Remember the US has many nuclear weapons stored in Turkey. Seem to recall they were put there before Erdogan came to power. Funny how the allseeing strategists never saw this coming.

To the extent that they still be there, they have probably been “maintained” into unservicability. The US services take nuclear weapons security seriously, and would ensure that Erdogan couldn’t become an instant nuclear power.

Yes agreed. Saw somewhere they need to be repacked every 6-8 years but does not preclude them from being used as a dirty bomb.

What happened to poor old hydroxychloroquine?

Trumpophobia. Who’d dare do double-blind HCQ studies? Other than ones set up to fail.
Anyone who tried a real study would be ostracized from medicine like Flyingduk has been.

Keep in mind that CDC personnel gave 99.95% of their political donations to the Democrats. That makes North Korea look libertarian by comparison.

What a real man does when faced with irresistible government force, like so many conscripts into the army for wars not in our land and not of our making did, is to take the severe risk to life and limb in order that those they love and care for do not have to face the shame, social outcasting, depredations and lack of future prosperity that would result from refusing. We protect and defend – even at risk to our very lives.

lol, turning rank cowardice into heroism. Frightened of the white feather from the women?

Nice one.

The conversion of the cuckservative into simpering weasel telling himself his total capitulation to the ladies in government and the media is actsuallly heroism, is complete. And the people who stand tall against the raging mob, well, they’re the Real Cowards.

KD earlier.

It matters not to a Commissioner with a God complex who is reportedly hated by all of his own people, and certainly distrusted by the population.

I was thinking about that.
Obviously he missed reading that instruction manual for greasy pole climbers, “Don’t Tell the Boss”.
Nixon, Overland, Ashton and Co would never have been anywhere near the actual meeting where the decision was made.
Riding instructions would have been delivered to a deputy over a one-on-one coffee meeting, with plausible deniability.
Actual verbals : “Get this prick on the hook for this”.
Journal/Diary/Almanac entry : “Discussed death in Yuendemu. Advised DepComm Smith to ensure due process followed.”
But it seems Chalker’s ego demanded that he be seen to be pulling the levers.

It seems to me that the reason the MSM are now suddenly covering the “Hunter Laptop” story is that there is a coup afoot within the Democratic Party.

The DNC and their media muppets have decided that something has to be done about Joe. The chosen sock puppet has become a total liability. It’s not because Joe didn’t do everything they told him to do, it’s because he’s now so totally retarded and feeble that even the might of the MSM are finding it impossible to “sell the product”.

Expect a “cunning plan” to try and get an acceptable “candidate” front and centre. And quickly. Joes done. He’s going under the bus, and will probably be described by the MSM as a “lone wolf”. Unless they “take out” Karmarla at the same time.

That leaves President Pelosi as next in line. That’s easily fixed with careful timing of a vote in the house (just prior to Joe/Karmarla getting “forced out”). Presto, and you get a saviour ride in on a white horse.

Don’t put it past the bastards. Desperate times. Desperate measures.

They would contemplate absolutely anything in order to save their own skins.

” Survive if that is what matter most to you – I prefer to live, risks and all.

*thunderous applause*”

Many years ago, I did the first jump of an “accelerated freefall” parachute course.
The details are relatively unimportant, but the main take away was that while fear is a significant motivator in our lives, facing such fears head-on is much more satisfying (even exhilarating!) than taking the “safe” path. That experience changed my life in more ways than you can imagine, and I would not give such an experience up for anything.

I would also note that if you enjoy (as most people do) “thrill rides”, scary movies and so on, such an experience is well worth your time. If you are an adrenaline junkie already, you simply MUST try this – it is not the fall itself, but hanging from a slowly descending parachute with huge amounts of adrenaline coursing through your system and the near sudden and complete loss of the stimulation that provided it. A warning though – everything else from then on is so tame as be boring.

Look, a lot of people caved into the mob pressure to get vaccinated for no reason other than their own internal weakness. Their job wasn’t on the line, there was no real pressure other than the (at times mentally crippling) pressure and punishment coming down from the government and raging mob and at the height of the lunancy they caved in to just fit in. There’s probably at least 20-30% of the population that did that. And now in hindsight and with the space of some months are thinking “hmm probably didn’t need to do that” and are beginning to feel guilty within themselves for caving in to peer pressure and gutlessly caving before a mob.

Here’s what we’re not going to do.

We’re not going to cast that moral failing into some sort of unconventional manly heroism. It is what it is, weak modern man, improve and resolve to be better and to never do it again.

And just because a lot of people did it, and you can form the numbers and drown the truth in an ocean of self-delusion doesn’t change reality one.little.bit. The mob came and, in the critical moment, you guiltily joined them. That is what it is.

Terror rustling is a thing.

Israel Dog Unit fights agricultural terror in Samaria (30 Mar)

The Israel Dog Unit (IDU), a nonprofit specializing in the training and deployment of security dogs to protect vulnerable areas of Israel, responded to another part of the recent wave of terror this morning. At approximately 4:35 am, agricultural terrorists infiltrated the Samaria village of Tal Binyamin and stole a flock of sheep from a local rancher. The IDU dispatched a rapid response team including armed volunteers, advanced thermal imaging UAVs, and the tracking dog Shiny to track down the culprits and retrieve the stolen flock.

Over the following two and a half hours, the IDU’s response team worked with the IDF’s Harub battalion, Border Police officers, and local security forces, and succeeded in tracking the thieves through the Samaria hills to the point at which the stolen livestock was loaded into a getaway truck and driven away along Route 505, the Trans-Samaria Highway.

Not clear from the story if the authorities have caught up with the truck yet, but doing all that in less than 3 hours is blisteringly quick. Aussie farmers might ask the IDU people if they’re willing to start an Australian sub-branch.

Australia’s petrol reserves are in the USA.

Not quite right, but makes a good point.

Australia has a piece of the US strategic oil reserve. If ever we had to draw down on it in an emergency, we would somehow have to convert it into commercial product – petrol, avgas, diesel etc.

Not an instant solution given our pitiful refinery capacity.

It makes the implicit assumption that Australia is set up to receive and refine that particular crude blend, or can run it through someone else’s refinery and take the products, or swap it for seaborne product, and so on…

All dodgy assumptions in a world where shit has hit the fan.

And when would we have had to go to war against them again?

Towards the end of WWI, Pershing insisted that the only way the Germans would accept defeat was to march into Berlin. The war weary allies demurred. Twenty years later we got a re-run.

One way or another, Japan had to be occupied to be demilitarised.

The mob who were assembling the bombs on Tinian expected to be there for months or longer as more bombs became available and were used. “Five Days in August” describes it.
It is interesting that the Hiroshima bomb(U235) had very little U235 separated by the gaseous diffusion process. See Greg Benford’s “The Berlin Project” and the afterword. They made an early decision to go with the diffusion process instead of centrifuges which was a mistake. The Nagasaki bomb was a Pu 239 bomb. Easier to obtain the fissionables, harder to make the bomb go off.

Ideally they’ll get Kamala out of the road first so that the anointed one can be appointed VP. Then when Joe departs the VP automatically becomes President, so there’s no need to deal with Pelosi.

There’s a couple of hitches of course. Kamala won’t want to go quietly, and even if she does, “Dr Jill” won’t want to manipulate Joe’s hand to sign the paper appointing a new VP when “Dr Jill” knows very well that the next step will see Joe and her punted from the White House.
They need something on Kamala that’s impeachable (and preferably could lead to time in the Striped Sunshine Hotel). Not that they’ll make it public – she’ll be protected as long as she co-operates – but they can privately persuade her to take some prestigious lavishly taxpayer-funded sinecure, and step 1’s achieved.
“Dr Jill” will need similar treatment, but presumably there’s plenty of “10 per cent for the big guy” evidence that they could threaten to provide to people who run the “proceeds of crime” confiscations in the USA. Faced with being reduced to financial normality “Dr Jill” may well go along with appointing the chosen one as VP and then gracefully accept the subsequent retirement of Joe.

“Look, a lot of people caved into the mob pressure to get vaccinated for no reason other than their own internal weakness. Their job wasn’t on the line,…”

Mine was. Not just the current one, but also the chance of getting another one in the same industry, or as it appeared at the time, any job at all.
As well as, as you say, the insane social and family pressures.
I suppose I could have relied on government handouts for the first time in my life, but that is extremely distasteful to me when it is not unavoidable. And it was avoidable – I didn’t like the requirements, but it was avoidable none the less, and the requirements also removed the other insane pressures being applied, which would not have been in any way lessened by relying on the government to support me and mine.
So as distasteful and risky as it was, I determined that there was little choice without the complete loss of my dignity in being able to support myself, and being – along with those I care about – essentially ostracised from society. Not just “polite society” but all of it.

Others may choose differently, and that is up to them. Which is perhaps the entire point – I presume you would agree that such choices should not be coerced, and that each individual should be free to make whatever choices for their own health seems best to them under the circumstances. So other than the coercion, why do you denigrate MY choice? It does not affect YOU. And since we (apparently) agree that it is the coercion that is the greatest wrong, why do you spend your time telling me I am a fool instead of joining with me so that we can ensure such coercion is never applied again?

You know what I think? I think you’d rather put shit on me and my choices than actually do something about your greatest issue with this entire kurfuffle. And if that is true, then perhaps you should look to your own cowardice to act in the way you say your conscience demands. It seems you’d rather run and hide than fight for what you say you believe in. Which would make you…

The Green boosters are clinging to long-lasting, reliable and significantly less fire-prone vanadium redox batteries as the Great White Hope and Saviour of their renewables fantasies. But the battery technology and metal itself are still too valuable in too many other places and industries to lightly dismiss.

The best part of all of this business, is that the mines in question are just about operational. Nothing that can be dumped the instant the leftwits’ Narrative changes…

Roberts-Smith punched SAS soldier in jaw and ordered mock execution, court told
Michaela Whitbourn
By Michaela Whitbourn
March 31, 2022 — 12.21pm
A former elite soldier has told the Federal Court that his troop commander, Ben Roberts-Smith, told him to “shoot” a soldier posing as a detainee during a training exercise and punched him in the jaw after a subsequent mission in Afghanistan.

Person 10, a former Special Air Service soldier whose identity cannot be revealed for national security reasons, told Mr Roberts-Smith’s defamation case in Sydney on Thursday that the decorated former soldier called him into a compound during a “mission rehearsal exercise” in Perth in 2012 and ordered the mock execution.

“There was a PUC, person under confinement, who was bound. He was on his knees facing the corner,” Person 10 said. He said another soldier, Person 9, was playing the role of the prisoner.

Person 10 said Mr Roberts-Smith told him to shoot the prisoner.

“I said, ‘but it’s Person 9,’” he told the court. Person 10 said Mr Roberts-Smith repeated: “Shoot him.”

Person 10 said he responded with “bang, bang” to indicate that he had shot the man.

He said Mr Roberts-Smith replied: “That’s how it’s gonna be on the day.”

Person 10 told the court that Person 9 referred to the incident later and said “words to the effect of, ‘don’t get involved in that shit, it’s not good.’”

Person 10 is among a number of current and former soldiers called to give evidence for The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Canberra Times in the defamation suit filed against the mastheads by Mr Roberts-Smith.

Mr Roberts-Smith alleges a series of articles published in 2018 portray him as a war criminal who bullied Australian soldiers and was involved in unlawful killings of Afghan detainees.

The media outlets are seeking to rely on a defence of truth and allege Mr Roberts-Smith committed or was involved in six murders of Afghans under the control of Australian troops, when they cannot be killed under the rules of engagement.

Mr Roberts-Smith denies all wrongdoing and maintains any killings in Afghanistan were carried out lawfully in the heat of battle.

Person 10 also gave evidence about a mission in Afghanistan in mid-2012, during which shots were “fired in our general direction” and he fired back. It became clear later that the shots were not from Taliban insurgents but another SAS patrol.

He said he stopped shooting when Mr Roberts-Smith yelled: “Ceasefire, ceasefire, ceasefire.” Shortly after he stopped firing, “a woman and child emerged … and the woman was holding a bird cage”, Person 10 said.

He said he “did not fire willingly at a woman and child” but he had perceived a threat.

Person 10 told the court that Mr Roberts-Smith told him to stand up during a debriefing in the troop’s patrol room after the incident and punched him in the jaw.

“It rattled me, I did not expect to be punched. After that I can’t recall what he said but he was shouting at me,” Person 10 said. He said Mr Roberts-Smith went on to say that “nothing leaves this room”.

The court heard Person 10 was subsequently removed from the SAS. He agreed with Mr Roberts-Smith’s barrister, Arthur Moses, SC, that “at the time I was embarrassed”.

“Since that’s occurred, I’ve put it in the past to move on,” Person 10 said.

I was under the impression that the Allied command estimated the likely death toll of a full scale air, sea and land invasion of Japan ,would be between 500,000 and 1,000,000.
Mostly civilians of course.

I think they made the correct decision to drop the A-bomb.

On a personal level, if they hadn’t I might not be here to have an opinion. Dad somehow survived 50+ missions in bombers over Europe and was back here in Australia – retraining to be sent north to fight the Japanese. The A-bombs prevented him from that fate.
When demobbed, he swore he would never fly again and was true to his word. Never got on another plane again.

Prof. Skyllas-Kazacos has been playing with vanadium redox flow batteries my whole career, with nothing much coming out of it. It’s been going on that long the patents ran out 10 years ago. The energy density is so low it means you have to have a giant chemical plant to generate as much electricity as a single diesel genset. One litre of diesel contains as much energy as 600 L of the charged-up electrolyte.

Nor did I throw a continuous stream of “you are upset at your choice”, “now you realise you made a mistake” crap at you – because I have no knowledge of that either. It’s true I may have responded with such to your vitriolic tamtrums about manhood and ethics, but only after you had already spewed such crap at me and others on so many occasions that I have lost count.

Therefore, I say to you once again: go hide under your bed in fear like the dog that you are of the trials and tribulations life throws your way if that is what you wish – I care not. I will do what I can and what I must, and neither do I care for your opinion on such matters – they are not your choices, but mine and I will deal with the consequences. Have to agree with that. Months ago I said that Harris could take over from 22 January 2023 being two years and one day after Biden was sworn in and, is after the mid-term elections.

I get that Harris is not at all popular but with two years before the next election for the MSM to weave its magic (sarc) and convince the electorate that she is worthy, it’s doable. Alternatively, if not Harris, who is the new messiah that will lead the Dems into the next election? And by the way, dumping dopey Joe is viable because he’s obviously unfit to be President and that would be an easy sell to the public. Harris’ elevation under the constitution is also obvious and would have tremendous appeal to the left because Harris is a woman ‘of colour’. If you were anti-Harris then you would be painted as a misogynist racist (or something). Link her with a strong (male) VP candidate and awaaaay we go.

On the original point it’s one thing to get rid of Joe – but the VP as well? All within the next couple of years and in time to ‘sell’ the new person(s) to the electorate?

Reading the article says it was just photos taken by the intercepting fighters, interpreted by the intelligence section.

There is the very strong possibility that the pair of fighters the Russians launched from Kaliningrad, as per the article, were Mig-31Ks. The carrier aircraft of the Kinzhal cruise missile, reported to be nuclear-capable.

They don’t appear to retain any stocks of free-fall nuclear bombs (Unlike the US B61), as per this list:

And all the other supersonic nuclear missiles in their inventory are too large to be carried by anything other than TU-95 and TU-22 bombers.

Entertainment giant Disney is facing a popular backlash after leaked videos of internal meetings revealed plans to make half of its characters identify as a racial minority or ‘LGBT’ by the end of the year as part of a comprehensive new “queer agenda”.

The company, which owns the rights to Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, has dumped “ladies and gentlemen” as a greeting to avoid offending transgender children and set up a “tracker” to ensure it was creating enough “gender nonconforming” and “canonical trans characters”.

“I‘m here as the mother of two queer children, actually, one transgender child and one pansexual child, and also as a leader,” declared Karey Burke, president of Disney’s general entertainment content, to a recent “town hall” virtual meeting of Disney staff, extolling a push for greater LGBTIQ representation.

In another of the videos, leaked to American investigative journalist Christopher Rufo, senior television producer Latoya Raveneau revealed her “not-at-all-secret gay agenda”.

“I was just, wherever I could, adding queerness,” she said. “No one would stop me, and no one was trying to stop me.”

Disney’s Diversity and Inclusion Manager Vivian Ware meanwhile explained the rationale for dumping the traditional “ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls” greeting.

“We don‘t want to just assume because someone might be, in our interpretation, may be presenting as female, but they may not want to be called ‘princess,” she said.

A third video showed production co-ordinator Allen March saying Disney’s “tracker” would monitor the number of “gender nonconforming characters,” ”canonical trans characters,” and ”canonical bisexual characters.”

The revelations, potentially leaked as reprisal against Disney, come amid a vicious debate across the US over a new law in Republican-controlled Florida, which outlawed discussions of sexual orientation and gender identity at schools with students between kindergarten and year three.

Dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” law by opponents and denounced by the Biden administration as “hateful and harmful”, it also bolstered parents’ rights to sue a school if they didn’t comply.

Signed into law on Monday by Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis after weeks of debate in the state parliament, some of Disney’s staff walked off the job last week in protest, demanding Disney support the “LGBTQIA+ community by stopping construction and investment in the state of Florida until hateful legislation is repealed”.

Initially reluctant to become involved, chief executive Bob Chapek earlier this week condemned the law, urging courts to strike it down, prompting a war of words with the state’s governor – widely seen as a contender for the Republican nomination or president in 2024 – who highlighted Disney’s record of business in China.

“This state is governed by the interests of the people of the state of Florida. It is not based on the demands of California corporate executives,” he said in a statement.

Polls suggest most Americans, including a majority of Democrats, support the law.

Comedian Amy Schumer and other celebrities chanted “gay, gay gay” after giving a speech at the Oscars on Sunday, overshadowed by Will Smith’s slap of Chris Rock, to show their disapproval of the law, perhaps the most controversial state law in a generation.

Disney, whose share price has dropped about 23 per cent over the past 12 months, hasn’t yet responded formally to the leaked videos, which add to an increasingly bitter national debate between Democrats and Republicans about parents’ rights over curriculum in government schools.

School districts in Florida, Tennessee and other Republican-controlled jurisdictions last year sought to remove books about race, sex and gender, from school reading lists and school libraries, prompting accusations of ‘book banning’ by Democrats.

Florida parent January Littlejohn, whose 13-year-old daughter was put in a school gender transition program without her knowledge, spoke out against the gender identity programs in November, fuelling support for what became known as the Parental Rights in Education Bill.

“They told me my daughter had to give consent by law for me and my husband to be notified [of the] transgender on nonconforming student support plan that was signed by our daughter,” she said.

The plan changed her daughter’s name and pronouns, bathroom preferences, and gave her the option to bunk with boys on school field trips in keeping with the policy of Leon County Schools, a district that includes 32,000 students in the Tallahassee region of Florida, Ms Littlejohn said.

You would have to be incredibly ignorant (perhaps wilfully so), stupid or suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome to believe this nonsense.

What is the mechanism for it not working? What is the molecular structure of COVID 19 that blocks this drug?

Whatever you do don’t include petromasculinity on your OkCupid profile.

Liberal mag mocked for knocking ‘petromasculinity’, hoping ‘climate crisis will help change masculinity’ (30 Mar, via Climate Depot)

Liberal magazine The New Republic (TNR) garnered the scorn of critics after publishing an article Friday celebrating “petromasculinity” being rejected by younger generations, specifically those using online dating apps.

In the piece, headlined “‘Petromasculinity’ Is Becoming Toxic, Too—at Least to Online Daters,” TNR praised what appeared to be a shift in online daters preferring a potential partner who cares about climate change and “rejecting petromasculinity: the climate denial, authoritarian politics, and sexism that are too often inextricably linked.”

“Climate denial is not hot,” author Liza Featherstone wrote, while citing a report from The Hill that “climate denial” was the biggest dealbreaker for users of the dating app OkCupid.

The report noted 90% of users said it was important a potential partner cared about the planet, although TNR noted, “OkCupid’s data isn’t conducted like a formal public opinion survey and isn’t representative of the population at large.”

Petromasculine guys apparently are sexist nazis. Maybe that’s why the ladies like them so much.

No it’s not, not by a long shot- not for me on the ground, anyways.
I’ve got a great bunch of alternative mates, stocked by a lifetime mixing in visual art, indie music and setting fire to big piles of dicey shit in the paddock. But my straight mates- I should say, our family friends would be a better hint for their scource- have taken turns chipping me for Batflu Denial over the last two years. That’s 3/4 of my phonebook, and I’d say a good slice of them- let’s say 25% of my gross associates- have seriously tee’d off on me, and been met by calm rebuff.
Some have been met with thorough debunking, some with gentle mockery, usually depends on the surrounding audience cos I’m a shy guy though I do like subversive humour. (Hard to believe our generation were raised on DAAS and the individualist, self-deprecation and anti-authoritarian riffs of Mikey, Jen and Sandy).
The only invective against jab boosters I’ve witnessed is online. Here, I’d put most poasters down to the fun of cut-n-thrust arguments, the rhetoric ploy of pushing your own ideas to fresh testable extremes, and yeah trolling.
Trolling does not define the jab-skeptical argument though.

From myself and my neighbours who I chatted with about this last night, they both also being unvaxxed.
It’s having friendships weirdly change.
It’s arguments with family members that turn nasty.

The interesting part is that there are plenty of vaccinated but skeptical households like mine, who have observed exactly the same thing.

Again, it isn’t the stabs or lack of that is unmasking people. It’s the fear. Propaganda only works on those who wish to believe it.

So, it’s a little bit rude to assume everyone vaccinated thinks the same Government/Leftist Establishment way simply because of the stab.

How many men would have died while the Japanese argued for no occupation of the Home Islands, the Japanese military to oversee their own disarmament, Japanese war criminals to be tried in Japanese Courts?

All of those matters would have been up for negotiation. But as I said earlier, the numbers that would die on either side, soldier or civilian, by prolonging the war, presses on the negotiations too.

The Japanese were very willing to sacrifice huge numbers in the war. Those ridiculous charges against machine gun positions, the idiocy of officers leading the charge with sword held high maki, the kamikaze, the inadequacy of medical facilities for the wounded, the treatment of POWs.

The value placed on an individual life was very much lower for the Japanese military than the allies. For the Japanese elite it wasn’t about lives it was about their prestige and the ability to retain power even if they did surrender because they feared if they surrendered control of the nation many of them would be executed for war crimes.

Meanwhile people who bravely stood against the mob and refused to join in are still lingering under what looks to be near permanent extra-judicial punishment and movement control orders. Nobody’s talking about that atrocity anymore are they? Instead it’s all The Unconventional Heroism of Joining the Mob: Conservacuck Double Jabbed Vaccine Passport Edition.

So in the cold light of day, the weak mass now must move onto rehabilitating their own character failing and complete capitulation: in both mind and (literally) body. What they did to themselves to avoid local Angry CHO, Premier, TV personality and Mean Girls in the office. They must go on the attack, but not against those people, as if. No, to feel better about themselves they must now, necessarily, erase and cast the people who did not cave into the mob as somehow “off”. Perhaps they deserve all this a little bit – self righteous weirdos right? How else to reconcile that those people exist and did what so many internally resolved simply could not be done by themselves: stand apart from the mob, to be outcasts.

This was predicted by the way. 100% last year. It’s how these things always work. It’s how the group is always brought into a permanent new way of thinking by demagogues leading a mob. Drink from the cup, kiss the ring, put your head in their hands, cheer the parade, wear the badge, put your kids into the program, raise the salute – everyone else is, what are you – a weirdo? Whatever they make you do, and there’s always a thing you have to choose to do, once you choose to do it to avoid being uncomfortable socially, they have a hold on you at the deepest level.

Mob dynamics have been studied up the wazoo since WW2, Everyone heard the tales and warnings, the signs, what not to do. Every person day dreamed at some time or another of how they would have acted, would have stood apart. Unfortunately just we saw reality, nothing was learned by the everyman, but everything was learned by the rulers.

But Harris? A solution may be if it is announced in, say, 1.5-2 years that neither Biden or Harris will re-contest the Presidency/VP roles and the Dems already have another couple of people lined up ready to go. Then it might be doable with Harris having been bought-off with some juicy role either in govt or gigantic salaries as a ‘consultant’ to major companies.

You lot know this blog has been taken over by the riduculous and insane.
24/7 lies and sneering.

And telling other visitors to piss off.

And many weak fucks here agree with me but just want a quiet life.
This isn’t the little gang of sneerers blog.
There are purely parasites, useless to their country and their fellow man.
I keep telling you, you will get it one day, but it will be too late.
They just keep destroying the blog, arguing in circles.

I could give you a thousand examples but I’ll just give you one.
Choo Choo couldn’t answer what the punishment for not taking the jab was last night.
He didn’t want to answer, because he knows it was “lose his job’, yet in the very next breath, he tells everyone to get jobs because there are plenty out there.
Noise, idiocy, and constant 24 hour destruction of what was once a sane blog.
It’s a shame to see what has happened in two years.
The only question to ask yourself, is why are their targets always the more solid in right wing principles?
Is it not possible these people are paid?
I’m going with just, thick and with personal and integrity issues, but you have to start to wonder looking at their behaviour.
Similar to what Reagan said….I didn’t leave catallaxy, Catallaxy left me.
It’s heading very much to the very wrong side of history.

Another grumpy email sent into the yawning void which is the relevant ministers inbox… (WA health mongette)

I would like some indication of the expected date for the removal of the emergency powers the government has granted itself during the Covid outbreak.
At this stage it is appearing to be a never ending roll on with very little justification beyond the removal of a vast raft of civil rights.
I would also like an assurance the government is not going to seek to grant themselves retrospective immunity to civil claims for damages or injuries caused to people and businesses during the restrictions and mandated medical procedures.
As a qualified paramedic I am very aware the government has acted in a vile and unethical way by forcing people to choose between employment and services or a medical procedure.
As a Paramedic if I was to coerce someone into treatment I would be committing a form of assault, as would any medical professional.
Has your department sought medical/ethical advice on the legality of coercing people to take the vaccines and if so may I please be provided with a copy. If a copy cannot be provided could you please provide an explanation as to why.
I do also hope you are aware of the impending avalanche of legal actions once you remove your emergency powers.
They will make WA inc look like a footnote.
Yours respectfully.

Got the automated reply.
They will parse the text the see if they can junk it on their own guidelines..

“IVM is of course a protease inhibitor.”

As well as an anti-inflamatory, so helps reduce the “cytokine storms” that play such havoc with the heavily lung infected individuals.

Incidentally ivermectin did kill covid-19 in vitro, but at a strength that was unsafe for human use.

it doesn’t need to kill covid, it just interferes with its replication.

The EU plans to make a new tax.
Along with the Biden “Unrealised Capital Gains Tax”, it has become obvious the collective Western Leadership has become so divorced from the real world, and the consequences of their actions as to constitute some kind of insanity.
They need to be isolated and given treatment but restrained from doing us any further damage.
Seriously.

Excellent idea. It would explode the head of every lefty in the country and the kids would have a lot of fun. My old dad did cadets and rose to be a 2Lt in them.

Indeed – what is the quoted vax efficacy against omicron? 40% or so?
I’ve seen many OCT trials showing 85+% prophylaxis and 60+% treatment efficacy for IVM based treatments, regardless of variant. Sure, not RCT, just OCT, but significant enough to warrant wider trials.

Nope. I told you to go get a job. There are nearly 7,000 vacancies in the two States you have family and networks in, yet here you are wasting your days and my welfare dollars calling everyone you don’t like lesser beings.

Nope, most did it because there personal circumstances differ, Kneel. The way I see just because my circumstances have allowed me to remain un jabbed does not make me a hero and does not rule out getting it if those circumstances change.

Not at all mind boggling to anyone familiar with the history of Big Pharma tricks. Plenty of studies on that long before COVID. One of the prominent ones is the initial studies on Prozac claiming a hugely successful treatment rates. Now we know for many people it is little more than placebo. Antidepressants work for biologic depression but most diagnoses are not that.

Say what you like Kneel, your friends tried to stop you having in the back of your mind that you may have killed your kids prematurely.
If that involved having an argument with you over whether career was more important than that, so be it.
It also means I did my bit in trying to save your kids from the jab too.
Again so be it.

Bruce they didn’t say it “worked”. Please people read the links carefully and then make your comment.
A golden rule in biomed is don’t extrapolate. I cannot sufficiently stress this: biomed is fundamentally empirical, syllogisms, no matter how rational they are appear, are often misleading.

Despite these important findings, the authors underscore that it is a small, early, observational study and should not be taken as conclusive evidence that long-term use of protease inhibitors will protect people living with HIV from COVID-19.

Yes I do note that they say it doesn’t work on its own in vivo.

The p-values do seem fairly good.

Abstract
We show that treatment with the FDA-approved anti-parasitic drug ivermectin induces immunogenic cancer cell death (ICD) and robust T cell infiltration into breast tumors. As an allosteric modulator of the ATP/P2X4/P2X7 axis which operates in both cancer and immune cells, ivermectin also selectively targets immunosuppressive populations including myeloid cells and Tregs, resulting in enhanced Teff/Tregs ratio. While neither agent alone showed efficacy in vivo, combination therapy with ivermectin and checkpoint inhibitor anti-PD1 antibody achieved synergy in limiting tumor growth (p?=?0.03) and promoted complete responses (p?<?0.01), also leading to immunity against contralateral re-challenge with demonstrated anti-tumor immune responses. Going beyond primary tumors, this combination achieved significant reduction in relapse after neoadjuvant (p?=?0.03) and adjuvant treatment (p?<?0.001), and potential cures in metastatic disease (p?<?0.001). Statistical modeling confirmed bona fide synergistic activity in both the adjuvant (p?=?0.007) and metastatic settings (p?<?0.001). Ivermectin has dual immunomodulatory and ICD-inducing effects in breast cancer, converting cold tumors hot, thus represents a rational mechanistic partner with checkpoint blockade.

John – Did you catch the one about HIV drugs working on Covid? But only the combo including a protease inhibitor.

maraviroc is the drug against covid and also works with long covid
Maraviroc inhibits SARS-CoV-2 multiplication and s-protein mediated cell fusion in cell culture

statins are also effective against long covid as fractalkine inhibitors
