If there’s no candidate in Wentworth, I’m drawing a big set of tits on the lower house paper & dropping that in the box.

So a vote for Shorten it is then?

Thanks for that article.
Interest bit at the end about susceptibility to covid being genetic.

It was an interesting little addition to the article.
I probably should have highlighted it.

You want mines as well?! Ok, well that’s going to add to the cost of course. The entire 1900km length? How wide (nominally) do you propose the field?

Better add another $750m to the price I previously quoted.

Yes, but it’s impossible to not wonder who advises him. Morrison doesn’t live in a vacuum by himself.

David Starkey in his Youtube talks often refers to the ‘court’ at 10 Downing St, and the lack of Cabinet decisions, but rather decisions made by “King’ Bozo based on whoever spoke to him last (often ‘Queen’ Carrie).

I wonder if that, minus Queen Jenney is also playing out here

The article with the interesting bit about covid.

The interesting bit is here so you dont have to read through if you dont want to.

https://quillette.com/2021/03/29/the-campaign-to-thwart-paleogenetic-research-into-north-americas-indigenous-peoples/

Of course, some might say that there is only theoretical value in knowing about early human life in North America—so why not simply accede to the requests of Indigenous peoples? By way of answer, consider that Reich’s lab at Harvard has published a staggering amount of paleogenetic data, much of it relating directly to human wellbeing. Svante Pääbo’s lab is similarly productive, as illustrated by a 2020 paper published in Nature, entitled ‘The major genetic risk factor for severe COVID-19 is inherited from Neanderthals.’ It identifies a gene cluster on chromosome 3 that is a “major genetic risk factor for severe symptoms in patients,” and shows that the risk is conferred by “a genomic segment of around 50 kilobases in size that is inherited from Neanderthals and is carried by around 50% of people in south Asia and around 16% of people in Europe.”

Such discoveries have been made regarding all manner of diseases. And we will never know how many new discoveries we may have missed now that human remains are being taken from—or freely given away by—scientists in the name of politics. It is past time for science to reassert itself for the benefit of all humanity.

Calli – I think the vaccines strip out a population of specific T-cells only. Not all of them, just the ones with receptors that latch onto the spike protein generated by the mRNA on cell surfaces.

That I think resets natural immunity to that particular version of coronavirus, and any others with fairly similar spike proteins.

The vaccines do cause production of antibodies, which are protective as long as they last. But I think those particular T-cells are first responders, and provide natural immunity by finding and killing the few initially infected cells before the virus get a chance to multiply explosively. But the vaccines produce so many spike proteins that those cells get mopped up and removed. Not other ones though with different receptors.

I am not an expert. But do I think the immune depression is specific only to those style coronaviruses and somewhat related ones.

This comment is not about the autoimmune issues from the vaccines – that is a real problem as you know from bitter experience.

How much steel would be needed to build a wall the length of the WA border?

It would be unnecessary. During WWII a few POW camps were built on the Nullarbor Plain and they weren’t fenced as there was nowhere to go outside of the camp. Several times prisoners walked off but they came back a few days later as there was no food or water available anywhere.

Fauci is Dr Mengele.
Watch his hands shaking during the exchanges with the US Senator. He knows he’s fucked, really fucked. The walls are closing in as the truth leaks out.

Except he’s Deep State and no-one elected him. He is supported by the Deep State Washington DC public service who vote 95-100% for their protectors in the Democratic Party.

Sacking him would require not only an end to election cheating, but politicians with balls insisting that public servants work for the people — the founding principle forgotten decades ago as the Deep State circles the wagons against threats to its control over America in the heartland between the coasts.

The 2020 election was a coup d’etat and it will take a civil war against the fascistocracy to restore the rule of law.

re Archaeo-genetics under attack (as linked above for the Americas):

In a 2017 article published in Science, Ann Gibbons wrote about the power of DNA analysis to “bust” the myths associated with Europeans’ origins: “Despite their tales of origin, most people are the mixed descendants of many migrations… As techniques for probing ethnic origins spread, nearly every week brings a new paper testing and then falsifying lore about one ancient culture after another.” Gibbons properly describes this as a positive development. But if this principle is true for the so-called old world, why is it untrue in regard to Indigenous peoples?

Why indeed. In Australia is busts the autochtheonous myth so dear to First Nations’ hearts.

Thanks guys for your various comments on the subject.

The claims are serious enough to be treated seriously. But it seems to me that they are just another proposition that demands a “faith” type response. In other words, a cultish type of construct around life and death.

Additional deaths may be being reported from nurses and funeral directors. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if some were vax injuries that the authorities are being coy about. More likely the result of people not fronting up for checkups and medical interventions in time because of covid restrictions themselves. There are also reports of deaths due to first responders being stretched because of low numbers.

It may well be that immune systems will be suppressed for specific iterations, as Bruce describes. And it may not be all that long lived.

For those of you who imagine I fear death, let me assure you that my bags have been packed and ready since April 1970 when I handed the lot over to the One who made me. And it seems I am remarkably difficult to kill. 😀

Calli

If what they are saying is correct, then everyone who has received an injection/s will have a severely compromised immune system resulting in succumbing to serious illness and/or death. And this effect is imminent.

From my limited understanding, the issue relates more to the various coronaviruses. If the claim is accurate, the immune reaction of the vaccinated is now tuned to an earlier mutation of Kung Flu, and will not be as effective against later versions such as Omicron. I don’t think (but can’t claim to know) that it is a wider loss of immune reaction.

Hope this helps.

The Smash Dragon can hit static and moving targets with deadly precision

Drone warfare has taken a giant step forward with the development of a system that can carry and fire assault or sniper rifles as it hovers over a target.

A robot weapon called Smash Dragon, designed by an Israeli company, can be mounted on different forms of unmanned aerial platforms and turned into a system that fires as it flies.

‘Does not match’: Djokovic facing fresh questions over positive test results

A complex tale of manipulated QR codes.

Luckily, this complexity provides a convenient escape route for the Moron Government:

A spokesperson for Mr Hawke said on Wednesday the Serbian tennis star’s lawyers had “recently provided lengthy further submissions and supporting documentation said to be relevant to the possible cancellation of Mr Djokovic’s visa”.

“Naturally, this will affect the timeframe for a decision,” they said.

So another drop of ‘lengthy further submissions and supporting documentation’ every few days for the next three weeks – and Bingo, the consideration continues naturally, because ‘procedural fairness’.

Novak can clean up at AO, fuck off with the trophy + cheque, and Alex Hawke can eventually declare a stern warning that NEXT TIME, the paperwork absolutely must be correct…

Playboy Mansion Had So Much Cocaine That Poodle Became Addicted, Report Says (11 Jan)

The Sun reports there was so much cocaine in the Playboy Mansion that Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner’s best friend’s poodle got addicted to it. The dog’s drug habit was so bad that it had to be locked in a room during parties because it would jump on people and lick guests’ noses for the next fix.

I don’t see how people feel taken for granted. The global goal posts are shifted every day with regards to COVID, variants, testing, borders, military strategies and the bloody states are as irrational as it gets.

Morrison is caught squarely between a rock and a hard place.

No government in Australian history has taken a step like he did with AUKUS. His strengthening of the military with Peter Dutton incorporating some real meat is unsurpassed. No Australian government has come close to standing up to China like he has and continues to. He was wedged by the whole world in the net zero debate by 2050 and he needed to act to ensure ongoing exports continued at record pace. He saved our arse in this covid debacle and it is telling that so many can’t see that. Check the fiscal and health stats against the rest of the world and see how well he has done. Securing stronger military partnerships with India, Japan, UK and strengthening the US alliance cannot be sneezed at.

STATES CLOSED THE INTERNAL BORDERS AND INTRODUCED MANDATES, NOT MORRISON.

Kick him out by all means but there is not another politician in Australia except Dutton who can come close to that short list of achievements. Closing minds to that is as dangerous to our future as it gets right now.

No – really.
From about May 2020, it was becoming obvious to the average man on the 6pm bus, that government was making things worse and that ‘letting ‘er rip’ and looking after the vulnerable was the only logical course to make.
However, because the collective opinion of the ‘Smartest Minds in the Room’ stated that nothing would succeed unless they decreed it, the world has gone for two years following their ridiculous orders that failed, and continue to fail at every hurdle.
But they cannot change course because of saving face.
What they have done is provided a form of leadership that derives not from courage, but from curiosity. We follow not because we see success, we follow because it provides amusement and tragedy in equal measure and it is morbidly fascinating.

if this is what it looks like to me, this is not spreading like wildfire in these groups because omicron is some crazy new superspread variant. it’s spreading because all these people over-trained their immune systems against a specific spike protein pattern and their immune response is now a one trick pony that cannot mount an effective sterilizing resistance against variants and perhaps will NEVER gain this capability.

This is precisely what Professor Bhakdi said at least six months ago.

Have I got the gist of the thing or am I missing something?

Astute cherry-picking of the milions of articles on the Internet ensures that the hyperbowl remains off the scale. There’s also among the unvaxxed cohort a nasty glee at the thought of imminent damage or death for those who have taken the vax.

The authorities must be delighted: one more contentious issue to further divide the masses. And while we’re all challenging each other, they’re quietly passing dictatorial laws which ratify their control over us.

Exactly.
Which is why the arguments against this crap should always and only be concentrated on the immorality of the coercion to get jabbed (with a not yet fully trialed potion) and the exclusion of people who choose not to have it.

NO ONE can mount an argument against these points.

Europe has millions and millions of cases, very few in hospital and of those the majority of very unwell are unvaxxed.
Italy 2 1 million cases

I’m sure there are millions more walking around not knowing or wanting to know they have omicron.

Additional deaths may be being reported from nurses and funeral directors. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if some were vax injuries that the authorities are being coy about.
That seems to be the case. Note in 2020 there were no vaccines but the lockdowns caused delayed medical attention etc. No bump in what the insurance companies and funeral directors were seeing.

Police have indicated they may be seeking a jail term for a Perth bar owner if he is convicted of “serious” breaches of COVID laws by allowing almost 300 revellers at a New Year’s Eve party to dance without wearing masks.

During the hearing, police revealed that both men were present at the New Year’s Eve event, which was first attended by police responding to a noise complaint about 10.00pm.*

Senior Constable Ray Lee told the court that while the front doors were locked, they managed to get inside via a side laneway and saw “a large number of people seated and standing who were not wearing masks”.**

Senior Constable Lee said Mr Parihar was given a warning about non-compliance with COVID restrictions before the officers left.

The court heard they returned about 11.00pm after another complaint*** but this time there were black curtains over the windows and despite repeated calls to be let in, they had to scale a locked gate to get into the premises.

….

But CCTV footage, which was seized, showed there had previously been a lack of compliance with COVID rules, including mask-less people dancing on tables.*****

He also said there was evidence QR code check-in posters had been removed and some were found in the bin.******

Senior Constable Lee described the allegations as “deliberate wilful offending”, which was at the “highest end” of the scale and he noted that other recent instances of people breaching COVID rules had seen jail terms imposed.

* Anyone believe there was a “noise complaint”, about a bar, on new years eve at 10:00??
** God rest their souls, all pushed into the pit at the back of the bar after the Masque of the red death was finished.

Testing was always going to be the holy grail repression tool sought by the Nazis. It is a perfect repression mechanism self administered by the repressed.
I repeat my earlier forecast:
It will be compulsory for plebs to obtain a certain number of test kits over a defined time period.
Test kits will be recorded by serial number and allocated to pleb X.
Result reporting to the new website will be compulsory, audited and enforced.
Used kits must be retained.
Every aspect of your life will be controlled by test repression.
Like the French Revolution, the process of test repression will become perpetually more extreme until it implodes.
Every Queenslander will be required to download a ringtone of Bogan Barbie intoning : “it’s a small price to pay for remaining safe”.
Exhibit A: Son called up to say “don’t come and visit, they can’t get access to test kits and thus it would be unsafe for them to be with us”.

Delingpole. Oh ho ho ho hoo boy. Put the tip of the blade on the sternum, and hammered the hilt with the palm of his hand so it went all the way in, first time.

Someone said upthread that the machine is breaking. I agree wholeheartedly, and not before time.

As Delingpole masterfully illustrates, the political class in this country (and probably most countries, for that matter) are not – I say again, NOT – Machiavellian schemers in league with shadowy millennia-old Stonecutter chapters. They are NOT darkly hooded, Emperor Palpatine lookalikes plotting civilisational destruction, rubbing their hands by candlelight moaning ‘Good, goooood’.

The primary reason for this is that they are thick as shit.

They are, to a man, incompetent middle managers who have consistently failed upward. They are weathervanes driven by Twitter and Instagram, and advised by younger versions of themselves who are also devotees of these unrepresentative yet fashionable platforms.

Anyone that truly believes people are in politics in this day and age to serve the people of this country is deluded. They are there for the profile, for the free cars, the inside running on individual wealth management and above all the pension benefits.

They cannot walk this nonsense back because there are Karen cohorts on Facebook who don’t want them to, and who find purpose in being harbingers of doom. Their advisers’ jobs depend on other people’s perceived terror. The covid industry depends on the same thing.

This eclectic kaleidoscope of buffoonery posing as a political class will only be moved away from this nightmare when it becomes apparent that their reputations, and more importantly their own bank balances will suffer.

Calli , I posted this back in early October. I can vouch for this guy’s credentials as he is a world know virologist.

Hi JC
When it comes to safety, the author is right, it is a cytidine nucleoside (RNA and DNA building block) analog but differs from current nucleoside analog antivirals which are what we call chain terminators (completely stops replication). This one induces a analog switch during virus replication and at the subsequent copy for the new RNA the analog can either be read as a cytidine or uridine. It is therefore a new method of action and Merck will have to prove that there are no short and long term side effects. As it is only taken for 5 days and I would assume the affinity for the viral enzyme (RNA polymerase) would be thousands fold higher than for human DNA polymerase (if DNA polymerase can actually use it – I don’t know) one would assume it is very virus specific and will not affect human cell replication or change human DNA. It may at a low level affect human RNA but that is not a huge problem as RNA is short lived. That being said, I agree, foetal development in the first 6 weeks will be a crucial time where the molnupiravir may have some influence. I would therefore assume one of the requirements will be a pregnancy test before giving the drug. The biggest problem would be possible long term effects eg increased cancer risk in a small number of people as this will not be apparent for a long time. One can however make pretty good predictions based on whether human cell DNA polymerases incorporates the drug or not (human RNA polymerase may to some extend but with minimal effect or side effects) . I

The guy says RNA has a short lifecycle and therefore replaced immediately. There is no Bubble Boy effect on the population.

You know my view on that score as I’ve possibly expressed it 1000 fucking times. My point is that the risk is now much larger because the population introduced to the new drug is in the billions, which is multiples more in comparison to other new drugs.

The problem I have is all the conflicting assertions, some of which don’t make sense. Like the one about flu vax.

Another thing that doesn’t make sense. Just had a visit from a nephew who had the same experience as Rickw. Girlfriend contracted covid, gave it to his mum, but neither he nor his brothers got it. Even though he and girlfriend share a house and mum was just a visitor.

So much for super infectious Omicron.

I picture myself treading water in a sea of lies. Every so often there’s a lull, then another wave of b/s breaks over my head.

Any vote against the LNP is a direct vote for a Labor/ Greens government and no amount of weasel words can change that.

In concert with others, I have to question the methodology on this one.

Seeing that the vote forms aren’t handed out yet, perhaps it’s a bit presumptuous to be deciding who we are going to vote for?
Yes, the general idea is worth investigating but not the detail.

Good for him. He certainly got a good deal considering Dylan only got $300m for a much more worthy repertoire if measured by hits alone, including innumerable cover versions.

Just stop pretending to be a renegade now, Bruce.

I take it you are vaccinated because if not you will be once Albanese and Co mandate it..

Shifting the blame entirely onto the States is an exercise in scapegoating. They formed a National Cabinet, they are all equally to blame. But even if that isn’t obvious:

The vaccination passport on my phone, it looks like a federal document. Without that particular piece of infrastructure, the ‘vaccinated economy’ couldn’t exist. The mandates wouldn’t have teeth and, quite frankly, I doubt they’d exist outside of very specific occupations. It’s absolutely certain that shops and businesses wouldn’t be demanding them.

Never in my life have I needed to carry my vaccination status around in my pocket, within my own country. All of a sudden, along comes Covid, and Morrison’s muppets introduce a vaccination app for our phones. They concurrently claim it’s for our convenience, but denying a plan of mandates. Sure, the Feds didn’t pull the trigger, but they knowingly provided the weapon and the ammunition.

Who’s the bloke who specifically re-wrote the criteria for ‘provisionally’ approving medicines, in order to allow this particular abomination to be forced on people? Professor Skerritt? What’s his position? Deputy Secretary, Health Products Regulation Group? Isn’t that a Federal position?

SCOTT MORRISON:
If Professor Skerritt gives it the tick, then I’m happy to take the jab.

Did Morrison ever challenge the States overreach in the high court? Did he even threaten to? Did he even express concern that peaceful protests were proactively being broken up by force?

Finally, I don’t know why people continually use what happens around the world to justify Morrison’s actions. I didn’t vote for other world leaders, nor do I think our leaders should ape them. Sweden made their own decisions, we could have too. If it’s a Global government thing, Morrison deserves far more scorn than he gets here, he should be on trial.

Two news anchors for Melbourne’s 7NEWS have been caught discussing the matter with the sound and images leaked online by an anonymous source.

Rebecca Maddern starts off accusing Djokovic of being a “lying, sneaky a***hole” before challenging his positive PCR test result.

Co-host Mike Amor is in agreement, also branding Djokovic a liar and “a***hole,” before saying he expects the nine-time Australian Open champ to “get away with it” and be allowed to compete at this year’s tournament.

European Union regulators warned that frequent Covid-19 booster shots could adversely affect the immune system and may not be feasible.

Repeat booster doses every four months could eventually weaken the immune system and tire out people, according to the European Medicines Agency. Instead, countries should leave more time between booster programs and tie them to the onset of the cold season in each hemisphere, following the blueprint set out by influenza vaccination strategies, the agency said.

The advice comes as some countries consider the possibility of offering people second booster shots in a bid to provide further protection against surging omicron infections. Earlier this month Israel became the first nation to start administering a second booster, or fourth shot, to those over 60. The U.K. has said that boosters are providing good levels of protection and there is no need for a second booster shot at the moment, but will review data as it evolves.

Boosters “can be done once, or maybe twice, but it’s not something that we can think should be repeated constantly,” Marco Cavaleri, the EMA head of biological health threats and vaccines strategy, said at a press briefing on Tuesday. “We need to think about how we can transition from the current pandemic setting to a more endemic setting.”

If Europe doesn’t need boosters except in winter, why does Australia need them at all?
