I can name that. Its a 7.62 x 54R Mosin Nagant with WW2 era sniper scope and turned down bolt (yes I have one). The optics are pretty tiny, but mine will hit a man sized target out to 500m easily.
Fair enough, but how’s the sisterly love going?
Further to the above, I’ve been wondering if Dover would be interested in a thread about risk, both in terms of numbers and experiences.
Not only could we share stories about our raffish childhoods and the consequences thereof, but we could try to put some perspective on this mad, mad, mad, mad (etc) world.
“The first casualty of war is the truth” – aint that the truth!
Saw reports when I woke up this morning that “Huuuuge explosions heard in Belarus” and thought to myself that “that didn’t sound very good.” My immediate secondary thought was “that doesn’t sound very plausible.”
Turns out they were sonic booms from overpassing aircraft. But then again, perhaps it wasn’t.

Freedom loving Victorian refugees are fleeing to Free QLD – and NSW, to a lesser extent, by the tens of thousand so they can simply work, and also run their businesses without a “ring of steel” being rammed up their behind.
“Libertarian JC” reports in from Victoria where he still happily lives despite having many passports and unlimited money: “Queenslander filth” he sneers like a Romanian to a Texan during the cold war.
You’ve really lost what you had old man. You used to be beautiful! Alas, as so much of 2000’s era boomerconism and libertarianism gone since 2016, it was all a materialistic farce.
What’s that?
Remove a one-party tyranny by replacing it with another one-party tyranny because you deem the average person too stupid or easily distracted or insufficiently motivated to get the outcome you desire?
What is it with you oppressed ‘rebel’ types always wanting to immediately become the oppressors yourselves?
What is it with truck drivers and not turning off their engines? They would back in, and then leave the truck turned on while they went for a cup of tea while it was unloaded.
Do what my brother used to do on the 40+ degree days at the Karratha port when the blokes in white shirts drove onto the refueling jetty to step out and dispense their wisdom to the masses. (for 5 minutes at a time)
They all left their car running with the air con set on “penguin balls” setting. My brother would sneak across and change it to “the crispy, crispy pork crackling” setting instead.
Sneaky little shit, he never got caught and no-one dobbed him in either.
Anyway, I think we shall soon get fairly definitive evidence of who’s winning and who’s losing the war in Ukraine. If it turns out the Russians haven’t been having their arses handed to them this whole time after all, watch the propaganda machine switch from a cocktail of ‘plucky little Ukraine taking down the bear’ mixed with ‘Zelensky so hot’ and a twist of ‘WAR CRIMES’, to ‘WAR CRIMES’ neat. If you’ve been imbibing, please stop. You’re being lied to.
Incidentally, why have RT and Sputnik been censored? I’m not saying these are wonderful news sources, but what could they be broadcasting that’s so outrageous that they need to be silenced?
Bern
Go take a look at the conversations thread. The conversation was going fine until, USSR, Driller, Struth and Hutustix showed up. After that, it was down hill all the way with these pathetic clowns. They’re unable to put together reasonable argument so they lie, exaggerate and degenerate the conversation to crap. Go take a look.
Thanks Duk.
I’ve never owned one, or even handled one.
It’d do the job perfectly in Dobas. Wonder how many of them are in front line use in Donbas?

Yep! Technically 91/30 PU. PU being the designation for the scope, there was also a PEM.
Only 3.5 magnification with a post, but very clear.

I was born into an ancient aristocratic family which was very wealthy, and had extensive lands both in England and on the Continent. All the gold coins and castles we had were absolutely earned through merit.
Somehow it all went bad about 200 years ago, and the mavericks of the family were banished to the colonies. I grew up in a shitpit and had to wear a sack for a dress.
However, being naturally stunning I was soon identified as such, and much like cream rising to the top I excelled at everything I touched despite being afflicted by various level of adversity previously unheard of in human history.
Sexy as fellas. Are you excited?
You bastard head prefect; I thought it was going to be you in the nude. Putin has no pecs and a flabby guts. Pathetic.

Although it’s going to be interesting to see which “Opposition Leader” takes the mantle on for the 2025 State Election…
It’s like CornBall humor.
Russia has already established a No-Fly Zone over the entire Ukraine, so unless Putin calls a halt, the Uke Army will be surrendering en masse quite soon.

No.

“This is not directed to you Cassie, but how about the Russophiles stop referring to Zelensky’s corruption without at least zeroing on Putin’s. That is unless someone is going to suggest Putin is as clean as a whistle.”
JC, I doubt anyone here thinks thinks Vlad is as clean as a whistle. I certainly don’t, sure he’s spent the last two decades feathering his own nest just the way the Sniffer has spent the last four decades lining his pockets. Where did the Sniffer get his dosh? I’m not surprised that a despot like Putin lines his pockets but a senator from Delaware well known for his mediocrity? The Sniffer hasn’t been given any literary advances to write books titled “The Tale of a Corrupt Politician from Delaware” or “My Addiction to Sniffing Little Girl’s Hair” or “The Ballad of Old Joe and Corn Pop”. After the collapse of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s Putin was driving a taxi to earn a crust, which must have been very humiliating, only this afternoon I was talking to someone who visited Russia in 1992 and he said that the economic and social devastation was awful. I do think Vlad is bitter about what happened to the Soviet Union however he doesn’t was to recreate the old Soviet Union, he wants to recreate Imperial Russia. We’ll see how that pans out. As for Zelensky, I actually do think he’s quite brave, foolishly so. And yes, Putin is a brutal dictator who eliminates his enemies but it’s worth remembering that Russia has never been a democracy. That’s how all Russia’s rulers have operated.
Unlike Russia, I always thought that we here in the West do live in a democracy….yet I’m not so sure now. I’ve spent the last few weeks ruminating about why I’m now so tepid about the West. Well, you see I no longer believe that we here in the West have any moral high ground. I’ve lost faith in our governments, our judiciary, our police and our media. I’ve seen our rights, particularly over the last two years, trashed by politicians. I’ve seen people harassed by police, I’ve seen a pregnant woman handcuffed in her pyjamas in her own home…for the crime of a Facebook post, I’ve seen a man thrown to the ground at a Melbourne train station, I’ve seen politicians turn a blind eye to BLM protests yet set the police on men and women protesting for the right to go to work during a ridiculous lockdown, I’ve seen our MSM connive with police and politicians to target individuals like George Pell and Zachary Rolfe and destroy their lives, I’ve seen progressive scum scream “Nazi” at anybody who dares disagree with them, I’ve seen police walk into a church during Mass and harass people, I’ve seen police harass Orthodox Jews for trying to celebrate one of Judaism’s holiest days, I’ve seen and heard so many dreadful things over the last few years here in the West that I’m constantly asking myself if we are any better than a country like Russia? I don’t believe we are, sure maybe I’m being somewhat hyperbolic and melancholy but hearing the news today that Smollett has been released after instigating a serious hoax crime that could have resulted in a race riot yet the January 6 rioters are still languishing in a jail cell is just another example of why I think the West is rotting. And I haven’t even discussed the whole sinister LGBTQRARSE and transgender gunk but one thing is for sure, all of this contributes to the rotting carcass that is the West in 2022. It isn’t the West of our grandparents.
There’s a character called “Living the dream” who haunts the other threads and he’s accused me of being Putin’s moll. It’s laughable and untrue. I don’t defend Putin or the invasion but I no longer defend the West…..because there’s little to defend. That doesn’t make me a Putin apologist.
Can I make an outside prediction, that although I don’t think it will occur I would hunch the bet is now about 25% that it could.
Everyday, Russia looks like WW2 Italy and Putin more and more like Mussolini. If this war ends up being an embarrassing Russian rout, the bearhunter will be strung up head down (like Mussolini)in Red Square and he would thoroughly deserve it too.
OMG, here he is fighting what looks like a bearshark.
I need that on a T shirt!
Somebody upthread mentioned the Brisbane ABC cancer hysteria thing, which cost taxpayers millions. People who do not understand statistics have no idea that clusters are normal, as big zones with nothing are as well.
Looking back at my life, according to the eco-warriors, I am lucky to be alive, and yet, the life expectancy of Australians keeps rising.
I have smoked cigarettes for 50 years, lived in fibro houses, lived under the Zetland garbage burner, shamelessly eaten charred meat, lots of so called ‘junk food’, plenty of salt, taken various drugs, consumed more than the recommended amount of alcohol per day, hate exercise – gosh, is there a single rule I haven’t broken?
But, here I am. I should say that already a few of my contemporaries who ‘did everything right’ are under the sod, not to mention some who didn’t.
This whole ‘life as a moral gymnasium’ stuff is crap.
Northern Territory Police are investigating the death of a man south of Katherine early this morning.
Shortly after 4am, Police were called to a residence 30km south of the township in response to a reported intruder on premises.
Detective Senior Sergeant Jakson Evans said, “On arrival police located the body of a man with an apparent gunshot wound.
“A male resident of the household was arrested and remains in custody, where he is assisting police with inquiries.”
Investigations are ongoing to formally identify the deceased and to determine the circumstances leading up to his death.
“It is still very early in the investigation and many details are as yet unclear. We are still processing the crime scene.”
Are you a “Prince” trying to get our bank account details to get your money out of the country? 😛
Go take a look at the conversations thread.
Which thread is that?
Is that for Platinum DoverCat, because it’s not on the main page.
Winston:
I suppose it keeps the gene pool from getting stagnant, but it’s pretty damn hard on the women.
I have no idea what your talking about here . I said no one was disputing the presence of neo-Nazi militias and parties in Ukraine. It was accepted across the board; the only thing disputed was their size and influence. You’ve done nothing to dispute that apart from asserting that we can’t believe what X said about Y without ever addressing Y. Google Right Sector, for instance.
It took police 12 hours to make a public statement?

War Noir and Calibre Obscura are interesting feeds. The former has quite a few Russian photos and videos that I don’t see elsewhere.
Cassie
I agree with much of what you said. The west, though has the ability to recover and essentially reverse, although it may take some time, but we do have the systems to be able to do so. We do have the ability to self correct. Who would have thought it was possible in the UK just before Maggie T. Russia doesn’t under that thieving rat. Moreover, he’s destroyed the place and he’s going out of his way to destroy the nation next door. This piece of shit, the leader of a nation whose economy is no bigger than Spain’s, threatened nuclear attacks against those that disagree with his position. Fuck him.
Rex, FlyingDuk, Winston:
Thank you for the confirmation. (I’ve never seen one in the flesh)
The main question: What would it be doing there? Is it;
(a) a left over or privately owned item, taken into service by a volunteer?
(b) are the “Russian backed miltia” so poorly equipped they’re using 80-yo gear?
(c) is he a Valery Zaitsev type using his preferred tool of trade? (in which case what is someone so valuable doing frisking people at a checkpoint, where his talent is waste & there’s a chance albeit slim, that a car bomb or last-ditch shootout at a checkpoint, could eliminate him?)
Platinum DoverCat
Oh, aren’t you a member?! 🙂
They top brass were otherwise occupied with actual important police business:
That stack of Seventy-Nine serious-breach-of-discipline-notices aren’t going to serve themselves onto Zachary Rolfe.
You said the other day that your father had turned 95, so in your case it’s genetics and nothing else.
The rest of your comment is uninformed crap as well.
I have no idea what your talking about here .
Yes you do, it your useless trick you bring out when the kettle get a little hot.
You came up with that bullshit about those publications. And then turned around.
What was ever the point of even bringing them up?
No I didn’t. I suspect it’s your frequent inability to understand. I said that I found it difficult to believe Ukraine is floating on nazis when they legitimately voted for a Jewish president. I also explained to you, those worthless publications you brought up as evidence, would declare you a Nazi. They accuse nearly all Republicans as being so.
Yes, I did for a moment wonder. A political murder? What if the displeasure Kimberley had expressed about the Chinese hierarchy had led to something similar to the return displeasures expressed on his enemies by that great friend of China, Czar Putin? I rejected it as too conspiratorial, weak on motivation and lacking in evidence.
Atrial fibrulation from the jab, well, there is that. Could perhaps have been contributory?
I think mean girls is a far better explanatory fit. Leak nails it.
Brava also to Pauline Hanson, in obvious distress, who knew how to be a true friend.
Being as Zachary Rolfe is banned (in writing) from even standing on NT police (or any other emergency service turf) they’ve gotta actually go out into enemy territory to locate him.
Is it a little “muddy”, Dover? Do you want me to clean the mud off?
Johanna, I was sad to read yesterday that Keith Richards has given up smoking after 55 years.
Slippery slope. He’ll start wearing dresses and will likely change his name to Chelsea soon.
The main question: What would it be doing there?
A pretty difficult question to answer with any USSR weapon. The USSR has very few “rare” weapons and they scattered them about the satellites and globe with abandon. Even “sniper” rifles are very common, Soviet distribution of telescoped rifles was effectively down to “designated marksman” level so there was an awful lot of them made, eg. around 50,000 PU snipers made by Ishevsk alone with the satellites also making their own versions into the late 50’s.
Also, 7.62X54R is still a standard Russian calibres and the 91/30 is generally considered to be better than or on par with the rifles designed to replace it.
“We do have the ability to self correct. “
I’m no longer sure. I think that as hard-left progressives now control almost all our institutions, there is no longer any correction mechanism.
As the others have said, it’s a Mosin-Nagant. The sub-model is not a classical M1898, but I cannot recall if the ‘dog-ears’ front sight assembly was a feature of Russian models, or one of the Finnish derivatives.
Just look to the way Dan Andrews has corrupted just about everything.
The mosin was the AK47 of its day – rough but reliable and made by the tens of millions, hence a good many are around to this day, especially, I would think, in Eastern Europe. I fitted a genuine WW2 scope to my well worn 1942 example and its still pretty good out to 500m, or even 750 if you get a sighter or 2 for the wind. It originally cost me $150, including 100 rounds of ammo about 5 years ago, plus about $350 to source and fit the scope.
Is Labor in damage control two days out form the SA election?
The Australian reports that Wong will go to the Kitching funeral, and that Keneally has sacked a staffer for naughtiness in regard to an MP’s alleged hanky-panky.
I doubt it, the Libs are utter toast here.
Piss off, Grigs.
Snort another line of gypsum and find someone else to ‘tard about.

Is it a Spook or not?
“We do have the ability to self correct. “
I’ve had my foot on the brake for a fair while now, and if anything, we seem to be picking up speed!
Hayha used a Finnish version Mosin–Nagant with iron sights.
If it works for you it works.
https://igorchudov.substack.com/p/allegations-of-genetic-harm-to-newborn?s=r
Erk.
Everything is relative. When Putin took over Russia, the place was a real basket case. Infested with mafia running whole regions, resources being raped and sold for almost zero tax collections, endemic police corruption and violence, most of the population living hand to mouth. Their standard of living had plummeted. People were living in real fear of their future, it’s difficult to describe the desperate mood many felt. Putin stabilized the economy and put it onto a growing track. People could at least breathe easier and be hopeful. That’s not to say he’s not a complete thug , a thief and a/hole, he is. But there is in Russia an enduring respect and gratitude for what Putin has done to save Russian from spiraling into absolute violent chaos.
Ukraine eventually will be his end I expect. I don’t think he wants to occupy Ukraine but he wants surety Ukraine will not enter NATO and that the Donbass is part of Russia free of Ukraine brutal attacks. Also the land bridge to Crimea. But it’s only a matter of time until these sanctions cause great ruination in Russia, undoing the progress of the last 30 years sending people back to that fearful state. And he’ll be held responsible for that and that’s he’s undoing.
but I cannot recall if the ‘dog-ears’ front sight assembly was a feature of Russian models, or one of the Finnish derivatives.
The dog eared front sights were on the Finn versions, M39 etc.
With the Empire of Lies not backing down, and Putin backed into a corner, this isn’t looking good.
The media is calling for WW3 and the wicked stupid leaders we have are rushing into it.
It’s not a good time to be in the armed forces.

I’d opt for; Coincidental timing.
The ALP will be scared white that the “Mean Girls” scandal has blown the federal election for them.
They’re acutely conscious of how excellent is the brand name “Mean Girls” hence their initial desperate ploy to steer a name-change, Twitter was alive last night with ALP suckholes from the media running this line, until it dawned on them that in the eyes of the politically disinterested suburban housewife, the key issue was not the “sexism” of saying mean girls, but that Kimberley Kitching had been bullied, perhaps to her death.
Yep, the ALP & their fluffers really are that far out of touch with the normals.
(I’ll tender further evidence of Albanese having his umbrella held & his doors opened, by a female staffer who had arms full of books at the time – they’ve no bluddee idea what the common punter’s problems are)
KD, your immediate reinventing of the meaning of my family history search, turning it into yet another of your fantasies about my existence, is patently dishonest and signal to the sort of unpleasantness I have had to put up with for the many genuine comments I make here that are of interest to some. You could just scroll rather than make a yet another feeble satire as a mode of vicious put-down. It does you no credit.
Similarly, Johanna could just shut up about whether I am here or not. She is picking scabs there.
It is none of her business although my considerable distress here is very much her long-term fault.
I am not surprised she doesn’t recognize a mean girl in action with regard to Kimberley.
They don’t know themselves, these slaughterers of any form of moderation in perspectives.
I saw that in a report a few weeks ago and raised it here.
Very odd.
Is he pulling the same stunt as Holmes a Court? “Oh, we’re not a Political Party. We’re just a loose collection of concerned citizens.”
This might be intended to avoid public scrutiny of donations.
Is he delaying registration until tge last minute for the same reason? Funds could be collected privately by Bosi prior and donated after registration as a single donation from “R Bosi Field Marshall ret’d”
Or does he have no intention of registering and running? If so, the “Donate” button on the A1 site is a bit misleading as most donors would think they are donating to a political campaign.
Whatever the reason, it is not a good look.
Kitching was a grifter, plus she undermined Labor’s leadership by
1. Pushing thru a Magnitsky Act
2. Giving Reynolds a heads up that her colleagues knew about Brittany Higgins and were about to make it an issue.
Five hundred confirmed kills in 105 days..
Erk indeed. Just got a text from a mate relevant to my last. Family he knows the kids are 1 and 2 YO, very much on the jabbing bandwagon. Mum definitely jabbed before giving birth to the 1 YO.
1 YO is now in hospital, with what should have been a minor infection the immune system could fight off. I wonder how many babies have had that same damage because there was no exemption for pregnant mothers, or women who were trying?
This is not something that apologies or mealy mouthed word salads will damp the rage.
Get a grip, Dreddly.
The Empire of Lies hasn’t even stepped up, 21 days later.
Putin’s established a No-Fly Zone, warned other Parties not to become involved, and has control of 170,000 sq. miles of 404.

Nope.
wheres all the dust and concussion – even firing my 7mm in a 3 sided shelter produces a lot more sideblast than that
I’m trying to make sense of the theatre bombing. Trouble is, I so distrust the media that I even wonder that it actually happened.
It’s a post truth world.
You’ve not missing anything. I had a look a couple of times and it was pretty much just abuse being thrown around.
After its disgraceful endorsement of lockdown terrorism and its farcical pivot to net zero which – hilariously – it saw as an electoral gift to Morrison, I didn’t think The Australian could sink any lower.
And then…
It is now publishing daily – even hourly – unverified bullshit from the only source functioning in Ukraine; to wit: the Department of Ukrainian Officials Say (elsewhere known as the CIA).
Bluey that would mean the mother was vaccinated before mid march 2021 at least, if the one year old is 12 months and no more.
The Australian vaccine roll out only started on 22 February 2021 for aged care workers frontline health care and quarantine border workers.
Unless you have the child’s age wrong that seems unlikely.
Plus I don’t think heavily pregnant women were being vaccinated back then.

Perhaps The Poot does want to re establish the Russian Empire. But he’s being a bit greedy, no?
It happened.

What would you call it then, when people aren’t allowed to leave the country?
RT’s version;
Not to be morbid but has there been any evidence of civilian casualties ate the site?
Russia has repeatedly stated that Azov brigades are inhabiting empty apartment and other buildings for spotting and sniping tasks. Which is why the Russians are hitting those particular targets.
I could very well be wrong, going off 2nd hand information. I don’t know anything about the family other than what I’ve been told by my mate, and I have had to pull him up on some more outlandish things.
Having said that, the authorities apparent complete indifference to the potential probably like that disgusts me. Particularly one size fits all mandates.

Gah. I’m making so many typos today. Sorry everyone!
Duk – I don’t know how long the barrel is, but the end of it isn’t in the camera view and he has a serious suppressor attached to it. The sound of each round is barely audible.
The AIF in WW2 started out with 0.55″ Boyes antitank rifles. Quite effective against early armour, but were replaced by 2 pounders in the AT battalions as soon as they became available. That 14.5mm monster is bigger than the Boyes.
Link to where Russia has said that, or you’re lying.
No, the Ukrainians wanted to talk with Russia but they were told by the US that they aren’t allowed to talk with Russia, only the US could negotiate.
Sovereignty is very muddy in the Ukraine. Their elected government was kicked out in a coup some years ago, it is now very much a vassal state run by the US State Department. The neocons and the Washington war machine call the shots, that’s hardly a sovereign nation.
seems like a distant memory

That’d be my guess. Sometimes you just have to carry on tradition.

The only reports I’ve seen are that local authorities could not determine whether or how many civilians were injured or killed due to continued fighting in the area.
For “the West” substitute Anthony Blinken and Barry Obama.
I also agree with you – Victoria rightly is up for the taking for any traditionalist autocrat, closely followed by Queensland and NSW.
I’m guessing people here would not wish for Suharto to actually have invaded.
It’s clear why I mentioned them. In order to show this was generally accepted, even by publications that are now denying it ever was the case and all in for ‘no fly zones’.
Zelensky rode to electoral victory with a lot of support from the eastern provinces because he appeared to be ready for some sort of compromise with Russia. But the influence of the far-right anti-Russian groups brought him back to reality, starting in Zolote.

I have asked this question before.
It looks like he might have retired from a full-time ADF role in the late ’90’s and was a reservist until about 2004.
For someone who is very good at pumping up his own tyres, the detail is very scant.
As you say, there is the book (never made the NYT best-seller list) but there are precious few testimonials on his site from the motivational speaking career.
Oh, and there was the interview with a Defence mag where he said he had attracted investors for a new business venture. Unfortunately “it didn’t work out” but was – wait for it – “a valuable learning experience”.
Interesting. I should remind people that three years ago, when advertisers were succumbing like flies to the Sleeping Midgets campaign targeting Sky News and in particular Andrew Bolt’s programme, all because Bolt on his programme queried/questioned the Pell verdict, one of those boycotters was NIB Health Fund, headed by Joel Fitzgibbon’s brother Mark Fitzgibbon. If you remember, I wrote a letter to NIB and they responded with a feeble milky letter supporting the Midget’s boycott. I sent the letter to Andrew Bolt and he opened his programme with my letter and also Mark Fitzgibbon’s shameful and lame response about Pell and the boycott.
from The Daily Terror..
“Federal Labor MP Joel Fitzgibbon’s son Jack pleads not guilty to sexually touching a woman at Exchange Hotel at Hamilton
Jack Fitzgibbon, 31, is alleged to have exposed himself on a pub’s dance floor and rubbed himself on a woman he had never met before, court hears.
The son of retiring Federal MP Joel Fitzgibbon has denied he exposed himself on the dance floor of a popular Newcastle hotel and rubbed himself on a woman he had never met before.
Jack Fitzgibbon, 31, was not required to attend Newcastle Local Court on Thursday where not guilty pleas were formally entered on one count each of sexually touching a person without their consent and behaving in an offensive manner.
Police allege Fitzgibbon was with another man when they walked onto the dance floor of the popular Exchange Hotel in the early hours of November 7 last year and approached a group of four women they did not know.
Court documents allege Fitzgibbon then approached one of the women and “did expose and rub his penis against the victim without her consent”.
Security was called and Fitzgibbon was allegedly asked to leave the Beaumont Street pub.
An investigation was launched and police later handed him a court attendance notice for the two charges including the sexual touching count which carries a maximum sentence of five years’ jail.
Fitzgibbon was not required to attend court on Thursday when the charges were briefly mentioned in front of a registrar.
The court heard that an email from Fitzgibbon’s defence team asked the court to enter not guilty pleas to both counts.
The brief of evidence is due on April 14 and the matter was adjourned to Newcastle Local Court on May 5.
Jack Fitzgibbon is the son of Labor’s Member for Hunter and former defence minister Joel Fitzgibbon, who announced in September that he would retire from politics at the next election after more than 25 years in parliament.

This psychopath needs to hang asap… US military. Please take him down. Our military is piss weak.
Who told you this? Why do you believe it? Even if the US said so, did they listen?
If that’s true, why have they had (albeit stillborn) negotiations that a week or so prior, looked like hostilities may have ceased?
No.
Putin believes it isn’t a country.
Zelensky is leading a shocking upset of military resistance.
Who told you this? Where is your evidence? What about Yanukovych? Do you think his Parliamentary votes and referenda were rigged or not? If you think nefarious external entities engineered a revolution, ask yourself if you think a revolution can happen without any popular support?
Sure, the Bolsheviks won an easy coup – but they won the following Russian Civil War. Because they have mass support at the grassroots.
Look at the electoral map for Zelensky’s run off vote. He wasn’t the puppet candidate. If there was a puppet, it was more likely Poroshenko; Zelensky as DB asserts was conciliatory to Donbas.
Either it’s not true or the US State Department is playing 5D chess.

As for exposure, if women were prosecuted for exposure, just look at swimsuits now compared to five years ago.

That is neither conservative nor libertarian. It reminds me far too much of leftist bullying and I have definitely had enough of that to last me for my lifetime. In response to JC’s point about self correction, it seemed to many, including myself, that the Trump presidency was that correction. That has now been undone by cheating, lying, theft and violence. In fact the actions of the American establishment convince me that the US is now no better than the USSR was under Brezhnev and definitely no better the Putin’s Russia.

Even up to 1944 the 14.5mm was effective against the MkIV German tank if you could get the hull side behind the bogeys. The addition of schurzen was to protect the driver behind the 30mm lower hull plating. That it was effective against the hollow charge weapons was just icing on the cake.

Researchers will be knocking on the doors of about 250 households throughout Perth this weekend in a pilot study to find undetected COVID-19 cases.
Random households will be asked to take a saliva-based test, called a LAMP test, which researchers say is more accurate at detecting COVID than rapid antigen tests.
Curtin University and Telethon Kids Institute researcher Nick Golding said the new test could help detect asymptomatic infections.

As I said yesterday or day before I got Joel’s latest mailout this week with 32 photos of Joel in it. It’s a glossy A3 folded in half printed both sides. A serious concentration of Joels per square inch. I still have his Christmas card: it has 14 photos of Joel on it. Methinks there might be an ego issue in that family.

The Russians were very surprised at how effective the 14.5 was when the Germans invaded. There were some tanks it wasn’t effective against, but there was an awful lot that it was. They were so excited they basically developed two rifles for the round in a month and then put them both into production.

Between lockdowns, pre-mandatory jabs, I was introduced to a relative newcomer in my field as, an “icon”, but in the new covid rules world, as an unjabbed, I’ve since been locked out of what earned me that status.
I had every pressure, family, financial, business & social to get jabbed & continue do what I do, so yes, it’s cost me dearly in all ways to stay unjabbed but still I’m only one of the countless who the arrogant jab pushers continue to ruthlessly mock.
Still, there is a plus to that, in that it’s good to know the genuinely simple & deceived from the ever so clever, cold, calculating mercenaries.

Has there been further developments?
Seconded. I agree he wants to recreate Imperial Russia rather than the Soviet Union, although I cited the 1922 merger of Russia, Belorussia and Ukraine earlier. That was more because he seems very romantic, and I think the centenary would be quite important to him. He’s fostering Orthodox Christianity, which is in keeping with Tsarist Russia not the CCCP. A good strategy which has done a lot under the radar to stabilize Russia.
Unfortunately he has now had a brain explosion. It’s really sad. As I corresponded with Winston on the OT a while ago it seems to be “old man in a hurry syndrome”. Which occurs when you have a supreme leader model and weak governmental systems underlying the leader. Very like the decline and fall of the Roman Empire where the Emperor was all powerful but endlessly brittle and vulnerable.

There is nothing wrong with declaring overreach by the people in charge and seeking to hold them accountable.
But since it has somehow morphed into a hyperbolic “All governments are bad and malevolent and are out to destroy me because I’ve been personally impacted by their mistakes in a way I’ve never been impacted before,” seeking accountability and good governance (as good as you’ll ever get out of fallen and sinful human beings, anyway) has been knocked aside in the name of venting spleens and ever-louder demands for power in order to exact petty vengeance.

On Credlin tonight Gideon Rozner said that he’d been contacted by Victorian Liberals to help campaign at the forthcoming election. He said he won’t be doing it…it’ll be the first time since he was sixteen that hasn’t helped the Liberal party at an election.
Yesterday I received a text from Sharma’s office asking if I’d help campaign in Wentworth. Yeah, really deadly and hard to detect at night. It uses a missile similar to a Paladin in size. Between four and 14 carried as I recall. Has swatted many AA tracks especially north of Kiev. About a month ago CHO Qld said he thought 1/3 Qld probably had had Covid. That was about 3 X the official number at that time. An inconvenient truth as it means hospitalisation, ICU and death rates even less than published statistics telling us. Good luck finding a journalist pointing that out.
In my extended family (23 in 7 homes) definitely over 50% have had it and all with minor symptoms with some not knowing until tested.

The Tsars fostered Orthodoxy but they also kept it subservient to the state.
