We got an email from a friend in Idaho, today. They are getting huge influxes of folk moving to their state and their town. Their church has grown by 25% plus in the last few months. It has stood firm against the lockdown and mask measures there, and people are keen to join with others who are fighting back.

Here, in Australia, all the states are singing from the same song sheet and there seems to be nowhere to go and such a minority who want to resist our new feudal technocratic masters. Serfs up, Australia.

Here’s a good protest in for Victorians.
Uber eats roast chickens to your local cop shop.
Nothing illegal about it.
You’d be supporting the local chicken shop, the uber eats rider too.
Pretty sure the Planet Cornelius types on the force would love a nice roast chicken.
If they get a dozen or so showing up, the penny might drop.

Best thing about stupid lockdown is the sight of a Dad, son & Uncle playing kick to kick out on the road, with only the very rare call of, “Car!”, just like when we were kids.

Viet DiL delights in the sight of the kid being lovingly taught all sorts of skills including how to make a small stand for important things without being an a’hole about it.

It’s interesting how many younger people suddenly want to hear about what was so great about ‘the good old days’.
You can see them craving something good that they know should exist and should be accessible, something that goes against all the brainwashing of their schools and media and so, making them turn to the oldies to articulate it for them.

I’ve just returned from a quick walk with a friend. I told her that I’ll never vote Liberal again and she said but Cassie…..Labor is worse……and I said….yes but I can no longer follow that line of simply voting Liberal because they aren’t Labor. No…the Liberal party makes me physically sick.

I’ll vote Lib Dem in the senate…but Arky at 1.21pm. this afternoon is 100% correct and this also relates to the thread I uploaded “Time we faced the future”…..we need to separate ourselves and build resilient communities and structures apart from the progressive mainstream. History is replete with similar examples and we need to start soon.

So they’re firing rubber bullets into protesters in Melbourne……..Australia is finished.

Misery Loves Company, should be the true title of all these nouvo Catallaxy blogs. You can’t be made happy because you cling to conspiracy laden, cultish nonsense, such as climate change denial, that SSM has been a disaster, that COVID is not a real serious problem, that Trump won the election in a vast conspiracy that (mysteriously) can’t be proved (but it’s really there!) And more. Many just put it into all purpose Grand Unified Theory of Evil Leftism.
Granted, there is some minor dissent amongst you about the degree to which these are correct statements, but most of you subscribe to most of them.

It’s why you are unhappy that there is no political voice for you. Because you’re self marginalised cranks. Any valid modern culture critiques you do have, such as the excesses of identity politics, doesn’t get a hearing because the other nonsense baggage you carry around with you. You’re like Graeme Birds without the antisemitism. Politicians don’t want to take you seriously because the conspiracy baggage you carry indicates you have no good judgement at all.

The only hope is to have the humility to realise you’re the ones who have been conned, and talked yourselves into the corner of irrelevance. Rejoin the mainstream. Stop thinking it’s all a vast evil Leftist plot and recognise that Murdoch and a host of other Right wing figures make a good but immoral buck out of pandering to you, the ageing cohort of people who think change is always bad and that you’re the victims who see the Truth.

I offer this advice sincerely. It will fall on deaf ears, but I can’t see how it will ever change if no one tells you bluntly.

I have made this message several times before. But you are endlessly repetitive in your complaints, so the cure should be allowed to be repeated too.

A report published in BMJ Open in 2017 found that of 1984 people who had been shot with “kinetic impact projectiles” – a class of “less lethal” ammunition that includes rubber bullets – 53 had died.

A further 300 were permanently disabled, and overall, 71 per cent of the survivors had serious injuries.

In turn:

AGW is a disproven science theory but continues as a cult and tool of commies and spivs supported by virtue signalling idiots like shit for brains.

SSM has been a disaster because as predicted it led directly to other abominations like gender diversity, BLM, CRT, men in female sports and change rooms and a general undermining of Western tenets.

The chunk virus is real and either a bio-weapon to undermine the West or a money making venture to make big pharma even richer; both of which have occurred.

Sauce, goose and gander are the relevant terms I think.

Perhaps. But it’s the hypocrisy more than anything that I absolutely detest. It’s the sole reason I “dobbed” the cheese people in.

There is more than one way to “protest”. You need to hold these people to their own standards, and to make the leftards inflict equal pain on their own constituencies.

Think of “Obama’s Big Birthday Bash”, and the countless images of US Democrat politicians “wining and dining” without a mask, or heading off on overseas holidays. One rule for me, one rule for thee.

To “wake up” the population, you need to let them see just how fucked up the system is. You do that by exposing them to equal retribution of the law.

All the sheep cheering on these obscene restrictions believe they are exempt. The quicker they realise they aren’t, the better.

There is more than one way to win the war.

Australia Offers Immediate Asylum To All Au Pairs Trapped In Afghanistan

Saying it was a humanitarian crisis that demanded the nation’s urgent attention, Immigration Minister Peter Dutton has confirmed Australia will do whatever it can to rescue and relocate any full-time nannies currently working in Kabul.

“When you look at those pictures coming out of Kabul, your mind goes straight to ‘are there any carers who could provide quality in-home services to my friends’ kids?’,” Mr Dutton said.

“The desperation I’m seeing on faces is real. Do you know how hard it is to get a decent full-time au pair these days?”

The offer means that Australia may need to increase its refugee intake by as much as four or five. “That’s the kind of nation we are though. We do what we have to do to help,” Dutton said.

To facilitate the airlift, Australia will send five RAAF cargo planes to enable enough space for each of the five au pairs.

r highest assurance of the goodness of Providence seems to rest in the flowers. All other things, our powers, our desires, our food, are really necessary for our existence. But a rose, a beautiful rose, is an extra. Its smell, its colour are an embellishment of life, not a condition of it. It is only goodness that gives extras, and so I say we have much to hope from the flowers.

There’s a more prosaic explanation.

We share genes with insects, and are attracted to the sexual organs of plants in consequence.

Then we see One Track Steve of Brissie come plodding around on her thread contaminating it with his usual ponderous leftist dribble as well as some dubious underhand sleazey snark, a trademark that is inimitably his own.

How about “the Police Minister says he is preventing lockdowns by arresting anti-lockdown protesters demanding freedom”? That was a ripper in the vein of you-can’t-fight-in-here-it’s-the War-Room.

Over 200 infringement notices, 47 arrests amid Sydney anti-lockdown protesters (21 Aug)

Police Minister David Elliott says an “exemplary” police operation responding to anti-lockdown protest plans on Saturday prevented further lockdowns and enacted swift justice on rulebreakers.

“The police today in my mind were the blue angels that protect this city against further lockdowns,” he told press during an afternoon media conference.

NSW Police officers issued 200 infringement notices to a crowd of around 250 protesters who gathered in the CBD despite exclusion zones, barricades and law enforcement checkpoints.

A total of 47 people were arrested at Sydney’s freedom protest after NSW Police launched a major operation to prevent a repeat performance of the July 24 anti-lockdown antics.

“Blue angels” eh? Could of fooled me, I thought they were jackbooted fascists.

One observation I made from the various links above to the Melbourne protests, was that the police seemed to be liberally using their capsicum spray even when individuals stepped forward to mouth off and froth a bit. Such individuals are generally not an immediate threat, so why is the weapon being discharged for what seems a harassing rather than subduing role?

Granted, my view of the crowd was limited, but many of them seemed dressed like they were going to the footy (unlike the geared up – helmeted, improvised shield, baseball bats etc – antefa (they don’t deserve to be capitalised) in the U.S.); surely they are a minimal threat to the police, the front lines of whom have shields, batons, knee pads etc?

My wandering point here is that the use of the sprays appeared to be disproportionate to the immediate threat level.

It seemed harassing because it was.
Everything the police did was to try to set off violent riots, including putting their own people in amongst the people to kick things off.

Just like the reporting, ‘while some of the crowd were peaceful, most were violent.’, (the actual verbatim quote was even worse), mixed with the finely cut images of some people getting miffed with the extreme violence the police unleashed on what were peaceful people.

I was actually amazed at how the protesters were at not taking the poisonous bait of the police.

They are not rubber bullets. The weapon in the photos does not fire rubber bullets.

They are pellets, similar to paintballs that are filled with OC spray. When they hit you it stings, the pellet bursts and you get a little cloud of OC spray around you and the person or two next to you. They use it because it has a longer range than the spray or the foam.

P.S. In NO WAY am I backing or justifying VicJack Inc.

Thunderbolt was actually a good mate of my great grandfather (my mother’s side). He used to come to the dances at his Inn near Uralla. It was actually my grandfathers horse he “stole” when the plod approached. The plod chased him down and shot him (not the horse) at Paradise Creek.

Anyway, the plod brought the body back to the Inn and gutted him on the verandah ready for transport to Sydney (for identification). My great grandmother buried his gizzards in a hole out the back of the Inn and planted a rose bush on top.

I’m not sure what the moral of the story is. We got the horse the back, and the plod were none the wiser. Great Grandfather probably didn’t have to buy his missus flowers on Anniversary events. She could go out the back and cut her own.

Life’s a mystery. Shit just happens.

Arizona Dems Panic Over Upcoming Election Audit Results, Issue Preemptive Rebuttal (20 Aug)

Democratic officials in Arizona are sweating over the upcoming results of the 2020 election audit, and have launched a pair of preemptive strikes against a report that could come as soon as next week according to Politico.

In a Thursday rebuttal, Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D) tried to poke as many holes as possible in the audit – while also trying to reassure people that ballot equipment was tested before and after the election.

Hobbs called the GOP Senate-led effort “secretive and disorganized,” and claimed that they routinely failed to follow best practices for an audit.

Whenever I see this sort of thing I think yep, the audit has hit paydirt. The Dems are actually telegraphing to everyone in America that they’re dirty as, and are acting just like the kid with chocolate cake smeared over all the walls and themselves saying ‘weren’t me mum’.

The great news is that the todays footage of the plod:
1) firing whatever they did in the Melbourne crowd;
2) goading the Melbourne crowd “come on you pussies” copper is gunna regret that;
3) choking out a punter in NSW,
Have all gone viral.
I can not the believe the pin dick VicPol copper screaming “come on you pussies” from behind the riot squad.
Nothing will happen to him though.
Just like nothing happened to the copper who stomped that guys head last year.

Would you be worried?

Of course I’d be worried sfw, if I didn’t know what it was. Or even if I did.

My point is, they were referred to as rubber bullets when they are clearly two very different things with vastly differing connotations. No it does not make pepper balls right.

In the heat of it all they might have been black broomsticks.
Who knows?
They looked like AK16s to me.

Go have a look at how violent the police were in Melbourne.

Rubber bullets and they even pepper-sprayed a 13 year old boy.

Welcome to the NEW WORLD ORDER. At least Victorians managed to gather. In NSW they brutally arrested anyone who tried to make their way to the city.
This is tyranny. Period.

There is more than one way to fight a war.

Politicians are only as good as their staffers. These are the people who are really in control. And their financial backers. Look to the East.

Or so the health experts are now saying.

Mass vax experiments on our kids? I think not.

You know, a lot of people are freaking out because of the Biblical ‘Mark’ stuff about not buying or selling without it. They fear isolation & starvation, but I’ve seen the cruel agony of Vaccination damage and I’ve suffered the horror of neuralgia when nothing made the unbearable pain go away, and along with people now simply accepting that it’s normal for China to go through it’s prisoner records & ‘harvest’ the matching organs people around the world want to buy, now!, the Biblical warning that haunts me is when people want to die, but can’t –

Revelation 9:6, KJV: “And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.”

??? “Cultist”.
The recommendation was a quote from the site that posted the links you missed.
I agreed that he’s worth a follow because he does straight, well spoken, non-shouty, non-culty reporting. A refreshing change from all “flash”, shouty, culty, ‘reporters’ flooding social media.

It’s also why I like Carl Benjamin. He speaks clearly & well and not only keeps his cool when covering some pretty horrible topics but has a way of keeping attention on hard subjects most like to turn away from and he doesn’t leave you feeling like you’ll blow a fuse but rather, strengthens resolve to make things better, and keep laughing.

They both most certainly beat the, ‘This is how it is, believe me or shut up & piss off!’, bitter scolds all over the place who insist they’re ‘impartial’ about what they deliver, when they’re clearly not. Much better when people tell you straight out which way they lean so you can do your own balance adjustments.

Yeah, I suspect they found that Antifa and Sullivan did all the coordination of the violent bit, such as it was, therefore they had to find there was no coordination. Can’t have the proles know the truth now can we?

As many have pointed out, it’s a hostage situation.
And the Taliban hold all the cards.
Imagine having Bagram still fully operational at this time.
