Hunter Laptop Computer Repairman Says No Way 450 Gigs of Additional Data Was Included on Hunter’s Laptop…UPDATE
Repairbloke says 500Gb HD, means 450 Gb doesn’t fit. If 300Gb was already on it, someone is telling porkies.
OK – what was the actual size of the HD and did he only have one partition on it? Or was there a 1 Tb drive with a secondary partition on it?
That doesn’t seem like a mistake a bloke experienced in this field would get wrong.

From “The Age.”

Greens expecting to hold balance of power
Rachel Eddie
By Rachel Eddie
April 10, 2022 — 4.54pm

Greens leader Adam Bandt has declared his hopes that Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese will need his help to form a minority government, believing a power-sharing deal is the most likely outcome of the May 21 election.

Speaking in Melbourne on Sunday after Prime Minister Scott Morrison called the election, Mr Bandt said he believed both major parties would struggle to form government in their own right.

The Greens leader was confident of holding the balance of power if that played out — as it did under then prime minister Julia Gillard following the 2010 election — even though the party holds just one lower house seat in the federal Parliament, Mr Bandt’s, in the electorate of Melbourne.

The Greens polled 10.2 per cent in the 2019 election.

The Coalition or Labor will need to secure more than half of the 151 lower house seats to form government, or negotiate with crossbenchers such as the Greens if neither party secures a majority in their own right.

“There’s every chance that Scott Morrison will lose majority government,” Mr Bandt said.

“Kicking Scott Morrison out of majority government is going to be very doable, but for the opposition to win in their own right, they’re going to need a swing that they’ve only got once in the last 20 years. So, it’s a very likely outcome that we would be a power-sharing Parliament, and that’s certainly going to be the case in the Senate.”

Mr Bandt said the Greens were polling well in 10 seats around the country and “neck and neck” in five. The Greens are targeting Labor seats Macnamara in Melbourne, Griffith in Brisbane and Richmond in NSW, and the Liberal-held Queensland seats Brisbane and Ryan.

The party hopes to pick up three extra Senate seats – in Queensland, NSW and South Australia – to increase its representation from nine to 12 in the upper house.

Mr Bandt again ruled out negotiating with Mr Morrison when asked if he could work with either leader.

“The answer to that is no,” he said. “Scott Morrison needs to go. In a power-sharing Parliament, we will kick the Liberals out.”

He was joined by Greens senator Lidia Thorpe, Senator Janet Rice, Macnamara candidate Steph Hodgins-May and Kooyong candidate Piers Mitchem on Sunday to launch a campaign focused on climate change, housing affordability, and the cost of living.

The Greens hope to expand Medicare to cover dental and mental health, wipe student HELP debts, to phase out fossil fuels, and develop a Treaty.

Withering glance. “Sir, dead-naming Gamilroi country is now considered a hate-crime. I’m cancelling your entry permit, and sending you back to… [checks notes] … Bharata.”

JC I don’t waste photoreceptors so didn’t see who wrote what you quoted but they are lying, haven’t looked, and too stupid to know how to look. The data is rather interesting for people like me because it highlights how often there are subtle pathologies at work within in us. In this instance the rate of cardiac hypertrophy is high for SCA in athletes. That’s odd, they claim it is probably genetic. However bodybuilders die at very high rates of heart failure which can have a hypertrophy component and they do love their drugs. Another interesting aspect is mostly young men and basket ball players are over represented.

I’m not going to crunch the numbers but my intuition is that there has been an increase in incidence over the past two years. Of course many here will already know the cause of that. Others might wait to see some actual data on the subject.

More young footballers dying of heart problems than thought, FA study finds

The occasional such tragedy among football players led the FA in 1997 to set up the screening programme. The tests are part of a fitness assessment that is mandatory for all academy soccer players aged 16 or 17 before they sign a professional contract. The programme now has 20 years of comprehensive data.

The review of this data was led by Sanjay Sharma, professor of inherited diseases and sports cardiology at St George’s University of London and chair of the expert cardiac committee of the Football Association. He and his team, who have published their results in the New England Journal of Medicine, found a death rate of one in 14,700 people – considerably higher than the previous estimates of one in 50,000 or one in 200,000, said Sharma.

Dated August 2018.
One thing is for certain, Professor Sharma was laying burley well ahead of the Covid release and is clearly in the bag for Big Pharma.

staff didn’t care. not even the slightest hint of caring.

I’ve found that attitude has been almost across-the-board, including every building, restaurant, cafe I’ve been near for about 6 months.

The buildings we work in are interesting. We do an online induction every time we enter or leave and yeah the multiple-choice asks if you’ve have none, one, or two vaccines
but it is an honour system
nobody checks
no database where your private details are lodged
nothing

the Hot Health hotels were pretty full-on and you know what, while they were operating like that I simply refused to go. fuck Health and Justice
and now that they’ve gone … guess who’s back
yeh, we are … one customer who happens to be a international hotel chain agrees … fuck ’em

to be honest for the most part, I reckon I could have simply avoided the vax and lied
nothing would be very much different to the way it is now.

for me, there have been 3 occasions where the tick was required.

1. Deniliquin late December. Rocked up with the MiL and FiL after a while sitting at the table the owner shouts from the bar about The Tick. My missus holds he phone up and I gave a thumbs up. Nobody actually checked

2. South Melbourne, in late Feb this year. Took a client out and the waitress was 110%
wanted to actually see the result of check-in and because I dont have the check-in linked to the tick, I had to find the vax cert and show her. The weirdo actually read it.

3. Site induction last week. I had to copy the certificate to their database

No, the original point was about the unholy eagerness of going along with the empty promise beginning with one super jab, the promise underpinned by any number of variations upon a theme for agreeing to comply. But understand this, I also think that the other side of the coin is to ensure that people remain uneasy even fearful of the vaccine itself not because the vaccine is in fact safe – to the contrary – but because it’s good to keep the population on edge such that the insanity of ensuring that the vaccines are worryingly ineffective means that boosters upon boosters are necessary. Yet if I were to be vaccinated, I would not allow the shit to worry me. Ps 91.

Bang on. One hundred per cent. Firmly in that category. Absolutely full-on anti-mandate. Been to the protests and am quite vocal on the subject outside of this august journal of record.

But I am not prepared to be yelled at and called a traitor, scum and a cocksmoker by an individual on the other side of the country for not going along with every single thing he has to say, and who believes I personally am responsible for whatever day to day predicament he finds himself in.

Secondly, when in your life have you watched a footy match or soccer or tennis where they just fell over dead, while every one said, well that’s unlucky, but it happens often, remember last year when McEnroe spat the dummy at the umpire, and fell down dead…..
Get a grip, and have a close look at the numbers…were they elite athletes, and then they actually tell you that back in the day when smokers and drinkers took to sudden bursts of exercise they dropped and so they actually say in those sports, they are screened and tested.
But elite athletes are dropping like flies.
Screen and tested ones.

The data is probably available. SCA for athletes is closely tracked. The analyses of year by year data can lag by quite a few years. For eg. an study on sports related SCA might only refer to data from 3 years prior to publication date. Another aspect is it can take months for something to go from submission to publication so that study might already be in the pipeline. I’m very wary of the tendency to think that there is some huge biomed cabal out there hiding the truth from us. I know that bias is often in play but I struggle to believe that doctors, nurses, and scientists, most of whom have children who play sports, are covering up an explosion of SCAs on the sporting field. There does seem to be a pick up in incidence and given the established link between some vaxxes and myocarditis the incidence for 2019+ should be tracked down and fast. Sports related SCA events are very low. If there is a vax linkage it will stand out in a big way.

People dying in all age groups is not rare, you incompetent. It’s certainly low at younger age groups but it’s not “rare as to be non existent”.

Young people dying on the sporting field of other than external injuries was not unheard of, but very, very rare. Perhaps one or two a year of something like an undiagnosed aneurism or genetic disorder. If I remember correctly, it was generally among young, amateur sports people, not the highly trained professional ones and it was always a tremendous shock. Can you say the same today?

There was one which made a huge impression on me, and he was actually professional. Sergei Grinkov, the husband and pairs skating partner of Ekaterina Gordeeva (with whom he had won 2 Olympic gold medals and multiple World Championships) dropped dead in November 1995 at the age of 28 from a heart attack. It made news around the world. There were heart problems in the family and his father had also died of a heart attack, although not that young. They were truly wonderful skaters. There are plenty of clips of them on YouTube. My point is that it was anything but the everyday thing we are seeing now.

Stuth, you’re so fucking stupid, you’re so fucking dense, you’re so incredibly thick that the link you indirectly offered with OneAmerica’s CEO is suggesting the opposite of what you thought he was saying.

You really need to be on DSP for being a complete redneck moron. Apply for The Moron Disability Pension.

Here’s the vid of the OneAmerica CEO, you gullible twat.

Sal, not even a mention of Greg Normal let alone a hat tip to him.

The funniest thing wouldn’t have been Hockey scrabbling to make connection with Trump*.
It would be back in Canberra when they were trying to explain to Trumble** who Greg Norman was.

* How fucking embarrassingly amateurish. Our major ally. A two horse Presidential race and we don’t have contacts with both parties. We have a truckload of ‘liaison’ staff in DC but we have to use a retired golfer to contact the winner. And Trumble is making a “melancholy duty” statement advising us not to panic about Trump. FMD.
** How good was that? Trump’s press guy “accidentally” mistaking Lord Waffleworth’s name and calling him “Aussie PM Michael Trumble”. Fuck, that had to hurt.

How good would it be if ScoMo had said, “Seeing as how you’ve got all SHOUTY on National TV, how about we expedite a review and we agree to release the results publicly?”.

Vaccines have killed 11 people in this country according to the TGA.
That figure has been stuck at 11 for months now. Which is a mystery to me, what changed? Because thousands of doses are still being administered daily.
Given that the hope of herd immunity has collapsed in the face of
Omicron, I do not understand why so many people are dosing their children.
Those big public city marathons will be one thing to watch with interest over the next year or so.
All mandates need to end immediately.

This morning I saw an analysis on Insiders that stated there is typically a 2-3% polling bias towards Labor. So on the above figure it is neck and neck.

Young people dying on the sporting field of other than external injuries was not unheard of

If Phil Hughes, the Australian opening batsman had been struck and killed today in the same manner as he had been in 2014, there are people in this country that would scream long and loud that the vax was responsible, rather than the pill smacking into the vertical artery running under and just behind the ear on that one-in-a-million angle that shattered it.

I do NOT believe that the vaccines are harmless to everyone. However:

I find it disturbing that there is the same fervour amongst some to find vaccines responsible for any death under any circumstances, as was found in ‘the other team’ that hoped and prayed and advocated that covid was responsible for every death since the start of 2020.

Percisely.
I reckon his plan was:-
.1 publicly corner ScoMo and panic him;
.2 cause a flurry of late night phone calls among the Higher Ups in the Department;
.3 tell them he is going on Ray Hadlee the next morning;
.4 Ker-ching! at 9:00 next morning.

Another ‘spooky’ sporting example.
Over the history of the Melbourne Football Club, approximately 1300 players have pulled on their jumper.
Two players of that 1300 were recruited directly to Melbourne FC from Gaelic football in Ireland – Jim Stynes and Sean Wight.
Both died of cancer in their forties. Styne at 45 and Wight at 47.
What can we conclude from this sad statistic?
Precisely nothing.
