No, if people are being coerced to take A in order to work or participate in society their bodily autonomy is being infringed. Whether or not that is justified by appeals to public health is what is actually being contended. Further, as has already been contended, the vax didn’t effectively mitigate transmission, appealing to no “right to endanger others” is premature and thus question-begging. This is all the more true when there were existing measures like social distancing, masking, available to those that worked through the pandemic while others stayed home that constituted an available measure short of furloughing workers that declined being vaccinated.

No one was being coerced to do anything. Everyone retained the choice, albeit with consequences if they chose selfishly to endanger others.

The vax did and does mitigate transmission. This has been proven over and over again, please don’t play the stupid game of playing dumb about it. It didn’t mitigate it down to zero percent, a fact which you deliberately misuse to make a logically invalid point.

Moreover, who are you actually protecting? If the vax was effective at either preventing infection or severity of disease once infected, the only segment of the population you could be protecting is the unvaccinated who had themselves accepted the risk involved by not vaccinating. So, there is no ‘fundamental flaw’ in this reasoning, nor have you demonstrated any between comparing the application of the principle re vax v abortion.

Incorrect at the time we are talking about, which is during the vax rollout when supply was limited and not everyone who wanted to get jabbed could book a jab. Which you well know, but you are choosing to ignore to make a facetiously wrong point, because you have no real argument.

You are just playing semantics. It’s not coercion, it’s a choice? You cannot be serious. The choice is keep your current job or go on the bread line.

If you feel concerned around me as I am only double vaxxed, you can take the fifth jab and double mask yourself. Losing some weight would help, too.

Using your logic, no one is forcing women to not have an abortion (or forcing doctors not to perform them), it’s just that there are consequences. Goal potentially being one of them. If I have complete autonomy to choose regarding vaccination, so to do they when it comes to abortion. Moreover, what’s the difference in being locked out of society for not having a vaccine, which supposedly endangers society, and being locked away from society for killing someone’s potential to even exist?

Mater, this is why I normally ignore you. Equating a long gaol sentence for murder with getting stood down temporarily from one job is utterly ridiculous by you. You are a clown.

Speaking of comparing apples and oranges, your standpoint mandates a physical intrusion into my body. Banning abortions just limits what you can do to your own (even if you wish to ignore the rights of the foetus). Restrictions on abortion is more akin to the restriction on our use of ivermectin. Vaccine mandates are infinitely worse.

Complete nonsense. Doesn’t even make sense internally. Everything you said is dead wrong.

The real scam is that the Dems have slurred Russia.

Here’s the thing. If the Russians and China would ever split, the Dems are already allies with China.

They have spurred Russia to take the heat off China.

China is involved with FTX, China is through cyber warfare responsible for data dump type voter fraud (the Republicans likely really won the Senate and close governorships this time too), China has ruined their air and water (hence why they now crave an external empire) and have the most to gain (other than India) if the west deindustrialises over fraudulent climate change (remember the EAU climate fraud emails???).

China is even possibly covertly backing Ukraine against Russia to make Russia their client state.

It was during my first deployment to Iraq, in 2003, that I first woke up to the fact that most of the wars of the west, at least since Vietnam, have been concocted to financially benefit the military industrial complex at home. I took the regular RPT run around Baghdad in a Blackhawk. We stopped at half a dozen intermediate bases before lobbing at my duty station, the USAF Hospital in Balad. Each intermediate stop point touched down at a base with at least 50 helicopters on it – all multimillion dollar machines, and with ‘running costs’ in the multiples of that*.

It was then I realised what Assange later also observed: the purpose of the War Machine is to wage war, NOT to win it. Our experience in Iraq and Afghanistan bore this out – Billions if not Trillions spent, nothing gained. Note also how, after milking the Afghan war for 20 years, with nothing to show for it, they almost immediately replaced it with the next opportunity to sell weapons (Ukraine).

* Helicopters are very expensive to buy and operate, even civilian helos. In SA, for example, it is a State Level Decision just to add one to the EMS contract (SA has 3). To put this in perspective, the US lost over 5000 helicopters in Vietnam.

All leftist parties and large portions of so-called CONservative parties now look to the CCP model to learn how to surveil, intimidate, coerce, censor, brainwash, brutalise, punish and generally oppress their populations.

Of course people were being coerced. They were told that if they did not take the vax they would lose their ability to work or participate in society.

That is just not true at all. They were excluded from specific jobs and spaces in which they could be a danger to others. Everywhere else, they were fine.

Whining with obviously and patently wrong takes like anti-vaxxers can’t “participate in society” removes all credibility from your argument.

It did preciously little in reducing transmission which is why rates flew through the roof when lockdowns ended even with 90%+ rates of vaccination. If you were going to make a reasonable argument that it sufficiently did reduce rates of transmission such that it did justify coercive measures like mandatory vaccination you would admit the latter and then consider the former. But you don’t, you want to deny that it isn’t coercive but then that it is justified by its efficacy.

Anti-vaxxers here and elsewhere have been screaming about death rates since lockdowns were lifted and blaming the vax… instead of blaming the virus, which is the actual culprit. No, people aren’t dying in large numbers from vax reactions… they’re dying of breakthrough COVID. You babbling idiots.

The concept of breakthrough COVID has broken your minds. You can’t conceive of the idea of a vaccine that partially mitigates rather than fully prevents. You want it to be like the polio vaccine, but it just isn’t.

I usually don’t engage with anti-vaxxers on here any more because it’s wilful ignorance and bad faith turtles all the way down, impervious to reason and long since cut off from reality. I think I might return to that position.

Peace-Mongering, Ukraine style
News Reports and Analysis
Daily Mail, 30th November, 2021
The Daily Mail reported that three gatherings of some Downing Street staff had taken place during November and December of 2020. This was the lifting of the lid on the cesspool of cynicism that characterised the political response to Covid-19 all over the Western world, with the notable exception of Sweden.
In January and February of 2022, the lid was completely unseated. Up to twenty events involving Government staffers, most frequently Downing Street staffers, were investigated. These included two parties in Downing Street on the eve of the funeral of Prince Philip.

Russian commences “Special Military Operation” in Ukraine.
The White House 16th March, 2022
President Biden today announced an additional $800 million in security assistance to Ukraine, bringing the total U.S. security assistance committed to Ukraine to $1 billion in just the past week, and a total of $2 billion since the start of the Biden Administration.
Wall Street Journal, 31st March, 2022.
President Erdo?an announces that Turkey has hosted two rounds of Russian-Ukrainian peace talks. These talks had progressed to the point that Erdo?an offered to host a meeting between the two leaders. “Western officials have been hesitant to endorse Ukraine’s proposal to have its security guaranteed by outside powers…”
NPR 2nd April, 2022
“…around Kyiv and in northern Ukraine, Russian forces are withdrawing. …we don’t know yet where these Russian troops are going to be redirected to. The Pentagon says they aren’t going home…
“…there is an attack on a fuel depot in the Russian city of Belgorod, which is near the Ukrainian border.
“Russia has said that the attacks came from low-flying Ukrainian helicopters, but Ukraine’s top security officials deny it. … And Russia has said that this attack could also impact peace talks, which are ongoing.” [my emphasis]

BBC 9th April, 2022
‘Prime Minister Boris Johnson has held talks in Kyiv with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky. No 10 said the visit was a “show of solidarity” with the Ukrainian people. Following the meeting, Downing Street said the UK would send 120 armoured vehicles and anti-ship missile systems to support Ukraine…
‘Mr Johnson paid tribute to “President Zelensky’s resolute leadership and the invincible heroism and courage of the Ukrainian people”, saying: “Ukraine has defied the odds and pushed back Russian forces from the gates of Kyiv“…[my emphasis] Speaking…alongside President Zelensky…Mr Johnson said Ukrainians “have shown the courage of a lion but you, Volodymyr, have given the roar of that lion”…
‘Mr Johnson’s visit to Kyiv came the day after the UK announced £100m of weapons for the country.’

New York Times 14th April, 2022
Biden Announces $800 Million in Military Assistance for Ukraine.
U.S. Department of Defense 21st April, 2022
President Joe Biden announced today that the United States will send another $800 million in equipment to help Ukraine defend itself against Russia’s two-month-long invasion. Today’s announcement comes on the heels of an $800 million military aid package the president signed last week.

Boris Johnson announces his intention to resign when the Conservative Party has selected a new leader.
6th September, 2022
Boris Johnson resigns the Prime Ministership.
New York Post 4th October, 2022
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky seemingly shut the door on the prospect of having any peace talks with Vladimir Putin — but not with Russia under a different leadership. Zelensky signed a decree on Tuesday formally declaring negotiations with the Kremlin autocrat to be “impossible.”
Vladimir Putin Astana press conference 14th October, 2022
“But we are also aware of Kiev’s position – they kept saying they wanted talks, and even sort of asked for them, but have now passed an official decision that bans such talks. Well, what is there to discuss?
“As you may be aware, speaking at the Kremlin when announcing the decision on the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, I said we are open. We have always said that we are open. We reached certain agreements in Istanbul, after all. These agreements were almost initialled. But as soon as our troops withdrew from Kiev, the Kiev authorities lost any interest in the talks. That is all there is to it.”
Foreign Affairs September/October 2022
Foreign Affairs is the house journal of the Council on Foreign Relations, the most influential foreign affairs think tank in the U.S. In the 2022 September/October was an article written by Fiona Hill and Angela Stent, titled The World Putin Wants: How Distortions About The Past Feed Delusions About The Future. If you’re looking for a summary of every article written since February about Putin’s real motives and Putin’s real objectives in the “Special Military Operation” in Ukraine and Donbas, this is a good place to start.
Buried on page eleven is this passing acknowledgement.
“According to multiple former senior U.S. officials we spoke with, in April 2022, Russian and Ukrainian negotiators appeared to have tentatively agreed on the outlines of a negotiated interim settlement: Russia would withdraw to its position on February 23, when it controlled part of the Donbas region and all of Crimea, and in exchange, Ukraine would promise not to seek NATO membership and instead receive security guarantees from a number of countries.”
* * * *
All of the lives lost, the buildings and infrastructure destroyed, the refugees displaced, and the massive cost to the Ukrainian, Russian and Western economies since April flow from the sabotage of those peace talks. It is well to remember this now that negotiations are once again being proposed, this time by the USA, directly with Russia. The fact that these talks have been proposed by the US, and that Zelensky, who only a month ago declared that Ukraine would not negotiate with Russia until Putin was overthrown, turns the spotlight on the real real Western protagonist of this war. But that merely reasserts the lesson of Zelensky’s reneging on the April agreement.

We were also taught that such consent had to be given voluntarily, ie without coercion of any kind (exhibit A – the Nuremberg Code).

Yes, which is why we had lockdowns. Never before in the West had we locked down during a pandemic. We now follow China with everything, and I don’t doubt that re-education camps are far off, they’ll probably cart off Christians to begin with. China has Uyghurs in camps, making solar panels and wind turbines, Australia will have Christians in camps, dunno what they’ll make though, as there’ll be no electricity.

Russia may slide into full-blown fascism should Vladimir Putin be toppled as President, a journalist and expert in Russian politics has warned. Owen Matthews, who has just published his new book, Overreach: The Inside Story of Putin’s War Against Ukraine, was speaking at a time when Putin is smarting following Russia’s retreat from the strategically vital southern Ukrainian city of Kherson.

Mr Matthews added: “The important thing to remember is that the opposition to Putin, both in the country and in the Kremlin, is composed of people who are much more dangerous and aggressive than Putin himself.

“In that sense, regime change is very dangerous for Ukraine and for the world, which is one of the principal tragedies and jeopardies of the war’s endgame.

Vikpol patrolling the streets, brutalizing the populace, choking young girls, accosting pregnant mothers at home, menacing grannies in parks, stomping on citizen’s heads. You were not allowed into a workplace without being vaccinated. Every night we had black shirted Vikpol thugs on tv threatening people with violence if they failed to comply with curfew and ring of steel. The MSS would be proud.

“Painful” just doesn’t cover it. Any sensible person would still be seething.

I’m sorry, but starting a war that you can’t possibly win does NOT confer moral responsibility on other people to bail you out. That’s 100% on Putin and his supporters. Should we worry about a fascist regime taking power? Not really – nothing much would change in terms of intent, and state capacity will be even further degraded after a coup (not to mention further battlefield defeats that would cause the coup in the first place).

which true post-modern-speak essentially amounts to exclusion

its more likely a self-protective mechanism because wankers like the fat fucking failure of a farm-boy know damned well that the people he others will definitely punch back.

the postmodern outlook is characterized by self-referentiality, epistemological relativism, moral relativism, pluralism, irony, irreverence, and eclecticism; it rejects the “universal validity” of binary oppositions, stable identity, hierarchy, and categorization.

As C.S. Lewis said,
“You cannot go on ‘seeing through’ things forever. The whole point of seeing through something is to see something through it.

It is good that the window should be transparent, because the street or garden beyond it is opaque. How if you saw through the garden too?

It is no use trying to ‘see through’ first principles. If you see through everything then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world.

To ‘see through’ all things is the same as not to see”.

But there is no evidence that the COVID-19 vaccines prevent transmission, so it’s not clear how the unvaccinated could pose a danger to anymore.

Storms yesterday produced weird chook foot looking hail that caused considerable damage in strips though the ripening crops.
We’ve had some damage in canola and barley but others east and west of us have had total wipeouts in some paddocks.
It only needs to hail for a minute or two to do big damage. The assessors will be busy next week.

Written by some young lass by the name of Kaitlyn Smith at the Hun:

I am single, in my 30s and as of this week proud to be known as the “biggest threat” to Australia’s Liberal Party.
Truly, this news has made my entire month.
Nick Cater of The Australian, a well-known conservative voice, declared the rise of single 20 and 30-somethings one of the most “disturbing trends” threatening the party, according to new data.
At first, his words held a familiar sting not too dissimilar from a distant relative’s look of pity when I turn up to yet another Christmas without a partner.
But why are we perceived to be the problem yet again?
Surely a logical solution would be to look deep within the party and ask what about it does not resonate with women. Perhaps its policies aren’t quite hitting the mark for us?
We want action on climate change, we want leaders who actually hear our concerns.
We want a party that prioritises women’s rights as well as the more marginalised communities.
Perhaps the echo of former prime minister Scott Morrison’s “Jenny has a way of clarifying things” regarding the alleged rape of Brittany Higgins still haunts us.
Current Liberal and National Party members – one in particular who is in the mid of a serious, and in my humble opinion, impossible image overhaul – don’t exactly exude warmth either.
This year, the LNP recorded its lowest female representation in parliament since 1993 – women hold just nine of its 42 seats in the lower house, according to the ABC.
One anonymous female MP told the broadcaster the party was in deep denial about the extent of its disconnect with female voters.
Still, some LNP associates insist it is single women who are the problem, as those of us who aren’t coupled up could in no way act or think rationally.
In reality, we’re becoming more educated. Half of women aged 25-44 now hold a bachelor degree compared to 39 per cent of similarly aged men, according to the ABS.
More females – just over 690,400 – are enrolled in higher education courses than men (495,019). I’m damn well sure a fair portion of those women are single.
Just like the party he supports, Cater is missing two crucial things – perspective and sympathy.
We are not the threat. We are merely using our voices and refusing to accept a false narrative.
It would best serve Cater and any like-minded conservatives to remember this when they next question why we are shying away from our “older and wiser” counterparts.

Yeah, I don’t know what to say about it, sounds like a healthy dose of “me me me!”. (HT Danny Frawley)

The vaccine “mandates” are not mandates at all.

From The Victorian Department of Health:

Review of COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Orders in Victoria

According to Monty, mandate has nothing to do with the word mandatory.

Tell me the limited number of specific jobs and spaces the unvaccinated were excluded from because your entire defense here depends upon this exclusion being limited, and not across the majority of occupations and involving even the largest employers.

Here, Dover, the ‘specified workers’, just for starters. Good luck slipping between the cracks in this ‘limited list’. A real catch-all.

4. Accommodation worker
5. Agricultural and forestry worker
6. Airport worker
7. Ancillary, support and welfare worker
8. Authorised officer
9. Care worker
10. Community worker
11. Creative arts worker
12. Custodial worker
13. Disability worker
14. Emergency service worker
15. Entertainment and function worker
16. Funeral worker
17. Higher education worker
18. Justice worker
19. Manufacturing worker
20. Marriage celebrant
21. Meat and seafood processing worker
22. Media and film production worker
23. Mining worker
24. Physical recreation worker
25. Port or freight worker
26. Professional sports, high-performance sports, or racing person
27. Professional services worker
28. Public sector worker
29. Real estate worker
30. Religious worker
31. Repair and maintenance worker
32. Retail worker
33. Science and technology worker
34. Social and community service worker
35. Transport worker
36. Utility and urban worker
37. Veterinary and pet/animal care worker
38. Food distribution worker
39. Quarantine accommodation worker

And here are the ‘specified sites’ which required vaccination.

(a) residential aged care facilities;
(b) construction sites;
(c) healthcare facilities; and
(d) education facilities.

Taking out Putin’s army is likely the most cost-efficient government program in human history

Altogether, the Biden administration received Congressional approval for $40bn in aid for Ukraine for 2022 and has requested an additional $37.7bn for 2023 (sic). More than half of this aid has been earmarked for defense.?

These sums pale into insignificance when set against a total US defense budget of $715bn for 2022. The assistance represents 5.6% of total US defense spending. But Russia is a primary adversary of the US, a top tier rival not too far behind China, its number one strategic challenger. In cold, geopolitical terms, this war provides a prime opportunity for the US to erode and degrade Russia’s conventional defense capability, with no boots on the ground and little risk to US lives.

The Ukrainian armed forces have already killed or wounded upwards of 100,000 Russian troops, half its original fighting force; there have been almost 8,000 confirmed losses of armored vehicles including thousands of tanks, thousands of APCs, artillery pieces, hundreds of fixed and rotary wing aircraft, and numerous naval vessels. US spending of 5.6% of its defense budget to destroy nearly half of Russia’s conventional military capability seems like an absolutely incredible investment. If we divide out the US defense budget to the threats it faces, Russia would perhaps be of the order of $100bn-150bn in spend-to-threat. So spending just $40bn a year, erodes a threat value of $100-150bn, a two-to-three time return.?

The US military might reasonably wish Russia to continue deploying military forces for Ukraine to destroy.?

Meanwhile, replacing destroyed kit, and keeping up with the new arms race that it has now triggered with the West will surely end up bankrupting the Russian economy; especially an economy subject to aggressive Western sanctions. How can Russia possibly hope to win an arms race when the combined GDP of the West is $40 trillion, and its defense spending amounting to 2% of GDP totals well in excess of $1 trillion when the disproportionate US defense contribution is considered? Russia’s total GDP is only $1.8 trillion. Vladimir Putin will have to divert spending from consumption to defense, risking social and political unrest over the medium term, and a real and soon-to-be present danger to his regime. Just imagine how much more of a bargain Western military aid will be if it ultimately brings positive regime change in Russia.

Second, the war has served to destroy the myth that Russian military technology is somehow comparable to that of the US and West. Remember that Ukraine is using only upgraded second generation US technology but is consistently beating whatever Russia’s military can deploy. Wars are shop windows for defense manufacturers; any buyer in their right mind will want the technology made by the winner. Putin’s misjudgment has merely provided a fantastic marketing opportunity for its Western competitors.?

Note also that the war is also pushing NATO partners to quickly increase spending to the 2% of GDP and above target. Given the US’ technological advantage in defense equipment, a sizeable share of this additional military outlay will be spent on US equipment.?

Also, bringing India online as a client for weapons sales after they ditch Russia will probably be sufficient to wipe out the trade deficit within 10 years. Massive win all round.

I recall at the time my daughter who had just turned 18 and finished year 12 explaining to me; one day we are all in it together and the next, everyone is celebrating but I am excluded. It was not just cafes and cinemas, it was parties where vaxxed kids were allowed in the house

I did what they told me to do: I followed my Drs advice (I was my own Dr) – I trusted that advice because it was evidence based. I have 2 medical degrees, a specialty fellowship and an honours degree in Community Medicine (aka in Epidemiology). I spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours going over not only the medical evidence, but also the political and historical evidence. I concluded that the risk/benefit equation in taking the vax was not in my own interests, so I didnt.

For that, they cancelled my career, wiped out my income, forever, and had guards on the doors stopping me getting into my hospital. AHPRA investigated me for the crimes of ‘discussing Ivermectin on social media’, ‘antisemetism (for comparing my treatment to the early stage ‘othering’ of the holocaust), and ‘failing to follow government health advice’.

When I protested, my MP sent the police around to intimidate me. When I went to Canberra to protest some more, the AFP laid provably false charges, jailed me for 6 days, then tried, in court, to convict me of charges with a 5 year maximum penalty.

The CFS in SA labelled me a ‘reputational risk’ so I told them to shove it, after 20 years. Then the RAAF told me I couldn’t criticise the Covid response also, so I told them to shove it also, again after 20 years (and 7 overseas deployments) – to quote a poster from elsewhere, ‘the country I had literally gone to war for turned me into a second class citizen’.

Last christmas, I was excluded from my nephews wedding as it was a ‘proof of vax’ event. Fully 60% of the vaxxed guests came down with covid shortly after the wedding anyway. Both my ‘fully vaxxed’ sisters have since had Covid one or more times. All I ever got from covid was a 1 day sore throat (probably contracted in jail in Canberra). Even my own mother used to wear a facemask in the house when I visited.

This was far from ‘a few specific workplaces’ – they cancelled EVERY SINGLE aspect of my life, and I am yet to find out if that is going to include up to 5 years in jail.

This country is fundamentally broken, and I will NOT forgive and I will NOT forget.

Gez, we saw that several years ago when driving south towards Cowra. Cops in all their glory waving a kilomenter of traffic to a standstill. Nice young constable came up and told us the road was damaged and powerlines down due to a hail storm which had passed through just minutes earler.

Re: what has been inflicted on us over the last 3 years by the medical bureaucracy:

We are hearing that mental health is in dire straights in this country, and anxiety especially is a common complaint to GPs. Are we bloody surprised? What with being locked out from work, schools, transport, travel, entertainment, sport from such long periods…….then being subject to a determined and sustained fear campaign from media and government……are we surprised that a lot of the population seems to be suffering from PTSD?

Many of us (particularly the unvaccinated) have not had medical visits for well on 3 years. Now that we finally attend our surgeries for standard checks, stress, or whatever we are confronted with series of large scale health checks. The older ones amongst us are perhaps told that their cardio health has been neglected. The result? More bloody stress.

Like others on this blog I am “over” this country’s overlords of medicine and government. The damage to physical and mental health throughout these 3 years is, I believe, astronomical.

The parents of this dead child have named their new babe after her dead sister…..

Aishwarya Aswath’s body was so ravaged by infection she stood little chance of survival without immediate treatment from Perth hospital staff, an inquest has heard.

Seven-year-old Aishwarya died of sepsis on Easter Saturday last year after being left in a waiting room at Perth Children’s Hospital for more than 90 minutes.

An inquest is examining why the severity of her condition was not recognised after she presented with a fever, vomiting and diarrhoea.

Deputy state coroner Sarah Linton has been told there was intense demand on emergency department staff, including a junior waiting room nurse who was unable to monitor the girl because she was repeatedly called away on other duties.

That nurse did not consider sepsis, despite observing Aishwarya to have an elevated heart rate, respiratory rate and temperature, and to be floppy and grunting in pain.

I think my only slight objection was that the LDP could have been higher, but it generally followed my preferred order of decent-looking independents, half-decent independents, traitorous Liberals, Labor (without ‘u’), and the Marxists bringing up the rear.

Interesting to see Family First being resurrected by Lyle Shelton after his gig at the Australian Christian Lobby. From a standing start, they seem to have a reasonable number of ducks in a row.

Do you have legal representation?

Of course … I retained a very experienced criminal defence lawyer at $550 an hour – and well worth it from what I saw in my 3 days in court. The prosecution case was run by a very junior prosecutor who really had no idea what he was up against.

They thought they had a sound case, given the rock solid agreement between all 4 prosecution witnesses (who ‘saw’ me crash through numerous traffic control cones, signs, flashing lights etc and then ‘deliberately’ ram and injure the ‘vulnerable road worker’.

What the prosecutor didn’t know was that all 4 of their witnesses colluded to concoct the story, and the AFP thought that ‘losing’ their bodycam vision would deal with the fact that it exonnerated me.

They didnt know that I had my own vision of the incident. It was fun to watch all 4 witnesses get lead through a detailed description of what they ‘saw’, including confirming they had an unobstructed view, were quite sure of their memories etc. Each in turn then got shown my film, proving they could not have ‘witnessed’ what they had just described.

This meant the judge got to see my evidence of innocence, and their evidence of collusion, no less than 4 times, in a row.

It ended with the prosecutor arguing with the judge and her rolling her eyes.

If I don’t get ‘not guilty’ on all 4 charges as I expect, it will just re-inforce my belief in the corruption of the system.

Verdict mid week coming I think.

The best the prosecutor could do was close by saying he had 4 witnesses who had all ‘seen’ my burst through the various traffic control devices which closed the road (whereas my film showed no such devices of any kind were present0.

At this point the judge interrupted and said ‘but the film shows they were not there’

Prosecutor then argued that they were present, but not visible!

Judge observed that the prosecutor was supporting the defence case – that no traffic control devices were visible…

So, did you run over any cones, or frighten any road workers?

There were no cones etc – my film proves it. I was flagged to a stop by said road worker. He then marched up to my car and punched it. Miraculously, 3 AFP were watching the scene from 50 m away (including one on the ‘Covid taskforce’) – they did a lot of talking on phones for 30m before serving me a ‘burger with the lot’ (trumped up charges) and inviting me to go to jail or accept bail on condition of ceasing to protest and leave Canberra.

I declined and went to jail, got bailed day 6 and had my (3) days in court last week.

You musta been slightly in the wrong, the cops wouldn’t just hunt you for no reason?

Lisa Wilkinson quits Ten’s The Project

Nick Tabakoff
Media Diary

Lisa Wilkinson has shocked viewers by announcing her departure from Ten’s The Project on the show on Sunday night, five years after she defected from Nine’s Today show to the Ten panel program.

In an extraordinary and emotional address to viewers at the end of The Project on Sunday night, Wilkinson called out the “toxicity” of media scrutiny that she claimed she been confronted with since her much-publicised Logies speech in June.

“The last six months have not been easy,” she told viewers as her voice clearly started to waver. “And the relentless targeted toxicity by some sections of the media has taken a toll, not just on me, but on people I love.”

But Wilkinson qualified her statement: “Don’t get me wrong: I’m not above criticism. Far from it. I’m human, and I don’t always get it right. But by God, I’ve tried. I’ve given this job everything I have. I hope you at home know that. I hope I’ve brought you stories that matter, and introduced you to people whose lives and stories otherwise might never have been told.”

Sunday night represented the last time as host of The Project for Wilkinson, who insisted that the decision to depart the show was hers and hers alone.

But she will remain with Ten on other projects, with years still remaining on an ongoing multi-year contract revealed by The Australian’s Media Diary last year

“Good riddance’ and “Glass jaw” are phases that spring to mind…

Wilkinson indeed has a glass jaw. She’s not the one in danger of five years in the slammer. (Nor, for that matter, is Brittany.)

And you can bet your bottom dollar that the ABC, which has never reported on the Carl Beech scandal in the UK because that would have undermined its Get Pell campaign, won’t report on the latest twist. The senior cop who took Beech’s lies and fantasies seriously is now under investigation:
